Asam Asam has said.

Asam, who spoke against the backdrop of consular challenges faced by the embassy, disclosed this in an interview in Berlin.

Investigations reveal that the crime had decline in Western Europe following strict laws on illegal migration, and joint efforts by Nigeria and the governments of those countries to curb the menace.

However, attention has shifted to Eastern Europe as the new destination for the trade.

"The major consular challenge we face in Moscow is the influx of trafficked persons from Nigeria, not less than 200 girls are trafficked every month, and we have so many of them exposed to danger."

"Some are thrown out of the window and treated harshly, there must be a way of stopping these racketeering, these girls are not tourists, students or government officials yet they are given visas from the Russian embassy in Abuja."

"So far we have deported over 240 girls since 2012, you will be shocked, at the extend of resistance from the girls, we tell them Russia is not a destination for prostitutes yet they still come," Asam said.

According to him, the mission tries to curb the menace by arranging deportation exercise for those caught, but the challenges are enormous.

The envoy said such intervention would be more effective at the point of entry “the strategy is to stop them from Nigeria, and fish out those involved in the trade.

"For instance a well known Russian human trafficker who has been in the trade for about 20 years was caught in Nigeria."
<div style="color: #222222; Asama stressed.

He said even the parents of those trafficked encourage their children," I spoke to the mother of one of the girls and she said her daughter should remain in Moscow and try to survive the ordeal, this is very sad indeed coming from one’s parent."

He tasked the media on sensitising the public on the dangers of trafficking in Russia, "this East European nation has become a new destination for them, and believe me it is a very big crime here." Asam, however, said that other Nigerians who reside in that country were students, and professionals in various fields of human endeavours.
<div style="color: #222222; font-family: Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif; Then all I could think was I could die in this prison and no one will know or care.

Being imprisoned felt justifiable, considering I was being punished for being ‘gay’ – something they assumed due to my feminine features and mannerisms.

I wasn’t gay, I am a woman born differently due to natural defects. What I felt did not match my outward appearance, Being assigned male at birth doesn’t make me a man or a woman, nobody was born a man or a women, you develop into your preferred gender as you grow up. For me that gender was female. I was born male but my brain, gestures, features and carriage functioned as female.

Growing up and not knowing what was happening to my body made me confused and lost. I couldn’t discuss it with my family because my femininity was frowned on due to religion and I could not talk to my friends because they would not understand what I was going through. I found solace in music and dreams.

I dreamt of being free to be myself, free of insults, free of judgment and free from harassment.

That freedom came when I moved to the United Kingdom, finding girls like me gave me hope of not being alone in my journey of self-discovery.

I found out what I went through growing up in Nigeria was quite common with transgéndered people. Having freedom, acceptance and knowledge are the key most important elements to a successful transition.

Knowing I am not alone in my struggles helped me to reevaluate my views on life and how I should go about my transition wisely. I researched my transition and reconciled the conflicting emotions involved in the process of accepting myself as the woman I am.

It is a lonely world during transition, as your body changes so do your emotions, which leads the mind into the darkest path in life. If the chemicals are not professionally controlled, you can feel suicidal due to rejection from loved ones and society.

In life perfection doesn’t existent, but for me having the freedom to be my true self feels almost perfect. As a black transgéndered woman I am faced with many daily challenges such as transphobia, a complicated love life, poor career prospects and racism. But when I remember my life history, these challenges become water under the bridge.

That is why I will always remember those who built this foundation for freedom and knowledge. Also those who never got the chance to enjoy the acceptance we have achieved so far.

Transgénder Day of Remembrance today (20 November) is particularly import to me because I have lost close friends to suicide and have seen many more wishing to commit suicide as a final fix to their gender dilemma and rejection by society.

The media is silent on the subject of transphobia and the effects it has on young transgéndered people of today, because they don’t see transgéndered people as ‘normal’ members of our community.

