Talking back about my 21st birthday, it was awesome, and surprising...

Thanks a lot a lot to my beloved boyfriend for coming all the way from Penang to celebrate for me.. and thanks him for all the surprises and presents he've given me.. Thanks my love ♥

He came on de day before and we went to 'Empire Hotel' for buffet dinner.. and surprisingly, while we were having our dessert, 2 of the restaurant staffs came out.. one holding a plate of cake, one behind holding a beautiful flower... it was really unexpected by me.. and surprisingly, a lot of customers around kept looking at us, 'so paiseh, LOL'... and after de birthday song, A LOT of them kept clapping their hands towards us.. why? izzit becoz dey thought a guy gonna propose to me?? hahaha..... anyways, it was really a lovely dinner tat night.. didnt take much pictures tat night, as I was busy looking at my flower when I was walking around.. =P

After dinner, we went to 'Empire Cineplex' for a movie.. only less den 10ppl were inside.. =D and after movie, we went back home, as we've got a lot to do during the next day..

my beloved grandma, daddy, mummy and WeiRen helped out and did all the cooking and stuff, all the food tat night were prepared by us, by them... yum yum yum.... check out the food pictures on facebook later on.. ^^

Summer Break - Last Holiday

My three months summer break holiday gonna end very soon.. which means that my relaxing and studying moment is ending, and it's time for me to proceed to my next stage of life, 'WORK'... Recently I've been busy and stress regarding all these.. as I'm going back aussie, I'll have to prepare for my residency stuff in aussie.. eg, to take IELTS which I havent, do medical checkup, do police report for certificate of good of conduct, and more n more... plus, I havent settle my new accomodation at aussie.. thinking of moving out n yet, havent found an ideal place to move to and havent inspect the property.. will have to wait till we get back before we can do all those...

Anyways, talking back about my summer break, it was really wonderful...

- went back to PENANG to celebrate my love's 21st birthday (took me a long time preparing his surprises)

- went to SEOUL and JEJU ISLAND, KOREA with his family for a week plus..

- went to HATYAI, THAILAND with my family..

- attended Ideal Summit Group Annual Company dinner..

- Chinese New Year in Lawas..

- WeiRen came to Brunei for my 21st birthday..

- lots and lots more...

One day a farmer's donkey fell down into a well. The animal cried piteously for hours as the farmer tried to figure out what to do. Finally, he decided the animal was old, and the well needed to be covered up anyway; it just wasn't worth it to retrieve the donkey.

He invited all his neighbors to come over and help him. They all grabbed a shovel and began to shovel dirt into the well. At first, the donkey realized what was happening and cried horribly. Then, to everyone's amazement he quieted down.

A few shovel loads later, the farmer finally looked down the well. He was astonished at what he saw. With each shovel of dirt that hit his back, the donkey was doing something amazing. He would shake it off and take a step up.

As the farmer's neighbors continued to shovel dirt on top of the animal, he would shake it off and take a step up. Pretty soon, everyone was amazed as the donkey stepped up over the edge of the well and happily trotted off!

MORAL :
Life is going to shovel dirt on you, all kinds of dirt. The trick to getting out of the well is to shake it off and take a step up. Each of our troubles is a steppingstone. We can get out of the deepest wells just by not stopping, never giving up! Shake it off and take a step up.

Remember the five simple rules to be happy:

1. Free your heart from hatred - Forgive.

2. Free your mind from worries - Most never happens.

3. Live simply and appreciate what you have.

4. Give more.

5. Expect less from people but more from God.

farewell.... to a lot of people.. AhFoo is done for his degree, AhYoon is done for her degree, Stephanie is almost done with her degree, I'm also done with my degree.. Time flies... and 3 years just passed like this... Seems like it's just yesterday or lastweek when I first stepped in to this university.. every week passes really fast in university and u've to cope it urself as nobody's gonna nagged you or complaint to your parents when u don attend lectures or tutorials or even remind you to do your homework/assignment.. It's all up on ur own...

Lastnight, we went for Max Brenner dessert with Matthew and Keira who just finish watching their movie.. and met Andy as well with few other friends...

Our degree life has ended... now, it's time for us to go onto our next stage of life...

