Good Monday Morning! Hope y'all had a great weekend and are ready to start the new week with a challenge! Today the Squigglefly Challenge is to make & SEND a Thank You card!

I probably use thank you cards more than any other card, so many wonderful people to be thanked!!! This one has a bit of distressing if you look really close! lol

I love to use scripture on my cards, it's a wonderful way to encourage others! I went through my favorites over at SCS and found this card, in it's pretty blues and greens. I changed the scripture, the dp, ribbon, button and stamped image behind the wording. The card also had machine stitching, which I did not add, but I did pierce! lol I hope you're enjoying the hopping....

Creating a Masterboard!-Saturday Spotlight

Happy Saturday! Welcome to the 7th Saturday Spotlight with Hidden Potential challenge, can you believe we've been doing this for 7 weeks??? This week we challenge you to make your own designer paper, referred to as a Masterboard! I stamped colorful leaves on some kraft paper to make my masterboard, using a portion for my card and a tag!

It's a great way to 'mass produce' some cards/projects! Our sponsor this week is Digital Ink Co., all my digital images are from their store HERE!!

A Challenge & A Freebie at The Stamping Boutique

Happy, happy Friday!!! gosh, these weeks just fly by don't they?!!! I made a fun little card today! The Stamping Boutique posted their challenge the other day. It's all about SNOW and how you use it!! Then Tracey did an awesome thing and GAVE us this FREEbie to play with! How cool is that?? But wait there's more....
If you are not a member of the Stamping Boutique's group over on SNR Card Universe...you should be!!! She throws us FREEbies for all sorts of occasions...like reaching 100 members! Yay!!! Thank you Tracey, you're so generous!!!

Hi ya or should I say Hiiii-yaaaa! lol Have you been to Squigglefly digital stamps lately! They have a fabulous new program called NAB IT! Each day there will be a limited quantity of images for a super special low price - but once they're gone at that price, they're gone! There will be a new image every day.

This little guy called kick out of you was only 50 cents...how cool is that! My DPs are scraps, old scraps that I'm trying to use up!!! The 'quote' I thought was familiar to most, from the Karate Kid movie! Isn't this a fun card?!

A Sliding Card for the Kids

Happy Tuesday! It's Digital Tuesday Challenge day and Anjou is hostessing this week with a wonderful theme of Holiday Wishes! I made a fun little card for a child; the elf runs across the card!

I used a newer Squigglefly image called On the Run, drawn by artist Cheryl Alger! Isn't it wonderful?! So I figured if he's on the run....he should be able to 'run'!

I simply made two slits behind the top panel, slide the ribbon through, attached the top panel to the ribbon with foam dots and layered the whole card front onto a white cardstock base careful not to type in the middle where the ribbon ran! The child can then pull the ribbon back and forward watching the elf run! Sweet, huh?
The DP is K&co, and the coloring is Copics, there's a bit of glitter added for fun! This will be a fun little reminder for a child to make their list....though what child really needs reminded!!! lol

I hope you'll be able to play along with us this week at Digital Tuesday! We love to see all the different 'takes' on the themes!!!

I was inspirated by a few challenges but honestly the card took on a mind of it's own once the elf had the need to run...

Happy Wednesday...we're half way there! Today is release day at Doodle Palace and I'm just lovin' these newest images! Checkout this little lion, isn't he the sweetest?!

Coloring was done with Copics & Prismas. I used molasses Smooch, pearlized ink, on the mane to add depth and shimmer, I love, love, love this stuff!!!! The sentiment is from The Cutting Cafe-all occasion circle words-and I colored gold around it to appear as a second layer! I didn't have the right colored brads so I made my faux brads with a hole punch and shimmered them with some more Smooch!! Pretty clean & simple masculine birthday card!!

Doodle Palace will be releasing their new images later today, including this sweet Lion!

This was a real challenge for me until I found this fun DP from ATD all thru the year pack! I used this cute digi from Squigglefly called sledding Sara! I adorned her with some "Holly Soft"! (faux flower soft! tutorial HERE) The SU! cs colors are bordering blue & really rust! Copics & SU! markers were used to color. I can't believe I found this two tone ribbon to match! ...never seem to have the right ribbon! lol So there ya go blue and gray! Hope you play along!

Happy, happy Friday...are you enjoying your day? It's still rainy & dreary here in PA but I won't let that get me down...there are too many things to be grateful for, don't you agree?!

Hello happy stamping peoples!!! I was so excited to share this card with you! Isn't this doggie sweet? My very own son drew this and I'm thrilled he allowed me to use it!

(Inside: Congratulations on your RETIREMENT!)

