To avoid confusion with the previous guide, i decided to come out with a brand new guide... All by myself..

However there are seafood restaurant along the beach starting from 530pm on wards, walking distance from Hotel.

If you want massage better head to Nagoya. *Hitch the cab from Hotel, cheaper than taxi. 50,000/way only. you can pre-arrange them to pick you up.

Why am i blogging XDL??? ♣only now??♣

Because i really like this outlet in JEM, right in time when i am kinda of "dislike the rundown outlet in bugis ☻"

This place is like the outlet at "NEX" although it is pricy than Bugis/ Cheong Chin Nam (Bt Timah) however it is worth... freshness and spacious..:P

I do like this pot.. at least you are responsible to your own cooking, no need to clear for others...

Nevertheless, it could be GOOD... because you can keep ordering.... and wont feel too full so easily/ fast

Batam 2013 - Swiss BelHotel

Swiss BelHotel review:

We arrived at 930am on Sat, as usual cannot check-in early.

1.LATE PICK UP
Settled and took the hotel taxi to Nagoya (only $50,000RP) arranged a return service 1945hr to pick us at Spa Secret, but were late. Hotel phone number couldnt get through. lucky i have the manager's mobile number in my email which i could retrieve.
(THEY ACTUALLY HAVE ANOTHER GUEST TO PICK AND "FORGOTTEN ABOUT US")

2. POOR ROOM
AIR-CON was not working well, fridge wasnt cold (even till next morning, well its cool but not chill)

3. POOR ROOM SERVICE
due to faulty fridge, we requested 2 jar of ICE. but it took 20mins to be sent to our room.... ||| we are 'hungry' for a drink

4. VERY BAD / UNHELPFUL COUNTER SERVCIE
1st we requested for a smoking room, i was that told its a weekend and none are left
(but she dont feel sorry at all, OR are they not "friendly" toward AGODA client.)
2nd called room service no answer, so we went down to borrow a “bottle opener” at the front desk.
SELF SERVICE, I was told to walk over to restaurant to borrow

5. DISAPPOINTING BREAKFAST
In Batam hotel breakfast, I usually go for the omelette, as the safest to have….Sorry it failed in Swiss Belhotel
-Porridge were cold
- too many food fly, I dare not consum
- tried so many I already give up the idea to try the waffle
- grill tomato, but the top were not grilled?
- good spread, but low quality

6. SLOW RESPOND
We are catching a ferry at 1415hr, we went back to hotel to pick our belonging at 1430, dragged till 1445 we still have yet to get our things…
That’s too slow

However the location is a good BUY, very near to ferry terminal, even if it rain u won’t be drench.
I will give it a try again and hope it get better…

Shabu Shi is my fav place in BKK.... start off the day with a great meal, fully charge for the killing! ☻

What so "like" about this place?

Buffet ♫ Sushi belt style
cheap ♫ 250baht/ person
nice sliced pork *mister P just can stand how much sliced i took*
quick service ♫ basically "throw" you to the seat, get you the soup dada~~ tuck in.
only 90mins ♫ u will have more time for your shopping
Seats ♫ although its "bar" sitting, very comfortable still.
Soup ♫ Love~~ the chicken/ tom yum soup
Convenient ♫ many outlet in BKK *Central world, Big C, Siam Center, MBK, etc etc...

Here some tips:

1. Get whatever you want from the belt, get as much as possible

because you wont know when is it coming again

usually come out in a "lot/batch"

stack up the plate, everyone doing the same

2. You can also get extra food from the staff too

3. FREE Flow drinks, best to sit near the drink station

4. Q may look scary.... take a q number and wait... 50/50 if you reach at a time most ppl leaving... then you will get a seat fast.. and usually 1/2 pax will get a seat faster

5. there are FREE Ice Cream too

6. "Bar" Sitting come with individual pot, whereby 6pax seatings are "yuan yang" pot with divider.

Wanna visit Greyhound, however unexpected random explore we ended at "Another Hound" instead.
We din even know till we are back in Singapore. :P that there a few kind of "hound"

We were staying at Budaaco, the hotel with best location EVER!!! especially for people like who love street food...

It's only less than 5mins walk to massage parlor!!

Never failed... never ever had breakfast in hotel.. in fact we walk down the street to this "auntie" fried rice and our FAV! Thai Tae

*direction*

1. From budacco hotel, out from the lane TURN RIGHT

2. All the way straight till you reach a right turning lane

3. She's right before the lane.... *opposite 7-11*

The fried rice 有妈妈的味道 (flavor of family style)
Most importantly! She speak mandarin ♫she is chinese♫, which solved all my fussy request "no vege, onion, fried onion" blah blah
Add Omelette
can request to add chilli padi too
NOTE: she's closed on Sunday...(she say she's going for prayer at temple)
opening hours: 0630 - till finish ♥est 0930 - 1000♥

At night Mister P wanna try the prawn, told him HEAD BIG = NOTHING and he dont buy my story

End up..... he never wanna try again.

After our massage there is always a push cart, uncle selling grill sotong / sausage/ meat blah blah....
too bad i din manage to take his photo.. *PS: he move around pratunam area*

Not really hard to find, easily spotted on the other side of the Siam Sq *away from BTS*

The shop is rather small, less than 18pax at 1 time. very fast pace - Sit, Order, Eat and GO! *pay upon ordering*

A bit mafan, so squeezy still gonna get off your sit to order..... |||

They serve fast, but eyes are strong too... you can feel someone, some people watching you while you eat.....so stressful.

♥♥♥♥♥Their mango are fresh, but... what's the possibilities you will get bad mango on street? you make the call if its worth to visit or not. ♥♥♥♥♥

We were early and there are NO Q, uh! without 2nd thots we 'cheong' in for dessert (before lunch....)

price & location of this hotel is fantastic, however do take note there are some room with awful smell and.... a pillar in the room!! duhz! |||

For the price i paid i would except something better than this. (we paid SGD60 per room per night with breakfast)

Furniture is wear-off, even the flooring... but! if you are there for a night after a dead-hard shopping - this hotel is still ACCEPTABLE

PLUS+++ what i love most was the shower head.... strong (but a bit..too strong..)
