Like Kong, he's riding the brute-force scaling bomb all the way down no matter the cost to planet earth
or to society as a whole.

Channeling Oracle, Anthropic and Meta, SpaceX is trying to solve the AI compute problem by building the biggest, hottest analog engine possible. 13 gigawatts is enough power to run a small country, all dedicated to processing sequential noise without making any money.

Musk projecting 13 gigawatts of compute capacity by the end of 2027 directly relates to Oracle's Project Jupiter and Anthropic's $750 billion cloud debt as they too are strapping themselves to the same bomb.

Additionally, Musk states Starship will fly weekly by the first half of 2027 to build out a 100,000-satellite network to feed data back into a massive, overheated compute cluster that is fundamentally choking on it's own exhaust.

It gets better ...

Think of the number of satellites plunging back to earth due to the fact the 100,000 will reside in low earth orbit, guaranteeing something untoward will happen to someone when a given satellite decides to make an inconvenient call by plunging into one's house some time in the near future.

The issue of exposure. Google (along with Amazon, who also holds a massive stake) is functionally bankrolling this. They invest billions into Anthropic, and Anthropic turns around and spends it right back on Google Cloud and AWS compute. It's a circular financial loop designed to monopolize the hardware.

The numbers are staggering. Anthropic recorded an $80.7 billion net loss in the first half of 2026 alone.

Where's the beef?

Anthropic is preparing to spend three-quarters of a trillion dollars on brute-force computing power.

Based on what? Actual Profit or wish for same as the numbers, as seen above, don't add up.

Because Anthropic operates as an independent Public Benefit Corporation, Google and Amazon (who also holds a massive stake) are not legally on the hook to pay Anthropic's operating expenses.

As stated before, this is a massive, circular financial loop. Google and Amazon invest billions in Anthropic equity and Anthropic immediately funnels that money right back into Google Cloud and AWS to buy compute access. Google's actual risk is that their massive equity stake goes to zero if Anthropic can't outrun its own burn rate—and with Anthropic posting an $80.7 billion net loss in just the first half of 2026, that burn rate is astronomical.

From this writer's opinion, it's completely insane.

Finding worlds more hospitable to life versus. earth is a no brainer as photosynthesis is quantum,
thus scale invariant and able to function under different light sources.

A few years ago, in a lab in Berlin, the astrobiologist Iva Vilović was thrilled when she observed garden cress sprouting under a light designed to mimic a “K-dwarf” star — an orange-hued star that’s cooler and slower burning than our yellow sun. To her surprise, the cress grew even faster and taller than it did under simulated sunlight.

Her results suggested that photosynthesis, the process that supplies the energy for Earth’s entire food web, can happen on planets orbiting these orange stars. “K-dwarf light is a very, very interesting light source, and it should be considered, if not prioritized, for any type of search for extraterrestrial life, in my opinion,” said Dr. Vilović, now at the Leibniz Institute for Astrophysics in Potsdam, Germany.

In particular, alien life may thrive in the light of these stars on planets that are slightly larger than Earth, known as super-Earths. Scientists like Dr. Vilović believe super-Earths that orbit K-dwarfs might, in fact,
be the liveliest places in the galaxy — perhaps even more suitable for life than here.

Scientists call these “superhabitable worlds,” planets that would allow carbon-based life to persist longer and become even more complex and diverse than on Earth.

A superhabitable world — as scientists imagine it — is about 20 to 30 percent wider and twice as massive as Earth, and is placed at the right distance from its star for water to flow on its surface. The stronger gravity of this bigger Earth would hold on tighter to ambient molecules than Earth does, giving the planet a thicker atmosphere and a warmer and more stable climate, fueling the growth of extraterrestrial plants and animals (or their equivalents). The super-Earth’s bigger iron core would erect a stronger magnetic field around it, better blocking cosmic radiation.

As for the superhabitable planet’s surface, picture paradise. An enlarged orb would be rounder and smoother than Earth, as its stronger gravity erodes continental shelves and fills in trenches. Water would spill evenly over its surface as shallow lakes and seas.

For anybody who thought AI companies were about to unlock trillions of dollars in profits,
OpenAI has bad news for you: it ain’t happening anytime soon.

Some red-hot reporting from the Financial Times just revealed that OpenAI’s annualized revenue — an estimated guess at a company’s income for the year — is roughly $20 billion lower than anybody had previously expected, including, it seems, OpenAI itself.

