God Is Good

Psalms 145:9, “The LORD is good to all: and his tender mercies are over all his works.”

I prayed the other day for the lost serviceman in Iran. The two Airforce soldiers ejected when Iran shot down their F-15E military jet on Good Friday. The pilot was rescued quickly, but the Weapons Systems Officer (WSO) was missing in action. Thank God, he was rescued 36 hours later by his peers in the U.S. military. The soldiers were both wounded in the incident from shrapnel when their jet was attacked by Iranian fire. The missing airman made the right choices. He climbed a 7,000 foot mountain and hid in a ridge to evade capture, and then using his radio made contact on Good Friday, simply saying: “God is good.”

At first the U.S. military thought it might be a trap, because of the religious fanaticism of Islam. But his commanding officers recognized his strong Christian faith and confirmed that it was him. Thank God they had enough sense to accept the soldier's message as valid. The U.S. military went in and rescued their peer on Easter Sunday, thank God! What a blessing!

You definitely know there will be some great movies made about this incident. What a great story! Those two soldiers are an American hero. I am so grateful to God that the Iranian Guard didn't capture him, because they would have slowly tortured him to death on world television.

I am not a Zionist and I am disgusted over the needless murder of 75,722 innocent Palestinians in recent years by Israel, but that doesn't excuse Iran's tyranny. Both Jews and Arabs in the Middle East hate each other with a passion. I remember years ago that some radical Muslims in Palestine had captured an Israeli soldier and tortured him to death. The evildoers had blood all over their hands, literally, and were smiling as they tortured the young man to death. That is something I have never forgot. You couldn't pay me to live in Palestine!

God is good! Amen and amen. God is so good to all of us, whether you realize and acknowledge it or not friend. Psalms 145:9, “The LORD is good to all: and his tender mercies are over all his works.” Even if that Air Force soldier hadn't been rescued, God is still good. Thankfully he was rescued, and just in a nick of time. After being self-ejected from the jet, he was injured. Few people realize that the tremendous amount of ejection force can literally damage your spine. I am not sure what type of injuries he sustained, but I'm thinking he likely suffered some lacerations while landing hard.

I am so proud of that Air Force serviceman for honoring God during his hour of crisis. As far as the soldier knew, he was going to die on the Zagros mountain range. Of the thousands of things that he could have said over the radio, he chose to glorify God by uttering: “God is good.” The soldier didn't panic. He didn't lose it. He could merely have said: “Please help me” or “I'm okay guys” but he chose to say: “God is good.” What a beautiful thing! God is good dear reader.

U.S. military Secretary of War Pete Hegseth made a beautiful comparison between Good Friday/Easter and what happened to this Weapons Systems Officer. Their fighter jet went down on Good Friday and many people thought the soldier was dead, but then he resurrected alive on Easter Sunday from his situation. How fitting. Praise God!

The Safe Thing To Always Pray

Philippians 4:6-7, “Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God. And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.”

1st Thessalonians 5:17, “Pray without ceasing.”

I am making Puerto Rican pasteles today while my dog Pickles watches. I made the filling yesterday and am making the Masa today. Here is the recipe. I've been ordering ready-made pasteles (regular pork flavor) from New York from the Freakin' Rican restaurant, but they're so expensive, so I am trying to see if I can make them on my own. I love pasteles! I ordered the green bananas from Amazon. Unfortunately, stores don't sell green bananas in Pensacola. I thought you might like this too.

Onward! We are commanded by almighty God to pray continually. That simply means throughout the day as we think about things, we should take everything to the LORD in prayer. Supplications are long term prayer requests. When a sad thought enters into our mind, perhaps over something hurtful that somebody did to hurt us in the past, cast that care upon the Lord. 1st Peter 5:7, “Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you.”

So often when I pray to the Lord, I become frustrated because God rarely seems to answer my prayers. In fact, at age 59, I cannot even point to even one case of God (no ifs, ands or buts) answering one of my prayers. When it seemed that God answered my prayers, it could just as well have been coincidence. There is nothing wrong dear reader with being honest. To me an answer to prayer needs to be a miracle, not something that could have happened anyway.

I have corresponded with my Christian believers over the 24 years of my website ministry and they have testified the same thing, that it seems like God never answers their prayers. To be very honest, if I looked at my prayer life alone, I would become an atheist. But when I behold the moon, the stars, our Milky Way galaxy and the unsearchable universe, I do not question the existence and omnipotence of our omniscient and omnisapient and faithful God.

When I hear braggadocios Christians (or rather said, professed Christians) boasting that God answers their prayers all the time, I am extremely skeptical and I simply don't believe them. Charismatics in particular really upset me, making bold bogus claims of healing (always in some remote place like deep in Mexico where no cameras were present). It sickens me to the point of wanting to barf when I hear wacky Charismatics boasting of their fake miracles, unbelievable answers to prayer and speaking in tongues nonsense.

Please don't misunderstand dear reader, I DO believe in a miracle-working all powerful caring God. I am simply saying that for whatever reason, I have not seen such miracles in my life, and I resent when religious ungodly hypocrites falsely accuse me of not being filled with the Holy Spirit, or not having enough faith.

In 2009, the scumbag pastor of Victory Chapel Church on Guam (a Charismatic hellhole of false religion) verbally attacked me in a local business parking lot. I had just come out of the House of Brutis' restaurant (no longer in business) and in front of two of his victim church members, the pastor told me that I wouldn't have needed neck surgery if I had been filled with the Holy Spirit. As the gentleman that I am, I kindly smiled and said nothing, but wanted to tell him in Jesus' name to go to Hell. Sadly, he's already headed there in his damnable heresy of Lordship Salvation.

As I mentioned, I often get discouraged when I pray. I am not saying that God has never answered my prayers. That would be presumptuous of me. I simply do not know. I am sure that the good LORD has answered many of my prayers, even before I asked for something, but He answered in ways that I did not anticipate. My mother use to wisely say that God works in mysterious ways. That is what the Bible teaches in Isaiah 55:7-9, “Let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts: and let him return unto the LORD, and he will have mercy upon him; and to our God, for he will abundantly pardon. For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the LORD. For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts.” Don't try to figure out God, because you won't.

I thank God for His never-ending love, provisions and blessings. God has always provided for me and taken good care of this broken redeemed undeserving wretched sinner. I have absolutely no complaints to God. But when I go to pray and start to feel like it's just a big waste of my time, I always resort to a safe prayer. which is simply to ask God that His will be done. That way no matter what happens, I didn't set myself up for a disappointment. I still sometimes ask God for a specific thing, but I always add the words (as did Meshach, Shadrach and Abednego when about to be thrown into the fiery furnace), “But if not.” Daniel 3:18, “But if not, be it known unto thee, O king, that we will not serve thy gods, nor worship the golden image which thou hast set up.”

By God's grace, I will continue to pray about everything for the remainder of my time on earth, because that is what God commands me to do to please Him as His redeemed child. If God answers my prayers, great; BUT IF NOT, blessed be the name of the Lord. Job 13:15, “Though he slay me, yet will I trust in him: but I will maintain mine own ways before him.” I refuse to sinfully place God on trial as the heathen world does, challenging His existence and power. Romans 1:20 warns that atheists are all WITHOUT EXCUSE, because even nature itself proves the existence of God.

I love Jesus and thank Him for dying on Calvary's cruel cross 2,000 years ago for my many sins. I am so unworthy of Christ's love and sacrifice. THANK YOU GOD!!!

By God's grace, I will continue to pray without ceasing for the spiritual needs of OTHERS, and for the Lord to work through my humble ministry labors to reach and build OTHERS for Christ. My only heart's desire all my life as a Christian has been for God to use me as a vessel to His purpose and glory. I am God's servant. Damn the torpedoes!

I suspect that a lot of my ministry blog readers feel like you're wasting your time when you pray, but I assure you on the authority of the Scripture that you are not dear friend. I don't believe that prayer makes a difference. You read right! I believe that GOD MAKES A DIFFERENCE!!! I don't believe in the power of prayer, I believe in the power of God.

Jesus acknowledged in Matthew 6:7-8 that even heathens pray, “But when ye pray, use not vain repetitions, as the heathen do: for they think that they shall be heard for their much speaking. Be not ye therefore like unto them: for your Father knoweth what things ye have need of, before ye ask him.” Big deal if you pray. Do you have faith in God?

I used to feel that since God doesn't appear to answer my prayers, perhaps it was because there was sin in my life. Who doesn't have sin in their life? I worried that maybe it was because I listened to some secular music, or watched a Hollywood movie, or didn't do something that I should have done that was right to do. That kind of thinking will make you paranoid and nuts. Dear reader, religious scrupulosity will drive you crazy if you let it!!!

I encourage you to keep on keeping on in your prayers. Never stop asking God for what you need, and for the needs of your loved ones and the people you meet. Prayer is not preparation for the greater work; Prayer is the grater work! Never stop casting your cares, burdens and hurt feelings upon the LORD. NEVER!!! By casting your cares upon the Lord, you can walk away with “the peace of God, which passeth all understanding” (Philippians 4:7b).

But when you are not sure what to pray, or feel frustrated as I often do, just pray that God's will be done and then completely REST in the goodness and wisdom of God. The old adage is very true: When you cannot see the HAND of God at work, trust the great HEART of God.

In closing, when it comes to why God never seems to answer my prayers, I have two consuming thoughts to help you:

God In Luke 18:1 Jesus said, “And he spake a parable unto them to this end, that men ought always to pray, and not to faint.” And then He tells a story about The Unjust Judge. A widow appeared in court before the judge, but the Bible says he was a heathen man who couldn't have cared less about avenging the widow. But she kept bothering the judge, coming back day after day, until he finally relented to give her what she wanted. This is called IMPORTUNITY, which the Bible teaches please God. Jesus used this story as an illustration of a Christian's prayer life. Literally, Jesus is teaching that GOD WILL IGNORE US WHEN WE PRAY, not because He doesn't care, but because a faith must be tested. Hebrews 11:6 says without faith no man can please God.
The Bible plainly teaches in 2nd Corinthians 5:7, “For we walk by faith, not by sight.” When we pray and become discouraged by not seeing visible results, we are walking BY SIGHT, not by faith. This is why I stopped looking for visible results several years ago. Now I just pray and TRUST the character of my faithful God and Savior, knowing that He is all wise, all loving and all powerful; and that is exactly what God desires for us as His saints, and why He seems to ignore us in the first place. God is still on His throne dear reader, and the good Lord knows what He is doing.

One of my favorite songs is Garth Brook's 1990 song, 'Thank God For Unanswered Prayers.' Just because God doesn't answer doesn't mean that He don't care. Some of God's greatest gifts are unanswered prayers. That is why I nowadays just pray for God's will to be done, because I know enough to be dangerous in my prayer life. Romans 8:26, “Likewise the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities: for we know not what we should pray for as we ought: but the Spirit itself maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered.” I sure don't know what to pray for. I need the good Lord's help.

I encourage everyone to keep praying, knowing that we walk by faith and not by sight. Trust the great heart of our good and faithful God.

Fake Bible Versions Say Religion Makes Us Rich

1st Timothy 6:5, “Perverse disputings of men of corrupt minds, and destitute of the truth, supposing that gain is godliness: from such withdraw thyself.”

There is no nothing any more evil than today's satanic Bible versions. First I'll quote the accurate King James Bible, and then take a look at what the Devil's modern Bible versions do to corrupt God's Word...
King James Bible (KJB) — 1 Timothy 6:6, “But godliness with contentment is great gain.”

Easy-To-Read Version (ERV) — 1 Timothy 6:6, “Devotion to God is, in fact, a way for people to be very rich, but only if it makes them satisfied with what they have.”

Good News Translation (GNT) — 1 Timothy 6:6, “Well, religion does make us very rich, if we are satisfied with what we have.”

International Children's Bible (ICB) — 1 Timothy 6:6, “It is true that serving God makes a person very rich, if he is satisfied with what he has.”

New Century Version (NCV) — 1 Timothy 6:6, “Serving God does make us very rich, if we are satisfied with what we have.”

The KJB doesn't say that devotion to God makes us “rich.” Serving God doesn't make us “very rich.” It is clear that the new versions mean financial wealth, because they say it is okay to be rich if we are satisfied with what we have; but that is not what the King James Bible says. The Holy Bible is speaking about riches that money cannot buy, not earthly wealth.

I could go on and on and quote hundreds more perversions of the Scriptures! All modern Bible revisions are of satanic origin!!! The average shameful church pastor today couldn't care less. They are sinfully proud and arrogant, more loyal to their clergy peers than they are to the Lord Jesus Christ, whom they falsely claim to love. May I remind everyone that Jesus is the living Word of God.

John 1:1-3 and 14, “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. The same was in the beginning with God. All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made. ... And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.”

If You're Saved And Content With God's Blessings, You Have Great Gain

The King James Bible accurately teaches that godliness (the Gospel, that is, being saved) with contentment (being satisfied from yourself) is great gain. In other words, if your name is written in Heaven, you can be content with just basic provisions in life. We were born into this world with nothing, and we're going to die and leave this world with nothing (1st Timothy 6:7).

Proverbs 14:14, “The backslider in heart shall be filled with his own ways: and a good man shall be satisfied from himself.” Pastor Jack Hyles (1926-2001) used to say that there are two ways to be rich: Either have all you want, or want all you have! I like that. If your name is written in Heaven, you have something that very few people will ever have, eternal life. Learn to make the best of the blessings you DO HAVE from God, instead of always dwelling upon what you DON'T HAVE. We have much to be grateful for in life. Some of the wealthiest people in this world are hellbound in their sins, paranoid, at war with God, miserable and very unhappy in life.

The greatest things in life aren't things! Many people are miserable, who don't love the Lord, and only live for this temporary world. Pastor Dwight L. Moody (1837-1899) once said that the only happy life is to live for the salvation of souls! Amen!!! When all else fails, at least I know that I have a home in Heaven, and have been laying up rewards for many years, winning souls to Christ. Fame and fortune cannot buy that! The true measurement of my success in life won't be how many people show up to say goodbye at my funeral; but rather, it will be how many people are waiting to greet me when I get to Heaven!

Does Joining With A Harlot Make You Married To Her?

1st Corinthians 6:16, “What? know ye not that he which is joined to an harlot is one body? for two, saith he, shall be one flesh.”

In ancient times, many marriage unions were informal or based on mutual consent without legal recognition, evolving over time to include legal contracts and ceremonies recognized by governments and religious institutions. It doesn't matter if a couple is married in court, under water, on a mountain, on a llama, et cetera.

The faithful LORD honors and recognizes court marriages as much as He does a church marriage. One is no more or less valid than the other, although a Christian might find some greater memorable value in a church wedding. The marriage is officially consummated when carnal knowledge takes place.

The Bible teaches in 1st Corinthians 6:16, "What? know ye not that he which is joined to an harlot is one body? for two, saith he, shall be one flesh." When an unmarried man and a woman fornicate, there is a union, a "soul tie" is created. It is not the same as a marriage union, where a commitment is exchanged. If joining with a harlot were to form a new marriage, then how could a husband commit adultery? 1 Corinthians 6:16 discusses the idea that if someone unites with a prostitute, they become one body with her, reflecting the biblical concept that sexual union creates a deep lasting bond. This verse emphasizes the seriousness of sexual relationships and suggests that such actions can have significant spiritual implications.

To engage in sexual relations with someone is to share the deepest part of yourself. That union should be reserved for the covenant of marriage where true commitment exists. Remember that your body is not just a physical entity. It is a dwelling place for the Holy Spirit, and the choices you make have spiritual implications.

The Corinthian culture, known for its wicked sexual liberality like America today, stood in stark contrast to the teachings of Jesus Christ. Consequently, the Apostle Paul urges believers to understand that their bodies are not their own, but of God. The believer's body is the temple of the blessed indwelling Holy Spirit (1st Corinthians 3:16-17).

Getting married anywhere (including in a court of law) is a real marriage. Marriage is sacred in God's sight, not to be taken lightly. Sadly, we live in a throw away society in America today. It is much easier to sin when nearly everybody else is sinning.

How To Walk With God

James 4:6-11, “But he giveth more grace. Wherefore he saith, God resisteth the proud, but giveth grace unto the humble. Submit yourselves therefore to God. l encourage you to listen to Pastor Hyles' life changing sermon dear friend. There's no secret to walking with God. As a redeemed child of God, you just need to spend time with Him by meditating in His inspire Word (Psalms 1:1-3). Learn to love the inspired King James Bible. Psalms 139:17, “How precious also are thy thoughts unto me, O God! how great is the sum of them!” Listen to lots of fundamentalist Bible preaching, pray about everything (Philippians 4:6-8). Although I don't agree with Pastor Steven L. Anderson on several doctrinal issues, he is one of the finest soulwinning preachers of our generation. Faithful Word Baptist Church in Phoenix, Arizona (for 2025 to 2026) led 10,121 lost sinners to Jesus Christ. Brother Anderson personally led 182 people to faith in Jesus Christ.

To walk with God, maintain a thankful spirit continually toward God (1st Thessalonians 5:18). The Holy Bible is the most wonderful Book I've ever read. It is a Living Book (Hebrews 4:12). Acts 4:13, “Now when they saw the boldness of Peter and John, and perceived that they were unlearned and ignorant men, they marvelled; and they took knowledge of them, that they had been with Jesus.” When you walk with God, you will be emboldened to stand for truth and righteousness. That is why I preach boldly the way I do, unapologetically with uncompromising truthfulness and transparency. That is why for the past 24 years of website ministry, as a Christian missionary to cyberspace, I have never received a single penny for my 50,000 hours of diligent labor day and night for my blessed God and Savior.

Ye Must Be Born Again

Dear reader, if you have not been born again, you can never walk with God (Romans 8:9). God's wrath rests upon the head of anybody who isn't saved (Psalms 7:11). John 3:36, “He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him.” If you don't know 100% that your name is recorded in Heaven, you can know right now (1st John 5:13).

If you want to go to Heaven, simply acknowledge that you are a guilty sinner under the condemnation of God's Old Testament law (Romans 3:19-20). There is a penalty for your sin, which is to spend eternity burning in the fires of Hell (Revelation 14:11, 20:11-15, 21:8). That's the BAD NEWS! The 'GOOD NEWS' (i.e., GOSPEL) is that God the Father sent His only begotten (biological) Son into the world to die in your place on Calvary's cross 2,000 years ago. Jesus paid a debt He did not owe, because we owed a debt of sin we could not pay.

To be saved, you must come to God by faith (taking God at His written Word) as a needy sinner. You need to know what your being saved from. Simply accept Christ's sacrificial death on the cross as full payment for your sins, believing that He was buried, but then miraculously resurrected from the dead three days later. This is “the gospel” according to 1st Corinthians 15:1-6. BELIEVE IT, oh sinner, and the work is done.

Romans 1:16, “For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek.” I LOVE THAT! The Gospel is the “power” of God to save whosoever BELIEVES IT. The Gospel is not good advice to be lived, it is GOOD NEWS to be believed. Satan's greatest weapon is to con people into living the Christian life without ever being born again. It's not what you're doing that gets you to Heaven, it's where you're looking. LOOK TO JESUS! Isaiah 45:22, “Look unto me, and be ye saved, all the ends of the earth: for I am God, and there is none else.”

That is what it means in John 3:14-15, “And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of man be lifted up: That whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have eternal life.” God had sent fiery deadly serpents to bite the Hebrews as a consequence of their persistent complaining against God and Moses. God sent serpents to bite the Hebrews as a punishment for their complaints and lack of faith during their journey in the Wilderness. This incident led them to recognize their sin and seek God's mercy, which He provided by instructing Moses to create a bronze serpent for healing. Moses instructed the Jews to LOOK AND LIVE! ...

Numbers 21:7-9, “Therefore the people came to Moses, and said, We have sinned, for we have spoken against the LORD, and against thee; pray unto the LORD, that he take away the serpents from us. And Moses prayed for the people. And the LORD said unto Moses, Make thee a fiery serpent, and set it upon a pole: and it shall come to pass, that every one that is bitten, when he looketh upon it, shall live. And Moses made a serpent of brass, and put it upon a pole, and it came to pass, that if a serpent had bitten any man, when he beheld the serpent of brass, he lived.”

That brass serpent which Moses made symbolized Jesus Christ, the sinless Lamb of God who became as sin for us sinners who knew no righteousness (2nd Corinthians 5:21). The way to be saved dear reader is to simply come to God by faith as a guilty sinner (bitten by the serpent of sin), and LOOK TO JESUS! It's that easy, free and simple to get to Heaven.

John 6:28-29, “Then said they unto him, What shall we do, that we might work the works of God? Jesus answered and said unto them, This is the work of God, that ye believe on him whom he hath sent.”

Family Baptist Church Kicked Us Out Over Modesty

Ephesians 4:20-32, “But ye have not so learned Christ; If so be that ye have heard him, and have been taught by him, as the truth is in Jesus: That ye put off concerning the former conversation the old man, which is corrupt according to the deceitful lusts; And be renewed in the spirit of your mind; And that ye put on the new man, which after God is created in righteousness and true holiness. Wherefore putting away lying, speak every man truth with his neighbour: for we are members one of another. Be ye angry, and sin not: let not the sun go down upon your wrath: Neither give place to the devil. Let him that stole steal no more: but rather let him labour, working with his hands the thing which is good, that he may have to give to him that needeth. Let no corrupt communication proceed out of your mouth, but that which is good to the use of edifying, that it may minister grace unto the hearers. I highly encourage you to read the entire chapter of Ephesians 4, because it all goes together. God wants us as redeemed saints to put off the old carnal man. God wants us to be renewed in our mind. That is, the LORD wants our thinking to be brought into line with the inspired Scripture (2nd Corinthians 10:5-6). I have told people for years that I am as narrow-minded as the King James Bible. Amen.

I want to quote a portion of our text passage, because this TRUTH is so life changing. Ephesians 4:21-24, “But ye have not so learned Christ; If so be that ye have heard him, and have been taught by him, as the truth is in Jesus: That ye put off concerning the former conversation the old man, which is corrupt according to the deceitful lusts; And be renewed in the spirit of your mind; And that ye put on the new man, which after God is created in righteousness and true holiness.” Boy, I sure love that truth!

That being said, no professed Christian women who wears pants in public has put on the nee man which is after Christ. She is carnally-minded, immature, backslidden and worldly. And any henpecked husband who defends his wife wearing immodest clothing is in the same sinking boat. I have the inspired Word of God on my side in this important matter.

Family Baptist Church in Pensacola Kicked Us Out

On the Sunday morning in June of 2025 that Pastor Bobby Moffett shamefully told me and my wife that we're no longer welcomed at Family Baptist Church in Pensacola, he threw it in my face that I referred to Bob Jones University as: “God damned.” I make no apologies for my preaching! I stand 100% behind my biblical comment about Bob Jones University (BJU). Here is my exact comment that Pastor Bobby Moffett read on my ministry website:

Since [Sean] Quinlan foolishly rebuked me publicly at the entrance of the church, I had to rebuke him back in public in front of his own people, because it was a matter of THE TRUTH. I shouted as I was leaving: “SHAME ON YOU!!!” And I'd gladly do it again 10,000 times!!! I wasn't about to let that fool defend Lordship Salvation, Devil's Bibles, Martin Luther's Baptismal Regeneration and the God damned Bob Jones University crowd! No pastor has a right to hide behind his clergy position while defending gross Satanic error (Titus 1:10-14; Jude 1:3; Ephesians 5:11). Pastor Quinlan falsely accused me of being "obsessed" over the Holy Bible. Yes, you better believe I am "OBSESSED" over the Bible, and so too should you be friend. SOURCE

The Bible is very clear in Galatians 1:6-8, “I marvel that ye are so soon removed from him that called you into the grace of Christ unto another gospel: Which is not another; but there be some that trouble you, and would pervert the gospel of Christ. But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed.” So, it is very appropriate for me (or any other preacher) to refer to the Calvinist false prophets at BJU as “God damned.” Only a fool would disagree. And by the way, Bobby and Brad Moffett (and their sick Family Baptist Church in Pensacola) are also GOD DAMNED for perverting the Gospel with their heretical “repent of your sins” garbage to get to Heaven, which is nowhere taught in the King James Bible. That unbiblical statement is in their official church's Statement of Faith.

