So many times I have seen it from a distance but never went close. Today I don't know why I unintentionally turned my self towards it as some strong spiritual power was calling me towards itself.:-) & captured my attention, when I reached it, I was totally amazed with its beauty and soon I found a stone board which was beautifully written and was giving the impact of a strong history of the Giant beauty. Then I came to know that It was not just a tree but a 450 years old one. When I was standing beneath its huge branches I was feeling great!! This tree has enjoyed 450 years of life and still living a healthy life. It has observe a long history and must had seen a large number of legends and great historical ups and downs from the same place where it is standing with great pride. For me It is not just a tree but a witness of so many historical events. I also captured a glimpse of one of the greatest natural assets in Pakistan. Have a look on the giant whose name is "Peepal ka darakht".!! :-)

“Dengue Fever" : Prevention is better than cure. Pakistan

The dengue fever outbreak in Pakistan has officially become an epidemic, reports the International News Network. Hundreds of people have died of the disease and more than 8000 people have been infected. Dengue fever is an infectious disease transmitted to humans through the bite of a mosquito carrying the virus. Characteristics of the disease include fever, severe headache, muscular and joint pains, and rash. The disease is non-fatal, reports The Nation.

Poor hygiene is the most common cause for the spread of the disease, but heavy rainfall is providing a breeding ground for the mosquitoes, Doctors advised that dengue fever affected patients should ensure the maximum use of boiled water, besides, using honey in normally hot water. The common use of fruit like oranges, guava, apple and Kalwanji and black pepper could also help prevent the dengue fever, especially in growing children.

This information is about Dengue fever for my friends and all the people around who are infected or not because it is better to stop something bad happening than it is to deal with it after it has happened as we all know very well that prevention is better than cure. If you think that i am doing right please move it forward as it is an ongoing charity (Sadqa-e-Jaria).

Dengue Fever Treatment and Management

Dengue fever is usually a self-limited illness, and only supportive care is required. Acetaminophen may be used to treat patients with symptomatic fever. Aspirin, nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs), and corticosteroids should be avoided.

Patients with known or suspected dengue fever should have their platelet count and hematocrit measured daily from the third day of illness until 1-2 days after defervescence. Patients with a rising hematocrit level or falling platelet count should have intravascular volume deficits replaced. Patients who improve can continue to be monitored in an outpatient setting. Patients who do not improve should be admitted to the hospital for continued hydration.

Patients who develop signs of dengue hemorrhagic fever warrant closer observation. Patients who develop signs of dehydration, such as tachycardia, prolonged capillary refill time, cool or mottled skin, diminished pulse amplitude, altered mental status, decreased urine output, rise in hematocrit levels, narrowed pulse pressure, or hypotension, require admission for intravenous fluid administration.

Successful management of severe dengue requires careful attention to fluid management and proactive treatment of hemorrhage. Intravascular volume deficits should be corrected with isotonic fluids such as Ringers lactate solution. Boluses of 10-20 mL/kg should be given over 20 minutes and may be repeated. If this fails to correct the deficit, the hematocrit value should be determined, and, if it is rising, limited clinical information suggests that a plasma expander may be administered. Starch, dextran 40, or albumin 5% at a dose of 10-20 mL/kg may be used. One recent study has suggested that starch may be preferable because of hypersensitivity reactions to dextran.If the patient does not improve after this, blood loss should be considered. Patients with internal or gastrointestinal bleeding may require transfusion. Patients with coagulopathy may require fresh frozen plasma.

After patients with dehydration are stabilized, they usually require intravenous fluids for no more than 24-48 hours. Intravenous fluids should be stopped when the hematocrit level falls below 40% and adequate intravascular volume is present. At this time, patients reabsorb extravasated fluid and are at risk for volume overload if intravenous fluids are continued. Do not interpret a falling hematocrit value in a clinically improving patient as a sign of internal bleeding.

Platelet and fresh frozen plasma transfusions may be required to control severe bleeding. A recent case report demonstrated good improvement following intravenous anti-D globulin administration in two patients. The authors proposed that, similarly to nondengue forms of immune thrombocytopenic purpura, intravenous anti-D produces Fcγ receptor blockade to raise platelet counts.

Patients who are resuscitated from shock rapidly recover. Patients with dengue hemorrhagic fever or dengue shock syndrome may be discharged from the hospital when they meet the following criteria:

Afebrile for 24 hours without antipyretics
Good appetite, clinically improved condition
Adequate urine output
Stable hematocrit level
At least 48 hours since recovery from shock
Absence of respiratory distress
Platelet count greater than 50,000 cells/μL

'Pakistan Defence Day'

September 6th is a red letter day in the history of Pakistan when our armed forces with the solid support of the people exhibited extraordinary courage in grave threats to the country as on this day in 1965, the armed forces successfully defended the motherland against the invasion of Indian Army without any formal declaration of war. 6th September is marked as the 'Defence Day' of Pakistan.

46th Defence day celebrations across the country with renewed pledge, commitment and resolve to defend the ideological and geographical boundaries of the country from any aggression in line with the spirit and unity exhibited by the whole nation by standing shoulder to shoulder with defenders of the motherland. Today every year we pay homage to our brave martyred and courage of our soldiers who defended country heroically.

