The other day I casually clicked my way over to Indignant Rant and landed on an article that an ignorant, anything but brilliant, so called freelanced writer wrote straight from her shallow behind.

Do I sound mad? Hell, yeah!

The ignorant so called freelanced writer wrote about how good writers, especially native English writers, were-oh-so-not appreciated. She ranted on about how she and her fellow native English writers have to compete for freelance jobs with ‘people in poverty-stricken countries who will write in chopped-up, half-assed English for less than $1/hour.’

The wannabe-but-lacks-talent freelance writer also ranted on about how employers ‘will pay some poor schmuck in a third-world country (who, I’m honestly SHOCKED even owns a computer) next to nothing to write an article that can barely be read and understood – all for the sake of using keywords to increase their ranking on search engines.’

Her article twitched my nippy ones in a not so fabulous fashion, and my g-string, made of pure elephant skin, twisted around in my crack, and massaged my intestines intensely.

Her ignorant energy disturbed my equilibrium so much that I consult my spiritual advisor and send some nasty African third world mojo her way.

Please note that I purposely omitted links to the article and the ignorant wannabe writer’s blog because I have no desire to send some undeserving traffic their way.

Don’t Blame The Low Fees on My Poorself

Yes, I might be considered poor according to first world standards, and yes, I was proudly born and raised in a third world country, but there is no chance in hell, not even a first world country’s hell, that I am accepting $1 for a 500 word article.

I won, if one can call it winning, a couple of extremely low paying freelanced writing contracts. I was so happy that people were willing to pay me for my writing efforts that I did not care that I was doing a shit load of research, and arguably my best writing for a couple of pennies.

It was half way through my second contract that I realized that I am being exploited, and that I was a very willing victim, that I was actively participating in the exploitative process.

I stopped writing immediately, ignored the contract, and sold the completed articles online for a pretty decent sum of money. I did not even inform the person who contracted me. I walked away from that iffy shitty contract, and several others, like the proud Bitch that I am.

They, the so called employers who tried to exploit me, did not deserve contract termination notification from me. They are scammers who are exploiting writers in the name of SEO.

My point exactly? It is my responsibility, not anyone else’s, to make sure that I am not being exploited by the vicious online scammers. I have to protect my writing, and make sure that I don’t give away my creations for a couple of pennies.

The virtual world is saturated with faceless criminals, and I can become their little Bitch victim, stay their little Bitch victim and complain like a victim Bitch, or launch my own attack with the help of my ancient typewriter.

Online Paid Writing Jobs: Don’t Believe All The Positive Reviews

oDesk, Elance and other similar freelance job agencies, are all fraud with employers, from first and third world countries, who are purposely seeking desperate writers that they can happily exploit. It took me a while to recognize the different scams that these so called employers are running on these agencies, with the blind blessings and protection of the agencies.

These freelance job agencies don’t care about the writers. They only care about the commission that they are getting.

Should you decide to join these agencies, be smart, have a plan and don’t get tricked into believing the iffy shitty job listings.

The Long Term Work Scam

I am looking for Good Article Writers who can produce at least 3 articles a day!!!

300words====$1.15
500words====$1.65
700words====$2.15

It is not a joke. This so called job, above, was posted on oDesk and peeps actually responded!

I guess they are thinking that it is a great opportunity because it promised ‘long term’ work.

Yeah, right long term exploitation.

These ‘long term work’ listing are just scams to get workers to write for them, the scumbag scammers, at ridiculous rates. Don’t fall for it. You will roped in to write articles amount penile enlargement products and vaginal yeast infection cures for a foul smelling $1 per article.

That is glamorous and exciting? No? Now, why the hell are writers doing it anyway?

I don’t have the answer because I don’t have an itch that can be cure with a simple dose of exploitation.

The Test Article Scam

About 98% of the online employers who invited me for an interview asked me to write test article and they supplied the keywords even though I supplied them with various writing samples, links to my blog and Ezine articles.

I wrote about four test articles. I wrote the first two articles for ‘free’. Shortly after I submitted the articles, my applications were rejected.

After I received the notifications I informed the ‘employers’ that they are not being allowed to use the ‘test’ articles in anyway, that since I did not receive any payments for the articles, I am retaining full copyright over the articles.

You guessed it! The scumbags used the articles!

I wrote this review, as a test, for some poser that called herself ‘Sandra Marie’ and this article for a scammer named Melissa Catalan.

I discovered the articles online only a few days ago because the scammers changed the titles of the articles, and made a few minor changes but I have proof that these are the ‘test’ articles that I wrote.

The ‘employers’ disappeared, closed the job postings because they could not find a ‘suitable writer’.

But I am holding the sites owners’ responsible because they published stolen content. It is not my problem that they did not know that the people who sold the content did not own the copyright of the articles.

I gave them a deadline to sort it out, remove my content, or I will get them blacklisted, hurt them where it hurt most: DESTROY THEIR SITES’ SEO.

