I was actually looking forward for my b'day in 2012, but I guess I never learned my lessons. How would I know that someone actually pulled my strings & made me a puppet during my b'day. From a Rocketeer to a Puppeteer.

Yesterday, (10th of Janu_fuckin-Ry) I actually went to LCCT drove almost 2 hours to & fro.... from KL & only to know "she" postponed the trip to today instead. Well... to me it was a blessing in disguise "then". Coz I was super busy yesterday as I plan to free up my schedule & take a day off on my b'day. The reason is so that I could spend my time with the "puppeteer" today which is the 11th of Janu-fuckin-Ry!!!

I went to LCCT again today but I only reach Kg Pandan roundabout before i made a "u-turn" just before the junction of the MEX h'way. This i becoz, i received an SMS telling me to not come to pick her up & she's supposed to call me. And till this very moment, I'm still waiting for her call, sms, ym or twit. Yet..."Nothing"! Smlm dia cakap dia sms 2 kali bagitau dia pospon... tapi satu patah haram pun tak dpt... takpe... aku kan penyabar... mungkin signal tepon or internet or apa2 lah. U should never rely 100% to technology. There's always flaws of messages didnt get thru & yada yada yada. Ive danced to that song many times before & even sang that tune too.

So... takpe... tak marah smlm.... tapi hari ni? It's the cherry on top of the icing. Hmmm siap tanya nak apa b'day? & i said tak payah... by her being here is already a feel good prezzie for me. Yup yup yup.... i've lowered my expectations as she has mentioned that no way we can be together due to "who i am". Its a painful pill to swallow & i did swallow it painfully.

Then that simple message in YM saying that she plans to come on the 13th Jan for shopping... that itself made me happy coz i'll be able to meet her again... but with lower to no expectation this time.... then she dropped a bigger surprise that she would liek to come earlier so that she can celebrate my b'day with me! Isn't that uber-sweet???? I told myself. ok hold your horses kerry.... she's doing this strictly out of friendship & nothin more. I'm down with that... i'm down with that says my heart & mind.

By end of the day... pendek kan cerita... dia tak dtg pun arini? Apa kes? aku pun tak paham kenapa? kenapa buat camni kat aku? aku buat apa kat dia sampai aku kena camni? Tak call or sms or YM or twit or whatever pun nak bagitau tak jadi... aku cam bodoh je drive ke sana.... bukan sekali... DUA KALI!!!

& guess how did i spend my bday??? at home mcm bodoh. nasib baik la ada abang aku teman main 2 game FIFA 12. Tapi yg paling best... dpt makan breakfast dgn Gwen spontaneously. Tu pun sbb bday aku dia teman aku. Kalau tak makan sorg je. Comel la Gwen ni.... baik je layan aku.... hmmmm Sabahan is famous for their hospitality in nature. Which is so true. Lupa marah & panas dlm hati sat. Tapi lepas dia balik.... sambung rasa bengang..... apa la kerry ni.... asyik kena tipu dgn pompuan je.... suka sgt gadaikan hati & jantung utk pompuan main2kan..... adehhhhh

Lunch tadi dgn Farid... luahkan kat dia... semua ni... tu je la satu2 kawan yg bole bawak borak2 pasal ni. Lepas lunch kat cozy house GE mall.... balik umah.... reply to all my FB & twitter bday wishes..... letih wohhhh but i dont have a life... so aku reply each & every message tau.... nobody is spared. baik tak aku??? hmmmm alahai.. felt like a fuckin loser today.

hmmm its wednesday.... & i felt like drowning my sorrows. should i go to Rootz tonite & enjoy ladies nite on my bday? hmmmm... takde mood langsung.... i just wanna watch movie... makan2 & borak2... tu je... tak susah teman aku ni.... hmmmmm

in conclusion.... this bday SUCKS!!!!

Twenty Twelve Wishlist #2: a new pair of Oaks

The last time i got meself a pair of shades was the Olive coloured OIL DRUM from Oakley. And if I'm not mistaken it was in 2005 kot? Gila lama. I still have it but the lens are pretty much damaged. Thought of replacing the lense but it'll cost me abt rm200-250 for it. Bila pikir2 balik, kalau tambah lagi rm150-rm200 boleh dpt a new pair. The thing is, i still love the Oil Drum design & most of the shops dah takde stok except the one in Ampang Point. Tapi rasa bazir la beli yg sama kan? Tgk yg Dark Bronze (rootbeer) & Brown Smoke geram plakkkk. Even the black framed with yellow (contrast) lense pun cunnnnnn. Mcm corporate colour fusionwerks lak.... hehehe.

Tapi lepas belek2 cemata oakley ni... ada gak model2 lain yg menyayat hati seperti yg dibawah
ni.... From the top: EYE PATCH 2, FUELCELL (infinite hero/max fear), OILRIG (tapi ni dah lebig kurang Oil Drum & similar to jomey's :P) & the GASCAN.

....Tapiiiiiiiiiiii skrg... on top of my fave list is the BATWOLF series... The design is a cross between the OIL RIG series & the FUEL CELL series. What makes it more interesting & cooler is that the "Oakley" logo is interchangeable. Check it out below... I'm in loveeeeeee!!!!

