I missed September post, so when I look back one day at this photo, it will remind me what I did. I been very lucky this year to get lots of tomatoes, zucchinis, cucumbers, squashes, apples, berries and more. My parents and my mother-in-law had a very fruitful year. Beating Summer Heat In The Pool

We were beating summer heat in the water, until we all got sick. Unusual spring and summer this has been. We seen it all. I remember early spring was strange, one day we get temperature over 25°C and the next day hardly 10°C. Now temperatures have been soaring over 33°C and with humidity we were in the 40s. So I complained about winter being cold and not being able to get out for adventures - well now its summer and I am sheltered inside as well. Going outside its like walking into a furnace. Kind of short notice post. I found this by accident. This is interesting project from The New York Times, called Moment in Time. The organizer from The New York Times is calling all with camera to take a photo on May 2nd, 2010 at 3:00 pm (15:00). More details on their site. READ MORE ... Spring Makes Me Happy

I think we can all agree on this quote by Buddha: ‘Thousands of candles can be lighted from a single candle, and the life of the candle will not be shortened. Happiness never decreases by being shared.’

A tag of happiness finally reached me. I don’t get involved with awards or tags at all, so I will change some rules here. Good Luck Horseshoe

Last fall we took Matthew to the Puck's Farm to see farm animals. Funny what kids choose to like. The only things he thought were funny to him were cats. As we quickly zoomed through the farm, was saw all kinds of animals like ducks, geese, roosters, chickens, sheep, horses, ponies, emus (I didn't even know they had those on the farms in Canada). They also had one cow for milking display purposes, and she wasn't looking good either. I said we zoomed because it was cold, even inside the barns. Click here to see more, read more and comment ...
