Right Answer of the last asked Question is here:

Tom and Britney were two long distance lovers. Tom lived in Chicago, and Britney lived in New York. Tom was eager to get married soon. Britney, who wanted to concentrate on her career, wanted to delay for at least two years. Knowing that Chicago and New York have a time difference on an hour, Britney told Tom over the phone that if he proposed at a time when both Chicago and New York have the same time, she would(may) agree to get married right away. Within a month, Tom proposed, and Britney agreed. And the married couple, at least for Tom, lived happily ever after. How did this happen? When did Tom propose?

Within a month, Tom proposed, and Britney agreed. And the married couple, at least for Tom, lived happily ever after. How did this happen? When did Tom propose?

Angelina has 25 gold coins. One on those coins is lighter, while the rest of the coins have the same weight. If Angelina has a balance, how would Angelina determine which coin is the lighter one with 3 weightings?

On the first weighing, weigh the 2 groups of nine coins. If they have the same weight, then the counterfeit is in the group with 7 coins. If one of the groups of 9's weighs less, then the counterfeit is on that group.

On the second weighing, divide the group where Angelina knows the counterfeit coin is into 3 subgroups, where the first two subgroups would have 3 coins each. Weigh these first two subgroups. If they have the same weight then the counterfeit is on the third subgroup. If one of them weighs less, the counterfeit is on the subgroup that weighs less.

Since the subgroup that contains the counterfeit has at most 3 coins. Weighing two of these coins will allow Angelina to know which coin is the counterfeit.

Last time asked Question's right Answer is here.........

Five men and five boys have to cross over the Thames River to attend a birthday party. They have only one small boat with them. Due to small size of the row boat, the boat can not carry more than one man, or more than two boys. Thus, a man riding with a boy would not be possible. What would be the least number of boat trips that would take everyone to the other shore?

Five men and five boys have to cross over the Thames River to attend a birthday party. They have only one small boat with them. Due to small size of the row boat, the boat can not carry more than one man, or more than two boys. Thus, a man riding with a boy would not be possible. What would be the least number of boat trips that would take everyone to the other shore?

Right Answer of last asked Question is here..........

Water tank has three inlet pipes and one outlet pipe. One inlet pipe A takes 2 hours to fill the tank. Another inlet pipe B takes 3 hours to fill the tank. The third inlet pipe C takes 4 hours to fill the tank. The outlet pipe D empties the whole tank in 12 hours. If the tank is initially empty, how long would it take to fill the tank if all the inlets and outlet pipes are fully in operation?

1 Hour to fill the Water Tank but How to???.....Let's Calculate

The rates for the pipes are as under:

Pipe A = 1/2 tank per hour
Pipe B = 1/3 tank per hour
Pipe C = 1/4 tank per hour
Outlet Pipe D = -1/12 tank per hour

1 full tank = rate x time
1 = (1/2+1/3+1/4-1/12) time
time = 1 hour

Therefore, Water Tank completely fill after 1 hour.

James bought 4 different items worth $ 6.75 from a store. when he check out, his friend alerted him that the store clerk, instead of adding the prices, multiplied the prices of the 4 items he bought. James did not seem to care much about it. Instead, he said, "The price is the same whether you multiplied them or added them." If one of the items he bought was worth $ 1.50, what are the prices of the three other items James bought?