Determine Your Own Worth

Don’t let these scammers dictate your rates, your worth. You know what your writing is worth, set your own prices. If you think that your article is worth a couple of pennies, these iffy employers will treat your writing like that.

Apply for jobs that are actually promising really payments. They are available, and if you are a great writer, you will get them. Some employers are still actually appreciating good honest writing. Only catch is, you must actually be able to produce a great original article.

Google Hates My Blog

My rocky, stormy relationship with Google is over. I broke up with her and her not so fabulous siblings. My fabulous blog and I are done with them. It is over. Our ego has taken one too many knocks.

Google told me that I should have good SEO, I never cracked that. I still think that acronym stands for Silly Evil Orphan. That would explain the need for attention.

Another good step in the right direction, I was told, is back links. Still don’t know what that is. Because a link is something I placed in the body of my article and it links forward, because it would take the reader forward. Not backwards. I have decided this step was mentioned to me, only to take me backwards. Cause that is the only move I made since I have joined the traffic insane club.

The other so called important advice I received came in the form of another fabulous acronym, SMO. For me, it stands for Small Minded Orphan because my fabulous blog and I have been rejected one too many times by these so called Social Media Enlisters. Or whatever they are suppose to be called.

Do I sound bitter? Hell yes. Ok, no, I am not bitter. I am amused. My blog have been rejected because a) my fabulous blog is not family friendly, (b) my blog contains images and content of an obscene nature.

Yeah, I have an obscene blog. I have a personal blog. Everything about it screams personal. Of course I am going to write about my damn life, which is fabulous at times, and sometimes it is absolutely anything but fabulous. And of course I am the damn main character. Me, the fabulous, obnoxious, liberal Bitch, who owns vibrators. I love my vibrators.

Yes, I am a Bitch. I refuse to write Biatch or something more socially acceptable. I have decided a long time ago to embrace my inner bitch and enhanced it with absolute fabulousity; calling myself a Fabulous Bitch is so damn disarming to the unfabulous labeling community who have called me a bitch way too many times.

So, Entrecard, bloggapedia, Google and search whatever social media you are, phrase Bitch and love for vibrators, and reject it! Yeah, no back links, or forward links for you!

And yes, I wrote a steamy love story. Because that is who I am. Because this Bitch has no desire to write a love story about people who dine, have picnics, marry, then only have sex and happily divorce after their failed attempts to have hot sex. Because that is not who I am. If this Bitch is going to write a love story that is featuring a picnic scene, you can be sure that the picnic scene will be so steamy that the grass and flowers will have no choice but to start an orgy.

Dear uptight social directories and Google, are you brave enough to handle phrases like picnic, grass, flowers and orgy? Thought so.

Goodbye Google, it was never meant to be. Our relationship lacked the necessary eroticism. That is why my ranking will stay at zero, because we have zero attraction.

Are Online Freelance Writing Gigs Really Worth The Effort?

I have read hundreds of online articles about SEO and how to monetize my blog. I even signed up with a couple of sites that promised me to hook my blog up with advertisers.

The SEO and blog monetizing thing did not really work out for me. Even though I can write an article that fulfills all the SEO criteria needs, get the keyword density thing right, I did not want those cosmetically enhanced articles on my sites.

My blog does not fulfill the SEO requirements of the advertisers, so they did not send work my way. That is what they are saying. Truth is I can’t help wondering if some of these sites that hook up bloggers with advertisers are really worth any effort?

I don’t think so. Not for me. I wrote a couple and I got the agreed amounts but the funds are stuck in my online wallets. Most of these online hookup sites require a PayPal account. We, Namibians, are not being allowed to receive funds through PayPal.

It never bothered me that I can’t access the funds that I received for the keyword imbedded articles. I got my kicks from the fact that there were people, a couple, that actually paid me for my writing.

Since my situation changed and I desperately have to raise funds for my Kick Corrupted Ass Battle, I decided to explore the possibility to raise the money with my writing. I wrote a book, a romance, a couple of years ago. Don’t mock me. I am embarrassed as it is.

Anyhow, I was searching for how to get your book published articles when I stumbled upon Freelance Writing Jobs.

Curiosity got the best of me and I clicked the links provided like a mad woman. I landed on a couple anything but memorable sites that offered me all the nonsense that I have been offered before. But I also landed on oDesk and Elance.

Both sites promised me that they will hook me up with prospective employers. Best is, both are free.

oDesk has delivered on that promise.

I joined oDesk two weeks ago and so far I secured five contracts in total. I am still negotiating with two other employers. Got the contracts fairly easy.

I took a couple of skills test, created a profile, loaded a portfolio and searched for jobs. A variety of writing jobs, like requests for blog articles, product reviews, ghost writing for e-books, editing, and translations and re-writing of articles, are being advertised on oDesk.

The contracts that I secured are worth very little money. But I have a strategy. I need to build a reputation and through these contracts I can achieve that. Once I have the ‘reputation’ in place, I can ask for more money. Just got to deliver good, real good, on these contracts.

The process has not been totally smooth. I ran into a couple of scammers and I ended up writing articles that I did not get paid for. And I can’t use them on my blog because they are very topical.

