After seven years of probation and having worked for two hundred hours of community service Friday morning Rapper Da Brat was sent to jail for a period of three years. Ho ho!! But then what’s the reason when she had done so much for the community service?

The reason explains that Da Brat had permanently scarred a woman’s face by hitting her with a rum bottle. No matter how the loving child of the family harmed a woman, her family yet loves her and admitted it when she was sentenced by Judge Gail Flake at the DeKalb County Superior Court.

Six members of her family who came for the hearing on the day of her sentence were weeping at the verdict. Rapper Da Brat was convicted under the felony aggravated assault which means a serious physical infliction of harm that totally changes the appearance of a body part. However, Harris had pleaded for her under this certain section and it was rejected.

It is being said the humiliating and terrifying incident took place last Halloween at a party at Jermaine Dupri’s Studio 72 nightclub outside Atlanta according to some reliable sources. The sources also inform that Da Brat was furious at one of the waitresses in the pub and the situation was drawn to a boiling point when Da Brat could not keep control over her temper.

Later then she was accused of hitting the waitress with a rum bottle that made numerous cuts and scratches on the waitress’ face. The victim was then hospitalized immediately for treatment.

History repeats itself the saying goes and yes! History tells public that this is not the first time Da Brat had got involved in such cases where there had been incidents of serious physical altercations and this is not the first time that she faced court! Some other charges against her from past are beating a woman with a gun over a seating plan in 2000. That victim had been given six stitches on the head. Just in the following year, she served eighty hours of community service and paid compensation of $1,000 only when pleaded guilty for misdemeanor reckless act.

A band group which had been founded by four brother vocalists namely Nick and Drew Lachey, Justin Jeffre, and Jeff Timmons. It was named 98 Degrees. The group was formed in 1995 by Jeff Timmons after he decided to leave university and head to form such a music band.

That was first time when at a college function he had his voice praised by the female audience. Over years, the group refined itself and attended many auditions in Los Angeles to make its way through the music industry. Their first ever chance to let the world hear their voice was in that very year supposedly, 1995. It was Paris D’Jon who gave them a chance to manage for 98 Degrees to open for Jordan.
