Fatal Fury to join the ranks of fighting games-turned-movies

With Mortal Kombat II in movie theaters and Street Fighter coming soon, 2026 is a big year for film adaptations of fighting games. But even more are on the way.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, a movie based on SNK's Fatal Fury is in the works at indie production banner The Arena. The company has commissioned a script from David S. Goyer (Foundation, The Dark Knight trilogy), which will tell the story of brothers Terry and Andy Bogard. In the original game, the pair are seeking vengeance against crime boss Geese Howard after he killed their adoptive father. And what better way to exact their vengeance than through a high-stakes combat tournament?

Fatal Fury is just one part of Arena's larger plan to build out an entertainment franchise around South Town, a fictional American city where several of SNK's games take place.

Also in the works is the feature film Geese, an origin story for Geese Howard that is reportedly inspired by The Godfather and Joker. Grant Singer (Netflix's Reptile) is set to write and direct.

Arena's plans for the world of South Town go beyond films. An animated Fatal Fury series, titled Fatal Fury: The Vow, is in development from Robert Kirkman's Skybound, which also makes Invincible.

Elsewhere, webtoon author Brandon Chen is developing an Art of Fighting webtoon, which will be the first of Arena's South Town titles to be released.

Paramounts Warner Bros. acquisition to face lawsuit from US States

Paramount Skydance's $110 billion acquisition of Warner Bros. could soon face opposition from U.S. States.

As reported by Reuters, California, New York, and other unnamed states are preparing to file a lawsuit to block the merger. Sources say the lawsuit would be filed "in the coming weeks."

The lawsuit's specific complaints are unknown at this time, though they could align with Hollywood and US senators' prior criticisms of the merger, which include antitrust concerns and concerns about the merger's harmful impact on the increasingly fragile film and TV industry.

Even if the lawsuit doesn't succeed in blocking the merger entirely, it could still significantly delay the deal. The consequences of a delay wouldn't be pretty for Paramount. If the deal isn't closed by October, the company will have to pay shareholders a daily fee of around $6.9 million.

However, Paramount has been laying the political groundwork for a smoother journey to regulatory clearance. As Reuters notes, Paramount CEO David Ellison's father, Oracle cofounder Larry Ellison, has ties to President Donald Trump. David Ellison has also been taking steps to appease the Trump administration since the Paramount-Skydance merger, resulting in internal conflict at Paramount, as seen most recently in CBS's firing of 60 Minutes correspondent Scott Pelley.

I visited Intel's robot-run AI chip factory, where the biggest danger is human skin and hair

I got rare access inside Intel's factory, where it makes some of the world's most advanced chips.
The plant is so tightly controlled that paper, white light, and even footsteps can become problems.
The trip made me realize that making the chips powering everyday life means protecting them from us.

I knew visiting Intel's chip factory would be different when they told me I couldn't wear my regular deodorant.

Or lotion. Or hairspray. Or makeup.

Before I'd even boarded the plane to Oregon, Intel sent my videographer and me a long list of things we couldn't wear or bring into its factory in Hillsboro. No Velcro. No Bluetooth. No phones unless they were on airplane mode. The list kept going.

That was my first clue I was about to step into a place governed by a very different set of rules.

In March, after months of planning with Intel, I got rare access to one of its chip factories — the kind of place the tech industry calls a fabrication plant, or fab. Inside, Intel makes some of the most advanced semiconductors in the world.

Chips run almost every part of modern life: laptops, phones, chatbots, washing machines, fighter jets, and the data centers behind AI.

Demand for these chips is skyrocketing, with annual semiconductor sales expected to reach $1 trillion by 2027. I went behind the scenes to see the complicated and delicate manufacturing process that's so controlled, it permanently changed how I think about what it means to be clean.

What it takes to get inside Intel's fab

I arrived on a rainy Oregon morning in my best walking shoes, per Intel's instructions. We'd be covering a lot of ground, and they weren't kidding. The fab in front of us was enormous — bigger than an aircraft carrier.

We walked about 10 minutes to the gear-cleaning room. Just beyond it sat a room full of what I estimated to be billions of dollars in Intel chips.

"Each little tiny speck can cause a defect, which would destroy the chip," Chris Auth, Intel's vice president of manufacturing development and our guide for the day, told me.

We scrubbed down every piece of camera equipment with sterilizing wipes. Not just the obvious surfaces. We extended the tripod legs, wiped them down one by one, collapsed them, and wiped them down again, hunting for any nook that might be hiding dust.

Then came the gowning room, a chamber so big it could have swallowed my New York studio apartment many times over. It was packed wall-to-wall with bunny suits, each worth about $1,000, according to Intel.

I got to wear one for the day. But first, I had to figure out how to put it on.

"So you kinda wanna scrunch up your suit so that the sleeves don't touch the ground here," Auth said, once he'd slipped on his hood.

Every piece had to connect in the right order. The onesie snapped onto the hood. The boots attached to the suit. My first pair of gloves got tucked under the sleeves. A second pair went on top to trap the skin particles my hands were shedding.

I've visited factories before that worried about visible contaminants — a bracelet falling off, an earring coming loose. Intel worried about invisible ones. The kind your body releases constantly without asking permission.

That also explained why my notebook had to stay outside. Regular paper sheds microscopic particles, and here, even that can be enough to ruin a chip. Intel handed me a special cleanroom notebook that doesn't shed.

Then I stepped onto the fab floor.

In a place this tightly controlled, I was oddly thrilled by what looked like hot-pink equipment everywhere. But it wasn't actually pink.

The gigantic room glowed under yellow light to protect the chips. Any other wavelength could damage a chip while it's being made.

"Under yellow light, everything that looks pink to your eyes is actually red," Tyler Osborn, Intel's director of advanced packaging technology development, later told me, gently bringing me back to reality.

Nothing about the fab felt quite real, though.

There were more robots than people. The few people who were there all looked the same in hooded suits. Employees told me they often recognize one another by how they move.

"You get to know people's gait," Osborn said, his voice muffled by the layers covering everything but his eyes.

Robots zipped by on overhead tracks, carrying sealed boxes of wafers — the thin slices of silicon that chips are built on — around the factory, keeping them out of human hands.

People, I learned, are too inefficient for this work. Robots need to move thousands of wafers a day. Not to mention, humans can be clumsy.

I couldn't stop wondering what would happen if someone in a rush tripped and sent a box of wafers flying.