So, why did Bobby “Dingleberry” Moffett attack me in the church parking lot with false accusations? I'll tell you why, it is because his worldly wife (and his worldly daughter in law) wear their ungodly pants in public. They resent and hate my fundamentalist Bible preaching on my ministry websites. I never told them about my websites in the 45 months that I attended their church (2021-2025), they went and found my ministry on their own, and they despise me for what I stand for and preach. Wicked neo-evangelicals despise Bible fundamentalists! They always have and they always will!

Shame On Pastor Brad Moffett's Ungodly Wife

When my modest wife arrived with a full-length dress at their Family Baptist Church Memorial Day picnic in 2025 at the Lilian Recreational Park in Alabama, the pastor's ungodly wife instantly felt like a whore. We saw it all over her face. She refused to even greet my wife, which is telling. Without saying a single word, the pastor's wife felt convicted. You see, that's what happens when you commit sin, you flee when no man pursueth in paranoia. Proverbs 28:1, “The wicked flee when no man pursueth: but the righteous are bold as a lion.”

But that's not all, the pastor's horrible wife was so irked by our very presence, that she walked over 50 feet to our picnic table and said: “I like your shorts!” to a young teenager girl sitting next to us. Of all the thousands of things she could have said to that girl, do you really think for one moment that she randomly just chose those words? Not a chance! She didn't stop at the three picnic tables in front of us. No, she walked all the way over to our table to provoke us as fundamentalist Christians, and to defiantly let us know that she isn't doing anything wrong to wear her immodest pants. Woe, woe unto that ungodly pastor's wife.

Brad Moffett Wickedly Slandered Pastor Jack Hyles

And woe unto Brad Moffett (her henpecked husband) for sanctioning his wife's immodest attire (Proverbs 7:10). I am going to go to seed in this matter of preaching against women's immodesty!!! 1st Timothy 2:9, “In like manner also, that women adorn themselves in modest apparel, with shamefacedness and sobriety; not with broided hair, or gold, or pearls, or costly array.” Brad kept challenging me to show him from the Bible where it says that women cannot wear pants. That's the same wicked argument that homosexuals keep making today, challenging the Word of God. Genesis 3:1b, “ Yea, hath God said...”

It was this very article on my website that started the whole ordeal. Dear reader, in the book of Acts in the New Testament when the disciples of Jesus preached THE TRUTH, either revival or a riot always ensued. THE TRUTH is only hate to those who HATE the truth. The Moffett family are not right with God. Their wicked wives are defiant against God's Word in the matter of public decency and modesty. A century ago you couldn't find a female in the United States wearing a pair of pants. Even 75 years ago women all wore skirts or dresses in 1951.

The Satanic women's liberation movement of the 1960s and 1970s finally helped to break down the biblical stigma against women wearing pants, plunging our culture into the depths of Satan. Do you really think that the evils of fornication, abortion, adultery, divorce, murder, covetousness, homosexuality, corporate greed, substance abuse, neglecting the poor and every other form of wickedness imaginable just coincidentally followed the women's liberation movement in America? I hope you're not that naïve. One evil begets another evil.

I Don't Have A Dirty Mind, I Have A Man's Mind

Bobby Moffett's wicked son (also the church pastor) shamefully slandered my hero of the Christian faith Pastor Jack Hyles (1926-2001), essentially calling him a carnally-minded dirty old man when I met with Brad in his church office in April of 2025. Pastor Brad uttered this slander in response to Dr. Hyles' truthful statement, quote: “I don't have a dirty mind, I have a man's mind” (it is in this article that I quote Dr. Hyles). Dear reader, you'll never hear a more truer statement than what Brother Hyles just said.

A fella doesn't have to be a dirty-minded pervert to think an impure thought when he sees a pretty pastor's wife wearing pants at a church picnic, because he is a man. I can tell you that when I saw Brad's wife wearing her tight pants last year, I wasn't thinking: “Amazing Grace.” I was thinking: “Honey, sit on my face.” Perhaps you say, “You have a dirty mind.” No, I have a normal man's mind, and any honest fella and legitimate psychologist would agree.

Male lust is considered a normal aspect of human sexuality. Research indicates that men experience sexual desire frequently, often more intensely than women, but this does not imply that all men are constantly consumed by lust (1st Peter 2:11). Men are aroused by sight. Pastor Brad actually argued this biological FACT with me in his office, claiming that it's not true. The guy has some serious theological and spiritual issues.

I Refuse To Let This Matter Over Modesty Go

I won't be quiet in this matter. Being kicked out of one's church family was cruelty on their part, but we did nothing to hurt them. We were their friends. It was Bobby Moffett's ungodly way of hurting us, because he is angry that my truthful fundamentalist Bible preaching exposes their counterfeit plan of salvation, and the worldliness of his wicked wife and daughter in law. So, instead of them repenting to do what is right in God's sight, it was much easier for them to just throw me and my wife under the bus. Woe unto Family Baptist Church and their God damned pastors on Judgment Day!!!

The Bible warns in Matthew 7:1-2, “Judge not, that ye be not judged. For with what judgment ye judge, ye shall be judged: and with what measure ye mete, it shall be measured to you again. And why beholdest thou the mote that is in thy brother's eye, but considerest not the beam that is in thine own eye?” They wrongfully condemned us and kicked us out of our church family. They didn't even have the decency to talk with us first, because they know that they are in the wrong. They just wanted to effectively murder us, to make us go away permanently, but in so doing they murdered Jesus! Matthew 25:40, “And the King shall answer and say unto them, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done it unto me.”

I forgive them for the horrible wicked things they did to us. God knows that I love Pastor Brad and am grateful for the truths I learned from him over 45 months. I have nothing against his wife, but I do have something against her immodest attire and flagrant attitude about it. I do not hate Brad's verbally abusive father, but the guy is a grudge holding jerk. Bobby is rude, unkind, arrogant and has no business being a pastor since he woefully lacks God's love.

Nobody has a right to dismissive Bobby's abusive behavior with such excuses as: “Well, that's just the way he is” or “We'll, we're all sinners.” Being a sinner doesn't give anyone a license to be unkind, abusive and rude to people. The first time I introduced my wife to Pastor Bobby, he rudely snapped at me while we were talking with him. Bobby has anger issue with people and needs psychiatric help. Mr. Moffett needs to repent of his contempt for others, and get right with God.

Bobby Moffett continually brags about having started four churches, but the truth is that their carnal religious social club has merely moved into four different buildings over the years. He has a false sense of pride. Proverbs 20:6, “Most men will proclaim every one his own goodness: but a faithful man who can find?” They've been unfaithful to rightly divide the Word of Truth, guilty of perverting God's simple plan of salvation. Repenting of your sins to be saved is damnable heresy, a false teaching which cannot produce the required new birth to enter into God's Kingdom. RIGHT DOCTRINE MATTERS!!!

I am not belaboring the wickedness that happened at Family Baptist Church merely because they hurt us. God will deal harshly with them, the same way that they harshly dealt with us unjustly. What goes around comes around (Galatians 6:7). I am making a big fuss because they are defending the sin of immodesty at Family Baptist Church. They are defending the sin of preaching another gospel. They are defiant against the inspired Word of God. Somebody's got to care ladies and gentlemen. Psalms 94:16, “Who will rise up for me against the evildoers? or who will stand up for me against the workers of iniquity?”

God knows that I love the folks at Family Baptist Church, but they shamefully kicked us out of our church family because they are not right with God. They are wrong and they know it. Me and Alice refused to take their shame upon us. And lest anybody falsely accuse me of causing trouble in a church, I never once in the 45 months that I attended their church made any mention of women wearing pants in the church, because it was none of my business.

In fact, it was their ungodly henpecked pastor and his bratty worldly wife who took issue with my fundamentalist website ministry, and drew first blood, for which they will give account to our holy God in Heaven. Pastor Brad boldly declared with contempt in his office on April 30th, 2025: “I am not a fundamentalist!” Yeah, no kidding, who would have guessed? We are innocent in the matter, but they must give account for preaching another gospel, promoting worldliness in the church, and for kicking God's children out the door for telling the truth.

Don't Let Religious Scrupulosity Drive You Crazy

1st John 3:18-21, “My little children, let us not love in word, neither in tongue; but in deed and in truth. And hereby we know that we are of the truth, and shall assure our hearts before him. For if our heart condemn us, God is greater than our heart, and knoweth all things. Beloved, if our heart condemn us not, then have we confidence toward God.”

Dear reader, you have to be really careful with our text passage of Scripture. Although it is true that we will have confidence toward God if our heart doesn't condemn us in the things which we allow in our life (e.g., booze, movies, rock music, smoking, missing church, et cetera), it is also true that many people needlessly torture themselves with guilt because of paranoia over what God thinks. I am guilty of doing this, which is why I am writing about it, to help you.

I am not an optimist nor a pessimist, I am a realist. The old adage is very true: There is a fine line between faith and foolishness. Many adults struggle with Religious Scrupulosity. Most people suffer from much milder forms of the disorder than severe cases, as I also do sometimes. Honestly, I think we all do.

And we must differentiate between legitimate feelings of guilt or Holy Spirit conviction due to present sins in our life (which is a good thing); versus feeling guilt or conviction for eating a steak, or for watching a Hollywood movie, listening to secular music, missing church because you need a break from church, or guilt over sins committed decades ago that you've done all you can to rectify (these are all bad things). Yes, these are realities of life that few Bible preachers are honest enough to admit.

It Is Not A Sin To Miss Church; Ignore The Idiots

It all depends on why you're missing church. I suffer horribly day and night from stenosis and radiculitis in my cervical spine due to being severely rear-ended by a church bus 34 years ago in 1992 (which accident left the bus behind our vehicle in pieces on the street), and a 15' fall at work in 2005 that worsened my injury. I underwent two major neck surgeries in 2009 and 2010 the second of which made me 100% worse. I suffer 24/1 from burning nerves throughout my upper body, debilitating tension and pain in the bony area in back of my neck, the whole right side of my body feeling half asleep, et cetera.

That being said, sitting through a church service for me is torture! I rarely make it to church these days, or anywhere else. I just need to stay home where I am safe. I used to feel Religious Scrupulosity, guilt for missing church. Even after being forced out, kicked out and banned from six wicked neo-evangelical churches over the past 12 years, for merely TELLING THE TRUTH on my fundamentalist ministry website, they all despised and rejected me for one reason or another. People can be so cruel.

Those ungodly churches are; namely, Harvest Baptist Church on Guam (Pastor Marty Herron), Agana Heights Baptist Church on Guam, Lighthouse Baptist Church on Guam (Pastor Sean Quinlan), Campus Church at Pensacola Christian College (Pastor Jeff Redlin), Smyrna Baptist Church in Pensacola (Pastor Bill Adams), Family Baptist Church in Pensacola (Pastors' Bobby and Brad Moffett). These are prisonhouses of religion, not New Testament churches! They are ALL pathetically WRONG on repentance and the Gospel of free grace!!! SHAME! RUN from these hellholes of apostasy!!!

People are quitting the churches today to walk closer with God. Please don't misunderstand my Bible preaching. We should go to church. The Bible says in Hebrews 10:25, “Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching.” But this passage of inspired Scripture doesn't mean that you should attend a corrupt church, which is effectively a theological cult if they are wrong on Bible repentance and the Gospel.

Nor does that passage of Scripture mean you should go to church sick so you can infect everyone else. If you are suffering in physical pain, as I do continually, God understands if you stay home. Nobody listens to as much Bible preaching at home as I do. Yet, I have heard pastors foolishly say that if you have to crawl, you should be at church three times a week. Humbly said, I couldn't disagree more! If you are not careful dear reader, other people will drive you crazy with guilt, paranoia and resentment; and you might become bitter as you grow older. I have had to pray much for God's love, wisdom, understanding and patience to cope with self-righteous hypocrites in churches, who like to take liberties to comment about your life.

When I attended the Harvest Baptist Church back in 2014, a young fella in the Navy scolded me for missing church the previous Sunday. I was old enough to be his father. He asked where I was on Sunday and I told him the truth that I was suffering in excruciating burning neck pain. He made the snide remark to me, “Forsake not the assembling of ourselves together, Brother.” I felt like cussing him out in Jesus' name. What a hypocritical little jerk! But as I often do, I just stayed quiet and absorbed his insensitive and unkind insult. What a hypocrite!

I had one hypocritical woman in 2018 scold me for not coming to the Light House Baptist Church on Guam every week. I explained that I am suffering in much neck pain. She said there is another man in the church with a heart condition, and she said he takes the same medications that I do, and he attends church regularly. I am a gentleman and tend to let people mistreat me, as I did that day. First, she was way out of line for not minding her own business, but I just stayed quiet and let her play the fool. Second, the alleged man with the heart condition is not taking the same prescription drugs as I am for chronic neck pain, radiating pain, burning nerves, et cetera. Years later that same woman quit church with her husband. What a hypocrite! I'm telling you dear reader, people will drive you bonkers if you let them. There are millions of wounded people who no longer go to church, because some self-righteous POS hurt their feelings by playing God with their life.

Neo-evangelicals Hate Me As A Fundamentalist Christian

God knows that I have been ruthlessly kicked out of six churches since 2009 (3 on Guam, 3 in Pensacola). Seven churches if you go back to 2001. My own father kicked me out of his church. My Dad was a Moody Bible Institute graduate in Chicago, a neo-evangelical. He hated my Bible preaching against booze, movies and sin. Moody college went liberal a half century ago. All my adult life I have been despised, persecuted and rejected by neo-evangelical pastors, even my own father. They are arrogant, wrong on God's simple plan of salvation, and they all have low moral standards. They detest me as a fundamentalist, which is exactly why neo-evangelicals hate Pastor Jack Hyles vehemently.

My father went to Heaven around 2010. I am not sure exactly when he died. My father never talked to me again after kicking me off the Grace Mission Church board of directors in 2001. My father also had a Lutheran pastor on his church board. When I called the Lutheran pastor to see how my Dad was doing (because I couldn't talk with my unreasonable father), that wicked pastor said: “You and that King James Bible heresy!” I kindly replied that any Bible revision which removes the word “begotten” from John 3:16 is going into my garbage pail!

I never should have went to voluntarily work with my father after I graduated from Hyles-Anderson College in 1993, but I did for eight tough years and I paid for it. Dr. Hyles had personally warned me that fundamentalists and neo-evangelicals cannot get along, but I didn't take his advice, for which I regret. I have learned the hard way at a great personal price that neo-evangelicals hate fundamentalists!

I love, forgave long ago and miss my Dad. I hope that he is proud of me for fighting the good fight of faith up in Heaven. Hundreds of lost sinners have come to faith in Jesus Christ since 2002 through my soulwinning ministry, because of God using a humble broken nobody (a wretched redeemed sinner) like me. I am forever grateful to God for His many blessings!

Feeling Guilt Is Not An Indication of God's Displeasure

I admit that whenever I have eaten a steak dinner in a fancy restaurant, I always feel so unworthy and undeserving. Does that mean God is upset with me? Of course not. God knows that I never eat a bite of food without thanking Him for the food and my health to enjoy the food. There are 10,080 minutes in each week. Have we thanked God with even one of them?

I am often reminded of a horrific incident in Europe. In 2012, a stupid group of teenage girls couldn't wait to take their naïve friend on her 18th birthday to the local nightclub to drink her first booze. The young fella who worked at the bar brought the girl a fancy drink fuming with liquid nitrogen. While her senseless “friends” were cheering her on like idiots to consume her first alcoholic beverage, she guzzled the drink down, including the pieces of liquid nitrogen, which ate holes in her stomach's lining.

The injured girl fell to the floor screaming in pain. Hours later she woke up in the hospital with her stomach removed. Surgeons did the only thing they could do, they attached her large colon from her esophagus in her throat to her anus. That poor girl will NEVER eat any solid food again for the rest of her miserable life! No pizza! No cheeseburgers! No steak! No French fries! She has to eat baby food (pulp) 20 times a day just to survive. I'd rather be dead!

I often think about that poor girl when I enjoy all the wonderful foods that God has given to us to enjoy. Curse those stupid friends of that poor girl! Listen to me carefully dear reader—people will get you killed! I'd say ask legendary Ozzy Osbourne guitarist Randy Rhoads, but he was murdered at age 25 by someone whom he trusted. To survive in this insane world of lunatics you have to be smarter than the average bear. I digress.

When I was younger as a teenage, I had heard a lot of Bible preaching against watching movies, listening to rock music, et cetera. I really felt convicted, not because of the Holy Bible, but because that is what pastors were saying from the pulpit.

Much Of Our Guilt Is Self Induced

I actually took a hammer to my Beach Boys collection at age 19. Decades later I found peace with myself and started listening to the Beach Boys again. I went to a Beach Boys concert in Pensacola in 2021 and it was one of the greatest and most enjoyable musical events I ever attended. I am so glad that I went. Are the Beach Boys a Christian band? Of course not. Their personal lives were filled with sin and shame, as well as much charity and good things that the band members have done (just like you and me, and every other human being). But the music itself is beautiful, I humbly think. I see nothing wrong with songs like: “Be True To Your School” and “God Only Knows” and “Wouldn't It Be Nice” and “Surfer Girl.” I am a lifelong stringed instrument musician, so I naturally love all kinds of pretty music. God made the gift of music!

I enjoy watching some Hollywood movies: “Jurassic Park” and “The Thing” (1982) and “Star Wars” and “Close Encounters Of The Third Kind.” Can you find some fault in those films? Yes, absolutely. But that is true of nearly everything in American culture today. I make no apologies for being a normal human being, having grown up in American culture, and being myself. I love hard fundamentalist Bible preaching, but I learned a long time ago to take it all with a grain of salt, or you'll go crazy with guilt for watching a movie, listening to “New Kid In Town” by The Eagles, et cetera. I love that song by the way! I make no apologies for being human. I would go crazy if I tried to live a touch not, taste not, handle not type of legalist lifestyle.

I preach against everything on my website ministry, so that Christians can be informed. For example: I preach against the true meaning behind Halloween. But that doesn't mean that I hate pumpkins on Halloween. No one preaches against booze more than I do, but I have used some Brandy in the past to make the famous Steak Diane Flambé recipe. The alcohol burns off in the frying pan. I enjoy cooking because I enjoy eating. If you are worried that you might be tempted to drink some of the alcohol, then don't use it! I take Nyquil (with 10% alcohol in it) sometimes to help me sleep at night, due to my chronic neck pain. Pastor Jerry Falwell (1933-2007) called Nyquil “Baptist wine.” I like that title.

You're Only As Good A Christian As You Love

Please hear my out dear reader. If you don't watch secular movies, don't listen to secular music, don't chew, don't smoke, don't gamble the lottery, don't drink booze, don't go to the beach, don't miss church, never say a cuss word, et cetera—those things make you RELIGIOUS, but not necessarily a GOOD CHRISTIAN! You're only as good of a Christian as you LOVE God and your neighbour (everyone you meet on the planet). Pastor Lester Roloff (1914-1982) rightly said that the two greatest commandments in the Bible to love God and love thy neighbour as thyself are really just one—TO LOVE.

I know a Christian wife who writes out Bible genealogies for fun. She loves going to church. She never cusses, never drinks booze, never smokes, never gambles the lottery, and you won't find a better goodie-two-shoes type person! She is RELIGIOUS! But she is rebellious against her husband, sassing him, disobeying his authority and causing him much grief and needless pain. She is a HORRIBLE CHRISTIAN! I hope you are getting my point.

I stopped feeling guilty for listening to secular music 35 years ago. I would feel guilty if I mistreated someone. We've got an epidemic of fundamentalist Christians today who go around avoiding this and avoiding that, and they foolishly think that pleases God. Meanwhile, they treat others like garbage. The wicked incompetent pastor of Campus Church at Pensacola Christian College (PCC), Jeff Redlin, would never drink a beer, smoke a cigarette or go to Pensacola Beach in the summer when it's filled with 99% naked women; but he sinfully kicked me out of their church (in 2022) in his hatred, simply because he could.

I love the guy with Christ's unconditional love, but Dr. Redlin is a HORRIBLE RELIGIOUS PERSON who woefully lacks God's love. I doubt if he is saved because he preaches another gospel. At PCC they're in the religious business for the INCOME, not the OUTCOME. That's why they're now offering engineering classes, going secular. SHAME!!!

Don't Let Religion And Religious People Drive You Crazy

I wrote this blog to encourage anyone who may be driving yourself crazy with religion. Please don't feel guilty for being a human being. I'm not saying that we should play The Beatles' music for the church youth department, God forbid. We should set the moral standards higher than that for our youth. But if you like listening to The Beatles in your own backyard while having a barbeque, I think that is fine (with the exception of certain lewd song, like: “Let's Do It In The Street.” Use common sense folks. I think lovely songs like: “Penny Lane” and “Strawberry Fields Forever” and “'Til There Was You” are just fine. I love music. I sometimes enjoy Old Christian Radio religious music, but I prefer secular music myself, and I always have, and that is okay. For the past few years I've really gotten into my banjo playing. I'm saying that you don't have to become religious to still please God. The good LORD loves you just as you are. All God desires friend is that you do better today than you did yesterday.

I enjoy a Christmas tree in December. I actually like to keep my Christmas lights up all year round. They are pretty and cheerful. I enjoy pumpkins on Halloween. I don't celebrate witches or worship Satan, I just enjoy our traditional American holidays. I think kids should enjoy Easter Egg Hunts on Easter. Just make sure they know that to your family, Easter is about Jesus' resurrection. You don't need to feel guilty as a born again Christian for being yourself.

Please understand that I am not sanctioning any form of sin. I just turned 59 years old on March 5th, 2026. I have never smoked a cigarette in my life. Let's Talk About Jesus/I Will Sing of the Mercies of the Lord

Pastor Jack Hyles use to wisely say: “Don't be reluctant to admit to others that you have feet of clay, but don't ever show them your feet.” To that I say amen and amen! I have had countless web visitors over the past 24 years of ministry confess some horrible sins to me. I have always suspected that perhaps they were fishing, hoping that I would confess some of my sins to them. Not a chance in Heaven or Hell! I'm not that dumb. As a fundamentalist Bible preacher I need to be careful to protect myself (Proverbs 4:23). So, never confess your sins to anyone except God, and that includes not even to your spouse.

When my wife divorced me in 2006 after 19 years of marriage, I was absolutely devastated. I've been to hell and back in my personal life. I've been bilked for $77,000 in my lifetime by three greedy lawyers. My wife cost us one million dollars in lost retirement savings. Now I will die a thousandaire...lol. Praise God anyhow! Our God is faithful, good and wonderful!!! Let's talk about Jesus more and more! I forgave my wife a long time ago. We all have to give account to God at the Judgment Seat of Christ. Even though there is no condemnation to those who have faith in Jesus Christ (Romans 8:1), we are still warned in 2nd Corinthians 5:10-11 that we must “give account” for the good and bad done in the flesh on earth. That is, every saint must appear in God's Civil Court, but not Criminal Court.

A lot of Christians struggle with Religious Scrupulosity—feeling guilt, worry and stress needlessly. Relax dear saint of God. Everything is just fine. There have been times in my life when I started thinking too much. I have a bad habit of reading into things, connecting dots that don't exist, worrying. I know that I am not alone in doing this. I tend to blame myself for everything. When my wife became angry at me in the past, I felt like somehow I was always at fault. In truth, I wasn't, but because I have a tender heart I tend to blame myself in humility.

I used to think that God was upset with me. In hindsight, I did that to myself. Preaching will make you go crazy if you don't filter it with Bible truth, common sense and God's love. I know that God loves me (1st John 4:19). I know that God is faithful (1st Corinthians 1:9). I know that God cares about me (1st Peter 5:7). And most of all, I know that “God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind” (2nd Timothy 1:7). God wants all of His children to be mentally stable; not worried, uncertain, fearful or stressed.

I take seven different prescription medications, which also affect my mood. Sometimes I just feel like crying. My constant burning nerves throughout my upper body are overwhelming at times. There is no escape from my torment. My health afflictions keep me humble, kind of like fasting all the time. My neck pain is so bad on a continual basis that is burns. It is my painful thorn in the flesh. I long to receive my resurrected body fashioned like unto the LORD's glorified body at the Rapture (Philippians 3:21; 1st Corinthians 15:51-58).

The way that you treat OTHERS is a direct indication of your walk with God. I dare say that only 1-in-50 born again believers truly walk regularly in the Holy Spirit. That is why today's churches are so pathetic and dead spiritually. When a pastor and his wife couldn't care less if you ever come back to their church, it plainly reveals that they don't walk closely with the LORD, because God cares!!! I care dear reader. That is why I incessantly write to share my heart to help others for Christ. I have never made a single penny from all my ministry labors.

