Won the battle

In the last six month we are carrying a psychological pressure in our mind due to the pandemic disease. It seemed like a disease which has no fear of affect in our country during December 2019 but after few months it created a mental instability and fear among peoples. Then our government took several steps as precaution for this deadliest disease Corona (COVID-19) which is sounding as simple Bengali term, korona means ‘‘don’t do’’. First few days this deadliest disease was treated as just a viral fever but then it resembled as a disease which is incurable. Then our medical professional tried their best and somehow managed to cure this disease by diagnosing simple medicines used for cold fever like Paracetamol, cetirizine and Azithromycin tablets. Later they developed the idea that plasma of cured Covid patient is helpful for curing a Covid affected patient. So, this gave a moral hope to many citizens about its curability. In this way our people build confidence to fight this deadliest disease. When I watched few interviews of patient who overcome Corona, I usually thought that this person is very lucky so he beat this disease and became a unsung warrior. But a 2yr child and 92yr man won the battle in news gave me inspiration and motivation that we can win this battle.

There is a saying that unless you have experienced you will never know the actual feeling.Then I got affected without having any symptoms i.e Asymptomatic which is common nowadays. Earlier people having this disease were detected by symptoms like headache, fever, breathing problem. When I got call from hospital and heard my report on covid-19. I was shocked little bit as I was the only person in our family to be infected by this deadliest covid-19. In the beginning of two days a lot of think came into my mind related to different myths related to CORONA. Then I had developed a positive vibe and continued my daily routines as usual with some precautions. Many of my friends and relatives were in touch and asked my health conditions frequently. Even though I had not shared my report but they anyhow knew that and inquired. Initially I was irritated but later I realised that their only means to talk with me was for giving me moral support as they knew that for overcoming this disease a person requires mental stability and a zeal to conquer this disease. They got some news that due to fear about this deadliest disease few peoples lost their precious life.

Anyhow I was able to overcome this disease and now able to write my view.I am eagerly waiting to donate plasma for the recovery of covid-19 patients. Actually, which will give me a satisfaction. As per our governments consideration I will be counted as Corona Warrior.

Menstrual leave/period leave policy

The policy is in news time to time for some past years and now in light when one of the leading food delivery company of India - Zomato announced 10 days of paid leave per year for women employees in their organisation. This move was welcomed by many.

Women in our country comprises of approximately 48% of our total population and 23% of women in work/professional field. If it is implemented in all the private sector and public sector then this group of women will be benefited from the said policy, but it will take more times to cover all the sectors completely.

Whenever policy for such a small group/section of people is made it attracts both positive and negative comments/opinion from different section of our society. One group will appreciate it and other will oppose. Not trying to sound like a feminist but we owe them this small amount of support in their hard times.

It is not mandatorily claimed that all women goes through same cramps, uneasiness and discomfort but most of them does. In our society as many of things are not publicly discussed this is one of it. Many women prefer not to disclose that they are on periods. It's a natural/biological phenomenon with female body and it must be taken care of. It's a provision and shouldn't be compared in terms of gender equality or with other leaves. Mindset to visualise the better picture is required, inorder to understand the importance of this policy

Though it have some limitations when we think of applying the policy in each and every sector like those posted in field job cannot avail the same like army, police, journalist etc.

Overall it's one step towards the betterment of our society.

UPGRADE YOUR VISION

Our childhood reminds us how we were able to understand a topic which were taught us in our school easily. We may take some topics like Gravitation, Newton's law, etc. which were initially felt difficult but later it was easily understood. It may be due to our focus to that particular area for knowing in depth and also they were verified easily. But in the contemporary situation we were not able to understand a simple topic it may due to lack of curiosity to go in depth. The approach to that topic may be different for which we are lagging behind.

