Attended 2 of those research programme talks, namely Nanyang Research Programme (with NTU and NIE) and Science Research Programme because I really need to build up my tissue-paper-thin portfolio (other than being CCA leader I really don't have any other worthy achievements, that is, unless you count passing china studies as one).

Skimming through the info pamphlets and word doc, the only words screaming at me were
"O level equavilebt of 6 points"
"70% and above for math, eng and all sciences"
"150 spaces nationwide"
"20 per school"

I got A2 for math, b3 for bio, b4 for chem and b3 for bio. But that's not stopping me from applying because I really need pretty records since there is only ONE vet science scholarship available in sgp.

Thinking of RJ, HCJ, NJ, ACJ people makes me shiver.

If I'm facing so much competition, how do people in those not-as-academically-inclined schools feel?
(Not looking down at anyone or any school, but rather I'm #justsaying)

But no, I just had to have already had my braces done,

98.7fm's listeners would have known about the "MEGA HUGE" flea market happening @ Expo from last Friday till today.

Well contrary to that description,

it was not "MEGA HUGE" AT ALL.

it was dull, life-less, and everything sorta have a musky feel.

Well at least I've tried the Ramly burger for the first time there so okay luh some credit to the organizers for inviting 'em!

D and I bought lip balms though!

#2 go to NP and do something I love for THREE years - 2 years of modules and 4 mth of internship with the Louisana zoo in USA as my "final exam"

Risk: losing out to an A-level cert holder in terms of admission to uni

How does one choose between these?

Ah well,

I guess I'm taking the A-level route because I'm not one who take the paths less taken by.

You'll have to endure another 2 years of me, bitches!

Been listening to 987fm go on and on about NP,

and have thought to myself how the Veterinary Bioscience Diploma suited me,

but that had just been it.

Until this evening.

Momo went to take a look at NP's course,

and she agreed that I should go for that diploma instead of "wasting your two years in RV".

Course structure:

pink = stuffs we have already covered

green = OH-SO-ULTRA-COOLUMS

The best part?

My L1R4 is 8 after deducting 2 points from CCA!

SO GOOD RIGHT OMG I'M DAMN HAPPY HAHAHHA!

Sorry if I sound a lil' arrogant /: but I've always thought my L1R5 was 3.0 x 6 = 18

so this is a pleasant surprise for me!!

I'm so so excited now,
