The week of Chinese New Year 2012

It's already Cho 5 a.k.a the fifth day of Chinese New Year where soon I will be continuing my days at work place. Not really want to spend my time at the office. Feel so lifeless there. Anyway, I was in Ipoh yesterday visiting my relatives and getting my red packet that full of money. Guess what, this year they already upgrade the amount of cash! I'm so bad to really care for the $$$ but who cares, money matters.XD

I came across an article regarding the year of 2011,what's happening in Malaysia and of course, throughout the world as well. Chinese New Year is not only about visiting relatives and celebrate the new year, it is also indicate the new life, new feng shui, new aims and many more. This year, the year of dragon, some feng shui's master had given advices through the media telling that this year there are some good and bad things going to be happened in everyone life. Different age, different life...

Back to 2011, Malaysia biggest impact not only to Malaysian but to the world wide as well. It was on Friday, July 9 or the day of 709, where Bersih 2.0 began their gathering by noon to walk for "Walk of Democracy" was a follow-up to the 2007 Bersih rally to champion free and fair elections in the country.

Across the region, King Abdullah of Saudi Arabia announced that Saudi women now have the right to serve as members of the Shura councils which they are allowed to run as candidates and nominate candidates in the next municipal elections in 2015.

Referring to the mother nature, Japan tsunami was heartening. North-East coast of Japan was hit by a massive earthquake on March 11, resulting in a deadly 23 foot of tsunami in the country. 8.9 magnitude tremor, cause an explosion at the Fukushima Daiichi Nuclear Power Station.

Thailand floods, starting from late July and continuing for over two months, the floods has caused more than 500 deaths and affected more than 2.3 million people. Somehow, I do respect that Thai's as they really make day all the time. Even floods still causing difficulties for the people to go on with their daily life, they seems to have positive mind which they really take this opportunity to do things that they never did before. Dressed and posed like a mermaid, surfing in the city, fully utilize their recyclable items to create boat and many more. With the photos sharing around the social media such as facebook, I do respect them more!

Well, of course there are more things happening during 2011. I can't evaluate all. Why not i give out the titles and you do the research?

The 1st day of Chinese New Year

Chor 1 aka the very first day of Chinese New Year, my family and I will go to temple and pray of course for living healthy, prosperous year and many more ( just hard to list out since I can make a list of it LOL ). It is a tradition for us as a Chinese to give our respect and pray for our God at the very first day of Chinese New Year.

That's the reason why every time when I went to there are a lot of people in the temple. Sometimes, you can hear some people wishes. I know it is bad but then, by hearing their wishes, you can know what happen to them and how the world is going on. Why? Usually people will wish things that they can't settled. Simple as that.

When you go to the temple, you can see some nice design at the entrance or at the whole temple. Or you might attracted to the color, green, blue, yellow and red. Even in a small temple, these color just can't run from it. Just like this:

As you can see, only few colors, the whole temple can be colorful and attractive.I just boost the color, no more than that. I went to this place this morning. As usual, I also dunno where is it. Somewhere in Rasah, Negeri Sembilan. The location quite hidden. What I like about this photo, of course the clear sky. I just like it.

It's Chinese New Year !!

Finally, Chinese New Year just around the corner. This year got to be little different as I bring along my camera, laptop and of course, my colorful cloths! Just bought it yesterday. Well, last minute shopping. The year of dragon should be a great year for me. I hope so ....

This Chinese New Year, as usual, heading back to grandma house, go temple and pray, gamble and so on. But, I got a week holidays. My boss went back to Japan, and no one in the office, so she declare a week holiday. Why? This year, in Malaysia, official date to start work is on Wednesday which falls on the third day of Chinese New Year. Yeah, I know it's kinda sucks but what to do, our beloved country have too many holidays as right after Chinese New Year there gonna be Federal Day, then Valentine's Day etc.

Yup, holiday until my boss also scared. Keep asking us how many days do we need to take for this year. Just can't stop laughing when I saw the calender. Nothing much to say anyway, so wait for the next post =D

The Year of Water Dragon 2012

When I am ready for work this morning, my mind were totally blank and all of the sudden "Water Dragon" came across to my mind. As I told my friend last year that this year going to be "blue" year which I also do not know how the hell I know / get the word from. Clue around me maybe? or color that always appear before me was blue?