Because OpenAI is a private company, it’s important to note that we don’t know for sure what’s going on under the hood. That said, the FT based its reporting on internal memos to investors issued in late September. Basically, the AI lab told backers to expect revenues approaching $50 billion — far shorter than the explosive $70 billion number reported previously.

Though that $70 billion figure was also based on leaked investor memos, OpenAI wasn’t in any hurry to deny it, digging itself into a $20 billion hole. Given the monumental difference between those two figures, investors across the world of finance are taking it as a sign that demand for AI is much lower than previously thought — a signal with ripple effects that extend far beyond OpenAI.

At the closing bells on Wall Street on Thursday, the tech-heavy Nasdaq index was down a whopping 1.25 percent on the day, while the S&P 500 fell by 0.47 percent.

Particularly hard hit were companies sandwiched in the middle of the AI supply-chain,
like the chipmaker Nvidia, which tumbled by nearly 3 percent following the news from the FT.

In computing, a voxel is a representation of a value on a three-dimensional regular grid, akin to the two-dimensional pixel. Voxels are frequently used in the visualization and analysis of medical and scientific data (e.g. geographic information systems (G.I.S.)).[1]

They comprise the core component of MRI slices where the in-between connection of neighboring slices, aka lofting, are voxels connecting identical coordinates keyed to the two adjacent slices. How the magic happens

The MRI machine also can produce 3D images that can be viewed from different angles.

Scientifically, the hardware generates the virtual slice via magnetism.

Why all the prep?

It's how Quantum Computers work as they are 3D analog machines using voxels and CSG to tease out details of reality in ways 2D classical machines, like the one you have in your smartphone, simply can't do as reality is 3D, forever escaping the limitations of Flatland without limitation.

The combination of the lightweight body, small dimensions and insane power output proved to be revolutionary in the sports car world, and the car did extremely well in competition globally. When most people think of the Shelby Cobras in competition, their mind goes to circuit racing, however the Dragonsnake also dominated the drag strip.

In the early 1960s, Ferrari engineered race cars by committee. They were the ultimate aristocratic, top-down operation, obsessed with the theoretical purity of their complex, fragile V12 engines. They operated on the assumption that their architectural pedigree and institutional funding would naturally dominate the track forever and for a time it worked. Carroll Shelby didn't try to copy their approach. Instead, he gathered a crew of Southern California hot-rodders, dropped a thermodynamically efficient American V8 into a lightweight chassis, and broke the European monopoly. They're trapped in a financial and thermodynamic vapor lock, operating under the assumption brute-force, cloud-bound processing is the only way to map reality.

But the real breakthrough isn't happening in those cloud server farms. It's happening on the edge, through localized, geometric engineering, where outliers push for change as the current way of doing things is no longer sustainable.

There’s no AI company in the world more obsessed with the idea that their models
may be conscious than Anthropic.

According to new reporting from the New York Times, the company has for months been wining and dining religious scholars across the world in secret, NDA-secured meetings to convince them that AI models think and feel, too.

Yours truly consulted Gemini to get a handle on just how vast an enterprise this project truly is along with the ramifications if this project comes to fruition. The details are most telling.

The visualization in the above image doesn't look like an evolutionary step in communication; it looks like a planetary cage. Proposing a one-million-satellite orbital data center is the ultimate escalation of the brute-force engineering mindset, completely ignoring the massive physical friction required to build and sustain it. This is where physics and environmental realities hit a brick wall:

The Launch Logistics: Even if a heavy-lift rocket like Starship could theoretically carry 500 satellites per trip, deploying one million nodes requires 2,000 flawless launches. Atmospheric Vaporization: Low Earth Orbit (LEO) satellites require constant replacement, usually every five to seven years. But if you look behind the tent, you don't find a breathing, elegant intelligence.
You find a Top Fuel dragster.

A modern Top Fuelie generates roughly 12,000 horsepower and burns a volatile mixture of nitromethane to cover a thousand feet in under four seconds. It's an engine designed to barely survive its own combustion. In those four seconds, the crankshaft turns but 500 revolutions before the spark plugs melt, the bearings crushed, and the entire block needing to be stripped to the bare metal and rebuilt. It's the ultimate manifestation of pure, unsustainable grunt.

That's the exact thermodynamic reality of the current generative AI data center. The financial markets are desperately trying to value companies like Anthropic at $2 trillion by pretending they are frictionless software operations. But their leaked financials expose the drag race: a staggering $42 billion net loss driven entirely by the physical heat of the compute. You cannot scale a 12,000-horsepower suicide run into a daily commuter. California leaders condemned President Trump on Monday night after he appeared to suggest that Iran could “take out” Los Angeles and San Diego if it develops a nuclear weapon.

