Things that I love

2013-09-24T21:11:00.002-06:00

So sometimes in blogging

you wonder

what the heck to talk about

I don't want to talk or post the same things all the time

thinking outside of the box can be hard

So I took a minute to think of all the things that I love or

that I've found along the way

Here are some things I love

The honest truth

2013-09-03T23:23:00.002-06:00

Sometimes being honest is the best way to be

especially when it comes to blogging.

I am human

I have moments I would rather not discuss but

I think its important that others see you in your rawest form

in order to relate.

so here it goes

just recently I experienced a job change

when I say job change I mean I was laid off

it was not a good fit anyways

Initially I was devastated

but after a few days and a few tears

I realized that I was given an opportunity to do BIGGER and better things

things I only really dreamed about

I figured now that I am putting it in writing

for all to see I best go and fetch what I deserve right!?

A few of you (you know who you are)

have been exceptionally supportive and for that I can't begin to express the gratitude I feel

Thank you for your kind words in messages and fb posts.

your support keeps me going

I have been given much

time to taken advantage of my talents

cross your fingers everyone

My sister and I present to you....

home tour

2013-08-13T17:00:00.000-06:00

per a request

I did a home tour on the rooms in our house

that i felt were actually considered "done"

I am still in the process of decorating our bedroom

because as most of you know

i never ever pay full price for anything including home decor

but unfortunatly

this also means that things take a lot longer to decorate

of course decorating is a process and

i always find myself itching for change

so without further adieu

welcome to mine and my mister's home...

we love cactus plants!

living room

i'm over magnets instead I use washi tape!

fresh flowers from my garden

all table piece decor second hand

this bed frame was from my great grandma's ranch. i love pieces with history and meaning

thanks for stopping by!

What is The paper doll?

2013-07-27T11:20:00.000-06:00

I'm sure many of you are asking yourselves

what the heck is the paper doll?

Let me answer that question simply

It is a second hand store that sells stylish, gently used (and new) clothing and accessories

at ridiculously inexpensive prices!

It's nothing like the second hand stores around here where you have to spend

hours looking through clothing to find a few great clothes

me and my team do that for you!

to see posts of new clothing available

or follow me on instagram at brooklynsrueyou

Happy shopping!