If you have not already signed up with oDesk, but are interested in earning money, I will recommend oDesk. Just look out for the scammers.

My bitch fab tips:

Make sure that you have a kick ass writing sample ready; attach a writing sample to every job application that you send.
When a prospective employer asks you to submit a writing sample on specific keywords, ask questions, like if he/she is going to pay for the sample. I once wrote a 500 word sample on the keyword Flirty Girl Fitness Pole. The employer ended up offering me .75c per article; she advertised a fixed price of $100 for 10 articles of 300 words each. She obviously lied and was planning to use the sample article. I, of course, told her exactly what would happen if she would even try to use that article. She can have that article if and when she is going to pay for it.
Check out the reviews that the employer received to get an idea if the person is trustworthy. Also make sure that the employer’s payment method has been verified by oDesk.
Don’t go for the high priced jobs first; try to build a reputation first by getting fabulous reviews on low priced jobs.
Don’t shy away for SEO articles and phrases like ‘keyword density’. Google is, and will always, be your best online friend. The most amazing tools, for free, are available.

I also signed up with Elance. I have not been able to figure Elance out yet. I created a profile and loaded my portfolio.

The bidding process for jobs on Elance is just getter the better of me. The budget amounts for the jobs that employers are posting on Elance are extremely high in comparison to the amounts on oDesk. So, the bidding for these jobs is extremely high. I can’t help but to think a lot of employers are running scams on Elance.

For example, it happened a couple of times now that I came across job advertisement in which the employers advertised their available budgets as $300-500. Then the employer would post a public announcement, just a couple of hours before the deadline for bidding submission, that his actual available budget is only $20.

I am sure that there are a lot of credible employers on Elance and that I just had some bad luck on the site. So, I am going to stick around on Elance. I might just get lucky. At least the customer service provided by the Elance team is exceptional.

Why I am sharing all this with you? Because I am bitchy nice. And I am royally PO that I only discovered these sites a couple of weeks ago. How the hell did all those how to make money with blogging / writing articles not include these sites? I smell a rat. And rotten cheese.

I have concluded that they saved the info for their e-books.

Write bitchy and fabulous and get paid for it! Maybe I will even hire you on oDesk, or Elance, to edit my book.

Sleep Deprivation Symptoms: Don't Go Insane!

Sleep deprivation, also known as insomnia, is the chronic or acute condition of not getting enough sleep.

I’d fallen victim to insomnia shortly after my mother passed away. I could not sleep in the evenings for more than a week.

I am not a moody person but during time I was extremely moody, bad tempered, distracted and I would fall asleep during the day. Luckily for me, I was on leave from work otherwise it would have been severely problematic for me.

At the time I could easily blamed my strange behavior on trauma. However, sleep deprivation can have a severe negative impact on one’s life.

Take note of the following sleep deprivation symptoms and take immediate action. These symptoms are warning signs that you are abusing your body.

Irritability: Like I have mentioned before, I am not a moody person but sleep deprivation made me to act like a nasty person. Everything and everyone annoyed me. Even nice people annoyed me because they were simply too nice.

Fatigue: I was exhausted all the time, and could not complete the simplest task, for example making a cup of tea. I would forget to pour the water, or even to boil the water.

Memory Loss: I can barely remember half of what happened during that sleepless time. No. I am not usually forgetful. I have a memory like an elephant. That is why I can hold a grudge for an eternity.

Bad Concentration: I can’t even call it bad. Because it was worse. I had no concentrative abilities during that time; I could not focus on a single simple task for longer than 1 minute. If I was at work during that time, I would have been fired within the first 30 minutes.

Change in Appetite: I went on a hunger strike. Not purposely. It just happened. I had zero appetite for days. I survived on insanity, water and coffee. But it might be different for you. You might just develop an appetite that would drive a super model to suicide.

If sleep deprivation symptoms apply to you, get help. Immediately. Or if you are sacrificing sleep in an attempt to achieve certain life goals, stop immediately. It is not worthy to abuse your body like this. A temporary visit to the lalala land, caused by sleep deprivation, is anything but a vacation. It is just insanity.

Last year the Crazy Brunette Bitch asked me to do a guest post for her bitch fab blog. I will totally bitch up and admit that I was scared ~~shi~~titless when the Crazy Brunette Bitch asked me.

I was certain that she would feed my round fab bits for the nearest pavement special if had dared to fuck it up.

The Crazy Bitch loved the post. So, my round fab bits are all still in place.

Unfortunately, my blog is not. It is dying slowly. That is why I decided to re-publish that post on my almost dead blog with the great hope that it would resuscitate my blog.

Maintaining my very fab bitchy self is not easy. I need help. Loads of it.

Don’t despair. I will not totally kill you with a long boring list. I am aiming to only almost kill you with a list that includes my-absolute-must-bitchy-haves.

Apparently I have resorted to bribery, blackmail and shady deals all in the name of shoes and bags. I am negotiating with my Fairy Bitch Godmother to get those allegations squashed.