I asked my mother which she also involved in feng shui and she told me to beware of it. Why? She gave me the reasons and some example. When almost the year end of 2011, which also the "switching" positions between chinese zodiac, the water dragon came across some holy places ( which I don't really get what she said ) and it causes flood. Bangkok, Hatyai, Northern of Malaysia and so on.

She told me not to get near to water element and also fire element as both were totally opposite and always clash in some ways ( seems logic ). This year, I've been told not to swim at the oceans or get too near to it, get mad or argue or near to "fire element" ( too many things which also include emotions and physical contacts etc ).

The last advice from her, " Get steady with Earth and Sky " ( This, I totally understand )

Earth, for me simply means be steady, and cool as always in all categories such as work, friendship, holidays etc.

Sky, for me simply means get ready to enjoy my life and speed up my limits in all categories !

How to know? Figure out your strong element and what missing or less element in you. Then, figure out what type of zodiac element are you. As for mine, I was born in GOLD element and I'm Metal Horse. Using some logics, you can get what will happen throughout the year. By the time you understand and get it, nothing is impossible.

Believe me, there are a lot of people doing it.

With various type of performances from artists such as Mizz Nina, Dennis Lau, Beatboxer Shawn Lee, Pop Shuvit, Laser Man, Joe Flizzow, Resa Salleh, and of course, famous Djs in Malaysia - Jee Hoe, Xu and Davern. Wonderful Year 2011 !

It has been a wonderful year for me to experience a lot of things, the excitement is yet no words could ever replace the emotions that I experienced so far. Today is the very last Friday of 2011, and also the very last day for me to work in 2011. I'll definitely miss 2011 very much. How about I make a recap of what I did this entire year?

At the beginning of the year, I step into prosperity land, Taiwan. Staying there for the whole week totally enrich my knowledges and life experiences as there are a lot of things that I had never ever thought of it, which in the end I do realize there are possibilities that I would come over again. Why? I miss their bakery store, the night market, and of course their food !

Move on to Chinese New Year, I enjoyed my lovely days with family and friends. Grab all the red packet that full of cash =D

Then I stepped into magazine industry, get the chance to know great and friendly people, how they succeed in their business and their life journey as well.

On the following month, I stepped again in the land of freedom, Thailand. This time, it was a company trip with additional activities, that is, International Dog Show 2011. Brought not more than a thousand ringgit, can you ever imagine that I brought a lot of nice goodies, handbags, shirts, pants, gifts and many more. As the people said, Bangkok consider as a shopping heaven beside Hong Kong. The 4 days 3 night trip ended up with a smile and laughter.

Of course, August is the month! Yes, I mean my birthday !! Held at The Opera, Sunway, there are more people joining that I expected. Not only friends, but the people in the magazine industry as well. We club all night long, 6 bottle of Black Label, 3 times of Lamborghini, and yet i'm only 10% drunk. The next day, I woke up at 3pm. Luckily it was Sunday and I have my sweet time on my bed.

Headed to 2 lovely countries, the next destination would be Penang Island. It's consider as work trip but we are free to do anything as long we finished our task. Penang, famous of foods and beach view, we tried a lot such as Hokkien mee and rojak. Well, the best part was hotel. We keep changing the hotels every night just to experience the concept of " Bag packing" .

Next, will be my lovely dance group gathering. Malacca and Negeri Sembilan was our choice of destinations with a theme, called "Makanthon - Eat all the way !" We ate a lot of good foods for sure! Breakfast, we tried dim sum and chicken rice ball for lunch. Dinner, we ate crabs ! Fats ~

All of the sudden, pop out a birthday invitation! It was one of my dance' group friend birthday. Held at Kalamanzoo Cafe at Damansara area, we went there and the food was nice !

Later, will be Christmas dinner which happened 2 days back at Chilis, Mid Valley Megamall. Of course, gift exchange, no one want to miss that !

Such a wonderful day for all the people around the world to gather around especially with their family to celebrate this joyful X'mas. X'mas Eve was the best part after all where everyone having their lovely dinner with their loved ones. As for me, I took this chance to stay at home with my family rather than hanging out with friends or celebrate with them.

