You Can Make Money Online By Keeping Things Simple

The one thing that a lot of people do including myself when it comes to making money online is make it complicated then it should be. There are a few simple rules that should be followed and you can make some money. I'm not going to go into great detail here, but here are the basics you need to follow.

You need to find a product that a lot of people want and then find some buyer keywords that you can write content for.

Then you need property to put your content on. You can use free properties like Squidoo, Wizzley, Zujava or Blogger your own website. Once you have your content on your property you have to get traffic to it. You can do this by getting your site up high in the search engines. You do this by getting backlinks to your site. Some ways to get backlinks is by writing articles for article directories, posting on bookmarking sites and other social media. The more backlinks you can get the higher your site will rise on the search engines. That's the basics.

Choosing the right product to promote and the right keywords is important, but if you just keep to this basic concept and keep it simple you will make money online.

Using Videos To Get Traffic

Building online properties for affiliate offers is a good way of making money online. I say that a lot. I have been creating a lot of Squidoo lenses and I know that the more of them I make the more money I can make. The thing is getting traffic to those lenses. I do the regular article marketing and social posting thing, but I had not thought of video marketing until lately.

Well, really I had thought about it, but I never did anything about it. I recently got this system called No Investment to Passive Income that I'm trying out that involves using YouTube and other video sites to drive traffic to your sites. it involves making short one minute videos that contain a link to your site or directly to the offer you're promoting. These videos are simple and very easy to make.

I'm just starting this and want to see how it works out. But , even the videos don't send traffic to your site at least it's another backlink that can help boost the site up the search engines. If you want to give the system look click here to check it out.

I’m here for the week in Dallas, Texas, visiting my childhood BFF. I hadn’t seen her in, gosh, maybe 5 years since this trip. It is great being with her, and seeing the life she has built for herself here. I’m happy for her.

Growing up, she never had much, and was an only-child to a mom who was married 9 times. Yes, 9 times. Now, she has created a life for herself that is healthy and good. She has a good marriage, 2 children, a beautiful house, a college degree, and a good job. The kids are at school all day, and she is at work until 2 every day. I’ve been sleeping in until about 10, then going to meet her for an early lunch at 11.

Right now, I am just chilling, watching DirecTV, and folding their laundry. Everyone should be home soon, and then we are going out to dinner and see a movie. I love being here with her. Being here makes me realize how much I’ve truly missed her.

My Thoughts on Affiliate Cash Snypers

Making Money Online Website Flipping

Website flipping is another way of making money online that I am starting to look into. I have only been using free ways of earning money like Blogger blogs, Weebly and Squidoo.

With website flipping there is some money spending involved. You will have to pay for a domain name and web hosting, but these costs are very low. However, folks are making a lot of money selling website.

There are some things that has to be learned to do this, but from what I understand the learning curve is low.

So I am going to stick my toe in the website flipping pool and I will report on how it goes.

Moving For A Job

I moved here for the job opportunity of a lifetime and I really miss my old friends, especially on weekends. It would be nice to curl up and watch direct tv Meridian on the couch with my buddy Sam and maybe even some football, too. I never thought I’d miss that! I work all the time which is good because it means I did the right thing by taking this job but it makes it hard for me to meet new people in my new city.

I love my new apartment, too, but you know, it’s nothing like home. My mom and dad say I’m doing the responsible thing and they’re glad I’m really taking charge of my career but you know, at the end of the day I wonder if I should have placed more emphasis on being close to people I loved. Getting over our flooding damage

Last week we had a pretty big storm. I think that it was part of Irene and a leak that we didn't know about on our patio sliding door led to some flooding in our living room. I thought this was one of those things that you can put off for a while but it obviously wasn't. So now I'm paying the price and having to deal with all the repairs.

There wasn't a whole lot of damage, but our carpet was a mess. So we decided to get it replaced. After looking around online for a little bit I decided to go with Sears carpets and get them to replace it for us.

They got it done pretty quickly and it was nice to have some carpet that we actually like instead of that awful greenish teal that the last homeowners had installed. Instead, we picked out a really nice looking chocolate brown. It won't show dirt as badly, which is something of my concern because most of the time I'm the one that has vacuuming duties.