Amidst the tens of thousands of emails I've received over the past 24 years, I have received countless emails from distraught believers who were at the end of their rope. Some were going through difficult marital problems, others talked of taking their own life, and some just felt down on life. I have always counseled them to focus on the things of God, and not the things of this world. Colossians 3:1-3, “If ye then be risen with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ sitteth on the right hand of God. Set your affection on things above, not on things on the earth. For ye are dead, and your life is hid with Christ in God.” This is why the same Apostle Paul who penned Colossians said in Philippians 4:8 to think on things that are true, lovely, of good report and virtuous, to avoid negativity.

Persecution Will Come If You Live Godly In Christ Jesus

I hope this article has been helpful and edifying. There have been times over the decades when I thought I might lose my mind, but God's grace saw me through. I was devastated in 2006 when my wife of 19 years abandoned and divorced me against my will. She was rottenness in my bones. It's not easy being married these days, which is why there is so much divorce and fewer people are even bothering to apply for a marriage license anymore.

Also, I could write a lengthy book about the intense persecution I endured in the secular workplace all my working career. I fully know what it is like to work in a Hostile Work Environment. In 2009, I was awarded $42,000 in damages (compensation for my divorce costs) from an EEO complaint I filed against the U.S. Postal Service on Guam for relentless the harassment (even death threats) I suffered at the hands of a Filipino clique of ungodly sinners. The day my wife filed for divorce in 2006 was the day I filed my EEO complaint!

My enemies at work were Roman Catholics. They had found my website ministry and declared open season on me as a Christian. The judge who flew in from California blamed the U.S. Postal Service for my divorce, due to the stress caused by working in a Hostile Work Environment. The judge determined that I was a victim of criminal discrimination based on both religion and race. Their incompetent postal management wickedly looked the other way for 4 years while I was being persecuted in a workplace prison.

Some of my co-workers sabotaged the machines I was responsible to maintain. They stole my car, toolbox and house keys. They tore up religious tracts found in the mail and dumped them on my toolbox. They stole my work activity forms. They deliberately overflowed toilets on me. They stalked me around the building, making veiled threats. I was threatened to be murdered multiple times. One co-worker even opened a switchblade in front of the operation's supervisor and threatened to kill me, which she was required to confirm in court hearing testimony.

I could share several dozen equally traumatic events from my life with you. When I went for my two major neck surgeries in 2009 and 2010, I was all alone and wanted to die. My wife had abandoned me in 2006. Pastor Lester Roloff (1914-1982) was so right: “You'll never know that Jesus is all you need, until Jesus is all you have left.” I flew from Guam to California to get both surgeries. Loneliness is a very difficult burden to carry. At least it is for me because I have a big heart and am a loving person. I get attached to people, pets and things quickly.

Pastor Jack Hyles (1926-2001) is my favorite Bible preacher, and for very good reasons. Brother Hyles grew up very poor. He didn't eat his first cheeseburger, eat an egg or use a flushable toilet until he was 15 years old. His older sister worked a job and bought him his first bike when he was 11 years old. Dr. Hyles grew up in a two room home. The stove was in one room, and the bathtub was in the other. Back then the entire family shared the same bath water, and Brother Hyles dreaded bath time because he always went last. I always enjoy hearing Pastor Hyles talk about his poor childhood, such as in this beautiful sermon titled: “Hasty Fruit.” Unlike Joel Osteen and other infidel clowns in the pulpit today, Pastor Hyles didn't grow up with a silver spoon in his mouth. He had humble beginnings and by God's grace worked hard to build everything he ever accomplished for Jesus Christ.

Another one of my favorite sermons by Brother Hyles is called “Wasted Suffering.” All of the horrible inexplicably painful and traumatic things that I have suffered and endured throughout my life has enabled me to help others through their trials, burdens and problems. A big part of my website ministry over the past 24 years has been to encourage and guide discouraged Christians. I've even befriended atheists with God's unconditional love, because the dear Savior died for everybody on Calvary's cross 2,000 years ago.

Since I gave my life at age 15 in a church revival to serve God for the rest of my life, all I have ever humbly wanted and prayed for is to be used of God to be a blessing to OTHERS for Jesus Christ. I believe by His wondrous grace that the Lord has used me as His servant, and continues to use this broken redeemed sinner for His purpose and glory. People often contact me and say that their life is a mess. I am quick to encourage them that my life is a mess too. All of our lives are trainwreck! That is what grace is all about dear reader.

On March 30th, 2026, 24 year old Jaden Ivey was fired by the Chicago Bulls for making anti-LGBTQ comments during an Instagram livestream, where as a born again Christian he justly criticized the NBA's support for the LGBTQ community. The team stated that his conduct was detrimental to the team. What a sick joke! If anything is detrimental to the sport's team, it is their acceptance of the Satanic homosexual agenda. God will not be mocked. ...

What comments did Jaden Ivey make that further led to him getting fired?

Jaden Ivey's anti-LGBTQ remarks have been making headlines lately, and he also received a fair share of bashing. The 24-year-old basketball player reportedly has been posting a bunch of rant videos on social media, according to Fox News.

"The world can proclaim LGBTQ, right? They proclaim Pride Month and the NBA. They proclaim it. They show it to the world. They say, 'Come join us for Pride Month to celebrate unrighteousness.' They proclaim it. They proclaim it on the billboards," Ivey said in the latest video.

Jaden Ivey additionally said,

"Unrighteousness. So, how is it that one can’t speak righteousness? Who are they to say that this man is crazy?"

These comments became so viral and intense that the Chicago Bulls ended up waiving Ivey from the team. In a statement posted on Instagram on March 30, the team made the announcement of him getting waived from the team. They additionally stated that the decision was taken "due to conduct detrimental to the team." SOURCE

On September 17th, 2021, my ministry friend Pastor Steven Anderson of the Faithful Baptist Church (now located in Phoenix instead of Tempe) preached an excellent applicable sermon titled, “Only One Viewpoint Is Allowed.” Brother Anderson is absolutely right, in today's ungodly American culture you are not allowed to have a differing viewpoint from the agenda of the day, which is sadly pro-homosexual. The NBA has just successfully scared all of their players not to dare speak out against the LGBTQ agenda, or lose your lucrative career. That is so evil!

I hope Jared sues the NBA for $100 million for wrongful termination and for violating his First Amendment rights to freedom of speech. When employees can be fired for expressing their personal views (on their personal social media accounts) against the unrighteousness of our perverted generation, you know that we are living in the “perilous times” foretold in 2nd Timothy 3:1-13. 2nd Timothy 3:12-13, “Yea, and all that will live godly in Christ Jesus shall suffer persecution. But evil men and seducers shall wax worse and worse, deceiving, and being deceived.” The owners of the Chicago Bulls are evil men!

Hell will freeze over and you can fire me from every job on the planet, before you'll silence me about the evils of homosexuality (Leviticus 20:13; Romans 1:24-31; Colossians 3:5-6; Jude 1:7). The same spiritually demented crowd today who are challenging the inspired Holy Bible whether homosexuality is a sin or not, are the same wicked fools (like incompetent pastors' Bobby and Brad Moffett at the shameful Family Baptist Church cult in Pensacola) who challenge the Bible whether it is wrong for their ungodly wives to wear pants in public or not. SHAME!!! Shame on any professed Christian woman who wears pants!

And shame on any professed Christian who defends the gross and unnatural shameful sin of homosexuality. It is gross and wicked!!! I say that kindly. I don't think we should ever bash homosexuals, but every child of God is biblically obligated Scripturally to take a stand against all works of darkness according to Ephesians 5:11, “And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather reprove them.”

The Chicago Bulls and the NBA should be greatly ashamed of themselves for firing Jaden Ivey. I can tell you one thing with absolute certainty—the tables will be turned at the Great White Throne of Judgment for the NBA and the owner's of The Chicago Bulls (Revelation 20:11-15). I will never support the NBA or The Chicago Bulls again, because they are bigots against God-fearing Christians.

Christianity aside, this is America where we still have something called our Bill of Rights. It's bad enough that big tech companies are legally allowed to filter American's speech on social media, but companies also have the legal right nowadays to fire employees merely for speaking their honest opinion in private online social media accounts. Tragically, it is conservatives and God-fearing Christians who are the ones being censored.

I have a classic book in front of me published in the year 1868, titled “GOD IN HISTORY and GOD IN SCIENCE,” authored by London Pastor John Cumming (1807-1881). May I say kindly, there's no such thing as an atheist! Some of the world's wealthiest celebrities have the stench of Hell on them, which is where they are all going, blaspheming the very God Who is kind to them. Luke 6:35b, “...for he is kind unto the unthankful and to the evil.”

On page 139 of his book, “GOD IN HISTORY and GOD IN SCIENCE,” Pastor John Cumming makes a brilliant observation concerning professed atheists...

Atheism is folly as much as wickedness. But suffer me, before I show this, to say, that it is absolutely impossible that any man can be an atheist, in the strict sense of that word. All that any can say is this: “No spot that I have searched does reveal a God; every organization I have examined does not show traces of wisdom, goodness, and design:” but that individual cannot say; “There is no God;” because he cannot say, “I have soared to the farthest star, I have descended to the deepest mines, I have swept all space, and searched all time, and in the realms of infinite space I have not detected any traces of a God.” In other words, to be able to say, “There is no God,” you must yourself assume to be God, which is a reductio ad absurdum, an utter and a complete absurdity.

What a brilliant observation! How can any man claim to be an atheist unless he has traveled to the farthest place in the universe? The nearest star to the earth (after our own sun) is Alpha Centauri, which is 4.37 light-years away (25,000,000,000,000 miles away!). This is just one star, being the closest to earth besides our own sun which is 93,000,000,000 miles away. The empty space in between the stars is astoundingly cold, at -454° F (absolute zero is -459.6° F). The reason why empty space is so cold is simply because it contains no matter, no air, no energy, no anything.

The Hubble Space Telescope launched in 1990 had previously discovered 200,000,000,000 galaxies in the universe, but the new James Webb Space Telescope launched on Christmas Day in 2021 (10 years overdue) has so far discovered an amazing 2,000,000,000,000 galaxies (two trillion). Not just stars, galaxies!!! And each of those galaxies contains HUNDREDS OF BILLIONS of stars! Astronomers now confirm that there are approximately TWO TRILLION galaxies!

I greatly anticipate the next generation of telescopes using Artificial Intelligence. The Nancy Grace Roman Space Telescope is set to follow the James Webb Space Telescope as the next major astronomical observatory. Its NASA launch day is set for May of 2027. It will focus on exploring dark energy, dark matter, and exoplanets, among other cosmic phenomena. Truly, God is more than amazing!!! Psalms 145:3, “Great is the LORD, and greatly to be praised; and his greatness is unsearchable.”

The inspired Word of God teaches that God made the stars. I love how Genesis 1:16b is written... “HE MADE THE STARS ALSO.” It's like the Bible is saying, “Oh, by the way, God also made all the stars!” Genesis 1:16, “And God made two great lights; the greater light to rule the day, and the lesser light to rule the night: he made the stars also.” God is amazing, Who knows the exact number of stars that He created? Yet, God calls each star by their own name. Amen!

Do you know that it would take 31,709 years just to count to one trillion (if you could count one number per second, which no one can do)? Realistically, it would take someone at least 200,000 years to count out loud to one trillion, because expressing a number like (say for example) 345,683,484,693 would require several seconds. And yet the Bible says that God CALLS all of the stars by their name. Psalms 147:4, “He telleth the number of the stars; he calleth them all by their names.” That is true omnipotence! Psalms 145:3, “Great is the LORD, and greatly to be praised; and his greatness is unsearchable.” Who am I that a King should bleed and die for?

Repent while you still have the hope of eternal redemption, or you will indeed perish. When you die, it will be everlastingly too late. The wrath of God is hanging over your head like a storm cloud. It's when you lay down, when you wake up, when you are working, having lunch with friends, going on a trip—everywhere you go—that God's wrath is upon your head (Psalm 7:11). John 3:36, “He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him.”

April 1st is “APRIL FOOL'S DAY” in America, which is appropriately fitting for an atheist. Psalms 14:1, “The fool hath said in his heart, There is no God. They are corrupt, they have done abominable works, there is none that doeth good.” Nobody hates God as much as the atheist who denies that He exists! According to our text Scripture passage from Romans 1:20-22, there is no such thing as an atheist, only ungrateful sinners who refuse to acknowledge or glorify their faithful Creator. 2nd Timothy 2:13, “If we believe not, yet he abideth faithful: he cannot deny himself.”

Pensacola Christian College Has Sadly Become More Secular Than Christian

Romans 16:17-18, “Now I beseech you, brethren, mark them which cause divisions and offences contrary to the doctrine which ye have learned; and avoid them. For they that are such serve not our Lord Jesus Christ, but their own belly; and by good words and fair speeches deceive the hearts of the simple.”

I cannot warn parents enough about Pensacola Christian College (PCC). On the surface they profess to be Christians who love God, but as someone who was kicked out and banned from their Campus Church since 2022, I can testify that there is no love in PCC's leadership.

I subscribe to the apostate Sword of the Lord bi-monthly newspaper. Sadly, in recent years the Sword of the Lord publication has become a pimp for PCC's spiritual whoredom. I say that kindly but truthfully. On page 4 of the latest Sword paper (March 20, 2026 - Vol. XCII, No. 06), there appears an advertisement for Mechanical Engineering at PCC college.

Whatever happened to full time Christian service? Evidently student enrollment has dropped significantly and the college is looking for new ways to draw in more money.

PCC Preaches Four Different Plans Of Salvation

I was sickening in my soul as I discovered that the college and their Campus Church actually promote multiple different conflicting plans of salvation. I have dealt with PCC's leaders and they are cocky, stubborn, and arrogant, to say the least. I sincerely tried to reconcile with their leadership in 2022, but they are so hard hearted and distant from God that all they care about is making money and protecting the name of their institution. PCC are foolish.

While the world is going to Hell without the Gospel, PCC are recruiting engineers for the next generation. That is their stupid motto: “Invest in the Next Generation of Engineers.” Many parents send their children to PCC because of their fascist style strict rules, but rules without love only begets hatred and resentment.

I can testify firsthand about the woeful lack of Christian love, compassion or concern at PCC. Pastor Jeff Redlin treated me like garbage. I even told him so. Do you know what that ungodly incompetent fool said to me? He said, “That's your global view.” In other words, he was insulting me, accusing me of feeling of feeling like garbage because that's what I think about myself. The truth is that Mr. Redlin is an abusive person, a cold hearted devil, who never should have been hired to be the senior pastor of Campus Church. What is wrong with PCC?

Dr. Redlin woefully lacks God's unconditional love for sinners. If he were right with God he would have gladly welcomed me at Campus Church as a divorced man, but instead he wickedly berated and mistreated me as a newcomer, sanctioned by abusive PCC leadership. He did make me feel like garbage, because that is the kind of abusive jerk Redlin is. Sadly, PCC is a religious cult! Their institution represents everything that is wrong with Christendom today in America. While the world is going to Hell, PCC are merely playing church for filthy lucre's sake. Their mask cannot hide their true hatred, phoniness and lack of love for people.

We don't need a new generation of indoctrinated religious engineers who woefully lack God's love for people. And if you are a student at PCC, just fail to dot your i's or cross your t's and you'll find out quickly how much they truly love you a PCC. They'll throw you under the bus in a second and leave you for dead, even if it means wasting years of college credits when they expel you. In the disturbing truthful words of one of their own students at PCC: “In my opinion they produce more people who love rules than people who love God and understand His grace and what an obedient relationship with Him is like.” I concur! That place is a disgrace!

Pastor Jack Hyles (1926-2001) was so right, PCC are not church builders, they are educators, so they woefully lack God's genuine love for hurting sinners. At PCC they just kick anyone out the door who doesn't meet their manmade hypocritical Pharisaical standards. Touch not, taste not, handle not, but there is no love. There is no understanding. I couldn't believe how empty of love, understanding and compassion their pastoral staff was when I attended Campus Church in 2021. Tragically, PCC leaders couldn't care less, having huge egos! God will deal harshly with them, for the wicked way they have sued their own students, threatened others and treat so many people like garbage. That's not my global view, that's a fact!

For ye see your calling, brethren, how that not many wise men after the flesh, not many mighty, not many noble, are called: But God hath chosen the foolish things of the world to confound the wise; and God hath chosen the weak things of the world to confound the things which are mighty. And base things of the world, and things which are despised, hath God chosen, yea, and things which are not, to bring to nought things that are: That no flesh should glory in his presence.”

The phrase “foolish things” from our text passage of Scripture is translated from one Greek word, moros, which is where our English word “moron” comes from. Literally, God uses morons! God uses blockheads and the absurd!

God hath chosen the “weak things,” which phrase comes from the Greek word asthenes, which means “strengthless.”

God hath chosen the “base things,” which means “strengthless.”

God uses things that are “despised.” The word “despised” comes from the Greek word exoutheneo, which means “to set at nought; out of nobodies.”

God uses things which “are not,” which phrase comes from the Greek word, which means ”shunned, overlooked.” God uses the shunned ones. God uses bad people!

Amen and amen! I thank God that the LORD uses nobodies like me. I have been shunned by church after church for just TELLING THE TRUTH. Of the last six churches that I've attended, I was kicked out of three of them and banned from returning; namely, Harvest Baptist Church on Guam, Campus Church at Pensacola Christian College and Family Baptist Church in Pensacola.

At Smyrna Baptist Church in Pensacola, Pastor Bill Adams and his wicked spoiled brat for a wife deliberately mistreated me in 2024, so that I would leave and never return. They are living large, in the ministry only for the INCOME not the OUTCOME. Woe unto Bill and Adams and his ungodly hateful feminist wife.

At the shameful Lighthouse Baptist Church on Guam, their incompetent pastor Sean Quinan in 2018 (a PCC intern missionary pastor), rebuked me sharply (in front of several of his church members) for telling a friend in a private conversation that “Bob Jones University sells corruptible seed” (i.e., the Devil's modern Bible perversions). Pastor Quinlan got angry! He admitted having eavesdropped on my personal conversations over the past several months, and said: “You are obsessed with the Bible issue!” Dear reader, you had better believe that I am obsessed over the Bible issue! ...

This world is going to Hell today because God's children are hiding their light under a bushel. God needs volunteers. God needs voices! Ezekiel 22:30, “And I sought for a man among them, that should make up the hedge, and stand in the gap before me for the land, that I should not destroy it: but I found none.” God can make use of anybody if you are yielded to Him. Jesus never turned anyone away empty-handed except those who came full of themselves! Dear saint of God, Get out of the SELF LIFE!

Our generation is so characterless. Talent seeks attention; Wisdom pays attention. If you want to be used of God, simply submit whatever you have to Him. Samson was a crooked stick, but God used him because Samson yielded himself.

Moses argued with the LORD, saying that he was the wrong guy or the job to deliver the Hebrews out of bondage in Egypt. Moses told God that was not eloquent in speech and slow of tongue (Exodus 4:10). God told Moses that his brother Aaron would speak for him instead. Moses continued to make excuses, so that God became angry with Moses (Exodus 4:13-16). God refused to take “no” for an answer from Moses. God told Moses that He would use the stick (a humble rod) in Moses' hand to work all His mighty miracles. With Moses's rod the LORD brought the 10 plagues upon the Egyptians. With Moses' rod God parted the Red Sea to deliver the Hebrews from imminent death at the hand of Egyptian soldiers. With Moses rod God brought forth water from the rock in the Wilderness. Little is much when God is in it!

God uses the little people for His purpose and glory. He uses and blesses morons, idiots and ignoramuses. God makes use of former prison convicts. I don't care how much of a total loser you may be dear friend, God wants to make use of whatever you have (or don't have) to serve Him. No one will ever be truly happy in life until they find God's will and purpose for their life, and they get and stay there. God hath chosen the foolish things of this world to confound the wise. He uses base things, despised things, the poor, maimed, weak and the down and out folks. I Oftentimes Disagree With God

I heard a tremendous life changing sermon today by my hero of the Christian faith, Pastor Jack Hyles (1926-2001). The sermon is titled: “You Can't Reason With God.” In the sermon Brother Hyles is pleasantly transparent, sharing the many places in the inspired Holy Bible where he disagrees with God. Pastor Hyles said he disagrees with God in the following Bible matters:

Lot's wife being turned into a pillar of salt for just looking back
Achan's entire family being killed for his sin
God killing Ananias and Sapphira for lying about a financial matter
God allowing Satan to afflict Job to ruin his life and kill their 10 children
Rahab (a dirty harlot) being mentioned in Hebrews 11
God calling David “a man after God's own heart” after what he did to destroy Uriah
God choosing to use 3 murderers (Moses, David & Paul) to write 4/11th's of the Bible
God using Peter to preach on Pentecost after denying Jesus and curing His name

I so often share Brother Hyles' frustration, feeling that our great God is sometimes unfair. Job said that if any man contend with God he won't win even one in a thousand debates. Job 9:3, “If he will contend with him, he cannot answer him one of a thousand.” Who can argue with omnipotence, omniscience, omnisapience and omnipotence? And yet our wonderful Creator lovingly invites every living human being in Isaiah 1:18, “Come now, and let us reason together, saith the LORD: though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool.” What a terrific God!

I humbly don't think it was fair in the Bible that God allowed Jacob's beloved wife Rachel to die while giving birth to Benjamin.

I humbly don't think it was fair for God to kill Uzzah for just trying to steady the wobbling Ark of the Covenant. Uzzah had nothing but good and pure intentions.

I humbly don't think it was fair when God told the prophet Hosea to go marry a known harlot, Gomer, and then she abandoned him to run off in adultery with her many wicked lovers.

I humbly disagree with God for allowing David to live after ruthlessly murdering Uriah and stealing his beautiful wife Bathsheba, and then David got to keep and enjoy her for the rest of his life, while Uriah was dead. And yet God killed Uzzah for just touching the Ark. That seems so hypocritical, wrong and unfair to me, and I'm sure it does to you also. But like Brother Hyles wisely said, pointing to Isaiah 55:8-9, God's thoughts and ways are ABOVE ours. God sees things that we cannot see. God knows the full story!

The father of Tyler Simmons (a U.S. soldier killed in the Iran war) expressed deep sorrow and shared memories of his only son, describing him as someone who “had a magnetic personality” and could “illuminate” a room. Tyler's Dad last spoke to him just the day before his tragic death, which has left him with profound grief and questions about the war. When I saw Tyler's Dad break down in tears on NBC News, mentioning that he will now never be a grandfather, I wept with him with a broken heart. Life is a veil of tears!

Pastor Hyles made this encouraging statement...

“I accept the fact that I and God do not always agree. I accept it. I'm not going to stand here this morning and say I'm such a spiritual giant that I just immediately trust God. I do not immediately say to God, 'You know what you're doing.' Sometimes I say to God, 'I wonder if you do know what you're doing.' because [of a] little exercise that I go through. And by the way I go through this every week, and sometimes every day.” —Pastor Jack Hyles, “You Can't Reason With God”

Pastor Hyles said that whenever he doubts God, he goes through the following mental exercise regularly to help him:

I accept the fact that I and God don't always agree.
I flee to Isaiah 55:8-9 [God's thoughts and ways are above our thoughts and ways, “as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts” (Isaiah 55:9)].
I conclude that God who knows all is right. Proverbs 16:20b, “... and whoso trusteth in the LORD, happy is he.”

I decided decades ago that I refused to place God on trial every time something goes wrong in my life. The heathen world continually puts God on trial. No Sir, I wont do it! I echo with Job in Job 13:15, “Though he slay me, yet will I trust in him: but I will maintain mine own ways before him.” Life often doesn't make any sense.

I humbly admit there are many things about God that I just cannot understand. For example: We know that all babies go to Heaven. God is a just God who would never allow the innocent to perish into Hell. Yet, the Bible also teaches in Luke 13:23-24 that only a “few” people will go to Heaven. So then, isn't abortion a wonderful blessing? All of those billions of aborted babies worldwide since the early 1970's are in Heaven! That truth will mess with your mind. We know that murder is a sin (Exodus 20:13). So, abortion should be made illegal.

We read in 1st Corinthians 2:16, “For who hath known the mind of the Lord, that he may instruct him? But we have the mind of Christ.” Some things of God can be made known to His redeemed saints. We know because of Adam's sin that there is a curse upon the earth for man's sake. Hard work is a blessing from God which keeps a man out of trouble. Lamentations 3:27, “It is good for a man that he bear the yoke in his youth.”

