Hope everyone has a wonderful Easter with lots of cholate. Just remember if you don't get any candy yourself to remember to visit children and grandchildren they'll be sure to have plenty!!

Don't forget to remember what the day is truely for and that is the death of Christ and the blood he shead for us. The gift he gave us won't fit in an Easter egg but is so much sweeter than any candy you will find in one!!

Tomorrow is my sisters birthday. She is my younger sister and we are very different from each other and yet in some we are alike. So, for her birthday I'm going to share with you some of her special qualities.

She is very Beautiful.
She is very hard spoken sometimes and tough but if you know the seceret to get past that then she will be as tender as a kitten. (I know but that seceret is mine and everyone will use it if they know it.)
She has a pretty voice.
A killer figure.
She loves her daughters more than they will probably ever realizes.
She puts up with Terry. (That in its self shows the power of a remarkable woman!) LOL

Tall Tales and Other Funnies of Child Hood

Christ'yal gave me the idea for our new post for today. So, let's see what stories we can share of our child hood and share some humor to brighten up everyones day!

Looking forward to reading everyones tall tales and other adventures of your childhood.

To get us started I will tell mine:

This happened shortly after learning to drive. It was a hot summer day so while driving down the interstate with my window down (keep in mind my car was a stick shift) a bee flew into the window of my car. Now the fact that I am allergic to bees only intensified my panicing reaction. By now the bee has flown up my loose shorts and is right at my crouch. Now is the time for prayer. Oh, the thoughts going threw my head
what if it stings me there, the doctors laughing, the swelling, the itching. Then my mind goes to getting off the interstate before I wreck so while pulling over in the emergency lane and trying to stop it occurs to me that I'm driving a stick shift and I will have to push the clutch before I can push the break. Well, now this means that I'm going to have to straighten my leg and that will pull my shorts tight on my leg ensuring that the bee will definitly sting me. So, now driving down the interstate in the emergency lane like a crazy person, I start trying to shake the loose part of my shorts to free the bee. By the grace of prayer and probably a whole lot of luck the bee finally flew out of my shorts and out the window and I was not stung. After stopping, taking a deep breath and gaining my composure I continued on my way.

Mothers Birthday

Well, today is my Mother's birthday. We won't discuss either of our ages. But I can say she has raised 10 children and still working on raising the 11th. If you think there is a difference in the ages of my oldest to my youngest then you should know that her oldest is 49 and her youngest is 8 years old. So, you might ask do I follow in my mothers foot steps and the answer would be not so close. Although, I do remember many of my mothers saying. Growing up we always say we don't want to be anything like our mothers but as we grow we find that little by little we are always copying them. My children always hear the wise quotes of my Mother!

"Do unto others as you would have them do unto you."

"Never ask of someone something, that you would not be willing youself to give or do."

Happy Birthday to my beautiful Mother who has held on to her youthful looks!

My daughter and older son got to be a part of a Rock video. We had a great time at the shoot, everyone was so friendly. My children loved being a part of it.

My children and I made a video of baking a cake today. Boy was that an adventure! This video is going to be posted on youtube with the other videos of my children singing. These are funny. I will post the links as soon as they are loaded for all to view.