Went for RETAIL THERAPY just now & i went to Tower Records just for fun. Coz i was looking for Joe, Brian McKnight & Jagged Edge latest album... but end up buying something else.... & goshhhh it was goddamned cheap wehhhhhhh! These are original CDs & some imported ones as well.

How cheap? Dya know how much i paid for all these CDs? All 13 CDs & some double CD albums..... for... only RM85!!! I shit u not!!! It's dirt cheap! When it comes to quality music... I dont believe in downloading. Coz u wanna support em kan? hehehehe....

Now boleh la belagak cakap camni... sbb murah gils! Anyway... I had fun shopping these! Now listening to em.... best gila! R&B galore!!!

Got your attention didn't i? I dont think it was the topic but it was the picture wasn't it? hehehe....

At first it was friendster. The place were i met my ex. A social app for ppl to meet old friends or make new friends. To cut the story short.. that was friendster, then it was myspace that comes with blogging which was the craze then & uploading videos. Myspace then dug their own grave with the "customization". Suddenly facebook came along & i registered but it was boring at 1st despite having lotsa hot babes pictures/profiles uploaded for us to rate or vote. Thats pretty much it... as time goes by... Facebook picked up the pace & overtook friendster & myspace... up till now.

What's best about facebook was the status update & whatever posted on the wall for ppl to see, vote or comment. People are getting more kepohchik then ever... termasuk lah aku! But hey, I love FB because its wehere i get to meet old friends, long lost friends & relatives. It kept us close & there are times whatever we post can tear that relationship apart as well....

Hence, the creation of Twitter! The ultimate kepohchik app strictly for kepohchiks & vainglorious people... who are in denial that they are. (yipes!) Most people tweet based on where they are or what they did...etc. So, because of that... comes the creation of FourSquares pulak. Where it is strictly for those who wants to tell where they are or were. Now.... aha! Aha!!!!!!!

With Foursquare, parents can imply a rule to their children to "check-in" wherever they are, so they can check on em or even girlfriends or wives, or boyfriends or husbands to imply the same rule to their other half. So they can keep an eye on em... so they say. But with this, it is a perfect tool to lie & abuse. But to some ppl like me.... ekhemmm... i love those little badges which i like to collect just like those little toys that comes with the happy meals in limited time only! And i'm guilty on seeking those "mayorship" too.

Now... what else ppl are kepohschik about? kepohchik about your daily status or thoughts... would be facebook. kepohchik about what you are doing now or what picture u took is twitter & twitpic.... kepohchik about where u r or where uve been... then... there's foursquares.... Now....hmmmm... whats next?

I think the next kepohchik app would be "WHAT YOU BOUGHT"? or "WHERE YOU'VE SHOPPED" or "HOW MUCH YOU'VE PAID FOR IT". Trust me... I think this will be the next craze! Ppl would like to know where their idol shop, eat or what flavour they like, or how much they paid for it, or whether its cheaper or more expensive then the market. Advertisers then would keep track on the user's shopping habits & offer them some loyalty programmes or discounts.... heck... they can even purchase items with their airtime even. Soon ebay & amazon will race to be the premium "partner" for this app.

So... do lemme know if this app already exist coz if not... come... lets work it out & who knows we can make big bucks out of it.... hehehe... nahhhhh... i'm not here for the money... i'm just here to be kepohchik on "WHAT's NEXT" on our social activity app exodus!

Thank you for giving me the strength, believe & hope that I'm able to stand up & being alive again. You came from nowhere & lifted up my spirit. Melted my heart where it used to be an icebox. I was lost, down & dispirited... & it was a simple smile of yours that makes me feel warm & fuzzy all over. I can't remember when was the last time someone could make me fell dizzy & gives that "butterfly in the tummy" feeling.

I guess God must've sent u to me as an angel. And now I'm back on my feet again... & she flies away. Maybe she doesn't want to stay. Maybe her task was to make me believe in myself again. To make me believe that I'm able to "love" again. Despite not getting the love back, I'm happy enough to have known that Angel. The Angel who doesn't fly with wings but uses a Rocket to fly. Hehehehe...

Little that she know, she already has my heart... stolen from me & I let her, though she doesn't know it. I guess, to love is better than to not love it all.

Elimination & King of the Hill game at Tanamera

We won the 1st elimination game of 11 (us) vs 12 (them) & the game lasted for 40minutes. We got 5 of them down, meaning it was 11 of us against 7 of them at the 1st 10minutes. I guess i was becoming restless & wanted to charge with guns blazing. That's when i got creamed on my head & hands, while joey was having shots on his head & his crotch, which almost got to his balls..... fuhhhhhhhhh nasib baikkkkk.

by end of the day... we had 3 survivors & we got the enemy's flag & eliminate them all. Our strategy of counter attacking & holding the flanks work. I guess it is true, the best form of offense is defense & counter attack!

The 2nd game was King of the Hill. Teams are split into 3. Blue team... taking the left flank (our team), Yellow team, from the right flank & the defending team who holds the high ground where the flags from each team should be planted.