That's one of the major things wrong with our nation's youth today, they have too much time on their hands to get into much trouble. I remember there used to be the Washburn Trade School in Chicago for young men, which was a great thing, but due to all the greedy lawyers, politics and selfish adults the school closed their doors in the 1990's forever. Sadly, cities and towns across America today refuse to invest in our youth, who are tomorrow's leaders. NASA spends billions on space exploration. Americans spend trillions on entertainment, sports, pets and vacations; meanwhile our teenagers run the streets in gangs committing crimes, the homeless are ignored and society just becomes worse and worse. When U.S. President Donald Trump leaves office in 2028, the rich will be fattened but the poor will still be poor.

I don't blame God for the mess that this insane world is in today. Ecclesiastes 7:29, “Lo, this only have I found, that God hath made man upright; but they have sought out many inventions.” Man himself is to blame for the world's problems.

Ladies and gentlemen, we serve an awesome God! Micah 7:18, “Who is a God like unto thee, that pardoneth iniquity, and passeth by the transgression of the remnant of his heritage? he retaineth not his anger for ever, because he delighteth in mercy.” I THANK GOD for the gift of His dear only begotten Son, Jesus Christ, who died in my place on Calvary's cross 2,000 years ago, so that by faith alone in Christ alone without works my sins could be washed away and I could be given eternal life for free. What a great Savior!!!

In short, the Catholic Church teaches that salvation is a gift from God, and the normative way we receive that gift is through the seven sacraments, beginning with baptism (see the Catechism 1113ff.). Here is my needful biblical response to the preceding damnable heresy:

Catholics falsely teach: “In short, the Catholic Church teaches that salvation is a gift from God, and the normative way we receive that gift is through the seven sacraments, beginning with baptism.” This is FALSE! How can salvation be a “gift” when you have to partake of Seven Sacraments to get it? That is a reward, not a gift! It's an exchange, a trade, but it cannot be a gift if you must do anything other than accept it. Furthermore, where does the Bible teach that partaking of sacraments is the “normative way we receive the gift”? No such false teaching is found in the inspired Word of God. Catholics are liars!
Catholics falsely teach: “The sacraments are made possible, first of all, by God’s becoming man in Jesus, and their saving effectiveness is derived from Jesus’ one paschal sacrifice, i.e., his passion, death, resurrection, and ascension.” Again, where does Scripture teach this junk? It doesn't. The word “sacrament” doesn't even appear in the Holy Bible.
Catholics falsely teach: “Jesus established the Catholic Church as his instrument of salvation through which the faithful are able to receive the sacraments. As a consequence, the Church also teaches that because of God’s saving plan, there is no salvation without the Church Jesus established.” Nowhere does the Bible sanction the demonic Catholic church with their idolatry and Mary worship, removal of God's Second Commandment, idolization of priests, Baptismal Regeneration heresy, Sacramental Salvation, et cetera. Salvation has never been found through the Church; but rather, through faith in Jesus Christ alone (John 6:47).
Catholics falsely teach: “The Church also teaches that we must freely accept the gift of salvation and persevere in it, for, as St. James teaches, justification is by faith and works and not by faith alone.” There is nothing in the inspired Holy Bible about persevering in works to get salvation. The Apostle James plainly wrote in James 2:10 that breaking even one of God's commandments makes a sinner guilty of violating ALL of them. Even one sin is enough to send a man to Hell, to burn forever! That is why we all need God's imputed righteousness, which comes only through faith in Jesus (Philippians 3:9). James was NOT teaching works for salvation, God forbid. In Roman the Apostle Paul teaches about being justified in the sight of God by faith (Romans 4:1-7); whereas in the Epistle of James the Apostle James speaks about being justified in the eyes of mankind by works. Scripture is very clear that salvation is without works (Romans 3:19-20, 4:4-5, 10:3-4; Ephesians 2:8-9; Titus 3:5).

It couldn't be more plain to see that the so-called “Roman Catholic church” is a Satanic cult whose god is of the Devil, For doctrines they flagrantly teach the commandments of men, not God's inspired Word. And yet, arrogant Catholics will debate and argue their false religion with a total lack of rationale nor regard for God's inspired Word. Look how Catholics have removed the second of God's commandments not to bow down to statues and graven images. Catholics are deliberately wearing horse blinders! They only see what they want to see.

Please RUN away from the prisonhouse of Roman Catholicism!

A Christian Marriage

Ephesians 5:28-33, “So ought men to love their wives as their own bodies. He that loveth his wife loveth himself. For no man ever yet hated his own flesh; but nourisheth and cherisheth it, even as the Lord the church: For we are members of his body, of his flesh, and of his bones. For this cause shall a man leave his father and mother, and shall be joined unto his wife, and they two shall be one flesh. This is a great mystery: but I speak concerning Christ and the church. Nevertheless let every one of you in particular so love his wife even as himself; and the wife see that she reverence her husband.”

If husbands and wives would simply follow the inspired Word of God in regards to how we treat one another, we could all have peaceful marriages and there wouldn't be any more divorces. I am thankful that God pointedly tells us in the Scripture exactly what he expects from husbands and wives. In our text passage of inspired Scripture, Christian men are exhorted to “love their wives as their own bodies. He that loveth his wife loveth himself.” This is a remarkable truth! When I am good to my wife, I am being good to myself, for we are one in God's sight.

A godly husband and wife should cooperate with each other, meeting one another's needs, helping one another, “Submitting yourselves one to another in the fear of God” (Ephesians 5:21). When spouses become selfish and proud, then problems start.

A husband and wife should read (or listen to) the inspired King James Bible and listen to Bible preaching daily, and then share with each other the truths that you've learned. ...

Colossians 3:16-19, “Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom; teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord. And whatsoever ye do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God and the Father by him. Wives, submit yourselves unto your own husbands, as it is fit in the Lord. Husbands, love your wives, and be not bitter against them.”

Wives and husband should teach each other. That is what we just read in God's Word. We should counsel and warn each other. My wife Alice and I love sharing Bible truths with each other as we learn new things. The Bible says to “have grace in your hearts,” which is the opposite of selfish pride. Remember, as God's saints we grow in grace, not in strength (2nd Peter 3:18). The LORD is our strength! Psalms 18:1, “I will love thee, O LORD, my strength.” What a beautiful Bible truth!

Please notice Scripturally that wives are commanded by the LORD to reverence her own husband. Ephesians 5:33b, “and the wife see that she reverence her husband.” To “reverence” one's husband means “feeling or showing profound respect.” We don't see much wifely reverence for husbands in today's rotten American feminist influenced culture. In fact, we see the exact opposite from women, who wickedly tear down their husbands, belittle his manhood and treat him like an enemy. Feminism is of the Devil.

The inspired Word of God speaks much of hating or loving one's self. ...

Proverbs 8:36, “But he that sinneth against me wrongeth his own soul: all they that hate me love death.”

Proverbs 11:17, “The merciful man doeth good to his own soul: but he that is cruel troubleth his own flesh.”

Proverbs 19:8, “He that getteth wisdom loveth his own soul: he that keepeth understanding shall find good.”

Proverbs 29:24, “Whoso is partner with a thief hateth his own soul: he heareth cursing, and bewrayeth it not.”

The godly husband who properly treats his own wife with respect, fairness, love and understanding is loving himself. An abusive husband (both physically and emotionally) abuses himself, destroying his own marriage. I regularly do the dishes in our home. I cook meals often. This week I made a special recipe for my wife, Puerto Rican Chicken Fricassee Stew, which she loved. Her Mom was from Kentucky, her step dad was from Puerto Rico. So she grew up around the Puerto Rican culture. I surprised her with this recipe to make her happy, because I love my wife and therefore want to have a servant's heart. Matthew 23:11, “But he that is greatest among you shall be your servant.”

The Bible teaches that a backslider follows HIS OWN WAYS; but a good (godly) man lives to please God rather than his own selfish whims (cf., Ecclesiastes 12:13). ...

Proverbs 14:14, “The backslider in heart shall be filled with his own ways: and a good man shall be satisfied from himself.”

The only reason why there are divorces is because of sinful pride. Proverbs 13:10, “Only by pride cometh contention: but with the well advised is wisdom.” And Jesus said in Matthew 19:8b, “Moses because of the hardness of your hearts suffered you to put away your wives: but from the beginning it was not so.” Anyone can live with anybody if you can learn to be a nobody. Galatians 6:3, “For if a man think himself to be something, when he is nothing, he deceiveth himself.” We were all wonderfully made by God from the dust of the earth. Isaiah 64:8, “But now, O LORD, thou art our father; we are the clay, and thou our potter; and we all are the work of thy hand.”

A happy marriage is two people making a life for each other. A Christian marriage is two people never giving up on each other, just like God NEVER gives up on His own. Hebrews 13:5-6, “Let your conversation be without covetousness; and be content with such things as ye have: for he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee. So that we may boldly say, The Lord is my helper, and I will not fear what man shall do unto me.”

By God's grace, you can be anyone you choose to be. If you've been mean toward your spouse, you CAN start being nice simply by trying. We all fail and fail and fail at pleasing God, but all the LORD expects is that we keep trying with His grace. Remember, the Christian life is lived the same way we were saved, which is BY FAITH (Galatians 2:20-21).

Just Hang In Their Faithful To God

Dear reader, when we tough it out and hang in there staying married, even when our spouse is not cooperating and refuses to obey God, we are being faithful to God.

I heard a tremendous sermon this week by Pastor Steven Anderson titled: “Four Dangers Of Servant Leadership.” Don't let the title fool you, there are some great marriage truths in this sermon. For example: Brother Anderson emphasizes the truth that a wife is commanded by God to obey her husband, even if he is a total jerk. And a husband is commanded by God to love and not be bitter against his wife, even if she is rebellious. Ouch! How many married couples follow these Bible teachings? Sadly, not many. Oh, how we need a revival in our marriages. God hates divorce!

I listened to another edifying sermon this morning by Brother Anderson...

“Everybody that I have ever known has had marriage problems. I've had marriage problems. You've had marriage problems. It's just life. That's just life. It's just part of being married. If staying married were easy everybody'd be doing it! Where do you think all this divorce is coming from? Is it coming because marriage is always easy? No, it's because there are gonna be those low points. There are gonna be those trials and tribulations. And there are gonna be those times where your tempted to just quit, and just say: 'That's it, I'm leaving!' and 'She can leave!' and 'I'm out!' and 'She's out!' and 'He can leave!' and all this garbage. Hey, look my friend, it's 'til death do us part.” —Pastor Steven Anderson, “Enlargement And Deliverance” (March 15, 2026)

“Now you say, well, my marriage has been bad for years and it's just still bad, and it's been bad for 10 years, 15 years. Okay, well here's the thing, I understand. I'm not going to give you a pie in the sky that your marriage is always going to be fixed, because you know what, sadly, that's a reality. Sometimes you are married for 10, 15, 20 years, and it's just bad, and then it's more bad, and more, and you try to do the right things, and it's just bad because it's the other person's fault. That's out there! So, I'm not always gonna say that it's your fault. You can do all the right things and the other person is just not wanting to play ball, and they just never get onboard, and they're just never going to be right with God. You know, a husband that's just never going to love you as Christ loved the Church; a wife that's just never going to submit unto you and obey you and honor you and respect you. Hey, I get it that that exists. But do you know what what I would say? I would say, continue to be faithful to your spouse. Continue to love your wife that doesn't respect you. Continue to submit to your husband that doesn't love you. I am not a Pastor Charles H. Spurgeon fan, because he was a 2-point Calvinist. Spurgeon taught the Calvinist heresies of Limited Atonement (Jesus only died for the saints) and the Perseverance Of The Saints (a saint must persevere in holiness to get to Heaven). That being said, I fully agree with Pastor Spurgeon in the following quote about marriage...

“Where there is a lack of this mutual affection, it does not deserve the name of marriage. The pain and anguish of such a relationship would be a heavy load for either heart to bear; but where there is true and genuine love; it is the sweetest and happiest mode of living. Pastor Surgeon preached that sermon in 1867, which was 159 years ago as of 2026. God's saints had marriage problems back then just like today, and throughout human civilization.

In Genesis chapter 27 in the Old Testament, we have the biography of a dysfunctional family. Rebekah was manipulative. She convinced their son Jacob to deceive his father Isaac, and to defraud his brother Esau out of his inheritance blessings. Isaac was stubborn and refused to obey God, who had commanded before their son's were born that the elder would serve the younger. Jacob was a Mama's boy who stayed in the kitchen, while Esau was masculine and a skilled hunter who provided meat for the family. Jacob was a cheat, dishonest, a liar and conniver. He took advantage of his brother Esau. When his father's eyesight had failed so that he could no longer hardly see, Jacob wickedly tricked him. Jacob's very name means a “trickster.” God has given us this family's tragic story to give us comfort and hope that everything will work out together for good in the end for God's redeemed saints (Romans 8:28; 15:4). I appreciate that God has given us a privileged look into this dysfunctional family. Every family has dirty laundry!

We Must All Answer To God In Eternity

In any marriage you are uniting two sinners. Sadly, some married individuals intentionally provoke their spouse to anger by deliberately mistreating them, hoping they'll file for divorce so they can blame their spouse for quitting the marriage and claim to be a victim of divorce, when God fully sees that they waned it to happen at the hands of the other spouse. Dear reader, there is nothing hidden from the eyes of God, “but all things are naked and opened unto the eyes of him with whom we have to do” (Hebrews 4:13b). See also Proverbs 24:12.

When you try and fail at being a better spouse, just get back up and try again. Every day is a new day! Proverbs 24:16, “For a just man falleth seven times, and riseth up again: but the wicked shall fall into mischief.” The wicked person doesn't even try to please God, they deliberately live in open sin. That is why lost sinners won't come to Jesus to be saved, lest their evil deeds be reprimanded by the indwelling Holy Spirit (John 3:20, 5:40). Evildoers don't want the Holy Spirit in them, which is why the refuse to come to the light of the truth to be saved. Their love for sin hinders them from getting saved,

That being said, you don't have to forsake your sinning to be saved, nor even be willing to forsake your sins (because that would be works). You do however need to acknowledge that you're a guilty sinner (Romans 3:19-20). Why is this so? It is simply because you need to know what you're being saved from, which is sin; and why you need to be saved, which is because the penalty of sin is to burn in the tormentuous never-ending fires of Hell day and night without hope or rest forever (Revelation 14:11, 20:11-15, 21:8). Please don't go to Hell.

Jesus doesn't require that you give up your sinning to be saved; but rather, Christ died on a cross 2,000 years ago to save you from your sins. Matthew 1:21, “And she shall bring forth a son, and thou shalt call his name JESUS: for he shall save his people from their sins.” Salvation is not a matter of what you can do for Christ; it is a matter of what Christ has done for you. The true Gospel always points you to CHRIST; a false gospel always points to YOU. Salvation is not doing your best, it is having Christ's best put to your account through receiving Him by faith.

I Was Abused At Cedars-Sinai Hospital In Los Angeles

Ecclesiastes 5:8, “If thou seest the oppression of the poor, and violent perverting of judgment and justice in a province, marvel not at the matter: for he that is higher than the highest regardeth; and there be higher than they.”

Genesis 18:21, “I will go down now, and see whether they have done altogether according to the cry of it, which is come unto me; and if not, I will know.”

When I went for my first neck surgery at Cedars-Sinai Hospital in June of 2009, the nurses had about 40 probes connected to me before the surgery. I had asked the hospital what would be done with my wallet during the surgery and the woman the day before casually told me they'd just put it in a safe, no big deal. But what she didn't tell me was that a thug security guard would rifle through my wallet without even asking for my permission. My wife has never gone through my wallet because out of respect she feels funny doing so. I am glad I have a considerate wife. Yet, that creepy guard at Cedars-Sinai Hospital had no respect for me as a human being. Clearly he does not know God.

I laid there in a hospital bed with wires connected to my body monotiling my vitals. I was worried about my surgery just minutes away, and I felt helpless as I watched the guard remove every item from my wallet, writing the contents down on a sheet of paper. I felt like I was being raped in my hospital bed. I know why I remained silent as he violated my person, because I was being prepared for surgery and it seemed so much more important than my feelings at the time. I felt scared and overwhelmed. I didn't want to end up paralyzed if something went wrong.

Oh, how I regret staying quiet that day! I wish to God I had kindly told the guard that if he needed to go through my wallet, I would have cancelled the surgery until another day. I would have firmly told that abusive guard, “Excuse me, you are NOT going through my wallet!”

But the rotten ungodly guard did go through my wallet without my consent, examining everything (dozens of items) in my wallet, item by item, writing it all down (no doubt so I couldn't come back later and accuse the hospital of stealing my stuff). I have so often been angry at myself for letting that inconsiderate guard violate my privacy, when I should have kindly told him that there's no way in Heaven or Hell he is going into my wallet.

I was abused, violated and mistreated at Cedar Sinai Hospital in Los Angeles in 2009. I pray for God to avenge me of the years of suffering, grief and pain of soul that guard caused me that day. It's a painful memory that I've had a hard time shaking off to forget. My only consolation is that he is likely a child of the Devil, which explains his abusive Satanic nature; but I am a child of the King, my Lord Jesus.

After my surgery, due to the mental trauma I experienced that morning, the nurse said that my heart was racing 200 mph during the surgery and they had to slow it down to save my life. I was so overwhelmed that I remained silent. I should have told the nurses that their security guard just raped me before my surgery. NO ONE has ever gone through my personal wallet, not even my wife, except that POS rent-a-cop.

I humbly believe that God will some day avenge us of even deeply hurt feelings (Matthew 12:36; Proverbs 24:12). Romans 8:32, “He that spared not his own Son, but delivered him up for us all, how shall he not with him also freely give us all things?” I want everyone who has ever hurt my feelings to be held accountable by God in my presence, and for those whose feelings I have hurt likewise I want to apologize to them (if I haven't already).

If I were the LORD I sure would avenge my children of hurt feelings, and I'm just a guilty sinner, but God is perfect an holy and omniscient. I want those mean people held accountable for what they caused, even if that guard thought he was just doing his job. To be ethical, he should have asked me first for my consent, to be sensitive and show some humanity. God gave me a big heart as a fundamentalist Baptist preacher, but the flip-side of having a large heart is that I very easily get my feelings deeply wounded. It doesn't take much. I don't give it out (i.e., Smart Alec comments), because I admittedly don't take such gesturing well.

This is one of many painful situations in my life where I regret not speaking up. It would have made all the difference in my world, if I had simply defended my own honor that day as a human being. Instead, I reluctantly allowed that guard to violate my privacy by not speaking up. I was overwhelmed concerning the major neck surgery just moments away. People can be so abusive and cruel without even realized it, but I firmly believe that the guard knew exactly what he was doing that day, being a heartless inconsiderate abusive thug!

Regarding that horrible incident and several other problems, I earnestly complained multiple times to the hospital's human resources office and doctors alike, but they all coldly brushed me off. The hospital mailed me an insincere form letter (that they purchase from the stationary store by the box full), saying essentially: “Too bad, so sad, see ya!” I was so deeply hurt.

I ended up back in the Emergency Room the day after my surgery, because the hospital abandoned me and stuck me in a cab instead of driving me home. To get into traffic, the cab driver gunned the gas pedal and my head lunged back. The pain was excruciating. I was readmitted into the hospital the next day, but they refused to give me enough pain medication for my agonizing neck pain.

So, I told the useless nurse that I was reluctantly leaving the hospital to go home, because there was no use for me to stay if they wouldn't treat my pain. They couldn't contact the doctor because she was away for the weekend having fun. As I began to leave, the witch nurse threatened to have security come grab me if I left the hospital. So, I laid back down, not wanting to deal with more Nazi guards. I was so angry with the whole damn hospital. They also mixed up my surgery chart with another man before the surgery.

16 years ago, I wrote dozens of angry articles against Cedars-Sinai if you want all the painful details. This is an open book. I pray earnestly for justice from God. I want the hospital and everybody involved to be held fully accountable by God. I want heads to roll...

There's a mountain of angry abused patients who are victims of Cedars-Sinai Hospital in Los Angeles. In their utter incompetence, Cedars-Sinai Hospital killed actor Bill Paxton (1955-2017). They killed a man's pregnant wife, and they are racists at Cedars-Sinai Hospital! I could lists umpteen more injustices committed by Cedars-Sinai Hospital, many of which have become high profile lawsuits and federal investigations. What evil monsters!

What a dung hole at Cedars-Sinai Hospital! I would NEVER step foot into that accursed place again. I wouldn't trust them with our Cockapoo dog. Cedars-Sinai abuses, mistreat, victimizes and kills people! The Inspiration Of The King James Bible Matters

Pastor Jack Hyles (1926-2001) warned the members of the First Baptist Church in Hammond, Indiana, not to allow a half dozen men to change the church when he went to Heaven.

Sadly, that is exactly what happened, so that since 2009 the church and Hyles-Anderson College no longer believe nor teach that the King James Bible is inspired by God. Dr. Russell Anderson (1931-2023) was so upset about the matter that he wrote an open letter to Pastor Jack Schaap.

And Pastor John Wilkerson (in this open letter Dr. Anderson demands that they remove his name from Hyles-Anderson College, since they refused to return to their former position that the King James Bible is inspired and without error.

Both open letters from Brother Anderson demanded that they return to their former doctrinal position that the King James Bible is verbally (Word for Word) and plenary (the whole canon of 66 books) inspired by God, or else he would withdraw his support of both the church and college, and due to their ungodly rejection of his wisdom Dr. Anderson did just that!

Again, Brother Hyles warned the church members not to let this happen. Dr. Hyles wisely told each church member to appoint them self as a guardian of one against heresy creeping into the church.

I'm tired of colleges and universities advertising that they 'use' the King James Bible - tell the whole story! Shockingly, it was 10 YEARS later that Pastor Jack Schaap wickedly denied the inspiration of the King James Bible. Dr. Schaap in his retarded stupid ungodly booklet titled, "Where Are We Going?," which was passed out at Pastor's School to over 5,000 delegates disparagingly called King James Bible only believers: "Rats in the woodpile," "Barbarians" and "Ignorant hillbillies." You can read Dr. Schaap's own self defense of his fallacy in this clearly twisted response, in which he is trying to hide behind his alleged "angry" wife and the "angry" deacons for his incompetence of denying the inspiration of the King James Bible.

Pastor Jack Schaap foolishly said the inspiration of the King James Bible is a "side issue" which "espouses Catholic doctrine." That is blatantly false! Brother Schaap was my teacher at Hyles-Anderson College for 4 years of Church Education in my 8 years there (I had Dr. Ray Young for the other 4 years). Dr. Schaap also taught me Basic Homiletics, Advanced Homiletics and Revelation and I will always cherish those memories.

I still have all my notes from Brother Joe Combs [my favorite Bible teacher who used to preach week long revivals at my home church (First Baptist Church of Marquette) in Chicago when I was a teenager]. My heart breaks regularly when I stop to realize that Brother Combs is serving 114 years in prison for his sins. There but for the grace of God, go all of us! I still have all my college notes from all my teachers at Hyles-Anderson College, those who influenced me for God, righteousness and truth. Pastor Brad Strand was my second favorite Bible teacher, who is faithfully pastoring a small country church in Texas today. I love these men! My ministry website wouldn't exist if it weren't for Hyles-Anderson College. I am forever grateful to all of them.

I do not condemn Brother Schaap for his past sins, for we are all guilty sinners. I am the biggest sinner I know. I won't tolerate anyone bashing Brother Schaap either. I delete any such comments on my Facebook page. Satan is “the accuser of the brethren” (Revelation 12:10b). I pray for Dr. Schaap regularly as my dear Brother in Christ. Satan sifted him as wheat, as the Devil desires to do to every saint of God. But the damage Pastor Schaap did to First Baptist Church of Hammond by changing their position on the Bible is irreversible.

It also grieves me that in the church's desperation after Dr. Schaap was arrested, they called Dr. John Wilkerson to be their pastor because of his solid faithful past experience as a pastor, assistant pastor and principle of a Christian school; but knowingly hired a man who admitted upfront while candidating that he is not a preacher, and does not think it a good thing to expose the modern perversions of the Bible. In his own words, Pastor Wilkerson thinks it is "disrespectful" to criticize a baby believer's Bible version, which might do more damage than good. Are you kidding me?