Well, one day i was on my way to Daman-e-Koh, (A picnic spot at Margallag hills) i found this tree near a road side khoka or refreshment center, first when i sew this tree, it was looking like other normal trees, but when i gave it a little more attention i found some thing strange in it. that's why i captured some pictures and now sharing with you, hope you will find it too what i saw in that tree!!

If even then you don't find it, see the image below, it is ALLAH is Arabic, at that moment this particular ayat came in my mind "We will show them Our signs in all the regions of the earth and in their own souls, until they clearly see that this is the truth ..." (Surah Fussilat, 41:53)

Pakistan's communications satellite PAKSAT-1R launched (Photos & Video)

A Long March-3B carrier rocket carrying the communications satellite PAKSAT-1R blasts off at 0:15 a.m. Friday from the Xichang Satellite Launch Center China's Sichuan province. PAKSAT-1R will provide a range of services, including broadband Internet, telecom and broadcasting, covering some regions of Europe, South Asia, the Middle East, and the eastern Africa.

Foreign Secretary Pakistan said "The successful launch is yet another shining illustration of the time-tested friendship between Pakistan and China and has ushered in a new era of cooperation in space technology between the two countries".

Chairman Pakistan Space and Upper Atmosphere Research Commission (SUPARCO) in an interview termed the launch as a "historic event" as it is for the first time that a commercial, fully capable communication satellite has been launched in which scientists and engineers of SUPARCO have worked very closely with the Chinese in all stages of its design and development.

The launch came ahead of Pakistan's 64th Independence Day on August 14 and coincided with the celebration of the 60th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two countries.

Rebuilding Pakistan, One year on!

One year on, thousands of families still need support to rebuild their lives.

It’s been a year now since the destructive floods of July-2010 that caused extraordinary damage, displacing uncountable people and animals but it also gave us real life lessons about how to fight a catastrophe much bigger than your strength.

A year after monsoon floods in Pakistan, The United Nations today pledged its continued assistance to the people of Pakistan as they rebuild their lives one year after the country faced devastating floods " the largest natural disaster in its history.

More than 20 million people were affected by the floods that began in late July 2010, submerging almost one-fifth of the country under water. The disaster claimed 2,000 lives and destroyed 1.6 million homes across the country.

The lives of millions of people were changed in a matter of days and there were numerous challenges for those who survived the disaster, including loss of shelter, crops and livelihoods. Govt. of Pakistan, UN agencies and their partners provided emergency aid in the aftermath of the floods and have been continuing to help families get back on their feet.

"We certainly need to do more. We certainly need to draw lessons" we certainly need to keep up the momentum to continue to deliver the promises we made one year ago to our brothers and sisters in Pakistan," The Special Envoy of the Secretary-General for Assistance to Pakistan, Rauf Engin Soysal, and he admired the "resilience, strength and courage" of the Pakistani people, and acknowledged the hard work and continued commitment of the country"s authorities in the post-flood response.

Death anniversary of Madir-e-millat observed

Mader-e Millat Motharma Fatima Jinnah

(July 31, 1893 — July 9, 1967)

Fatima Jinnah was the younger sister of Quaid -e- Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah, the Founder of Pakistan. She is commonly known in Pakistan as Khatun-e Pakistan (Lady of Pakistan) and Mader-e Millat (Mother of the Nation) She was born in Karachi, She was an active political figure in the Pakistan movement and the primary organiser of the All India Muslim Women Students Federation. After the formation of Pakistan and the death of her brother, she remained an active member of the nation's politics. She continued to work for the welfare of the Pakistani people until she died in Karachi on July 9, 1967.

1965 - Madar-i-Millat's Message to the Nation.

"Let us sink all our differences and stand united together under the same banner under which we truly achieved Pakistan and let us demonstrate once again that we can, united, face all dangers in the cause of glory of Pakistan, the glory that the Quaid-i-Azam envisaged for Pakistan."

The journey from Earth to Heaven "Shab-e-Mairaj" Mubarak

"It is narrated on the authority of Abdullah bin masood that when the Messenger of Allah (may peace be upon him) was taken for the Night journey, he was taken to Sidrat-ul-Muntaha, which is situated on the sixth heaven, where terminates everything that ascends from the earth and is held there, and where terminates every- thing that descends from above it and is held there The Messenger of Allah (may peace be upon him) was given three (things): he was given five prayers, be was given the concluding verses of Sura al-Baqara, and remission of serious Sins for those among his Ummah who associate not anything with Allah" ~ Sahih Muslim, Book # 001, Hadith # 329

Happy Shab-e-Maraj,The night of blessings, The night of the beautiful journey of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH). Shab-e-Miraj means the night of Ascent. It is the blessed night when the Holy Prophet of Islam was spiritually transported to heaven and he reached a high stage of nearness to God Almighty which is beyond ordinary human comprehension. The Ascent took place on 27th day or Rajab, 2 years before Hijra. On the way the Holy Prophet, peace be upon him, met Hazrat Adam (Adam), Hazrat Ibrahim (Abraham) , Hazrat Moosa (Moses), Hazrat Eesa (Jesus) and some other Prophets. The purpose of the Ascent was to confirm the high status of the Prophet of Islam, a position which all Muslims believe, is impossible to attain by any other human being. It is related that even Hazrat Jibrael A.S (Gabriel), the Angel who was accompanying the Holy Prophet remarked at one stage, 'I am forced to stop here. I cannot go any further, but you O Messenger of peace and friend of the Master of the worlds, continue your glorious ascent and The Holy Prophet went to meet Allah Almighty alone.