"Mistakes are very, very costly," Auth said. "You're somewhere in the $50,000 to $500,000 range just for one wafer."

Each robot carries 25 wafers at a time.

"So now you're into the millions for just one box," he said.

Even my footsteps felt like a risk

The chips are about the size of a fingernail. But Intel isn't just controlling that tiny patch of space. It is trying to steady an entire factory around something microscopic.

"We're building the world's smallest features in some of the world's biggest factories," Auth said.

The fab is built in layers, with a foundation designed to absorb outside shocks — earthquakes, nearby machinery, even low-frequency vibrations from air-conditioning units in neighboring buildings.

"It comes down to microvibrations," Bob McMillan, Intel's life safety and systems manager, told me.

That was the moment I became unusually aware of my own footsteps. I felt like a giant moving through a world built for things far smaller and more delicate than me.

Everything in the fab was choreographed to protect the chip, which made me wonder what would happen if all that control failed in the smallest possible way.

So I asked what would happen if a beard hair got into one of these machines.

"You're done," McMillan said.

"A hair is huge," Auth later explained.

A single human hair can be a million atoms thick. Some of the structures Intel is building are just a few atoms wide.

The entire factory works like a machine

It was hard to hear anyone over the constant hum of gigantic tools.

Then I realized the building wasn't just full of machines. It was one.

Even the floor was working.

It stretched beneath us like a giant metal sieve, perforated with holes as far as I could see. They were there to pull particles away from the wafers — catching anything rogue that escaped our suits in less than 60 seconds.

"We change all the air in this factory about that quickly," McMillan told me.

They filter the air over and over because, at any given moment, there can't be more than eight particles bigger than a micron floating in every cubic meter of air. The room you're sitting in right now probably has millions.

To me, that was hard to fathom.

I was standing inside one of the cleanest places on Earth, which was reassuring and also vaguely unsettling. Regular life suddenly seemed impossibly filthy.

Why making chips is so hard

A single chip takes about three months to make, and almost nothing can go wrong. In that time, it moves through roughly 2,000 steps, and thousands of machines spread across the factory.

"There's 12 football fields of clean room space here," Auth said.

He later told me it costs about $20 billion to build a fab like this. By comparison, One World Trade Center cost about $3.9 billion to build.

Despite the price tag, the US government has made building chips in America a top priority.

About 90% of the world's most advanced chips are made in Taiwan, which Washington sees as a major geopolitical risk as China threatens to take the island by force.

That's why, no matter how hard these chips are to build, the White House says the US needs more factories like this one. Right now, Intel is the only American company designing and manufacturing advanced logic chips on US soil.

I left thinking about how fragile modern life is

When we got back to the gowning room and took off our hoods, I realized I'd almost forgotten what everyone we'd spent the day with actually looked like.

Then I got my phone back, stepped back into normal life, and had a thought I still can't shake: we live in a world that runs on chips.

To make them, however, we have to create an entire environment designed to protect them from us.

The advertising industry presents several major awards, such as the Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity and the CLIO Awards. Now, a new awards show honors the best AI-generated ads.

The Generated Awards took place on May 27 in New York City, where the Generated Group presented 9 awards to AI video creators and brands. Many of the nominated ads were "spec ads," unofficial creations by AI hobbyists and creators. However, ads from Google and the Gorilla Glue Company were also considered.

For instance, "Pac-Man Reimagined," winner of the "Best Visual Effects" award, is not actually an advertisement from Bandai Namco Entertainment, which owns Pac-Man.

Still, the event shows just how quickly the advertising agency is adapting to new AI technology. Last year at Google I/O, the company dropped the AI video model Veo 3 like a bomb, and ever since, we've had to question every viral video we've seen. Since then, we've seen rapid advancements in text-to-video models. AI video creators often use multiple video models, including Seeddance 2.0, Kling 3.0, and Luma Ray2, as well as tools to improve the resolution to 4K.

Google has explicitly pitched Veo as a tool for quickly creating advertisements at scale, and multiple ad agencies now specialize in creating low-cost AI ads. Coca-Cola's most recent holiday campaign was centered on a controversial AI video, and Jeep has several AI-generated commercials on the air now.

As I've said before, whether you like it or not, I think artificial intelligence in advertising is a train that can't be stopped.

Over email, I asked Tanya Porquez, the Generated Group CEO, if AI-generated ads should have mandatory disclosure requirements. She said, "I don’t think there should be a required disclosure unless there is a legal requirement."

"We’re going to have a crawl-walk-run situation where 'made with AI' disclosures are present to build public trust. There is a transparency issue where people want to know that they’re not being manipulated by AI tools. For example, in New York they’ve passed legislation to require disclosure of AI-created people, something we welcome. I can understand why they’re asking for it now at this early state."

The Generated Ads: See the winning ads

To see what advertising could look like in the near future, I've gathered all the award winners into this piece. You can watch them for yourself to see if you can tell the difference between what's real and what's not.

Some of the videos are more obvious than others, and feature the tell-tale glossy sheen that's a hallmark of many AI videos. However, as with AI-generated images, the tells are becoming harder and harder to spot.

Samsung Health app gets big refresh ahead of Galaxy Watch 9 release

Samsung has a new smartwatch coming out, the Galaxy Watch 9. We haven't seen it yet, but the Samsung Health app is already getting ready for its arrival.

The Korean tech giant announced in a blog post on Thursday that Samsung Health is getting an update starting on June 8 that will "showcase the key health features included in the upcoming Galaxy Watch." Of course, we haven't actually seen the watch yet (which we expect to be similar to the Galaxy Watch 8), but all available information suggests it will be announced in late July at a Galaxy Unpacked event in London.

As with the recent Google Health app update, AI is very much at the center of the new Samsung health portal.

“Samsung Health is evolving to connect health data measured by the Galaxy Watch with AI-based insights, enabling users to understand their physical condition more easily and intuitively,” said Hon Pak, Samsung SVP and Head of the Digital Health Team, in a blog post. "Samsung Electronics will continue to expand proactive and personalized health management experiences based on the connected Galaxy ecosystem and digital health innovations."

Anyway, as for the specific Samsung Health update, it brings a UI overhaul and some key new features that might hint at what to expect from the Galaxy Watch 9.

Samsung has "streamlined" (their words) the layout of the app into five key components: Sleep, Activity, Nutrition, Mindfulness, and Vitals. The Vitals display is a new one, as it studies several metrics, including heart rate, skin temperature, and blood oxygen, while you sleep in order to compare them to your baselines and identify any potential problems.

