We all have our favorite television shows that were cut short after a single season for one reason or another. There have been shows that started online petitions from fans and others have inspired cult followings that are as popular today as they were when they first aired. Here are ten of my favorites.

Selfie

Starring Karen Gillan, John Cho, Da'Vine Joy, and David Harewood. In 2014 we were introduced to Eliza Dooley who after suffering a humiliating moment on a business trip with her colleagues realizes that having followers is not the same as having friends. Eliza begs a coworker to "rebrand" her so she is more likable and can become friends with her colleagues. Always up for a challenge, Henry takes on the task and they develop an unlikely friendship and learn a lot from each other.

Birds of Prey

In 2002 we were introduced to the Birds of Prey. The show featured an outstanding cast including Rachel Skarsten, Ashley Scott, Dina Meyer, Mia Sara, and Shemar Moore. The show takes place following the Joker's worst attack on Batman. The night he attacks Batgirl leaving her in a wheelchair and killing Catwoman in front of her daughter. As Barbara redefines herself as Oracle, she takes in Catwoman's daughter who eventually becomes Huntress. Their lives are turned upside down when a young runaway named Dinah appears and Oracle discovers that she has metahuman powers. Barbara and Huntress take her in and train her to use the power that she possesses and together they fight crime.

The Lone Gunmen

Sadly, The Lone Gunmen was a short-lived spinoff of the X-Files. Starring Dean Haglund, Tom Braidwood, and Bruce Harwood. Our favorite conspiracy theorists are about to close down their paper when Jimmy appears and offers to back them financially and becomes part of the team.

Freaky Links

Derek Barnes takes over his brother Adam paranormal research website when Adam dies unexpectedly. With the help of his friends, they investigate urban legends and try to solve what happened to Adam in the month's leading up to his death. Freaky Links was one of the best shows that ever aired. Starring; Ethan Embry, Karim Prince, Lisa Sheridan, and Lizette Carrian.

Firefly

Space western with a cult following. Firefly is set in 2517 the crew is desperate to survive in a world that mirrors the Old West and will do pretty much anything that is guaranteed to ensure their survival. Starring; Nathan Fillion, Summer Glau, Morena Baccarin, Jewel Staite, Gina Torres, Adam Baldwin, Alan Tudyk, Sean Mahr, and Ron Glass.

Bunheads

A great show that was canceled after just one season by the network and managed to rack up an impressive amount of awards after being canceled. The show follows a Las Vegas showgirl who marries a man that comes to a show. They drive back to where he lives with his mother, a dance teacher in a small town. What should have been a beautiful new start turns tragic when her new husband is killed in a car accident. Michelle decides to stay and offers to help her mother in law run the dance studio. Starring; Sutton Foster, Kelly Bishop, Julia Goldani Telles, Bailey DeYoung, and Kaitlyn Jenkins.

Secret Circle

After the death of her mother, Cassie goes to live with her grandmother. When she arrives in her new home town she is given a fresh start with new friends. Her new friends tell her that she is a powerful witch and they have been waiting for her to complete their circle. Cassie discovers her new friends are telling her the truth when she discovers her mother's old spell book in her grandmother's house.

Nine Lives of Chloe King

Chloe is fighting for her life and learning how to use her gifts at the same time. An amazing show that was canceled way too soon.

In 2014 we were introduced to Constantine the tv series. Starring; Matt Ryan, Angelica Celaya, and Charles Halford. Constantine, the so-called"Master of the Dark Arts" is pulled out of retirement to protect the daughter of one of his friends who died. With some help from Chas and Zed, the trio set out to battle demons.

Top of the Heap

A short-lived spinoff of Married with Children. Top of the Heap was a comedy show on Fox that followed the life of the manager of a run-down apartment complex who was desperate to have his son marry into money. Starring; Matt LeBlanc, Joey Lauren Adams, and Joseph Bologna.

My favorite product out of the entire personalized kit. An incredible cream that literally quenches and moisturizes the skin like nothing else. It has an anti-inflammatory agent and it hydrates the skin perfectly. I have been using this twice a day and have seen incredible results!

Zinc Shade

Sun protection is always a top priority but even more so in the summertime. The Zinc Shade protects you from both UVA and UVB rays. It has an SPF of 15 and is broadspectrum ( very important) The best part is that you can use it on its own or as a makeup primer for a flawless, smooth look. It has worked wonderfully with my sensitive skin.

Ultimate A 5- PM

Absolutely love this product! I put on a liberal amount prior to going to bed. It feels luxurious on the skin and absorbs quickly and easily. While I get my beauty sleep the Ultimate A goes to work hydrating, moisturizing, and reversing the signs of aging while preventing new wrinkles and lines from starting. I wake up every morning with soft, beautiful skin!

The Original Ginger just like the Live Seltzer is a stronger, more robust flavor that I really enjoy for its sustained energy on busy days. The Green Jasmine is just simply delicious. I just really love the flavor. The Blueberry White is also a fave because of the amazing flavor. It’s important to note that the website does recommend only drinking six-eight ounces a day of the tea until your body has time to adjust to all the benefits.