Hazrat Imam Ahmed Raza Khan Barelvi wrote the following Qasida-e-Mairaj to pay tribute to the Holy Prophet and he also sketches the verses in such a way that the whole journey of Mairaj is summarized in them. I hope when you'll read it spirituality will touch your soul and you'll feel so contented and blessed.

When the supreme Prophet went to his journey to the Divine Throne of Allah,

There were very special arrangements made to welcome the unique guest from Arabia’

It was springtime; there were echoes of salutary greeting in the dales;

Then Angels and the skies were singing happy songs in their own way like the nightingales.

On the Heavens above and the earth below there was festive celebration;

The dazzling lights came down smiling and the fragrant perfumes went up on this occasion.

The light emitted by his radiant face created a moonlight near Allah’s throne;

The night was resplendently lit through a multitude of mirrors and brightly shone.

The Kaaba dressed herself most immaculately to welcome her bridegroom with pride;

The black stone looked like a beautiful mole on her charming body’s side.

With bashful looks the niche lowered her upright head in sheer delight;

The covering black curtain gracefully moved, saturated with the Divine Light,

The clouds spontaneously advanced and the hearts engaged in a peacock dance;

To honour the Prophet in a creative stance the Kabaa gazed at him in a lyrical trance.

The golden ornaments of Meezaab gently moved towards the ear from her forehead;

When it drizzled, the raindrops gathered like pearls on Hateem’s welcoming bed.

The bride’s body-fragrance intoxicated the surrounding breeze and her own garment;

When the perfumed curtain furled, the gazelles rushed to store its unique scent.

The happy hills smiled and their elegant tops stood out in space;

Like a maiden’s head-scarf the shoots of green grass rhythmically moved with grace.

The fresh-looking and well-clad rivers ran through the well-trimmed bowers;

It was a rare visual feast of stormy waves, rushing waterfalls and bubbling showers.

The old white-floor of moonlight was removed as it was not satin-free;

The new green-floor consisted of gardens and flowers as far as one could see.

More precious to us than our lives! Where is the Blessed Prophet’s blessed pathway,

On which our humble hearts, the heavenly damsels and wings of the angels lay.

The moment was indescribably exciting, when the angels, pure and wise,

Gathered round him and dressed him as the bridegroom of Paradise.

The light emitted by his face was distributed among the beggars with generosity.

The moon and the sun begged most eagerly for this bright charity.

The same luminous water still shining in their bright path,

Which the stars had gathered in their cups from his overflowing bath.

With the surplus sole-washed water Paradise was painted bright,

Those who wore his used-clothes became flowers, of the garden of light.

The sun revealed the news that Allah Almighty’s beloved Messenger

Was soon expected to come back after meeting his Creator.

The wedding crown of Allah’s light was on his head amidst a blissful prayer;

The Angels stood on both sides of his way to present a salute of honour.

Had we been there, we would have sought for some charity;

How could that happen, when we were destined to live this life of poverty?

He had hardly sat on the saddle that the journey of salvation ended at a glance;

The salvation itself congratulated him and the sins engaged themselves in a dance.

It is understandable why the Prophet’s horse startled like a frightened deer;

The rays of light dazzled his eyes and the lightning flashed too near.

The clouds gave alms to the beggars and made sure there was enough room;

The angels held the reigns respectfully and welcomed the bridegroom.

The dust of the luminous path rose up like the clouds of light;

The space overflowed with rain and the whole way was exceptionally bright.

0 moon! You should have brought some dust from the Prophet’s way;

You would have got rid of your spots by rubbing it on them for a day.

The hoff-prints of the ‘Buraq’ filled the entire way with flowers;

In no time all over the place there were fragment orchards and bowers.

The divine wisdom of ‘Aqsa’ prayer was to unfold the secret of first and last;

All the Prophets prayed behind him, though they had actually lived in the past.

The dignity of his arrival brightened up everything immaculately;

The stars, the skies, the cups and the containers cleaned smartly.

When he advanced, his unveiled sun-like face shone with glamour;

The sky felt over-awed and the stars became dimmer and dimmer.

The overflowing light filled the path with luminous water;

The stars slipped time and again and fell at the feet of Allah’s messenger.

The ocean of Unity surged forward and washed sands of Diversity;

Forget the dunes of the sky, just two bubbles were ‘Allah’s Arch and Kursi’

His sun-like merciful face eclipsed the stars that shine;

The moonlight and starlight looked like shadows in his sunshine.

When the unique bridegroom advanced even the lote tree failed to hold him back;

In the wink of an eye he went beyond this and that range of the track.

The angels felt that a glimpse had flashed through their sight and mind;

The bridegroom went far ahead but his companions were left behind.

Gabriel’s wings got tired and he could not accompany the divine guest;

The Prophet’s stirrup slipped out of his hands though he tried to hold it to his best.

He, who reflected on the Prophet’s speed suddenly found his mind aflame;

All the trees in the woods of intellect started burning with shame.

The birth of intellect flying ahead of the Prophet ended in a miserable plight;

They could not go beyond the lote tree in their insurmountable flight.

The strong-winged birds of superstition flew but soon lost their breath;

They sustained a fatal blow on their chests and fell down bleeding to death.

At the moment of Allah’s throne heard the angels raising a salutary uproar;

How nice to welcome back the same auspicious feet, which graced us before.

