Cosina Super 8! This morning my colleagues found this pure white kitten wondering around in the office and they tried to get the cat to pose with the antique camera. I froze a few frames of the kitten with this beautiful camera - Cosina Super-8 made in Japan in the early 70’s.

While some dream of getting a land speed of 260kph on a motorcycle........., others were doing it on the super Kajiado/Namanga highway over the weekend during the 2011 edition of KCB Guru Nanak rally. I must say these motorbikes stole the show, the roaring sounds of the bikes and the adrenaline was enough action for me. One day, i look forward to seeing the likes of the super-charged HAYABUSA in a motoracing event in Kenya. ION - The Malaysian MotoGP Grand Prix was called off on Sunday (23rd October 2011) following a sickening accident involving 24-year-old Marco Simoncelli, who fell and was hit by Colin Edwards and Valentino Rossi. R.I.P SIMONCELLI!

No play back, no CD’s! yet the artists managed to extremely enchant their fans at the grand Safaricom Kenya Live concert held at the Nyayo Stadium. I was amazed at how well the musicians were able to connect with the band to deliver an electrifying performance. Despite my cameras almost running out of charge, I managed to freeze several moments of this truly World Class event. Lets take a look below and Keep it Live.

Stills photography does something that no other medium can do….., it freezes a moment….., it stops time! Last night I had a chance to freeze a few frames despite challenges of low lighting. Bez an alternative soul musician from Lagos, Nigeria, whose sound is an interesting hybrid of soul, jazz & R&B was in town at the Safaricom Michael Joseph centre where the Jazz fusion jam session was going down alongside Sarah Mitaru and crew.