That's equivalent to saying that if you see a deranged man putting deadly poison into the church nursery milk bottles, you wouldn't say anything lest you offend new mothers and they leave the church permanently. What Brother Wilkerson is really admitting is that he doesn't see the spiritual dangers of the Devil's modern perversions of the Bible, or he just doesn't care. Either way, he is partly incompetent as a spiritual leader! RIGHT DOCTRINE MATTERS!

I like Brother Wilkerson. I stayed over at his house in Long Beach California during my college days for a wedding of a friend in college. Brother Wilkerson and his wife treated us kindly. Pastor Larry Chapel performed the wedding. We drove for about 35 hours from Chicago to Long Beach and then back. From all I have seen, Pastor Wilkerson has done a tremendous job as a pastor, but in lieu of the fact that he refuses to return the church and college to their former position that the King James Bible is inspired and without error, I cannot endorse his ministry or the college anymore, and Dr. Hyles said that himself.

Brother Hyles warned about anyone who questions the inspiration and accuracy of the King James Bible...

“And brother, any time anybody ever casts any reflection upon the accuracy and the inspiration—verbal inspiration—of this Bible, I'll guarantee you he was inspired by the demons. I'll guarantee you! I don't care if he's got a 'reverend' in front of his name. I don't care if he has a clerical collar on. I don't care what school he's been to. He's of the Devil if he says that the Bible is not verbally inspired by God!” —Dr. Jack Hyles, a great quote from the awesome MP3 sermon titled, “Satan's Masterpiece”

Respectfully, from the quote you just read, according to Brother Hyles, and I agree with him, Dr. Schaap was inspired by demons! Dr. Hyles is correct—a fundamentalist is not someone who simply believes the fundamentals of the Bible; but rather, it is someone who has separated from those who no longer believe the fundamentals...

“It is rather popular to define the term 'fundamentalist' as one who believes the fundamentals; for example, one who believes the verbal inspiration of the Bible, the deity of Christ, the virgin birth, the vicarious death, the bodily resurrection and the second coming. Now, to be sure, such a one believes the fundamentals, but the term 'fundamentalist' probably should not be ascribed to him if he is still a member of an apostate denomination. The term 'fundamentalist' is given not to those who simply believe the aforementioned fundamentals but to those who have separated themselves from those who do not. Praise God for the minority of courageous fundamentalist Christians who have “come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord” (2nd Corinthians 6:17b). My heart is with FBCH and HAC, and always will be, but as long as they are presently denying the inspiration and accuracy of the King James Bible, I cannot stand behind them. I breaks my heart that my home college no longer stands behind me as one of their graduates, because I am preaching the same exact truth that Brother Hyles taught and preached!!! God help us!

During the nightmarish attack against Pastor Hyles and ministry in 1989, he said these tremendous words...

Amen and amen! I am grateful that I was there in 1989 to stand faithful alongside Brother Hyles during the darkest years of his life and ministry. By God's grace, I was a friend at midnight!

You give your loyalty to what we stand for today, and if tomorrow we don't stand for it, you withdraw your loyalty—loyalty to principle, loyalty to right, loyalty to character, loyalty to integrity, loyalty to conviction, loyalty to truth; not loyalty to institutions.” —Dr. Jack Hyles, “Filled With All The Fulness Of God”

If the inspiration of the King James Bible is a trifle matter to you, then GET RIGHT WITH GOD dear reader. If we do not have a perfect inspired Holy Bible in the English language today, then we don't have the truth. Jesus said in 𝗠𝗮𝘁𝘁𝗵𝗲𝘄 𝟰:𝟰𝗯, “𝗜𝘁 𝗶𝘀 𝘄𝗿𝗶𝘁𝘁𝗲𝗻, 𝗠𝗮𝗻 𝘀𝗵𝗮𝗹𝗹 𝗻𝗼𝘁 𝗹𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗯𝘆 𝗯𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗱 𝗮𝗹𝗼𝗻𝗲, 𝗯𝘂𝘁 𝗯𝘆 𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘆 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗱 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗰𝗲𝗲𝗱𝗲𝘁𝗵 𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗺𝗼𝘂𝘁𝗵 𝗼𝗳 𝗚𝗼𝗱” (Jesus is quoting Moses from Deuteronomy 8:3). If I am to live by EVERY WORD of God, then I need an EVERY WORD Bible! That is, a correct translation!!!

The King James Bible is Inspired by God

Don't anyone dare try to convince me that our omnipotent faithful Creator, who created two trillion known galaxies by the mere Word of His mouth, was too incapable, incompetent or inept to give us a perfect and inspired Holy Bible in the English language today.

And don't you dare try to convince me that God intended for us to all become Hebrew, Chaldean and Greek scholars so that we could find and grasp the truth of His inspired Words. Which Greek? Even leading language experts cannot agree on which ancient texts are inspired, non-inspired or corrupt.

In the Old Testament there is a remarkable true story of King Solomon and two women fighting over a living child, because one of the mothers unintentionally laid upon and smothered her baby to death. Solomon asks for a sword to cut the baby in half. The one woman agreed to kill the child, each taking half. But the other woman burst out in tears and told Solomon to give the child to the other woman, thus revealing that she was indeed the child's real mother. Likewise, only the King James Bible only crowd today are crying out not to divide, tamper with or change the Holy Bible, while the Devil's religious crowd incessantly call for another Bible revision, wanting to divide the Word of God into pieces. Case in point, read this article.

It couldn't be more obvious that Satan's paw prints are upon all of the modern English Bible revisions. Dr. Hyles was right, "If you've seen one Westcott and Hort translation you've seen 'em all." Dr. Douglas D. Stauffer is right that only the inspired King James Bible stands alone!

By denying the inspiration of the King James Bible, Pastor Schaap invited a deadly Trojan Horse into the church and college. And as I type, some of the members of the First Baptist Church of Hammond are using the Devil's modern revisions, and according to Pastor Wilkerson's own words he refuses to criticize those fake bibles, lest he be "disrespectful" toward baby believers. What a cop out! Those people should be warned!!! They're going to get serious spiritual food poisoning consuming the Devil's corruptible seed.

When I attended the shameful Harvest Baptist Church on Guam in 2014, I was driving one day while listening to their KHMG 88.1 FM radio station which is broadcast throughout Micronesia. I heard Jared Baldwin, one of their incompetent associate pastors, quote James 5:16 from the corrupt Easy-To-Read Version (ERV), which says to confess our "sins" one to another. That is what he admitted to doing, confessing his "sins" to Marty Herron, the senior incompetent clown for a pastor. The King James Bible rightly says to confess our "faults" (not sins) one to another. RIGHT DOCTRINE MATTERS!!!

Dr. Jack Hyles began preaching at the age of nineteen and pastured for over half a century. At the time of his death, First Baptist Church of Hammond, Indiana, had a membership of over one hundred thousand. For several years, twenty thousand folks per year made public professions of faith and ten thousand of those were baptized. Dr. Elmer Towns declared First Baptist Church as the "World's Largest Sunday School."

Dr. Hyles has authored forty-nine books and pamphlets, exceeding over ten million copies in sales. He preached over sixty thousand sermons in every state in the union and in many foreign countries. He conducted an annual Pastors' School where thousands of pastors attended.

The following excerpts were taken from Dr. Hyles' book "The Need for an Every- Word Bible."

"This statement is from the chairman of Bible at one of our well-known Bible colleges. He said, 'There is no perfect translation.' What am I going to take soul winning? If there is no perfect English translation, I have no perfect Bible. My mother was wrong, and so was yours." (Page 26)

"Don't tell me I've been preaching from an imperfect Bible for 50 years! Don't tell me First Baptist Church of Hammond is built on an imperfect Bible! Don't be loyal to some institution! Be loyal to God's Book." (Page 26)

"If the day ever comes that some teacher at Hyles-Anderson College teaches that we have no perfect English translation in the King James Bible, that rascal will never walk on campus again. He'll never teach another class." (Page 27)

"If we have no perfect English Bible, what am I going to preach? What seed am I going to take soul winning? How am I going to live? I have to live by every word. How am I going to get my prayers answered? How can I find the will of God? How can I live a life for Christ when I have to have every word by which to live?" (Page 27)

It makes all the difference in the world! What that preacher better do is take the Bible rather than some institution to which he subscribes his loyalty. What he better do is stop and realize that if we have no perfect English Bible, we cannot live because, ''...Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeded! out of the mouth of God." Thank God For Faithful Servant Pastor David Baker Sr.

I am so grateful to Pastor David Mark Baker Sr. (February 5, 1967 - September 11, 2024) of the lighthouse Baptist Church in Columbus, Tennessee, where he was the faithful pastor for 31 years from 1993 to 2024 Dr. baker faithfully served our Lord Jesus Christ. He admirably served in prison ministries for 28 years, helping men who were captured by Satan (Acts 26:17-18).

Dr. Baker was also involved in a ministry of restoring fallen preachers, called Restoration Care Ministries (RCM). God bless that dear saint of God! Preachers are on the front lines of the war between good and evil today, hated by the Devil's children. John 15:19, “If ye were of the world, the world would love his own: but because ye are not of the world, but I have chosen you out of the world, therefore the world hateth you.”

Case in point. Long time rock band KISS Frontman Gene Simmons (real Jewish name: Chaim Witz) has boasted publicly of having commit fornication with 5,000 women (Hebrews 13:4), which the American newsmedia sanctions and even rewards, continually praising Mr. Simmons for his musical success. Even U.S. President Donald Trump honored Gene Simmons in 2025. SHAME!!!

Yet, when Pastor Baker was merely accused in 2024 of wrong doing, the wicked media ran with the story as if it were Gospel truth and demonized him without mercy. The poor fella didn't even have his day in court yet before slanderers, haters and the wicked media tore him down. The truth is that they hated Brother Baker because he was a fundamentalist Bible preacher, just like the world hated Jesus (John 7:7). ...

Whatever happened to a person being deemed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law? Anyone would feel overwhelmed when the media and haters go after an accused man without mercy to slander and hated on them. Proverbs 11:9, “An hypocrite with his mouth destroyeth his neighbour: but through knowledge shall the just be delivered.” Sadly, Brother Baker took his own life on September 11, 2024. I miss my dear ministry friend!

The Bible identifies Satan as THE ACCUSER OF THE BRETHREN! Revelation 12:10, “And I heard a loud voice saying in heaven, Now is come salvation, and strength, and the kingdom of our God, and the power of his Christ: for the accuser of our brethren is cast down, which accused them before our God day and night.” Lucifer's day of reckoning is coming, when he will split Hell wide open for his crimes against God and humanity.

When you unjustly accuse someone without proof, you are behaving just like the Devil. That's why we have a proper legal court system! In the court of public opinion there is no cross-examination, you are automatically presumed guilty and your name and reputation are ruined before you've even been to court. That is as evil and Satanic as idolatry, murder, witchcraft and the Church of Satan!

The ungodly media in Columbus, Tennessee, published the slander of one bitter, angry, ungodly woman against Pastor Baker, and that became their sole opinion of Pastor Baker's entire life. SHAME on the media! Woe unto that news station on Judgment Day. If I, being a broken guilty redeemed sinner (like you are too), can see the utter hypocrisy of the secular media and the heathen, do you think our omnipotent, omniscient and just Creator doesn't see it? Hebrews 4:12, “Neither is there any creature that is not manifest in his sight: but all things are naked and opened unto the eyes of him with whom we have to do.”

We are living in a wicked generation in the United States where people who go into sin are often kicked in the head by self-righteous haters. Our American news media is toxic! All they do is criticize, find fault, tear down and assume guilty before there is even a proper court trial.

Matthew 7:1-5, “Judge not, that ye be not judged. For with what judgment ye judge, ye shall be judged: and with what measure ye mete, it shall be measured to you again. And why beholdest thou the mote that is in thy brother's eye, but considerest not the beam that is in thine own eye? Or how wilt thou say to thy brother, Let me pull out the mote out of thine eye; and, behold, a beam is in thine own eye? Thou hypocrite, first cast out the beam out of thine own eye; and then shalt thou see clearly to cast out the mote out of thy brother's eye.”

My heart goes out to Brother Baker's family. Pastor Baker is another unfortunate causality of this wicked generation, but be of good cheer dear saints of God because we are on the winning side through faith in Christ Jesus (John 16:33). No child of God has any charges against them in Heaven. Romans 8:33-34, “Who shall lay any thing to the charge of God's elect? It is God that justifieth. Who is he that condemneth? It is Christ that died, yea rather, that is risen again, who is even at the right hand of God, who also maketh intercession for us.” Brother Baker is safe in the Father's everlasting arms, rejoicing with the saints over souls saved, enjoying the calm and peace of Heaven. Proverbs 4:18, “But the path of the just is as the shining light, that shineth more and more unto the perfect day.”

Satan calls us by our sins; God calls us by our name. The world remembers a man for his sins and faults; but concerning the saints, God looks at the entire life (Revelation 14:13). Dear reader, Pastor David Baker fought the good fight of faith in defense of the verbal and plenary inspiration of the trustworthy King James Bible, as I am continually to do.

If you don't have a King James Bible, you don't have an inspired Holy Bible! All of the modern English Bible revisions are corrupt. To God alone be all the praise, credit and glory. Jesus is precious!!!

Be Careful About Being Braggadacious

1st Corinthians 10:5-12, “But with many of them God was not well pleased: for they were overthrown in the wilderness. Now these things were our examples, to the intent we should not lust after evil things, as they also lusted. Neither be ye idolaters, as were some of them; as it is written, The people sat down to eat and drink, and rose up to play. Neither let us commit fornication, as some of them committed, and fell in one day three and twenty thousand. Neither let us tempt Christ, as some of them also tempted, and were destroyed of serpents. Neither murmur ye, as some of them also murmured, and were destroyed of the destroyer. Now all these things happened unto them for ensamples: and they are written for our admonition, upon whom the ends of the world are come. Wherefore let him that thinketh he standeth take heed lest he fall.”

I cringe when I hear pastors being braggadocios, boasting of their success. I heard a sermon today by a popular independent fundamental Baptist pastor. If I mentioned his name everyone would instantly recognize him, if you are a fundamental Baptist. The sermon is about how him and his wife have stayed married for 25 years. Throughout the sermon he boasts that he and his wife have been careful to avoid bad friends, don't let the sun go down upon their wrath each day, take time for each other, go on cabin retreats with a fireplace, take vacations together every year, enjoy one another, et cetera. A few years later his wife was getting deep, damp and dirty with a staff member at the church where her husband was the pastor. She fell into the horrible sin of adultery for a couple months, until they were caught and exposed. The pastor resigned. That pastor is no longer braggadocios about his successful marriage.

I am thinking about another married couple. The fella was a well known pastor of one of the largest independent fundamental Baptist churches in the world. If I mentioned his name everyone would recognize him right away, if you are familiar at all with the independent Baptist movement. He and his wife were both braggadocios of their successful marriage. They both wrote books boasting about their successful marriage. In the wife's book she wrote, “I cannot believe the type of men that some women marry.” She bragged that her future was so bright that she needed to wear sunglasses, and she was wearing sunglasses to enhance her point.

The pastor and his wife relished in boasting publicly about their “happy marriage.” The cocky pastor slandered other preachers, one in particular, hypocritically accusing him publicly of “plowing with someone else's heifer” (referring to Judges 14:18). Although the pastor didn't mention the man's name, everyone knew exactly who he was talking about because his details were so vivid. I knew who he was slandering, and so did the man's mother in the church.

Well, a couple years later that cocky pastor commit adultery with a 17 year old young woman. He was sentenced to over a decade in prison. His ungodly self-righteous wife divorced him and married a different man, a stranger, a bum. This is the arrogant woman who criticized other ladies, saying, “I cannot believe the type of men that some women marry.” Uh huh! Look to thine own ways Ma'am! Some of my ministry readers may have figured out the couples I am talking about. I won't mention their names. I am not anyone's judge (James 4:12).

I wrote this article to warn others not to become haughty and braggadocios in pride just because you've enjoyed good success thus far in life. The proper Christian attitude should always be, “There but for the grace of God go I.” Proverbs 16:18, “Pride goeth before destruction, and an haughty spirit before a fall.”

Our text passage of Scripture teaches that God has intentionally shared with us the faltering and failure of the Jews in the Wilderness, and then again when 20,000 Jews were killed by God for the sin of complaining, as ensamples (examples). God hates complaining! Romans 15:4, “For whatsoever things were written aforetime were written for our learning, that we through patience and comfort of the scriptures might have hope.” God has given us hundreds of edifying biographies of Old Testament saints for our LEARNING, that by examining their lives (before, during and after their life on earth), we will find comfort and hope in the Scripture. Whereas they couldn't see their hand in front of their face during their suffering and tribulation, we have been given a privileged look into their lives. We have the special privilege of seeing the outcome of their faith in Christ (Acts 10:43).

Our text passage of Scripture from 1st Corinthians 10:5-12 teaches that God has given us Old Testament examples of how easily we can falter and go into sin, ruining our testimony. 1st Corinthians 10:11-12, “Now all these things happened unto them for ensamples: and they are written for our admonition, upon whom the ends of the world are come. Wherefore let him that thinketh he standeth take heed lest he fall.” To “admonish” means “to strongly warn; to put on guard.” God gave us these intriguing biographies of Old Testament saints as a blessing to help us live right, to warn us so that we will be on guard against evil. Proverbs 4:23, “Keep thy heart with all diligence; for out of it are the issues of life.”

I cringe whenever I hear a proud pastor bragging about his successful marriage, his big ministry, his ten thousand sermons or his great character. Proverbs 16:18, “Pride goeth before destruction, and an haughty spirit before a fall.” People compliment and thank me all the time for my website ministry, which the LORD has blessed since 2002 when by God's grace I started my Jesus-is-Savior.com website ministry. I always pass the praise onto the dear LORD. John 15:5, “I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing.”

In 2003, by God's grace I started Lovethetruth.com. In 2004, I started Godlovespeople.com. In 2005, I started Dividedbytruth.org. In 2006, I started Soulwinning.info. In 2010, I started SteelC6th.com (since I preach the Gospel this music website is also a ministry). By God's grace, in 2013, I started my Jesusisprecious.org website. Amen and amen! I am not bragging, God forbid. It has only been by God's amazing grace, by His blessed Holy Spirit working through me as a wretched redeemed sinner, that all this has been possible.

Perhaps the greatest comment I have ever received from a web visitor was about 15 years ago. He said, “Thank you for allowing God to do all this through you.” At first I was taken back by his comment. I thought to myself, “Who am I to allow God to do anything?” But then I pondered over his compliment and realized that what he said is 100% biblical. Ezekiel 22:30, “And I sought for a man among them, that should make up the hedge, and stand in the gap before me for the land, that I should not destroy it: but I found none.” We are not expendable as Christians to God. If we don't yield to serve the LORD, no one else can fill our shoes. For the past 24 years of internet ministry, by God's grace, I have humbly allowed God's Holy Spirit to work through me to preach the Gospel to the lost, and to feed Jesus' sheep.

The Sword of the Lord Is Becoming Toxic

I subscribe to the Sword Of The Lord (located in Murfreesboro, Tennessee), a publication founded in 1934 by the faithful soulwinning evangelist Dr. John R. Rice (1895-1980). Brother Rice's successor was Pastor Curtis Hutson (1934-1995). I cherish both of these faithful men of God. Today the ministry is led by Dr. Sheldon Smith, who I am not very impressed with. Dr. Smith values money more than truth. I kindly contacted the Sword of the Lord a couple years ago in 2022 to warn them about Pensacola Christian College (PCC), warning them that PCC is wrong on repentance and the Gospel. I actually found FOUR different plans of salvation at PCC. Tragically, the Sword of the Lord totally ignored me and couldn't care less about right doctrine. For years now the Sword has been promoting PCC in a large advertisement in each publication. 2nd John 1:11, “For he that biddeth him God speed is partaker of his evil deeds.”

In Volume XCII, No. 5, dated for March 6, 2026, an article appears on page 15 in the Sword of the Lord written by a pastor's wife, Janet Walsh. Her article is titled, “God Doesn't Need Me, But He Blesses Obedience.” Dear reader, that is junk theology! What do you mean God doesn't need us? You are the only Jesus that someone knows! To someone you are “the uttermost part of the earth” (Acts 1:8b). God does need you and me! There are lost sinners that only I can reach. There are lost family members that only you can reach with the Gospel.

Where did that pastor's wife ever get the erroneous idea that God doesn't need us? Get thee behind me, Satan! In Ezekiel 22:30 God said He sought for a man among the people who would “stand in the gap before me for the land, that I should not destroy it: but I found none.” God needed a man, but He couldn't find one. God didn't create another man to meet His need. There was no one! God wasn't looking for a woman. All women preachers are false prophets!

The Apostle Paul wrote in Philippians 2:20, “For I have no man likeminded, who will naturally care for your state.” Paul couldn't find a man who shared his ministry vision and burden, just like God couldn't find a man to stand in the gap in prayer before Him for the land. We are all that God has to work with dear reader. If we do not fulfill God's will for OUR LIFE, there is no one else to fill our shoes. So, yes, God does indeed need you and me, very much.

Please don't ever let some ignorant pastor's wife convince you that God doesn't need you. Regardless of whether it is the Sword of the Lord, BBN (Bible Broadcasting Network), the local church that you attend, or some lifeless religious college—I encourage you dear reader to learn to THINK OBJETIVELY, questioning everything. 1st John 4:1, “Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world.” Some of the most dangerous places to be on earth today is in Bible college or a local church. A counterfeit gospel is being preached from nearly every pulpit today. Preachers are like parrots merely repeating what other preachers say. I think for myself.

The Holy Bible prophecies in the Old Testament book of Amos that in the last days there will be a famine, not of food, but of the inspired Words of God. Amos 8:11, “Behold, the days come, saith the Lord GOD, that I will send a famine in the land, not a famine of bread, nor a thirst for water, but of hearing the words of the LORD.” With literally hundreds of English Bible revisions today, the inspired Words of God are being obscured, lost and replaced with Satan's corruptible seed (Genesis 3:15). Pastor Jack Hyles (1926-2001) uses Genesis 3:15 as his text for one of my favorite sermons titled, “The Battle Of The Ages” (1994).

It Is Only By God's Grace That We Can Do Anything

The Christian life is all about God's grace. As believers we don't grow in strength, we grow in grace. 2nd Peter 3:18, “But grow in grace, and in the knowledge of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. To him be glory both now and for ever. Amen.” The inspired Word of God teaches that Jesus (our Creator according to John 1:3 - King James Bible only) “giveth to all life, and breath, and all things” (Acts 17:25b).

Jesus plainly said in John 15:4-8, “Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, except it abide in the vine; no more can ye, except ye abide in me. I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing. If a man abide not in me, he is cast forth as a branch, and is withered; and men gather them, and cast them into the fire, and they are burned. If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you. Herein is my Father glorified, that ye bear much fruit; so shall ye be my disciples. that He is the Vine and we as saints are the branches, and without Christ we can do nothing.” This Scripture passage is talking about soulwinning.

1st Corinthians 3:6-7, “I have planted, Apollos watered; but God gave the increase. So then neither is he that planteth any thing, neither he that watereth; but God that giveth the increase.” I cannot save anybody! Romans 1:16 clearly identifies “the gospel of Christ” as “the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth.”

Carefully notice that no mention is made in Romans 1:16 of repenting of your sins, confessing Jesus publicly, getting water baptized, partaking of sacraments, inviting Jesus into your life, becoming a Christ follower, asking Jesus into your heart, being willing to turn from your past sinful ways, surrendering your will to live an obedient life, living a lifestyle of repentance, nor any other garbage; the inspired Scripture simply promises eternal life to “every one that believeth.” John 6:47, “ Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me hath everlasting life.”

Dear reader, if my website and blog ministry have been a blessing to you, then know that it is only because of God's blessed Holy Spirit working through me as His child. Hebrews 4:14-16, “Seeing then that we have a great high priest, that is passed into the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold fast our profession. For we have not an high priest which cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities; but was in all points tempted like as we are, yet without sin. Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need.“

I first read and fell in love with this precious passage of Scripture during my first year at Hyles-Anderson College while living in the dorms. Once I read this passage and it burned into my heart the confidence to approach God's throne of grace boldly, I have never forgotten what I learned. Whereas the unsaved sinner has no right to come before God's throne, every redeemed sinner whose faith is in Jesus Christ does. That is a great comfort and confidence!