Every year, there are a lot of places in Kuala Lumpur celebrates this wonderful night and offer a lot packages or special promotions for family outings. Some of the families take this opportunity to have a family vacations by visiting the other countries, the top selection : Singapore.

Right now, I'm in Starbucks located at Viva Home, Kuala Lumpur. Making my new year resolutions list...

Things that I miss in 2011

These while I was thinking about what I have done in 2011, what I have achieved in 2011 and many more, all of the sudden my cell brain generates some words which I do think it just a minority but hell no when I look at the calendar.

Yes, there are only 2 opportunities that I miss out, it not just "opportunities" but "gold opportunities".

A trip to Paris and job opportunity from Italy.

Early of the year, I received an invitation from some company in Italy to become a photographer which represents Malaysia in particular event that was held around mid of the year and their running campaigns as well throughout a year. How do I miss it? Well, I am working in that particular company and I have been working from morning 'till night. Guess what, forgot to check my mail! Once I've noticed, it was absolutely too late. TOO LATE ..

How do I feel? Imagine gorilla holding two knives and do the "chest stabbing" and I've been emotional depressed for the whole week which I didn't even touch any tasks in my hand that time.

Almost of the this year, which happened recently, a call from a production company asking whether I am free during Xmas season as they want to hire me to become video editor for a company trip.How do I miss it? Well, I should thanks to Europe crisis which contributes the decision of canceling the trip? FML ~

Same shit happened in 2010 where I miss out a trip to Dubai. YES DUBAI !!!

Looking at the date, just left 24 more days to celebrate and welcoming the year of 2012. Before that, X'mas celebration. Somehow, my friends birthday also in this month. So I can conclude that December = Party Month for me. Basically, I am bored for the whole day. Nothing to do even during the office hour, I just sat there and looked at the Mac screen wondering, "Is there anything I can do right now?"

Finally, the last month of the year. Been waiting for it as everyone were happy about it since X'mas and New Year celebrations also around the corner. New year new beginning ( gonna hear it very soon from someone =.=ll )

I started my lovely December with 2 movies. One of it was Petaling Street Warriors, directed by James Lee Thim Heng and Sampson Yuen Choi-Hin through Malaysia Production company, Juita Entertainment. Combination of singapore and malaysian actors and actresses, this movie burst out my stomach for laughing non-stop from he beginning until the end of the movie.

Plot :

"Set against the background of Petaling Street in 1908, Petaling Street Warriors tells the story of a pair of married couple, Shi Duyao (Mark Lee) and Zhung Lichun (Yeo Yann Yann), who operate a Hokkien mee stall in Petaling Street, where they suffer from the inefficiency of the colonial government and suppression by the Chinese gangsters. While trying to impress his wife, Duyao encounters a mysterious yet strikingly beautiful kungfu expert, Xiaoju (Chris Tong), who claims that Duyao is a descendant of the missing Emperor Jianwen of the Ming Dynasty. To stop a group of Qing warriors and Japanese ninjas from robbing a treasure map that Duyao doesn't even know he has, Lichun and her cousin, Liu Kun (Namewee), finally reveal their kungfu, turning Petaling Street into the ultimate battleground. Next will be You Are Apple In My Eye. One of the great movie of the year featuring Ko Chen-Tung as Ko Ching-Teng, a very hot guy who fall in love with beautiful girl Michelle Chen as Shen Chia-Yi in the movie. This Taiwanese romance film made its world premiere at the 13th Taipei Film Festival on 25 June 2011.It was subsequently released in Taiwanese cinemas on 19 August 2011. The film was well received by film critics, and it also set many box office records in Taiwan, Hong Kong and Singaporean box office.Actor Ko Chen-Tung won the "Best Newcomer" award at the 48th Golden Horse Awards for his role in this film.

Somehow, there are nude scenes ( main actor ) inside the movie and the reality of a student life. For girls who want to understand more about guys, you just need to watch this movie. For those who intend to watch this movie with ur partners, make sure both of you were "open-minded type". Believe me, there are some people said that bringing your ex-partner(s) to watch this movie is the best choice ever. Why? You just need to figure it out yourself. It is worth to watch it.