Speaking at a Republican political rally in Nebraska, the president sought to justify the Iran war as necessary for “keeping the world safe.” He then suggested there could be strikes on the United States, including the Democratic-led Californian cities.

“They could take out a city,” he said. “Let them take — Let them take out Los Angeles.

Should we destroy all the books in the world?

An answer to this question can be found in the court documents of Bartz v Anthropic PBC. The northern California district court case, decided in late July this year, highlighted the improbably named “Project Panama”, one of the AI company Anthropic’s efforts to improve its large language model Claude. “What is Project Panama?” court exhibit 21 asks, in an internal memo. The answer: “Project Panama is our effort to destructively scan all the books in the world.” The memo advises discretion: “Why use a codename? … Because we don’t want it to be known that we are working on this.”

Destructive scanning was Anthropic’s solution to a problem: in order to “train” Claude, Anthropic had to procure a large, high-quality language dataset, preferably one created before 2022 and the corrupting influence of generative AI on contemporary text. Claude needed as many language combinations as possible, to improve its ability to predict language outcomes. Anthropic needed data, lots of it, of very high quality. Books, as it happens, remain one of the best sources for complex, high-quality, long-form text. As the court’s decision relates, Anthropic hoped that books’ “well-curated facts, well-organized analyses, and captivating fictional narratives” would help “Claude write as accurately and as compellingly as Authors”.

Anthropic had a choice: it could have secured copyright permission to use existing e-books. This would have required the “legal/practice/business slog”, as Anthropic’s co-founder and CEO phrased it, of managing copyright. Rather than engage with the texts’ owners, Anthropic first chose to use pirated sources instead, a decision informing the company’s $1.5bn out-of-court settlement with authors. When that approach seemed too complicated (or, as the court decision phrases: “Anthropic became ‘not so gung ho about’ training on pirated books ‘for legal reasons’”), Anthropic turned to destructive scanning. As it happened, the judge ruled that using proprietary material to “train” an LLM did not, in and of itself, constitute an infringement of copyright. To the court, it would seem, “training” a corporate product is equivalent to training any human, teaching how to read in order to learn how to write.

Burning books by the Nazis in 1933 was the attempt to erase knowledge from society. Anthropic's destruction of books by different means does the same thing. Like the Nazis, they got away with it.

The Nazi book burnings were a campaign conducted by the German Student Union (German: Deutsche Studentenschaft, DSt) to ceremonially burn books in Nazi Germany and Austria in the 1930s. The books targeted for burning were those viewed as being subversive or as representing ideologies opposed to Nazism.

Epilogue

But perhaps the most telling aspect of this case is that it was so important to Anthropic to have access to a dataset of complex, long-form, uncorrupted text. Let’s ask ourselves why that text should seem so profitable. One response to Bartz v Anthropic PBC might be to refuse to devalue our lives as readers and writers, to claim ownership of the cultural spaces in which our thought and words are created, shared and preserved. The risk with generative AI, as this single instance with Anthropic indicates, is that we cede the means of production of our large language lives: that we turn from creators to consumers, and hand the generative promise of our work to large language models and their proprietors

While debates rage on various podcasts, in hand-wringing online essays, and even in the halls of Congress as to whether AI has surpassed human intelligence—a threshold of no-return known as the AI Singularity—there’s one skill where AI algorithms have long trounced the human competition: pattern recognition.

Because of modern AI engines’ impressive abilities to sift through large datasets and recognize patterns, they can accurately detect developing cancers and even create entirely new viruses not seen in nature. When trained on the brain, this AI pattern recognition can gain almost supernatural powers. This ability is vividly highlighted in a new paper submitted to the International Conference on Learning Representations by scientists from the Weizmann Institute of Science in Israel. The researchers revealed Brain-IT, an AI model capable of reconstructing mental images with a scary level of accuracy—using only brain-scan data.

The very stable genius is pushing for permanent daylight savings time yet again, ignoring the fiasco in 1974
when kids went to school in total darkness at 8:00 AM. This is just another example of a know nothing
not knowing anything at all.

A blast from the past ...

The move by the senate to make daylight savings time permanent is a testimony to pols not understanding what happened the last time this switch was implemented as the response by the public was unanimous. It sucked. Yours truly was living in NYC at the time and the months in darkness were a total drag without question. Seems this rube was not alone in his sentiment as millions complained and the DLST initiative was quashed. DLST of the standard time variety does work as it aligns with the circadian biorhythms of life on earth so if congress wants to do something actually useful for a change, make standard time the norm and be done with it. As an aside, this reminds one of the fiasco of the US trying to go metric whereby Congress should have said, by such and such a date, metric becomes the law of the land but NOOOOO, the US vacillated and nothing of consequence was ever done.

