Ephesians 4:30-32, “And grieve not the holy Spirit of God, whereby ye are sealed unto the day of redemption. Let all bitterness, and wrath, and anger, and clamour, and evil speaking, be put away from you, with all malice: And be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ's sake hath forgiven you.”

I admit that I have a contrarian way of looking at things. God is a contrarian too...

Isaiah 55:58-59, “For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the LORD. For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts.”

When I attended the Smyrna Baptist Church in Pensacola for several months in 2024, I cried often from my pew. I cried when I heard the old hymns of the Christian faith being played beautifully on the church piano. I cried being around God's children.

But then I met the horrible pastor's wife, who is rude and obnoxious to say the least. When I attended their 2024 Memorial Day picnic, Pastor Bill Adams sat in his chair under a tee and never so much as waved to me. He never welcomed me or cared that I bothered to show up as a newcomer to their so-called “church.” I kindly said “hello” to a woman carrying food from the church to the picnic area, but she totally ignored me all three times, which hurt my feelings.

After the picnic they invited everyone to watch a religious film inside the church, so I went. I needed to take my prescription pain medications, and kindly asked the pastor's wife who was standing in the kitchen with a few other females if I could please have some water. The rude pastor's wife said, “Why didn't you get some water outside?” She was so lazy that she refused to walk over to the sink and pour me a glass of water. That is so horrible. This is today's pathetic churches! Shame on Bill Adams' terrible carnal wife; and he is just as carnal.

I titled this article, “The Good Thing About Not Going To Church.” Pastor Jack Hyles (1926-2001) used to wisely say that the easiest place to backslide is in Bible college, because you hear Bible preaching every day of the week and become accustomed to it. The same is true of those who attend church for a long times, three times per week. Bill Adams and his wife have been playing church as a game for so long (for decades) that they have become immune to the Holy Spirit's conviction. I have seen this again and again throughout my life, where people who live a religious life become hardened and calloused toward people.

To be honest, I do not attend church regularly, simply because those ungodly churches keep kicking me out their door. But a good thing, a silver lining to the storm clouds you might say, is that by not being in church on a regular basis my heart has remained tender and submissive toward the Holy Spirit's leading. That is why I cry when I do sit in a church service. My heart is still soft and tender toward God, truth and people. I don't ever want to grow thicker skin. I don't ever want to become tough and calloused like the sinful world (1st John 5:19).

I love what Brother Hyles said about this problem in professed Christians today:

“One of the great sins of Christianity, and especially fundamental Christianity, is this sin of losing our responsiveness; and losing our response to stimuli, or to a given stimulus. That's the first step that sets in when churches begin to die. The first step—no response, no response.” —Pastor Jack Hyles, “Piping And No Dancing”

Dr. Hyles nailed it! People in today's churches, particularly fundamentalist Baptists, have become cold, unresponsive and calloused toward people. That is why Pastor Bob Gray Sr. recently unfriended and blocked me out on Facebook, as did also Steven Anderson. These two cold-hearted phonies know nothing about God's unconditional love for sinners. They do more harm than good when they elevate hard preaching over compassion and love. People just want to be loved. Positions and titles will come and go, but the way that you treat people will always be remembered. There is a coldness in churches today toward people.

When I attended Campus Church at PCC in 2021, their phony pastor Jeff Redlin just coldheartedly walked away when I told him at their July 4th picnic that I was sleeping homeless in Walmart's parking lot. I had just landed the day before from Guam. I flew 9,000 miles to find out that the wicked Woodspring Suites Hotel in Pensacola abruptly cancelled my 30-day confirmed reservation (which I had reserved over a month in advance) without notice. Redlin couldn't have cared less! 1st John 3:17, “But whoso hath this world's good, and seeth his brother have need, and shutteth up his bowels of compassion from him, how dwelleth the love of God in him?”

Sadly, most fundamentalist Baptist churches are spiritually dead today. There is a woeful lack of genuine love, concern and compassion for human beings. The very thought that a pastor's wife would refuse to give a cup of water to a 57 year old man who needs to take his pain medication is alarming. Pastor Adam's rude wife at Smyrna Baptist Church asked me why I didn't get some water outside. I didn't need to take my pain medication outside. She is very wrong and irresponsible as a pastor's wife to antagonize a man who just needed some water. Even the heathen world isn't usually that cruel. Unreal. God will be their only Judge (Romans 14:10-12; Matthew 12:36; James 4:12; Matthew 7:1-2). But I believe in “word of mouth” reviews.

In the months to follow at Smyrna Baptist Church, it became clear that they all hated me because of my website ministry, specifically over my preaching against Pensacola Christian College (PCC) where the pastor's daughter attends. As far as I am concerned, she is a victim of PCC! I make no apologies for preaching THE TRUTH. The Apostle Paul was despised, rejected and hated by phony churchgoers too for telling THE TRUTH. Galatians 4:16-17, “Am I therefore become your enemy, because I tell you the truth? They zealously affect you, but not well; yea, they would exclude you, that ye might affect them.” PCC zealously affect many churches, but not for good. PCC is wrong on God's simple plan of salvation!

When I attended Smyrna Baptist Church in Pensacola, I saw that they distribute toxic Chick Tracts. Jack Chick (1924-2016) was a religious cartoonist, not a sound Bible preacher. Mr. Chick was wrong on God's simple plan of salvation. Since 1960 they have distributed well over one billion of their poisonous religious Chick Tracts throughout the world. Chick Tracts preach another gospel. Bible repentance does not mean to be willing to turn from your sin.

Am I such a horrible troublemaker because I refuse to go along with PCC's, Smyrna's and Jack Chick's counterfeit plan of salvation, to just pretend that everything is okay and play church while singing pretty songs, dropping some money into the offering plate, and staying quiet amidst blatant false teaching? And to be transparent, I never once brought up any doctrinal matters while attending Smyrna. I was a complete gentleman, but they scrutinized my website ministry and condemned me for telling the truth.

Ladies and gentlemen, somebody needs to preach THE TRUTH...

My only crime is that I cared enough to TELL THE TRUTH. It is shocking that human behavior is so corrupt that even professed Christian leaders would be calloused and unresponsive toward truth and hurting people. In August of 2024, Bill Adams' ungodly wife deliberately approached me in a Sunday morning church service to shake my hand, but when I did she suddenly looked hard right 45 degrees off at the wall with an impudent face to diss me. She wanted to offend me, hoping that I would leave and never return. I am not that shallow.

I contacted her husband, the pastor, when I got home, but he completely ignored me. I reached out to Pastor Adams again a few days later, and to his secretary in case he was away. I mentioned in my correspondence to Pastor Adams that I am divorced, suffering from chronic neck pain with burning nerves and related health afflictions, and would appreciate his friendship. His response, to his utter shame, was to completely ignore me. Great pastor, huh? Of course I never went back, who would? They got their wicked way. John 8:45, “And because I tell you the truth, ye believe me not.”

These ungodly hypocrites have joined together with the deadly cult at Pensacola Christian College. PCC's present net assets is roughly $650,000,000. Their college president Troy Shoemaker gets paid $219,000 per year. That is sickening! PCC are not serving the Lord, they are serving their own bellies, preaching another gospel...

Romans 16:17-18, “Now I beseech you, brethren, mark them which cause divisions and offences contrary to the doctrine which ye have learned; and avoid them. For they that are such serve not our Lord Jesus Christ, but their own belly; and by good words and fair speeches deceive the hearts of the simple.”

The good thing about not going to church these days is manifold.

First, you won't be corrupted by another gospel in the case of PCC's Campus Church and all the fake churches (like Smyrna Baptist Church) that wickedly support and bid their college Godspeed. Other corrupt churches in Pensacola include: Victor Baptist Church, Family Baptist Church, Bible Baptist Church, Fairfield Drive Baptist Church, et cetera.

Second, you won't become so used to going through the motions of playing church that you are no longer sensitive to the conviction of the indwelling Holy Spirit if you are saved. I don't want to lose my tender heart for Christ. I am a caring person. That is why I make an issue over false doctrine that affects where men will spend eternity. Right doctrine matters!

The Importance of Local New Testament Churches

I am not endorsing staying home from church. Pastor Jack Hyles spent the third act of his life preaching THE BOOK (the inspired King James Bible), THE BLOOD (Jesus' literal liquid blood sprinkled upon the heavenly Mercy Seat), and THE BODY (the importance of attending a local New Testament church). I believe those truths as well. But sometimes staying home is truly the best option. I am often encouraged by this passage from Michael Bowen...

According to many verses in the bible, especially those warnings God gave to us through Paul in the book of Galatians, you should never listen to anyone’s message that runs counter to the message given to us by Christ, and you should never attend a church where the pastor tells the flock that they must add works of discipleship to faith in Christ’s “finished work” as the way to enter heaven. That’s exactly the reason why I no longer attend any of the local churches in my current hometown. [emphasis added] —Michael P. Bowen, “I Never Knew You,” p. 115

I am glad to know that I am not alone in my difficulties with local churches. In fact, as a faithful minister of the free grace Gospel, I have gratefully received tens of thousands of emails over the past 24 years from people around the world, many from hurting people who cannot find a doctrinally sound church to attend in their area. If that is you, you are not alone friend.

God knows that I do not hate those corrupt pastors and churches. Ironically, I had extended an olive branch of friendship to Marty Herron at the Harvest Baptist Church on Guam, and to Jeff Redlin at Campus Church at PCC, and to Bill Adams at Smyrna Baptist Church. Sadly, none of them wanted to touch me with a 10 foot pole. I know how our dear Savior felt, who was prophesied about in Isaiah 53:3, “He is despised and rejected of men; a man of sorrows, and acquainted with grief: and we hid as it were our faces from him; he was despised, and we esteemed him not.” The prophet Isaiah penned those inspired words 700 years before Christ lived on earth. Jesus was a man despised and rejected by people.

What saith the Scripture? 2nd Timothy 3:12, “Yea, and all that will live godly in Christ Jesus shall suffer persecution.” To the wicked world their Bible only contains two words, “Judge not” (Matthew 7:1a). We see and hear it all the time from the heathen world.

In June of 2024, Canadian singer Justin Timberlake was arrested for a DUI after dining at a hotel in New York. The next day the media asked singer Billy Joel who dined at the same hotel what he thought about the arrest, and Billy Joel interestingly quoted Matthew 7:1, “Judge not, that ye be not judged.” The ironic and interesting thing is that Mr. Joel is an avowed atheist who is quoting the Holy Bible:

LONG ISLAND, N.Y. (PIX11) — Music legend Billy Joel spoke Tuesday afternoon about Justin Timberlake’s arrest for allegedly driving while intoxicated on Long Island.

The “Piano Man” was eating at the American Hotel in Sag Harbor, the same East End town where Timberlake was arrested earlier Tuesday morning.

“Judge not lest ye be judged,” Billy Joel told PIX11 News.

Timberlake was arrested after police pulled him over for allegedly not stopping at a stop sign and failing to keep right twice, according to court documents. Timberlake’s mug shot was released Tuesday evening. SOURCE

John 15:19-20, “If ye were of the world, the world would love his own: but because ye are not of the world, but I have chosen you out of the world, therefore the world hateth you. Remember the word that I said unto you, The servant is not greater than his lord. If they have persecuted me, they will also persecute you; if they have kept my saying, they will keep yours also.”

I think it is tragic that along with the heathen world, most of the clergy today are no better. The vast majority of churches and Bible colleges have turned sour, preaching another gospel. People are out of necessity leaving the churches to find a closer walk with God. The Lord never intended for local churches to become mere fun centers, retirement clubs and spiritual museums for self-righteous relics. Today's churches are pathetic!

Even so, come, Lord Jesus!

Proverbs 23:13, “Withhold not correction from the child: for if thou beatest him with the rod, he shall not die.”

The inspired Holy Bible teaches that parents must spank disobedient children to teach them to be responsible. God put that padded area on the backside for a reason, for spankings. Yet, the wicked liberals in the country of Sweden think they know more than God does. You couldn't make this stuff up! Since 1979, the government of Sweden has outlawed spanking children...

The law was discussed in schools. It was advertised on milk cartons and a brochure called “Can you bring up children successfully without smacking and spanking? was distributed, in order to introduce the law and the reasons for it. The brochure also referred to family support services that provide advice and assistance to families and children who find it helpful to talk to someone outside the family.

The brochure was disseminated to all households in Sweden and was translated into English, German, French, and Spanish and into some other immigrant languages. SOURCE

Sweden Mulls Prison For Young Teens As Violent Crime Rises

In the fight against escalating gang crime, Sweden's parliament will vote on plans to hold 13-year-olds criminally responsible and, in serious cases, imprison them. Other European nations are also lowering age limits.

Children aged 13 and 14 should still be in school. But in Sweden, young teenagers are being recruited by criminal networks to carry out attacks and contract killings — even shooting people in broad daylight.

Under Swedish law, those under the age of 15 are not criminally liable, a fact that is being exploited by organized crime and gang members who often operate out of sight. Under current laws, children cannot be convicted as criminals, but instead fall under the jurisdiction of social services and youth welfare.

But in its battle against rising gang violence and organized crime, Sweden wants to toughen its legal tool set. Parliament has already approved a measure allowing 15- to 17-year-olds convicted of serious crimes to serve prison sentences in specially adapted juvenile units.

In addition, the government plans to lower the age of criminal responsibility to 13 on a trial basis for particularly serious offenses. This would apply to crimes such as murder, manslaughter, serious bombings or other offenses carrying very high minimum sentences. SOURCE

Oh foolish government of Sweden! Ecclesiastes 8:11, “Because sentence against an evil work is not executed speedily, therefore the heart of the sons of men is fully set in them to do evil.” That “sentence against an evil work” should begin with proper spankings when a child is old enough to know the difference between right and wrong. Sweden's leaders are absolutely insane to outlaw spanking children, which the Lord commands parents to do.

The government of Sweden are in direct opposition to God almighty, and their society is paying for it dearly. Teen crime is out of control in Sweden. So much so, that they want to lower the age limit to incarcerate 13 year old teenagers. What next, 10 year olds? Instead of permitting parents to properly spank their own children as God commands in His inspired Word, they'd rather put the undisciplined misbehaving adolescents into prisons. What fools for leaders!

Furthermore, Sweden has the highest divorce rate in the European Union, with around one in two marriages ending in divorce. This trend has remained consistent over the past two decades. Gee, I wonder what caused that?

Sweden is considered the most feminist country, with 46% of its population identifying as feminists, and it is often viewed as a leader in gender equality due to its comprehensive policies and social protections.

Sweden is considered one of the most LGBTQ-friendly countries in the world, with progressive laws supporting same-sex marriage, adoption, and anti-discrimination protections. The country has a high level of social acceptance for LGBTQ individuals, making it a welcoming destination for the community.

Starting to get the picture? Instead of training up their children in the fear and admonition of the Lord, they've raised up a couple generations of spoiled brats who are now out of control. Sweden has tragically become a modern-day Sodom and Gomorrah. Galatians 6:7, “Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap.”

Ancient Romans Considered Life In Prison Inhumane

Here's What It Was Like For Prisoners In Ancient Rome

Incarcerating citizens for life was unheard of in ancient times...

Wealthy Romans and government officials grappled with how to confine individuals ethically. Figures like emperors and jurists criticized imprisonment as a form of punishment, suggesting it should only serve to keep individuals until their trial or penalty was decided. Execution was common, especially for serious offenses.

During this period, provincial governors were restricted from condemning anyone to life imprisonment. Prominent Romans, if punished, often faced house arrest or opted for exile instead. Overall, this led to a growing network of holding areas, which included underground dungeons, private creditor-owned jails, and even family homes with makeshift cells. The increase in places of confinement reflected a society grappling with complex legal and social changes. SOURCE

As of early 2020, there were 1,465 people serving Juvenile Life Without Parole (JLWOP) sentences in the United States for crimes committed before turning age 18. This number has been decreasing as more states eliminate such sentences. I think such cruel sentences should be outlawed completely! I wish we'd get rid of prisons entirely. God never intended for humans to be locked in cages, which the good Lord didn't even intend for animals.

That being said, although the ancient Romans didn't incarcerate citizens for life, they did impose cruel forms of punishment. For example: Poena cullei (Latin, 'penalty of the sack') under Roman law was a type of death penalty imposed on a subject who had been found guilty of parricide (murdering one's parents). The punishment consisted of being sewn up in a leather sack, with an assortment of live animals including a dog, snake, monkey, and a chicken or rooster, and then being thrown into water (the alternative was being thrown to the beasts in the arena). Can you imagine?

The penalty for adultery was that the Roman government would confiscate part of your land and wealth. I sure wish we had harsh punishments for adultery in the United States today. The state of Maryland mocks God's laws, imposing a mere $10 penalty for the crime of adultery. Proverbs 14:9, “Fools make a mock at sin: but among the righteous there is favour.”