There's also a new Heart Health Score, which combines several heart-related metrics into one easy-to-digest score. The new app also includes a Daily Cardio Load measurement, as well as a Fitness Index that exists to judge the effectiveness of your workouts. In all, it sounds like a pretty substantial update befitting a brand new smartwatch. We'll likely find out more in late July at the rumored Galaxy Unpacked event.

Astronaut, mom, Barbie doll — content creator Kellie Gerardi embodies the multihyphenate woman

Even astronauts have down days.

Kellie Gerardi, the director of human spaceflight at the International Institute for Astronautical Sciences and the 90th woman to fly to space, is also just a working mom juggling it all.

When she’s not parenting or teaching astronauts-in-training about microgravity, Gerardi documents her fertility challenges and motherhood journey on Instagram — the research astronaut recently gave birth to her second daughter, who was conceived through IVF.

In June of 2026, at just 8 weeks postpartum, Gerardi returned to work and became the first woman to pump breastmilk in microgravity during a parabolic flight for the IIAS. (Her device of choice was a breast pump from Willow's lineup.)

For those who find the science interesting [and] want to understand why it matters to research," Gerardi wrote alongside a recent Instagram post, "breast milk contains bioactive lipids that reflect things like maternal metabolism, inflammation, stress responses, and overall physiologic adaptation during the postpartum period. So studying how those molecules change in response to a controlled physiologic stressor like microgravity / high g can help us gain a better understanding of how maternal physiologic stress is reflected in milk during postpartum recovery."

After more than eight years of secondary infertility, the birth of her daughter was a vision finally realized. As a way to give back to her community, Gerardi teamed up with online registry site Babylist to establish a pair of IVF grants.

Gerardi, 37, is happy to serve as a role model for her 2.5 million followers on Instagram and TikTok, but not in the my-life-is-perfect way. Gerardi literally reaches for the stars, but also remains completely down to Earth about the heaps of expectations placed on women.

"I gained about 60 pounds across my most recent round of IVF and through this pregnancy,” Gerardi posted recently. "Those pounds are mostly still with me and I suspect they might be for a bit, and it’s such a relief to know I just… don’t have to spend mental energy feeling any sort of way about that.”

Two and a half years after visiting space on Virgin Galactic’s Galactic 05 Mission, Gerardi was recognized for her achievements when a Barbie doll was created in her likeness as part of a celebration of International Women's Day.

Gerardi had the perfect Instagram caption to mark the occasion: “When you worked your butt off the past 20 years so your daughter(s) can say Mommy is an astronaut AND a Barbie."

A throughline to much of Gerardi's online content is her belief that women — and girls — contain multitudes. It's not just something that she says, though; it's something she lives.

Larry Page's $23 million private island headache won't go away

Another party laying claim to the islands may now drag Page's camp back into court.
The case has offered a rare glimpse into Page's highly secretive family office.

After nearly 12 years of courtroom warfare, mounting legal bills, and family office intrigue, the world's second-richest person has hit another snag in his quest to own paradise.

Google cofounder Larry Page and his wife, Lucinda Southworth, purchased two islands in the US Virgin Islands — Hans Lollik and the smaller neighboring Little Hans Lollik — for $23 million in 2014, Business Insider previously reported. A developer named James Eckel claimed he already had a contract to purchase the Caribbean islands, kicking off a fierce legal battle between Eckel, the seller, and Page's holding company.

The case was dragged through the Texas courts, which ultimately ruled on appeal in 2019 that Eckel was only entitled to financial damages, not the islands. However, the battle has also raged on in the US Virgin Island courts, where Page has sued for Great Hans, the entity owned by Eckel, to remove a document asserting a legal claim to the islands — and to rule that Page's entity, USVI Properties, owns the islands "free and clear of any claim by Great Hans."

Last week, attempts to resolve that case via mediation resulted in an impasse, according to a filing with the US Virgin Islands Superior Court. The issue will require court action, the filing said.

Representatives for Eckel and Page did not respond to a request for comment.

Shooting goats

The long-running legal battle has given a rare glimpse into the inner workings of Page's family office, which is notoriously secretive even within an industry that prides itself on discretion.

Representatives for Page's family office, named Koop, tried to keep Page's involvement hidden from the other parties in the transaction, according to case transcripts previously reviewed by Business Insider. Page's lawyers also fought to prevent the Google cofounder from being deposed, arguing he held no "unique or superior" knowledge of the transaction.

Great Hans has claimed that Page's agents had awareness of the prior negotiations. It has argued that a legal ruling should not be made before Page provides a recorded, sworn testimony.

Page and Southworth married on Richard Branson's Necker Island in 2007.

Page's connection to the transaction was previously confirmed by Business Insider after reviewing legal filings, including a 2016 deposition from the CEO of Page's family office, Wayne Osborne. Gil Simon, a consultant hired to negotiate the transaction on behalf of Page, testified that he did not reveal the Google cofounder's involvement to the sellers to keep his identity concealed.

Page's specific intentions for the islands, located off St. Thomas, could not be learned. His lawyers said in a 2018 filing that he "plans to maintain the Islands in their undeveloped green and natural state."

Osborne said in his 2016 testimony that the plan was to purchase the islands but not develop on them. In 2020, several people were seen dressed in camouflage and shooting "invasive" goats on Hans Lollik, Business Insider previously reported.

Page's island collection

Page, who recently moved from California to Miami ahead of a billionaire's tax, has a handful of other islands he can find some respite on.

He purchased Cayo Norte, an island east of Puerto Rico, for $32m in 2018 using the same Virgin Island Properties holding company, Business Insider previously reported.

In 2020, he purchased a majority stake in Fiji's Tavarua Island, famed for its proximity to one of the world's top surfing spots, using a different LLC that Business Insider identified as his. Page and his family spent some of the pandemic in Fiji.

During the Hans Lollik litigation, Osborne confirmed a long-running rumor that Page also owned Eustatia Island, an island in the British Virgin Islands, according to transcripts reviewed by Business Insider. Business Insider previously reported that Page had used that private island to test his flying cars.

Osborne also hinted that Page proposed to Southworth on Hans Lollik. Page and Southworth married on Richard Branson's Necker Island, which neighbors Eustatia, in 2007.

Nicolás Maduro has a reason to shake his jailfeather.

