The Festival will be three days of performances by local and international talent including MC's, Breakdancers, DJ's and Graffiti artists.

There will be workshops and tutorials teaching participants how to rap, breakdance and give insight into the history of Graffiti culture and its significance today. It will be a base camp for community forums discussing youth activism, women's rights, Indigenous struggle, Hip Hop's rise to an international stage and its growth alongside the movement for peace, equality and social justice. It will be showcasing some of the freshest artists in Hip Hop culture today, and most importantly it will once again be free and all ages!"

Wet Ape Productions (the company who produced this year's wicked Center of Gravity 2010 sports & music festival) are proud to present Emerson Drive live in concert in Kelowna, BC on September 18th. This special performance will take place at Kelowna's Waterfront Amphitheatre from 6pm - 10pm following the annual Dragon Boat Festival.

The concert is all-ages and features the Molson Canadian Beverage Garden for the rest of us.

CONSPIRITUALITY PERFORMING AT ELECTRIC MOUNTAIN MUSIC FESTIVAL

BC based hip-hop group Conspirituality has been confirmed to perform at this year's Electric Mountain Music Festival taking place in Merritt, BC on Saturday September 4th and 5th. Conspirituality recently completed a tour of Northern BC (Quesnel, Prince George and Smithers) with Sweatshop Union.

The group's music video for "AmBushed" was recently added to the Experimental Film section of Chris Everard's The Enigma Channel website. Chris Everard is a leading resource, film director, and author of material covering the occult, paranormal research, geo-political conspiracies, medieval history, and space programs (to name a few). Although there is a small yearly fee to access the website, it hosts a great resource of multimedia on the subjects.

"AMAZON FALLS" BY DIRECTOR KATRIN BOWEN TO DEBUT AT TIFF 2010

Canadian independent film and television director Katrin Bowen, on behalf of the cast and crew, is proud to have her first feature film "Amazon Falls" accepted into the Toronto International Film Festival 2010!! Amazon Falls has been chosen as one of 6 films in the Canada First! programme - a selection of compelling stories from Canadian film talent - and will have it's worldwide debut at TIFF this year.

The film has been submitted to several film festivals internationally, and since it is an independent production created on a limited budget and crewed by tireless volunteers, is raising money necessary to send the filmmakers to as many of the festivals that it is accepted in. Amazon Falls tells the tale of a struggling actress named Jana (played by April Telek), who delves into the high-stakes world of keeping up appearances in order to make it big in Los Angeles, and crafts an intense look at dream-chasers living on the margins of Hollywood. Amazon Falls also features Vancouver's own DJ Zak Santiago as Aron and X-Files' Tom Braidwood & William B. Davis (aka Smoking Man).

INDELIBLE RELEASES MUSIC VIDEO FOR "GETS ME HIGH" FT. BLAMING TAYLOR

Indelible, one of the power groups out of Paranoyd Sound Studios, has just released their latest music video for "Gets Me High" ft. Blaming Taylor, the first single off their upcoming album "Our Present Future".

Once again, Indelible has teamed up with the incredibly talented video director Stuey Kubrick (they have done at least 2 other music vids together, check the Indelible Youtube) and shot the vid on the BC coastline.

Heatwave is part of the Killawatt Records team and is hugely active in the Vancouver entertainment community. Aside from his music and video releases, Heatwave's other notables include hosting the Heatwave Classic, an annual youth basketball tournament & music event, as well as touring local highschools with fellow artists, speaking to and performing for the students.

CUSTOM AIRBRUSHED M.E.D.S. T-SHIRT BY FLUKE

While exhibiting at Center of Gravity in Kelowna BC this August long weekend (July 30 - August 1st), M.E.D.S. was lucky enough to catch up with an incredibly talented graffiti artist from Montreal, Canada by the name of "Fluke". He was part of the Bud Light Lime exhibitor area of the festival, where the Bud Light models instructed attendees of the festival on how to win all kinds of free giveaways. One of those ways was to compete in a friendly relay race, and the winner would be able to claim a custom, one of a kind airbrushed t-shirt featuring the masterful artwork of Fluke. So we put a team together, did what needed to be done, and claimed our prize!
