Start off with a new document that gives you plenty of room to work with. Because we’re working originally from within Photoshop you can choose whatever resolution and image size you want without having to worry about losing image quality when importing bitmap images; you can choose your size and get great print quality with these kinds of tutorials.

Grab your ‘G’radient tool and choose any color gradient. Your results will almost never be exactly the same as any other time or anyone else’s use of this tutorial or technique.

Here I’m using the dark gold gradient created in another tutorial. Go ahead and put the gradient blending mode on difference and just crazy with it (on the background layer). Make purposeful intersections or whatever you want while on the reflected gradient tool.

I’ve also added a few radial gradient swipes. Keeps looking freakier and freakier doesn’t it? That’s ok. When you think you’re done, go to the Image: Adjustments: Desaturate. This draws all of the color out of your gradients.

If you end up with gradient background that is too dark, go ahead and duplicate the layer by dragging it to the new layer icon and change the blending mode to one of the light set. I’m using linear dodge in this case which brings out the light values of the two layers naturally.

Go to Filter: Sketch: Chrome and choose some settings (which will look mostly the same across the board).

Now you’ve got a silky chrome field of digital warm goo. Remember that you can use this technique a dozen different times and get completely different results!

Create another blank layer and just use the radial gradient tool on difference. I’ve chosen the default goldbar gradient (bright yellow).

Kind of reminds me of cotton candy and sugar. Anyways keep doing several different radial swipes and maybe a few diamond ones (or all diamond).

Now go ahead and Desaturate again under Image: Adjustments. You can also press Shift Ctrl U (Shift Cmd U). This takes out our cotton candy coloring (essentially it doesn’t matter what color gradient you’re going to pick if you’re going to desaturate it but you can enjoy the thoughts of cotton candy for a minute).

Now bring up a color fill layer either by creating a new layer and filling it with your color or from the pop up menu at the very top Solid Color as fill and then choose your color (here a red).

Create some appropriate text with white as the foreground color. Here I’m using my centering technique...link the text layer to the background layer; select the background layer in the layers palette, click on the moVe tool and then choose ‘align horizontal centers’ as shown. You can then unlink the layers. This will center the text (or other layers) off of perfect center.

Bring back the work that we did earlier in the tutorial and put it into a layer set. Now you can try out some different blending modes. In Photoshop, it’s all about ‘options’ (like in dating??). Color burn creates a really nice rich artsy effect. It’s up to you to develop your eye to determine what you think works best. This exact tutorial has never been done before and when start creating your own version it will also have never been done before. This bed of liquid roses looks kind of gothic. Those almost looks like skulls in there..hmm...

Here’s a different effect which could look like different things to many people. A crowd of people sleeping at a eurail depot?

Ooh...Linear Light..very interesting. You’ll want to run through all of your blending modes (even I do it all the time) because each situation is different on how the light of two layers will ‘play’ with each other. We’ve got a mixture of different angles and directions but it makes it all the more complicated and intriguing...I should sell it at Sotheby’s from a hi-res print...

Here is the document without the original layer set turned on (which I didn’t show earlier).

To add an inner stroke to make a ‘border/frame’ if your background layer is locked. First have ‘Thing’ drag it to the new layer icon and then drag the locked layer to the oscar the grouch bin

and then you can add a Stroke it to the west effect.

Here I’m grabbing the background layer from another tutorial .psd and Ctrl clicking to select it and then Ctrl C to copy it to memory. File: New and then Ctrl V to paste it onto a new document.

Go to Filter: Sketch: Chrome or filter gallery in CS and use the default settings.

Press OK and select the background layer and choose a color underlay fill from your swatches palette (or other method).

Now simply change the blending mode of the chrome layer to let the background underlay seep on through.

Today I am telling you about How to Create Photoshop design large trophy logo stock photo in photoshop.
[1] Take a new file of 350 pixels, 500 pixels, of resolution 72 dpi in the RGB mode.
[2] Now open a new layer fill that layer with #090909 then take the “Dodge Tool”  Highlight the following parts as shown below.

[3] Create the following selection with Rectangle Marquee Tool, then go to
Select>Modify>Feather selection by 2px.

[4] With the “Dodge Tool” Highlight the following parts as shown below.

[5] Create a new shape with the help of “Pen Tool” right click select make selection
fill that layer with #71766f.

[6] Now create the following selection with Rectangle Marquee Tool, then go to
Select>Modify>Feather selection by 2px.