Anna Estevao, an attorney who represented Sean "Diddy" Combs in his blockbuster criminal trial last year, joined the former Venezuelan president's defense team on Thursday.

The move comes after Maduro's lead attorney, Barry Pollack, joined Estavao's law firm, Harris Trzaskoma LLP.

The boutique litigation firm announced earlier this week that it was bringing on Pollack, best known for representing Julian Assange, and Susan Hoffinger, a renowned trial lawyer who was part of the Manhattan district attorney's prosecution team that won a 34-count fraud conviction of Donald Trump before he was elected president for the second time.

Pollack told Business Insider that he joined the firm because of its stable of "incredible lawyers" who can handle novel legal issues and complex challenges, including in Maduro's case.

"This is a truly unprecedented situation, and there will certainly be a robust defense, and joining this firm is going to give me the resources to assist President Maduro in every way we can," Pollack said.

Estevao played a key role in Combs' Manhattan criminal trial last year, cross-examining his main accuser, Cassie Ventura. The jury acquitted Combs of the most severe charges against him — racketeering and sex-trafficking — but convicted him of two prostitution-related charges. The former hip-hop mogul is appealing his conviction and 4-year sentence.

Estevao told Business Insider that she is excited to work with her new colleagues on high-profile and challenging cases.

Justice Department prosecutors have accused Maduro and his wife, Cilia Flores, of narco-terrorism and weapons charges. They've both pleaded not guilty.

The court proceedings, overseen by US District Judge Alvin Hellerstein, have taken place in the same 26th-floor courtroom as Combs' trial. Both Combs and Maduro were also housed in the same federal jail in Brooklyn, though not at the same time.

Theresa Trzaskoma, who cofounded the law firm last year with Estevao, Justine Harris, and Allegra Noonan, told Business Insider that Pollack and Hoffinger were "kindred spirits" with other attorneys at the firm.

"It is exciting to have lawyers who can take on all kinds of cases," she said. "Difficult, hard, challenging cases for high-profile clients and others who are facing really difficult circumstances."

Searching for a job can be brutal. Finding the right talent in a sea of résumés is an HR headache. Neither employers nor workers are happy with the status quo, which is the tension behind Indeed's new brand campaign, "Jobs Need People".

Produced with creative agency 72andSunny, the campaign features warm images of workers in a wide range of job functions engaging with customers and colleagues. Indeed's message is focused on its AI-powered matching tools that it says help people and companies find each other.

"Jobs Need People" is a reminder that while AI can streamline the process, hiring must always remain fundamentally human," wrote the company's chief marketing officer, James Whitemore, in a blog post announcing the new creative.

Whitemore recorded a video interview with Business Insider when the campaign was still under wraps. He spoke then about the balance between the tech and the human — about how his marketing team is unlocking the benefits of AI for refining and tailoring content for its audiences, and arming the sales teams with AI tools to help strategize deals.

"I want my team to be able to be fluent in AI, to have the right skills they need for AI, and help them build their career as a digital AI-savvy marketer," he said.

Whitemore also talked about the power of fandom across the brand's sports partnerships. Soon, as part of the company's broader initiative, Indeed and FOX Sports will announce the winner of its job search for the FIFA Men's World Cup Watcher, a real employee who will earn a $50,000 salary to watch every game from a cube in New York's Times Square.

The following transcript has been edited for length and clarity.

There are really three areas I'm focused on right now in artificial intelligence for marketing. First, it's about helping us refine our audiences, tailor our content for those audiences, and use our media and campaign dollars as effectively as possible.

We serve hundreds of millions of people across multiple countries and multiple industry segments. The more targeted I can get, the better: using AI to take our first-party data, along with the first-party data from our partners and our media companies, and really building hyper-targeted audiences is the first objective.

The second is to strengthen the relationship between sales and marketing. We're giving our selling teams AI tools that allow them to understand what types of engagements their customers are having with marketing, content, and programs — and suggest next actions for them, and follow-ups for them in response to that. It really changes the whole concept of what a lead is, to become real-time signals and alerts.

The third area I feel very strongly about is helping the marketing teams develop their own AI skills. Marketing is one of the professions that is being impacted most significantly by AI, and I want my team to be able to be fluent in AI, to have the right skills they need, and help them build their career as a digital AI-savvy marketer.

Fandoms as the FIFA World Cup approaches

The concept of a fandom is something I'm very passionate about. Fandoms exist across sports, across entertainment, and in many other areas. Basically, it's a community of like-minded people who are very passionate about a specific topic. And those audiences have a very high propensity to engage with content and share content and generate content themselves. The ability to tap into those fandoms is core to the way I think as a CMO.

The partnerships that we have with F1 are really interesting. F1 taps into billions of people in the fandom. In Premier League soccer, the partnerships that we have with teams like Brentford FC and FC Utrecht and Eintracht Frankfurt will become a lot bigger this summer with the World Cup in the U.S.

We also announced some very interesting partnerships with FOX Sports, where we will be hiring their official FIFA World Cup viewer for the entire duration of the tournament.

Pivoting a career in sales to marketing

I started my career in sales. I got into marketing because I was always the mouthy, pushy salesperson who was telling the marketing teams that I didn't like their content, that it wasn't working, that it wasn't resonating with customers.

Eventually, when I was working with IBM, somebody said, "Well, if you're so good at marketing, you should come work in marketing." So I went and joined the product marketing team at IBM.

When I look back at that, I think I should have been more confident in my ability to tell a story and translate complex technologies into something that resonates with the people that you are actually talking to — especially customers who may not be technologists. It took me quite some time to believe in myself and my ability to tell those stories.

A software engineer created a 90-day AI course to help workers across departments build the tech they want

AI upskilling in logistics can boost efficiency and help staff adapt to job-market changes.

AI is modernizing supply chains by suggesting more efficient delivery routes, tracking energy use, and increasing access to quality products. Still, the broader logistics industry is in the early stages of AI implementation.

"Tools have developed faster than what the internal capability has," said Anastasia Kouvela, a managing director and partner at Boston Consulting Group. She said there is a skills gap in the logistics-data discipline, a lack of trust in advanced algorithms, and a shortage of soft skills needed to explain AI decisions to customers, all of which hinder logistics companies' abilities to implement AI.

To get ahead of these challenges, the San Francisco-based freight forwarding company Flexport has made AI upskilling a key focus. The company sells software that gives global logistics companies greater visibility, organization, and control over the movement of their goods.