Remembering my fallen friends helps me to keep their memories alive. He said:
“Baba (Obasanjo) has spoken with President Goodluck Jonathan about the issues raised by those PDP governors. He advised him against being unnecessarily harsh on them. He reminded the president of the danger in sending seven governors away, with 2015 elections just around the corner."
The governors are Sule Lamido (Jigawa), Rotimi Amaechi (Rivers), Babangida Aliyu (Niger), Murtala Nyako (Adamawa), Rabiu Kwankwaso (Kano), Aliyu Magatakarda Wamakko (Sokoto), and Abdulfatah Ahmed (Kwara).
The governors want Alhaji BamangaTukur removed as the national chairman, even as they demand internal democracy and lifting of the suspension on Governor Amaechi, among other conditions. Although they have had a dialogue with Jonathan, peace remains elusive in the party.
Only recently, five of the G7 governors were in Abeokuta to meet with Obasanjo to inform him of their plan to leave the PDP for Jonathan and work with the APC to defeat him in 2015. But Obasanjo pleaded with them not to do so, at least for now. He promised them he would caution Jonathan.
But appears Jonathan is not ready to listen to everything Obasanjo told him as he still goes after the governors in the G7 with every power at his disposal. Hence, the governors are ready to join the APC.

Ex Most Beautiful Girl Munachi Abii Shows Off Her New Boyfriend

Ex Most beautiful Girl in Nigeria (MBGN), gorgeous Munachi Abii who has also become a famous Nigerian rapper, happily attended Peter Okoye's wedding with her assumed new boyfriend.
Through this event Munachi grabbed the opportunity to unveil her real and newest boyfriend Tomi Thomas.

Tomi Thomas, a dreadlock lover is a singer and a member of L.O.S, attended the wedding with Muna.
Meanwhile, the singer is insisting that Tomi Thomas is not her boyfriend.

It will be recalled that Muna denied ever having anything intimate with Peter Okoye, but according to rumors they used to date for a month.

Africa Gets First Underwater Hotel[Pictured]

The Underwater Room at the Manta Resort is Africa’s first underwater hotel space.

Divers, snorklers and Steve Zissou-types can immerse themselves in the unspoiled waters of a remote African island in an entirely new way, thanks to a Swedish design team.

Off the coast of Tanzania, The Manta Resort on Pemba Island has unveiled a new private accommodation with a bedroom four meters below the surface. class="alignnone size-full" height="103" src="http://talkloaded.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/10/images-221.jpg" title="images-221.jpg" width="118" />
Here are five things that he may need to hear from you when he is down for the count:
1. “I believe in you.”
Sweet words like this, whispered
or yelled, can help your husband know that, despite any self-doubt, there is
someone that sees his worth and has bought into his long term vision and mission for himself and the family.
2. “I love you.”
Your husband may need to hear these words when things are not going his way to center him and remind him that your love is unconditional and anchored in something larger than immediate
challenges or (perceived) failures.
3. “I am here if you need to talk.”
Some say that men aren’t wired to be the best communicators in general, And when their emotions are all up in a knot because of a current problem they are trying to solve in their lives— forget about it—you need a crow bar to get the
man in your life to emote or express his feelings.
Well, maybe the truth of the matter is that instead of getting them to open up, we give them permission to be themselves and be ready when
they want to share.
4. “You sexy as ….”
s*x sells but it also heals. I’ve polled a few men informally about this statement and they agree that reminding your husband that he is sexy and wanted is something that brightens their day and
infuses them with a little more courage to persevere. CAVEAT: It is best that this statement is said as a prelude to a love session and you are already unclad. You gotta deliver on this statement. Don’t be starting nothing that you can’t finish.
5. “This too shall pass.”
If your husband has identified himself as the leader of the family, Mr. Protector, and Mr. Provider, and somehow his current obstacles are keeping him from fulfilling these roles, it might be helpful to remind him that whatever is going on is temporary and it shall pass. When he hears this and knows that you believe this, it may give him the patience and peace of mind to ride out the tide without beating himself up for what he thinks he ought to be doing for himself and the family.

