If All the Seas Were One Sea

2011-08-08T14:08:00.000-07:00

If all the seas were one sea,

What a great sea that would be!

And if all the trees were one tree,

What a great tree that would be!

And if all the axes were one axe,

What a great axe that would be!

And if all the men were one man,

What a great man he would be!

And if the great man took the great axe,

And cut down the great tree,

And let it fall into the great sea,

What a splish splash that would be!

All the Pretty Little Horses

2011-08-08T14:05:00.001-07:00

Hush-a-bye, don't you cry;

Go to sleep my little baby.

When you awake, you will have cake

And all the pretty little horses.

Black and bay, dapple and grey,

Coach and six-a little horses.

Hush-a-bye, don't you cry;

Go to sleep my little baby.

Hush-a-bye, don't you cry;

Go to sleep my little baby.

When you awake, you will have cake

And all the pretty little horses.

Way down yonder, down in the meadow,

There's a poor wee little lamby.

The bees and the butterflies peckin' out its eyes;

The poor wee thing cried for her mammy.

Hush-a-bye, don't you cry;

Go to sleep my little baby.

When you awake, you will have cake

And all the pretty little horses.

After a Bath

2011-08-08T14:02:00.000-07:00

After a bath, I try, try, try

To wipe myself 'till I'm dry, dry, dry.

Hands to wipe, and fingers and toes,

And two wet legs and a shiny nose.

Just think how much less time I'd take

If I were a dog, and could shake, shake, shake!

A-hunting We Will Go

2011-08-08T13:54:00.000-07:00

A-hunting we will go,

Hi-ho the derry-o

A-hunting we will go!

A-hunting we will go,

We'll catch a fox

and put him in a box

And then we'll let him go!.

A Child Should Always Say What's True

2011-08-08T13:21:00.000-07:00

A child should always say what's true,

And speak when he is spoken to;

And behave mannerly at table,

At least as far as he is able.