Since the start of 2025, the company's vice president of engineering, Alex Nederlof, has offered an in-house 90-day training program for employees across departments like human resources, legal, and operations, so they can learn to use AI to build tools that make their work more efficient.

Teaching employees to think like software engineers

Nederlof, who also heads Flexport's AI platform team, launched the upskilling program in January 2025 to automate repetitive tasks like sending emails, extracting information from PDFs, and filling out forms.

Staffers who participate in Flexport's upskilling course must commit to automating a specific part of their workflow, said Nederlof. They learn to use LLMs, such as OpenAI's ChatGPT and Anthropic's Claude, and AI agents to build and run automated tools. They don't need to code themselves; instead, they vibe code by prompting an AI system to build what they need.

"I went from zero coding experience to building automations that are shaping companywide initiatives — in a matter of months," said Jenna Ward, a senior program manager in operations at Flexport.

Nederlof said he aims to teach non‑engineers to behave like product engineers. They need to think about security and how to be good software engineers, including how to properly test products and design them so that human input and monitoring are always part of the process, he said. It's up to employees if they want to participate, Nederlof said, but they need to apply and get their manager's sign-off.

Recent projects have included a vibe-coded app that automatically checks customs forms, a process that traditionally requires employees to check individual forms for each customs entry, and a Q&A chatbot for frequently asked employee questions that HR staffers built, Nederlof said. These tools replace external software, which reduces Flexport's bill for software-as-a-service products, he added.

Continuous learning in the age of AI

AI's capabilities have advanced dramatically over the past few months. For example, Flexport's engineering team initially thought it would take six months to fully automate emails, but one engineer needed only three days due to the rise in vibe coding.

As such, Nederlof decided to reshape the upskilling course. In January 2026, he updated the program to have two levels for all departments, including legal and HR. He said it is now constantly evolving as new AI techniques and tools are released, such as popular chatbots and software automation tools like n8n and GitHub. At each level of the training course, participants face fewer restrictions on what they can build and which tasks they can build for, he said.

Since debuting his course, Nederlof said he has had other companies reach out to learn how to implement something similar. His advice, he said, is to identify people with an aptitude for building automation quickly, ensure they have access to good technology, and put guardrails in place so they can build without making silly mistakes.

"These people live in every part of your organization. Drop your preconceived notion of who might be eligible. From ops to recruitment to finance, I've seen success stories everywhere," Nederlof told Business Insider.

Addressing the broader concern that AI will make much of the workforce redundant, as companies need fewer people to do the same amount of work, Nederlof said that Flexport's upskilling program will help departing staffers get their next job.

He said that he tells his workers that if they switch careers, they can tell their new employers, "I carry the same value as four other operators. I am a four‑person team, because of the tools that I have," because of what they are able to build with AI and the product-engineering mindset they learned at Flexport.

The company offers upskilling to all staffers — those who do and don't take part in the AI-specific course — through a content library for self-guided learning on topics like AI, logistics, and management. Flexport also encourages employees to share videos, tutorials, and workflows in a dedicated Slack channel, said a spokesperson for the company. The AI upskilling program, on the other hand, requires dedicated time and has a formalized curriculum.

This kind of fluency in technology and AI is increasingly a prerequisite for supply-chain job postings, said Kouvela, adding that it can be a competitive edge — for workers, and for the businesses that hire them.

Companies that invest early in their people will be the ones able to squeeze out inefficiencies, respond to crises faster, and ultimately deliver better service to their customers, Kouvela said.

The move: Hewlett-Packard Enterprise became the latest member in a club of companies that have seen huge stock rallies after earnings.

Shares of HPE soared on Tuesday as traders took in the computing giant's stellar first-quarter earnings report. The stock surged 35% at the open to trade at 64.21.

Why: The company posted its biggest earnings beat in about eight years. Earnings per share came in at $0.79 for the first quarter, smashing expectations of $0.53.

Revenue surged 40% year over year to $10.68 billion, nearly $8 billion of which was driven by cloud and AI revenue.

HPE lifted full-year earnings guidance, and told investors it's currently two years ahead of its long-term financial goals.

What it means: The computer giant is adding to a string of earnings beats across the tech sector that have sparked enormous stock gains. The moves signal the intense resurgence of AI hype after the trade took a breather in the first quarter.

HPE's results are also adding to brewing fear in the market of an earnings-fueled bubble that could deflated once earnings season winds down.

ServiceNow, Snowflake, and Dell are among some of the tech giants that have also wowed investors on earnings lately, posting gains of up to 40% the day after reporting results.

AI has driven a resurgence of legacy, dot-com era tech stocks, including Dell, Cisco, and Intel. It's also helped revive the market's software sector, which was crushed during the first quarter amid a panic about the impact of AI on the sector.

The iShares Expanded Tech-Software Sector ETF, one prominent gauge for how brutal the software sell-off has been, has climbed out of its bear market and is up 5% year-to-date.

For most people, the draw of open earbuds comes from what they can offer you while you're out and about in the world. The awareness open earbuds provide is generally better than any transparency mode you'll find on traditional earbuds, giving the user the flexibility to listen to music in the park or go for a jog around your city without feeling totally shut out from the world around you.

With that in mind, the Bowie MC2 earbuds make a strong initial case for themselves on a few fronts.

Impressive battery life

If I can listen to music while staying aware of the world around, chances are I'll be keeping my earbuds in and powered on for much of the day. Baseus accounts for this in its battery life, offering an impressive 13 hours per charge, or 11.5 with Bass Boost on. In my experience so far, Bass Boost is pretty essential for getting the best sound quality, even if you're a non-bass head. Otherwise, the music can sound too distant.

To put things into perspective, the only other pair of open earbuds I've encountered with comparable battery life are the Shokz OpenFit Pro, which get 12 hours per charge and 50 hours in the case. They're also $250.

Interchangeable ear covers for maximizing comfort

Most times with budget earbuds, I don't expect a ton of innovation, but with the Bowie MC2, Baseus introduces a feature I've never seen on open earbuds — interchangeable ear covers, which the brand calls CloudComfort 2.0 cushions.

The soft silicone covers are comfortable, but the sizing is somewhat limited. The earbuds come set up with the medium size, but you'll find large and extra-large covers in the box. I tried the larges because out of the box, the earbuds felt a tiny bit loose on me compared to other cuff-style earbuds I've tried. However, I found the larger cover to fit even less securely.