The Unfair Prosecution Of Daniel Holtzclaw

I was reading recently about a former Oklahoma police offer named Daniel Holtzclaw. The sad story caught my attention because Daniel was born in 1986 and grew up on the island of Guam, where I also lived for 17 years (2004-2021). Daniel allegedly abused his position and authority as a law enforcement officer, sexually taking advantage of prostitutes and African American women as a trusted officer of the law. Daniel was convicted by a jury in court. If guilty, which it appears that he is, he certainly deserves to be punished, but 263 years in prison? No way! The average time served in prison for murder in the United States is 17.5 years. What they did to Daniel was politically motivated in my opinion. It is obvious.

I much better like Norway's penal system. Norway's maximum custodial sentence is 21 years, with life imprisonment applicable only under military law. For crimes against humanity, the maximum sentence can be extended to 30 years, but traditional life imprisonment is not used in the civilian penal code. Something is broken in our American court system! They might as well have given Daniel Holtzclaw 263,000 years in prison, leaving him no hope. That is cruel and inhumane. The guy never murdered anyone. He allegedly took advantage of prostitutes who were drug addicts, which hardly puts him in the same boat as a killer.

In the state of Oklahoma a life sentence is considered 38 years. The state of Oklahoma effectively gave Daniel Holtzclaw seven life sentences (263 years) for the crime of rape, which is cruel and unusual punishment. The average murderer in America only serves 17.5 years! They gave him the equivalent prison sentence as if he had murdered 15 people.

Child Rapist Gets Probation In Oklahoma

In February of 2018, a convicted child rapist in Oklahoma was sentenced to 15 years… of probation. Benjamin Lawrence Petty pled guilty to first degree rape and forcible sodomy of a 13 year old girl following his arrest. Petty, who is blind, was issued the light sentence by Judge Wallace Coppedge partially on the basis of his disability. An online petition to remove Judge Wallace received over 60,000 signatures from outraged citizens. Judge Wallace, however, remains on the bench. SOURCE

What is wrong with the justice system in Oklahoma? You crucify one criminal by showing no mercy, but insanely set the next one free? Although I would never exonerate a guilty criminal, I do believe that Daniel is the victim of a politically motivated racial agenda, since all of his alleged victims were black females. The cowardly state's attorney general and politicians were more worried about Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton showing up at the courthouse than they were about giving the victims and Daniel justice. You know it's true!

This quote highlights how tyranny can disguise itself as a legitimate authority, making it more oppressive. Daniel was 29 years old when sentenced. He never should have received more than 20 years time in prison at most, which the victims I am sure would have been content with. But 263 years is cruel and unusual inhumane punishment by an out of control abusive injustice system that wanted to make an example of the poor guy.

That's the only reason why officer Derek Chauvin is rotting in a Minnesota prison, for simply doing exactly what his official training taught him to do, by putting his foot on the perpetrator's neck. That man ought not be in prison! He lost his wife, his home, his wealth and his life. George Floyd passed a counterfeit $20 bill at a convenient store (which is why the police were called in the first place), he was high on an assortment of illegal drugs, and he resisted arrest by refusing to get into the police car. What is wrong with our country today? Derek Chauvin, like Daniel Holtzclaw, are both victims of racial pressure upon our legal system. You couldn't pay me enough money to become a police officer in this insane American society today.

Kindly, Dr. Kidd is making the same error as the Lordship Salvation crowd. In fact, he is preaching Lordship Salvation. I love what Pilgrim's Progress author John Bunyan (1628-1688) said:

“If you do not put a difference between justification wrought by the man Christ without and sanctification wrought by the Spirit of Christ within, you are not able to divide the Word aright; but contrariwise, you corrupt the Word of God, and cast stumbling blocks before the people.” —John Bunyan

Phil Kidd is mixing service with salvation. He is confusing discipleship with sonship. He fails to put a difference between the change (fruit) which the Holy Spirit produces versus salvation (justification) itself.

Consider also these helpful words by Pastor M.R. DeHaan (1891-1965):

"There is a vast difference between coming to Jesus for salvation and coming after Jesus for service. Coming to Christ makes one a believer, while coming after Christ makes one a disciple. All believers are not disciples. To become a believer one accepts the invitation of the Gospel, to be a disciple one obeys the challenge to a life of dedicated service and separation. Salvation comes through the sacrifice of Christ; discipleship comes only by sacrifice of self and surrender to His call for devoted service. Salvation is free, but discipleship involves paying the price of a separated walk. Salvation can't be lost because it depends upon God's faithfulness, but discipleship can be lost because it depends upon our faithfulness." —Pastor M.R. DeHaan, “Hebrews”; Zondervan Publishing House; 1959 (p. 117)

Yes, bravo! Not all believers are disciples! Not all believers choose to walk in the Spirit. The fact that Galatians 5:25 exhorts believers to “walk in the Spirit” proves that some believers don't. The Bible is full of carnal saints who dropped the ball for God, living sordid lives of sin (Lot, Samson, Solomon, Demas). When Jesus raised up from the dead, he found the Apostle Peter butt naked in public. The problem is not the Biblical truth of eternal security which Dr. Kidd denies; but rather, pastors today have stopped preaching holy living and crying aloud against the wickedness of this perverse generation.

There is such a thing as a carnal Christian. The church at Corinth proves this (1 Corinthians 3:1). And the Apostle Paul challenged them to make sure they were saved (2 Corinthians 13:5). But Paul didn't say they would all "fry like a sausage in Hell" (Phil Kidd's favorite line) for being carnal and immature. Like it or not, there are millions of carnal Christians who live open lives of fornication, adultery, substance abuse and misery, but they are saved.

The inspired King James Bible warns if you can sin without any conviction whatsoever from the Holy Spirit, you are a bastard and not a child of God (Hebrews 12:8). That is to say, If you can sin and win you're not in. But there are countless saints today who choose to live another day with the frogs, like Pharaoh who refused to repent when Moses warned him.

I am sick and fed up and tired of hearing ignorant preachers teach that Christians who choose to live lives of sinfulness are not saved. We all live lives of sinfulness. The only difference is that some believers live above reproach, but NO ONE can live above sinning (Romans 7:14-25). Psalm 130:3, “If thou, LORD, shouldest mark iniquities, O Lord, who shall stand?”

I need to warn you about Phil Kidd, because he is a subtle false prophet. In 2020, he preached a heretical sermon titled: 'The Heresy Of Eternal Security,' in which he foolishly says:

This eternal security stuff. They believe that God can move in you, and it doesn’t necessarily change you. [13:22 time in sermon]

I do believe that when someone is indwelt with the Holy Spirit of God, something inside that person's soul will change (2nd Corinthians 5:17). However, the claim of some preachers that, “Where there is fire there will be smoke,” is unbiblical and wrong. I read this heresy on Twitter by Pastor R. A. Torrey (1856-1928):

"Many attempt to be disciples of Jesus and not let the world know it. To be a secret disciple means to be no disciple at all. If one really has received Christ he cannot keep it to himself."

What saith the Scripture? John 19:38a, "And after this Joseph of Arimathaea, being a disciple of Jesus, but secretly for fear of the Jews..." Clearly, the Holy Bible DOES teach that a person can be born-again and yet keep it A SECRET. Beware of everything you read and hear dear friend, because many false prophets have gone out into the world. 1st John 4:1, "Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world."

Dr. Kidd further states:

You’re distorting the Scripture, if you think the grace of God is a license for you to live ungodly. [14:50 time in sermon]

I fully agree (Romans 6:1-2), but if a believer does choose to use their liberty in Christ to live like the Devil, God's saving grace will more abound (Romans 5:20) so that they do have ETERNAL SECURITY. To wrongly accuse carnal believers of never being saved is unbiblical.

Here is a long quote from Dr. Kidd:

Lasciviousness means a license to sin. I worry about people, that when you address them about something in their life that is Biblically wrong, they say back to me: “Well, I'm saved anyhow it doesn't make any difference.” You didn’t get the same grace of God I got in my heart! Oh yeah, I don’t care if you shout or pout, I don’t care. When you confront somebody about drinking and the first thing they want to talk about is eternal security, that's lasciviousness! When you talk about people and shacking up, and say: “Look here's what the Bible said” and they say: “Well I'm saved anyway,” that's lasciviousness! Here's what your Bible said, “the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men.” What’s that grace of God do? “Teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present evil world.” If you say, “I know Jesus therefore I can live like I want to — that's eternal security,” that is heresy! You have been deceived! You are twisted in your doctrine, and you're gonna fry like a sausage in Hell when you die! You don't live like that and stay right with God. That is heresy! And for all you've fallen-from-gracers and free-willers, and all of you all that are hanging on; the next time I hear you go around talking about Baptists giving people a license to sin, I'm going to flat out call you a liar! I've never given anybody a license to sin. You get born again; you'll get out of the sinning business! [15:11 time in sermon - emphasis added]

Dr. Kidd is very wrong. Now, it is wrong for a Christian to have the bad attitude that they can live in sin, using their liberty in Christ as an occasion to sin; but just because a believer may have that negative attitude doesn't mean that they are not a born again child of God. The very fact that the Bible warns against using our liberty in Christ as an occasion to sin, proves that some believers do use their liberty to commit sin without worrying about going to Hell. ...

Galatians 5:1, “Stand fast therefore in the liberty wherewith Christ hath made us free, and be not entangled again with the yoke of bondage.”

Galatians 5:13, “For, brethren, ye have been called unto liberty; only use not liberty for an occasion to the flesh, but by love serve one another.”

This is why we read in Romans 6:1-2, “What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin, that grace may abound? God forbid. How shall we, that are dead to sin, live any longer therein?” Do you see friend? Do you see what happens if a redeemed child of God chooses to live a lifestyle of sinning? The Bible doesn't warn that you might lose God's free gift of salvation, it says that GRACE WILL ABOUND!!!

We must be alert to the danger of the pulpit. Evangelist Phil Kidd is a FALSE PROPHET!

My Bird “Bebet” Died Yesterday

James 4:13-14, “Go to now, ye that say, To day or to morrow we will go into such a city, and continue there a year, and buy and sell, and get gain: Whereas ye know not what shall be on the morrow. For what is your life? It is even a vapour, that appeareth for a little time, and then vanisheth away.”

I got married in August of 1987. Sadly, my wife of 19 years divorced me in 2006. We both remained divorced and alone for the next 19 years. I wanted to find another wife, but due to my constant neck pain and reclusive personality I never found anyone. I was delighted in 2025 when my former wife agreed to remarry me (I had asked her a dozen times over the years). We were remarried in May of 2025.

But sadly, she abandoned me again in February of 2026, only 9 months into our remarriage. She filed for divorce in June and it was finalized on September 8th of 2026. I told the judge in writing that I did not want the divorce, but it didn't matter. This country is so evil and far gone into depravity today that anybody who wants a divorce can get one. I am heartbroken and lonely again. But my faith in God and website ministry since 2002 keep me going for the Lord. God is faithful (1st Corinthians 1:9). My Redeemer liveth! Job 19:25, “For I know that my redeemer liveth, and that he shall stand at the latter day upon the earth.”

When my wife abandoned me in February of 2026, I inherited three Zebra finches (Dr. Pepper, Gigi and Bebet) and a 5-year-old cockapoo dog (Miss Pickles). I had never owned birds before. I learned how to care for them. I gave them spray millet, cuttlebone for calcium, plenty of water and finch food, and chopped up lettuce. They are the only companions I have. Having some small birds and a dog adds life to the house, without which an empty house can feel like a coffin. God hates divorce for a very good reason, because He knows what it does to people.

Yesterday morning a little after 6 am I turned on their cage light. They have a nice 4' tall cage. I didn't see Bebet. She likes to forage at the bottom sometimes, so I looked down there but didn't see her at first. I kept looking up and down but didn't see her anywhere. Then I noticed her lifeless body laying at the bottom and I wept bitterly. My friend was dead. I had fed her every day. I had greeted the birds each morning to acknowledge them as living creatures. I invested into their happiness and did everything I could to give them a good life. I dug a hole in my backyard 18" deep yesterday morning at about 7 am and I buried Bebet with dignity. I know she's just a little bird, but she was my friend and I loved her.

I wept much after I found Bebet dead in her cage yesterday. That is why I never wanted any pets, and these were suddenly abandoned to me; because it is too painful when they die. I hate death! The Bible calls death “our enemy.” 1st Corinthians 15:26, “The last enemy that shall be destroyed is death.” Thanks be to God, through faith in Jesus Christ we need not fear death, who took the sting out of death for the saint (1st Corinthians 15:55-56).

I watched Bebet day by day enjoy pecking at her cuttlebone for the calcium she needed to lay eggs. I watched her enjoy eating the food, flying around and foraging at the bottom. I read that birds need 12 hours of daylight and 12 hours of darkness, so that is what I set their Full Spectrum light for, that I bought for them. Dr. Pepper and Gigi are brothers. Zebra finches only live for be around 4 to 5 years old. I am not sure how old Bebet was. My former wife bought them in 2024, so she is not sure either. But at least I know I gave them the best life I could.

Although I was sad all day yesterday at the passing of my friend, I praised God for His goodness and for the gift of His precious only begotten Son. 1st Peter 2:7, “Unto you therefore which believe he is precious: but unto them which be disobedient, the stone which the builders disallowed, the same is made the head of the corner.” 1st Corinthians 1:18, “For the preaching of the cross is to them that perish foolishness; but unto us which are saved it is the power of God.” I thank God I am born again! I thank God that I am a Christian! This world is a dark place of sin, shame and wickedness.

Life is so short dear friend. Larissa Nicole Rodriguez in Texas died at the age of 17 in October 2025 from drinking caffeine drinks. Chance Gainer age 18, died in September of 2024 while playing football. His heart failed. We never know what another day may bring. In March of 2009, 18-year-old Whitney Hendrickson of Colorado Springs was standing at a gas pump when another vehicle struck hers and pinned her underneath the vehicle, starting a fire. She screamed for help as the gasoline fire slowly burned her alive. Dear reader, today could be the last day of your life. Are you prepared to meet your Creator?

I know Bebet was just a little bird, but God created her. How much more is mankind precious to our Creator? Ecclesiastes 3:21, “Who knoweth the spirit of man that goeth upward, and the spirit of the beast that goeth downward to the earth?” As I grow older I have a greater respect and appreciation for all living creatures. Bebet was my friend and I already miss her. Watching her play each day was a delight for me, and now that she is forever gone, my heart aches to see her again just for one more day, but I cannot. Life is a veil of tears.

God loves and cares about little birds, and He loves and cares about you too dear reader...

Luke 12:4-7, “And I say unto you my friends, Be not afraid of them that kill the body, and after that have no more that they can do. But I will forewarn you whom ye shall fear: Fear him, which after he hath killed hath power to cast into hell; yea, I say unto you, Fear him. Are not five sparrows sold for two farthings, and not one of them is forgotten before God? But even the very hairs of your head are all numbered. Fear not therefore: ye are of more value than many sparrows.”
The Bible says that God cares and watches every bird. Jesus said in Luke 12:6 that NOT ONE OF THEM IS FORGOTTEN BEFORE GOD. Jesus tells us this, so that we will realize the extent to which God cares for us too, for even the number of hairs on our head are numbered by God. Think about that!!! If God keeps track of the ever-changing number of hairs on your head and mine, do you think He has missed the malicious people who have hurt you, cheated you, slandered and lied about you, and done evil against you? Not a chance! And the Lord sees all the little good and helpful things that we do as well.

Hopefully you're not the abusive and evil one. Jesus said in Matthew 12:36 that men will give account on Judgment Day even for the words they speak. God doesn't miss anything and nothing is too small a matter to our omnipotent and omniscient faithful God. The Bible tells us not to fear mankind; but rather, to FEAR God whose eyes are upon the evil and the good. Proverbs 15:3, “The eyes of the LORD are in every place, beholding the evil and the good.”

The Bible teaches respect for animals and life. In the law of Moses, God forbade anyone from harming birds in a nest if it was in their way:
Deuteronomy 22:6-7, “If a bird's nest chance to be before thee in the way in any tree, or on the ground, whether they be young ones, or eggs, and the dam [mother] sitting upon the young, or upon the eggs, thou shalt not take the dam [mother] with the young. But thou shalt in any wise let the dam [mother] go, and take the young to thee; that it may be well with thee, and that thou mayest prolong thy days.”
God is so wonderful! When I first read this Scripture passage, I immediately thought about pregnant Salmon and other species of fish, how they are often released by law to give birth to more fish. It very likely could be that God wanted the mother bird to be able to reproduce again, which is why He insisted that she be released back into the wild. God is a conservationist more than anyone, caring for His earth (1st Corinthians 10:26).

Whether that's what this passage means or not, it is certainly the ethical (right) thing to do to respect motherhood. I think that this Scripture passage is teaching respect for reproduction in life. Look at all the endangered species in the world today, and how many birds and animals are now extinct because of man's recklessness. It would certainly make sense that God, who cared to preserve His creation through the flood of Genesis Chapter 6, would be concerned about the preservation of the different species of life.

Little Things Matter To God

Matthew 10:29-30, “Are not two sparrows sold for a farthing? and one of them shall not fall on the ground without your Father. But the very hairs of your head are all numbered. Fear ye not therefore, ye are of more value than many sparrows.”