As we know the development in the field of science is increasing day by day. Let us consider the case of gravitation,we were learnt that when an object is thrown up it will definitely fall down due to gravitational force of attraction. It is absolutely correct but its explanation was not done properly. Later the introduction of Einstein's theory gave an proper idea about gravitation. Similarly many topics are there which are not explained properly. So we have to upgrade our mind as the field of science is expanding and providing the base for many new concepts.To resolve those theories as well as some unknown theory we have to exercise our brain for the development in each and every corner of science which will be the foundation for our future generations.

A Healthy Life

Last Friday when I was discussing with my friend about his weekend plans I broke out into laughter listening his plans. He said he had an appointment for his bike servicing at 10 AM Sharp and taking the current pandemic situation in consideration he must reach there by 9:30 AM to put it in a queue. You might be thinking what is the fun fact in there. Let me tell you, he is the laziest person I have ever met. he goes on days without bathing, brushing only thing he does is eat drink pee & poo. That’s it. He got everything in his house, but is of no use. He had a gas stove, an induction stove and also microwave oven but prefers to order food online. Washing machine is available but he prefers the laundry service where they get your clothes cleaned, ironed and deliver to your door. Mop, vacuum cleaner everything lying aside and when his MAA comes his apartment she used to make the equipment feel they are alive. Can you imagine the kind of person as mentioned above is going to had his bike serviced? Of course, he is. He loves his bike and it does cost him a lot to buy and now to maintain but I never saw him missing any of his bike service. He takes care of it like his own baby starting from part modification to quality of engine oil, seasonal requirements and what not.

Thing is he just forgot he is also a machine which do require periodic oiling, greasing servicing and all just like his bike. Not only him many of us have forgotten the same about ourselves. Living a healthy life, it is just a “things to do” which used to make a place in the entry list of new year resolution of many each year.

What is a healthy life?

All of us must have heard an old saying in our childhood “Early to bed, early to rise, makes a man healthy wealthy and wise” let’s start from beginning of the day. There are many reasons whether spiritual or scientifically that made our predecessor to come to a conclusion that getting up early and going to bed early is a healthy routine. Waking up early helps you plan your day properly. The one who are able to stick to the routine, starts their day with an optimistic vision towards the day and who don’t just end up finding out excuses to everything throughout the day. It’s not a difficult task, just try for 21 days as per study of psychology that will make you habitual for rest of your life.

Now let’s talk about healthy mind which is very essential to lead a healthy life. Human beings given the power to think are driven by emotions. Every day we come across 10 to 100s of number of people with varying emotions. We are all busy in our own life in such a manner that we expect others to work as per our requirement and when that doesn’t occur, Newton’s 3^rd law comes into action. One must learn to control emotions that’s when they say to meditate. Most of us don’t have time to that crazy thing called meditation, right! Simply sit down for 5 to 10 minutes and do nothing. Switch off your phone, TV and just sit idle. See it’s that easy. That’s when you delete temp files and cookies from your mind or like recharging brain. Monks do meditation to attain salvation and you are not going to do that but you will learn many a thing about yourself and that will help you to avoid Newton’s 3^rd law in many situations which indirectly help you keep your mind healthy free from toxic thoughts.

Healthy body plays similar importance just like healthy mind to lead a healthy life. For that we must understand how our body functions. It needs energy to run daily just like petrol for my friend’s bike and for human its food. There is no bad food no good food. What makes the difference between the two is simply the quantity of food that we intake. I just don’t want to sound technical so in a layman terms we must feed our body the quantity it needs. This is how you can stay healthy else you will end up inviting diseases at your early age, that’s for sure. If you eat more than your bodies requirement, then you have to do some physical work in order to fill the requirement gap. That’s when they ask you to do morning walk, weight training, running and all. Everything is correlated.

Last one, your surrounding does play a role, you must keep it clean. That makes your surrounding filled with positivity. It’s simple lead a healthy life but we have made it look complicated and full of excuses. You can dear. Let’s make it happen this year and take it out from to do list for next year resolution.