[7] With the “Dodge Tool” Highlight the following parts as shown below.
Now “D” select.

[8] With the “Dodge Tool” Highlight the following parts as shown below.

[9] Create a new shape with Elliptical Marquee Tool fill that layer with #555851.

[10] Now create the following selection with Elliptical Marquee Tool now with the
“Dodge Tool” Highlight the following parts as shown below.

[11] Create a new shape with “Pen Tool” right click select make selection
open a new layer fill the selection with #676e5e.

[12] Take the Brush Tool set the brush size see in the next image.

[13] Now create a new layer make sure your foreground is set to #767d6d now create the Stroke with
Pen Tool right click select Stroke Path now select Brush click ok.

[14] Now duplicate that layer a few times and place it like me. Then select all stroke layers
press Cntl+E to merge down layers.

[15] Take the “Dodge Tool” & then Highlight the following parts
as shown below.

[16] Now select “Burn Tool”  now create the following Shading with the help of Burn Tool.

[17] Now select both layers and make the duplicate layer with the help of Cntl+J then press Cntl+T, right
click select Flip Vertical and place it like me.

[18] Create a new layer [this layer should below previous layer] and then create a new shape
with the help of Elliptical Marquee Tool, fill that layer with #31312f.

[19] Take the “Burn Tool” set the properties like this.

[20] Now create the following Shading with the help of Burn Tool.

[21] Take the “Dodge Tool” set the properties like this.

[22] Then Highlight the following parts as shown below.

[23] For this shape add the following layer styles.

[24] Create a new layer [this layer should below previous layer] and then create a
new shape with the help of “Pen Tool” right click select make selection fill that
layer with #35362e.

[25] Take the “Dodge Tool” & then Highlight the following parts
as shown below.

[26] Now select “Burn Tool”  then create the following Shading
with the help of Burn Tool.

[27] Take the Shape Tool select this one then create a shape take the Pen Tool right click select
make selection open a new layer fill that layer with #969a84.

[28] For this shape set the Opacity 33%.

How to create news paper page using photoshop?

This tutorial will show you how to create an image that will look like a scanned newspaper page.

Step 1. Create a new document, size 630x900 and fill it with it a light, warm gray (color code #e4e4e4).

Step 2. To make the final result make more realistic, it’s necessary to mimic the way you can see the writing on the back page on a real newspaper.

To achieve this effect, open an image of a newspaper page you can find on the Internet (I chose this one), go to Image-> Rotate Canvas -> Flip Canvas Horizontal and then copy/paste it over the new document you just created. Set its opacity to 5%, so that the writing is only a bit visible.

Step 3. Newspaper articles often contain pictures, so I opened this one and resized it to 35%, and I placed it on the left like this:

Step 4. To convert the image to black and white, the best method is to go to Image -> Adjustments -> Channel Mixer…tick Monochrome and leave all the other settings as default.

Step 5. In order to create the headlines, I used Century Old Style Std, Italic, size 40pt and 24pt respectively. You may use any other font that is very legible and simple.

Step 6. To create the subtitles, I used Century Old Style Std, Bold, size 18pt. I left some space between them and the picture, and the headlines, in order to achieve an elegant, uncluttered look.

Don’t worry if the text you’ve done until now is not properly aligned. You can easily fix that later.

Step 7. Now it’s time to create the content of the news article. You need to create a text box: using the Type Tool, click on the desired starting point of the text box and drag down to create a rectangle.

Though it’s not visible in the screenshot above, the text box doesn’t go all the way to the bottom of the page. I’ve left a blank edge on the bottom of the page, because we’re later going to add the date and day of the week there, just like on genuine newspapers.

Step 8. Paste some text of your choice into the text box you’ve created (my source was Wikipedia). The font I used isCentury Old Style Std, Regular, 14pt.

Notice that I’ve used a Sans Serif font. Because of their high legibility, most magazines and newspaper articles use Sans Serif fonts for the main body of text.

Step 9. Create a second text box as shown at step 7 and paste some text, using the font at step 8.

Step 10. The final step is to create a text box and add some text in the lower part of the page. I used the font Century Old Style Std, Regular, 12pt.

In order to verify and align the way the text and pictures fit on the page, go to View -> Show -> Grid. To change the position of a certain element, use the left and right arrow keys, or the Move Tool.

How to start Photoshop?

Press START --> RUN
Type "PHOTOSHOP" without quotes.
Now Photoshop opened successfully.