I'm anticipating that this might be due to the size of the band that wraps around the ear, which is also larger than I've encountered on other earbuds. I imagine this is in the service of providing a more comfortable fit, but I've never found smaller bands to be too snug before. In my testing, I'll be looking at how this looser fit works in an exercise context — though I hope it works well, as the IP67 rating could make these earbuds a great pair of workout earbuds.

Their budget earbud competition

At $79.99 (and $50 on sale), these earbuds offer potentially excellent value, especially in a landscape where many of the more popular open earbuds from major audio brands can set you back $200 or more.

The only real competition I see are the EarFun Clip earbuds, which cost $69.99 at full price and are frequently on sale for under $50. Similar to the Baseus earbuds, they have LDAC support, Bluetooth 6.0, and are just behind the Baseus buds in terms of battery life, offering 10 hours per charge and 40 hours in the case.

I was a college professor and retired from a community college in Florida. I raised two boys, both of whom are married, and I have five grandchildren. I had retired to do van life with my partner, who has been with me for seven years. I realized, though, that you can only do so much van life before you need a place to come home to. So we bought a tiny house in Arizona.

I'm an only child, and my mom was in assisted living in California. When she went into assisted living, her veteran benefits and Social Security were enough to cover the cost of her care. She was in assisted living for over seven years, and she had sold her house and had some savings. The rate kept going up and up, and it was draining her savings.

The cost was about $4,700 a month, and it was about to go up to $5,200, which was a couple of thousand dollars more than what she earned.

She's 88, and I wanted to keep her there as long as she could. When I got the notice that the rate was going up again, and that they were going to raise her quality of care cost because her dementia was getting worse, her savings were down to almost nothing. They said that she would be moved to a dementia unit with four other people, and I didn't want that to happen to her.

Additionally, as her dementia got worse, she would get so many scam calls. She was savvy her whole life and worked as a lead for a law firm and a real estate agent, but it came to a point where I had to turn off her phone.

It was cheaper to take care of Mom at home

My partner and I decided that we could probably take care of her. It would be a lot cheaper. We started making the moves to bring her here so that I could take care of her. I brought my mom in to live by us in November.

There wasn't going to be room for her and my partner, so I had to give her a little model home in the same trailer park. Hers is about 700 square feet and is about a minute's walk from me. There are a lot of older people here, and the owner keeps a good eye on everyone. I knew that she wasn't going to be with me, but she needed care as if she were.

The trailer was in the low five figures, and we bought it using two-thirds of her savings and one-third of my savings. The rent for the space a little over $500 monthly. It's so much cheaper this way because my partner and I split the caregiving. Her utility bills run about $200 monthly in the winter and $70 in the summer. Caring for her started to become a little much for me, but because we're in the mountains, there aren't many home health organizations here, and none take her insurance.

She went into hospice care, and we hired someone to come for a few hours a week. It was supposed to be $37 for two hours, but when I got the bill, they tacked on mileage, so it became $92. We figured it wasn't worth it, so now hospice volunteers visit every now and then, and hospice covers medically necessary appointments. We know we're probably going to take care of her until she dies, unless she gets to a point where I can't take care of her.

It was a huge change in our lifestyle

We haven't been traveling since November, and I haven't been away from her for more than three hours at a time. My mom is deaf, and it would've been challenging to deal with that from afar.

My mom is somewhat independent still. She can dress herself and go about her day. I wake up every morning and make sure she's still in bed, then I turn on her coffee maker. I bring her breakfast over and leave notes about what she should do, like how to use the microwave. I check on her every half hour until she finally gets up. I come over before lunch to give her pills, eat lunch with her, and then sit with her until the afternoon, when she watches TV by herself. She can't cook dinner, so my partner cooks all her meals, and we bring them over.

The trailer has a bedroom at the back, then a small bathroom, kitchen, and living room. The rooms are big enough for her to guide her walker through, and because of how narrow it is, it lessens the fall risk. They had an old-fashioned bathtub that you had to step over to get in, but the woman who owns the trailer park hired a guy to lower the height. We also had to install railings on the porch. The kitchen has an electric stove, which is great because a gas stove isn't good when someone has dementia, because they can accidentally light a fire.

Tech has helped me take care of her remotely

One of the biggest nightmares is that people with dementia can't work the TV and telephone. She got to the point where she could barely use the remote, and she would start pushing buttons and would not stop.

I had come across JubileeTV, a TV system that lets you change channels remotely. The price wasn't prohibitive for us. The Jubilee remote replaced the Roku remote and came with a cover, so the buttons she can actually press are limited to volume and channels. If I'm out at the store, I can use the telescope function to see what she's done with the TV and get it back to what she wants to watch.

I often call her, so it comes up on the TV, and she uses closed captioning so she can read what I'm saying. The app has an automatic connect function because my mom wouldn't be able to answer a call or find the buttons to do so. The communication function also allows my sons to call her, and her hospice nurses can do the same.

I have used the app's drop-in function to look in and see if she's OK. I use that in conjunction with Blink cameras to make sure she doesn't fall. Those have been important because my mom has fallen a lot since she moved here. I probably check on her three or four times during the night and frequently during the day. One time, she put Dawn dishwashing soap in her glass of water because she wanted to add flavor, so I've had to stop her from doing unsafe things a few times.

I also have smart plugs from Alexa that let her control her radiator heater and other electronics. She has a cheap laptop that I put the Google Live Transcribe app on.

Tech has helped me in so many ways, and seeing her age at home has been somewhat stress-relieving.

Website builder Wix has laid off 20 percent of its staff, amounting to 1,000 employees, Reuters and others have reported.

On May 28, Wix cofounder and CEO Avishai Abrahami shared his internal message to the Wix team on X, stating that the reasons behind the layoff are the strengthening of the Israeli shekel against the U.S. dollar (Wix is an Israeli company) and the "fast evolution of AI capabilities."

"As the majority of our teams are Israel-based, a very meaningful portion of our costs are shekel-denominated, while our revenue is largely dollar-denominated," Abrahami wrote of the former. "This creates a structural pressure on our ability to operate at our current scale. It is a reality that directly shapes what is sustainable for our company."

In terms of AI, Abrahami wrote that companies need to adapt to AI changes in order to compete, and that "We are moving to a structure with fewer levels between any member of our leadership and the most junior person on the team."

It's only the latest announcement of a major tech company laying off workers to usher in AI, including Meta, Snap, Amazon, and Pinterest. A Dec. 2025 report stated that AI was linked to 50,000 job cuts last year.