On hearing this, the devotee exclaimed, “Where is my master?

How lucky that my eyes will again kiss the soles of Allah’s Messenger!”

Allah’s throne knelt down to welcome, the angels fell again into a prostration’

It rubbed his eyes on his feet; they showed their utmost veneration.

Such a bright light shone that all the candles flickered;

The lamps felt ashamed when the ‘sun’ itself appeared.

In this atmosphere the Messenger of Mercy came respectfully to say;

“Those ways are open for you today, which were closed for Moses one day.”

“Move forward, O Muhammed! [Peace Be Upon Him ] Come nearer, O Ahmed, My beloved.”

What a lovely call it was and what a joyful atmosphere it created!

“O Allah, all praise be to You; You are undoubtedly carefree;

Once Moses insisted to see you; here You became anxious to see.”

Let intellect bow its head, because it has traveled beyond imagination;

Direction itself is baffled and it cannot dare to imagine his destination.

Who could answer where or when? Who could tell us what or how;

There was neither any companion nor any milestone between them and now.

Allah greatly encouraged him though his pace was humbly slow;

Grandeur checked him but Grace inspired him steadily to go.

He advanced hesitantly with feelings of respect and humility;

Allah led him on this endless journey with an exceptional agility.

The Prophet’s motion was nominal; it was all done by divine will;

Whenever he slowed down, Allah commanded him to come nearer still.

At last a barge emerged from the ocean of His Personality;

It took him near Allah’s lap and untied the anchor of morality.

Who could see this ocean’s shore? It was all speed and surprise;

He leapt like sight and became hidden from his own eyes.

When the secrets of Nearness were unveiled, who knows what the Reality was?

There was no room for otherliness; don’t say he wasn’t; he really was.

The garden so blossomed that the buds and the roses looked very charming

The unblown and the fully-blown flowers became equally inviting.

To differentiate between the circumference and the centre was difficult;

The arches bowed and the circles felt giddy as a result.

Millions of veils disappeared revealing endless oceans of luminosity;

It was strange Union of Lights which symbolised diversity in Unity.

The waves showed their parched tongues and wriggled in search of water;

The whirlpool fainted with thirst and its eye stared farther and farther.

He is the First and the Last; He lives in the Absence and the Presence;

His own hidden light went to see His own visible existence.

O dots on the arch of probability! Why do you guess the first and last?

Ask the track of the circumference, where did the process begin in the past?

Here Allah gave His beloved Messenger a gift of formal and ritual prayers,

He also honoured him with garlands of durood, and salaam’s regal flowers.

The tongue was anxious to speak and the ear was eagerly to go very near;

Mysteriously and silently he said what he wanted to say and heard what he wanted to hear.

Then the distinguished guest was taken to Paradise soon;

The stars of Paradise felt honoured to see the glory of their Arabian moon.

The Arabian moon was accorded a glorious welcome joyfully;

All the heavenly flowers became daffodils and the chandeliers shone more brightly.

The spirit of ecstasy edged him on but the sense of humility checked him modestly;

A real conflict of emotions: “To advance or just to stay there reverently.”

Allah’s omnipotence be praised! His truthful moon shone at millions of stations on his way;

Even when he returned home by dawn before the starlight faded away.

Take pity on Raza, O our Intercessor and Allah’s Messenger of Mercy!

Grant him a small share from the gifts distributed during the Meraj journey.

My mission is to praise the Prophet; my aim is to achieve his pleasure;

The poetic rhymes and refrains have no value; Mustafa’s (PBUH) Love is my true treasure.

In the Surah al-Isra (Surah 17 - also known as Bani Isra'il), it is mentioned: Glory be to Him Who made His servant (Prophet Muhammad) to go on a night from the Sacred Mosque (Masjid al-Haram) to the Farthest Mosque (Masjid al-Aqsa) of which We have blessed the precincts, so that We may show to him some of Our signs; surely He is the Hearing, the Seeing. (Qur'an, 17:1)

The legend Moin Akhtar, who was famous for his versatile acting,

died on April 22, 2011 from a heart attack at the age of 61.

An average Moin Akhtar fan cannot easily explain the wellsprings of his art. It seems that it comes from within. Pride of Performance Moin Akhtar was a role model for anyone who aspires to become an entertainer. He was great in each and every work he done, A great artist, comedian, impersonator, host, Pakistani movie, drama, TV and theater actor , writer, singer, director and producer. He was an institution in one personality, a God gifted talented man with every thing which we can find in different individuals of his field. His eyes always smiled with the joy of today, the promise of tomorrow, Once He said: 'I have confidence in my own abilities.' He was the most entertaining and decent person on television i have ever seen. Before his television debut he had been working for karachi radio and later on stage, television and the silver screen. His famous stage plays include “Bachao Moin Akhtar”(Save Moin Akhtar) and “Excuse Me Baba”, and his famous television plays include “Half Plate”, “Sach Much”, "Bandar road se Kemari" and “Rozi”. His parody in English, Urdu, Sindhi, Bengali, Punjabi, Memon, Pushto, Gujrati and many other dialects distinguish him from all other entertainers.

