Here's a really interesting photography idea from Ottawa's Stephen Harrison. He collected six garbage bags worth of trash along Poole Creek in Stittsville, sorted it out, and then took some photos: It's disconcerting to see how much garbage we've discarded, and yet it makes for a fascinating subject. I was driving down Slack Road in Nepean on the weekend and saw that the old schoolhouse is up for sale. Approx 2,000 square feet on a big lot, yours for only $950,000. (Here's the listing.) Photos of the big accident on highway 401 at 416

Here are some photos taken by Mark Sluban at the scene of a massive pile-up on the 401 eastbound near the 416. According to media reports, paramedics are on the scene treating several people with serious injuries. Paramedics say four tractor trailers and 20 cars were involved.