I have tried carefully over the decades of my ministry not to become braggadocios. My life has been a trainwreck. My marriage has been a nightmare. My health afflictions are many and debilitating. I am a broken sinner saved by the undeserving grace of God. I do not claim to be a good Christian, but God knows that I do truly care. I CARE! The most important job is the one that doesn't get done! The reason why Pensacola Christian College has FOUR different plans of salvation is simply because they don't care. Just like Romans 16:17-18 says, PCC are in the ministry for the INCOME, not the OUTCOME. Romans 16:18, “For they that are such serve not our Lord Jesus Christ, but their own belly; and by good words and fair speeches deceive the hearts of the simple.” At PCC, they don't pay attention to the details because it's not a priority to them. The accuracy of the Gospel doesn't matter at PCC.

You'll find everything from a free grace Gospel to Lordship Salvation officially being taught at their dungheap for a college. I heard assistant pastor Timothy Zacharias on July 21, 2021 (at a Wednesday evening service) errantly teach that you must repent to change your behavior to get to Heaven. That is another gospel! Such recklessness clearly evidences that they are only in the religious business to make money. PCC take in $175,000,000 each year! I feel sorry for any parent who financially pays for their impressionable child to go to such a blatant cult.

Always Credit God For The Good Things In Your Life

I began this article by mentioning two married couples in the clergy who were braggadocios about their marriages, but years later when calamity struck home and their marriages fell apart, they weren't so cocky. If you have been married for 40 or 50 years, you had better glorify God and testify that it was only by God's goodness, mercy and grace that you didn't end up divorced. Ladies and gentlemen, we don't give God enough due credit...

Daniel 5:23, “But hast lifted up thyself against the LORD of heaven; and they have brought the vessels of his house before thee, and thou, and thy lords, thy wives, and thy concubines, have drunk wine in them; and thou hast praised the gods of silver, and gold, of brass, iron, wood, and stone, which see not, nor hear, nor know: and the God in whose hand thy breath is, and whose are all thy ways, hast thou not glorified.”

I cringed today as I heard a fundamentalist Baptist pastor giving all the reasons in a sermon why he and his wife have been married for 25 years. A couple years later when his pretty wife was being banged in bed by another man in the church, he wasn't so arrogant and confident about their marriage success. I refuse to boast about any of my own accomplishments. God is the Potter; We are the clay.

Also, please do not ever commit the foolish sin of boasting that your child is an honor role student without glorifying God, because that child could someday break your heart and wind up serving life in prison, overdose to death on drugs, or shame you in a hundred possible ways. We live in a wicked humanistic society in the United States. McDonald's says, “You Deserve a Break Today,” but the Holy Bible says you deserve to burn in Hell forever (Revelation 21:8). Burger King says, “Have It Your Way!,” but the Holy Bible says to follow God's way (Proverbs 3:5-7).

The food we eat is by God's grace. The roof provided over our head is by God's grace. James 1:17, “Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and cometh down from the Father of lights, with whom is no variableness, neither shadow of turning.” There are 10,080 minutes in each week. Have we thanked God with even one of those minutes?

Al Capone's Wife Mae Stayed Faithful To Him In Prison

The other carnal pastor's wife I mentioned earlier, who said in her book that she couldn't believe the type of men that some women marry, ended up abandoning her husband while he was rotting in prison and she cruelly married another man. What a wicked thing to do! Marriage vows mean nothing anymore! The marriage license is a worthless piece of paper these days, when courts nationwide allow “no fault divorces” for any reason. What do you mean no fault? You're both at fault!!!

And by the way, adultery is NOT biblical grounds for divorce. You mean to tell me that you couldn't divorce a spouse like Al Capone who murdered dozens of gangsters, but you can for adultery? You're a fool if you believe it is okay to divorce an unfaithful spouse! When Jesus spoke of divorcing in the case fornication, He clearly meant during the courtship phase (as is perfectly illustrated in the case of Joseph and Mary in the New Testament).

By divorcing her husband while he was alone in prison, that wicked pastor's wife I just mentioned a moment ago was being self-righteous. She is just as much a rotten sinner as her adulterous husband! She shouldn't have condemned her husband for sinning differently than she did. The wife of infamous gangster Al Capone (1899-1947) stayed faithful to him while he rotted in prison serving an 11 year sentence for tax evasion? What a gal!

Al Capone contracted the disease syphilis from his years of philandering with harlots. He entered into prison with the disease in 1931, but Penicillin (the cure) wasn't discovered by the military until 1939. So, he went untreated in prison. Capone's brain and bones were eaten with holes by the time he was released from prison in 1939. Yet, his wife Mae Capone stayed faithfully married to Al, until death did they part. Shame on that wicked pastor's wife for divorcing her imperfect husband, when the wife of the world's most notorious gangster stayed faithful to her husband all his life. Truly, Christians behave worse than the world sometimes.

Please Remember My Health Afflictions In Your Prayers

Psalms 145:9, “The LORD is good to all: and his tender mercies are over all his works.”

Please keep me in your prayers. I don't mention my own suffering very often, because I want to stay focused on the things of God. I was rear-ended by a full-sized 72 passenger school bus in 1992 while driving a church bus for the Lord, at the First Baptist Church of Hammond. I was also driving a full-sized bus. Someone irresponsibly left an abandoned car on the roadway, which set up the accident involving three church buses from Hammond. I slammed on the breaks to avoid hitting the car, but the guy behind me wasn't paying attention. The driver struck our bus so hard that his bus was totaled. His engine and transmission were shattered into hundreds of pieces on the ground. Vehicle fluids were everywhere.

At least two dozen ambulances came to the accident scene. The head of the bus worker sitting in the back seat of the bus went through the window. I saw blood and a big hole in the glass. The insurance company didn't even try to repair the other bus, they just bought a brand new bus for the Illinois Bus Company. Bus director Danny Club said it was the second to worst accident in the history of the First Baptist Church of Hammond. The worst was when a boy stuck his head out the window, and as the bus dipped over the curb leaving the church parking lot, his head was pinched between a telephone pole and the bus, and he died. His mother was sitting right behind him, spattered with his blood. It is so heartbreaking.

That's why there are rules not to lower the window below the halfway line, but I could mention some names (but I won't) of men that I went to school with, who are pastoring today, who broke the rules all the time. It sickens me still today, 35 years later. I actually had one bus captain ask me to drive the church bus over train tracks while the lights were flashing and the gates were down. I refused to do it. Sadly, a lot of young guys are IDIOTS!

Anyway, my driver's seat was broken off its hinges. Try to imagine the amount of blunt force energy required to pass through the chassis of a 72 passenger full-sized school bus, to break the driver's seat off its hinges. I went to the hospital and they took x-rays, but they weren't trained to look for misalignment of my spine. Nothing was broken, but my neck was crooked, and I didn't know it at the time. That misalignment of my cervical (neck) spine 12 years later led to Degenerative Cervical Disk Disease (which essentially means my neck is falling apart slowly as I grow older).

After 4 months of taking my money and doing nothing, I told the chiropractor that enough was enough. So, he sent me to Chicago MRI in 2004 and they diagnosed me with protruding disks at C4-C5-C6-C7. My chronic burning neck pain and stiff tension literally started over night. I had experienced mild tension previously, but it became much worse in February of 2004.

I wasn't a candidate for neck surgery at the time, because I didn't have any radiating pain, yet. In 2005, I tumbled 15 feet down a mailslide at the U.S. postal Service. Some packages on a conveyor belt had buckled, breaking two fluorescent bulbs. I worked in maintenance and was called to replace the bulbs, which I did. The packages had been sticking to the slide, so my boss in his infinite wisdom handed me some baby powder to give mail processing to make the packages slide better. Well, I slipped on the baby powder and as they say, "The rest is history!" I fell hard which worsened my existing neck injury. I now felt sharp radiating pain down both arms, and 80% on the right side of my body. I was then a candidate for surgery.

By 2009 I couldn't take the pain anymore radiating down my right arm. So I had my first Anterior Cervical Discectomy and Fusion (ACDF) surgery done at Cedar's Sinai in Los Angels. I lived on the island of Guam at the time. My primary care doctor on Guam said afterwards that they did the bare minimum, so in 2010 I had the surgery redone in Long Beach, California. That second surgery made me 100% worse, leaving both of my arms feeling inflated with air all the time. My right leg still today goes numb and the whole right side of my body feels half asleep all the time.

The constant agonizing osteoarthritic pain in the bony area of the back of my neck is debilitating. I also suffer from constant neck tension, which I've had for 34 years now. I had totally forgotten about the rear-end collision in 1992, and I remember that at work I used to often wonder why my neck was so tense, when nothing was wrong to make me tense. I had totally forgotten about the whiplash. After the accident, for about 2 weeks it felt like an iron rod was put inside my neck. I felt horrible tight tension until the trauma of the accident had diminished, and then I forgot about the accident, not realizing that my spine was misaligned.

It wasn't until 2004 that a chiropractor told me what had happened, and showed me from an x-ray that I have what is medically known as, "Reverse Cervical Curve." That abnormal alignment on my cervical spine caused the junction between the cervical and thorax spine to eventually deteriorate, which injury is permanent.

I also suffer from constant burning nerves throughout my upper body, which very unpleasant feeling I cannot express in words. It feels like I am on fire, not fire fire, but nerve fire. Both of my arms still feel pumped up with air, doubled in size all the time. I suffer from neck atrophy (stiffness), sometimes scraping the bald top of my head when I get into my car. I have to do regular stretching exercising to prevent further atrophy. There is no medical cure for my adverse afflictions. I've undergone 5 months of torturous physical therapy, 3 useless steroid injections, multiple worthless TENS unit, useless cold and hot packs, non helpful multiple chiropractors, two major surgeries that made me much worse, et cetera. I have prayed hundreds of times over the decades for the good LORD to heal me, but this is my thorn in the flesh. Blessed be the name of the Lord Jesus Christ!

To make matters worse, doctors are afraid of the government today. At one time on Guam (around 2011) I was prescribed 140 mg daily of OxyContin (and another 60 mg of Morphine Sulfate). The good ole days! Now, in Pensacola, Florida, the only pain doctor I could find who would accept me as a patient only prescribes 40 mg a day, which is not near enough pain drugs. Thankfully, she also prescribes 2 pills of Percocet 10/325, which helps for 5 hours a day. I have no complaints to the dear LORD. I see miserable people completely paralyzed in wheel chairs and hospital beds, totally incapacitated. So I count my lucky stars and bless the LORD. Pastor Jack Hyles said that when palsied people came to counsel with him, sometimes after they left he would jump up and down, praising and thanking God for his health.

By the time Dr. Hyles reached his 70's, he suffered from 10 different medical afflictions. He wore hearing aids in both ears. He had a hernia that he never had fixed and died with it. he suffered from cataracts in both eyes. He had a physical heart condition, which he learned about the very same day that his dear grandson was sadly killed in an accident in Florida. Brother Hyles had health issues with his feet. As we grow older, we collect injuries, scars and health problems. It's just the way of life. King David in the Bible speaks of his rotting teeth, the stench of his disease (likely venereal disease from all his philandering with women) and his poor eyesight. Getting old is no fun.

That all being said my ministry friends, please remember me in your prayers. I am hurting much. I rarely feel like going onto social media. I have had to kindly tell several dozen people on social media that I do not "chat" online. I don't have the patience for pen pals, buddies or making small talk online. I welcome and love answering Bible questions, by God's grace, but due to my health afflictions I don't have the energy to chat with people in conversation. I do it from time to time randomly, but try to avoid it as a practice.

One of my favorite sermons by Pastor Jack Hyles (1926-2001) is titled, “The Patient Waiting Of Christ,” in which he talks about having a burden that will never go away. My heath afflictions are permanent, 'til death do us part. It is only God's grace that sustains me day by day...

James 5:10-11, “Take, my brethren, the prophets, who have spoken in the name of the Lord, for an example of suffering affliction, and of patience. Behold, we count them happy which endure. Ye have heard of the patience of Job, and have seen the end of the Lord; that the Lord is very pitiful, and of tender mercy.”

Gratefully, God has given me the perfect website ministry, which I can work on night or day at my leisure. I can and often do walk away from my computer just to go lay down. I need a calm harbor in my life more than anything.

I just turned 59 years old, by God's goodness and grace, and I simply cannot process chaos like I could in my 30's. I live a simple life. I don't sign anything unless I have to. I check my mailbox once a week. I never answer my phone, I let T-Mobile's Voice Mail record all incoming messages. I have a sweet deal with T-Mobile. I only pay $15 a month for unlimited calls and text. I bought my Samsung Galaxy Note 10 Plus on Amazon refurbished for $250 and love it. I digress.

I rarely feel like doing anything, going anywhere or being around people. It is difficult for me to sit though a church service. I have to make myself doing anything. I love playing stringed instruments, but rarely feel like playing them. I have to make myself do it, but can only play for awhile before I need to stop and go rest. I push myself on some days, but due to my pain and related bodily afflictions I am easily irritated and frustrated. One of my all-time favorite sermons by Pastor Jack Hyles is titled, "At First You Just Exist."

I think about that sermon probably more than any other sermon by Brother Hyles, because it is very applicable to my life. Oftentimes I just have to exist, even though I don't want to. I am not suicidal, I just want to go home to be with Jesus. Philippians 1:21, “For to me to live is Christ, and to die is gain.” You won't hear me often complaining about my health afflictions. First, it doesn't make anything better. Second, people don't want to hear it all the time. Third, I have spent the past 24 years of website ministry focusing on helping others, which has given me strength to keep going for Christ. David said in 1st Samuel 17:29b, “Is there not a cause?” Yes, there is a cause and by God's grace I am fulfilling it for my dear Savior. Colossians 4:17, “Take heed to the ministry which thou hast received in the Lord, that thou fulfil it.” One day at a time!

I have always believed that when I get upset, that God is glad to see that someone else cares enough about right doctrine, the purity of the Holy Bible and the accuracy of the Gospel to get worked up and angry over it. Throughout the Bible God often got angry. He wanted to kill the Hebrews at Mount Sinai. The Lord wanted to kill Moses for not circumcising his son. God has a righteous temper (Psalms 6:1). Dr. Hyles had a righteous temper. God pity the Bible preacher who never gets angry over sin, heresy and corruption.

My constant debilitating burning neck pain, inexplicable horrible burning nerves, the right side of my body feeling half asleep all the time, stiff neck tension, adverse drug side effects and related bodily afflictions keep me humble in the LORD. God is faithful (1st Corinthians 1:9). Trying to explain to others what I am suffering through is like trying to describe what it feels like to get hit by a car versus getting hit by a car yourself. There is no comparison!

Thank you for your patience with this broken fundamentalist Bible preacher. Fundamentalists are much hated by ungodly neo-evangelicals today. That is why I have been kicked out of most of the churches I have attended over the past 15 years, including Campus Church at Pensacola Christian College and Family Baptist Church in Pensacola. Devils in the pulpit! Neo-evangelicals don't care! They're in the ministry for the income, not the outcome (Romans 16:17-18).

Actor Chuck Norris Preached A Counterfeit Gospel

Galatians 1:6-8, “I marvel that ye are so soon removed from him that called you into the grace of Christ unto another gospel: Which is not another; but there be some that trouble you, and would pervert the gospel of Christ. But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed.”

I was looking back in 2016 at Hollywood actor Chuck Norris' (1940-2026) website, at a resource page titled “FREE GIFT” (his website no longer exists, but I will leave these dead links as evidence that they once existed). Chuck Norris was a professed Christian. Although I admire Chuck's good reputation and his work to help youth, he was theological wrong in some of the things he taught.

First, repentance concerning salvation is always defined as “a change of mind,” and never to “turn from sins.” Mr. Norris has been deceived no doubt by some of today's apostate religious leaders. On Chuck Norris' website (see quote below) they teach the heresy, “If you are willing to repent of your sin, He is waiting to forgive you.” That is not THE GOSPEL. Where in 1st Corinthians 15:1-4 are we told that we must be willing to forsake sinful bad habits and cease from intentional sinful behavior? My friend, at best, the only thing you could do is replace your sins with self-righteousness (which is a sin too)!!! Kindly, Mr. Norris has it wrong!

Here is a more lengthy quote:

“Jesus died for you. You can be saved by asking Him for forgiveness from your sins. If you are willing to repent of your sin, He is waiting to forgive you. It doesn't matter what you have done in the past, if you cry out to Jesus for forgiveness, He will not reject you. The word 'repent' literally means 'to turn away from.' You need to look at your life, admit that you are a sinner, genuinely desire to turn your back on that sin, and ask Him to forgive you. If you do this, He promises to forgive you.”

Mr. Norris fails to understand that we don't need to ask Jesus to forgive our sins, but that error in itself won't prevent someone from being saved. But to be biblically accurate, Jesus Christ has already paid for everyone sins on the cross with His precious blood. Therefore, forgiveness is a “gift” that we simply receive to have eternal life.

But more importantly, the word “repent” does not literally mean “to turn away from.” This false understanding can and will prevent the new birth, because it is DEBT incurred by WORKS, not grace. Romans 4:4, “Now to him that worketh is the reward not reckoned of grace, but of debt.” God does not require anyone to “turn away from” sinful behavior to receive what He has already paid for in full on the cross. Kindly said, Chuck Norris makes three damnable statements, by requiring the unbiblical forsaking of your sinful behavior to get to Heaven:

If you are willing to repent of your sin.
The word 'repent' literally means 'to turn away from.'
Genuinely desire to turn your back on that sin.

No Sir, that is not the Gospel presented by the Apostle Paul (which Gospel Paul received directly from Jesus according to Galatians 1:12)...

1st Corinthians 15:16, “Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand; By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain. For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures: And that he was seen of Cephas, then of the twelve: After that, he was seen of above five hundred brethren at once; of whom the greater part remain unto this present, but some are fallen asleep.”

Now that is the biblical Gospel (which word means “Glad Tidings” or “Good News”). The Gospel is three things (none of which involve turning away from your sinful behavior)...

Jesus DIED on a cross to pay our debt of sin.
Jesus was BURIED (verifying that He was indeed deceased).
Jesus RESURRECTED physically from the dead three days later.

The Gospel of John is God's Gospel tract according to John 20:31, “But these are written, that ye might believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God; and that believing ye might have life through his name.” Yet, not once do we find any mentioned of repenting, following, submitting, confessing, serving or turning from your sins to get to Heaven. We do find the word “believe” mentioned in the Gospel of John 85 times. John 6:47, “Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me hath everlasting life.”

Chuck Norris no doubt followed what some dingleberry neo-evangelical preacher errantly taught him. To the carnal mind it makes sense that you cannot expect God to forgive your sins when you have no intention of forsaking them. But that is not a gift! Such a requirement to turn from your sinning would make salvation an exchange, a trade of sorts. A “gift” means that you simply take something. I never hear corrupt neo-evangelicals focus on salvation being a gift. I never hear them talk about the imputed righteousness of God.

In fact, in Ray Comfort's 'THE EVIDENCE BIBLE' (2011), he fails to even comment on any of the eight New Testament Bible passages which mention the word “impute.” The damnable heresy that God will not save you unless you first commit to forsake your sinful bad habits is of the Devil. No such requirement is taught in the inspired King James Bible. Pastor Curtis Hutson (1934-1995) nails repentance in this helpful sermon excerpt.

By the way, I cannot warn you enough to stay away from all modern English Bible revisions. The publishers are all blatant liars, who despite claiming that they used the most reliable ancient texts, their work is just another Brooke Westcott and Fenton Hort clone. Case in point, the Amplified Bible (AMP) removes all eight mentions of the word “impute“” from the New Testament. With this tragic fact in mind, it is not hard to see why Ray Comfort never once comments in his Bible commentary on the great doctrine of imputation in God' Word. Ray is using the Devil's corrupt seed. Please use only the inspired King James Bible.

The truth is that to be saved you simply come to God as a wretched sinner, just as I am without one plea, and you freely accept by faith (taking God at His written Word) Christ's sacrifice on the cross as full payment for your sins, believing that He was buried, but then raised up from the dead the third day. That's all that God requires. This is the only Gospel by which all who BELIEVE IT are saved (Romans 1:16). Faith is the only righteous thing that I can do.

Wicked Men Changed The Bible Meaning Of Repentance

So, where in the world did religious men everywhere in the world get the faulty unbiblical idea that you cannot get to Heaven unless you are willing to forsake your sinful bad habits? They got it from the Devil, that's where. All of the modern corrupt Bible revisions tamper with the Scriptures, redefining “repentance” to mean forsaking you sinful ways, rather than leaving it alone to simply mean “a change of mind” (Greek noun: metanoia). Here is an example of how the Devil's modern perversions have corrupted the true meaning of repentance.

King James Bible (KJB) - Hebrews 6:1, “Therefore leaving the principles of the doctrine of Christ, let us go on unto perfection; not laying again the foundation of repentance from dead works, and of faith toward God.”
[emphasis added]

Easy-To-Read Version (ERV) - Hebrews 6:1, “So we should be finished with the beginning lessons about Christ. We should not have to keep going back to where we started. We began our new life by turning away from the evil we did in the past and by believing in God.” [emphasis added]

Whoa! What gross incompetence by the ERV translators! The trustworthy King James Bible teaches to repent from DEAD WORKS. That is, all self-righteous works that you have been foolishly trusting in to get you to Heaven, which includes good works and bad works alike. Turning away from your sins to be saved would fall under DEAD WORKS! Salvation is WITHOUT WORKS (Romans 4:5-7). To turn from your bad works is a good work!

The ERV blatantly perverts the truth of God's Word, requiring the reader to TURN AWAY FROM THE EVIL YOU DID IN THE PAST. Ladies and gentlemen, that is 100% WORKS; not God's saving GRACE, which is by childlike faith alone in the Gospel. The ERV is of the Devil, as corrupt as can be concerning God's simple plan of salvation. I have shown you just one of Satan's perverted Bible revisions today, but there are hundreds of similar corrupt English versions being sold on the market today. It is filthy lucre and blood money! RIGHT DOCTRINE MATTERS!!!

In this lame video, Chuck Norris in no way indicates that he has ever been born again. I seriously question whether the 86-year-old actor went to Heaven. YouTube is filled with similar lame say-nothing-of-essence type videos featuring Chick Norris' so-called Christian testimony. I cannot say with any certainty that Mr. Norris went to Hell, but neither can I say that he didn't. I do know of a certainty on the authority of God's inspired Word, that what Chuck Norris posted on his personal website in 2016 is a counterfeit plan of salvation; a false gospel that simply cannot produce the required new birth to enter into God's Kingdom (John 3:1-7).

Chuck Norris tragically adhered to the Roman Catholic definition of repentance, not the true biblical Greek meaning. In Acts 20:21, the Holy Bible speaks of “repentance toward God.” Who says repentance means “to turn away from”? Why not toward God? Friend, repentance is toward God from unbelief. It may be that a man's sinful ways hinder him from coming to Christ to be saved (John 3:20). But that sinner doesn't need to repent from his sins to be saved, he needs to repent TOWARD GOD from his unbelief, believing the Good News of Jesus Christ crucified, buried and bodily risen from the dead the third day! 1st Thessalonians 4:14, “For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with him.”

When a man “repents,” he thinks differently. He acknowledges that he is a guilty sinner in need of a Savior. He believes the Gospel by faith to be saved. The entire notion of a man turning away from sins to be saved is self-righteousness—a works-based plan of salvation which does not produce the new birth by the Holy Spirit of God.

Galatians 3:2, “This only would I learn of you, Received ye the Spirit by the works of the law, or by the hearing of faith?” Notice carefully in the preceding Scripture passage that no mention is made of “turning from sins” nor of “being willing to turn from sins” to be saved. No, rather, we are saved by simply receiving the Gospel by faith when we hear it preached. It is that simple to be saved. On the Day of Pentecost, the apostle Peter preached the Gospel and 3,000 souls were saved in one day. Acts 2:41, “Then they that gladly received his word...” Those 3,000 sinners got saved by simply BELIEVING the Good News about Jesus' crucifixtion, burial and resurrection which they heard Peter preach unto them.

Likewise in Acts chapter 10 regarding Cornelius the Italian centurion. The Apostle Peter never told Cornelius and his companions to do anything. Peter simply preached the light of the truth of the Gospel unto them and they were saved they moment that they believed it. Acts 10:44, “While Peter yet spake these words, the Holy Ghost fell on all them which heard the word.” They put their faith in the Gospel they heard and were immediately saved and indwelt with the Holy Spirit, which is also what Galatians 3:2 means, “This only would I learn of you, Received ye the Spirit by the works of the law, or by the hearing of faith?”