Journey of Moin Akhtar starts with a variety show was held in Karachi on September 6, 1966, on defense day of Pakistan. A skinny youth by the name of Moin Akhtar stepped up on the stage and entertained the audience with sound effects, he also copied the voice and gestures of various Pakistani luminaries, public who were all wearing smiles chanted: 'Once more, once more". People felt power in that boy's voice. He acted with confidence. There was a strange, enchanting way he conducted himself. You are not just a man but you have spread Smiles on so many faces that are shredding tears today for their legendry Moin AKhtar who is eternal for his fans. You'll always live in our hearts. Today we are all witnessing the 73rd death Anniversary of Our great poet and the first man to dream Pakistan Doctor Allama Muhammad Iqbal. The message of Iqbal is a way of prosperity for any nation but unfortunately the path we followed after the establishment of Pakistan is against the theory of Iqbal. The last 9 years of dictatorship is the proof of our non Iqbal thinking. In such situation how we can justify with the thought of "Khudi" into our nation's common practice? The problems and situation of so called civilization in the 21st century is opening the doors towards the enlightened message of the great Thinker who always wanted the youth not to draw a line between religion and civilization, He always taught us that our youth has the power and strength to bright the whole nation's future, They have the power of their beautiful religion which has opened the larger than life path for success and prosperity for them. He always insisted that the youth is the backbone of any country's prosperity. The educated, Well developed, Self respected, Courage s, Enthusiastic youth who moves with the light of Quranic teachings.

In every poem of Iqbal there is a message of Positive thinking, Motivation, Mutual understandings and Khudi that is Self confidence. It is still not too late if we start to follow his teachings as a nation rather just making tributes and speech competitions on his name. We have to implement his teachings in the whole system and we would be a different nation after some time.

Soccer, Tennis, Squash, Hockey are the new phenomenal sports and over and above The Cricket, when introduced, was being called as a "game of gentle man" normally played in Europe, specially in England, New Zealand and Australia, later on spread in Asia and now a days it become the dream of the world.

Step in my time machine fasten your belts… Kindly see the window at your left, it is jam pack stadium, Can you catch it? It is Mohali, the venue for the big game, 2nd Semi-Final, "The Master Blaster Match" in the history of cricket specially for Pakistan and India the neighboring countries. Since the QFs there is a pin drop silence and every body is waiting for the date which is the 30th March, The May Day! "Kon banayega 30 (tees) March Khan". The people living in this part of the world could hardly breathe & every body is waiting for the Big Match. In my opinion it is not the War of lords, it is a test in between the teams of Asian Cricketing giants. Keeping in view the expertise of Pakistani boys, they have already proved in the previous matches, slow starters but the constant path finders, the critics and pen holders are indicating that although Pakistan is not hot favorite even then they are moving confidently & steadily towards the target. Recently they outclassed the west Indies in every department of game, If we look at a glance on the combination of the Semi Final team I will very strongly second the views of the voices coming from all along the corners that the strong Golden hand of Shoaib Akhter should be taken as he can still manage to shake the confidence of opposition, while coming to the crease from the run-up start Can demoralize the one being the fastest one of the Cricketing world. On the other hand if he can carry at least half of the spell with the 99.99% fitness, he may be a result oriented & it would be a respectable farewell to him, A hero should be left as a hero.

Keeping in view the stories heard about Mohali's wicket which may favor the speed thus the Pakistani fast bowlers may create some thing with a difference and this opinion of mine is also recommended when we read and heard that the grass from the Mohali wicket has very strangely disappeared and gone when it was kept under observation and checked on 29th March, This become an echo and changed into the talk of the town and the most reputed press persons, sports men and media people were pointed out this very particular mishap, A mellafied activity to escape from the attack of Pakistani fast bowling. The fast bowling department of Pakistan say e.g Umar Gul, Shoaib Akhter and others can create a history to be supported by the battery of the spinners. The roads of Pakistan, The trains of Pakistan , The planes of Pakistan are going to be a discussion table every where Cricket and Pakistan, Pakistan and Cricket , Shahid Afridi, Younas Khan, Mohali stadium , We will Win , Pakistan must have to win ,and a lot of encouraging sentences and sentiments are warming up going to a gradual high temperature. The World Cup green t-shirts, The cakes are being baked, The flags, The buntings, The Caps, The bats are dancing every where, The vehicles, The cars, The buses, The bikes are being decorated in every nook and corner of the country, sweet home land Pakistan and Every where, Every body is doing nothing but Shouting Afridi you have to win, Team Pakistan will win the World cup, Get India out of the tournament, Throw them off, Bounce them out & a lot. Are being continuously and repeatedly becoming an echo from Kimari to Karakoram.

This very particular and no doubt the biggest game of the Cricket, The semi final of The World Cup 2011 is become a volcanic reactionary event due to the legendary rivals are standing face to face. If we look into the commerce of this sub continent a boom is felt in the Economical progress. Tickets, Stickers, Pamphlets, Banners, Commercials, Advertisements whether desktop or electronic media are floating every where. The Pakistan Radio and Television are high lighting the incoming Semi Final as a visit to winning imaginations. Wow the unbeatable Australia are beaten by Green boys! What a treat for the nation and after this fantastic win Pakistan is at the top level of Group "A" in the Point table. After this incredible match i think it would not be right if we won't pay a Tribute to our Heroes and i also have a pictorial match summary to my friends to see.

Before the starting of yesterday's match i was not expecting by the way no body was expecting a game like that but Pakistan has once again proved to be the most unpredictable team. Aussies are no more unbeatable after this encounter. The green boys once again showed their strength and proved that they could be very dangerous and can face any team when they play as a team to win. It was no doubt a great match and very well played in all departments by Pakistan.