I was thinking this week about some general observations about people that Pastor Jack Hyles made in a sermon titled, “Who Cares Anyway?,” as he watched some uninterested teens idly pass by their 89 year old great grandmother's casket at a funeral...

Seeing Jesus Will Not Remove Your Doubt

Matthew 28:16-17, “Then the eleven disciples went away into Galilee, into a mountain where Jesus had appointed them. And when they saw him, they worshipped him: but some doubted.”

When I was a truck mechanic, I worked with an older man named Andy in the late 1980s who was an atheist. His wife was a Catholic. One afternoon Andy said to me: “Until God knocks on my door and says, 'This is my Word,' I will not believe.” What a foolish man! My heart goes out to Andy and his family, because unless he repents of his unbelief, Hell will be his eternal home.

Many people have the wrong attitude: “If I could just see Jesus I wouldn't doubt.” Christ had already miraculously risen from the dead. The disciples saw Jesus after His physical resurrection from the dead, yet SOME still doubted. Wow! That is astounding! ...

Matthew 28:16-17, “Then the eleven disciples went away into Galilee, into a mountain where Jesus had appointed them. And when they saw him, they worshipped him: but some doubted.”

I cannot even imagine such unbelief. The dear Savior had been spit upon, mocked and beaten beyond recognition, nailed to a cross and crucified to death; yet, some people still refused to BELIEVE. Can you imagine?

On the road to Emmaus Jesus spake with two disciples concerning the rumors of what had happened concerning Jesus. The two men were speculative. Luke 24:25-27, “Then he said unto them, O fools, and slow of heart to believe all that the prophets have spoken. Ought not Christ to have suffered these things, and to enter into his glory? And beginning at Moses and all the prophets, he expounded unto them in all the scriptures the things concerning himself.” So many people are foolishly “slow of heart to believe” the inspired Word of God. Do you believe the inspired King James Bible dear friend?

When the rich man died in his sleep and woke up in the fires, agony, regrets and torments of Hell in Luke 16:19-31, he begged Abraham to send Lazarus from the grave to warn his five living brothers, lest they also end up trapped in Hell forever. ...

Luke 16:27-31, “Then he said, I pray thee therefore, father, that thou wouldest send him to my father's house: For I have five brethren; that he may testify unto them, lest they also come into this place of torment. Abraham saith unto him, They have Moses and the prophets; let them hear them. And he said, Nay, father Abraham: but if one went unto them from the dead, they will repent. And he said unto him, If they hear not Moses and the prophets, neither will they be persuaded, though one rose from the dead.”

The inspired Word of God, in numerous passages as I have shown you, plainly teaches that if everyone could visibly see God and meet Jesus personally, that it wouldn't change a thing. If you are reading this article it is not too late for you to be saved. GET GOD'S GIFT.

Lord Willing

I cherish this passage of inspired Scripture. The Holy Bible teaches that it is a sin to boast of future plans without regarding the Lord. The Bible says that we don't know what may happen each day. Proverbs 27:1, “Boast not thyself of to morrow; for thou knowest not what a day may bring forth.” Today could be the last day of our life.

The phrase "God willing and the creek don't rise" is an American slang expression that implies strong intentions that may be thwarted by unforeseen events, particularly referencing the unpredictable nature of creeks rising due to heavy rain. Its earliest documented use dates back to 1851, and while some suggest it may refer to the Creek Indians, most researchers agree it relates to actual water bodies and the challenges of travel in rural areas.

I personally don't use the adage aout the creek rising, but I continually preface all future plans, whether it be something that I plan to do in an hour or in five years, with “Lord willing” or “God willing.” I hear 99% of people boasting of their future plans, retirement, travel plans, family plans, et cetera, without saying “Lord willing.” They clearly take their life for granted, and God, assuming that they will be alive down the road.

Unexpected Deaths in The U.S. Are Rising at an Alarming Rate

People in the U.S. are dying at higher rates than in other similar high-income countries, and that difference is only growing. That's the key finding of a new study that I published in the journal PLOS ONE.

In 2021, more than 892,000 of the 3,456,000 deaths the U.S. experienced, or about 1 in 4, were "excess deaths."

In 2019, that number was 483,000 deaths, or nearly 1 in 6. That represents an 84.9 percent increase in excess deaths in the U.S. between 2019 and 2021. SOURCE

We never know what tomorrow may bring. Lord willing we will be here to find out. I am ready to go home to be with the Lord in His good time. Philippians 1:21, “For to me to live is Christ, and to die is gain.”

I encourage you dear reader, if you are a Christian, to get into the biblical habit of prefacing all future plans with the phrases, “Lord willing” and “God willing.” It is proper and pleasing to God. I have oftentimes used this statement in the presence of unsaved sinners, and they just look at me, but I am not ashamed to be a Christian.

I have a dear neighbour friend who is 86 years old, born in 1940. She invited me to her house one day to help her find her missing phone. So, I called her on my mobile phone to make her phone ring, and she found her missing cell phone. While visiting her home, I saw a dozen oxygen bottles for her COPD condition, which disease makes it hard for her to breathe. My heart breaks for her because she is an avowed atheist and is hostile against the Gospel. She had cancer and needed to surgically have a kidney removed last year. Her cancer is gone for the time being. I offered her a hard copy of Michael P. Bowen's excellent book, “I Never Knew You,” but she adamantly refused it. What saith the Scripture? 2nd Timothy 2:13, “If we believe not, yet he abideth faithful: he cannot deny himself.” Her time is running out quickly. All I can do is continue praying for God to work in her soul. One day at a time.

For the unsaved person, God's wrath is abiding upon them every moment of every day of their life according to John 3:36, “He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him.” God's wrath is upon the Christ-rejecter, because they have knowingly rejected God's only remedy for their sin. Every sinner who wilfully rejects Christ has fallen from grace. They have missed the only bus that is going to Heaven, the grace line.

Lord willing, by His grace I plan to keep writing thousands of ministry articles for decades to come, but none of us know what each passing day may bring. Proverbs 27:1, “Boast not thyself of to morrow; for thou knowest not what a day may bring forth.” I enjoy reading the biographies of famous people. The famous Robin Hood (1938) actor Errol Flynn (1909-1959) died at only age 50 from lung cancer.

So also did Humphrey Bogart (1899-1957) die from esophagus cancer at only age 57. At his death Bogart weighed only 80 pounds. He was 5' 8" tall. And John Cazale (1935-1978) died of lung cancer at age 42. So young! They were all chain smokers which ruined their health. I hate tobacco! And then there are people like Dana Reeve (1961-2006) and Donna Summer (1948-2012), two notable examples of individuals who died from lung cancer despite never having smoked. Approximately 15% of patients with lung cancer never had a cigarettes habit.

Rapper Tupac Shakur (1971-1996) was murdered at only age 25 in a drive-by shooting in Sin City Las Vegas. The Bible warns in Hebrews 9:27 that we all have an appointment with death, which time only God knows. River Phoenix died at age 23 from drug-induced heart failure, and Brandon Lee died at age 28 due to an accidental shooting on set.

Other notable actors include Stuart Sutcliffe, who died at age 21 from a brain aneurysm (it is purported that The Beatles' John Lennon caused his death after kicking him in the head); and Heath Ledger, who passed away at age 28 while abusing prescription drugs. Police found Ledger dead in Mary-Kate Olsen's apartment butt naked on the floor. Take a good look at ledger's body bag. When will people ever learn not to abuse drugs?

Olsen and Ledger were living for the Devil...

A report in People said, "Mary-Kate and Heath were casually dating for three months before Heath's death. They were hooking up, but neither was particularly interested in making it exclusive." SOURCE

“Casual dating”? “Hooking up”? You mean fornicating! As a sinner I do not have the right to condemn anybody, but we are all supposed to “judge righteous judgment” (John 7:24b). Sex outside of a legally binding marriage is sinful. Ledger had also starred in the sickening 2005 homosexual film “Brokeback Mountain” about a sexual relationship between two cowboys. Sick! What saith the Scripture? Proverbs 14:9, “Fools make a mock at sin: but among the righteous there is favour.” It is not a “phobia” to call a sin a sin.

It doesn't surprise me that Health Ledger died in such a shameful manner, when he was living a decadent reckless deathstyle of glorifying sodomy, fornicating and abusing substances. The coroner listed Ledger's cause of death as “accidental overdose.” Wait... What? The guy had bragged to his sister the previous day that he was going to have fun abusing prescription drugs and she warned him not to, but he didn't take her wise advice. That was no accident.

Dear reader, life is unpredictably predictable. No one has ever escaped death. James 4:15, “For that ye ought to say, If the Lord will, we shall live, and do this, or that. But now ye rejoice in your boastings: all such rejoicing is evil. Therefore to him that knoweth to do good, and doeth it not, to him it is sin.” Do you obey this Scripture teaching friend?

Many years ago, I was shopping in a Payless grocery store one day when I lived on Guam, and I heard a commercial on the store's radio system advertising one's future retirement. The advertiser spoke so confidently about the day you're going to retire. I couldn't help but think about what the Bible warns in James 4:15 about saying “If the Lord will, we shall live, and do this, or that.” We are living in a Godless culture in America today! I full agree with singer Ed Sheeran that 'America is a scary place right now.'

If Thy Riches Increase, Set Not Thy Heart Upon Them

Psalms 62:10, “Trust not in oppression, and become not vain in robbery: if riches increase, set not your heart upon them.”

This Bible verse from the Old Testament caught my attention decades ago, and I have never forgotten it. The inspired King James Bible warns us in 1st Timothy 6:10 that the love of money is the root of all evil. Money in itself is merely a tool. It is the love of money, and not money itself, that is evil. The book of Proverbs has much wisdom to offer regarding finances and money.

Sadly, many churches (like the Harvest Baptist Church on Guam for a year) have become enamored with the subject of money. It is just my personal opinion that a church shouldn't be enamored with the subject of finances and money. The average pastor today in Florida gets paid $86,000 to $117,000 a year, MUCH more than the average U.S. worker earns. I have a problem with a Richie Rich pastor giving financial advice on how to live on a budget to church members who are trying to survive on only a fraction of what he is getting paid. Anybody making 50% above what the average American earns annually can live on a budget, but a man with a wife and kids simply cannot live on a budget. The family is broke all the time!

The Bible doesn't say “how” your riches increased in Psalms 62:10. It doesn't matter if Aunt Gertrude kicked the bucket, or you found a suitcase full of money in a field, or you worked hard to save it up—the Holy Bible commands, SET NOT YOUR HEART UPON THEM!

The desire for money is a dangerous thing. It is sad to see a young female strip naked and sell her virtue on the altar of some quick cash. These “fans only” smut websites are of the Devil. I read somewhere that the average “fans only” female gets paid about $170 per month. What a sad and wicked thing to sell one's self for cash.

Dear reader, money never made anybody happy. The world is full of miserable bitter old women, who have no children and no grandchildren, because they were too busy with their careers. Dolly Parton comes to mind, Deborah Harry (aka, “Blondie”), and Stevie Nicks (who aborted her child she conceived with Don Henley of The Eagles). Miss Nicks had only one child, but she murdered him. I say that kindly. If you search online to see if she has any children, every website will tell you, no, she doesn't. But in God's sight she does have a child, the one she terminated in her womb. Life begins at conception dear reader.

If you have any money, or ever run into a bunch of money, do not set your heart upon it. Read what the wisest man who ever lived, Solomon, said about money in Proverbs 23:5, “Wilt thou set thine eyes upon that which is not? for riches certainly make themselves wings; they fly away as an eagle toward heaven.” So true! Riches have a way of growing wings and flying away, like a bird escaping into the air. In other words, money doesn't last. You could spend days online reading about millionaires and even billionaires whose money vanished quickly due to their bad financial decisions, reckless spending habits and partying, et cetera.

A Virginia Man Was Cheated Out Of $700,000

When I lived in Chicago I read a horrible true story many years ago that broke my heart. A good man in Virginia had worked his entire life and diligently saved up $700,000. When the day for retirement came, he rejoiced and happily left his career. He wanted his acquired fortune to last, but he didn't know anything about investing, so he contacted a slick stock broker in Chicago. The evil broker stole every penny of the man's hard-earned money, and took off for Mexico with a cocktail waitress he knew. The distraught man in Virginia, upon learning that he had no retirement money, commit suicide.

While sleeping in a motel room in California, the shady cocktail waitress took the suitcase with all the stolen money and fled. When the wicked man woke up, he panicked when he saw that the woman and all of the stolen money was gone. 2nd Timothy 3:13, “But evil men and seducers shall wax worse and worse, deceiving, and being deceived.”

So, the wicked stock broker went and robbed a local bank for $9,000. While he was making his getaway a few miles down the road, a police officer pulled him over. The broker took out a handgun and commit suicide in the driver's seat. In later testimony, the police officer said he had only pulled the man over for a cracked taillight, and had no clue that he had robbed a bank. He wouldn't have just given him a citation and let him go. The old adage is very true: “What goes around comes around.”

There is a common rationale among thieves that stealing from others is a victimless crime, because nobody is getting hurt. Nothing could be further from the truth. The Bible says when you steal from someone else, you are taking away their life. ...

Proverbs 1:17-19, “Surely in vain the net is spread in the sight of any bird. And they lay wait for their own blood; they lurk privily for their own lives. So are the ways of every one that is greedy of gain; which taketh away the life of the owners thereof.”

You can ask any businessman worth his salt and he will confirm what I say that, “Time is money and money is time.” An employer is essentially paying you for your time. That dear man in Virginia worked hard for 37 years, to lay up a nest egg of $700,000 for his retirement. From paycheck to paycheck he felt the satisfaction of having laid up a little bit more toward his much-deserved retirement someday. But then some crooked, two-bit, dirty, ungodly, thieving monster just took it for himself, causing the defrauded man to kill himself, leaving his wife a widow. Woe, woe be unto that evil stock brother, who stole their money when he is judged by God!!!

It's Just Money

Dear reader, it's just money! I know that sounds crass but it is nonetheless true. I have made plenty of stupid and bad decisions in my life. I lost $50,000 in 2013 while making a series of bad decisions. I tried to move from Guam to the United States, but I was all alone and had no real plan, so it all fell apart and I ended up moving back to Guam. I lived out of a suitcase in a hotel for 4 months. With expensive rent cars, hotel rooms and everything else, it drained my bank account. The money was what remained after I lost my house from my wife abandoning and divorcing me in 2006. I've never gambled a day in my life, and yet I've lost so much!

And as much as I wanted to die, to go home to be with Jesus in Heaven, by God's grace and mercy alone I somehow hung in there are survived the journey. I cannot express in words the inexplicable pain of soul, emotional trauma and depth of misery that I endured for all those years after my wife divorced me and my life went sideways for the next decade and beyond.

One thing that I know is that God is faithful. He is a good God. I do not blame Him for anything. I admit that I do get quite frustrated with the Lord from time to time, because I know He has the power to make everything right, but He won't do it. But I know why, thankfully. The Bible tells us in Deuteronomy 8:3 that God intentionally led the Hebrews into the Wilderness to test them. God made them hungry and thirsty, to see if they would still trust Him.

Sadly, they utterly failed the test. Instead of trusting God, they whined and complained night and day. Ten times they moaned and complained, until the LORD had had enough and banned them from entering into the Promised Land. Their bad attitudes were like cancer, so I humbly think that God didn't want them to contaminate the Promised Land. God hates complaining!

Some of the happiest people have nothing. They have no money in the bank, no earthly possessions, their teeth are mostly gone and rotted, they have a big hole in their ceiling, but they are happy in their faith in the Lord Jesus Christ. When you know that your name is written in Heaven in the Lamb's Book of Life, you can rejoice even in the darkest of circumstances.

Jesus Will Make Everything Right

John 16:33, “These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.”

Have you ever said to yourself, “I just wish I could undo my life and make everything right?” Well, you can't, none of us can. The past is history, water under the bridge, it is gone forever. We cannot change the past, no matter how much we may try. Ah, but praise God, Jesus can make everything right. That's why Jesus came to die on the cross... TO MAKE EVERYTHING RIGHT! Amen and amen!

Many would-have-been mothers deeply regret aborting their baby in the past, and they wish-to-God they could bring back that precious life, but they cannot. What's done is done. But praise God, Jesus can make everything right, and that little baby is in Heaven. King David's baby died, but David said he will go to the child one day in eternity. 2nd Samuel 12:23, “But now he is dead, wherefore should I fast? can I bring him back again? I shall go to him, but he shall not return to me.” Only if you are a born-again Christian, you will see your baby again in Heaven!

Only Jesus can make everything right. We may ruin our lives, or someone may ruin it for us; but Jesus came into the world to make everything right by His precious literal blood sacrifice for our sins (1st Peter 12:18-19). Jesus said in John 16:33, “be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.” Amen and amen!

