2020-10-07T13:08:00.003-04:00

Hey everybody,

Wow! It's been a hot minute, since I've posted. I am so sorry..........it's been crazy, for sure! The pandemic and everything, that goes along with that a lone, has been unreal. Depression sets in and before you know it, you're only sleeping and eating. I had to get out of that! Now, I'm just behind on posting my projects.

Here are a few altered envelopes, I've been working on. They were created for different challenges.

My Altered Relish Jar

2020-04-24T19:45:00.000-04:00

Hey everybody,
I know it's been a while. Life happens and we have to deal with things, we don't want to some times.

I have missed y'all so much.........you just don't know how much! But hopefully, I'm back for a while. Below is one of the things, I've been working on.

Here is my jar, that I have altered. The story behind this is, when I was a young girl, our church had an egg hunt the Saturday before Easter. I found the most eggs, so I won this big Easter basket, filled full. The church presented this to me, at the Easter srevice, that morning. I couldn't wait for the srevice to be over, so I could check out all my goodies. When I got home, I tore open the basket and checked everything out. I had lots of candy, games, cute pencils and a pretty writing tablet. But most of all, I had received a little box and on the box it read, My Daily Bread. It was a box full of little scripture cards. Every day, I would randomly pull out a Scripture card and try and memorize it. I still have that little box of Scriptures. I wanted to take a picture, of the actual one, but it's packed away. So this is my version, of My Daily Scripture Jar.

Thanks, for stopping by! Hugs Brenda

Shabby Chic Altered Paperclips

2019-01-17T00:35:00.000-05:00

Hey everybody,
I just wanted to pop on here and show you some large altered paperclips I created, for a swap I entered. This is the first time, I've made any of these. I think they turned out pretty good, if I should say for myself.

I am trying to enter swaps and challenges, to get me out of my box. I've been making cards for years, but I feel I have gotten stale. I won't say that I don't like making them anymore, but I just needed a change.

You will still see cards from time to time, but I just need to push my creative juices a little. You understand, I'm sure. So keep coming back, to see what I come up with next.

Thank you, for stopping by!
Hugs and Blessings,
Brenda
