Back to pre-pregnancy weight!

I am happy to say that I am now below my pre-pregnancy weight. Thanks to Weight Watchers and Zumba! I am so passionate about Weight Watchers that I have decided to become a Weight Watchers leader. If you don't already know, I am so passionate about Zumba that I became a Zumba instructor. I love it!

I have always loved to dance and when I went to my first Zumba class I was hooked. I talked to my church about providing a community outreach with a FREE Zumba class. I told them I was willing to get certified. They agreed and opted to pay for my certification. Now, I teach one FREE class for the church each week and one paying class to pay for my expenses like liability insurance, ZIN membership, etc. I figured it was a great way to get in shape. There is no way I can say I don't feel like going tonight because I am the instructor and I have to be there. I now have a friend who decided to get certified as well and she and I are teaming up. We are the New Hope Z Team! I am so excited about it! We are doing all kinds of fun things! For more information about Zumba, please click here.

Being a Weight Watchers leader will keep me accountable. It's so easy to lose sight and gain all the weight back. However, when you work for Weight Watchers you have to be within your healthy weight guidelines or you can't work for them.

Weight Watchers is the best way to lose weight if you ask me. I didn't feel completely deprived. I was able to eat my favorite foods, in moderation of course. I love it! You get your daily Points Plus target and then you get 49 extra Points Plus allowance points each week. Also, if you are not into counting Points Plus values you can do the Simply Filling technique. To do this, you simply eat all power foods (there are hundreds) and you still have those 49 extra allowance Points Plus for those items that are not power foods. You can even switch back and forth day to day if you want. You could do Simply Filling Monday, Wednesday and Friday and so Simply Filling the other days if you want. It's such a flexible plan and that is what I absolutely love about it! For more information about Weight Watchers, click here.

Heart breakers!

Heart breakers! Kids really know how to break your heart. Especially my little girl. Daddy has been home from work all week for the holidays so he has been able to spend a lot of time with the twins.

Last night my little girl was yelling for Daddy after we put them to bed. I went in to see what she wanted, and Daddy was following behind me. We were both in the room and she said, "up", which means she wanted covered up. I covered her up and she said, "Don't want it!", in her little attitude manor. I had to uncover her so that Daddy could cover her up. He covered her up and she was fine. Made we feel like poop!

Also, she is a big Pappy's girl. Since Pappy is retired, I ask him to watch the kids for me when I need to run errands and go to doctor appts. Sometimes I will get home after Pappy has put them down for a nap. When she wakes up and I go back to get her she sees me and starts crying because she was hoping it was Pappy. She will actually look at me and start crying for Pappy! Talk about breaking my heart!

My little boy doesn't do these things so much. There are times when he will yell for Daddy, but it doesn't seem that he is disappointed when he gets me instead.

Does anyone else have experiences like this?

I am just loving this age! The twins turned two in August. They are sooo funny! They sing and dance and repeat everything you say. I wish I could keep them this age forever.

My oldest son, James, is turning 18 in two days so I know just how fast it goes. I often wonder what my life will be like when all my children are adults. I have been a mother since I was 17 years old. I am not sure how to not have children to take care of. I know I will always take care of my kids no matter how old they are, but you know what I mean.

It's funny how I didn't know if I wanted to have anymore kids since James was 12 when I got remarried. I remember thinking, I don't want to start all over again. My new husband was 5 years younger than me and didn't have any kids of his own. I felt that it wouldn't be fair for me not to give him a child. Now, I truly could not imagine my life without them. Funny how life works!

This is what Daddy found when he went in to get the twins from their nap. Auby had taken off her poopy diaper and played in it. She had poo all over her face, bottle, and crib. Not to mention she was standing there peeing when he walked in. Apparently, once she was done with it, she threw it on the floor.

Jacob had also taken off his diaper, luckily it didn't have poop in it. He must have peed through the slats on his crib because there was a puddle of pee on the floor in front of his crib.

Mommy just happened to be away for a couple of hours. Poor Daddy! He had to call Grammy and Pappy to come down and help.

Well, ya just never know what is going to make these two precious babies laugh. Yesterday it was a fake sneeze. Once they are done laughing about it, they are done. They don't laugh about the same thing everyday. Today, I could do the same fake sneeze, and they won't even blink and eye. I am always trying to find the latest trick to make them giggle because I love it so much!

I promise I will stop showing videos of giggles. I can't help it! I am addicted to baby giggles! I am Amanda and I am a giggleholic! I just can't get enough!

Hi Everyone! This is my very first video post!

I have decided to do a lot of video posts. This is one of the new things I have been talking about. Another new thing is the giveaways. I will start doing giveaways in a month or two. Stay tuned for that, I will be giving away some jewelry.

If you are anything like me, I would rather watch a video than read. I have so much to read each day that I get so tired of it.