Let us have a look on the history, The kangaroos were unbeatable in World cups since 1999. They were also been beaten by Pakistan at the venue of Leads on March 23,1999 and after that they remains unbeatable since the day when the history repeats it self at Colombo on March 18, 2011 and isn't it a magnificent thing to say that, Yes Pakistan halts Australia with 4 wicket win, takes top spot! Experts all around the world was whispering that Pakistan will be the 35th unfortunate team whom Australia will hit hard but our boys proved their strength of unity and they must never forget that unity is their power and if they always be united no body can snatch victory from their hands.

Rabi'ul-Awwal is the most significant month in the Islamic history, because humanity has been blessed in this month by the birth of the Holy Prophet Muhammad, (Sall-Allahu alayhi wa sallam.) Before the birth of the Holy Prophet, Sall-Allahu alayhi wa sallam, not only the Arabian peninsula, but also the so-called civilized nations of Rome and Persia were drowned in the darkness of ignorance, superstitions, oppression and unrest. The Holy Prophet, Sall-Allahu alayhi wa sallam, came with the eternal truth of Tawhid (Oneness of Allah), the only faith which provides a firm basis for the real concepts of knowledge, equity and peace. It was this faith which delivered humanity from ignorance and superstitions and spread the light of true knowledge all over the world.

Muhammad (s.a.w) was born in Macca on 12th Rabi'-ul-Awwal to bring the Message of God to the world. Thus, the prayer of Hazrat Ibrahim (a.s) while constructing the Ka'bah was granted:

Lord! And raise a Messenger from among them who shall recite to them Thine verses, and teach them the Book and the wisdom, and purify them, indeed Thou art the Mighty, the Wise (Quran, 2:129).

And the tidings of Christ came true:-

O Children of Israel! Surely, I am the messenger of Allah to you, verifying that which is before me of the Torah and giving the good news of a Messenger who will come after me whose name will be Ahmed. (Quran, 61:6)

From my childhood till now i have heard and read so many times that a friend in need is a friend indeed and also experienced in the real life that when ever i need any kind of help my friends were there before any one else & i never found a problem as a problem even if it is a giant one. but in the last couple of weeks i experienced this saying in my Life when my virtual friends who know me only as the person at the other side of the screen support and help me and their heartily prayers give me Extra ordinary courage to face things in a better way.Yes I am talking about the On-line community regardless of their countries, regardless of their beliefs They are all one when it requires specially talking about some very kind people whom i need to say Thank with the bottom of my Heart today. Actually some days before the 24th of January my father was not feeling well and then we came to know that he has to go through a surgery to get rid of the problem, i always found my father as a great strength & big support, but at that time when he was afraid of being operated and i had to play my role to support him and make him feel as i am with him in all the procedures to be done ahead. I don't think i could be able to handle the situation so well without some people's support who are here & far away, even then proved to be a part of my life. I want to pay my heartily gratitude to them as they let me understand the real meaning of the above mentioned quote. It doesn't mean that a friend must have to help you financially or with his presence physically but a friend can help you by strengthen you by their prayers, Support and kind words of being with you. They can high up your moral, they can enhance your ability and can give you confidence of handling situations that are hard enough to you to handle.

I am Thankful to my ALLAH that he has given me not a few but so many of friends to whom i can call my real friends indeed, even when they are far away but They join their hands for prayers when i need them the most and they strengthen my Faith, my power and give me courage to face the situation in a more better way. I am Thank full to Twitter Friends all over the world. My gratitude's for all those who even pray once for me. I love you all.Thank you so much for your Prayers, Love , Support & Most of all your Friendship :-) & also Thankful to those invisible hands who pray but did not mention me Thanks for being there.

The beauty of the green heaven is covered with Fog and Its a good time to enjoy the Hot Coffee or a nice camp fire. The nature has showered all his blessings over the Capital city. The foggy look of the city where as create a bit problems for the drivers to see the traffic but even then every one is enjoying these lovely days of Cloudy & Mystic Winter. 3rd martyrdom anniversary of "Daughter of the East"

Today on 27 December 2007, Benazir Bhutto was killed while leaving a campaign rally for the PPP at Liaquat National Bagh, RawalPindi, where she had given a spirited address to party supporters in the run-up to the January 2008 parliamentary elections. After entering her bulletproof vehicle, BB stood up through its sunroof to wave to the crowds. At this point, a gunman fired shots at her and subsequently explosives were detonated near the vehicle killing approximately 20 people. Mohtarma was critically wounded and was rushed to Rawalpindi General Hospital. She was taken into surgery and pronounced dead. It was the most tragic and dreadful evening in the history of Pakistan, in the death of Benazir Bhutto, the world has lost an extremely talented woman of valor.

A large number of admirers and supporters of former prime minister and former chairperson Pakistan People'sParty (PPP) Benazir Bhutto continued to pour-in to pay homage to the late leader who became the first woman leader of a Muslim nation in modern history.

Father of the Nation Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah

Pakistan is celebrating the 134th birth anniversary of Father of the nation Quaid-e-Azam Mohammad Ali Jinnah with national spirit and enthusiasm today.

National flag had been hoisted at all government buildings throughout the country. The day was dawned with special prayers in mosques for the soul of the great leader Quaid-e-Azam Mohammad Ali Jinnah and prosperity and development of the country.

