原本以为这两年的华人新年已经很难度过，但没想到这今年的会是以往年来的伤心。在这除夕夜我看着充满欢庆的迎新年电视节目而落下了需多眼泪；好怀念新年的气氛和家人聚在一起的温心。看来以后的华人新年也在也不会象过去的一样了。

THE WEDDING NIGHT

We held our wedding dinner the next day at Tung Lok's Noblehouse. Love the place alot and am thankful that we managed to use the place before they closed down a month ago. After attending countless wedding dinners, it still felt quite surreal that this is my own wedding dinner, hahaha. But anyway we had plenty of fun that night and here are some photos :)

We had two nights at a suite at MBS and everyone was getting dressed up there :)

Just received all the photos from my photographer, Samantha Tay - Lightedpixels Pixies and i am excited to share the photos though its been almost 4months! How i miss the fun and the heartfelt moments during the entire wedding. So here are some of the photos and will post the dinner entry another time!

21 In A Blink

21 IN A BLINK

On Monday, my 1st younger brother HJ turned 21! Both my sis and I couldn't really believe how time really flies! It felt like only yesterday we were all playing catching and staging performances for our parents on their birthdays. I still remember that I would be the show caller at just 9yo and would make them be the emcees (i gave them lines to speak), and we will take turns to come out to sing a song, dance or play the recorder.. we even had spot light (i was also the lighting crew) and "microphones" and also rehearse in the room before performing outside at the living room! I l just love to be behind the scene running all the stage movements.. haha!

Anyway, we had a mini bbq party for him on Sunday at my grandma's place and a another pizzahut brunch on the actual day for him :) I think my parents also felt the "time flies" moment too, its still very surreal for us to see him entering adulthood. But in any case it was a proud moment that the whole family felt together for my brother :)

Happy 21st HJ! We love you v much! ♥♥♥

BACK TO SCHOOL

Spent my 31st dec with my spiritual family - ET Leaders! We had a "Back to School" themed thanksgiving party at one of the apartments at Clarke Quay. It was quite a sight to see all of us (regardless of age) decked out in school uniforms and geeky spectacles, hahaha. So here are some photos!

W472: THE LAST OF 2011

Can't believe that a year just zoomed past us! Last year's thanksgiving felt like only yesterday! And anyway, last Friday we gathered for the last time in 2011 to give thanks to God and appreciate each and every one who has made this family a family :)

Love the effort that was put into the cards! So personalized!

DVD player broke down when we were to watch the thanksgiving video :(
But thank God we had two laptops that night!

We bid farewell to 6 of our dear mbrs who will be going over to the young adult group
They all receive a card & a personalized notebook as a memento, gonna miss them v much :(

And of course, the night is not complete without a fellowship song :)

L7 CHRISTMAS 2011

Met up with my secondary school friends for our annual Christmas dinner and gift exchange. Thankful for a decade of friendship and that we are still meeting up 4-5 times every year :) They are definitely people that I want to grow old with :)

We had our dinner at LENAS, an Italian-American restaurant under MOF. We were at the Tampines One outlet and there was quite a long queue (they do not take reservations). They serve western food like pizzas, pastas and many other main courses. Huge variety of food to choose from and the food was rather tasty plus it also comes in generous portion! Will definitely go back there again!

Every year, MJ makes us cute little cards! :)

Finally, after 2 years of iphone 3GS, I am now on board the iphone 4S! No more faulty home button and ugly iphone 3 casing. Hugs and kisses to my husband for the new phone :)

Every year the ET Zone Thanksgiving Video just gets better and better! I think we all can agree that Kimberly has such great talent! Besides putting together the video, what I find it amazing is that she's able to film the entire video in one location with so many different angles! Thumbs up to a great video!

Also, besides having a zone thanksgiving video, I have decided that this year we should do a cg thanksgiving video as well! Special thanks to Aaron :) This is our first thanksgiving video in these 3 years and we not only look back the year 2011 but we also see how we have come so far together as a family :) So here's our 1st one and I hope we can get to do one every year :)

Christmas marks our 4th anniversary together as a couple :) On this day, my heart is always full of thanksgiving toward God for Christmas and also for blessing me with such a wonderful man in my life. Spent the entire day together after church service and in the evening we caught the world renowned musical - Wicked!

Besides being a SUPER BIG fan of Harry Potter, I was also quite a fan of Utt when I was in Sec 3. Remembered spending my allowance buying all the magazines that featured him! So it was truly a starstruck moment when I found out that he was sitting just a row behind me during Saturday Christmas service :)

Last Friday, we had our annual Christmas lunch and gift exchange in office! Always welcome any sort of long lunches and activities in the midst of work. Currently everyone seemed to be on leave if not working from home and that makes the office really quiet. I guess even with Jan 2012, everyone will still be in their holiday mood because CNY is coming! So... Feb 2012 is a safe time to say "its officially back to work".

I was VERY surprised to see these beautiful flowers delivered to my office today!
And it came with a really heartfelt card that made me all teary :')

Its like a mini garden with three tin pots mounted onto a fence!

Day 19

Last day of our honeymoon! Decided to treat ourselves to a good hearty breakfast at the hotel! We went to the airport early to do all our tax refunds and then took an evening flight back to Singapore! Felt like we didn't complete our holiday in London as we were quite rushed for time, sooooo hopefully we will be back again! Hahaha!

Our very last full day of our honeymoon! We met up with our friend Dale who happened to also be touring Europe :) Really had so much fun exploring London, taking long walks, deciding where to eat and laughing at our own English..all in all I felt like I was home even though we were miles away from Singapore :)
