Jamison from The Tremulance sent over a new remix of Example's single "Won't go quietly" a song that I loath and I cringe every time I hear it; however the remixes that have come out of it have been able to greatly improve the song. I'm including Juan MacLean remix that was released last year, because well it's Juan MacLean need I say more?

You might have noticed that on my best songs of the year post I omitted any of the Neon Indian's 09 masterpiece "Psychic Chasms", the reasons for this intentioned omission is because Neon Indian is in my opinion artist of the year 2009.

In a world where music air waves are saturated with garbage like Lady Gaga and Adam Lambert, it is always nice to know that true artists with innovative ideas and originality can actually swim afloat the layer of scum and antics record companies are trying to force feed us. Neon Indian Psychic Chasms did that this year, ranked #11 on the Billboard chart and featured into a zillion of blogs and programs, this band headed by criminal mastermind Alan Palomo has been a major player in the music in 09; if you don't believe me check out their repertoir.

The good people of Labrador sounds have just sent the new video of Little Big Adventure song "Happiest Times" The video captures a magic that I've not seen in a while, it honestly feels like a real indie video supposed to look like and I guess the fact that Little Big Adventure is a great indie artist helps this come together.

Well yesterday I got some remixes by some amazing artist that I've previously blogged about. The first remix comes Canada, with The Tremulance remix of Phoenix single "Fences" a constant beat remix that gives the song a new sound, yet it sounds like it was made that way. The second Remix is brought to us by Kid Adrift who made a Dub Step remix of Wolf Gang's "King and all of his man" now this is my favorite single of the year, so I was a bit more hesitant to post this track, but it grew on me so that is that. The last remix is comes by Biscope and the remix of Popskarr's single "Tonight"; now I posted about Popskarr a few days back so you should be aware of this amazing raising band.

I got a new single by electro duo Popskarr, the single is called "S.P.I.L.L.S." and its electro disco wave master piece, but its something that we've come to expect since Popskarr was conceived. As a bonus they've also sent us a dub remix of their song "Tonight" I'm not crazy about it, but who am I to judge.

Letting up Despite Great Faults its a California band that have just released to their self debuted album now available through iTunes. I just received the full album and I'm loving every single minute of it, it reminds me of the type of albums that they used to do a few years back, with a nice mix of synths with slow soft guitars and some instrumental tracks. The album is comparable to a mixture of M83 and Pinback and is bound to be one of my favorites of this winter.

I'm not a Band a few days ago released two new songs "Crazy" and "This is it". In case you haven't read previous post, I'm not a band is a Electronic duo from Germany that have been busy touring Europe and making beautiful Electro music. Their newest track "Crazy" combines the sexuality of Jana D's voice with the brilliance of multi talented Stephan Joung who shows his brilliance on the track "This is it" where he combines the classical violin with electronic beats, combining it into electronic beats.