The Serum Gold was a first for me. It is enriched with 24k pure gold. After using this product for a while I have seen a great reduction in the appearance of my lines and wrinkles and my skin looks and feels firmer than it has in years. Vitamin A Serum

The Vitamin A Serum is also an anti-aging product that I was happy to review. It is enriched with retinol. It has a lightweight feel to it and absorbs quickly. My favorite part of the Vitamin A Serum is the bottle that it is packaged in. It has a dropper that helps ensure I get the right amount every time. I don't have to worry about getting too much or too little. Plus I can add a little extra to my forehead wrinkles. The best part is that it worked well with my sensitive skin.

Hydrogel Eye Mask Gold

I highly recommend this to anyone who battles with the dark circles under the eyes. It is a miracle worker at getting rid of those annoying dark circles. It even helps diminish the appearance of fine lines around the eyes.

Foot Balm

My favorite product that I have tried so far. I suffer from extremely dry, cracking, peeling,skin around my ankles and my feet. Over the past five years I have tried every cream and lotion to no avail. The Foot Balm worked great! I could see and feel a difference after just one use. I have been using the Foot Balm several times a day for a couple of weeks and the difference is amazing. I simply can’t recommend this product enough.

Hair Mask 2- Step Coconut Oil

With the hair salons being closed for so long my hair has definitely had its moments these past few months. I was thrilled to find this mask to help repair my dry,damaged hair. I was really happy that it helped repair the split-end damage I had from not being able to go to the salon for a trim. The mask left my hair looking great!

Rose Face Mist

The perfect product that you can carry with you everywhere you go. Living in Florida the heat and humidity can really do a number on your skin, Combine that with wearing a mask every time you leave the house and the Rose Face Mist definitely becomes an essential item. I carry this in my purse with me everywhere. My new routine is every time I get in my car, hand sanitizer, face mask off, and spritz my face with the rose face mist to freshen and hydrate my skin.

Over-sized Hat

An over-sized hat is a great accessory that goes with any outfit, plus they’re fun to wear. Wearing an over-sized hat helps keep the sun off your face and head. It also helps keep you cool which is very important especially with the heat and humidity here in the South. This particular hat was a gift from my Aunt a few years ago and it quickly became my favorite accessory.

Protect Sun Shield SPF 28 Coconut

The Sun Shield SPF 28 offers broad spectrum protection ( very important), and is antioxidant rich, Vitamin E and Aloe. Apply 15 minutes before your makeup . Typically I do not use makeup after applying sun protection. Simply because I have never had very good results. I made an exception in order to fully review this particular product. First, I applied the sun shield and then waited 15-20 minutes. The first thing I noticed was the absolutely heavenly scent.One thing that definitely surprised me was that it did not clog my pores. It blends into the skin easily and is light-weight. The Sun Shield works like a primer and you can apply makeup on top and it gives your face a beautiful, flawless finish.

Confession Time: I have a really bad habit of losing sunglasses so I typically stock up on them at the dollar store. Over-sized sunglasses look stylish and they give your face( especially around the eyes) more protection.

Protect- Replenishing Solar Defense Body Lotion SPF 50 (Water Resistant)

The Replenishing Solar Defense Body Lotion SPF 50 offers broad spectrum protection, and has coconut oil and shea butter. I was very surprised by how thick this product was. However, it does absorb into the skin fairly quickly and leaves the skin feeling soft and silky.My favorite part is that it does not leave your skin looking snow white like most products do. Plus it smells great. I apply this 20-30 minutes before going outside and reapply every couple of hours.

Sun Shield Stick SPF 50 ( Water Resistant)

This particular product comes in both tinted and non-tinted. I opted for the non-tinted. It also offers broad spectrum protection, and has avocado, and Vitamin E.

I was really impressed with the results. It is very smooth and does not feel greasy or heavy.

It moisturizes your skin like nothing else and is convenient enough to carry with you everywhere you go. Simply drop into your bag,purse, or pocket and you will always have it when you need it. You can reapply throughout the day as needed.

Recap:

Tonight's episode starts with Nancy confronting Carson with the proof that Lucy was her mother in a heart-wrenching scene that had the whole fandom in tears.

The Aglaeca is sending some pretty ominous clues to the Drew Crew letting them know that she is still coming to collect what is owed. Meanwhile, Bess has been put in charge of planning the annual birthday bash for Aunt Diana.

Victoria tells the crew about a ritual that can diffuse the effects from an inhuman spirit like the Aglacea. According to Victoria they only need two things in order to perform the ritual, they will need the person who called to the Aglacea and one of Nancy's blood relatives.

Unfortunately for Nancy she just learned that her only living blood relative is Ryan, and she's not ready to tell him the truth. Victoria also warns them that performing the ritual is going to be very painful physically for Nancy.

After her fight with Carson, Nancy headed straight to Owen and he asks her to go with him to Aunt Diana's birthday bash and then fly to New York with him to get her away from whatever is bothering her.