Lagos Driver Goes Wild, Takes Off His Clothes to Escape Arrest [Photo]

There was drama at Palmgrove Bus Stop in Lagos State, on Monday when a commercial bus driver stripped to avoid being arrested by officials of the Lagos State Traffic Management Authority. The
LASTMA officials had blocked five different commercial buses for indiscriminately taking passengers by the side of the road.
Passengers in the four vehicles were asked to alight, as officials of the traffic agency took over the wheels of the impounded vehicles. But something
happened when the driver, an elderly man, who drove the fifth bus suddenly went inside his bus and brought out a bowl.
According to Punch, a fetid odour emanating from the bowl polluted the morning air. The LASTMA officers, policemen and commuters ran for cover. But one of the officials came back and stood his ground, wielding a baton and insisting that the man must follow them.
When it became obvious that the odour strategy failed, the driver began pulling off his clothes, prostrating by the front tyres of the vehicle and rolling on the floor.
A crowd formed around the area, with some of the bystanders capturing the scene with their camera phones. One of the officials was heard telling his colleagues to “ leave him alone and let him go.” However, they took close shots of the vehicle number plate, and the driver, before taking other seized vehicles away.
Our correspondent spoke with a resident who said he knew the old man well. He said, “That is how the man usually does. His bus plies Lagos Island everyday and
he picks his passengers from that spot.”
The source said the bus was owned by a military officer.
When Punch correspondent approached the old man for comment, he refused to talk. When confronted with the allegation of being a serial offender, he said, “Look, whoever wants to talk should talk. Government does not want to be in the business of running major infrastructure entities and we haven’t done a very good job at it over all these years.”

A presidential audit of the facilities last year recommended their sale due to inadequate government funding and “sub-optimal performance.” The refineries, which have a combined 445,000 barrel-a-day capacity, should be privatized within 18 months, according to the report submitted to President Goodluck Jonathan in November 2012. Nigeria, a member of the Organization of Petroleum Exporting Countries, produced 1.99 million barrels a day of crude in October, data compiled by Bloomberg show.

While Nigeria is also Africa’s top crude exporter and the most populous with more than 160 million people, it relies on fuel imports to meet more than 70 percent of its needs. Its state-owned plants operate at a fraction of their capacity because of poor maintenance and aging equipment. Nigeria also exchanges 60,000 barrels a day of crude for products with Trafigura Beheer BV and a similar amount with Societe Ivoirienne de Raffinage’s refinery in Ivory Coast, according to Nigeria National Petroleum Corp.

“We are right now undergoing a major turnaround maintenance program” of the refineries, Alison-Madueke said.

Improvements to the two-unit 210,000 barrel-a-day Port Harcourt refinery, the country’s biggest, will be completed by the end of the year, to be followed by enhancements at the Warri and Kaduna sites in 2014, according to the NNPC. Warri has a daily processing capacity of 125,000 and Kaduna 110,000 barrels.

Towards the end of former President Obasanjo’s administration in 2007, the refineries were sold to companies owned by billionaire Aliko Dangote and Femi Otedola, but the sale was reversed by the President Musa Yar’Adua government that took over from Obasanjo. There is no justification for your weakness as you can be almost perfect if you put in some efforts. An absolute change could be difficult but a positive adjustment is possible. If you’ve ever ran on a default mode lifestyle before you decided to build a relationship, the moment you do, knowing you aren’t alone, knowing it takes two to make it work, an immediate shift is expedient. Satisfying the (wo)man you really love should be considered along your decisions. But before a relationship would hit an all time low, these are highlights that could lead it there.

1. Issues not discussed – There could be some areas you desire to have your partner change or get better at. If you choose to keep mute about it and you such keeps receiving your attention and you just can’t ignore, it kills relationships slowly.
2. Lies – Well, this cannot be overstretched. The more you lie to your partner, the lesser he/she trust you, and when trust is gone in a relationship, that’s trouble!
3. Not sharing – No one forms a relationship by themselves. It takes two to get at it. A balanced relationship demands the effort of the-two involved. It’s about what you-two bring to the center. The pressure would be one-sided if one person chooses to be greedy. Sharing is one of many things that powers a relationship and makes it balance.
4. Romance Wanted – Absence of romance in a relationship makes it boring.Romance is sensual and not always intimate. Identify those things that could create an intimate moment, things that sponsors good connection between you-two and starting doing them. The importance is simply to keep the attraction alive.
5. Blaming Your Partner – Yes! Keep blaming your partner for everything that’s wrong in your relationship and watch it die slowly. When you see more of his/her faults, there will always be something to complain about and the more the complains the more the relationship would lose its value.
6. Lack of Communication – Not in the area of phone calling or text messages though also important but specifically in the awareness of things to do or how to do them. Both parties must be kept abreast of what’s coming. Make your moves, schedules, work or some family related details clear to your partner. Always keeping them in the dark brings about uncertainties that could cause regular misunderstanding in a relationship.
7. Cohabitation – It’s one of the easiest ways to make your partner get fed up with the relationship. When you become too regular, so many things could lose its value and get lost accordingly.
8. Pretense – You seem to be too cool at everything because you want to impress him/her, that’s trouble! Whatever happens to being you should be reversed. Your partner could take it as being nice or tolerant. In a real relationship, no one is a cell-mate, you just be you!
9. Poor Timing – Whatsoever is sharing your quality time with your partner needs to be transferred on another time slot. Having the space for regular conversation strengthens your relationship and if it’s an LDR, you either could talk regularly on phone or pick a day or two in every week for this. Good time spent together reveals a lot, strengthens the bond, secures the relationship and it helps in no little measure.
10. Too Many Expectations – You want her to know what you want without saying it? You expect him to remember almost everything even when he has got several matters demanding his attention? Yes, we are in love and you sure mean a lot to us but we are human as well. Expect more and see more faults, expect less and you will be able to appreciate your partner more.

