Back to School

2017-08-19T02:22:00.001-07:00

Back to School is big trend every August and September and all students and parents start to prepare for the upcoming School year. Almost every year kids want new backpacks and this is my version of it. I made it for women but it's suitable for kids too because of the adjustable straps. I'm planning of making few other patterns.

Preparing for Halloweeen

2017-08-18T01:35:00.000-07:00

Found this lovely skull fabric that reminds me of Muertas and couldn't resist making headbands for the upcoming Halloween. The bad news are that there are only 2 pcs in the shop, the fabric peace was very small so I can make only 2 people happy by having it. I have more in stock from the other patterns.

Colorful orders

2017-07-30T01:52:00.001-07:00

Somethimes when I lay down my orders, I stop for a second and stare at the lovely combinations that my clients make. That makes me happy to see that part of me is in the everyday life of someone :)

It's that time of the year again when I have to reduce my stock of headbands and make space for the new ones for the Autumn and Winter. So I'm running a sale till 24-th August with 15%off all accessories in my Etsy shop. Hope you'll enjoy it and stay for the new stuff comming.

Minimize waste

2016-09-14T12:30:00.003-07:00

I'm keeping the urge to minimize my waste and use all of the small scraps of fabric that I have for my shop. I found beautiful peony left over fabric in my stash and made some little drawstring pouches and a headband. I kepd 2 of them for myself for my bag and I keep little stuff for when I'm going shopping or travelling and the other 5 are for sale in my etsy store. It's some kind of satisfying to finish a fabric.

New Fabrics

2015-06-23T13:14:00.001-07:00

Just wanted to write a quick post of excitement because of the new fabrics that I purchased recently. They are going to become beautiful headbands after day or two and will be up in the Shop :)

New Beginning

2015-06-17T07:39:00.000-07:00

After a while I'm starting to write again. I'm finished my second year in the National Academy of Arts with Fashion Design Major and my lifestyle changed a lot. I still have an Etsy shop and it's going great which makes me extremely happy that I can make what I love. Also I'm sewing for different clients by order here in my country. So I had the need of new workspace. My desk with my computer on it was not suitable anymore, I had to move my sewing machine every time when I want to sew and to put it away every time when I want to use my computer and that is really frustrating.
I made a project for my new desk which I wanted to fit my sewing machine and serger and to have room for my fabrics and cones of thread on top. So I ended up with this and I'm really happy that it's custom made.
Now I'm going to post more regularly so stay tuned :)