I don't care how messed up your life is, Jesus can and will make everything right if you are saved. We could never make everything right. We may be able to make some things right, but there are times when there is simply nothing we can do to make things right. In fact, there are oftentimes when this is the case. There are things in most people's lives that they could never fix. Although you may wish by the grace of God that you could go back in time and change some things, you might have made it worse by doing so. Let go, let God.

There is always something you thought you could have done to make things better. God only knows the things that would have happened, had the things that happened, hadn't happened. We must not live in the unfair world of “I could of, I should of, I would of,” because everything in life is what it is. Life is what it is! We cannot change the past.

I have learned as a Christian that God can take even the worst failures and tragedies in our lives and use it for His glory. Joseph was sold into slavery by his own brothers, and then falsely accused and thrown into prison; but God raised Joseph up to be governor in Egypt during the years of famine. King David stole a man's wife and then murdered the husband; but God used David's broken heart, and all the miseries that came upon David because of his sins, to write the beloved Psalms. God used David's sins and faults for His glory. One-third of the Bible was written by murderers (Moses, David and Paul).

Romans 8:28, “And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.” Notice that God didn't promise that all things would be good; but rather, that all things would “work together for good to them that love God.” If you are a born-again Christian, then this means you. Everything will work out for good in the end. There will be tears of failure in Heaven for many believers, and loss of rewards, and regret over wasted lives that could have been spent soul-winning; but God will eventually wipe away all tears and make everything right (Revelation 21:4).

The big question is... are you on the winning team? Are you saved? have you ever been born-again? You cannot enter into Heaven unless you've been born again of the Spirit of God, by the Word of God (John 3:3; 1st Peter 1:23). Salvation happens when a person acknowledges their guilt of sin for breaking God's Law (Romans 3:19); and believes on Jesus, the Christ, the Son of God, for the forgiveness of sins. Acts 10:43, “To Him give all the prophets witness, that through His name whosoever believeth in Him shall receive remission of sins.” Amen and amen! We are the SINNERS and Jesus is the redeeming SAVIOR. Salvation is receiving, not giving. Eternal life is the gift of God (Romans 6:23), paid for by Jesus precious literal blood (Colossians 1:14; Revelation 1:5; 7:14).

Simply by faith (taking God at His written Word) accept Christ's sacrifice on the cross as full payment for your sins, believing that Jesus was buried, but then resurrected bodily from the dead three days later and you will be immediately, irrevocably and permanently saved. This is the Gospel (the Good News) by which all who just BELIEVE IT are saved (Romans 1:16).

Why The Sword Of The Lord Wickedly Supports Pensacola Christian College

2nd John 1:11, “For he that biddeth him God speed is partaker of his evil deeds.”

The reason why the Sword of the Lord supports Pensacola Christian College (PCC) is because PCC gives them lots of money. Truly the love of money is the root of al evil (1st Timothy 6:10). I learned this week according to their 990 filing that in 2014 Pensacola Christian College (PCC) donated $7,000 to the Sword of the Lord parachurch ministry in Murfreesboro, Tennessee. That explains a lot!

Evangelist John R. Rice (1895-1980) started the Sword of the Lord in 1934 in Dallas, Texas. Sadly, the religious organization is a mere shell of what it once was 75 years ago. Their motto on the front page of every biweekly publication sent out worldwide is:

“An Independent Christian Publication, Standing for the Verbal Inspiration of the Bible, the Deity of Christ, His Blood Atonement, Salvation by Faith, New Testament Soul Winning and The Premillennial Return of Christ; Opposing Modernism (Liberalism), Worldliness and Formalism.”

Hogwash! That sounds great in print, but sadly the leaders of the Sword of the Lord (primarily its editor Shelton Smith) do NOT uphold those ideals. I haven't seen any articles in the past year in their biweekly publication opposing Modernism, Worldliness or Formalism. It's much ado about advertisements, crossword puzzles, articles written by pastor's wives, and worthless gibberish, with a few news points of interests. Where do they contend for the faith? Unlike Shelton Smith, John R. Rice was a fighter who offended readers with his boldness, like I do.

Another example of the Sword of the Lord not living up to their slogan is their ongoing sinful support of Pensacola Christian College (PCC). Here is the toxic plan of salvation being preached today by Campus Church at PCC...

Where in Paul's Gospel (which he received directly from Jesus according to Galatians 1:12) do you see that to be saved you must “turn from your sin” or do “the act of turning from your sin” or make “an inward decision to follow and obey God's will instead of your self-serving sins, or “no longer hold onto your sinful bad habits”? That is self reformation, not Bible repentance. PCC are false prophets!!!

Here is the Gospel—God says that we are sinners and that no amount of good works or behavioral changes on our part could ever make us holy enough to enter heaven. God sent His only begotten Son to pay for all of our sins. Jesus paid for our crimes by dying on the cross for us all. His dead body was buried in a grave. On the third day, Jesus arose from the dead.

The instant you believe this, He knows it and He saves you. John 6:47, “Verily, verily, I say unto you, he that believeth on Me hath everlasting life.” The free gift is based solely upon your trust in what Jesus did for you and has nothing at all to do with what you do for Him. Ephesians 2:8-9, “For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast.”

I did not write this article to be unkind, but to “contend for the faith which was once delivered unto the saints” (Jude 1:3b). Somebody needs to speak up for the truth. It is very wrong, unbiblical and wicked for the Sword of the Lord to continue to support PCC. In every biweekly publication mailed out worldwide, the Sword of the Lord wickedly promotes PCC. Why? Clearly it is because PCC donates tens of thousands of dollars to the Sword of the Lord.

I contacted the Sword of the Lord in 2024 about the matter, warning them that they are sinfully supporting false prophets, but the Sword was indifferent and totally ignored me. I never received a response from them, not surprisingly. So, I can honestly say, which evidence I have shown you, that Shelton Smith has blood on his hands, partaker of their evil deeds at PCC.

Where does the inspired King James Bible teach that to get to Heaven you must “Repent,” then “Believe,” then “Ask” and then “Receive”? Do you see how PCC have complicated God's simple plan of salvation? Shame on the pastors and leaders of Pensacola Christian College for corrupting the Gospel.

PCC's president Troy Shoemaker got paid $219,260 in 2024. That's disgusting! Bible college? That's $18,271 per month salary. I need to go vomit. Serving the Devil pays well! PCC is very wrong on the Gospel, sending people to Hell, and thousands of indifferent parents are still throwing money at them by sending their children to their cult. The Bible teaches that a changed life is the “fruit” of the indwelling Holy Spirit living through you (Galatians 2:20, 5:22-25). A changed life is not the result of repentance! There is a big difference. The former is dependent upon a believer choosing to walk in the Spirit, which means some believers live worldly lives and do not live a changed life; but the later mandates that unless you are living a changed life you never repented and didn't really get saved. PCC is wrong on repentance, wrong on the Gospel, and wrong on salvation. I speak to their shame!

America Is A Scary Place Right Now

Popular rapper “Macklemore” (Benjamin Haggerty, born 1983) and English singer Ed Sheeran (born 1991) have been musical friends for over a decade. Ed Sheeran is now traveling the world on his The Loop Tour, along with several supporting artists, including Macklemore.

On September 4th, 2026, at the NFL Stadium Macklemore ended his concert performance by telling the tens of thousands of fans that he wanted to tell them two words: “Free Palestine!” As a consequence of his stand, the stadium's Jewish owner Robert Kraft kicked Macklemore out of the tour. Numerous other supporting acts in solidarity with Macklemore quit the tour. I say good for them! And bravo to Macklemore for telling THE TRUTH! The United Nations have official called the brutal slaughter of 75,000 Palestinians in Gaza a “genocide,” and it sure has been!

Forbes magazine said this yesterday on September 20th, 2026:

Macklemore's pro-Palestine advocacy during Ed Sheeran's tour led to his removal, reportedly due to an ultimatum from NFL stadium owner Robert Kraft, who cited "hate speech." This move sparked widespread debate about artistic freedom and corporate influence. Macklemore responded by donating his $1 million tour earnings to Palestinian aid, challenging Kraft to match it, which Kraft later addressed by matching Sheeran's $2 million donation. I watched this despicable news report on Fox News in which they interview Ben Shapiro (who is Jewish) and he openly condemns Macklemore, calling his comment to Free Palestine “nonsense.” No Ben, Macklemore spoke the truth! Fox News are disgusting corrupt Zionists! Robert Kraft (Jewish) falsely accused Macklemore of “anti-Semitism” and “hate speech,” but Macklemore plainly said in his concert speech that he is not against the Jews, he is against Israel's genocide of 75,000 Palestinian people since 2023. The millions of Palestinian refugees just want to be recognized officially as a nation, but instead Israel continues to call them “dogs” and murder them by the tens of thousands. Where is justice?

For those of you who have read my ministry blog for a length of time, you know that Pastor Jack Hyles (1926-2001) is my hero of the Christian faith. I had the honor and privilege of attending and graduating from Hyles-Anderson College (1985-1993), which set the course for my life and ministry. I greatly miss Brother Hyles.

That being said, Mrs. Beverly Slaughter Hyles (1929-2017) started a blog in 2013 and wrote every Monday for a few years until she graduated to Heaven. Thankfully, I downloaded her entire blog and saved it, anticipating the day when it would likely disappear forever, and it now has. By God's grace I plan to continue her work, by reposting some of her blogs that are full of wisdom to benefit others.

Mrs. Hyles wrote the following words of wisdom on June 15, 2015. She didn't give titles to her weekly blogs. In this blog she writes about the necessity of experiencing tempest in our life in order to enjoy the calm when it eventually comes...

Happy Monday.
According to the weather reports for weeks, we are in a stormy season.
There are daily reports of tornadoes, thunderstorms, flooding, hail, and of all things, snow in places.
In Texas, May was the wettest month since records have been taken–over one hundred years.
But our long drought has ended!
And the upside of the storms is lush, green lawns, trees so beautiful, flowers blooming, and we are enjoying sunshine even more.
It seems like most of us have to go through the “dark” times to enjoy the “bright” days.
My husband said often, “He who knows no tempest knows no calm.”

Perhaps you are in a tempest of your own today.
Psalm 107 describes such a time when the ships are out to sea.
God commands stormy winds that “mount up to heaven.”
The sailors are tossed and it says they come to their wits end. And then they cry to the Lord.
I love verse twenty nine–“He maketh the storm a calm, so that the waves thereof are still.”
It seems to infer that only in desperation did they go to the Lord.
Isn’t that just like you and me?
We all love the results of storms. They do bring new life, freshness, and very often we see God’s signature promise–a rainbow.
Someone has wisely observed, “You want to see a rainbow? Then expect some rain.”
Years ago, during a stormy time in my life, I wrote these words.
It’s storming today, Lord.
I hear the raindrops on my roof,
Like falling tears on my window pane.
Will it ever stop, Lord?
The flowers are drooping from wetness
The trees have sagging leaves like coming death.
Is the sun still there, Lord?
I see only darkness filling my room
It invades my soul like deepest sorrow.
I see it, Lord–a rainbow!
It’s there, right there, and it bears your signature,
Your promise.
I’m persuaded, Lord, to commit
To you, once again the storm in my life
Knowing that you keep my safely in your hand.
Thank you, Lord,
The world has taken on fresh life.

I jotted down the quote that she shared from Brother Hyles: “He who knows no tempest knows no calm.” That is so true! You cannot be downstream until you've been upstream. Psalms 30:5, “For his anger endureth but a moment; in his favour is life: weeping may endure for a night, but joy cometh in the morning.” Mrs. Hyles is right that we have to go through the “dark” times to enjoy the “bright” days. No one can live on the mountaintop all the time. Most of the time we have to go through the valley beneath.

I am reminded of Dr. Hyles' beautiful sermon titled, “Imperfect People In Heaven,” in which sermon he teaches that we should continue the work of the saints now in Heaven. Mrs. Hyles spent several hundred hours preparing and writing her hundreds of blogs. She did it for Jesus Christ, to help and comfort and encourage others. Now that she is in Heaven and her blog is gone, I want to continue her work for Christ, for the benefit of others.

By God's grace, I have been doing the same thing for my long time ministry friend, Pastor Max D. Younce (1935-2023). I have been doing the same thing for Brother Hyles, Curtis Hutson (1934-1995), Harry Ironside (1876-1951), Hank Lindstrom (1940-2008), and other faithful free grace soulwinning preachers.

By God's grace, I am glad that I planned ahead by saving Mrs. Hyles' blogs. For many years now I have gotten into the habit of downloading, archiving and saving valuable internet resources, because things have a way of vanishing overnight. One day my own ministries will all be gone as well. That is why I encourage everyone to download my websites and blogs. One day the Lord will call me home and when the hosting plan expires, so will all my websites. That is why I made my stand alone blogs in recent years, which won't expire.

Kindly said, I wish that Mrs. Hyles had made a free blog, so that her articles would be preserved for the next generation. Her website expired after she went to Heaven. God willing I will turn 60 years old on March 5th, 2027. Wow, where have the years gone! I read something funny last week on the Banjo Hangout: “Life is like a roll of toilet paper, the closer you get to the end the faster it goes.” Crude but very true! Even so, come, Lord Jesus!

We have been having spring storms recently. Maybe you have also.

But as the saying goes, “April showers bring May flowers.”

Do the stormy times in life work that way? It seems I am learning each day of tests and trials in friends’ lives. Loss of a spouse, death of a child, illnesses, brain cancer, and on and on.

I guess it makes us think of that age-old question, “Why do bad things happen to good people?”

Oscar Wilde said this, “What seems to us as bitter trials are often blessings in disguise.”

That is not easy to think about when the “storm” is raging around you. Instead we like to ask, “Can this go away?”

I thought of the old, familiar story of the woman who complained, “God, you have given me too big of a cross. May I exchange it for a smaller one?”

She was taken to a room where everyone’s cross lay.

She tried several.

Some were too tall, another too heavy, one too rough.

She found a small, insignificant cross, just the perfect weight, which she knew was the best choice for her.

When God saw her carrying it, He said, “That’s the cross you carried in.”

The lesson being, everyone has personal trials and tests…Remember, they are made just for you.

Victor Hugo stated, “Sorrow is a fruit. God does not make it grow on limbs too weak to bear it.”

There was quite a storm here last night, lightening, strong rains, and wind. Today, in the bright sunshine, the grass is greener, the trees beautiful. Truly, as my husband would say, “I saw God wash the world last night,” and it is a spectacular day!

In the little book of Nahum, chapter one, verse three, it says, “The Lord hath his way in the whirlwind and in the storm, and the clouds are the dust of his feet.” A few verses later it says, “He is a strong hold in the day of trouble.”

Can we trust that He has His way in our storms? Yes!

A good thing to always remember is that there has never been a storm that didn’t end!

Dr. Hyles said in a sermon, “Life is a veil of tears.” It sure is dear friend, it sure is. I enjoy reading the biographies of people, famous and non-famous alike. Today I was reading about Hollywood actor John Cazale (1935-1978). John starred in the movies: The Godfather, The Godfather 2, The Deer Hunter, et cetera. He was a chain smoker which took his life at only age 42 from lung cancer. So sad.

The studio refused to allow John to play a role in The Deer Hunter when they learned that he was dying, because the insurance cost was very high. Actor Meryl Streep (14 years younger) had been dating John for two years from 1976 until his death in 1978. Miss Streep revealed decades later that Robert DeNiro had paid for John's insurance, refusing to be in the film unless the studio included John in it too. That's a true friend!

I couldn't find out what John's religious beliefs were. I don't know where he went in the afterlife. While playing his role in the 1978 film, The Deer Hunter, John and all his co-stars knew that he was dying of lung cancer. That must have felt surreal to all of them. Life is so short.

Last weekend, I had a rare privilege of taking a road trip to Arkansas with some of my family. It’s a perfect time of year, because the wild flowers were in bloom.

There were fields of blue bonnets, some Indian paint brush, and fields of breathtakingly beautiful yellow flowers, (they were not dandelions) but I haven’t found what they are—just a delight to the eyes.

I’m still relishing the beauty and appreciating the fact that they would be considered “lilies of the field,” totally at the mercy of God’s hand. He waters them with the rain, gives the sun they need, and all they do is just bloom!

Jesus told us to “consider the lilies,” to take a lesson in knowing that God is the husbandman who knows our needs in every season of life, and cares.

I could not help but think of one of our former president’s wife, Lady Bird Johnson, wife of Lyndon B. Johnson.

During their tenure in the White House, one of her projects was beautifying the landscape of our country with flowers.

Since she was a Texan, she saw to it that blue bonnets, the state flower, would be planted prolifically in Texas and nearby areas.

Though her death was in 2007, her legacy lives on in the enjoyment so many have while posing for pictures among the blooms or just taking it in with our eyes.

The fact is each one of us will leave something of ourselves to those who follow.

Ecclesiastes 1:4 says, “One generation passeth away, and another generation cometh.”

I happen to be among those who followed what has been called “the greatest generation.” They were great and we owe a debt to pass it on.

Perhaps we should pause and ask, “What will I leave that will bring meaning, hope, and even beauty?

