I been very lucky this year to get lots of tomatoes, zucchinis, cucumbers, squashes, apples, berries and more. My parents and my mother-in-law had a very fruitful year. So instead of blogging I been jarring everything and anything that got close to me, meaning given to me. Unusual spring and summer this has been. We seen it all. I remember early spring was strange, one day we get temperature over 25°C and the next day hardly 10°C. Now temperatures have been soaring over 33°C and with humidity we were in the 40s. So I complained about winter being cold and not being able to get out for adventures - well now its summer and I am sheltered inside as well. Going outside its like walking into a furnace. Click here to see more, read more and comment ...

The answer is simple, my red Horse Chestnut tree, which in the past three years been very nicely blooming. However, I cannot take all the credit. When I look out the window from second floor the other day, I can see that everyone else has all the right settings for the hummingbird to show up, even the feeders. Click here to see more, read more and comment ...

Two years passed by in a blink of an eye. We still remember the day you were born, and the day we brought you to our home. First year was a blast, but the second year your surprised us how smart little boy you are, not to mention how affectionate and beautiful at heart you are. Every day if I had time I would write pages and pages of new and cute things you do. Let me outline some of them to you. Click here to read more, to see more and to comment...
I found this by accident. This is interesting project from The New York Times, called Moment in Time. The organizer from The New York Times is calling all with camera to take a photo on May 2nd, 2010 at 3:00 pm (15:00). More details on their site. READ MORE ... (A Moment in Time or, F.A.Q. on U.T.C.). I will try to participate, however, still uncertain on my part.

UPDATE: My submission Unique Dandelion to the 'A Moment In Time' project by The New York Times, LENS is a photograph of dandelion from my backyard at May 2nd, 2010 at 3:07 pm. I had a very small window of opportunity, didn't hit the 3 o'clock mark, and I got a weed. Happiness never decreases by being shared.’

A tag of happiness finally reached me. I don’t get involved with awards or tags at all, so I will change some rules here. However, it was my friend Tatiana from Totally-Useless (I still don’t know why she wouldn’t call her blog Totally-Useful) who showered me with her happiness post. If you would like to get involved and share your happiness please do visit Tatiana here for the tag rules, and do not forget to leave her a comment, she got some useful posts for you to read also. Lastly, I will obey the holy rule of this tag and list bloggers that make me happy. It is all up to you if you wish to be involved. All of you make me happy for different reasons, so remember the list is not in any particular order.

List of blogger friends that make me happy including Tatiana: Bob from BlackHoles and AstroStuff, Medam from Colored Garden, Dick from Eye on Texel, Will from Healthy Living For People and Planet Earth, Roger from Roger Dmans, JB from JB's Big World, John Maslowski from Sirius2 Photography, kRiZ cPEc from kRiZ cPEc Photo Blog, Max from MAX: Dissecting Life & Society, Nancy from Nature Shows and Dreams, Lynda from Peripheral Vision - Inner Sights by Lynda Lehmann, Kathy from Photography by KML, Priyank from Final Transit by Priyank Thatte, Peter from St. Vincent's Hospital Darlinghurst - Male Nurses, Susanne from Sue's Daily Photos, Swubird from Swubirds's Nest, Lena from The Colors Magazine, Max-e from The Max Files, and JD from The Uneasy Supplicant.
Funny what kids choose to like. The only things he thought were funny to him were cats. As we quickly zoomed through the farm, was saw all kinds of animals like ducks, geese, roosters, chickens, sheep, horses, ponies, emus (I didn't even know they had those on the farms in Canada). They also had one cow for milking display purposes, and she wasn't looking good either. I said we zoomed because it was cold, even inside the barns. Click here to see more, read more and comment ...