I love the Ferrari Luce. Not because I'm a Ferrari fan or want to buy one, but because it's made me richer.

Since the Luce was unveiled earlier this week, a storm has raged across the internet. It's clear there's no brand in the world that's as much a religion, and no product that's worshipped as passionately, as a Ferrari. Even, and especially, by people who'll never be able to afford one.

Why does that make me richer? Because classic Ferraris have become even more attractive and valuable. Classic Ferraris have always been my passion. Now they're becoming my retirement fund.

A love for the classics

I've been driving Ferraris for 25 years. As a child from a modest background, I bought my first Ferrari with my first severance pay. It was a fiery red Ferrari 328 GTB, and although the car was pretty mediocre, the whole thing seemed like an incredible adventure to me — the kid from a rough neighborhood — in a car with that prancing horse on the steering wheel.

Twenty-five years later, there are four black Ferraris in my garage, and there is hardly anything in my life — aside from my sons — that brings me such joy as these useless but magnificent sports cars. In their restless irrationality, they shake every cell of my otherwise rational and rigorous life.

Enzo Ferrari once said that with Ferrari, you're really just buying the engine — and getting the rest of the car for free. That has always been the brand's Archimedean point. And perhaps that is precisely what explains the confusion surrounding the new electric Ferrari Luce.

A dislike of the new

An electric car has, at first glance, nothing to do with the heroism of the old Lampredi or Colombo engines. It no longer possesses fascinating mechanics, no vibrating heart of metal. It rather resembles a digital device on wheels. The moral significance of modern mobility simply looks like the Luce. The heroization of mobility, on the other hand, looks like a Challenge Stradale, an F40, or a 250 GTO.

How much Ferrari is a brand close to people's hearts is evident in the fierce reactions of those who may never own one yet still feel a deep emotional connection to it. For them, it is not reality that is crumbling, but a myth. There are few brands worldwide that evoke such quasi-religious reactions.

Ferrari's concept has always been to translate the brutal and the raw into the most elegant and sophisticated aesthetics imaginable and bring them into the present. The Luce, on the other hand, employs a form of mimicry that borders on the childish.

In places, the car is reminiscent of a Flintstones car or those Playmobil vehicles with which children embark on their first imaginary highway rides through the sandbox. Of course, both CEO Benedetto Vigna and Chairman of the Supervisory Board John Elkann were likely aware of the potential for sacrilege inherent in such a design.

With Marc Newson and Jony Ive, Ferrari brought in two designers from the digital world. They didn't want to hide the electric innards behind nostalgic forms. On the contrary, they built, in a sense, an anti-Ferrari. The logo is no longer proudly displayed, but almost demonstratively embossed. A clever, almost philosophical punchline.

The Luce seems almost deliberately alien in places, almost like an object without geographical origin, without cultural memory. While older Ferraris looked as if they belonged on country roads around Lake Como or among the curves of southern French coastal roads, the Luce seems to come from the abstract space of the digital present — from a world that is everywhere and nowhere at the same time.

That "everywhere and nowhere" nature of digital space is coolly acknowledged and consistently implemented in this car. While the old entrepreneurs were still heroes of an analog industrial age — men who, even after work, would take breakneck drives in their Ferraris (and I still very much enjoy doing so) — today's digital founders and multimillionaires often define their worldview precisely in contrast to this old-school entrepreneurship. It is a car for emotionally detached intellectuals with no need for compensatory status symbols.

The memes about the Luce ultimately show one thing above all: How emotionally charged this brand remains to this day. Everyone loves Ferrari. The Luce seems to violate the realm of dreams and desires.

The value of the classics

Perhaps the Luce will go down in Ferrari history as its boldest gamble. Or perhaps as a spectacular dead end. The only certainty is this: Ferrari has decided to attempt this transformation not cautiously, but radically. And in that alone lies a remnant of that old Ferrari megalomania that has always made this brand so fascinating.

The Luce is, at the same time, a car of radical anti-distinction. Precisely because it looks like a Nissan, it makes itself small, almost inconspicuous — even though highly valuable technology is hidden beneath its exterior: a powertrain concept with over 1,000 horsepower, designed to accelerate the Luce to up to 310 km/h on the highway.

Who cares, though? Somebody recently called and offered me a lot of money for my black Testarossa. He saw the video of my triumphant ride the day after the Luce presentation.

"I don't sell," I replied. I never will. I'm the guardian angel of Enzo Ferrari's spirit.

Meta faces employee backlash over tracking tool

In April, Reuters reported that Meta would track U.S. employees' mouse movements and keystrokes to train its AI agents. Weeks later, Meta laid off 8,000 employees, citing its AI push. Now, the company is facing backlash from remaining employees over the tracking tool, called Model Capability Initiative (MCI), which may also violate European Union privacy rules, Reuters reports.

Last month, the company apparently told U.S. employees that it launched MCI to track how they work — including clicks and dropdown menu navigation — to build AI agents that can perform software tasks, Reuters reported. They were also told this would only impact employees in the U.S. and that privacy safeguards were in place.

Some employees have already complained about MCI, calling Meta an "Employee Data Extraction Factory," Reuters reported. One complaint is that the tool is using so much data that workers' home internet usage has spiked, and in some cases, using a month's quota in days. Another complaint is that MCI is more over-reaching than Meta lets on, extending to code changes, a computer's sleep and wake cycles, and URLs copied to a computer's clipboard.

An internal post about this apparently disappeared, two Meta employees told Reuters. Meta spokesperson Dave Arnold told the outlet that the post was "fundamentally inaccurate."

In a document reviewed by Reuters, Meta stated that MCI would capture the contents of any email or direct message sent to U.S. employees, regardless of the sender's location. According to a legal expert who spoke to Reuters, this may violate the EU's General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). The question is whether data collection of EU resident data is considered "incidental" and whether the tool can pass a "purpose limitation" test.

Arnold told Reuters that MCI was installed only on U.S. employees' computers and that, "In the interest of transparency, we notified non-U.S. employees ‌that it was deployed on the computers of U.S. colleagues they may email or ⁠chat with in the normal course of business."

"We carefully considered and mitigated potential privacy risks in both the development and deployment of this tool, and we are committed to complying with applicable laws and regulations," Arnold stated to Reuters.

Earlier this month, Mashable reported that Meta (along with Google and TikTok) faces complaints from the EU regarding protections against financial scams.

