A computer virus is a comuter program that can grow it self. All comuter viruses are human made softwares. As soon as it enters to your computer it will replicate to multiple viruses and slow down your PC. 90% of people knows what a virus is and how harmfull it is to your computer, But the bad thing is only 10% of them knows how to get rid of them and how a virus can spread from one computer to another.

Ther are number of ways that viruses can spread one comuper to a another.

I listed down 7 ways that your PC get affected by a virus.

1. Email attachments.

If you receive an attachment with an email don’t just open it straight a way. Use your common sense. If the attachment is a EXE (executable file), it’ll be a risk to open it since it could be a dangerous virus. If you have a good virus guard it will scan the document before you open it, but do not open exe file unless you know the file is 100% safe to run. Also there are some vbs script that changes your computers registry and damages to your PC. Just give a double check before opening the email attachments

2. Untrusted Websites.

Do you know that you may become infected with a virus by doing nothing but just visiting the website? Many adult website and crack/ keygen sites are speeding viruses by pop ups and installing adwares. Try to avoid visiting such web sites or else visit them at your own risk. Some good virus guards have web access protection to avoid infection from said websites.

3. Shared Networks.

If your computer is connected to a network your computer may have infections without your flutiness. Learning about computer viruses spreading is important to keep your personal information safe online. Phishing schemes are pretty smart to steal people’s identity stolen while acting genuine. A phishing scheme starts when you receive an email from a website claiming to be your bank or Credit Card Company. You are asked to log in, soon after your information is stolen. Do not blindly login if such a email received. If you are doing online credit card transaction beware for phishing web sites. There are lot of anti virus and anti spyware programs over the internet, and can download for free , but surprising some of them actually do exactly the opposite of what they claim. You may see so many advertisements claiming that their virus guards can clean your computer, but beware. Please download antivirus programs from trusted sites only.