Plot:

"The story begins in 1994. Shen Chia-Yi is popular among teachers and her classmates as an outstanding student and a girl to date. She is also the class representative. Only mischievous Ko Ching-Teng claims having no interest in her, despite being her classmate since junior high school. One day, the class teacher arranges for Ching-Teng to sit in front of Chia-Yi after he was caught masturbating in class.

One English lesson, Chia-Yi has not brought her textbook to class. Pitying her, Ching-Teng slips her his and confesses to the teacher to not bringing the textbook. Ching-Teng then endures a long lecture and is punished. Chia-Yi, moved by his act, prepares a practice paper for Ching-Teng in return, to encourage him to work hard in his studies. She also convinces him to stay after school to study with her. Since then, their relationship grows, and Ching-Teng's grades improve.

Upon graduation, Ching-Teng manages to enroll at the National Chiao Tung University. Yet, Chia-Yi was unwell during examinations and enters the National Taipei University of Education as a result of underperforming. Chia-Yi, depressed by the result, is consoled by Ching-Teng. After their break-up, Ah-He dates Chia-Yi for a short time, but breaks up five months later. In the two years after their breakup, Ching-Teng does not have any contact with Chia-Yi. In the meantime he qualifies for a research course at Tunghai University upon graduation, where he starts to write web novels. Ching-Teng manages to maintain contact with Chia-Yi after the 921 earthquake, when he called her to find out if she was injured.

Years later, in 2004, Chia-Yi calls Ching-Teng to tell him that she is getting married. All of her old friends gather at the wedding, joking about trying to embarrass the groom. Nevertheless, they are finally surprised that their past emotions have transformed into a profound friendship and ever calmness in their hearts. Ching-Teng begins work on a web novel about his experiences with Chia-Yi."

Expensive Journey

A shocking day for me as I already mad enough in the early morning, heading to bank just to withdraw my money and guess what, no money ! Fine, I am late to work so I decided to go to other bank and withdraw. After reload RM50 to my TouchNGo card, wishing that next few days, I do not need to queue for tickets or tokens for train.

After work, quickly ran to LRT ( Light Rail Transit ) owned by RapidKL to skip the human traffic. Here the come the expensive journey. Scan my card and can't pass through. Check with the people at the counter, claiming there are no more credit in the card. I was like WTF? I just reload RM 50. They asked me to go to the center at KL Central.

Went there, check out what the problems and yes;

From my house to my work place = RM 4
Total to and fro = RM 8
How much they drained : RM 46 !!!

Customer Service officer = CS
Me = Me

CS : Did you use it or pay anything using this card?
Me : Totally no..
CS : Are you using the new system that RapidKL provide?
Me : Yes, I am.
CS : Well, guess what, their new system already charge all the amount in your card.
Me : What? Impossible. When I went for work, the screen still display the balance. But why now just left RM 2 ? !!!
CS : Yes, it is true. My record here show that the amount of RM 50 had drained your money. Their system still not stable yet. Therefore, we will issue refund for you, but after 1 month only able to bank in to you.
Me : WTF !?

This is so called new system that doesn't promise any safety to the owner. FML ~

Makanthon

27.11.2011. It is a wonderful day for me and my dance partners to hang out and chill out in Melaka. Even though not as smooth as we planned earlier, somehow we manage to strike it and continue our so called Makanthon Day. I believe some of you wondering what is Makanthon, well Makan means Eat in Malay and the word -thon simply means marathon.

Basically, we have to wake up around 6.30 am in order to meet up in Bandar Tasik Selatan LRT station around 7.30 am. Receive a sms from one of my friends saying there are some unable to make it. Well, it just a small problems. Since non of us had our breakfast, we went to Seremban to have our breakfast. Drop by at Pasar Besar Seremban, we ate dim sum at level 2. It's recalled my childhood memory where I was brought by grandmother when I was small to have breakfast almost every morning.

After the breakfast we walked around the wet market and we found a huge size of a banana. Yup, the length were like 20cm and approximately 5cm radius. I ate it before back to few years when I was a child, bigger than this and I thought it is no way for me to see it back. Guess my luck still here.