Want a little tip of Japanese meals?? Here's some of them:

KATSU : a crumbed deep fried pieces of meat, the word "KATSU", is originated from an English word "Cutlet"

DON: a meal in a bowl with rice topped with meat, fish or vegetables

OYAKO DON: a type of "don" topped with chicken omelette, "oya-ko" means "parents-children"

UDON: flour noodle in soup

KARA AGE: soy sauce flavored deep fried chicken

GYOZA: dumpling with pork, cabbage fillings

AGEDASI TOFU: deep fried tofu with soup stock

TAKOYAKI: flour balls with pieces of octopus in it. "TAKO" means octopus, "YAKI" means "grilled"

Last few days, WeiRen and I went to Kitami at Darby Street for lunch... It's really yummy.. and also, cheap during lunch.. you'll be VERY FULL after every meal you have at Kitami and u wont need to eat dinner anymore.. hehe...

WeiRen was quite full since the dinner the night before and therefore he didnt ordered his 'Curry Katsu Don' and so, he ordered Sushi... I ordered my all time favourite 'Oyako Don'... tried Japanese Food in newcastle before?? try Kitami!! it's the cheapest and very very worth meal u'll ever had here.. and also.. if u're craving for japanese food at night, go to the Kitami at Beaumont Street, Hamilton. Why?? Because at night, the one at Darby Street will be much more expensive than the afternoon's menu.. Imagine eating the same meal in de afternoon for $10 and dinner time it costed $20 for the same thing!! So, what are you waiting for?? =D

yesterday was a special day.. as WeiRen juz finished his his exam, he decided to cook and have a small gathering for everyone.. and he decided to cook lastnight.. and so, WeiRen, Kiwi and AhFoo prepared dinner for all of us..

tat's me!!! toothache.... out of a sudden yesterday afternoon I had toothache.. I still have no idea wat's wrong with my tooth... couldnt sleep for the whole night lastnight.. =( went to bed at 11pm but couldnt sleep, in de end took a panadol n hope de pain will be gone... but it's still there... woke up at 4am this morning and couldnt sleep anymore.. might go n see doctor later...

My friend - Get Well Soon

Just done with two papers.. more to go next week.. and while studying half way lastnight, heard from friend that one of my HSC friend got stroke and is in ICU.. slept for two days and juz heard from friend that he juz wokeup...

When I heard from friend that you got stroke, I was really shocked and couldn't believe it..

When you were in ICU for two days, everyone were very worried about you and pray very hard for you..

When I just heard that you juz wokeup, I, together with ALL ur friends, feel happy for you.. We still continue to pray hard for you to get well..

Please get well soon.. Remember to stay strong, and there's still a long way for us to go.. Everyone out there is waiting for your return, to talk with you, enjoy being with you.. Dont ever give up on urself k?? It is not the end of the world yet..

Eventhough we haven't talk for quite some time, but I still remember you as my friend, my special friend... Not only me, but ALL ur HSC friends, IMU friends and all will be there for you always..

New Coins in Malaysia

See the new coins above?? That's right, you didnt see wrongly... It's our "NEW Malaysia Coins"... which will be starting to use in January 2012, by Bank Negara Malaysia... =)

The Malaysian National Bank (BNM) will published their 3rd series of new coins in few months time.. BNM Governor Tan Sri Dr Zeti Akhtar Aziz said that the new coins are in denominations of 5 cents, 10 cents, 20 cents and 50 cents is inspired by the unique characteristics that shape the culture and rich heritage of this country.

"The motive of this coin design features the natural beauty, flora and fauna and traditional handicrafts that can be found in Malaysia" he said at the launching of the 500,000 sets of commemorative coins to mark a series of new coins.

He also said that the new coin series is smaller and lighter for the public to use.

It also has the edge different to facilitate the public and the visually impaired to identify.

The coin which is in yellow and silver colour is made using the latest advance in manufacturing technology coin features which include better security to prevent counterfeiting.

The new metal being used to make these coins are of the type of higher quality and durable.

This new series will be in circulation together with the existing series. Existing series will be removed from the circulation gradually.

The central bank will also work with the financial institutions, businesses and vendors who handle cash to ensure a smooth transition.

"Vendors who operate cash machines will be given a period of six months to modify the machine to facilitate the use of these new coins," said Zeti again.

At the ceremony, he also introduced the new fourth series of bank notes to be launched by Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak in September