If there are issues not discussed in a relationship, it could make both partners keep hurtful secrets and in-turn produce beautiful lies. Blaming your partner while you appear to be without fault doesn’t make you in-charge but out rightly discharging the strength of the union. Cohabiting, though allowed in many countries is one major reason relationships will always lose its value quickly and another reason men and women would be used and abandoned. Somethings do NOT go together with a relationship and do remember that the best of relationships comes with several sacrifices made.

20 questions to ask your potential spouse?

So, here are 20 questions to ask a potential spouse. These are just suggestions, and by no means should all of them be asked on a first date. If a question doesn’t feel right to you, then don’t ask it. Or, just replace it with one that is not on the list. The point is to get singles who desire to be married to think carefully about what’s important to them and then to have open communication about these issues before marriage. There are plenty of married and divorced people who wish they had asked the tough questions before saying “I do.”

1. Do you have any life-threatening or incurable diseases?

2. Do you have any children? If so, how integral are they in your life?

3. What are your short term and long term goals?
4. What does financial stability mean to you?
5. What is your relationship like with your parents?
6. How often do you go to church, pray, read your Bible?
7. What gives you joy in life?
8. Do you have a criminal history or record?
9. Do you date men or women exclusively?
10. How many s*xual partners have you had?
11. What do you do when you get angry?

12. Do you have a job? How long have you been working/unemployed?
13. What was your last relationship like? How long ago was it?
14. What are you looking for in a mate?
15. Do you have crazy men or women calling, texting, or stalking you? Should I be afraid?
16. Are there many strong marriages in your family history?
17. What’s the one thing you don’t like about yourself?
18. Do you have any deal breakers for relationships?
19. What do you believe are the roles for men and women in relationships?
20. Do you desire to marry?
Now, there are no right or wrong answers per se. It all depends on what you deem as important. If a question matters to you, ask the question. Listen to the person’s words but also watch the person’s demeanor. Finally, pray about the answers you receive and ask God to order your next steps in the relationship. He might tell you to walk down the aisle or He might say walk the other way. You will never know until you ask.

Sharing Personal N*de Pictures Online…. He and at least three other men with whom he was traveling were arrested shortly after crossing the border.

Liberia’s Information Minister, Lewis Brown, said the burning was to show that there will be no tolerance for drug-related crimes.
“You can be in the center of a convoy, but if you break the law, there will be no hiding place for you,” he said. “That convoy will not hide you. We will arrest you, we will properly investigate you, and, as has been done, we will prosecute you in keeping with our laws. This crackdown will continue. It’s a nationwide crackdown.”
Liberia has a long history of drug problems. While it is illegal to grow, buy or sell marijuana in Liberia, penalties for drug offenders are minimal and have rarely been enforced.
Farmers throughout the country continue to produce and distribute marijuana, and the smuggling of drugs from Sierra Leone remains a problem.
Nick More, a 35-year-old resident of Monrovia’s West Point community, said he applauds the government for this latest crackdown on drug traffickers, but that more needs to be done.
“You cannot say you want to fight drugs war when farmers in Liberia are planting, are growing marijuana,” he said. “So I think what the government should be thinking of doing now is to move on those that are planting marijuana in our country.