We continue our journey to Melaka, but this time we are not using the highway. We used the so called kampung road, it is a road that people used to travel before they invented highway. ( Forgot what it called actually.. ) At first we thought that it might be taking hours to reach but somehow, it was faster that we thought.

Along the way, we saw a lot of road names that we never ever saw or even thought it was impossible to have that kind of names e.g. Ramuan China Kechil and Ramuan China Besar.

Our very first place to be in Melaka was Ee Ji Ban Restaurant, one of the famous restaurant that sell chicken rice ball. With reasonable price, the food were delicious.

Then we make our way to Dataran Pahlawan to actually take some photos of the city landmark, somehow it was raining and I was able to snap this :

No hard feeling, but somehow it's look funny.Because of the rain, we end up in shopping malls and we saw SALES ! Looking at the Padini already make me freaks out. Imagine you need to queue to make payment, from the cashier counter to out of the shop.

Later, we walk around the mall and we saw went into shop inside the mall. Fully filled with shoes with the boxes and yet it is colourful. I was stunned and impressed with the arrangement and the colour. Nice !

Due to the rain, we decided to head back to Seremban for dinner. We stop by at Kedai Makanan Seremban. One of the famous sea food restaurant in the state. Delicious. The meat were fresh and tasty. I will recommend my friends to try it.

After a great dinner, we head back to Kuala Lumpur and looking at the time, thought it was early, we headed to Station 1 cafe at Cheras area to have a drink. We thought of ordering some cold juices but somehow, one of my friends ordered a bucket of Carlsberg. 5 bottles and they free another 2 bottles for us.

Of course, we play card games and the winner goes to the one who ordered the Carlsberg. Guess that make our lovely trip - Makanthon =)

December coming soon, which means X'mas is near, so do New Year.

Every week, people are hoping that Friday come on the next day. Simply believe that they just want to party at night. Well, when I woke up in the morning, TGIF ! and next monday will be holiday as well due to Awal Muharam replacement. I know, it's awesome ! Party time extended ! LMAO !

Somehow, Friday seems to be lucky day for me for like past few years?! And when I step into office this morning, the very first thing I saw was :

Hahahahaha, this really make my day ! Somehow, my working life here in this company where totally bored to the max as I have nothing to do in the first place. Have you ever tried be VASE in the company? I even complain to the Art Director and Head of Production, but they can't help as most of the things did by Art Director himself. I felt like being a useless guy here. Dislike !

Ya, fuck it ! I'm kinda like people especially artist who draw some of the animation character with their own imagination character and style they had.

It's awesome. This picture was found in 9gag.com, one of my favorite website ever !! Sigh, thank God it's Friday. If not I will be bored AGAIN ! P/s : Sunday I will be heading to Melaka for Makanthon ! =P

In conjunction with The One Academy student's graduation campaign, Ima91nation gave out their best in order to raise the fund for their campaign. Hitting the hotspot venues such as Sunway Pyramid's Asian Avenue and Taylor's Lakeside Syopz, they gained supports from every part of Klang Valley as they draw caricature and illustrate the people who gave out their support. With an affordable prices, people will get their chances to animate themselves not only to caricature but in digital painting as well. There are more actually, but I just can't wait to show you mine =P

This was drawn by my friend which a part of the graduation campaign. This one cost RM 40 only. In Malaysia, the market price for something like this , the minimun for sure is RM 60. Sometimes, depend on your luck as well. Awkward? Well, this is business . =)

Such a great Monday with clear sky and everyone seems to be happy, might be experienced some nice moment with their loved ones. As usual, theStar newspaper will be delivered to the office and I always read it for the sake of getting our nation news and to get rid of boredom.

Somehow, as a pet lover, this article pull out my attention where MPKj aka Kajang Municipal Council dog catchers who allegedly continue to abuse the stray dogs they caught. This matter officially contribute the number of animal abuse cases that happen in Malaysia. I remembered that last time, there is a video recorded by citizen, uploaded in the YouTube.com showing how the dog catchers actually torture the stray dog they caught in housing area.

Not only they abuse the dog, the dog also been given poison on the spot in order to put them to sleep. The process of putting the dog to sleep were totally hurtful and causes anger to pet lovers around the world. They did not harm the citizens, they just a cute animal that looking for food.