Layoffs at other major tech companies this year, including Snapchat, Amazon, and Pinterest, have been pinned on AI. In 2025, AI was linked to 50,000 job cuts.

My sister is married, recently bought a house, and is pregnant with her second child.
I'm two years older, single, child-free, and renting in a shared community house.
I'm happy for my sister, but sometimes feel jealous. I'm learning to embrace my own path.

I'm a single 30-something renting in a community house in central Vancouver, where I can enjoy everything the city offers. I work a flexible freelance schedule, and fill my time with friends, new hobbies, and traveling.

In so many ways, I truly love my life. I know I'm lucky.

But I'm also ready to find a partner and start building a life together.

This dream sometimes feels far away, especially when I start comparing myself to other people, like my sister, who is married, has recently bought a house, and is pregnant with her second child.

She's one of my best friends, and I am genuinely thrilled for her. But I still feel jealous at times.

I struggle with comparison sometimes

My sister and I have always been close and see each other weekly. Having her, my brother-in-law, and nephew is a privilege, and I'm genuinely so happy for them.

Sometimes, when I compare our lives, jealousy creeps in. I look at her beautiful family and think, "Why can't I have that?" It's hard to admit this; I sometimes feel guilty that I can't just "be happy for her."

I think it's common to fall into this comparison trap. When looking at other people's lives, it's easy to see where I'm "behind" in terms of career, family status, income, house, or other areas. It's particularly hard when cultural or societal standards dictate where I "should" be in my thirties, even if it's an outdated expectation.

But there's really something behind the truism, "comparison is the thief of joy." Getting caught up in it can cause unnecessary pain, which is something I never want to impact my relationship with my sister.

Both things can be true at once

While comparison is human nature to some degree, I don't want to get stuck there. A helpful mindset shift for me is recognizing how two things can be true at once.

I can be excited for my sister's life, and I can feel disappointed that I don't have the same. I can even feel both grateful and sad over things in my own life.

One emotion doesn't negate the other — both things are true at the same time. And by acknowledging all emotions, I can stop dwelling so much on the negative ones and embrace the good.

I'm learning to live my life as it is now

I'm not perfect at it, but this mindset has helped me embrace where I am today, instead of wasting energy comparing myself to my sister or anyone else. I can embrace my unique story and appreciate all the good things in my own life, and in my sister's life, too.

While I still want a partner, a house, and a family one day, I'm also grateful for what my life without them affords, like time freedom and opportunities to travel or have new experiences.

Ultimately, learning to accept the mixed emotions we all experience in life is helping me embrace my own path and make the most of life today.

The free 9Now platform has shown Love Island USA in Australia since season 5. However, Aussies have to wait to see all the dating hijinks from the States, as episodes don't arrive Down Under until after a few months. The platform currently carries seasons 6 and 7.

Where to watch Love Island USA in the UK

While the free-to-watch online streaming platform ITVX is the place to watch the latest episodes of Love Island USA when they arrive in the UK, there's always a delay before you can watch the newest season. It's usually 5-6 months after they originally premiere in the US. You can currently watch seasons 5-7 on the streaming service.

Where to watch Love Island Australia in Australia

Love Island Australia cracked on in 2018 and soon became one of the best-loved versions around the world. Aussies get to watch daily episodes on the Nine Network's flagship Nine channel on TV, with installments available for simulcast and on demand on the 9Now streaming platform (which also holds a full archive of all previous episodes).

ITVX is the online home to Love Island Australia in the UK. Over the last couple of years, the new series has started roughly a month after it began Down Under, so not too long to wait! Love Island All Stars

It goes out for free on ITVX and 9Now in the UK and Australia, with Peacock holding the rights in the US. Season 3 of the hit series began airing new episodes in early 2026.

Love Island Games

Love Island Games is a more playful show than the OG, with more old Islanders returning to enjoy some weeks in paradise and competing in a parade of physical and mental games to try to be crowned winners. Much like Love Island USA (see above), Ariana Madix is now on hosting duties, and season 2 went out originally on Peacock and CTV/Crave. Brits and Aussies typically have to wait for this one before episodes land on ITVX and 9Now.

Love Island Beyond the Villa

In 2025, Peacock launched a sister show called Beyond the Villa that caught up with the Love Island season 6 contestants to see how their relationships and lives had progressed since they left the villa. There are two seasons on Peacock in the US, and some episodes are available to stream for free on 9Now in Australia.

Pornhub launches Pornhub Sapphic, a site dedicated to lesbian content

Women-loving-women now have their own dedicated site on Pornhub.

Today, the ubiquitous tube site is launching Pornhub Sapphic, a space dedicated to lesbian and nonbinary content and creators. Pornhub Gay has been around for awhile, so it's about time sapphics (which include lesbians, bisexual women, and typically any non-man who loves non-men) have a site of their own.

The move makes sense, considering that many women watch lesbian content on Pornhub. In 2022, lesbian was by far women's favorite category on the site, and women watched scissoring content 155 percent more than men. Last year, "lesbian" was the most-viewed video category overall. Searches for scissoring, lesbian MILF, and strap-on content soared.

Pornhub Sapphic will be "built for the female gaze," according to a press release shared with Mashable, and designed for WLW audiences. The site will apparently be free of male-targeted ads like penis enlargement promos.

"Pornhub Sapphic was created in direct response to feedback from lesbian, queer, and straight women who told us they wanted an experience that felt made for them," Pornhub's vice president of brand and community, Alex Kekesi, stated in the press release.

"By working with creators and users, we've built a space where women-loving-women content is featured and celebrated," Kekesi continued. "For viewers, it's about providing women with a dedicated place to explore and enjoy adult entertainment with their experiences and desires in mind."

The launch of Pornhub Sapphic also features prominent sapphic creators like The JellyFilledGirls.

"We know firsthand how much demand there is for authentic women-loving-women content," The JellyFilledGirls also stated in the press release. "We're thrilled to welcome Pornhub Sapphic and be part of bringing it to the sapphic community."

Pornhub has made headlines recently for more political reasons, usually related to age-verification laws. These laws require viewers to submit their government ID, facial scan, or other method to prove they're of age. Last month, Pornhub's parent company, Aylo, sued Utah and delayed the enforcement of a new law banning VPNs for porn sites. Pornhub also reinstated itself in the UK after a self-imposed block, due to the introduction of device-level age filters on some Apple devices.