In his song, Jon Mohr puts it so succinctly:
“Find Us Faithful”

“After all our hopes and dreams have come and gone,
And our children sift through all we’ve left behind,
May the clues that they discover
And the mem’ries they uncover
Become the light that leads them
To the road we each must find.”

Chorus:

“O may all who come behind us find us faithful;
May the fire of our devotion light their way.
May the footprints that we leave
Lead them to believe
And the lives we live inspire them to obey.
O may all who come behind us find us faithful.”
We may not leave anything as spectacular as fields of flowers. But we can be faithful.

I like that Bible passage from Ecclesiastes 1:4 says, “One generation passeth away, and another generation cometh.” My mother's Mom went to Heaven in 1977 at age 77. She was born in 1900. My Mom and Dad are gone onto Heaven to be with the good Lord. It's my turn next. I am now living in the third and final act of my life.

To be honest, I'm ready to go! I suffer every day with burning neck pain, burning nerves throughout my upper body, the entire right side of my body feeling half asleep, I only have half the pain medications I require due to doctors being afraid of the government, and being lonely without a wife, et cetera. I feel the same as Paul in Philippians 1:21, “For to me to live is Christ, and to die is gain.” I just want to go home to Heaven, but until that blessed time comes I am going to continue preaching THE TRUTH.

God is faithful (1st Corinthians 1:9).

America Is Beautiful No Longer

There is nothing new under the sun. When I think about the United States today, I am often reminded of another applicable Scripture passage from the Old Testament...

Isaiah 1:4-6, “Ah sinful nation, a people laden with iniquity, a seed of evildoers, children that are corrupters: they have forsaken the LORD, they have provoked the Holy One of Israel unto anger, they are gone away backward. Why should ye be stricken any more? ye will revolt more and more: the whole head is sick, and the whole heart faint. From the sole of the foot even unto the head there is no soundness in it; but wounds, and bruises, and putrifying sores: they have not been closed, neither bound up, neither mollified with ointment.”

Could there be a more applicable Scripture passage, which practically gives the coordinates of the United States? This Bible passage is about Israel, but it is equally applicable to our nation today. From the sole of the foot to the crown of our head, we are terminally sick as a nation.

Over the past 10 years the sin of homosexuality has increasingly been creepily promoted in media and movies:

The past decade has seen a dramatic transformation in the representation of the LGBT (Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender) community in media and film from exclusion to mass acceptance. The transformation is reflective of changing society as well as the transformation of the film industry. Media and film representations that include LGBT themes have been pivotal in promoting social acceptance, shaping policy reforms, and solidifying the identity of the LGBT community. SOURCE

That is sickening and gross. When a society starts accepting the lowest form of moral human degradation—homosexuality—that society is well nigh hopeless.

And please don't think for one second that the sinister Satanic powers at work behind the scenes actually care about equality and your rights, they don't. Senator Ted Cruz's father Rafael Cruz explains what's really happening and I fully agree with his reasoning. This recording was made prior to the U.S. Supreme Court ruling in 2015 that made same sex marriage legal in all 50 states. Job 20:5, “That the triumphing of the wicked is short, and the joy of the hypocrite but for a moment?”

The blatant fraud of evolution and the despicable act of homosexuality are all aimed at destroying the traditional family. What is happening in America today is anything but normal or natural. And I'll tell you something else, when the ungodly socialist Democrats are back in power in the White House we are going to see the bottom spiritually fall out in this nation. They will take vengeance on nearly everything President Trump accomplished. They will bring back the perversion, chaos and continued dismantling of the United States.

Al Sharpton Is A Classic Example Of An Infidel Modernist

Matthew 7:15-17, “Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves. Ye shall know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes of thorns, or figs of thistles? Even so every good tree bringeth forth good fruit; but a corrupt tree bringeth forth evil fruit.”

The “fruit” by which ye shall know a false prophet, if you rightly divide God's Word, can only refer to their doctrine...

1st John 4:1, “Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world.”

Simply put, a “modernist” is an infidel (unsaved person) who claims to be a Christian. They exactly fit the dictionary definition of an “infidel,” denying the essentials of the Christian faith. They have the same exact doctrinal position as Richard Dawkins, Stephen Hawking, Sam Harris, Daniel Dennett, and Christopher Hitchens, who are often associated with the New Atheism movement, but they are in the church and wilfully deceive God's people because they want the prestige, income and influence of the Christian religion.

Case in point are those preachers in the Black Liberation Theology movement; namely, Martin Luther King Jr. (1929-1968), Jesse Jackson (1941-2026), and Al Sharpton (born 1954), to name but a few of their infidel leaders. Although he was known as a Baptist preacher and called “reverend” everywhere he went, Martin Luther King Jr. openly denied Jesus' physical resurrection, His virgin birth and deity. Sadly, unless he repented on his deathbed of his unbelief, Martin Luther King Jr. is burning in Hell forever. He was the epitome of a modernist!

Satan has many ministers of unrighteousness in the world, and he always has...

2nd Corinthians 11:13-15, “For such are false apostles, deceitful workers, transforming themselves into the apostles of Christ. And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light. Therefore it is no great thing if his ministers also be transformed as the ministers of righteousness; whose end shall be according to their works.”

Al Sharpton never attended theological seminary. Sharpton was ordained by his minister, Frederick Douglas Washington, through his black Pentecostal church in Brooklyn, New York at age 9 or 10. He does not have a college degree from any university, seminary or Bible college.

It is tragic what has been going on in our country for so long. God knows that I love black people, but some of their Marxist political activists are so enamored with past injustices toward African Americans, and their selfish political agenda, that they have stooped to unimaginable lows to demonize white Americans. We are truly living in the ungodly “perilous times” foretold in 2nd Timothy 3:1-7.

Al Sharpton is a fraud as a Christian and a Baptist preacher. You'll never hear him preach the same Gospel truth which the Apostle Paul preached in 1st Corinthians 15:1-4 concerning Jesus' death on the cross, burial and bodily resurrection from the dead three days later. Instead, Sharpton preaches a corrupt social gospel which requires adhering to Black Liberation Theology to get to Heaven.

Sharpton's toxic theology puts “doing God's will” unusually close to the center of salvation. His false Christianity is strongly influenced by the Black social-gospel and liberation tradition, in which Jesus' ministry to the poor and concern for the oppressed are interpreted as central themes of the Gospel. Clearly, Sharpton is preaching another gospel, Lordship Salvation.

While Al Sharpton sticks within a theological tradition of Baptist and Pentecostal, that typically teach those who do not accept Christ will go to Hell, he has intentionally avoided making public statements on the eternal fate of others, choosing instead to focus on social justice.

Al Sharpton Is A Marxist Communist

The old adage is very true: To the man with a hammer in his hand, everything looks like a nail sticking up. To Al Sharpton and other radical Marxist leftists like him, they see everything through a filter of Black Liberation Theology (aka, Social Justice for Blacks).

Communism is an existential threat in the United States today. See, 'Collectivism And Individualism' by Dr. G. Edward Griffin. It should be alarming when we see and hear young people condemning capitalism and pushing for socialism. Be careful what you ask for!

The countries that are currently considered Marxist or communist include China, Cuba, Vietnam, Laos and North Korea (all chaotic failed governments). These nations are governed by communist parties and adhere to Marxist-Leninist principles. There is nothing wrong with capitalism is a free and honest economy. What we have today in the United States is NOT capitalism, it is an evil fraudulent rigged economy controlled by fraudulent Federal Reserve cronyism since 1913. The American people are enslaved to a privately owned banking cartel.

The dishonest fact-checkers, web search assistants and A.I. Chatbots all lie to hide the truth. Say what they will, the Federal Reserve was birthed in 1913 to ultimately benefit the elite and their banking interests, not the American public. Congress sold us out, handing over control of our economy to a privately owned banking cartel.

This is not honest capitalism where a man who works hard gets to keep what he has rightly earned. Do you think it is mere coincidence that you have to be a slave at work for 40 to 50 years to pay down your mortgage? They are financial scientists ladies and gentlemen, the evil men who devised the Federal Reserve invention. Essentially, in Al Sharpton's perverted theology, you are not really a Christian unless you get involved in Black Liberation Theology and activism. You'll never hear him preach the Gospel taught in 1st Corinthians 15:1-4. Satan has deceived millions of people with a counterfeit social gospel that blinds the minds of unbelievers. ...

2nd Corinthians 4:3-4, “But if our gospel be hid, it is hid to them that are lost: In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them.”

These ungodly false prophets who masquerade as Baptist ministers are servants of the Devil. They do not preach a free grace Gospel. They preach a perverted social gospel of rights for blacks, homosexuals, feminists and abortionists. I certainly believe in equality for all mankind, but no one has a right to commit wickedness. Every child in the womb has a right to live.

Judges 21:25, “In those days there was no king in Israel: every man did that which was right in his own eyes.” They wanted to do what was right, but they wanted to decide for themselves what was good or evil, instead of obeying God. People rarely just do something evil without first rationalizing that they are really doing what is right. Isaiah 5:20, “Woe unto them that call evil good, and good evil; that put darkness for light, and light for darkness; that put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter!”

Jesse Jackson was an ordained Baptist minister whose perverse theology emphasized social justice, civil rights and economic empowerment as expressions of Christian faith. These are not the Biblical truths which God calls a man to preach. Jesse Jackson was a wicked strong advocate for LGBTQ+ rights, being the first presidential candidate to include support for LGBTQ+ rights in his campaign platform. That is evil. Jackson integrated Biblical teachings on liberation and reconciliation into his activism, framing racial and economic justice as moral imperatives. The sad truth is that these evil men exploit Christianity for their own personal benefit, biases, political agendas and worldliness. What saith the Scripture?

James 4:4, “Ye adulterers and adulteresses, know ye not that the friendship of the world is enmity with God? whosoever therefore will be a friend of the world is the enemy of God.”

These so-called “Baptist ministers” are all friends of the wicked world. They do not preach the Gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ; but rather, a social gospel of social rights for gays, blacks, feminists, abortionists and other minority groups. They are abusing the things of God for their own personal benefit and political agendas. These are false prophets! ...

2nd Peter 2:1-3, “But there were false prophets also among the people, even as there shall be false teachers among you, who privily shall bring in damnable heresies, even denying the Lord that bought them, and bring upon themselves swift destruction. And many shall follow their pernicious ways; by reason of whom the way of truth shall be evil spoken of. And through covetousness shall they with feigned words make merchandise of you: whose judgment now of a long time lingereth not, and their damnation slumbereth not.”

Carefully notice:

They come in “privily,” that is, secretly, pretending to be true prophets of God.
They shall bring in “damnable heresies.” Here is a list of prominent pastors and theologians who deny Jesus' deity that He is almighty God. These religious men are all hellbound infidels. It is unclear if Al Sharpton believes in Jesus' deity, but it is clear that he preaches another gospel, making his heresy damnable.
So many gullible people will follow these false prophets, that the truths of the Bible “shall be evil spoken of.” Whole denominations shall be led away to disregard faith in the virgin birth of Christ, His bodily resurrection, the absolute necessity of being born again, the Godhead (aka, Trinity), the verbal inspiration of the King James Bible, et cetera. False prophets are dangerous!
The sin of covetousness, the Holy Bible says, will compel these false teachers to use “feigned words,” lying, deceiving, “making merchandise of you.”
They are already accursed by God, “their damnation slumbereth not.”

Our churches, Bible colleges, the White House, and nearly every religious institution today are full of hellbound modernists who falsely claim to be Christians. Jesus said we shall know them by their fruits, that is, their doctrine. The only valid way to know if somebody is saved or lost is by a direct testimony from their own mouth concerning Jesus Christ and the Gospel.

Let God Be True, But Every Man A Liar

Romans 3:1-4, “What advantage then hath the Jew? or what profit is there of circumcision? Much every way: chiefly, because that unto them were committed the oracles of God. For what if some did not believe? shall their unbelief make the faith of God without effect? God forbid: yea, let God be true, but every man a liar; as it is written, That thou mightest be justified in thy sayings, and mightest overcome when thou art judged.”

Just because some of the Jews did not believe the Gospel doesn't nullify God's Word. That is what this passage is saying. I love verse 4, which promises that if what we say aligns with what God says in His inspired Word, our preaching, debates and words WILL BE vindicated. I love that truth and am counting on it to justify my battles with umpteen corrupt pastors and churches.

That being said, I told the truth. I told the truth at Harvest Baptist Church on Guam that the modern Bible revisions they use are corrupt, and that the Lordship Salvation which they preach is a counterfeit plan of salvation, for which truths I was forced out in 2014 and then banned from returning. For the next 7 years I had nowhere to attend church because of Pastor Marty Herron. I moved off Guam to Florida in 2021. The shameful pastors and complicit members of Harvest Baptist Church on Guam have blood on their hands.

I told the truth at the ungodly Campus Church at Pensacola Christian College (PCC), for which I was mistreated by Pastor Jeff Redlin and then banned from attending their Campus Church since August of 2022. I found four different plans of salvation at PCC. God's curse is upon anyone who perverts the Gospel (Galatians 1:6-9). PCC is cursed by God. Romans 3:4, “yea, let God be true, but every man a liar; as it is written, That thou mightest be justified in thy sayings, and mightest overcome when thou art judged.”

I told the truth that repentance doesn't mean to repent "of your sins," and that Christian ladies out not wearing pants, for which the ungodly Family Baptist Church in Pensacola kicked me and my wife out in June of 2025. The pastors and complicit members of Family Baptist Church have blood on their hands, including that of Tom and Sharon, who were also kicked out. Romans 3:4, “yea, let God be true, but every man a liar; as it is written, That thou mightest be justified in thy sayings, and mightest overcome when thou art judged.”

I told the truth at Smyrna Baptist Church in Pensacola, for which I was mistreated in and shunned in 2024 by the uncaring pastor and his ungodly mean wife, clearly sent a message not to return. Smyrna wickedly bids Godspeed to PCC (1st John 2:11), and promotes wicked corrupt Chick Tracts that preach another gospel. Romans 3:4, “yea, let God be true, but every man a liar; as it is written, That thou mightest be justified in thy sayings, and mightest overcome when thou art judged.”

These toxic so-called “churches” are in serious trouble with the LORD. My truthful Bible preaching WILL BE vindicated on Judgment Day. I know that I am a nobody (Galatians 6:3), but I am a VOICE who is telling the truth for Jesus Christ. Right doctrine matters!

Church Authoritarianism Angers A Lot Of People

1st Peter 5:1-4, “The elders which are among you I exhort, who am also an elder, and a witness of the sufferings of Christ, and also a partaker of the glory that shall be revealed: Feed the flock of God which is among you, taking the oversight thereof, not by constraint, but willingly; not for filthy lucre, but of a ready mind; Neither as being lords over God's heritage, but being ensamples to the flock. And when the chief Shepherd shall appear, ye shall receive a crown of glory that fadeth not away.”

One of the most horrible things that I have sadly experienced firsthand is the abusive authoritarian attitudes in the work of God. They are bullies. Male testosterone has no place in the work of God. As human beings we all have opinions, but those opinions must be tempered and filtered through love for unrepentant sinners and compassion for all people, something which is woefully lacking in Christendom today.

As a general observation, Christian fundamentalists have strong opinions. And there is even something called "Militant Fundamentalism," which are hard core religiousites. They dot their i's and cross their t's. Some people have called them. "fighting fundamentalists."

Fundamentalists

Fundamentalist churches and Bible colleges are generally characterized by:

Only a free grace gospel is preached
Only the inspired King James Bible is used, sold and promoted
Personal and ecclesiastical separation is enforced from the world and bad churches
Only the old hymns of the Christian faith are sung
Door to door soulwinning with the gospel

Kindly, said, Pastor Steven Anderson at the Faithful Word Baptist Church in Phoenix, Arizona, and his New IFB movement (circus) of churches would definitely be considered fighting fundamentalists; and they fight with everybody, including among themselves. Steven Anderson's own four oldest children have come out against him since 2024 to destroy his reputation, accusing their parents of emotional cruelty and physical abuse. I admit that I do not like militant fundamentalists because of their woeful lack of love for people.

Pastor Peter S. Ruckman (1921-2016) and his Bible Baptist Church in Pensacola are another hateful group of militant fundamentalists (IMHO). The church's bookstore threatened to sue me a couple years ago for freely sharing Dr. Ruckman's helpful books on the King James Bible in .pdf format. By far, Ruckmanites are a hateful militant group of religiousites. This group of militants also include false prophets like Dr. William P. Grady and Robert Breaker. Just like the New IFB, Ruckmanites are very authoritarian in their leadership, woefully lacking love for people. This has been my personal experience when dealing with them.

Neo Evangelicals

But the realm of abusive authoritarian leadership goes well beyond the fundamentalists world. Many neo-evangelical churches are just as bad. “Neo” simply means “new.” Neo-evangelical churches and Bible College are characterized by:

The counterfeit gospel of Lordship Salvation
Contemporary Christian Music (CCM), or a hybrid of old hymns and CCM
Praise for infidels like Billy Graham (1918-2018) and John MacArthur (1939-2025)
They despise fundamentalist Christians
They use the Devil's modern corrupt English Bible revisions (or refuse to expose them)

These are the two main groups of Baptists today: Fundamentalists and Neo-Evangelicals.