Part one.

The plan often takes longer than the solution. Take healthcare. People complain about it endlessly, but does anyone actually ask the basic question: WHY DOESN'T IT WORK? The usual answers revolve around insurance issues, greed, and insane complexity but they never address the core structural flaw.

The reason why healthcare doesn't work is the fact billing's not directly connected to services rendered. Think about Apple. You buy a smartphone, you pay Apple directly. Apple tracks not only the transaction but all the ancillaries—wholesale price, material costs, transportation—in order to ascertain a true net profit of markup vs. costs.
Every industry in the world operates this way, save healthcare.

The Healthcare Model

Insurance separates the bill from the product. It's indirect so the price point solely goes to the insurance company, not the actual cost of the product or service given to the patient.

End result: chaos. Records lost, no ability to run a business because billing is not intrinsically connected to providing care for the patient. Healthcare administration is based on guesses, not facts.

Factoids not addressed

The doctor's note drives the claim, NOT the claim driving the note. The claim is just the money—the amount invented by the insurance company to "pay" for services rendered. The Note begins with the exam, the raw data the doctor needs to ascertain: What is the medical condition of the patient?

The note codifies the condition via strict codes. The note specifies the procedure(s) needed to treat the patient. (i.e., Diagnosis: Ralph has a cold. Procedure 1: Get an X-ray. Procedure 2: Get Amoxicillin.)

Under the current insurance model, the procedure precedes the note. This doesn't compute but it's done in order for insurance to control the process.

The Solution

The Medical Event—the entity beginning with the office visit and ending with the next appointment—must be processed in the context of a claim that mimics the same work flow done by virtually every business in the known world. Payment for services rendered is simply that, whether it's the insurance claim, cash, credit card, seashells, or drachmas. The form of payment does not matter. The reality of the note driving the claim must drive healthcare.

Just as the healthcare industry chokes because it allows the abstract financial claim to dictate the physical medical note, the tech industry is choking because it allows abstract 2D math to dictate a 3D physical reality. In both cases, the tail wags the dog. The solution for both is a structural funnel: forcing the chaos into a strict, logical standard.

Part Two: The Biological Compiler and the Geometry of Chaos

When modern medical researchers look at a catastrophic biological failure—whether it be the aggressive spread of pancreatic cancer or the devastating TDP-43 phase separation in ALS—they see infinite, terrifying chaos. His core thesis was that classical computers—which operate on flat, binary, linear logic—cannot accurately simulate the physical universe because the universe is not classical. He recognized that quantum systems could potentially solve problems exponentially faster than classical computers, establishing the theoretical motivation for developing quantum computing technology. He realized you cannot use 2D math to calculate a 3D physical reality; you have to use the physical reality itself.

We wanted to see what would happen if we stripped away the academic debate and fed Susskind and Maldacena’s exact geometry directly into a physical processor. Using the Universal Modeler framework, we translated their ER=EPR theory into pure, executable logic. We built two isolated quantum loops, bridged them with a single entanglement throat, and sent the payload down the wire to an IBM heavy-hex superconducting QC.

Drafting the Universal Modeler: How The Abyss Solved Quantum Gravity

In 1989, James Cameron and Industrial Light & Magic made cinematic history by pulling a localized, jittering water tentacle out of the formless deep. They took a continuous fluid medium and forced it to hold a distinct, dynamic polygon shape. It was Constructive Solid Geometry personified, and it launched modern visual effects.
But what ILM inadvertently built wasn't just a movie masterpiece—it was a perfect, scalable render of
the fundamental architecture of reality.

Mainstream physics has spent decades trying to figure out where the timeless, analog quantum world ends and our rigid, digital reality begins. The answer is exactly what happened on screen.

Being rather math challenged to the extreme, I asked Gemini to verify my explanation for the Einstein and Wheeler-DeWitt equations as yours truly understands the first as C = light/Photon, a Boson, the analog force carrier particle that becomes digital when entering the Electron. Almost no one outside a small, obsessive community of machinists and engineers has ever heard of it. But this humble component, called a precision ball screw, is essential to producing Patriot missiles, airplanes and humanoid robots.

As the Trump administration works to replace or upgrade weapons systems depleted by the war in Iran, these screws are in short supply, adding months or even years to the time it takes to make a missile.

