To be a complete Jeet kune do practitioner,you have to be able to strike and kick from all angles, and with either hand ( and leg ) to take advantage of the moment. Some of the better Jeet kune do men are most unorthodox.&lt;br /&gt;
In striking, the momentum of the waist and legs, the motivation and the intrinsic energy must also be added;the hands are employed only as means to put it through - &lt;i&gt;&lt;b&gt;&lt;span style="font-size: x-small;"&gt;Bruce Lee( Jeet kune do -edited by J. &lt;span style="font-size: small;"&gt;n the 1970's an Australian student of Goju Ryu Karate,  developed a Free style of Karate, which contains elements of a variety  of other martial arts including Muay Thai. &lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;span style="font-size: small;"&gt;In  2009 Peter A. Robertson, a Freestyle Karate Black Belt, who had  previously studied Shotokan,Shu Ku Kai and Goju Ryu Karate, Judo, Wing  Chun, Tai Chi Chaun, Krav Maga, Capoiera, Silat, Muay Thai Kickboxing,  Taekwondo, and Close Quarters Combat opened the first Zen Do Ka school  in Singapore. &lt;br /&gt;
Not content to limit his classes to a single style,  Sensei Peter combined all his training in the various Martial Arts he  has studied and founded Zen Do Ka Freestyle Karate &amp;amp; Kickboxing  which concentrates more on Muay Thai and Kung Fu Techniques. &lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;div align="center"&gt;&lt;span style="font-size: small;"&gt;&lt;i&gt;The Japanese word Zen means "meditation" Do means path, Ka is the spirit on the path.&lt;br /&gt;
A  Zendoka is a spirit on the path of enlightenment. Many travel, some  finish. The question is "does such destination exist, or is the path the  destination?" &lt;/i&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;i&gt;&lt;/i&gt;&lt;span style="font-size: small;"&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;

Realistic self defense comes from spontaneous reactions, based on solid foundations of the basic human kinetics principle. &lt;/span&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div class="MsoNormal"&gt;&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div class="MsoNormal"&gt;&lt;span style="font-size: 11pt;"&gt;One good concept for realistic self defense is the principle of non resistance, and the integration of a counter attack as your defense. When an attacker executes a strike whether a kick/punch/grab , you don’t block. You just move away from the line of attack and strike back at the same time. Facts should rule all self defense or fighting tactics. To be able to strike with power is to strike with explosion of the hip rotation, incorporation of body weight to the strike and the acceleration of the strike whether it is a kick or a punch. &lt;/span&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div class="MsoNormal"&gt;&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div class="MsoNormal"&gt;&lt;span style="font-size: 11pt;"&gt;Two most important part of realistic self defense training is timing and distancing. Practical training will teach you when to attack and how to close the striking distance. Distancing is affected by intention. Self defense techniques and strategies you need to developed are the punching, kicking range, close quarter, grappling, and various street weapons range.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div class="MsoNormal"&gt;&lt;span style="font-size: 11pt;"&gt;Possible weapons you will encounter on the streets are bladed weapon , broken bottle glass, base ball bat, improvised knife , and many more . &lt;/span&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div class="MsoNormal"&gt;&lt;br /&gt;

Those who say that the best kick in a street fight is a side kick to the groin or knee, should practice side kicks to knee or groin of a simulation target. The only way to learn if you’re doing it right is to practice with an unwilling partner, who would resist you. So I suggest you select a partner at your gym that you hate most and also hate you. For you to have a realistic experience as much as &amp;nbsp;possible. In realistic self defense the human body is your weapon and the body of the attacker is the opening and the target. Realism says there is no such thing as creating an opening for you to strike. One should concentrate on speeding himself up. Mobility and speed is what he should seek for and, in order to increase mobility and lighten his feet, he should get away from the classical flatfooted practice and get the slight crouch with weight on the balls of&amp;nbsp; his feet and feel the floor like a spring. this is to find firmness and balance and mobility.&lt;br /&gt;
The feet should be kept an easy and comfortable distance apart.&lt;br /&gt;
Vary the length and speed of your step to confuse the opponent.&lt;br /&gt;

The straight punch is the core of Jeet kune do, but should be reinforced and supported by other angle punches and kicks of like precision. &lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
The straight punch is executed like a western sword fencing without the sword.&lt;br /&gt;

Whenever striking with the right lead , it is important to sway ( snap ) slightly to left. The head should slip in the same direction&lt;br /&gt;

You cannot use your hands or legs effectively until your feet have put you in a position in which you can do so - the above video will show you how to train , so that you have speed on your feet, and you will be fast on your punch and kick.&lt;br /&gt;

A Classical footwork is unrealistic, stay on the balls of your feet and retain the spring ( as shown in the training video above )&lt;br /&gt;

&lt;i&gt;In the spin kick you will notice a very good lesson. When you try too much control the movement , You get too hung up on the execution, and therefore you become too tense and your execution is poor.&lt;/i&gt;&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;i&gt;However if, you are able to forget it , to relax -boom! - it will land right on the target ! When you ease the burden of your mind, you just do it.&lt;/i&gt;&lt;br /&gt;

Every attack you made should be penetrating, disturbing your opponent's rhythm and bringing pressure upon his morale. Remember though that your hand is not a hatchet to chop your opponent down. rather they are keys to unlock your opponent's defense, a different lock requires a different key - Bruce Lee&lt;br /&gt;

(1) Start with your hands held high on an on guard position&lt;br /&gt;
(2) Turn your body half around and head sharply to spot your target over your shoulder&lt;br /&gt;
(3) Chamber your knee to 45 degrees angle&lt;br /&gt;
(4) begin the execution of the kick , reaching your leg from 2:00 o' clock to full lock out position&lt;br /&gt;
(5) hitting with the face of the foot. At impact, tighten the area of contact.&lt;br /&gt;
(6) Chamber through to 10:00 o' clock, and return to the fighting stance.&lt;br /&gt;
Tips for a great kick: Think of your body as a whirlwind when executing this kick. Momentum is the key, as well as speed, and the full extension from 2:00 o clock to 10:00 o' clock.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;

In order to cope with what is, one must have the awareness and flexibility of styleless style. When I say " styleless style ", I mean a style that has the totality without partiality; in short, it is a circle without circumference where every conceivable line is included. Because, after all , an opponent is capable of throwing all lines and if one is partial only to dealing with the straight , then he will run into friction with just the right line that will screw up his straight line. The power of hook kick derives from the looseness of the delivery plus correct timing of feet and hip. Do not cock or "pull back",the foot before delivery. Of course , during the kick you should keep at least one of your hands in front of your body for better defense and quicker follow up.&lt;br /&gt;