The representatives of three services (Army, Navy and Air Force) and people from all sections of the society laid floral wreaths on behalf of their respective services at the mausoleum of the Quaid in Karachi. Political, social, cultural and educational organizations had chalked out programmes to mark the occasion in a befitting manner.

The Great Leader Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah

People celebrate birthday anniversaries of the Fathers of their nations not merely by pompous display of festivities but by strictly following the precepts and guidelines left by their founding fathers in letter and spirit.

Quaid e Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah whose word was law for his followers. But he never acted like a dictator. He derived his power from the people to whom he always considered himself accountable. At a time he was offered life presidentship of the All India Muslim League. He refused by saying that he would like to come before the Muslim League Council every year and get himself elected its president on the strength of his performance.

Mr. Jinnah had a firm faith in the democratic system of Government and throughout his life he continued to adhere scrupulousy to the democratic norms. Muslim League activist had assembled at a Muslim League General Council meeting under his presidentship. He invited participants to express their views. The councillors said “You are our leaders, you order and we-will follow.” The Quaid said what was fun of assembling people from every nook and comer of the country. If he was to order, he would have issued a statement in the press.

It was through the democratic process that he was able to spearhead the Muslim freedom movement. This was one of the biggest mass movement in the history of All India Muslim League. Later as Governor-General of Pakistan he acted strictly in accordance with, universally accepted rules of business. Such was his stature and so commanding was his hold over the Muslim rank and life that an ordinary man would have turned autocratic in attitude and dealings but not so the Quaid. He was a constitutionalist.

When he was Governor-General Pakistan Government placed an order for purchase of an aeroplane for his travelling. The plane construction company suggested that certain additional accessories would enable the Governor-General to work while flying. The Governor staff accepted the proposal. When the file went to the Finance Ministry the Finance Minister observed that prior approval should have been sought from his Ministry. The Government had no funds for the additional accessories. The Quaid agreed with the Finance Minister and cancelled the order.

Quaid would not deviate from the path of constitutional procedure even if it meant a delay in the achievement of his goal. He was in a position to take decision on his own but he never did so and always sought the approval of the Muslim League Working Committee. On the eve of independence British Viceroy sought an instant reply and threatened that otherwise he would not get Pakistan. The Quaid replied that he would answer only after the concurrence of the Muslim League Working Committee. Pakistan was achieved through the democratic process and it can progress only by pursuing the path of democracy.

Principle on which the Quaid laid great emphasis in his practice as well in pronouncements was that of democracy. Quaid-i-Azam in his presidential address at the session of the All India Muslim League in Delhi on April 24, 1943 envisioned the Government of Pakistan in the words:

“ I have no doubt in my mind, that a large body of us visualise Pakistan as the people’s Government. Either you seize it by force or get it by agreement. You will elect your representatives to the constitution making body. You may not know how to use it This would be your fault. But I am sure, democracy is in our blood, It is in our marrow. Only centuries of adverse circumstances have made the circulation of that blood cold. It has got frozen and your arteries are not fimctioning. But thank God, the blood arculating again. Thanks to the Muslim League’s effort. It will be a people’s Government.”

For the Quaid, democracy and Supremacy of people’s will was the paramount political philosophy. It was through democratic process that Quaid-i-Azam guided the Pakistan movement and rallied 90 million Muslims of the sub-continent round the motto of “Unity, Faith and Discipline.” It was the democratic and dynamic leadership of the Quaid, that a large number of Muslims were united under one banner and at his beck and call. At a public meeting on March 21, 1948, the Quaid said:

“The Government can only have for its aim one objective-how to serve people, how to devise ways and means of their welfare, for their betterment What other object can the Government have and remember now, it is in your hands to put the Government in power. But you should not do it by mob methods. You have the power. You must learn the art to use it. Constitutionally it is in your hands to upset our Government and put other Government in power if you are dissatisfied to such an extent.”

Quaid-e-Azam was a great exponent of social justice. In this speech at Delhi, about capitalism and vicious designs of landlords who flourished at the expense of the common man, he said:

“Here I should like to give a warning to land lords and capitalists who flourished at our expense by a system which is so wicked, which is so vicious and which makes them selfish,, that it is ‘difficult to reason with them. The exploitation of masses have gone into their blood. They have forgotten the lesson of Islam. Greed and selfishness have overpowered ‘them. A lot of mischief is created. Is going to bit an Islamic State? Is it not a cause of begging a question? Is it not a case of passing vote of censure on yourself? The constitution of the government will be what the people will decide.”

Quaid was all for welfare of the masses. In his address to the Constituent Assembly at Karachi on August 11, 1947 he said:

“Now I want to make this State of Pakistan happy and prosperous and we should wholly and solely concentrate on the well-being of the people and specially of the masses and the poor.”

After the establishment of Pakistan, the Quaid refused to continue as the President of the Muslim League because as, the head of State he could not function as the head of a political party. Combining the two offices in one person, he considered it was violation of the democratic principles.

The Quaid was a great champion of the freedom of the press and advocate of civil liberties. He always played the game of politics according to the established rules of democracy. He was indeed democracy personified.

Quaid could give to his countrymen a constitution on his own which would have been accepted without any hesitation but he left it to the elected representatives of the people of Pakistan to frame their own constitution. It was Quaid-i-Azam’s democratic temperament which did not like to dictate the Constitution he would have liked.