John 3:20, “For every one that doeth evil hateth the light, neither cometh to the light, lest his deeds should be reproved.” Repentance is not “from sins”; but rather, from the “unbelief” that has been hindering you from being saved. Carefully notice in John 3:21a that the Bible doesn't say, “but he that turneth from his sins cometh to the light.” No, it says, “But he that doeth truth cometh to the light...” I humbly think Pastor Harry A. Ironside (1876-1951) said it best...

“Which comes first, repentance or faith? In Scripture we read, 'Repent ye, and believe the gospel.' Yet we find true believers exhorted to 'repent, and do the first works.' So intimately are the two related that you cannot have one without the other. The man who believes God repents; the repentant soul puts his trust in the Lord when the Gospel is revealed to him. Theologians may wrangle over this, but the fact is, no man repents until the Holy Spirit produces repentance in his soul through the truth. No man believes the Gospel and rests in it for his own salvation until he has judged himself as a needy sinner before God. And this is repentance.” ('Except Ye Repent,' p. 16)

Amen and amen, I fully agree.

Mark 6:6 and 12, “And he marvelled because of their unbelief. And he went round about the villages, teaching. ... And they went out, and preached that men should repent.” You don't need to pray to be saved. The Scriptures tell us that whosoever BELIEVES is saved. 1st Corinthians 1:21, “For after that in the wisdom of God the world by wisdom knew not God, it pleased God by the foolishness of preaching to save them that believe.”

Right Doctrine Matters

Beware of all the dangerous false teachers nowadays which tell you to: “Invite Jesus into your life,” “Ask Jesus into your heart,” “Confess Christ before men,” “Turn from sins,” “Follow Christ,” “Pray a Sinner's Prayer,” “Have a relationship with Jesus” and “Say 'Jesus is Lord'” to be saved. The Gospel... The Gospel... The Gospel.

Let that be our proclamation!!! We must refute the popular false teachings nowadays to “Invite Jesus into your life,” “Commit your life to Christ,” “Ask Jesus into your heart,” “Pray a Sinner's Prayer,” “Say 'Jesus is Lord'” and “Follow Christ” to be saved. Again, none of these things constitute THE GOSPEL. You may do all these things and yet split Hell wide open when you enter into eternity!!! Satan is smarter than any man. The Devil knows that the best way to take people to Hell is to substitute religion in their life for THE GOSPEL (Matthew 7:21-23). Here is an excellent writing by Dr. Harry Ironside titled, “WHAT IS THE GOSPEL?” Satan's greatest weapon is to con people into living the Christian life without ever being born again.

We can only hope that Chuck Norris went to Heaven. Since the only salvation testimony that I could find from Chuck Norris is of him requiring forsaking your sinful behavior to be saved, I doubt his salvation. That is not the Gospel. God does not allow variations of His simple plan of salvation, and if He does, then how much can someone be off the mark concerning the Gospel and still be saved? What about Mormons, Jehovah's Witnesses, Church of Christ, Seventh-Day Adventists and Roman Catholics who require water baptism to get to Heaven? Are they still saved even though they are in error concerning the Gospel?

How about those who add keeping sacraments to faith, which Lutherans are guilty of doing? Does God cut them some slack because they are sincere in their ignorance? I humbly think not dear reader. What saith the Scripture? Proverbs 14:12, “There is a way which seemeth right unto a man, but the end thereof are the ways of death.” If God were to allow an exception for some, but not for others, then He would be a respect of persons. God is not a respecter of persons (Romans 2:11). I contend biblically that the moment you add anything to trust alone in Christ alone, you have perverted the Gospel and cannot be saved.

The true Gospel always points you to CHRIST; a false gospel always points to YOU. The sad fact that Chuck Norris thought it was necessary to cease from his past sinful behavior to get to Heaven, is not the Gospel taught in the inspired King James Bible. The bottom line dear reader is that what Chuck Norris teaches concerning how to get saved, doesn't match what Jesus teaches in the Bible concerning how to get to Heaven. RIGHT DOCTRINE MATTERS!

I fully understand that Chuck Norris was not a Bible preacher or theologian, which is exactly why people like him ought not teach others the inspired Word of God, which they do unto their own destruction and the destruction of those who follow them (2nd Peter 3:16-17). I am glad that Chuck took his website down. I tried to find out why Mr. Norris removed his website, but couldn't find any information.

I tried today to find a clear salvation testimony on social media from Chuck Norris, but there is nothing. I found this article that says Chuck gave his life to Christ at age 12, but that is not the Gospel. Judas Iscariot also gave his life to Christ too, and is burning in the fires of Hell forever. The false prophets in Matthew 7:21-23 cast out Devils, just like Judas was given power by Christ to do in Matthew 11:1.

In all his video testimonies, Chuck Norris merely says that in Hollywood he wandered away from his childhood faith which was instilled in him by his mother, and then decades later his second wife Gena influenced him to return to his childhood faith. But Norris fails to tells the world what he actually has faith in, other than Jesus. Every pseudo-Christian religious cult believes in Jesus! The only testimony that we have to go on is from Chuck's website in 2016, which was unfortunately a counterfeit plan of salvation.

According to Conservative Underground News...

“Chuck Norris accepted Christ at age 12 at Calvary Baptist Church, then rededicated his life as a young man at a Billy Graham crusade in Los Angeles.” SOURCE

On their website for Calvary Baptist Church in Los Angeles, where Chuck Norris claims he was saved as a 12-year-old boy, here is what they write about repentance...

“We believe that repentance is a change of mind and purpose toward God prompted by the Holy Spirit; that it is characterized by godly sorrow for sin as offensive to God and ruinous to the soul; and that the true repentance is inseparably needed and related to saving faith. We believe that faith in the Lord Jesus Christ is the only condition to salvation.” SOURCE

Show me that in the inspired King James Bible! In fact, Bible repentance is “a change of mind,” period. We don't even know what to change our mind about from the word alone, supplemental information is needed. The context of a particular Scripture passage, and comparing Scripture with Scripture, provides that supplemental information.

When the Apostle Peter preached the Gospel to Cornelius and his companions in Acts chapter 10, the word “repent” was never mentioned even once. In fact, you won't find the word “ ” mentioned even once in the entire Gospel of John, which was written for the express purpose of showing the reader how to go to Heaven (John 20:31). In Acts chapter 16, where Paul and Silas show the Philippian jailer at Rome how to be saved, the word “repent” is never mentioned even once. Dear reader, it couldn't be more clear from the inspired Word of God that repentance is automatically included in believing the Gospel. That is, you have changed your mind from unbelief to belief.

Evangelist Alexander Marshall (1846-1928) gets repentance absolutely correct...

“I HAVE NOT REPENTED ENOUGH”

What do you mean? “I am not sorry enough for my sins.”

And if you were very sorry, would God be more willing to save you than He is now? “I think so.”

Then you are completely mistaken.

“But does it not say, unless we repent we shall perish?”

Yes; but what do you think is the Scriptural significance of “repentance”? If you say “sorrow for sin” you are wrong. It does not mean sorrow for sin: it means a CHANGE OF MIND (Matt. 21:29). This change will doubtless produce sorrow; but sorrow and repentance are two very different things (Heb. 12:17. margin, and II Cor. 7:9). When God calls on you to “repent, and believe the Gospel,” He wishes you to lay aside your wrong thoughts, and believe the glad tidings that He proclaims to you. Formerly you may have imagined that you were required to feel very sorry before being saved. Change your mind. You may have supposed you must first “feel” some great change in order to know you were saved. Change your mind. First believe in God's great love to you, as revealed in His gospel, and you will KNOW that you have eternal life (John 5:24).

Yes, that is excellent. Alexander Marshall is 100% correct! Yet, some unlearned heretical person changed his tract, completely removing the preceding section on repentance (that I just quoted) from the work, “God's Way Of Salvation.” Marshall plainly says that sinners are saved by BELIEVING THE GOSPEL, that is, he says: “to lay aside your wrong thoughts [Repentance], and believe the glad tidings [Gospel] that He proclaims to you.” That is absolutely biblically CORRECT!!! Bravo to this dear saint of God!

I Hope Chuck Norris Repented Of His Wrong Repentance

You cannot biblically say that Chuck Norris came close enough in his salvation beliefs, and so God understands and will let him slide; because if that were true then Roman Catholics (who are very sincere) with their Seven Sacraments (sacramental salvation) would be saved too. But I assure you on biblical authority they are not! There are no extenuating circumstances in God's courtroom when it comes to the Gospel. You either have the Gospel facts right, or you are damned for trusting in ANOTHER GOSPEL (2nd Corinthians 11:3-4).

I cannot say with any certainty that Chuck Norris went to Hell. But I can say upon the authority of the inspired Scripture that what Mr. Norris posted on his personal website in 2016 is a false gospel which cannot produce the required new birth to enter into God's Kingdom. Not one verse in the inspired King James Bible teaches that to get to Heaven you must first be sorry for your sins and be willing to forsake them. That is not how salvation works!

The correct biblical mindset is that you simply come to God by faith (taking God at His written Word) as a wretched sinner, and you accept Christ's sacrificial death on the cross as full payment for your sins, believing that Jesus was buried (proving that He was indeed dead), and then physically resurrected from the dead three days later (because if Christ didn't raise up then our faith is in vain and He cannot save us). This is the official and only “Gospel” according to 1st Corinthians 15:1-6.

And then the moment you become born again, God gives you the gift of His Holy Spirit to indwell, teach, comfort, guide, chastise and seal you permanently. The change has nothing to do with the sinner! This is where neo-evangelicals have gone horribly wrong! They require the sinner to be sorry and willing to change their behavior to be saved, placing the burden upon the sinner's shoulders instead of upon Christ who died for our sins on Calvary's cross.

A changed life has nothing to do with repentance or getting saved. A changed life is the “fruit” of the indwelling Holy Spirit (Galatians 5:22-25). But we have a daily choice as saints to either by default walk in the carnal flesh (Galatians 5:19-21), or to deliberately walk in the Spirit (Galatians 5:25). No child of God chooses to walk in the Holy Spirit 100% of the time. Although I can walk in the Spirit at any given time, I won't always make that right choice because I am still a dirty sinner (and so are you). The Apostle Paul is very transparent in Romans 7:14-25, admitting that he loses the struggle between good and evil on a regular basis.

In other words, just because you are saved (alive in the Spirit), DOES NOT guarantee that you will walk in the Spirit. The world is full of carnal, worldly, immature and backslidden believers (1st Corinthians 3:1). This is correct theology. “Your Salvation Did Not Change You A Bit” (a helpful sermon by Pastor Jack Hyles).

Most professed Christians are wrong on God's simple plan of salvation, as was Chuck Norris. Only Chuck and God knows where he went in the afterlife. I know that a lot of people are going to be upset with me for questioning Mr. Norris' salvation, because he was a good man. He lived above reproach and spent his life helping and mentoring troubled young men, and I admire him tremendously for that. I don't think you could find a better man than Chuck Norris. But consider that Cornelius was also a good man in the Bible, but lost (Acts 10:1-2). Cornelius didn't get saved until Acts 10:44. So, just because Chick Norris was a good man doesn't mean that he was saved. Please understand that I didn't write this blog to cast a negative light on an American hero, God forbid. Chuck Norris is an American hero.

I am simply using Mr. Norris' death as a ministry opportunity to address the tragic reality that Chuck Norris was wrong on God's simple plan of salvation. He had (and still does) have influence on millions of people. Norris' so-called Christian testimony is as lame and vague as can be. He claimed to have received Jesus as his “Lord and Savior” at age 12, but every hellbound Roman Catholic will testify the same thing. Catholics plainly add WORKS to faith. For someone to merely say that they received Jesus as their “Lord and Savior” says nothing. And Chuck Norris foolishly taught that to be saved you must forsake your sinning.

This is so serious a doctrinal matter dear friend, please do not glibly dismiss it as a mere matter of semantics. There is only one Gospel according to Galatians 1:6-9. The false idea that you must be sorry and turn away from your past sinful behavior to be saved is a completely different gospel; than to simply accept Christ's sacrifice on the cross as full payment for your sins, believing that He was buried, but bodily raised up after three days.

I love what U.S. President Abraham Lincoln said:

“In great contests [battles], each party claims to act in accordance with the will of God—both may be, but one must be, wrong—God cannot be for and against the same thing at the same time!” —President Abraham Lincoln

Why did Mr. Lincoln say that? It is because both the Northern Union and the Southern Confederacy claimed to be doing “God's will” in fighting The Civil War (1860-1965). Both President Jefferson Davis in the south, and President Abraham Lincoln in the north, said they were doing “God's will.” As Mr. Lincoln wisely points out, that is IMPOSSIBLE! When two opposing parties, who are warring against each other and claim to be doing God's will, obviously someone is WRONG! That is why Abraham Lincoln made that powerful statement!

Likewise, the Bible is abundantly clear that there is only one Gospel (Galatians 1:6-9). I hear misguided neo-evangelical pastors frequently tell the audience to become “Christ followers” to be saved. Folks, that is another gospel! The accursed false prophets in Matthew 7:21-23 followed Christ. They did “many wonderful works” in Jesus' name. They preached in Jesus' name. They cast out devils in Jesus' name. So also did Judas Iscariot have power to cast out devils (Matthew 11:1). Yet, Jesus denied knowing those false prophets in Matthew 7:21-23. They had never simply rested in what Christ did for them through Calvary's cross (John 6:40).

Tragically, 99% of what is being preached from nearly every pulpit today is NOT the Gospel. Unquestionable, Chuck Norris was misled by ungodly false teachers. Most of the sinners burning in the fires of Hell forever are there because they were lied to by a wicked preacher. Jesus didn't exhort us to follow the pastor. No, Christ said to SEARCH THE SCRIPTURES! John 5:39, “Search the scriptures; for in them ye think ye have eternal life: and they are they which testify of me.”

Hellbound Mormons also believe in taking Jesus as their “Lord and Savior.” The hellbound heathen world does not see a distinction between biblical Christianity (being born again) and the plethora of pseudo-Christian false religions. My point dear reader is that Satan is very subtle, sneaky and crafty and has filled the world with distortions, embellishments and perversions of the Gospel to blind men, “lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them” (2nd Corinthians 4:4b).

Why Do Some People Believe But Others Don't?

Acts 28:24, “And some believed the things which were spoken, and some believed not.”

I've often wondered why different people adhere to different beliefs and even cults. Why are there 8 million JW's, 16 million Mormons and 21 million SDA's? That is interesting to me. Why is it that one preacher reads the Bible and sees Lordship Salvation, but another sees free grace?

I cannot answer these questions, but I am reminded of Jesus' words in 𝗠𝗮𝘁𝘁𝗵𝗲𝘄 𝟱:𝟴, “𝗕𝗹𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗲𝗱 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗽𝘂𝗿𝗲 𝗶𝗻 𝗵𝗲𝗮𝗿𝘁: 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝘆 𝘀𝗵𝗮𝗹𝗹 𝘀𝗲𝗲 𝗚𝗼𝗱.” I humbly believe that anyone who is pure of heart, meaning that they sincerely desire to find the truth, will end up at Jesus' feet, for He is the truth (John 14:6). They will end up at the inspired King James Bible. They will end up where they belong. John Bunyan understood this truth very well, as illustrated in his book Pilgrim's Progress. There are many detours, pits and traps along life's way. The inspired Word of God is the light (truth) that will show men the way.

Social media is full of false teachers. They are proud, arrogant and unlearned in the Scriptures. Dan Corner is one of them, who teaches that you need works to get to Heaven. He denies eternal security. It is so sad. THINGS I LEARNED FROM DR. JOHN R. RICE

“He that goeth forth and weepeth, bearing precious seed, shall doubtless come again with rejoicing, bringing his sheaves with him” (Psalm 126:6).
When I was a teenager I read the life story of James Hudson Taylor, and I felt that God was calling me to become a missionary to the Chinese. I joined the First Chinese Baptist Church of Los Angeles. That fall I went to Biola College (now University). I was finally saved there when I heard Dr. Charles J. Woodbridge preach from the third chapter of II Peter. I failed my classes there, except for the class on soul winning. I got a job and worked in the Chinese church on Friday and Saturday nights, and all day Sunday. About that time I read the Journal of John Wesley, and learned what a revival was. I was praying all the time for revival to come to the Chinese church. I started going to college at night, while working forty hours a week in the daytime, and working all weekend at the Chinese church. I graduated from Cal State L.A. in the spring of 1970. A few months earlier revival began to sweep through the Chinese church. Hundreds came into the church and were converted. From 1969 to about 1973 the church was in the midst of a mighty series of revivals, led by the pastor, Dr. Timothy Lin.

In the Fall of 1970 I went to Golden Gate Baptist Theological Seminary near San Francisco. During the second year at Golden Gate I started a church there with the help of two friends from the seminary. All three of us were grieved over the attacks on the Bible at the school, but I said little about it for two years. During my third and final year at seminary I was elected the editor of the school’s student paper. It was then that I began to defend the Bible, both in the paper and in class. I was told by the president of the seminary that I was getting a bad reputation that would keep me from being hired by a Southern Baptist church. After a great struggle I decided that didn’t really matter and went ahead defending the Bible. The professors spoke strongly against the Scofield Study Bible, and against Dr. J. Frank Norris and Dr. John R. Rice. I figured that the Scofield Bible must be good or they wouldn’t criticize it so much, so I bought one and have preached from it ever since. But I thought that Dr. Norris and Dr. Rice were weird. I never read anything by either of them. I judged them without really knowing anything about them.

After I graduated I continued to vigorously expose the liberalism at the seminary. I sent mailings and videos exposing the attacks on the Bible at the seminary to the chairman of the deacons of all the Southern Baptist churches in California. One of the liberal professors had to resign, and one of the compromising presidents had to resign in the middle of a semester, as a direct result. Our church sent $600 each month to Dr. Bill Powell to help him mail copies of his Southern Baptist Journal, which exposed theological liberalism, to all the Southern Baptist churches in America. My wife and I went each year to the Southern Baptist Convention to pass out the Journal. People screamed at us, and threatened us. At the last convention my wife was over six months pregnant. They spit in her face and threw things at her, even though she was great with child. When we got back to our room she said, "Robert, how could those people be Christians?” I bowed my head in shame.

As I had been warned, I was “blackballed” by the seminary. They put out letters and mailings against me, and my Southern Baptist friends of a lifetime turned against me. I was deeply discouraged and heartbroken. It was in the midst of this time of deep depression that a friend gave me a copy of Dr. Robert L. Sumner’s biography of Dr. John R. Rice, titled Man Sent from God. I sat down to read a few pages of it one night, but I couldn’t put it down. I read all night long, finishing it about 9:00 in the morning. I was struck by the similarity of Dr. Rice’s experiences with the liberal Southern Baptists and mine. Within a few months I purchased nearly all of Dr. Rice’s many books, and eagerly read them all. John R. Rice became one of my guides and mentors, along with my pastor of 23 years, Dr. Timothy Lin.

In the fall of 1980 I went to Murfreesboro, Tennessee, to Dr. Rice’s office, and videotaped an interview with him. He passed away a few weeks later, but I have continued to read his many books and sermons on an almost weekly basis. I have learned many useful and helpful things from Dr. Rice, and I am going to share a few of them with you tonight.

At the beginning of the sermon I read Dr. Rice’s life verse,
“He that goeth forth and weepeth, bearing precious seed, shall doubtless come again with rejoicing, bringing his sheaves with him” (Psalm 126:6).
That was the theme of the life and ministry of Dr. John R. Rice. He was a great scholar and Bible student, but he never lost sight of his main calling as an evangelist, soul winner, and advocate of Heaven-sent revival. Here, then, are four of the things I learned from him. I didn't agree with him on storehouse tithing, the signs of Christ's coming, and some other matters, but he deeply influenced me on these four points.

I. First, I learned a lot about preaching from Dr. Rice.

When I first started preaching in the 1950s I consciously copied the evangelistic style and sermon construction of Billy Graham. He was a great preacher back then. My friend Moishe Rosen, of Jews for Jesus, said his preaching was "electrifying" in those days. But later I was told to preach so-called “expository” sermons. I struggled trying to do that for several years. But I felt constrained and held back by trying to preach from convoluted, intricate outlines on many verses of Scripture, with points, subpoints, and sub, subpoints. I felt strangled and enslaved, held in bondage and restrained, by what I was taught about so-called “expository” preaching. Then I read what Dr. Rice said on this subject. Dr. Rice said,

No sermon that Jesus preached...did He ever preach what is now called an expository sermon. And so with the sermons in the book of Acts by Peter, by Stephen and by Paul – none were expository sermons. In every case a preacher stood up to preach to get a certain result, and he preached toward that result. So ought preachers today preach toward a certain end, not simply to expound the Bible itself for its own sake (John R. Rice, D.D., Why Our Churches Do Not Win Souls, Sword of the Lord, 1966, pp. 74, 75)

I learned from Dr. Rice that so-called “expository” preaching did not come from our Baptist or Protestant forefathers, who all preached from one or two verses of Scripture. Dr. Rice said the modern “expository” sermon came from the Plymouth Brethren and was popularized by Dr. Harry Ironside, a Plymouth Brethren preacher. Dr. Rice said that Wesley, Whitefield, Spurgeon, and Dr. Torrey preached, “Bold, uncompromising, controversial [sermons] that condemned sin.” He said we need “preaching that condemns sin, that fights heresy, that shows the way out of trouble, that warns people of the wrath of God” (ibid., pp. 77, 78). Dr. Rice said,

Whence came this horrible breakdown in standards in America? Why is sex everywhere pressed on people, and movies and magazines are more lewd, and women less virtuous, and men more profane than before? Because America, with its millions of church members, has relatively few strong...preachers. There are not many preachers who preach on sin, on the coming judgment, on the awful Hell for Christ-rejecting sinners...The pulpit has failed the churches, and the churches have failed America (John R. Rice, D.D., Bible Doctrines to Live By, Sword of the Lord, 1968, p. 311)

The Bible says,

“Cry aloud, spare not, lift up thy voice like a trumpet, and shew my people their transgression, and the house of Jacob their sins” (Isaiah 58:1).

Dr. Rice said,

The first aim of every preacher called of God should be to win souls. A minister may say, as an alibi, “I am called to be a teaching pastor. My ministry is to the church. I must feed the flock of God.” But that, I insist, is an alibi for outright disobedience to the plain command of God. The Great Commission is still binding on preachers. The Gospel is to be preached to every creature...Charles Spurgeon was a pastor all his days and never called himself an evangelist. Yet multiplied thousands were saved under his ministry, and [Spurgeon’s church] was called a “soul trap.” The preaching in the church services ought to be strongly evangelistic, as well as in other places (John R. Rice, D.D., Why Our Churches Do Not Win Souls, ibid., pp. 67-69)

I agree with Dr. Rice on those points of preaching. He has encouraged me to follow the old-fashioned, soul-stirring method of presenting the Gospel. And Dr. Rice believed that the Gospel should be preached in every service, telling lost sinners that Jesus loves them, and that He will save them. Dr. Rice said,

Oh, what a fountain of mercy is flowing,
Down from the crucified Saviour of men.
Precious the blood that He shed to redeem us,
Grace and forgiveness for all of our sin.
(“Oh, What a Fountain!” by John R. Rice, 1965).

He loves so long, He loves so well,
He loves you more than tongue can tell;
He loves so long, He loves so well,
He died to save your soul from Hell.
(“He Loves You Still” by John R. Rice, 1960).

II. Second, I learned a lot about defending the faith from Dr. Rice.

The Bible says, “Ye should earnestly contend for the faith” (Jude 3). Dr. Rice strongly contended for the faith throughout his ministry. Dr. Rice said,

The pastor who does not expect to win many souls can preach nice little sermons on brotherly love. But the man who expects to arouse the conscience, stir the emotions and bring the will to a holy repentance must preach on great truths of the Bible. The great themes of the depravity of the human heart, the atoning death of Christ, the need of the new birth, salvation by grace through faith, a literal Heaven and a literal Hell are all evangelistic themes. And they necessarily involve the deity of Christ, the virgin birth, the bodily resurrection, and they are the fundamentals of the Christian faith.