Easy Paycheck Formula Review Lesson 12

Lesson twelve of Easy Paycheck Formula is the final lesson and it shows us more backlinking techniques. There are four videos in this lesson. Video one, which is 2 minutes 18 seconds long, is just an introduction to lesson. In my opinion it can be skipped.

Video two is 6 minutes 21 seconds long and discusses how to get high authority backlinks using web 2.0 sites. Video three, which is 5 minutes 30 seconds long and video four is 6 minutes 5 seconds long. They are both on very popular ways that people have been using for years to get backlinks. For me there was no new information here and both of these techniques are things I really don’t like to do. But I will do them for this review.

The last video for this program is the conclusion video in which Sara lets us know that she is willing to help us whenever we need help with anything regarding the program. Her goal is to see that you are making money by the end of the course. She also lets us know that she will continue to send helpful tips through e-mail. The video is only 1 minute 34 seconds long.

My thoughts on the course are that it is very good for those affiliate marketers that are just starting out. The information is very thorough, which is something a beginner needs. However if you have been doing this for a little while there is probably a lot of info here that you will already know. The good thing about it is that it gives you a guide you can follow to keep you on track.

Easy Paycheck Formula is basically about article marketing and getting the articles you write to rank high in the search engines. There is very little said about ranking your product landing page. Although you can use the same methods used to rank your articles to rank the landing page also.

All in all, it’s a good program for beginners and a good guide to follow for those with more experience. In the end I’m glad I got it for half price and not the full price. I will let you know how I progress.

There’s one video in this that is 6 minutes 49 seconds long. Sara gives us other article directories that we can submit our article to and suggests to not only link to your landing page but also another link that I had not thought of.

This lesson basically show how to signup and submit your article two other popular article directories. I am already a member of the directories Sara talks about so I’m going to submit my article to them as well as some others.

Easy Paycheck Formula Review Lesson 9 & 10

In this lesson of Easy Paycheck Formula we start getting into getting backlinks for the article or Hub, which ever you chose. I did both.

There are certain back linking methods that I normally do for my properties, but I’m just going to do what Sara tells us here in order to gage how affective this program is. I may however add mine later after this has had time to work.

This lesson has one video that is 7 minutes 16 seconds long. It’s on social bookmarking and gives a site where you can do it faster. I have tried this site before and I really don’t like. I have another site that I use so that’s what I’ll be using.

That’s all there really is to this lesson, really simple and shouldn’t take long to do. I’ll go ahead and get into lesson ten too. We’re still on back linking, but this time using RSS feeds. There’s one video in this lesson that is 4 minutes 48 seconds long.

Sara shows how to find your RSS feed for your author page on Ezine Articles and how to go about submitting the feed to RSS sites. She even gives a list of sites to submit to.

I’m going to go ahead and complete these lessons and come back tomorrow with lesson eleven.

Easy Paycheck Formula Review Lesson 8

I have now created a HubPages hub and I wrote article for Ezine Articles for the blog product that I’m promoting. I mention that the product that I’m promoting on the blog and the product I’m on my hub are two different products.

I have to say that I was surprised at how fast my article got approved at Ezine Articles. It was less than 24 hours. So now I’m ready to move on to lesson eight of Easy Paycheck Formula.

There is one video in this lesson that is 12 minutes 31 seconds long and is basically on tracking and uses the Ezine Article track as an example. However, Sara does say you can use the same logic with HubPages. Sara goes through the process a visitor goes through when they doing a search on Google to the point of the sale. She also shows how to track each step. So if you find that you are not making sales you can go through and trouble shot the process.

There was some information on how to do the Google and Ezine Articles tracking that I didn’t know. I like that because that’s way I bought the program to get new info. There is some much need info in this lesson, but I thought it should probably come after we learn how to rank our articles, which Sara mentions will be the next lesson. So tomorrow it’s on to lesson nine.

Easy Paycheck Formula Review Lesson 7 Part 2

I created my blog for the product I decided to promote and have done my post now I’m ready to move to part three of the Ezine Articles track of lesson seven of Easy Paycheck Formula. There are two videos in this section.

