Когато детето иска нещо сладичко можем да му предложим по-здравословен десерт като йогурт, сушени плодове, пресен плод, мляко. Шоколадовите награди формират погрешно възприемане на полезните храни от децата. Възнаграждавайки ги винаги с шоколад за всяка добра постъпка, ние всъщност им показваме, че могат да похапват от тези храни неограничено. Изкушенията в супермаркетите и рекламите по телевизията предразполагат децата към нездравословно хранене. Няма как да похапвате пред децата “лоши” въглехидрати и да им обяснявате, че трябва да консумират плодове.
