Eric G - Conclusion (2001)

Eric G is Erik Grönberg, a composer of electronic music from Sweden, inspired by Klaus Schulze, Tangerine Dream, Synergy and Vangelis.

In 1979 he bought his first real synth - Roland SH-1000, which he still has. One might dismiss this synth as being a very simple preset synth, but in fact the Control Section is very capable. He learned everything about analog synthesis from this synth. In the early 80's he began expanding with a Roland RS-09 Organ/Strings, a Boss DR-55 and a Casio VL-Tone. Korg MS-10 and SQ-10 also made a serious addition. In the 80's, he composed and recorded loads of songs, like 25 full C90 cassette tapes. As time went and he could afford more equipment, he bought a Tascam 368 8-track cassette recorder, which he still uses. He recorded a few of his very best songs from 1978 to 1999, named the result "Conclusion" and sent the demo to several music magazines. In 2001 he started burning CD-Rs at home and sell them, and later, around 2007, SMD was willing to distribute them.

It is one of the few times someone gets the opportunity to listen to so many talented artists from different countries with different backgrounds, and discover their music. Each track is a unique experience for the listener. There is electronic music in a variety of styles: Berlin School, Downtempo, Space Ambient and Dark Experimental music.

Didier Bocquet - Sequences (1981)

Didier Bocquet is a French electronic music composer and musician who was active in the late 1970s and early 1980s. His primary instrument was the keyboard and he was inspired by German artist Klaus Schulze. "Sequences" has a more robotic and mechanical flavor than his other works. Its a work divided into short pieces, specialised in mysteriously epic, heroic and almost symphonic textural synthscaping sequences.

Peter Benisch - Waiting For Snow (1999)

Peter Benisch is a classically trained composer, hailing from Stockholm, Sweden.
Started early developing an interest for synthesizers and computers, and has built some of the synthesizers used in his musical productions.
He is also running the company Frost Network, which builds and sells music-optimised computers.

Started Globe Studios in Stockholm along with old school mate Joel Mull and friends Adam Beyer and Jesper Dahlbäck, where all of them have their own studio.

Releases ambient music under his own name, electro under the name FPU, and is also involved in a lot of collaborations with artists in the heavier techno genre - always aiming at doing something different with every new album.

The SYNthesizer COoperation SYNCO was founded 1984 in Berlin by Frank Klare and Mirko Lüthge. Their first three cassette-only releases were credited to Synco-Music and self-released.
They bought used but still expensive analog equipment from Tangerine Dream and Klaus Schulze like PPG-Modularsystem, Korg MS-Modularsystem, ARP 2600, ARP Odyssey and MiniMoog and composed music in their "Berlin School" style.

Beside being highly active in Russia, Koan has played numerous international trance festivals around the globe.
Koan have been in many years of evolution, trying and testing different hardware and software and finding the limits of their possibilities.

"Argonautica" is in the style of downtempo/ambient/progressive trance.

Gert Emmens & Ruud Heij - Silent Witnesses Of Industrial Landscapes (2008)

Gert Emmens and Ruud Heij first met in 1997, both being member of a Dutch club for Electronic Music lovers. It took a number of years before they started to collaborate, in 2003.
Recording sessions take place in both of the studio's of Ruud of Gert, but after Gert moved to a smaller place, the sessions mostly are in Ruud's studio in Utrecht Netherlands.
The recordings are based on improvisation. When getting together in the studio, Ruud starts to develop a sequence, using on of his sequencers and the huge Symthesizer.COM modular mostly. While Ruud is doing this, Gert tries some melodies and chordchanges over this sequences. Once the sequence is programmed it is just a matter of pressing the record buttion and they start playing and see what happens. During the recording, Ruud changes the sequences. That ;eads to a basic track. Mostly two or three versions are being recorded. Afterwards, it is mostly Gert, who completes the tracks and mixes and masters them.

Code Indigo is one of those hard to categorise electronic avant-garde bands whose music and concept albums cross genres and has wide appeal.
The music is original, with thematic compositions, an imaginative combination of synths, keyboards, guitar, samples and rhythms plus a good helping of experimental, ambient and down tempo chill out influences. The music compares to that of a ‘Blade Runner’ style soundtrack, with Pink Floyd and Art of Noise influences.
The band was founded in 1994 by David Wright and Robert Fox. It has undergone many changes over the years and a different line-up on every release, with only David Wright involved in them all.
Code Indigo released what was reported to be it’s final album ‘Take the Money and Run’ in 2015 and officially stopped live performances the same year.
The current line up is David Wright and Robert Fox (Synths & keys), with Dave Massey (rhythm sequencing and bass programming) and Carys (vocals).

The "E-Live Special Edition" album was released by AD Music in a limited run.

Oophoi is Gianluigi Gasparetti , a composer of ambient electronic music using synths and sampling machines as traditional instruments but also singing bowls, flutes, special percussions (woodchimes, stones, shells, crystal chimes) and processed voices. All his music is recorded using analog-only devices in The Kiva, his studio, which used to be a stall in a XV Century stone country house in the hills of central Italy.

Faryus is Andrey Sadovnikov, an ambient composer from Saint-Petersburg, Russia. He is the founder and director of Faria record company.

Forgotten Rituals was limited to 500 copies and included artwork with photos from the Metropolitan Museum Of Art and the British Museum.