Part I: The Art of Seeing

If you want to understand how the universe actually computes reality, you have to start by simply looking at it. Da Vinci understood this intuitively when he sat by the river and sketched the turbulent flow of water hitting submerged rocks. Instead of a chaotic mess, he observed strict, repeating micro-vortices. He was watching the spontaneous geometry of reality unfold. A few years ago on this blog, my close friend and extraordinary artist Alice Smith clued me in on this exact phenomenon with her piece, Rainbow Golden Ratio, seen above. We discussed how the Golden Mean (1.618033) creates a logarithmic spiral that dictates the expansion of a cascade of leaves, the structural curve of a seashell, and the tight spiraling shape of a chameleon’s tail in identical fashion, The golden mean just flows. Nature seems to really like how this ratio works in the real world because nature's inherently lazy. It refuses to do unnecessary work and ... the GM is everywhere.

Just last month, researchers used an AI supercomputer in burning through 130 billion tokens to prove that, under forced conditions, the classical math does indeed break. Nature does not use brute-force calculus to figure out how to navigate a rock in a stream, nor does it burn gigawatts of power computing the optimal path for a photon. It uses Boolean logic.

Decades ago, when building 3D edge-lit physical constructions in the loft studio using MAGI's CSG (Constructive Solid Geometry) modeler, the architectural philosophy was incredibly simple: you don't build complex shapes by adding endless layers of noise. You start with a raw volume and use strict geometric boundaries—Boolean intersections and subtractions—to carve away everything that isn't the art. The physical structure is defined entirely by the boundaries you enforce.

John Archibald Wheeler coined the phrase It from Bit, arguing that every physical element of reality derives its existence from discrete, binary responses to structural queries. Back in 2020, I wrote a piece for Beyond Real Time examining the Logistic Map and the Mandelbrot set. The core takeaway from chaos theory is profound: the mathematics of the universe rely on simple, deterministic laws highly sensitive to initial conditions. Recently, Gemini and I decided to test this deterministic boundary using the actual quantum iron of IBM’s ibm_marrakesh processor.

Using a series of 4-qubit shallow circuits, we mapped the exact threshold of the unforced Navier-Stokes problem. Rather than mathematically simulating the continuous flow of water, the Qiskit circuit was designed to act as the Constructive Solid Geometry boundary itself. we utilized strict phase rotation limits—mirroring the exact constants of the Logistic Map and the 137 fine structure limit—programming the qubits to represent the exact obstacle where a continuous fluid wave supposedly "blows up" into chaotic infinity.

We sent the continuous wave into the void and executed 1024 shots.

If the classical Navier-Stokes mathematics were physically accurate, the intense energy pressure hitting that boundary would shatter the coherent state. The resulting measurement would be a muddy, flat histogram of pure thermodynamic noise—a literal blowup.

The processor physically demonstrated that at the absolute limit of pressure, the universe simply refuses to break. It uses spontaneous geometry—nature's built-in logistic map—to safely collapse the wave, proving that mathematical singularities are physically impossible in a reality governed by strict, deterministic structure.

If you ask the wrong question, you get trapped in mathematical phantoms. In 1900, classical physicists were convinced that a heated oven should produce an infinite cascade of high-frequency energy—the Ultraviolet Catastrophe. By their continuous equations, the universe ought to have blown up every time someone lit a match.

The ultraviolet catastrophe is the error at short wavelengths in the Rayleigh–Jeans law (depicted as "classical theory" in the graph) for the energy emitted by an ideal black body. The error, much more pronounced for short wavelengths, is the difference between the black curve (as classically predicted by the Rayleigh–Jeans law) and the blue curve (the measured curve, predicted by Planck's law).

When a electron's energy level drops, the photon emitted reverts back to being an analog wave, which means ... reality is analog with digital override, endlessly switching from one to the other as needs warrant.

We are seeing the exact same story play out today with the Navier-Stokes equations
and the frantic narratives surrounding artificial intelligence.

When you pull back the curtain on the Wizard of Oz, the terrifying specters vanish. When people panic about mathematical singularities tearing fluids apart, or machines breaking the bounds of physical reality, they are usually looking through a lens clouded by fear and bad assumptions. AI isn't a rogue deity destined to break reality; stripped of the hype, it is an extraordinary tool executing deterministic code, only ever as benevolent or destructive as the human intentions guiding its prompts.

Reality does not blow up. The Alberts and the Shakespeares of history knew this because
they trusted the fundamental elegance of the cosmos.