In video one we choose a pen name for Ezine Articles and Sara tells us what mindset we should have when writing our article. This is good advice and something I will implement when writing my articles from now on. Sara also gives advice on what should go in the article and where, also some good advice. This video is 4 minutes 59 seconds long.

Video two is about writing an effective title, body and resource box for your article. Sara goes into great detail on how to do these things so that each one is understood. She even gives the HTML for doing the link in the resource box. The time on this video is 10 minutes 22 seconds.

Now lets turn our attention to the HubPages track. For those who have decided to do the Ezine Articles track you can skip this part and come back and join me tomorrow. Since I’m doing this review I’m doing both tracks and you can too if you want.

The HubPages track has just the one part, but there are four videos. In video one, which is 2 minutes 9 seconds long, Sara takes us through creating a HubPages account, which I already have.

Video two takes us through creating a Hub and what settings to use when creating it. We’re basically just getting ready to put up our article and publish it. As always Sara is very thorough in her explanations. The video is 6 minutes 34 seconds long.

In video three Sara gets into writing the content for the Hub. She explains where and how to use your keyword and what your initial goal should be for the reader. In this video you will also learn to add photos and videos to the Hub, all great info for beginners. Sara also goes through selecting some LSI keywords, which she mentioned in lesson six, to add to her content. The video is 13 minutes 52 seconds long.

Video four is about how to check your stats and keep track of your scores and what they mean. She also tells how to improve your score. I have had a HubPages account for quite a while, but there is some information in this video that I didn’t know or just didn’t pay attention to that will be very useful. I think there is some good information in this video, which is 2 minutes 34 seconds long, especially if you’re just starting with it.

I’m going to go ahead and create a Hub and write my article for Ezine Articles and then move on to lesson eight tomorrow.

Easy Paycheck Formula Review Lesson 7

Lesson seven of Easy Paycheck Formula is a little different than the rest of the lessons. It is broken up into two parts, but you can choose which part you want to follow and skip the other. These parts are the different tracks that were mention in lesson one for doing your article marketing. One makes use of Ezine Articles the other uses HubPages. I will review both tracks.

We start off with Ezine Articles. This track has three parts. Part one has four videos and video one introduces us to Ezine Articles, gives us the different levels and tells how to become a platinum author. It is 11 minutes 35 seconds long. Of course veterans can skip this video. Sara does give some good advice that I wish I had known when I got started on how to reach platinum level at Ezine quickly. This level gets your articles published more quickly and you don’t have as many restrictions as when you are in basic level.

Video two tells about the changes that Ezine made on February 2011. This video is 4 minutes 56 seconds long. This shows that Sara actually does update this program when things change, which is very good.

In video three we learn how to signup to Ezine Articles and Sara gives us some examples of some high-ranking Ezine articles to show what could be accomplished because of Google’s love for Ezine Articles. As always Sara is thorough and it easy to understand the steps. This video is 4 minutes 53 seconds.

You learn how to submit your articles to Ezine Articles in video four with step-by-step instructions. The video is 6 minutes 45 seconds long.

As a bonus to this section, there is a link to a section to help you write your articles. There are three videos there. However, I’m not going to review that section.

Moving on to part two of The Ezine track we find there is three videos. Video one is 12 minutes 16 seconds long and shows how to create an effective landing page on Blogger, which is part of the reason I bought the program. The information on how to create a new blog I already knew, but again it is very helpful for beginners.

However, there is other information that is helpful to me since I never used a blog as a landing page even though I have thought about it.

Video two is just on what to do if you have problems placing your image where you want it or making the image link to your affiliate page. The video is 3 minutes 17 seconds.

The last video is on what to do if you’re not accepted as an Amazon associate for whatever reason. Sara tells us of another site to use where you can still get commissions on Amazon products and not be an associate you are even given a link to a free ebook on how to use this site.

Okay, I’m going to go create my landing page and I will be back tomorrow with part three of the Ezine Articles track and will start the HubPages track. Hope to find you there.