It is no accident that the great soul winners have been defenders of the faith. Spurgeon carried on a noble campaign against “the Downgrade Movement,” now called modernism, and left the Baptist Union of Great Britain and Ireland at a cost of great reproach, and led that great church out, because of sin. And Spurgeon preached wonderfully, upholding the inspiration and authority of the Bible, the deity of Christ and other fundamentals of the faith (Dr. John R. Rice., 'Why Our Churches Do Not Win Souls,' ibid., pp. 71, 72)

Dr. Rice said,

As long as there is doubt in the mind of the preacher or in the minds of the hearers as to the absolute authority of the Bible as the infallible Word of God, his message is weakened, the impact on the community is watered down, the reason for soul winning is diminished (ibid., p. 73).

III. Third, I learned a lot from Dr. Rice on the subject of revival.

The Bible gives us a prayer for revival when it says,

“Wilt thou not revive us again: that thy people may rejoice in thee?” (Psalm 85:6).

Dr. Rice believed in supernatural, God-sent revivals. He said,

“Let it be settled once for all that revivals are divine manifestations. A revival is a miracle of God. It is not natural, but supernatural. It is not ordinary, but extraordinary. It is not human, but divine. Only God can give a revival” (John R. Rice, D.D., The Soul Winner’s Fire, Sword of the Lord, 1969, p. 79)

In his book, We Can Have Revival Now (Sword of the Lord, 1950), Dr. Rice said,

“The greatest revivals the world is ever to see are yet future. Greater revivals are to come than the world has ever experienced. That is plainly taught in the Word of God, and what a comfort it ought to be to our hearts! When we find that God has plainly promised greater revivals than any the world has yet had, that will certainly prove that the day of revivals is not passed” (p. 29)

Dr. Rice said that in 1950. The Communists were driving all the foreign missionaries out of China when he said that. Over 25 years of torture and imprisonment lay ahead for the Christians in China when he said that. But since 1980, the year Dr. Rice died, one of the greatest revivals the world has ever seen has exploded in the People’s Republic of China! Today it is estimated that there are over 120 million Christians in China. More people are now in church on Sunday morning in China than in America, Canada and the United Kingdom combined! Dr. C. L. Cagan estimates that there are over 700 conversions to Christ in China every hour, night and day, twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week! Think of it – 700 conversions every hour! Dr. Rice was completely right when he said in 1950, “The greatest revivals the world is ever to see are yet future” (ibid., p. 29).

I myself have been an eye-witness to three “supernatural,” God-sent revivals. At the First Chinese Baptist Church of Los Angeles, between 1969 and 1973, I saw the miraculous power of God draw over 2,000 people into our small church of about 125 people, making it one of the largest Southern Baptist churches in California. I saw services that went on all day Sunday, with tears of repentance and miracle conversions. I myself preached in one of those services where 46 young people were converted, and that was just one of the services that went on night after night! I checked recently and found that nearly every young Chinese person that was saved that night is still in that church forty years later! When my wife and I went there in May, for the 60th anniversary of the church, one Chinese young person after the other came to tell me they were saved during times when I preached in that great revival!

In Marin County, north of San Francisco, in a church I started there in 1972, we saw about 600 Hippies get saved in a few months, stopping their sinful life-style and drugs, and becoming solid Christians. This was the second revival that I saw with my own eyes.

In 1992, my wife and our boys and I attended a conference on Fundamentalism at Dr. Rod Bell’s church in Virginia Beach, Virginia. At the very end of the conference, on the last Sunday night, I was scheduled to preach. A member of the church told me, “Whatever you do, don’t preach an evangelistic sermon. Everyone in the church is already saved.” That made me very nervous because God had laid on my heart to preach a simple evangelistic sermon. Great and famous men of God would be in the congregation. What would they think if no one came forward? I was sweating. I asked my wife to take our boys out of the motel room for a few hours that Sunday afternoon. I fasted and prayed and called on God all afternoon. I was still praying and sweating when we got to the church. They sang and the pastor introduced me. Suddenly I felt the anointing of the Holy Spirit flash through me. I preached that simple sermon with great ease. Three grown men came forward.

One of them was the associate pastor, the pastor’s own son! He came forward to be saved with tears streaming down his cheeks! Then the Holy Spirit came down like a cloud. An old man who had been in the church for years crawled on his hands and knees down the aisle screaming, “I’m lost! I’m lost!” A quartet of young girls went to the platform to perform, but they couldn’t sing. Tears were streaming from their eyes as they called on Jesus to save them. The service went on until midnight. Seventy-five people were hopefully converted that night in a church where they thought “Everyone is already saved.” Ian Paisley’s son said to my wife, “I’ve never seen anything like it.” Then the revival really broke out. I flew back from Los Angeles to speak for that pastor again a few days later. In the next three months over 500 people were hopefully saved and baptized in that church!

These are eyewitness accounts of what I have seen God do in three revivals – which Dr. Rice called, “a miracle of God.” I know you can’t “work up” a revival by human means. But I also know Dr. Rice was right when he said, “We can have revival now.” We are praying for God to send a revival to this church in our times of fasting and prayer. One of Dr. Rice’s songs says,

Today we reap, or miss our golden harvest!
Today is given us lost souls to win.
O then to save some dear ones from the burning,
Today we’ll go to bring some sinner in.
(“So Little Time” by Dr. John R. Rice).

I wish I could take time to talk about Dr. Rice’s belief in the need for the preacher and his people to be filled with the Holy Spirit. I wish I could take time to speak about Dr. Rice’s belief that a Christian should be a fundamentalist but, as he said, “not a nut.” I agree with Dr. Rice that we should not defend the false idea that the King James Bible is itself given by inspiration, and corrects the Hebrew and Greek from which it was translated. I wish I could take time to tell you what Dr. Rice said about making the local church a place of joy and great happiness. I wish I had time to tell you why Dr. Rice said, “I love Christmas.” And I wish I had time to talk about his great book on “The Home, Courtship, Marriage and Children.” I agree with Dr. Rice on those great Bible themes! How I wish that pastors everywhere would go back and read what Dr. Rice wrote on those subjects. But I will end with one final point.

IV. Fourth, I learned a lot from Dr. Rice on the subject of prayer and fasting.

God said through the prophet Isaiah,
“Is not this the fast that I have chosen? to loose the bands of wickedness, to undo the heavy burdens, and to let the oppressed go free, and that ye break every yoke?” (Isaiah 58:6).
In his great book, Prayer: Asking and Receiving, Dr. Rice said,

I know that real fasting and prayer and humiliation of mind as we wait on God will get the blessing God wants to give us! Have you tried fasting and praying and waiting on God until the victory came?...Dear child of God, do you feel led to try it? Then fast and pray until God meets you in blessing (John R. Rice, D.D., Prayer: Asking and Receiving, Sword of the Lord, 1970 edition, pp. 230, 231)

We will be fasting and praying as a church next Saturday. If you have medical problems, please ask your doctor before you fast with us. Those who are very old or sick may wish to join us in a partial fast by drinking only tomato juice, or some other juices or soups, during our fast day next Saturday. Be sure to drink plenty of water all day. And be sure to take special time to pray during the day that God will bring in many new people to our church this Fall. Pray by name, if possible, for new people that have come in the past few weeks, and for others we will bring in next weekend, and in the weeks to come. Pray that they will be stay in our church and be saved. And remember the life verse of Dr. John R. Rice,
“He that goeth forth and weepeth, bearing precious seed, shall doubtless come again with rejoicing, bringing his sheaves with him” (Psalm 126:6).

Back When People Bought Tickets To Attend Church

Luke 14:21-23, “So that servant came, and shewed his lord these things. Then the master of the house being angry said to his servant, Go out quickly into the streets and lanes of the city, and bring in hither the poor, and the maimed, and the halt, and the blind. And the servant said, Lord, it is done as thou hast commanded, and yet there is room. And the lord said unto the servant, Go out into the highways and hedges, and compel them to come in, that my house may be filled.”

Dwight Lyman Moody (1837-1899) was known for his innovative methods of attracting children (e.g., free pony rides and candy) and adults to his Sunday school and church services, often using engaging activities and personal outreach.

Pastor Moody purchased seats in churches so that poor children could attend, as seats were sold like concert tickets at that time. Wow, can you imagine that? It's hard to just get people to come to church nowadays, but back then churches sold tickets! It is quite obvious how the television has woefully diminished church attendance. I wish the television has never been invented. Our world was much better off when life was simple and mundane, so that nearly everyone looked forward to going to church on Sundays. Tragically, the entertainment industry has led America to apostasy!

By purchasing church seat tickets, Pastor Moody aimed to include those who otherwise could not afford to go to church. What a faithful servant of our great Savior!

In 1900, church attendance in the United States was significant, with about 36% of the population attending services regularly.

In 2026, church attendance in the U.S. has stabilized after years of decline, with about 20% of adults attending weekly and around 41% attending at least once a month. SOURCE

Americans are leaving the churches by the droves! I think it was beautiful back when so many people in the United States wanted to attend church that they had to sell tickets.

God deliver us from today's shameful neo-evangelical churches, and corrupt neo-evangelical Bible colleges like Faith Baptist Bible College and Theological Seminary, Moody Bible Institute, Pensacola Christian College, Bob Jones University and Southern Theological Baptist Seminary, to name but just a few cesspools of spiritual sewage, rot and iniquity. Sadly, 99% of clergy today are only in the ministry for the INCOME, not the OUTCOME. I started my Jesus-is-Savior.com website ministry 24 years ago in April of 2002 for the OUTCOME, there has never been (nor ever will be) any INCOME. The LORD deserves our very best.

That all being said, I cannot blame people for not wanting to go to dead churches anymore. You'd be much better off just staying home and listening to fundamentalist Bible preaching on the internet, than to attend a rotten neo-evangelical cult like Family Baptist Church in Pensacola that preaches Satan's lies of Lordship Salvation [i.e., mixing service (works) with salvation (grace)], and Wrong Repentance (i.e., repenting of your sinful behavior) to be saved. Tragically, most Baptist pastors today are woefully unlearned concerning the inspired Holy Bible, corrupted clowns who arrogantly refuse to repent of their perverse thinking, fools.

One of the biggest mistakes you'll ever make is to trust and rely upon your pastor to keep you spiritual. If you're not careful, he'll lead you away from God and the truth, and ultimately take you to Hell with himself forever. RIGHT DOCTRINE MATTERS!!!

What About Pastor Steven Anderson?

John 15:12, “This is my commandment, That ye love one another, as I have loved you.”

I love and respect Pastor Anderson tremendously. We don't agree on everything, just like you and I dear reader won't agree on everything. That is human. Brother Anderson has a right to believe and preach what he believes God wants him to say, and I respect that.

In 2025, the Faithful Word Baptist Church in Tempe, Arizona, led 10,121 souls to Jesus Christ. Pastor Anderson personally led 182 people to Christ. I thank God for Brother Anderson and his soulwinning ministry. We are laborers together with God (1st Corinthians 3:7-9). Gotta love faithful soulwinners!

Pastor Anderson has stepped on my toes at times, and I his, and that is okay. We're both mature enough in the Lord to understand that no two fundamentalist Bible preachers agree on everything. Dr. Jack Hyles used to wisely say that there are more opinions per square foot at Hyles-Anderson College probably more than anywhere else in the world. That being said, we do agree on the two big "deal breakers" (as Pastor Anderson rightly calls them, which is: 1) The inspiration of the King James Bible; and 2) A free grace plan of salvation (aka, "easy believism"). All other doctrines are minor issues.

I agree with Pastor Anderson that those preachers (e.g., Peter S. Ruckman, William P. Grady, David A. Hoffman and Robert Breaker) who teach multiple plans of salvation are damnable heretics! Pastor Hoffman in his 'The Common Man's Reference Bible' for 1st Corinthians 15:1-4 literally teaches that there are SEVEN plans of salvation. That's crazy!

I also agree with Brother Anderson that most believers who ascribe to a pre-Trib Rapture haven't done their homework, they are merely following what their pastor told them. And likewise, the same problem holds true of the New IFB as well. Sadly, 95% of churchgoers merely believe what they hear and go along with whatever their leader says, which is why over 90% of all Baptist churches today have been woefully corrupted with the deadly false teachings of Misunderstood Repentance (i.e., turn from your sinning to be saved) and Lordship Salvation (i.e., mixing works with grace; combining service with salvation). These are both damnable false teachings, doctrines of devils.

As Bible preachers we are continually challenging our followers to do their own Bible study and homework, so they can KNOW for themselves why they believe what they believe. I can respect someone who ascribes to a pre-Wrath Rapture position, just so long as they can take an inspired Holy Bible and show me why they believe as they do, even though I am strongly pre-Trib in my faith.

I also fully agree with Pastor Anderson that Dispensational teaching is heresy (all of the nuts I mentioned earlier in the Ruckman camp are dispensationalist wackos). Simple Scripture passages such as Acts 10:43, Romans 3:19-23, 4:4-7 and Galatians 1:6-9 prove that NO ONE has ever been saved by works, which would have made salvation by debt that God owed (Romans 4:4); instead of by grace alone through faith alone. I detest manmade theology and manmade dispensationalism, which just confuse the Bible study rather than edify.

Pastor Jack Hyles exposes Dr. Peter Ruckman's heresy on multiple plans of salvation...

“And I'm sick up to there, with people talking about three or four plans of salvation. Now you hear me and hear me well. And if you don't believe this, and you teach in our schools, get out! John the Baptist preached the same Gospel that Paul preached. And people will get saved in the Millennium the same way they get saved tonight. Never has been but one plan of salvation. Never will be but one plan of salvation. Why don't you decide to put up all those books by a bunch of pinkos and read the Bible. And I'll fight you to the finish over that! I'll close the doors of Hyles-Anderson College before we'll preach that kind of garbage. We'll padlock the doors! I'm sick of it! I hate it! And beside that, don't like it. That college wasn't put out there to preach a bunch of hyper-dispensationalism!” —Pastor Jack Hyles, “He Purposed In His Heart"

Here's a shocking heretical excerpt from Ruckman's sermon titled, "Repentance," in which you can hear him listing all the sins you must forsake to be saved. What an ignorant unlearned fool! Tragically, I am fully convinced that Peter Ruckman is burning in Hell forever.

Right doctrine matters!

I heard Pastor Anderson today in a sermon exposing "Hypostatic Union" and "Divine Simplicity," two complicated theological rabbit trails that lead nowhere—blatant hogwash, tomfoolery, balderdash, poppycock and ineffable nonsense. Satan's Attack Against The Family In America

Psalms 1:1-2, “Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful. But his delight is in the law of the LORD; and in his law doth he meditate day and night.”

According to data from Domestic Shelters, well over one hundred million U.S. women go to shelters annually in the United States for assistance. The big problem is that in these carnal facilities women do not receive biblical counsel; but rather, they are often encouraged to divorce their husbands. Worse, many shelters work closely with scumbag attorneys to provide free pro bono divorce representation for women. Hell is full of such human trash! Matthew 19:6, “Wherefore they are no more twain, but one flesh. What therefore God hath joined together, let not man put asunder.” God hates divorce! Jeremiah 3:20, “Surely as a wife treacherously departeth from her husband, so have ye dealt treacherously with me, O house of Israel, saith the LORD.”

I absolutely hate women's shelters. I hate them because they all too often provide an unfair escape for lazy, angry, mentally unstable, rebellious and irresponsible married women. A husband has every God-given right to verbally correct his wife when she fails to pull her weight in the marriage. I don't like the idea of a husband being a “boss,” but effectively that is what he is to her. Everyone has a higher authority to answer to! No one can escape accountability in life. What is a poor fella to do who has a lazy, dishonest and irresponsible wife?

What saith the inspired Scripture?

Proverbs 31:27-31, “She looketh well to the ways of her household, and eateth not the bread of idleness. Her children arise up, and call her blessed; her husband also, and he praiseth her. Many daughters have done virtuously, but thou excellest them all. Favour is deceitful, and beauty is vain: but a woman that feareth the LORD, she shall be praised. Give her of the fruit of her hands; and let her own works praise her in the gates.”

How about the husband who finds rotting food regularly in the refrigerator? I'm talking black moldy hotdogs months old, and rotten slimy vegetables with white mold on them. LAZY!

Unlike the godly classy woman in Proverbs 31 whose husband praises her, this lazy women's husband is discouraged, frustrated and sad knowing that his wife doesn't care. She's in her own little world. Her priorities are all backwards and wrong. He does what he can to help her, but she is too much to handle, one mess after another. Can you imagine living with someone like that? Many marriages have ended because of these so-called “irreconcilable differences.”

I guarantee you 100% of the time that when such a dysfunctional problematic wife meets with a psychiatrist, the doctor will NEVER tell her the truth that she is lazy, undisciplined and woefully lacks good character. Instead, the doctor ALWAYS prescribes psychotropic drugs!

When I go to any store, as a habit I always return my shopping cart to the corral where I found it. And I always grab any loose cart in the parking lot that someone else abandoned, and I return it to the store since I am going that way anyway. I do this simply because I care. That is a part of my Christian faith, thinking about OTHERS! To God be the glory (John 15:5).

Why is it that some people care about little things, the details; while others couldn't care less? Pastor Jack Hyles (1926-2001) is my favorite fundamentalist bible preacher, who made thousands of life-changing statements (truths) in his fiery sermons over 55 years of being a faithful pastor. For example: Dr. Hyles said, “The most important job is the one that doesn't get done.” That is profound and I use it all the time.

Dear reader, if you don't care I cannot help you. Without desire nothing else matters. If this is you, pray and ask God to give you a concerned heart. My best advice to someone who doesn't care is to at least start pretending that you care, and in time it will happen. What saith the Scripture? Luke 12:34, “For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also.” If you invest your time, money, resources and prayers into something or someone, in time your heart will follow your investment (i.e., your treasure). I have spent the past 24 years since 2002 working diligently day and night on my website ministry for Jesus Christ. It has become a passion for me, what some might even call an “obsession.” I enjoy and love the work that I do. Even better, it is helping people prepare for eternity and I'm laying up treasures in Heaven. I give God alone all the praise, credit and glory for the results of my humble ministry labors (John 15:1-5). God is faithful (1st Corinthians 1:9).

Dear reader, I am not against women's shelters. I understand that there are some truly abusive husbands. But I am against spoiled brat wives running to those shelters just to escape a caring husband who puts his foot down and expects his wife to do her job. That is not an abusive husband. In such cases it is the wife who is being abusive, by her laziness and disobedience. If you don't think that a wife should obey her husband, you are going against the Scripture. Ephesians 5:22, “Wives, submit yourselves unto your own husbands, as unto the Lord.”

Here is an excerpt from 'THE AGENDA' by Presbyterian Pastor Louis P. Sheldon (1934-2020), who was the founder and chairman of the Traditional Values Coalition...

Russian sociologist Pitirim Sorokin, who authored another classic work in this field, The American Sex Revolution, observed much the same thing. In his review of the breakdown of tradition that began in the late 1960s, Sorokin warned that America was in the process of committing "voluntary suicide" through unrestrained sexual indulgence. As individuals began engaging in premarital sex unrelated to marriage, Sorokin predicted with remarkable insight that the birth rate would decline and our nation would begin to be depopulated.

He also predicted the inevitable increase in divorce, desertion, and an epidemic of sexual promiscuity resulting in a rise in illegitimate births and abortions. As we now know, those predictions have all come true in the most heartbreaking ways, and society is paying a terrible price. Sorokin's exhaustive study of decadent cultures convinced him that a healthy society can only survive so long as strong families exist and sexual activities are restricted to marriage.

Centuries of solid evidence make the point only too well: sexual promiscuity and a loss of respect for the sanctity of marriage lead inevitably to cultural decline and eventual collapse.

Men reject spiritual and moral development as the leaders of families.
Men begin to neglect their families in search of material gain.
Men begin to engage in adulterous relationships or in homosexual sex.
Women begin to devalue the role of motherhood and homemaker.
Husbands and wives begin to compete with each other, and families disintegrate.
Selfish individualism fragments society into warring factions.
Men and women lose their faith in God and reject all authority over their lives.
It is not surprising that in such a culture moral anarchy reigns supreme. The loss of religious faith means that virtues such as trust, honor, and respect must fail, and the customs of chastity and self denial no longer restrain society's worst impulses. Then, once families begin to collapse, the entire society follows. The point is very simple. George Santayana said it long ago: “Those who will not learn from history are condemned to repeat it.”

There are no easy ways out in life! All decisions have potentially detrimental, negative, unpleasant, painful, regretful and dire consequences. I encourage you to live in the inspired King James Bible daily, and to listen to lots of fundamentalist Bible preaching. We all need hard Bible preaching to help us think and live right. This world is a mess today, because we are living in a generation that does not look up anymore. That is, they do not fear God. Psalms 36:1, “The transgression of the wicked saith within my heart, that there is no fear of God before his eyes.”

With all the Diversity, Equity and Inclusive (DEI) wickedness and insanity (aka, the LGBTQ perversion which has swept across America), public nudity wherever there is water, an epidemic nationwide of substance abuse, corporate covetousness and greed, and the abortion industry still going over one million murders per year strong in the United States, why should God bless America?

God Doesn't Have Love; God Is Love

On Trial Every Day

Some people continually put God on trial every day for the circumstances in their life.

Dear reader, just decide once and for all that God is good. Psalms 145:9, “The LORD is good to all: and his tender mercies are over all his works.”

Just decide once and for all time that God is faithful. 1st Corinthians 1:9, “God is faithful, by whom ye were called unto the fellowship of his Son Jesus Christ our Lord.”

Just decide once and for all that God is always right. Psalms 18:30, “As for God, his way is perfect: the word of the LORD is tried: he is a buckler to all those that trust in him.”

Just settle it once and for all that God is no respecter of persons. Acts 10:34, “Then Peter opened his mouth, and said, Of a truth I perceive that God is no respecter of persons.”

Just settle it once and for all that God is righteous and merciful. Psalms 116:5, “Gracious is the LORD, and righteous; yea, our God is merciful.” You get the idea.

The phrase “God is” appears 90 times in the Old Testament, and 59 times in the New Testament. Ladies and gentleman, we serve a wonderful, fair, loving and kind God.

Let it never be heard from your lips that you hate anyone, for if you do, it will just prove that you never really loved that individual at all. It will reveal your shallowness and immaturity as God's child. Let the heathen talk that way!

God does not have love; God is love. The LORD is the very embodiment of love, because He is LOVE! Why don't you get off the judge's bunch tonight. Why don't you stop putting everybody in your life on trial for the way that they treat you. ...

Matthew 7:1-3, “Judge not, that ye be not judged. For with what judgment ye judge, ye shall be judged: and with what measure ye mete, it shall be measured to you again. And why beholdest thou the mote that is in thy brother's eye, but considerest not the beam that is in thine own eye?”

If I am your friend, there is nothing that you can do to jeopardize that. When my wife cruelly divorced me in 2006, she said that she didn't love me anymore. That means she never did love me at all. Such hateful words never came out of my mouth toward my wife. Once you love somebody, it is for life, if it is true love. I am not talking about falling in love (aka, “puppy love”). I am talking about God's unconditional love for every living creature, the same love which nailed Christ to a cross 2,000 years ago for our sins.

I cringe when I hear preachers spewing hatred for sinners. The true test of a Christian's love is not whether you love Jesus, it is whether you love Judas. I decided a very long time ago that I am going to love every human being on earth, regardless of how good or rotten they become. I hate sin. The Bible commands every saint of God to hate evil, as the LORD hates evil (Psalms 97:10). You cannot be right with God if you don't hate evil. Evil is planned sin. Abortion is evil. Sneaking around on your husband is evil. Feminism is evil. Anarchy is evil.

Dear friend, we should never accept the sin with the sinner, nor reject the sinner with the sin. God sent His only begotten Son into the world to die on a criminal's cross for our sins (John 3:16). Let it never be said that God hates anybody, not even the vilest sinner. Truly, the LORD hates all sin, for which He chose to sacrifice His life in death on Calvary's cross, but God does not hate anyone. God hates sinners in the sense that they are defiant against His Word, but He doesn't hate the individual. I learned a very long time ago from Pastor Jack Hyles to view difficult people as being broken, not bad.

Dear reader, let us love one another. There is so much hatred in the world. I watched a few music documentaries over the past couple weeks. I love the music of the 1970's. I enjoy some of the song by the ban, Bread. I was surprised how much the band's members hated each other's guts with a passion. They'd perform without talking to each other, and then go to their separate hotels after the concert, full of pride and resentment. The same can be said of The Beatles, The Eagles, Megadeth, Boston, Hall & Oates and countless other bitter rivals who sued each other in court over money and control over their music. It is so sad.

John 15:12, “This is my commandment, That ye love one another, as I have loved you.”
