Let us look into some of features:

At the home page you will get the prompt for joining the existing families or create your own family.
You can start your own family by spending 50 reward points.

If you create your own family you are able to:

create a unique TAG for the family
Recruit and select new members for your family.
Send personal messages to your family.
Promote members
Kick or demote members

Your challenge is to eliminate a rising New York boss in this outer borough. The Challenge Mission has three chapters with four jobs each. Complete each chapter to receive an exclusive reward.

Gain access to Staten Island by collecting Ferry Passes. Get them on the Challenge Mission page, the Marketplace, and by icing your opponents in fights.

X-MEN First Class Event FAQ

As the X-men movie is going to hit the theaters soon zynga has decided to promote that movie.
This event will give players an opportunity to collect loot through jobs and fighting in the quest of the mastery item.

This event is scheduled to begin on 5/26/11 and is scheduled to conclude mid-day on 06/02/11.
The two boost items are Magneto's Magnetism and Frost's Diamond Form and they can be found on the gifts page:

There are four levels of mastery that each player can reach. When you reach a new level the stats will increase until you reach the final level.

Bronze Mastery - 70/110
Silver Mastery - 75/120
Gold Mastery - 80/130
Ruby Mastery - 85/140

There is an X-Men inventory tab that is located on the missions bar. When you click this tab it will expand showing you the status of your items.

Mafia Wars is presenting the next installment of the new Boss Fight feature! You tumbled with Rafael, but now its time to take on Kassina. Do you have what it takes to bring this boss down? You're going to need those combos to bring her down, so you better get busy!

This feature will be released on 05/25/11. This feature will be released to a limited audience, and may not be available to all players initially. As with many of our releases, this feature will be slowly released to ensure stability within the game to ensure the optimum gaming experience for all of our players.

This event is scheduled to end on 05/31/11. As with many of the events and quests, there is a timer that indicates the conclusion of the event to keep you on track.

Ice Mastery Challenge

It's about to get cold with this new mastery challenge, but the number of ices you have could heat the game up! Each time that you ice another player your Ice Mastery bar will increase. When you have enough ices under your belt you will be rewarded the mastery item for your current level.

he event will conclude on 05/31/11. Please note that there will be a countdown clock that will help keep you on track. This countdown clock will be located on the Ice Mastery Challenge banner located on your home page, and will be listed as 'Time Remaining'.

A new event where you can increase the drop rate of certain specified item with help your friends.You need to drag and drop your friend into an item slot to increase the %age drop of that item.

Few things to remember:

Each item slot has 3 empty spaces
There is a time,just 0:15 sec to make your decision.
You can reassign your friends to other slot in the same time period.
so be fast and be alert.
categories of items will be easy,medium ,hard.

When Brazil was launched there were many new features that were introduced. One of the feature changes that you will find only in Brazil is in regards to the amount of Stamina that players is charged for Attacks and Power Attacks. With the release of Brazil, players now have different a stamina cost based upon their level within the game. Part of this update also includes an increase in the amount of the reward you can receive based upon your level within the game.

Here is your chance your build your Mafia and add some valuable loot to your arsenal by completing the Crack the Safe challenge. This challenge is easier than you might think. In order to to start this challenge you will need to make sure that all of the following are completed for your account.

 Make sure that you have the Mafia Wars game installed

 ‘Like’ Mafia Wars on Facebook
 Allow Mafia Wars to publish to your news stream

If you have met these three conditions then you are on your way cracking the safe. Now, to claim your reward you are going to need to invite Five friends to join your crew. Remember, you must adhere to the Facebook Statement of Rights and Responsibilities when adding friends.

Each time you have successfully added five friends you will receive a random drop of one of the five mastery items.

Maximum Collection limits for the Arachnophobia Loot event

10 Harmless Spiders can be looted each day from Job completion. Each Harmless Spider has a very rare chance of being aPoisonous Spider, which equals 5 Harmless Spiders. (The rare chance of collecting a Poisonous Spider can only be achieved once per day from completing Jobs.)

Cyber Warfare

Cyber Warfare is another event started in mafia wars where you need to beg from your friends for the items required.With each master gained item attack and defense will be increased.

Each of the Cyber Warfare Gifts may randomly drop while doing jobs and fights. These can be shared with friends through your feeds, and friends who click on your feed will give you Cyber Warfare gifts in return. Number of gifts required to master each level are:

• Bronze Star – 4 gifts

• Silver Star – 8 gifts

• Gold Star – 16 gifts

(Total required = 28 per Cyber Warfare gift types)

Players who achieve the Gold Mastery for each stage of the Cyber Warfare event will receive the Grand Prize of the Surveillance Van. The Grand Prize will only be awarded once the Gold Mastery for all three Cyber Warfare gifts has been collected. Players will have the opportunity to repeat the event after reaching the Gold Mastery for all three items. After you have achieved the Grand Prize the Cyber Warfare gift event will reset from the beginning so that you can earn duplicate mastery items. This event can be repeated 2 additional times to earn a maximum of 3 mastery reward items.