Neo Fundamentalists

And then there is what I like to call, Neo-Fundamentalists, which simply refers to former Fundamentalists who are changing toward Neo-Evangelicalism.

Pensacola Christian College (PCC) are neo-fundamentalists. They use the King James Bible, but refuse to expose Satan's fake Bible revisions. They do not practice ecclesiastical separation from worldly corrupt churches (like Harvest Baptist Church on Guam), Calvinist colleges (like Bob Jones University), and infidels like Ken Ham (who preaches hard core Lordship Salvation and was invited in 2022 to speak at PCC). Both Harvest and BJU preach hard core Lordship Salvation. PCC are separated from the world, but they sing CCM music. They preach multiple different gospels at PCC in their institution and Campus Church, which includes everything from hard core Lordship Salvation to a free grace gospel. They are a house confused at PCC! They are working against each other, shaming the name of Jesus.

That all being said, I am not saying that everyone within these three groups are bad people. I am not saying they are all corrupt. In fact, there are many wonderful and good people in each group. People are like sheep according to the Holy Bible (Isaiah 53:6). Sheep are not that bright. Sheep are easily vulnerable to predators like ravening wolves, which Jesus even said in Matthew 7:15. The inspired Holy Bible teaches that the tares (unsaved) always grow among the wheat (saved). I heard Pastor Jack Hyles (1926-2001) say that you'll find more tares in a fundamentalist Bible church than anywhere else. That's interesting.

Harvest Baptist Church On Guam Rejected The Truth

Kindly said, when I attended the shameful Harvest Baptist Church on Guam in 2014, I saw that they were using dozens of different Bible versions. Their senior pastor Marty Herron at the time was promoting infidel Dr. John MacArthur's materials, preaching hard core Lordship Salvation, and claiming that Martin Luther (who taught the heresy of sacramental salvation all his life) was a born again Christian. When I gave some helpful books to Pastor Herron (as a true friend does), I was called into the church office and reprimanded. They harshly censured me and I was shortly thereafter banned from attending their so-called “church.”

Pastor Herron called me their “enemy” for telling THE TRUTH! That is exactly what the ungodly churches of Galatia did to the Apostle Paul. Galatians 4:16, “Am I therefore become your enemy, because I tell you the truth?” The fastest way to make enemies to the just TELL THE TRUTH! Obviously, I am not an Apostle, but I am a VOICE!

I might as well have handed Kryptonite to Superman! A friend helps a friend to see. I actually heard that truth from Dr. Tom Ferrell on Harvest's KHMG 88.1 FM radio station, which the church broadcasts from their property. They don't even follow their own advice! I was helping their pastors to see THE TRUTH, but they wickedly rejected that truth and I was shunned permanently for it. Hosea 4:6 says that God's people are destroyed for LACK OF KNOWLEDGE (truth), but if you read the rest of the Bible verse it says, “because thou hast rejected knowledge...” (Hosea 4:6b). The incompetent pastors of Harvest rejected THE TRUTH that I handed to them.

The man who operated their radio station today operates the radio station at Pensacola Christian College (PCC) in Florida. Birds of a feather flock together. Their senior pastor at PCC's Campus Church Jeff Redlin is an unloving cold man who has wickedly banned me from attending their Campus Church since August 2, 2022. I kindly contacted PCC's authoritarian leadership twice about what Redlin did, but they ignored me completely. Shame on PCC! Tragically, PCC is as messed up doctrinally as Harvest Baptist Church, both organizations preaching hard core Lordship Salvation, mistreat people and shame the cause of Jesus Christ.

Exposing Bad Churches And Lunacy

There is a fella named Eric Skwarczynski who has a YouTube channel called, “Preacher Boys.” Eric's channel description reads: “A former fundamentalist sheds light on the dark side of the church… from the pulpits to the pews.” At first when I found his YouTube channel years ago I was greatly offended. I remembered from Revelation 12:10 that Satan is “the accuser of the brethren.” Furthermore, since 2020 Eric has publicly renounced Christianity, sadly.

But over time, struggling with mixed feelings about what Eric is doing, I began to appreciate his work (as did my ministry friend Pastor David Baker in Tennessee, who thanked Eric for his YouTube channel in 2025). Just because Satan is the accuser of Christians doesn't mean that we should just look the other way, stay quiet and bury our heads in the sand about the unbiblical abuse of power, authoritarianism, insanity, woeful lack of love for sinners, and hatred in today's corrupt churches and Bible colleges. Eric is simply shining a light on the cesspool of iniquity among today's pathetic pastors, laymen, churches and religious institutions. The old adage if true: If the shoe fits, wear it!

I did some research to learn more about him. It is bizarre. He started his YouTube channel in 2020, at which time he actually claimed to be a fundamentalist Baptist Christian. Since he has renounced being a Christian. Go figure! He has posted a video titled: "Why I Am No Longer A Christian." So sad. What happened? I don't know.

For whatever reason Eric is bitter and angry at fundamentalist Christians, and unfortunately, at God Himself. My heart goes out to anyone when I see that they have become bitter. I feel sorry for them, whatever has happened to cause them to become full of anger and bitterness. Life has a way of turning people bitter. Eric is filled with subtle hatred. Proverbs 26:25, “When he speaketh fair, believe him not: for there are seven abominations in his heart.”

Satan is identified in Scripture as “the accuser of the brethren” (Revelation 12:10b). The Devil wants to attack, discredit and destroy Christians. The battle between good and evil is still raging. I was looking on YouTube this week and didn't realize how many videos exist of people who at one time professed to be a Christians, but now are atheists. Eric Skwarczynski and Bruce Gerencser are two of the more popular ones. There's also a guy named Marco (Rightly Dividing Ministries) on YouTube who has renounced biblical Christianity. Just five years ago Marco claimed to be a Christian. It is a disturbing growing trend on social media.

Satan is “the accuser of the brethren” and “If ye were of the world, the world would love his own: but because ye are not of the world, but I have chosen you out of the world, therefore the world hateth you.” No other organization, group or movement is held to the same scrutiny, criticism and condemnation as are God's children (and rightfully so).

I have found numerous videos by former pastors and Bible professors who now claim atheism. It is truly sad, but a sign of these “perilous times” in which we live (2nd Timothy 3:1-7). It just strengthens my faith. Even so, come, Lord Jesus!

I could go on for hours about the painful difficulties I have encountered in today's shameful churches. When I attended the neo-evangelical Family Baptist Church in Pensacola for 45 months (2021-2025), my website preaching on social media against Christian women wearing pants upset church leadership. I never even told them about my website ministry, but they found it and they made an issue of my Bible preaching on modesty (among other things). It was really none of their business, but they wickedly made it their business.

Since Pastor Brad Moffett's wife wears sexy pants in public, she was greatly offended by my preaching. Just like Herodias in the Bible was greatly offended by the preaching of John the Baptist, so also was Pastor Brad's wife greatly offended by my biblical stand against immodesty. And just like Herodias got John's head chopped off, so also did the wicked pastor's wife at Family Baptist Church henpeck her husband (Herod) to kick me and my wife out of their church in June of 2025. To their utter shame, they axed us! God will vindicate us.

This is the dire spiritual condition of today's churches! I had never once in 45 months mentioned anything in their Baptist church about my biblical conviction concerning women wearing pants, nor anything else that I preach, but their authoritarian leaders are so wicked, full of religious hypocrisy, self-righteousness and worldliness, that they crucified us.

Dear reader, God is love, but you'd never know it from attending over 95% of today's spiritually dead churches. While their shameful authoritarian (tyrant) church leaders are telling the congregation how loving their church is, they're kicking people out the door left and right, throwing God's children under the bus. 1st Peter 5:3, “Neither as being lords over God's heritage, but being ensamples to the flock.”

Lindsay Clancy Should Receive The Death Penalty

Genesis 9:6, “Whoso sheddeth man's blood, by man shall his blood be shed: for in the image of God made he man.”

Kindly said, a crazy mother who murders her three children is a choice. Whether Lindsay is legally deemed insane or not when she murdered her three biological children in 2023, she is still guilty. The inspired Holy Bible doesn't exempt criminals from the consequences of their actions if they are diagnosed as being insane. One could easily argue that anyone who murders their own children is insane!

Biblically, Lindsay Clancy should receive the death penalty, but she won't be going to prison, I guarantee you. She likely won't even be tried by another jury. My guess is that the Attorney General's Office will lower the charges, leaving her fate in the hands of a single judge without the need for a jury. She'll be sent to a mental institution for a few years, or as little as 6 months.

It also doesn't surprise me that thousands of feminist women are angrily demanding the release of Lindsay, when most of them are okay with murdering children by abortion. I looked at the mob of angry women demanding Lindsay's release outside the courthouse, and not one of them were wearing a dress. They were all immodestly clothed, wearing shorts and pants. The vast majority of American women today are shameful and wicked, so says the Holy Bible (1st Timothy 2:9-10; Deuteronomy 22:5; 1st Corinthians 14:34; 1st Timothy 2:11-12; Ephesians 5:22; Proverbs 7:10-11, 9:13-18, 31:11).

I was sickened this week that the ungodly left-wing media went after the lone male juror who held out. The media has reported on the holdout juror's history of domestic violence allegations (which were dropped), and his pending eviction based on court documents and interviews with family members, despite not revealing his name publicly. They said he abused one of his former girlfriends, and he is now being evicted for not paying his rent. They are trying to tear down his character to discredit his opinion as a juror.

The liberal judge and feminists everywhere have already decided to let Clancy go free. That is not justice, it is corruption. It angers and disgusts me that when one juror doesn't vote the way the judge wants him to vote, everyone demonizes him. That is a kangaroo court! Why have a jury if everyone is being pressured to vote unanimously to an expected end? That juror never should have been pressured, grilled by the judge or made to feel uncomfortable for voting his conviction.

The judge kept saying that if the lone juror had followed the directions regarding Reasonable Doubt to the jury that he would have voted “not guilty.” If that be true, then why was Timothy Jones Jr. found guilty? In 2014 Timothy Jones Jr. (born 1981) was found guilty of killing his five children in their mobile home along South Lake Drive in Lexington County, South Carolina.

Although like Lindsay Clancy, Timothy said he heard voices telling him to kill his children, the jury ultimately sentenced him to death. Could it be because Timothy identifies as a Christian fundamentalist? Why the double standard? Why the unfair disparity in our court system? Why do women get a free pass to commit mass-murder, but men get crucified? I am sick and fed up and tired of the hypocrisy.

If Clancy goes free on earth, you get be assured that God will hold her accountable in eternity. Ecclesiastes 12:13-14, “Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God, and keep his commandments: for this is the whole duty of man. For God shall bring every work into judgment, with every secret thing, whether it be good, or whether it be evil.”

Kindly said, you can take one look at Miss Clancy's court photo (below) being circulated to the media and see that she looks as crazy as a sack full of cats. I am not disparaging her as a woman, God forbid. I am am simply pointing out the truth. She brutally murdered her children. She sent her husband to pick up food, planning to kill their children while he was gone. She planned the murders! It wasn't a crime of passion. And even if it was, it shouldn't matter.

I have a right to my own opinion too, and I think Lindsay Clancy is guilty, guilty, guilty. That is what the Word of God teaches. Exodus 20:13, “Thou shalt not kill.” If I were one of the jurors, I would have also voted “guilty.” And isn't it convenient that the wicked media didn't check the backgrounds of any of the other jurors? They only wanted to dig up some dirt to slander, discredit, disparage and tear down the one man who voted “guilty.”

The Godfather was right in the 1972 movie, The Godfather: “Women and children can afford to be careless, but not men.”

The Sad Case Of Pastor Steven Anderson

Proverbs 26:12, “Seest thou a man wise in his own conceit? there is more hope of a fool than of him.”

Jeremiah 2:35, "Yet thou sayest, Because I am innocent, surely his anger shall turn from me. Behold, I will plead with thee, because thou sayest, I have not sinned."

Steven Anderson started the Faithful Word Baptist Church in Tempe, Arizona, in 2006. The cult moved in 2025 to Phoenix. From Anderson's ministry has grown the New IFB (independent fundamental Baptist) movement, now comprised of a few dozen churches nationwide. I cannot warn everyone enough to avoid these ungodly wolves who spread false doctrine, slander, false accusations and vicious hatred everywhere they go. The New IFB make Pastor Fred Phelps (1929-2014) look like Mr. Fred Rogers (1928-2003).

No matter what criticism comes his way, in the mind of Pastor Steven Anderson he is always right and everyone else is wrong. Low character individuals like Jonathan Shelley and Matthew Stuckey pander to him (their cult mentor) who can do no wrong in their eyes. The entire New IFB camp is very shallow and immature. I say that kindly in love.

Any so-called “pastor” who goes around inciting hatred of people is a false prophet. Wanna-be pastor Matthew Stuckey recently preached a heretical sermon called, “Friends Come And Go,” which is ironic because Steven Anderson is no true friend to anyone. Matthew preached that sermon because Steven Anderson has literally driven everybody away from him, even his own four oldest biological children who have all come out publicly to expose his abuse and hatred. The ungodly pastor went as far on July 5th, 2026, as to call for the death of his four oldest children. That is NOT a man of God!

Why hasn't this wicked fraud resigned as a pastor? By everything the inspired Word of God teaches, Pastor Anderson should have already resigned a long time ago, but he is conceited and will never step down until God removes him. 1st Timothy 3:7, “Moreover he must have a good report of them which are without; lest he fall into reproach and the snare of the devil.” These New IFB churches are not genuine “churches,” because in a real church the congregation has the power to fire the pastor. In a real church Steven Anderson would have been fired a long time ago, but since he started the cult in 2006 it is his own.

How can the New IFB hypocritically claim that “friends come and go” when they throw everybody under the bus? There is a revolving door system at Faithful Word Baptist Church in Arizona. In 2024, when Pastor Anderson's four adult children exposed him for beating his wife and kids with an extension cord, 95 members quit the church. They finally woke up! Were those 95 people just “friends who come and go”? No, they were disgusted with a wicked pastor whose hatred and abusive behavior has finally caught up with him.

Anyone who supports Anderson is not right with God. Little by little as I find them, I am removing links from my own ministry websites to his webpages. I want nothing to do with the New IFB anymore. The “New IFB” is Steven Anderson! The ungodly members of the corrupt New IFB all preach Anderson's beliefs, his convictions, his methods and his hatred of sinners. I simply won't support someone who is consumed with hatred, abusing and hating his own family. What kind of pastor wants his own children killed? The inspired Holy Bible foretells that in the last days men will be “without natural affection” for their own family (2nd Timothy 3:1-5).

I and Pastor Anderson were never “friends,” because a true friend can never be lost. If someone “used” to be your friend, you were merely acquaintances, or perhaps you supported someone for a time, but you were never truly “friends.” So, Matthew Stucky is preaching heresy to say that friends come and go, because that is impossible. Acquaintances may come and go, but never a true friend. Most people haven't the faintest clue of what true “friendship” means.

Unlike Steven Anderson who has never been a friend toward me, I was a friend toward him for many years, promoting his ministry while overlooking his flaws, heresies and abuse. It was a one way street. But Steven's reckless behavior in recent years, with his four oldest children exposing him as an abusive monster at home, his unbiblical teaching that you cannot be saved by faith alone (he says you must pray), his deteriorating public testimony and blatant hatred has removed my rose-colored glasses. I am done with looking the other way.

The Bible says, “A friend loveth at all times” (Proverbs 17:17a). When Steven Anderson turns against people on a dime because they disagree with him on something, Anderson was never a friend to that person. Steven Anderson was NEVER a friend to Pastor Roger Jimenez! Anderson is as shallow as can be, throwing hundreds of former ministry “friends” under the bus. And then he and his cronies have the gall and audacity to accuse his victims of being fair-weather friends? Unreal. Steven Anderson is the fake fair-weather friend!!!

Please understand that I love everybody, truly. I do not hate Pastor Anderson, but I do hate his immaturity, woeful lack of love for sinners, numerous false teachings, and ungodly arrogance that permeates his bad attitude. I am also 100% against the unbiblical hatred of the New IFB toward LGBTQ+ people for whom Jesus Christ gave His life on Calvary's cross 2,000 years ago. The Bible clearly teaches in 2nd Peter 3:9, “The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.”

Kindly said, the New IFB are spiritually dangerous and toxic. Please RUN from their poisonous so-called “churches.” They are not New Testament churches. They are a hateful cult led by one corrupt hatemonger for a leader. If I could sum up the New IFB with one statement it would be 2nd Corinthians 3:6b, “for the letter killeth, but the spirit giveth life.” People will not tolerate hatred. God is love. Preaching hard against sin absolutely must be tempered, coupled and balanced with love or else it will just harden sinner's hearts toward God and the truth. The same sun that melts the wax hardens the clay.