Easy Paycheck Formula Review Lesson 5 & 6

Here we are at lesson five of the Easy Paycheck Formula review. If you’re following along I have my two products to promote from lesson four and I’m now ready to move on. I want to tell though that it was harder to find those products using Sara’s criteria then it was for Sara in her videos, but she does tell you that it most likely would be.

Okay, in this lesson there is there are two videos. The first video is 4 minutes 13 seconds long and tells how to create an affiliate link to your product, which I already know. Video two is an overview of Endless.com and shows how to make a link if you decide to promote their products. It is 2 minutes 33 seconds long.

That’s really it for lesson five so lets go ahead and do lesson six today also.

Lesson six has two videos and is basically about SEO. Video one explains what Google looks for when ranking content and is 5 minutes 46 seconds long. Video two talks about what LSI (Latent Semantic Indexing) keywords are and how to find and use them.

Sara gives a very good explanation on how to use your keywords in your content and on your web page in order to rank high in Google in video one. It’s I already knew, but once again things a newbie won’t know and should be taught.

In the second video, Sara shows a couple of ways to get LSI keywords and explains how they work. This is something that I had actually recently learned about just before I bought this program and have been using in my content creating.

Overall these two lessons will be very helpful to beginners, but not so much for intermediates and up. Sara does explain everything so that it’s understandable and newbies will have no trouble following.

Easy Paycheck Formula Review Lesson 4

Today we’re on to lesson four of our Easy Paycheck Formula review. This is a longer lesson than the first three and has six videos.

Video one introduces the concepts buying keywords and Google competition it is 10 minutes and 2 second long. Video two and three demonstrates how Sara does product and keyword research and we finally get to choose our first product to promote. This is what I have been waiting to get to.

Video two is 9 minutes and 40 second long and video three is 6 minutes and 8 second long. Video four talks about what to do if Google gives you an error message when you’re doing your research. It is 2 minutes and 31 second long. Video five gives you another tip on Google competition and is 3 minutes and 10 second long. As I mentioned yesterday video six is an updated version on how to use a Google tools new interface to find out how people search to find the product. This video is 8 minutes and 13 second long.

In video one Sara goes through the though process of a buyer as they get to the buying stage and finally use a buying keyword to find a product. She also gives some examples of buying keywords. In this video we also learn how to gage the competition for the keyword phrases we choose and how strong that competition is. Some of this I and other more advanced marketers will already know.

Video two gets us into what I bought the program for and that’s picking the right product to promote. Before picking a product we use the free Google tool Sara told us about to see if the category we pick sells this time of year and the category I chose does. Using Sara’s criteria for choosing a product in regards to price, star rating and number of customers rating, I chose a product to promote.

After choosing a product we go see if people are actually looking for it and how they are looking for it. Sara shows how to do this and I find out a couple of things that I didn’t know about, which is great. In video three we just research another product.

In video four Sara tells us what to do if Google stops giving you results when you’re doing your keyword research.

There’s a little trick that Sara shows us in video five that gets Google to show us the true exact competition results in our searches.

Video six shows how to do the keyword research using the new interface of Google’s tool.

Today we’re on to lesson three of Easy Paycheck Formula review by Sara Young. There just one video for this lesson and its 14 minutes and 19 seconds long. In this lesson we’ll learn how to use Amazon to find best selling products, how to use Google to find out what time of year a product sells best and how to tell what people are typing into Google when searching for a product.

Sara lets us know that once we learn the skills taught in the program we actually have marketable skills that we can provide to others and make money with. She then goes on to show how pick products to promote from Amazon and show how to use a very helpful tool at Google to gage what time of year is the best time to sell the product you pick.

She also shows how to use another Google tool to find out how people search to find the product, but this part you can skip because there is and updated version of this in part six of the next lesson. This lesson is again basically for the complete newbie, which is good and is really what this program is all about. It starts you from the ground floor and makes sure you understand exactly what is what, which makes it more thorough.

Those of us that have been doing this for a little while will already know a lot of the stuff in this lesson.

