A new innovative shoe box packaging

2017-10-06T15:29:00.001+03:00

The first "all-inclusive" shoe pack design.

After two years of designing, researching and testing, Andreas Kioroglou, founder of the award winning design studio Matadog Design has developed the ultimate sustainability shoe packaging solution, which can be used as in the standard design or adopted to the specific shoe manufacturer marketing and logistics needs.
It is called all-inclusive because although it costs substantially less than traditional shoe boxes, it incorporates a number of innovative features.
If you are interested to gain an additional competitive advantage, think outside the traditional shoe box, think Viupax™.

Craving for the sun

There are times where a simple morning thought, is enough to change everything you take for granted.

The way you live your life, your work, the way you perceive things, your state of mind, in general.

We where lucky enough to witness a morning as such.To feel the sun's warm light shaping you and instantly an idea being born that very moment. That same moment, where sun dazzles you with its brightness. Since that morning our decision in making wooden eyewear was perfectly clear. So obvious, that since is the center of any activity, thought and philosophy of ours.

We started handling and shaping wood in various ways, learning new techniques and procedures. As we were training ourselves, wood started to train and educate us in its terms and ways.

We are thankful for every piece of knowledge we extracted from this process and proud of our creations. So, we place back the results of our passioned labour where we first envisioned them, in front of the sun.

Love it, great design, you can support it here

Matthias Heiderich rural photography

2012-11-29T18:39:00.001+02:00

Matthias Heiderich is a young self-taught photographer who has spent a year in Berlin taking pictures with his camera.

His style is heavily influenced by architecture, graphic design, color and the urban landscape. Lines, patterns, colors merge into abstract compositions, icy and minimalist in full color. The urban architecture is transformed, distant and perfect, surgically isolated from its context.

Gavin North | Wire Sculptures

2011-09-26T11:21:00.001+03:00

“By bending black wire into something of freestanding line drawings, I create sculptures that engage the viewer by involving them in their subtle changes. When the light in the room shifts, so does the mood of the piece. A breeze might softly move an arm. My wire sculptures tell stories of simple human moments: a woman adjusting her hair, a face gazing from behind tightly wrapped arms, a mother gently cradling her baby. The honest, unguarded moments are the ones that I find to be the most beautiful.”

Seek-Stimulation-From-Randomness

2011-07-07T17:44:00.001+03:00

Some of the most productive creative minds rely on a periodic self-administered dose of randomness to stay stimulated. Stimulation is not only necessary when developing new ideas, but is also critical when refining solutions to a particular problem. Every brain benefits from new angles that often escape your traditional point of view.