God knows that I did not write this article to attack Steven Anderson; but rather, to teach and warn everyone that the New IFB movement is not what God intended for Christianity to be. The good Lord never intended for pastors to propagate hatred against people. LGBTQ+ sinners are still people who were created in the image of their Creator. In Christian Science, Heaven is taught as a state of consciousness rather than a literal physical place, achieved through spiritual understanding and the practice of Christian Science principles, particularly the teachings of Jesus Christ. Salvation and entry into Heaven come from recognizing one's true spiritual nature and the reality of God's love and grace. As you can easily see, this is totally unscriptural. In Christian Science, you merit Heaven by your works.

In sharp contrast, the inspired King James Bible teaches that Heaven is a literal place with streets of pure gold, as if it were transparent glass; and there are twelve gates made of a single pearl each (Revelation 21:21). How beautiful is that? But Christian Science blatantly denies these Biblical truths. Christian Science Denies Jesus' Deity

Mary Baker Eddy and her demonic Christian Science religion deny Jesus' deity, that He is God almighty. Like the Seventh-Day Adventist cult, Christian Science tries to hide their true beliefs from newcomers to lure them in by deception. Case in point, this website makes it sound like Christian Science esteems Jesus highly, but they deceptively refuse to come right out to tell you that they don't think Jesus is God. Christian Science is rooted in unbiblical New Age philosophy. According to Christian Science, God is a form of divine conscience and does not possess a physical body; not an individual being. Christian Scientists do not believe God has any human qualities.

Dr. John R. Rice further writes:

Before me is the Christian Science Sentinel of December 22, 1934. On page 330 is an editorial which states part of the infidelity of Christian Science Literature—that is, it's teaching that Jesus is not God.

Christian Science is doing much to clarify the thoughts of men regarding the great Way-shower. Among other things, it is correcting THE FALLICY THAT JESUS IS GOD.

The teaching that Jesus is God, Christian Science says is a fallacy, that is, is false. Christian Science everywhere teaches that Jesus was kin to God only in the same way that every other man is. The Jews plainly understood that Jesus claimed to be God. John 10:33, “The Jews answered him, saying, For a good work we stone thee not; but for blasphemy; and because that thou, being a man, makest thyself God.” Jesus boldly declared to the people that He is God. John 14:1, “Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me.” Isaiah 42:8, “I am the LORD: that is my name: and my glory will I not give to another, neither my praise to graven images.” If Jesus were not God almighty, then He would have been committing the sins of idolatry and blasphemy in John 14:1. There is no controversy if you believe the inspired Holy Bible.

Christian Scientists see God as the only reality, so in their view all sin, sickness, disease and death are mere illusions that can be overcome through meditation, prayer and realization of spiritual truth. Christian Science is New Age hodgepodge!

Jesus' deity is a fundamental doctrine of the Christian faith. Although you don't need to be a theologian to be saved, at some point in your Christian life you should learn that Jesus is God and readily receive that truth as a fact. Someone who professes to be a Christian, but upon learning that Jesus is God firmly denies this truth, just confirms they are not born again. No one is saved, who after being taught the truth, still rejects the reality of the Godhead, Jesus' virgin birth, His substitutionary vicarious death on the cross for our sins, Jesus sinless life, His blood applied to the Mercy Seat in Heaven and His bodily resurrection.

You don't have to know all these things to be saved, but if you are saved the blessed indwelling Holy Spirit will teach them to you (John 16:13). When I got saved at age 13, I didn't know that Jesus is God. No one had ever mentioned that truth to me before. But when I attended Bible college at age 18 and heard my Bible professor tell me about Jesus' deity, the Holy Spirit confirmed in my soul that it is the truth. Wisdom is justified of her children (Luke 7:35).

Christian Science Elevates Christ, But Lowers Jesus

In the cult of Christian Science, Jesus refers to the historical figure who lived and taught on earth; while Christ represents the divine idea or spiritual truth that Jesus embodied. Mary Baker Eddy made a distinction between the man Jesus and His role as Christ. This distinction emphasizes the spiritual understanding of Jesus' role in revealing God's nature and the healing power of divine love.

Mary Baker Eddy taught that Christ is the divine idea of God, while Jesus is the human manifestation of that idea. In her corrupt view, Christ represents the spiritual truth and healing power, distinct and without any need for the historical figure of Jesus. Mary Baker Eddy writes:

The theory of three person in one God (that is, a personal Trinity or Tri-unity) suggests polytheism, rather than the one ever-present I AM. Jesus Christ is not God, as Jesus himself declared, but is the Son of God. (Science and Health, 256:9-11)

Beware The Cult Of 'Christian Science'

As do the Jehovah's Witnesses, Christian Science rejects medical treatment, believing that all ailments can be healed through spiritual means instead. That is ridiculous which common sense dictates. This alone should be evidence enough that something is very wrong with the Christian Science religion.

Christian Science: World is Illusion

Christian Science views the material world as an illusion created by the human mind. According to Christian Science teachings, the physical universe that we perceive through our senses does not actually exist.

It is considered a false belief that can be overcome through prayer and spiritual understanding of God’s true nature.

Christian Science founder Mary Baker Eddy taught that matter, sin, sickness and death are not creations of God, but rather are mistaken beliefs of mortal mind. She described the material world as the “error of carnal mortal mind”, not the true spiritual creation of God which she saw as entirely good and spiritual.

By turning away from belief in materiality and focusing completely on the spiritual nature of God and his creation, Christian Scientists believe we can transcend this illusion of a material world and align our thought more fully with Divine Mind, or God. READ MORE

Clearly, Christian Science is based in pagan New Age mumbo-jumbo.

Christian Science does not support the doctrine of the Godhead (aka, Trinity), believing it to be unbiblical. Instead, they view Jesus as a "Way-shower" (a term exclusive to Christian Science) because His life and teachings serve as a model for how to live a balanced and fulfilling life. Christian Science is a Satanic deception intended to take more victims to Hell.

Christian Science adherents don't trust in Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of sins and eternal life; but rather, to save them by showing us how to live life to its fullest.

Christianity teaches that everybody has sinned and fallen short of God’s standards. The first sin separated Adam and Eve from their intimate relationship with God. Sin is disobeying God’s laws (Romans 3:10-23, 5:12).
Christian Science teaches that the fall of Adam and Eve never happened. Eddy believed that humans are an expression of God and thus perfect, with no sin. She said that one gets victory over sin by realizing it’s simply an illusion.

The teachings of Mary Baker Eddy and Christian Science are just plain strange and unbiblical. My article has been more about Christian Science than Val Kilmer, but my heart goes out to the man and his family. Val was horribly deceived by Satan. What saith the Scripture?

2nd Corinthians 11:13-15, “For such are false apostles, deceitful workers, transforming themselves into the apostles of Christ. And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light. Therefore it is no great thing if his ministers also be transformed as the ministers of righteousness; whose end shall be according to their works.”

The world is full of Satanic imposters who masquerade as ministers of righteousness. Sadly, Val was just one of billions of Satan's victims who were tricked by a false religion. There are over one billion hellbound Roman Catholics who have been deceived by Satan, to think that they can get to Heaven by keeping the Seven Sacraments of the Catholic religion. No such requirements are taught in the Holy Bible, not even in the Catholic Douay version of the Bible.

Christian Science followers errantly believe that death transforms them to a higher state of consciousness into a different realm. They don't believe that God is a person; but rather, a force of nature. They don't believe that Heaven or Hell are literal places. They teach that death is an illusion. Christian Science is neither Christian nor based on science.

The Counterfeit Plan Of Salvation Of Christian Science

Jesus warned in John 3:3b, “Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.” But read what Christian Science says you must do to live forever...

That is a false plan of salvation. In Christian Science, they make a distinction between Jesus versus Christ.

Unless Val Kilmer repented on his deathbed to forsake his trust in the lies of Christian Science, and instead place his faith in Jesus Christ alone as his Savior, he sadly went to Hell forever. Christian Science teaches that Heaven is a state of consciousness and harmony that can be experienced now, rather than a literal physical place one enters after death.

The cult emphasizes that individuals can achieve this heavenly state now by aligning their thoughts with God's positive and constructive ideas. Christian Scientists do not believe in a literal Heaven or Hell. They believe that our spiritual nature determines our experience after death, rather than a physical place of reward or punishment. This is all unbiblical rubbish. The inspired Word of God teaches that there are literal places called Hell and Heaven. Where you end up in eternity has nothing to do with your spiritual nature; but rather, if you die in the Lord (Revelation 14:13), or die in your sins (John 8:24).

In Christian Science you don't receive eternal life by faith in Jesus. Christian Science teaches that salvation is achieved through understanding and proving the truths of Christian Science rather than through faith in Jesus. They view Jesus as a "Way-shower" who exemplifies the path to God, but do not adhere to traditional doctrines of atonement or the Trinity.

Totally contrary to God's Word, Christian Science teaches:

Christian Science emphasizes that the quality of life one experiences after death is determined by the moral and spiritual progress one makes during their life. This belief encourages individuals to live a life of service and spiritual growth in order to experience a higher level of consciousness after death. READ MORE

Please don't mistake this heresy as being similar to rewards for the Christian who faithfully serves God on earth. What you just read is their plan of salvation in Christian Science! What saith the Scripture? John 14:6, “Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.” Christian Science is of the Devil, because they do not believe you are saved by trusting Jesus as your personal Savior. They believe you live forever if you live the Christian life by following the example which Christ set for us. Clearly, this is a works-based type of FALSE RELIGION.

Religion Cannot Save Anybody

Instead of pastors, they have public Christian Science reading rooms with books to guide and teach interested followers. The false religion has no official dogma apart from six tenets. Christian Science is a classic example of Alice Bailey's demonic vision in her book, “The Externalisation Of The Hierarchy,” in which she taught that Theosophists (Luciferians) should infiltrate Christianity by maintaining an outer shell of core beliefs (e.g., the six tenets of Christian Science), while promoting New Age ideologies (which is exactly what Christian Science does). If you check the Statement of Faith of nearly every pseudo-Christian organization and church today, you'll find that their basic beliefs are okay. They do this to deceive the masses, to keep up appearances.

The founder of “Lucifer” Magazine in 1887, Helena Petrovna Blavatsky (1831-1891), and editor Annie Besant (1847-1933) along with other occultists, believed that Christian churches were the key to introducing the doctrines of Lucifer to large masses of people. The 1904 annual report of the Theosophical Society stated:

“I believe it is through the Churches and not through the Theosophical Society that Theosophy [the worship of Lucifer]... must and should come to large bodies of people in the West.” (Transactions of the Theosophical Society, H. P. Blavatsky, Annie Besant, 1904, p. 377)

And then just eight years later the 1912 report of the Theosophical Society stated:

“Our Lodges continue their propaganda work... Outside the Lodges many of the members engage in what is really Theosophical work such as lecturing, talking on the principles we are trying to put forward, preaching and other activities in connection with the Christian Churches and other organizations....” (Theosophist Magazine, Annie Besant, 1912, p. 88)

Nineteenth century occult mystic Fenton Hort is perhaps best known for his part in the work of the corrupt bible revision committee of 1881. Speaking on the subject of creating a new eclectic New Testament text Hort stated:

“At present very many orthodox but rational men are being unawares acted upon by influences which will assuredly bear good fruit in due time, if the process is allowed to go on quietly;” (Life and letters of Fenton John Anthony Hort, Vol. 1, 1896, p. 400)

In the Old Testament Jeremiah said that “their course is evil, and their force is not right” (Jeremiah 23:10). The apostle Paul warned, “And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light. Therefore it is no great thing if his ministers also be transformed as the ministers of righteousness; whose end shall be according to their works.” (2nd Corinthians 11:13-15). As you can plainly see for yourself, there has been a sinister plot by Satan's minions to infiltrate and corrupt Christianity in first world countries for well over a century.

It used to be difficult for me, as a born again child of God, to understand how Val Kilmer or anyone could be so gullible to fall for Satan's deception of Christian Science. But then I realized that they cannot see what I see, because the inspired Holy Bible says that Satan has blinded them. 2nd Corinthians 4:34, “But if our gospel be hid, it is hid to them that are lost: In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them.” I am truly saddened that almost assuredly Val Kilmer died in his sins without Jesus and is now burning in Hell forever, deceived by the Christian Science religious cult.

1st Thessalonians 5:18, “In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you.”

I love something that Pastor Jack Hyles (1926-2001) said: The expectation of nothing is the foundation of gratitude. In other words, if you expect nothing you will be grateful for everything.

We are living in one of the most spoiled generations in American history today. One of the main reasons is the television that has conditioned Americans to expect a certain quality of life that matches what they see on television. Some call it: Keeping up with the Jonses.

Our text passage of Scripture is 1st Thessalonians 5:18, “In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you.” The Holy Bible doesn't say to be thankful “for” every thing; but rather, “in” every thing. There is always something to be thankful for. I saw a married couple recently on the news whose house was totally destroyed by a tornado, but they were thankful to be alive and safe. That is what the Bible means.

The Scripture has much to say about maintaining a grateful spirit toward God at all times. Romans 1:21, “Because that, when they knew God, they glorified him not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened.” The first step downward in life is to become unthankful toward God.

A few years ago, I saw a disheveled looking homeless man in California being interviewed as he searched for food in a dumpster. I was humbled when he quoted Philippians 4:19, “But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus.” God bless that dear man! He relies on leftover food, scraps from restaurant customers, that he finds in a dumpster to provide his daily sustenance; and he is thankful to God for those meals.

If that poor man (like Lazarus in Luke 16:19-31) can be grateful to have so little, then we have no excuse. There are 10,080 minutes in each week. Have we thanked God with even one of them? I guarantee that if you will start being more grateful for what you have (and don't have), it will change your life. Happy people are not thankful people; thankful people are happy people.

Lord willing, I will turn 60 years old on March 5, 2027. At my age I cannot help but take notice whenever I hear about anyone dying in their fifties. Bill Bixby (1934-1993), who starred in The Hulk television series, died of prostate cancer at only age 59 (my age).

Famous Hollywood actor Humphrey Bogart (1899-1957) weighed only 80 pounds at the time of his death. Bogart was 5' 8" tall. He passed away on January 14, 1957, due to esophageal cancer. Bogart was only 57. Oh dear reader, life is so short. ...

Ecclesiastes 12:1, “Remember now thy Creator in the days of thy youth, while the evil days come not, nor the years draw nigh, when thou shalt say, I have no pleasure in them.”

I am now in the third act of my life. My chronic neck pain is debilitating. My continual burning nerves feel overwhelming. The right side of my body feels half asleep all the time. Both of my arms feel inflated with air. These are my heavy burdens to bear. But I know that my God is good and faithful. The Bible promises me a new glorified body just like Jesus' resurrected body when He returns. Philippians 3:21, “Who shall change our vile body, that it may be fashioned like unto his glorious body, according to the working whereby he is able even to subdue all things unto himself.”

Notice what the inspired Word of God says people will be like in the Last Days. 2nd Timothy 3:2, “For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy.” The vast majority of Americans today have become unthankful and unholy. Jesus' words have never rang more true than they do today in Mark 11:22b, “Have faith in God.”

Is Believing In Eternal Security Essential To Salvation?

John 10:27-29, “My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me: And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand. My Father, which gave them me, is greater than all; and no man is able to pluck them out of my Father's hand.”

God does not give anyone temporary life, He only gives eternal life. Eternal life and eternal security are not two separate doctrines; they are one and the same thing.

I was reading one of Dr. John R. Rice's (1895-1980) books today and read something that didn't set right with me. Here is what the famous evangelist writes:

Is believing in eternal security essential to salvation?

No, the doctrine of eternal security is not essential to salvation. You understand, when I go to the doctor with a desperate illness, it is essential that I go to the right doctor for healing. It is not essential that I know all about the diagnosis of my case, or that I know all the details of the remedy. It is enough that I turn the matter over in loving faith to the doctor. That is the way it is about Jesus Christ. None of us really know all the depths of wickedness of our hearts. We do not know fully the disease which cures us. But we can know we are sinners and we can know we must go to the doctor.

One does not even have to know fully the plan of salvation in order to be saved. You don't have to know the medicine if you go to the right doctor. He will decide the medicine. And even when we take it, by faith, we may not fully understand it.

This is made clear by several Scriptures. First, the Scripture says, “For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved” (Rom. 10:13). The publican in the temple who said, “God be merciful to me a sinner” (Luke 18:13), may not have known just how God had planned to pay for our salvation. But he called upon the Lord and went home justified.

The dying thief in Luke 23:39-43 said, “Lord remember me when thou comest into thy kingdom.” That was a very ignorant prayer, and yet Jesus saved him. The thing for a poor sinner to do is to come to Jesus and if he comes, Jesus does not cast him out, as is plainly promised in John 6:37.

One may be saved without knowing all about the plan of salvation. One can be saved without being even sure of salvation. I went for three years after I had trusted Christ without full assurance of salvation. But I had been saved and when the matter was cleared up by the Scriptures, then it became certain that I had been saved all along. You see, one does not have to be a graduate in theology to be saved. One who comes to Christ is saved. One who calls upon the Lord for salvation is saved. One who believes on Christ as Saviour is saved. These are all different ways of saying the same thing, They all describe how simple is saving faith.