Today I want to continue with my Easy Paycheck Formula review by Sara Young. Today we go into lesson two. There are three videos in this lesson. Video one shows how to create a Blogger blog so that you can apply to Amazon and is 6 minutes and 42 second long. Video two shows how to apply for an Amazon associates account and is 3 minutes and 38 second long. Video three has the updated look and feel of the Amazon application and is 3 minutes and 38 second long. Even if you already know these things these videos should not be skipped because there is other information that Sara gives.

Video one goes through the steps of creating a blog on Blogger and lets you know how many initial articles you will need on your blog before you apply to Amazon and where to get them if you don’t want to write your own. I already have a Blogger blog as you can see. As a matter of fact I have a few. I also already have an Amazon associates account.

A little side note here that I find kind of amusing. In some videos there has been some audio editing and they are so painfully obvious. There are different voice levels and different acoustics and even different moods in Sara’s, which is just kind of funny to me.

Okay, in video two we apply for the Amazon Associates program. This video is short and very straightforward. You’re just signing up for the program and using your new blog as your website. However you can actually skip this video because in video three Sara shows you how to do this using the new Amazon application. I really think she should remove video two and let video three be number two.

Easy Paycheck Formula Review Lesson 1

I haven’t posted here in quite while, but I recently bought Easy Paycheck Formula by Sara Young and wanted to do a review of it here to try and put some life back into this blog.

I have been working really hard doing affiliate marketing meanly using Squidoo and Amazon. As a matter of fact I even created a blog to post my progress and some tips that I have learned along the way. You can check out that blog titled Squidoodling - Make Money With Squidoo.

I really haven’t had the success I thought I should be having yet. Yes, I have made some money with it, but not on a consistent basis. I felt I was doing the things I should be doing, but obviously something is missing. I decided I needed to get a program that would give a precise outline to follow.

The reason I went with Easy Paycheck Formula is that I had seen it around for a while and had look into it and thought it looked. Plus it sort of followed the same plan I was doing as far as using only free resources to make money. All the reviews I read also told of how simple the program was. The only thing that held me back from getting it from the start was I didn’t have the money to spare for it.

Will a couple of weeks ago it went on sale for half price and I jumped on it. I have taken a quick look through most of the videos and it looks pretty good. From what I can tell there are a lot of things in it that I already know, but other things that I didn’t know. So now I’m going to go back through and start working the program and document the process here.

Okay, so we will start with lesson one. In this lesson we find out that Easy Paycheck Formula use to be called “Article Income Blueprint”. The program was renamed and extra material was added and updated, but some of the videos from the original program were left in. So in some videos we hear Sara refer to the program as Article Income Blueprint.

There are three videos in this first lesson. The first is an introduction to affiliate marketing and is 6 minutes and 26 seconds long. The second is an introduction to the Easy Paycheck Formula program and is 10 minutes and 53 seconds long. The third explains two tracks for writing articles you can use (Ezine Articles and HubPages) and how to pick the best one for you. This is 4 minutes and 6 seconds long.

If you are already familiar with want affiliate marketing is you can actually skip the first video, it’s really for the absolute newbie. I would have skipped myself, but since I’m doing this review I had to make sure of what it was about.

Video two is one of the new videos and Sara tells you what I told you above about the name change and lets you know that she updates the program as needed. As a matter of fact she had just updated it just before I bought it. Sara also gives you an overview of what you can expect to gain from the program in this video.

In video three Sara explains the two tracks you can take when writing your articles for your campaigns. She explains that you can go with either Ezine Articles or HubPages and points out the pro and cons of both and explains how to choose which is best for you. Sara suggests that you pick one of those tracks and follow that track once you get to that part in the program.

Another Revenue Sharing Site Best Reviewer

I just ran across this new revenue sharing site called Best Reviewer. Actually revenue sharing is incorrect since they give 100% of the Adsense money made there. The site is owned by the same person that owns She Told Me a revenue sharing site where you can bookmark your blog posts and other sites.

However, Best Reviewer is different in that it’s like a “Tops” site. Like the top 10 money makers or the top 5 kids toys. How it works is, you create a top whatever and then list whatever it is. The site can explain it better then I can. It’s a great way to not only make some more Adsense money but also get backlinks to your site or blog because in your list you can put your URL in each item.