The celebrations for Ganesh Chaturthi began on August 22, 2020. Many people are bringing home idols of Ganesha on the occasion.People across the country seem to have adapted themselves to the changing times brought about by the COVID-19 pandemic.

Like every year, vendors are selling colourful Ganesh idols, suitable for installation at home. People in masks are selecting idols of their choices. The virus has also made it as a theme for Ganesh idols this year, as seen in the picture in the internet, where the god is portrayed as a COVID-19 warrior.

Several community puja organisers were switched to the digital mode to enable people have 'darshan' of idols on Ganesh Chaturthi. Many organisers imposed restrictions on the entry of visitors to curb the spread of Covid-19.

The 10-day Ganesh festival began on Saturday under the shadow of the coronavirus pandemic, with devotees restricting celebrations to their homes and using online platforms to get 'darshan' of the Lord at temples, amid strict COVID-19 restrictions imposed by governments.

The festival, which begins with grand processions and collective prayers at decked up pandals, this year lacked its usual pomp and show, with the Centre and state governments restricting mass gatherings and movement in the wake of the pandemic.

Amidst the Covid-19 crisis, technology has come handy for devotees and pandals who are using social media to offer virtual darshan of Lord Ganesh during the 10-day festival which began on Saturday. Many families are using various applications to connect with their family members and friends, as the viral outbreak has restricted physical movements of people.

Millions of people cutting across religious lines, warmly welcomed the popular elephant-headed God, Lord Ganesha, amid the clouds of the Covid-19 pandemic and torrential rain on Saturday. Though the usual frenzy, glitter and glam were missing, it was sufficiently balanced by the people's enthusiasm as they looked forward to the cheerful 'Vignaharta' (Remover of Obstacles) answering their prayers and setting humanity free from the coronavirus.

Recall the past two decades ago there is no telecommunications, no computers, no internet. Humankind always had the technology available to solve difficult problems with creative way.

In past days the communication between one to another was done by using pegions, post (letter).But gradually the humankind tend to the technology to implement the fantastic machines namely electronic gadgets which were slowly replaced by postal mails to emails. SMS which is short txt message by telephone. Then the process continues by introducing MMS( Multimedia Message Services) etc..

The advancement in technology was diversified. Human created his wings to fly with the invention of Aircraft. This invention has made the world smaller. The journey reduced to hours and the information too reached in hours.This hours of gap was brought down to seconds by the technology of communications. Internet the game changer is ruling the world now.

In a generation of Artificial Intelligence, 5^th generation technology & 3D painting etc. human have control on all the aspects of technology. It is a time when robots can make robots, a supercomputer can make computer by itself, then what is the chance of human to survive? Here where the human spirit will play the role. Since the beginning of the tournament rumours of his retirement had been doing rounds. The rumours were further fueled when Dhoni chose to take a break from cricket after the World Cup.

I'm writing this review after 2 months of heavy uses.-

FEATURES AND DESIGN:

The black one has great back panel. The first impression as soon as it is unpacked is how classy it looks. Has a back panel that shines purple under different lighting conditions. So classy. Display is bright and punchy. Great sunlight legibility. Highlights colours much. These are the first impressions. Now getting to the Specifications.

SPECIFICATIONS:

Display: The display type is Super AMOLED capacitive touchscreen, 16M colors. 60hz display .So compared to 90hz or 120 or 144hz the display is smooth but a phone with such chipset should have atleast 90hz of refresh rate. Fast fingerprint scanner for an in display one.

Sound: 3.5mm jack audio output is next level due to its hifi-dec and although it hasn't a stereo speaker but it's loud and clear audio experience.

Camera: Camera is good enough i.e, sharp bright picture,u ll not regret on this camera set up. Front camera is decent. That tiny lil punch hole in the corner is not bothering at all while playing video.

Battery: Charging is so fast, i.e,10% to 100% in 40 min aprox. So no use of this L-shaped data cable. In the charging time it just warms up. But again cools down slowly. low resolution of screen greatly helps with battery and on-screen usage time.