He normally draws graphic novel style people and such. I've been asking him for something for a while now and he doodled this quick and said, "Here!" lol Appeasing his mother for a short time, 'til I beg again! lol
The papers are SU!'s DSP in not quite navy with a strip of mustard cs, the pooch (Sam) is colored with Prisma marker! I used SU's window punch for the two little accent pieces and added some vintage brads. The sentiment is from SU congratulations set. How's this for a masculine retirement card?

Hello Happy Bloggers! I love making autumn themed cards! This is an awesome digital image called Autumn Tweetings by Judi Maddigan over @ Angels Landing!

The cs is SU! really rust and the DP is K&co. It's colored with pencils & markers, the swirls are sizzix and the sentiment CG. Again, I went clean & simple (CAS)! Sorry, that seems to be my style right now!

This will be one of the cards I'll duplicate for my, "I'm thankful for you in my life!" mailing. For people who have touched my [family's] life this year! So many lovely people bless us throughout the year in little, easy to miss ways! I want them to know we didn't miss it, that we really do appreciate even the littlest favor or gift! I colored with Copics and matching SU! markers, the cs is kraft and tangerine, the DP is MME. The leaf punch is Creative Memories and I've added autumn colored glitter to the leaf pile! Sentiment is CG!

Gingerbread Anyone?

Look, I almost made a Christmas card! lol Can you see the fall trees in the background?? I'm very much enjoying this autumn season!! This sweet [yummy] little gingerbread couple is from the most recent release by The Doodle Palace! Such fun!

I have used SU! hunter green, real red and white! I didn't have a gingerbread Copic so I used my Prisma marker in sienna! A CAS card! I think I'll use this card as a holiday thank you, something to give to a lovely hostess along with a little gift when invited to a holiday party! Susie Sugar is starting a new monthly challenge blog called Susie's Sassy Challenge! I just love the idea of a sassy challenge, don't you?! And a monthly one at that...plenty of time to play along! Well, she's looking for a designer and I'm putting my name in the hat! I would love to work with this talented lady! She already has some creative ladies joining her Vikki and Tracy, so the inspiration will surely flow! I'm getting this card in under the wire, especially because of the time difference! But I only found out about the new challenge blog recently! Check out Sassy Designs for all the details!

Hello Happy Stampers!
I have had a delightful break from the computer! It was well needed, but I'm back with a sweet little card I whipped up in a few minutes! The digital image is Miss Bitty from Fred, She Said. This set comes with so much variety along with ready to print sheets, you'll want to check it out!

Saturday Spotlight with Hidden Potential #4

Welcome to our 4th Saturday Spotlight with Hidden Potential Challenge! This week our uber talented leader Vicki challenged us to make a treat holder/container! How fun is that! So I looked for something fun to make and found this little bag made from an envelope. I used a cream colored A2.

Isn't this a sweet little pumpkin, it was one of the FREEbie images from Robin @ Robin 's Artful Musings! Very generous....thank you Robin!!!! I just love pumpkins....they make me smile....even the ones without faces! lol This is a project anyone can make...no special supplies needed! The envelope bag is simply cut, scored and decorated! A Flowery Get Well

Hello & happy Thursday! We are having a gorgeous day here in PA today...sun is shining, temps are reaching towards the 60's and there is a lovely backdrop is beautifully colored trees!!!! We'll be headed outside this afternoon to 'clean up' the yard for winter! My laundry is hanging on the line in the sunshine...I love that! But before I head out, I have a card to show you!

This is an encouragement/get well card. I like to carry one with me for those times I have an opportunity to pray for someone I meet 'along the way'!
I've used these gorgeous Fred, She Said digital flowers to adorn a scripture verse...pretty clean & simple, but I think quite effective!

These flowers come in sheets with varying colors & sizes...for one low price! So if you are just starting to work with digis, you'll want to checkout all the print & cut sheets @ the Fred, She Said Store!!!

Penguins at The Palace!

Happy Wednesday! Today is Release day at Doodle Palace...yay! I was so excited when we rec'd the new images this week...they are all so adorable!!!! Here's the first one I have to show you...a sledding penguin!

I popped the front of the sled and the sentiment is CG. Here's a little tip on the layered sentiment. I used my circle punches but wanted a layer in between so I punched two smaller circles and used one as a 'mask', drew my black circle in marker, removed the mask and placed the sentiment circle! Easy peasy!!!
I wanted to use snow, so I tried making my own according to Holly Young of Hog Wild about Stamping! I was so pleased with the result!!!!! It's similar to polar white Flower Soft, but you easily make it yourself for pennies!!!! Checkout her tutorial HERE!
