Too much of it may turn out to be more disappointment; however, I need it to push myself harder, at least for the coming 3 weeks for I wanna get rid of the PAPERs I supposed to throw away long ago. Whatever the result will be, I deserve it given my own actions and capacity. What a chronic procrastinating me!

JJ in her 12-18 months

As she grows, I just can't resist to tell people how energetic, naughty, talkative and nasty she is. She likes playing with her cousin brothers, yet conflicts over the i-devices have become normal incidents in which she is usually the victim. She likes climbing up a nearly 2 meters high stool and other furniture at home, and she is skillful at this. Her temper is quite bad, I would say. She likes repeating after what we said, especially the last single words. She's managed to count "...pi, bei, buon, bramm" and recently some 2-syllable words. She likes dancing (one of her fav is the Gangnum Style) and humming as well. She likes feeding herself although it usually ends up with a big mess. She is quite good at potty training but not yet mastering it. She likes her bottles now but still can't let go of the habit of being nursed by Mak Mak before sleep. She has been to Sihanouk Ville, Kompot, Kompong Thom and Siem Reap and she behaved well, which I am thankful.

The loss

With an intended change (see my previous post), I am very likely to risk myself to lose of what I am supposed to have. However, before the expected loss there first came the unexpected one! The loss was so shocking that we could hardly bear it although she is unrelated. Being emotionally hurt is coupled with physical tiredness. The change itself has changed us to be harder working yet at least for what I see as a betterment. We will go through it, though.

Anyway, I am now awaiting the real change ahead.

It is just as Albert Einstein defined "insanity" as "doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results". Unless you wanna stay in the trap, why not a change? For better or worse, it is worth a try.

Lately its level is down to nearly zero. Several reasons flush back and forth, making it even worse for full concentration. Whatsoever, I still believe that it is not because of the aging. Lolz...

Sorry, I am not the kinda person who likes complaining in public domain. But, it is way too much to handle it, especially working with those who are supposed to do the job but do not care even a bit about it.

Maybe it is time to let go of it. How soon? That's the question!

Breastfeeding certificate

I got my intensive breastfeeding certificate yesterday, so there should be a celebration today. Let's party?!!

I'm grateful for all the encouragement and supports from JJ's papa, grandmas, grandpas, uncles, aunties, brothers and sisters. Without them, there is no way possible for me to do my mommy job with this great achievement. I can assure you that it is never easy to be a full-time breastfeeding mommy, but a healthy and active baby makes you feel proud and content. Those 4 kilos and bunches of hair I've lost within the past 3 months are nothing (err... a little concerned though... lolz).

You wouldn't know how hard it is unless you've done it yourself.

Slithering JJ

Mama just can't imagine how fast baby JJ has progressed. With a blink that day, she is now in her 5th month of age. It was a hard time for both pa and ma during her first 2 months when JJ kept screaming at midnight and sometimes till dawn. Things have become better when she learned to respect our adults' body clock [phew!!!]. A significant progress she made was during her 3rd month with her first ever roll-over by herself. In less than a month's time, she could raise her head up high and roll over from tummy to back and from back to tummy. On her tummy, she could turn to all directions to reach for her toys and mouth them. Now in her 5th month, she finally made it to slither toward objects far from her reach. Although she seems to gain little weight in the last 2 months, she is very active and energetic. She even bullied us with her strong scratching against our hands and throat.

Despite all these progresses, she keeps saying NO to bottle, giving a very hard time for her granny and caretaker. So, bottle-feeding is no longer a problem after all our efforts; we look forward to giving her solid foods in another 3 weeks.