Communication: Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac/6, dual-band, Wi-Fi Direct, hotspot.

*Antenna: This is the highlight of this phone. It's very powerful and grabs signal like anything. It doesn't matter if it's 4g or 3g. Where normal phone has only 2 or 3 points of signal, this one shows full and network speeds have consistently substantial difference.

Overall:
This phone is a beast in performance and nothing can match it at the time of this review in performance or storage. This is best for the price it sells at. Sound and low light photography are a bit lesser than expected but one cannot get everything. It gets a 3.5mm audio jack at least.

I had been looking for a good Bluetooth speaker for the past 3 months.The main requirements were to have something that did a good job with music as well as with movies when connected to TV. I had compared and tested several products from JBL Bluetooth speakers to Sony Home theatre to Marshall kilburn and stanmore. The search finally ended with this product.These edifiers also have received some amazing response on Amazon.com. those reviews helped a lot while making this purchase decision.

Delivery & Packaging

As you know its covid-19 pandemic but kudos to Amazon for delivering these safely. The packaging is not that great but average. A fair bit of thermocool and polythene packaging.

Features & Design

The speakers are really well built and sturdy! The look really nice too with the MDF covering.I really wanted an optical out to connect the speakers that I buy. These have that option and come with an optical fibre cable in the box.

The speakers have:

1. Optical in (cable provided)
2. RCA to 3.5mm (cable provided)
3. RCA to dual (cable provided)
4. Bluetooth 4.0

The 3m 5-pin DIN cable allows you to join the 2 speakers together and is a decent length at 3 meters.All cables provided in the box are of really high quality and gold plated. The connecting wire from the passive speakers looks of a very High quality too.

Also comes with a tiny remote.

If you wanted to control the volume, bass and treble manually, the rear-facing controls are slightly awkward to reach once you’ve placed your speakers and set the sound stage but to counterbalance the awkwardness of the positioning they are really good quality. Seriously, I can’t think of anything wrong with the controls at all.

The build quality is very solid, each unit has a premium feel to it and the textured wood paneled MDF looks brilliant.

Here comes the main part of speaker i.e. Sound Quality

The R2000DB’s have a 5” 36W driver and a 24W 25mm which produced 120w of output power.

These sound really good.The sound is crisp and clear. The bass is tight. Indian classic music, EDM, Jazz and pop sound very lively and each instrument can be heard.They are very nice sounding speakers with plenty of max volume (without distortion at the higher end) and bass that can be altered from super tight all the way up to vibrating the walls style bass. Adjust it to your heart’s content.

The high range is so amazing. I love high-hat sounds and sounds that really test the highs. I listen to chilled out ‘lo-fi’ beats whilst writing code and articles, it allows me to concentrate. The fidelity high hat and snare sounds are a real test of a good quality speaker and the Edifier R2000DB’s sound absolutely spectacular.The remote has two auto EQ options - classical and dynamic. However, I could hardly make out any difference between the two.

Connectivity

Connectivity is also something the R2000DB excels at. You can connect through optical, RCA input and Bluetooth. You can also have more than one device plugged in at a time. They are extremely versatile.

The only thing to be wary about is just how easily you can pair with devices, there is no prompting for a security code! This may be a potential problem for people living in apartment buildings, flats or close proximity to your neighbours.

Summary and Verdict

I really enjoyed writing the Edifier R2000DB Review.

The R2000DB are punching way above their price range. Edifier have made them sound impeccable whilst also retaining that brilliant build quality.

The bluetooth connectivity made it so easy. But as it has bluethoot version 4.0 while connecting with bluethoot version 5.0 devices, the sound is breaking which is the only drawbacks I found.

The R2000DB are definitely a speaker to look out for if you’re in the market for some awesome multimedia speakers.

For movies these provide really good bass and stereo separation.

All in all these are really nice speakers that serve both purposes - Music and movies.