Most of the people nowadays creating awareness to stop animal abuse as animal were a part of the world and they do have the rights to live in this world. No one should rip off their life.

The X'mas Deco - Gusta !

X'mas is around the corner. As usual, there are a lot of shopping mall get their chances to decorate their mall with X'mas deco items. Some are beautiful, elegance and nice, but some are just normal. Today, I walked around Bukit Bintang, Kuala Lumpur to look around the malls in order to get see which deco is the most beautiful and special. Every year, Pavilion KL will be the best among the people in KL as their deco were special with special theme. Fahrenheit88 gave their best to decorate their mall this year and it's turn out to be special and nice as well.

Travel Plan 2012

Year 2012, the so called "Doomsday" as the Mayan calendar stops at the end of the year 2012, churning up all sorts of religious, scientific, astrological and historic reasons why this calendar foretells the end of life as we know it. Well, I can say that there might be not enough spaces when Mayan tries to finish their calendar? Anyway, I don’t give a damn on it.

Doomsday or not, my plan to enjoy my lovely trip for next year is here!!

On April 2012, I will be heading to Hat Yai, Thailand for water festival. Taiwan will be on May! There is also possibility to go Thailand again right after Chinese New Year.

End of June 2011, it was my trip to the capital city of Thailand - Bangkok. The so called “Company Trip ", beside disappointed me and my colleagues, I experienced a lot of things which I never had it during my previous trip to Bangkok which happen to be last year. Something that shows the real Thai's people, who are they, what kind of appearances and lifestyle they had, it can't be explained through words.

They showed me what we called as loyalty, true love, creativity, courtesy and the most important, their culture.

At the very first day when I step into the country, I felt something different which all of the sudden, I smiled. The same feeling happened when I was in Taiwan. I thought maybe it is just a feeling of a traveler, or someone who had their chances to travel to other countries. Well, it is not.

Thailand is practically known as creative country. All of their advertisement, movies and many more are totally awesome. I took a chance to their shopping malls, and their cinemas. Salty popcorns, have you ever taste it? In Malaysia, there are only sweet popcorns, while in Thailand, there are more. Right before the movie’s start, all of us have to stand up and sing their national song. Nice melody.

They work hard as well. I never saw a promoter that truly passionate with her work, holding a microphones and promote their company stuff like no ending.

There is lot of things that I would like to express about what I had gone through during Bangkok trip. As I said, it is hard to express it through words.

Well, it is sad when I heard about Bangkok flood which ‘till now, there are no ending of it. People are suffering, business running slow and most of them lost their home.

Pray for them. Wish them all the best and hope the flood will end as soon as possible. I will be there soon. Cause I just realize that...

Sometimes, I was wondering about life. What makes our life exciting? In Buddha teachings, he said that sit down and relax while having a cup of tea is considered a good deed. Yup this is what I am doing now. So far, I am not working. That's why I do have a lot of free time.

Right now, I'm at Rotiboy Bakery Cafe right right after gym session. Guess what, a cute little kid next to my table keep changing her order. She keep changing it and she even stated the reason why she do not want the drinks. In the end, she ordered a cup of water and saying that," Water is healthy." I was like.. OMG ! I bet she gonna be pretty lady in the future =)

After work out, my body were lighter, and my eye sight even better than before. All those dirty sweats washed away and for sure I'm gonna make myself having a healthy lifestyle just like before.

I thought of deleting this blog as it is fucking random and my grammar sucks as well. But I decided not to do it as I already have my readers.

I can't even sleep at this time, frustrated mind and a lot of things need to be considered in my life; money, work flow and many more. Right now, earning money somehow influenced me so much.

Trying to put away the frustration and problems, I search my hard drive as if I could found something that I can watch or listen to. A video title called " Friends Forever" appear before my eyes. I click it.

Well, it was my 1st video editing, which happened during Form 5 near graduation day. This video is all about our life style, what we did and where we go together. I almost cry while watching this video. It's remind me about friendship that doesn't involved anything aka pure friendship.

Too bad I can't upload the video as there are P & C stuff inside the video. Haha~ Miss you guys, 5SC1 =)