In a broadcast talk to the people of the United States of America in February, 1948, the Quaid said: “The constitution of Pakistan has yet to be Framed by the Pakistan’s constituent Assembly. I do not know what the ultimate shape of the constitution is going to be, but I am sure it win be a democratic constitution embodying the essential principle of Islam, as Islam and its idealism has taught us democracy.” In February, 1948, at the Sibbi Darbar, Quaid-i-Azam reiterated his belief that our salvation lies in following the golden conduct set before us by our great law giver the Holy Prophet of Islam (SAW). Let us lay the foundation of our democracy on the basis of Islamic ideals and principles. The breakup of East Pakistan in 1971 was the result of deviating from the democratic path. The absence of democracy had led to widespread sense of alienation among the very people who had struggled so hard for the creation of Pakistan.

Political instability started right after the early death of the Quaid. May be if he had survived for a few more years, Pakistan would be more politically strong and stable in the democratic form of government.

BIOGRAPHICAL SKETCH OF THE QUAID

Quaid-e-Azam, Muhammad Ali Jinnah was born on 25th December 1876 at Vazeer Mansion Karachi, was the first of seven children of Jinnahbhai, a prosperous merchant. After being taught at home, Jinnah was sent to the Sindh Madrasasah High School in 1887. Later he attended the Mission High School, where, at the age of 16, he passed the matriculation examination of the University of Bombay. On the advice of an English friend, his father decided to send him to England to acquire business experience. Jinnah, however, had made up his mind to become a barrister. In keeping with the custom of the time, his parents arranged for an early for him before he left for England.

In London he joined Lincoln's Inn, one of the legal societies that prepared students for the bar. In 1895, at the age of 19, he was called to the bar. While in London, Jinnah suffered two severe bereavements-the deaths of his wife and his mother. Nevertheless, he completed his formal studies and also made a study of the British political system, frequently visiting the House of Commons. He was greatly influenced by the liberalism of William E. Gladstone, who had become prime minister for the fourth time in 1892, the year of Jinnah's arrival in London. Jinnah also took a keen interest in the affairs of India and in Indian students. When the Parsi leader Dadabhai Naoroji, a leading Indian nationalist, ran for the English Parliament, Jinnah and other Indian students worked day and night for him. Their efforts were crowned with success, and Naoroji became the first Indian to sit in the House of Commons. When Jinnah returned toKarachi in 1896, he found that his father's business had suffered losses and that he now had to depend on himself. He decided to start his legal practice in Bombay, but it took him years of work to establish himself as a lawyer. Pakistan thus emerged as an independent state in 14th August, 1947. Jinnah became the first head of the new state i.e. Pakistan. He took oath as the first governor general on August 15, 1947. Faced with the serious problems of a young nation, he tackled Pakistan's problems with authority. He was not regarded as merely the governor-general; he was revered as the father of the nation. He worked hard until overpowered by age and disease in Karachi. He died on 11th of September, 1948 at Karachi.

Recognition by various personalities : Stanley Wolpert, an American historian, biographer and novelist Said, "Few individuals significantly alter the course of history. Fewer still modify the map of the world. Hardly anyone can be credited with creating a nation-state. Mohammad Ali Jinnah did all three."

In the words of John Biggs-Davison, "Although without Ghandi, Hindustan would still have gained independence and without Lenin and Mao, Russia and China would still have endured Communist revolution, without Jinnah there would have been no Pakistan in 1947."

It was, however, given to Surat Chandra Bose, leader of the Forward Bloc wing of the Indian National Congress, to sum up succinctly his personal and political achievements. He said on his death in 1948, "Mr. Jinnah", was great as a lawyer, once great as a Congressman, great as a leader of Muslims, great as a world politician and diplomat, and greatest of all as a man of action, By Mr. Jinnah's passing away, the world has lost one of the greatest statesmen and Pakistan its life-giver, philosopher and guide.

A befitting tribute has been paid to the Quaid by Mr. Lansrence Zining , Professor of Political science in Western Michigan University (NSA) in his article, “Quaid the indormittable democrat”, he said, “ Jinnah had to overcome the British. He had to overcome Hindu dominated Congress Party. The burden of leadership hung very heavy on that thin and tall frame. He was very successful in his contest with the British. He was most successful in his contest with the Hindus, the only man to defeat Gandhi.” Now that democracy has returned let us pledge not to derail it again.

We should have a State in which we could live and breathe as free men and which we could develop according to our own lights and culture and where principles of Islamic social justice could find free play.

Malika Tarannum Noor jahan's 10th death Anniversary is being remembered

Noor jahan is known as "Malika-e-Tarranum" which means "Melody Queen", she was the great female singer and also a popular actress. Madam Noor jahan sung many songs in Urdu and Punjabi language. She was born in Punjab before the partition of South Asia, after partition she moved to Pakistan. She sung many unforgettable songs, her voice holds the great impression. Madam was very loyal to Pakistan she sung many national songs live to encourage Pakistan army in the war field.

She started her filmi career in 1935 She acted and sung songs in various movies in Pakistan and across Pakistan before partition. Madam Noor jahan secured several awards for her work, she received first President's award in 1957. She received The pride of performance in 1966, which is the biggest award of Pakistan. In 1996, she sung her last song for the film "Sakhi Badshah" the song was "Ki dam da bharosa yaar" and after that she became ill and and passed away by heart failure in 23 December 2000.