Before the game commence, we struck a truce with the yellow team & agreed to take down the hill's defenders 1st, then only we fight each other, which works well coz the defenders had to defend from both flank. They expected for Blue & yellow team to fight it off & the victor takes on them. I guess being "LOKI" paid off.... hahaha. But the sad thing is, the yellow team won as they manage to plant their flag 1st. That's the advantage of having more speedballers in your team when it comes to speed & firepower. Our are filled with woodsballers.... hahahahhaha.... but itu semua alasan... by end of the day... the best team wins.... Hats off to team yellow!!!

In an era that tells us to keep rushing – from the time we are children – to reach the next milestone of life, it’s hard to keep our priorities straight. Mix in an overload of media, internet, competition, and pop culture, and it becomes almost impossible to hear yourself think.

In order to properly prioritize your life, you need to take a step back and reassess where you are investing your time and energy. Alongside this, in my opinion, it becomes quite beneficial (necessary, in fact) to keep yourself accountable for every single decision you make. It doesn’t matter how big or small each decision is – rather, it matters that you make every decision consciously and purposefully according to your priorities and goals.

At this point in my life, I feel that it makes most sense to prioritize ourselves in this order:

1. Health - Of mind, of body. Keep yourself in shape. Aerobic exercise is a must, along with other recreational or occasional forms of exerting physical energy. Interestingly, studies have shown that regularly exercising and accomplishing physical challenges will automatically keep your mind sharper and happier. In addition, it will embolden you to accept other non-physical challenges. Moreover, your brain needs mental stimulation on a regular basis – outside of family or work. Read the news. Read books. Stay up on what’s going on in the world, what happened in history, and how it relates to your perspectives. Practice artistic hobbies and express your views while reflecting on the beauties of life. Be aware of yourself, your words, your actions. Groom your body and practice good hygiene. Maintain regular schedules of sleeping, eating, and otherwise as described here. More than anything, don’t obsess over your health – be moderate, and enjoy it.

2. Relationships - Family, friends, and people that YOU care about seem to be a logical secondary life priority after you take care of yourself. In fact, studies have shown that people who do volunteer work or show regular compassion or generosity to others are more likely to be happy and satisfied with their own life goals and accomplishments. In addition, laughing is said to help oxygenate your blood stream, and a smile is said to require less energy than a frown. Maintaining positive relationships with the people you love is vitally important to a balanced life as it will seemingly create a “give and take” cycle between you and others. Ultimately, though, don’t spend too much time on people you don’t care about, or people that always let you down. This sounds harsh, but such actions will only negatively impact your a) health and b) relationships overall.

3. Career and Purpose - Keep your long-term goals and identity in mind with every decision. Contrary to popular sayings, a job is not “just a job”… rather, like they address in the movie Repo Men, “you are what you do.” In the old days, most people wound up falling into whatever industry their father was in – farming, fishing, carpentry, textiles, blacksmith, etc. In the postmodern age, however, we have the blessing, and curse, of having too many options. It has the effect of making life decisions harder – overwhelming, at times, as we decide on education, training, where to live, which subcultures to be a part of, and what career paths to pursue. Moreover, sometimes we don’t have a choice, during bad economic times or between jobs or schools, and we fall into random opportunities. Rather than getting caught up in the crazy speed and confusion of the modern world, challenge yourself to make decisions according WHO and WHAT you want to be. Got rejected from medical school but haven’t given up? Then find a job in the meantime and remain focused on your ultimate goals. At all costs, do not remain stagnant or hesitant for too long. You can only learn more about yourself, and more about your purpose, by moving around and trying various things. Here is a fascinating and inspiring rundown about life purpose you should check out.

4. Fun & Satisfaction - Don’t live for tomorrow, live for today. Enjoy life. Pleasure is so important and brings the cycle of life priorities back to #1, which is your own personal health and well-being. There are funny differing opinions and wordings regarding the idea of being content or satisfied. Some people believe that to live an energetic, happy, and interesting life, you must “never be satisfied” and keep going and going on to various things. This is intriguing, and I understand what they mean. However, I think it is important as humans to pursue, and consciously acknowledge to ourselves, a certain level of contentment and satisfaction when we accomplish the things we sought to, or when we reach certain encouraging milestones, or when we have a fantastic season of life doing something we enjoy, or something that is truly good, or something that we did with people we love that is just awesome. At the end of the day – no, actually, at any time of any day, you should generally be on the path that you WANT to be on, even if its a short diversion or pause. You should never live for “one day” or worry about tomorrow constantly. Today was yesterday’s tomorrow, and such a cycle is so dangerous. Have fun with people, marvel at the beauty of the natural world, listen to music, develop your hobbies, travel, and play around with the idea of satisfaction.

Optimistic on MYKL

MYKL is our next exhibition design project that will be held in BSC. A collaboration between BRDB & NST. It's our yearly romance project them which we hope to remain to be of service mutually 'forever'

I'm optimistic abt the project & if this is a go ahead (crossing my fingers), it will be between 1st to 12th February. Yup... to commemorate our Federal Territory Day. Tentatively the exhibition covers the cityscape of KL during its Pre-Merdeka era. Stay tuned for more details....