Ace calls Nancy at Owen's to tell her about the ritual Victoria told them about and knows how difficult it will be since he is the only person that currently knows the truth about Nancy's biological parents. They agree to meet at Aunt Diana's birthday bash and decide they will perform the ritual there.

Nancy heads over to Ryan's and is shocked to learn that he has a copy of Lucy's journal and has been putting pieces together and tells Nancy he thinks Lucy may have been pregnant. He asks her to go with him to a free clinic that he thinks Lucy may have gone to for health care.

Owen warns Bess that bringing Lisbeth to the party may be a mistake because of the fact that she is cop who investigates wealthy families. Once Nancy and Ryan arrive at the clinic things do not go according to plan and Ryan reacts badly when the doctor refuses to give him any information about Lucy.

Nancy asks to speak to the doctor alone and tells her she's not going to ask her to break her oath. Nancy convinces Ryan that she spoke to the doctor and that Lucy was pregnant when she died. Ryan is heartbroken by the knowledge that not only did he lose the love of his life, he also lost his unborn child that he did not know about until now.

Driving back from the clinic Nancy has another vision and begins choking so bad that Ryan stops the car panicked to see if there is anything he can do to help her. Nancy tells him that she summoned the Aglacea and now it's coming to collect the toll ( Ryan) unless she can perform the ritual and that she needs his help in order to do it.

In true Ryan fashion he asks Nancy what would happen if he didn't help because there would be an upside to his biggest business competitor being taken out.

Needless to say that turned into an argument and Ryan ended up leaving Nancy on the side of the road and drove back to town alone.

On his way back to town Ryan realizes that Nancy's locket fell off in his car and is shocked when he opens it and sees a baby picture of Nancy inside that looks identical to a baby picture of Lucy that he has and finally puts the pieces together.

George and Nick head over to see Carson and try to convince him to help Nancy break the curse. Of course he has no idea what they are talking about but he heads straight over to the Marvins.

Ryan confronts Nancy at the party about the baby pictures and tells her that she's smarter than he is the same way that Lucy was always smarter than he was.

Nancy finally admits to Ryan that she is in fact his and Lucy's daughter and that she needs a blood

relative in order to perform the ritual.

Ryan is decidedly angry about the fact that if she didn't need a blood relative that she would not have told him. Ryan decides to help her anyway much to the confusion of the Drew Crew because Ace is still the only person who knows the truth. They begin the ritual and when the spirit starts attacking Nancy and Ryan sees how much pain she is in he begs her to let him stop the ritual but she refuses and tells him she needs him to save her friends. Nancy then tells everyone that Ryan is her biological father.

Once the ritual is over Ryan confronts Carson in the driveway and that Lucy died thinking he had abandoned her and that Nancy would have been safe with him and that he missed out on raising his own child because of him.

At the birthday bash for Diana Marvin the friends are still having vivid visions from the Aglacea and they realize the ritual did not work and they call Victoria for help. She tells them if it was not an inhuman spirit and was actually a human at one time they just made the spirit extremely mad. Upon learning this they rush off to find Owen and discover his lifeless body in the tub.

Nancy discovers that Bess is actually English and believes she is a Marvin based on stories she was told as a child. When Bess is attacked by a ghost at the Claw, the Drew Crew turn to Victoria for help. Victoria tells George how to perform the ritual to release Tiffany's spirit. Unfortunately, Bess who was supposed to be the lookout while George performed the ritual wandered off. George was interrupted before she could complete the ritual and became possessed by Tiffany's spirit. While Nancy and the Drew Crew try to figure out how to get Tiffany's spirit out of George, Tandy plays the 911 call her sister made right before she died at the funeral.

Nancy blackmails Ryan into helping her gain access to Blackwood Lodge when he asks her to help him steal some rare family coins at the auction. Nancy discovers that Ryan had taken Lucy there before she died and learns she may have witnessed something that led to her death.

The Lady of Larkspur Lane (8.3)

Nancy, George, and Nick attempt to break into the asylum that Lucy's mom lives in. Unfortunately, they manage to release a swarm of bugs ( spirits) that had been sealed up to protect the patients. Once inside they meet an orderly that tells them the place is haunted and then pulls the alarm. The asylum is evacuated with Nancy trapped inside the whisper box.

The Sign of the Uninvited Guest (8.4)

Nancy holds a reenactment of the night Tiffany died at the Claw. Ryan even agrees to participate in the hope of finding out who killed his wife and why. During the reenactment they discover that Tiffany was not the intended target, Ryan was the killer's target all along.

The Girl in the Locket (8.6)

In this heart-wrenching episode, Nancy is trying to come to terms with learning that Lucy and Ryan are her biological parents and how to stop Aglaeca from taking her revenge for breaking the pact. In order to perform a ritual that will lessen the effects of what they believe is an inhuman spirit Nancy will need a blood relative to be with her. In order for that to happen she will have to tell Ryan she is his daughter.