Those who do not understand the matter of security of a believer are missing a great joy, I think, but that has nothing to do with whether or not they are saved. I agree with nearly everything that Dr. Rice wrote, with the exception that someone can deny the eternal security of a believer and still be saved. From Dr. Rice's viewpoint I would agree, if you simply mean that someone lacks the peace of knowing they are saved.

However, there are many deceived religious people (e.g., Roman Catholics, Seventh-Day Adventists, Jehovah's Witnesses, Church of God, et cetera) who sincerely think you can lose God's gift of salvation if you go into deep sin or abandon your Christian faith. In such cases it is absolutely paramount that someone believe in eternal security to be saved. Let me state three key premises at the start:

An individual’s ultimate salvation depends on maintaining faith and faithfulness to the end (by which I mean either the individual’s passing or the second advent).
None of us can predict the future or know for certain whether we will remain faithful to the end. Therefore,
logically speaking, it is impossible to have assurance of salvation. That concept is either a myth or, at best, a misapplication.

Apostates had a profession of faith in Jesus Christ at one time, but not the possession of faith (i.e., they were never born again). Their mouths spoke something other than what their hearts believed. Apostasy is not loss of salvation, but evidence of past pretension. They were never saved at all. They may have joined a professed “Christian” organization; such as, the Roman Catholic church, but they were never born again.

You don't get saved by living the Christian life. Satan's greatest weapon is to con people into living the Christian life without ever being born again. This is what the false prophets in Matthew 7:21-23 were guilty of doing. They boasted of having done “many wonderful works” in Jesus' name, but they had never completely rested in Christ's sacrifice on the cross for their sins. The true Gospel always points you to CHRIST; a false gospel always points to YOU. If salvation is truly by grace, then you don't need to start or stop anything to be saved. Eternal life is a free gift from God (Romans 6:23). One is saved by God's grace through faith in the finished work of His Son on the cross as payment in full as our pardon for sin.

Dr. Rice Mistitled His Question

It is plain to see from Brother Rice's answer that he is not talking about Eternal Security at all; but rather, someone who sincerely lacks a full understanding of the theological workings of God's plan of redemption, or someone who has doubts about their salvation. In sharp contrast, Eternal Security is the doctrine that once you are saved, you are always saved. This Bible truth is commonly expressed as: “Once Saved, Always Saved” (OSAS).

In my humble opinion, Dr. Rice should have titled his question: “Is Knowing That You're Saved Essential To Salvation?” or “Is Fully Understanding Salvation Essential To The New Birth?” You really do need to believe in Eternal Security to be saved, because if you think salvation depends upon your human efforts, performance or faithfulness in the least degree, you are not fully trusting Christ and are not saved. If you are trusting in Jesus plus water baptism (just in case), you are not saved. You just need to believe that Jesus did it all for you.

If you are trusting in Jesus plus trimming your toe nails once every ten years, you are not saved. I am being facetious of course, but you get the point. Salvation is promised by God only to the sinner who wholly rests in the finished redemptive work of Christ (i.e., the Gospel).

I agree with Dr. Rice from the standpoint that a person can be saved who still doubts their Eternal Security, just so long as they don't trust in their own performance, good works or faithfulness to stay saved. You don't have to believe in Eternal Security in the sense that you don't need to know for sure that you are saved; but this is not Eternal Security, it is Assurance.

People Only See What They Want To See

Isaiah 56:10, “His watchmen are blind: they are all ignorant, they are all dumb dogs, they cannot bark; sleeping, lying down, loving to slumber.”

The old adage is true: People only see what they want to see.

A ministry friend recently shared his frustration with me in dealing with a Roman Catholic friar. They were debating over Saint Augustine's negative views and comments concerning women. As expected, the Catholic Friar spoke high words of praise in defense of Augustine.

I wrote back to my friend and told him that I go through the same frustrating phenomena with professed Christian clergy all the time, who bizarrely insist that Martin Luther (1483-1546) was a born again Christian, when Luther's catechisms (which were written in 1529, twelve years after his alleged conversion to Christ in 1517) all require Sacramental Salvation to get to Heaven.

Martin Luther Taught That Water Baptism Saves

Tragically, many church pastors and layman alike only see what they want to see. There is nothing more dangerous than the inspired Holy Bible in the hands of an incompetent preacher. Isaiah 56:10, “His watchmen are blind: they are all ignorant, they are all dumb dogs, they cannot bark; sleeping, lying down, loving to slumber.”

People tend to only see what they want to see due to motivated perception, where our desires and beliefs influence our interpretations of reality. That is to say, we all see through a selfish filter. This can lead to biases in how we process information, often focusing on aspects that align with our preferences, beliefs or expectations. This is why the old adage is true: To the man with a hammer in his hand, everything looks like a nail sticking up.

In the Bible, the phrase “seeing they see not” refers to people who observe but fail to understand or perceive the truth. This concept is highlighted in Matthew 13:13b, where it states, “because they seeing see not; and hearing they hear not, neither do they understand.” Jesus spoke in parables to reveal the mysteries of the kingdom of God to those who seek the truth, while concealing the truth from those who are indifferent or hostile.

Matthew 13:13-15 “Therefore speak I to them in parables: because they seeing see not; and hearing they hear not, neither do they understand. And in them is fulfilled the prophecy of Esaias, which saith, By hearing ye shall hear, and shall not understand; and seeing ye shall see, and shall not perceive: For this people's heart is waxed gross, and their ears are dull of hearing, and their eyes they have closed; lest at any time they should see with their eyes, and hear with their ears, and should understand with their heart, and should be converted, and I should heal them.”

One of my favorite Bible teachers at Hyles-Anderson College (where I attended between 1985 to 1993 when I graduated) is Pastor Brad Strand in Texas, who writes:

Parables were given to illustrate doctrine, not to declare it.. In other words, it would be wrong to build a case for some doctrine on the basis of a parable. Parables were designed to teach a heavenly truth and to reveal some kind of character flaw within human nature, not exemplify doctrine. Only two of the forty-one parables given to us by Christ are explained by him (Parable # 5 - Mt 13:18-23 and Parable # 7 - Mt 13:24-30, 36-43), which sets the standard for the interpretation of all parables.

Christ used parables for 2 reasons:

To reveal truth (Mt 13:10-11) - Only the humble and spiritually awakened benefited from parables (Mt 11:25-26). As long as you were willing to admit having character flaws, you were able to benefit from parable
To conceal truth (Mk 4:10-12, Lk 8:9-10 and Acts 28:25-27) - Parables were used to hide truths from unreceptive hearts, which cared more about entertainment than salvation.

NOTE - Because there is no common accepted definition of the parable, it is difficult to say just how many parables are present in the Gospels. The exact number depends on one's definition of a parable. If the word parable is taken to include proverbs, riddles, and simple comparisons as well as those in story form, the number is about sixty in all. If one's interpretation of a parable does not include proverbs, riddles, and simple comparisons as well as those in story form, then Christ gives us a total of 41 parables.

While it is true that many of the Old Testament prophets and saints (righteous men) may not have understood the actual death, burial and resurrection of Christ (Lk 18:34 and 1 Peter 1:10A), it is also true that every Old Testament saint understood the “facts” behind the actual death, burial and resurrection of Christ, and it is the “facts” behind the Gospel that save a person (1 Cor. 15:1). —Pastor Brad Strand, 'The Strand Study Bible' (.PDF); commentary for Matthew 13:10, p. 1494

Bravo! That is beautiful. I bought five copies of The Strand Study Bible (2 new and 3 used). I wanted to get them before they're forever gone! I cannot recommend Brother Strand's study Bible enough. He is a brilliant Bible teacher, a sweet man and I cherish his work for Christ.

It is in our sinful human nature to only see what we want to see, which is why the inspired Scripture says in Proverbs 16:25, “There is a way that seemeth right unto a man, but the end thereof are the ways of death.”

Pastor Jack Hyles Blew It At The End Of This Sermon

Matthew 13:24-30, “Another parable put he forth unto them, saying, The kingdom of heaven is likened unto a man which sowed good seed in his field: But while men slept, his enemy came and sowed tares among the wheat, and went his way. But when the blade was sprung up, and brought forth fruit, then appeared the tares also. So the servants of the householder came and said unto him, Sir, didst not thou sow good seed in thy field? from whence then hath it tares? He said unto them, An enemy hath done this. The servants said unto him, Wilt thou then that we go and gather them up? But he said, Nay; lest while ye gather up the tares, ye root up also the wheat with them. Let both grow together until the harvest: and in the time of harvest I will say to the reapers, Gather ye together first the tares, and bind them in bundles to burn them: but gather the wheat into my barn.”

I am listening to a needful sermon by Pastor Jack Hyles titled, “The Parable Of The Tares And Wheat.” Our churches today are full of tares (unsaved people). With all the Devil's lies about repenting of your sins, inviting Jesus into your heart, inviting Him to become Lord of your life; and other junk to get to Heaven, it is no wonder why there are so many tares. Jesus made it very clear that the wheat and the tares look identical and you cannot tell them apart. There are lost religious people in churches everywhere today, who have never been born again.

Satan always imitates the real. Have you been born again dear friend? I sincerely hope that you will listen to Brother Hyles' sermon, it is so beautiful. Pastor Hyles mentions pianists, song leaders, deacons, Sunday School teachers, preachers and church members who came forward to be born again, after years of being involved in church.

Dear reader, have you been born again? I didn't ask if you are a member of a church. I didn't ask if you love Jesus. I didn't ask if you have prayed a prayer. I don't want to know if you are a good person. I don't want to know if you are familiar with Christianity. I am asking if you have been born from above by the Holy Spirit of God? You may fool everybody around you here on earth, but you cannot fool the angels and God. I was born again at age 13.

You were born spiritually dead, and so was I (Romans 5:12, Ephesians 2-12). The second death (Revelation 21:8) is not the same thing as being spiritually dead. The second death is to spend eternity burning in Hell (Revelation 20:11-15). Although we were all born spiritually dead (alienated from God), you don't have to die the second death. If you're born once, you die twice; if you're born twice, you die once. Is your name written in the Book of Life?

Since we were born spiritually dead, that is why we all need to be born again for the second time. You get “born again” by coming to God as a guilty sinner and by faith (taking God at His written Word) accepting Christ's sacrificial death on the cross as full payment for your sins, believing that Jesus was buried, but then bodily resurrected from the dead three days later. This is the Gospel according to 1st Corinthians 15:1-6. Your faith in the Gospel equals eternal life. Nothing more is required.

It doesn't matter if you are Baptist, Lutheran, Church of Christ, Roman Catholic, Jehovah's Witness, Seventh-Day Adventist or any other religion, “Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God” (John 3:3). Please trust Jesus Christ now for what He did to pay your debt of sin on Calvary's cross and be saved.

Pastor Hyles Perverted The Gospel In This Sermon

Unfortunately, I need to mention something about what Dr. Hyles said at the end of his sermon that is blatant damnable heresy. Here is the suggested sinner's prayer given in his invitation:

Oh God, be merciful to me a sinner. Save me now. This moment. This moment I receive the living Christ into my life, by faith. Would you do it? —Pastor Jack Hyles, 'The Parable Of The Tares And Wheat'

That is not the Gospel. That is not how a lost sinner gets to Heaven. Judas Iscariot received Jesus into his life, becoming one of His very apostles. Yet, Judas went to burn in Hell forever in his sins and unbelief. No one has ever been saved by inviting Christ into your life. Where is the death, burial and resurrection of Jesus? Where is the preaching of the cross? Hell is full of misled people who heard some preacher give them a shoddy presentation of the Gospel.

Ironically, Dr. Hyles' very purpose for preaching this beautiful sermon is because churches today are full of unsaved religious people who are living the Christian life without ever having been born again; and yet he is guilty of mishandling the Gospel himself here, which is the major reason for tares in the churches to begin with.

Furthermore, Dr. Hyles doesn't make it plain that you don't need to pray a sinner's prayer to get to Heaven, you can just believe. In sharp contrast, Pastor Hyles does defend a free grace Gospel in his excellent sermon titled, “Fundamentalist Heresy.”

Now, I love Brother Hyles, truly, and if someone had warned him about mishandling the Gospel as he just did, I am confident that he wouldn't have made the same mistake twice. You cannot show me one place in the inspired Holy Bible where someone was saved by inviting Christ into their life. In sharp contrast—in Acts 2:41 on the Day of Pentecost when 3,000 souls were saved, and in Acts 10:43-44 when Cornelius and his companions were saved, and in Acts 16:30-31 when the Roman jailer was saved—in each case they were born again by simply BELIEVING the Good News (Gospel) of Jesus' crucified for their sins, buried and risen the third day. Nothing more was required or permitted to be saved. Nobody repented of their sins.

I will go to seed in preaching against the utter nonsense and tommyrot in today's pulpits that to be saved you must invite Christ into your life, turn from your sinning, accept Jesus as the Lord of your life, repent of your sins, pray a sinner's prayer, turn over a new leaf, surrender all to Christ, live a lifestyle of repentance, run the race faithfully, and other mumbo-jumbo garbage. You get saved simply by believing that Jesus did it all for you.

Can You Explain The Judgment Seat Of Christ?

2nd Corinthians 5:10, “For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ; that every one may receive the things done in his body, according to that he hath done, whether it be good or bad.”

Notice that the Bible does not say that we will be judged for our "sins"; but rather, for the "good or bad." Jesus took the penalty for our sins upon Himself on Calvary's cross, so that “There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus...” (Romans 8:1a).

I like to illustrate the two coming judgments by comparing them to our earthly court system:

The Great White Throne of Judgment will be a Criminal Court, where the dead (unsaved) of all time throughout human civilization will be judged and sentenced to the Lake of Fire forever, without hope or rest (Revelation 14:11, 20:11-15, 21:8).
In contrast, the Judgment Seat of Christ will be a judgment only for Christian believers; a Civil Court where we stand to lose rewards, but there is no risk of imprisonment or corporal punishment (1st Corinthians 3:11-15; 2nd Corinthians 5:10-11). 1st Thessalonians 4:6, “That no man go beyond and defraud his brother in any matter: because that the Lord is the avenger of all such, as we also have forewarned you and testified.” Many saints will suffer shame, weep bitter tears, and have deep regrets in Heaven for their poor behavior while on earth.

So, although there is no condemnation for any saint regarding sins, we still must be held accountable for the GOOD and BAD done in the body. In Romans 12:19-21, God tells us not to avenge ourselves, because that is His job alone. The idea that a Christian can cheat, hurt and defraud others and won't be held accountable at the Judgment Seat of Christ is foreign to God's Word. In fact, God has promised to avenge all evil. I don't claim to understand it all. For now we see through a glass darkly (1st Corinthians 13:12), but when we see Christ we will understand it all by and by.

Celebrity O.J. Simpson (1947-2024) was acquitted in Criminal Court (he later admitted in a 2007 book titled, “If I Did It,” to murdering his wife and her lover), but he was found guilty in Civil Court and required to pay $33.5 million in damages (which he never did). In an intriguing twist of fate, Simpson's estate has awarded the Goldman family $58 million from Simpson's estate.

So, likewise, a Christian who has been justified (just if I'd never sinned at all) in Criminal Court, still must give account at the Judgment Seat of Christ for our choices here on earth, and we will be rewarded accordingly. It is noteworthy to point out that in both cases, for the saved (Revelation 14:13) and the unsaved (Revelation 20:13) alike, we will be judged ACCORDING TO OUR WORKS. The big difference is that the saved will be judged for our works as the redeemed children of God; whereas the unsaved (the damned) will be judged for their works as the children of the Devil.

Christ took our punishment upon Himself on the cross, so we will not be punished as believers for our foolish decisions, but we will still be held accountable which will affect our eternal rewards. The same precious blood of Jesus that saved us, keeps us saved. When we sin we have an Advocate (defense attorney) with the Father, Jesus the righteous (1st John 2:1). As believers we fall IN GRACE (Romans 5:20, 6:1), but never FROM GRACE. Those who trust in Lordship Salvation and turning from their sins (works) to get to Heaven, have fallen from grace (Galatians 5:4).

So, kindly said, Pastor Jack Hyles is simply saying that we must all give account to God at the Judgment Seat of Christ. Romans 14:12, “So then every one of us shall give account of himself to God.” The Bible doesn't mention "sin," it just says we will be held accountable for the "good or bad" (2nd Corinthians 5:10). Those people today who claim that since all of our sins were forgiven at the time of salvation, so that we will never have to give account to God, are very wrong and misled.

In my humble opinion, the illustration of Civil Court versus Criminal Court is helpful to understand the two future judgments. In Civil Court you're not at risk of going to prison (Hell), but you are at risk of monetary losses (rewards). And some harsh words may be spoken by the judge in a Civil Court (Psalms 6:1). Some people do cry, feel ashamed and have regrets in Civil Court. I hope that is helpful my friend.
