It was a normal, not-so-boring Saturday night when husband started watching funny videos from a local show on YouTube. And after a few hours on YouTube we ended up watching these hilarious videos of Japanese pranks. We just could't stop laughing, yeah we hysterically laughed our asses off! These videos are quite old but will definitely crack you up! If you need a dose of laughter, you've stumbled at the right place. :) Enjoy!

A few minutes ago, I opened my Adsense account and saw that Google has something for me. A warning. (great, just great) It's not something really serious though I need to take action immediately. That is to delete spam comments. This is because I automatically approve comments before. So to fix it, I went through all approved comments and I suddenly missed blogging. I miss blogging something that stirs my readers minds and emotions. And I kinda miss my blog friends. It's just that I wasn't able to post more fun stuffs in this blog, since I have my separate personal blog now (where I also doesn't post regularly to). I just missed this, yeah this, how I spontaneously pour anything. (: Oh well, that's just how it really is. hehehe Anyway, I just finished cleaning all spam comments and that should fix it. (:

I've always been a fan of McDonald's. When I was in college me and my friends enjoyed eating on McDonald's compared with Jollibee (which is also a popular fast food here in the Philippines) When I say college days, that would be about 4-5 yrs. ago. :) Also, McDonald's is my hubby's favorite take-out food. LOL We seldom eat at McDonald's now adays but still we don't miss going their drive through to buy our favorite chicken nuggets, french fries and mcflurry!

And now McDonald's celebrates 30 Years of Magic in the Philippines! Along with this special celebration they had a 4-store (whoah!) re-opening today, September 30.

McDonald's Makati Cinema Square, Greenhills, North Avenue, and Quezon Avenue will once again open its doors to customers, now bearing new modern designs setting the tone for the next 30, 60, 90 years of McDonald's in the country. Pat Robertson infuriates Christian faithful with Alzheimer's comments

Pat Robertson has made many controversial statements over the years, such as suggesting that the Sept. 11 terrorist attacks were God's punishment for the U.S. tolerating abortion and homosexuality. His critics are usually those on the politically opposite spectrum of the conservative Christian leader, or outside the Christian faith.

But the television evangelist's most recent statements -- condoning divorce when a spouse has Alzheimer's -- appears to have offended many Christians who feel it violates the sanctity of marriage and that most cherished of marriage vows: Til death do us part.

The controversy stems from comments Robertson made recently on the "700 Club" program on Christian Broadcast Network. His comments came in response to a caller who said that a friend had begun dating other women while his wife lies seriously ill with Alzheimer's, and justifies it by saying that "his wife, as he knows her, is gone."

Robertson said he agrees with the man: "What he says basically is correct. I know it sounds cruel, but if he's going to do something, he should divorce her and start all over again, but make sure she has custodial care and somebody looking after her."

His co-host pressed Robertson about whether that violates the marriage vows. Robertson responded that Alzheimer's "is a kind of death" and added, "I certainly wouldn't put a guilt trip on you" for choosing divorce in such a scenario.

The comments on Christianity Today's news blog were nearly universal in their criticism and disappointment:

"I am horrified by Robertson's response!" said one.

Underwater Sculptures

I've always admired artists, I admire how they could think of simple things that could definitely take our breathers away. Artist Jason de Caires Taylor creates life-size cement sculptures of people and descend them into the waters of South America. As time passes the sculptures become part of the underwater landscape and slowly become artificial reefs ripe with marine life. The process of experiencing artwork out of a traditional gallery and underwater is described with intimately vivid detail on his site. Wow.

I think this is awesome. Of course, it would probably freak me out if I were to dive down into the ocean without knowing what was down there. I think this is unbelievable. Kudos.This is so beautiful. I don’t know about anybody else, but if I was diving/swiming/boating in the ocean and saw one of those I would probably have a heart attack.

They look creepy right? But truly an amazing art! :)

The Workout Kid

C.J. Senter may or may not be the next Tony Horton or the next Barry Sanders, but he is definitely the next 10-year-old to watch.

Granted, when most people hear "child prodigy," they rightfully raise an eyebrow and wonder who is pulling the strings. Add a workout DVD by a fourth-grader with sculpted muscles to the mix and "cute" can turn to "concerning." But it turns out the story behind "C.J. The Workout Kid" is a lot more inspiring than insidious.

C.J. started working out five years ago when his football coach told him and his teammates to go home over a weekend and get some exercise. He did some push-ups and sit-ups and loved it. Not too long after, he saw a P90X infomercial and loved that too. He's been working out ever since. C.J. does his own routines three times a week, after school and homework, and he's given new names to some old and boring moves, like the burpee, which involves a squat, push-up, and jump. C.J. calls that one the "shredder." He even teaches a class of (mostly older) kids at the gym near where he lives in Locust Grove, Ga.

It's a universal truth that dogs are man's bestfriend and we all accept that fact. Their loyalty has been proven and tested million times in different situations. And just recently a dog is is caught on tape, on the video you can see that he's shivering and disoriented, and is remaining loyally by the side of his fellow canine amid the devastation of the Japanese tsunami.

UPDATE: CNN and the UK Telegraph have both reported that the dogs have been rescued since the footage aired, and are both receiving veterinary care; the more seriously wounded dog is at a clinic in the city of Mito, while the protective spaniel-type dog is receiving care at a shelter in the same town.

Katia Zatuliveter a Russian Spy

Katia Zatuliveter, who is working for Mike Hancock, a Liberal Democrat member of the Commons defense select committee, is to be excluded after MI5 decided the 25-year-old was secretly working for the Russian intelligence service as a "sleeper".

MI5 believes she was purposely aiming Mr Hancock, 64, who has substantial Russian interests and a reputation as a womaniser.

Her arrest is considered to be the first time since the end of the Cold War that a person working in parliament has been charged of spying for the Russians.

Ms Zatuliveter, who was vetted before taking up her post, was arrested by police and Border Agency officials last week and is being held at a secure facility awaiting deportation to Russia. It is believed she was working for the SVR, Russia's foreign intelligence service.

A source said: "Her presence here is not considered to be conducive to national security. There was unhappiness about what she could have access to. The intention is to show her the door."

Questions on defence have been issued to government departments from Mr Hancock's office in recent weeks, including requests for an inventory of Britain's nuclear weapons arsenal, details of nuclear material outside international safeguards and the locations of all submarine bases worldwide. Ministers declined to answer some of the questions.

Mr Hancock said last night that Ms Zatuliveter was not a spy and would be appealing against the deportation order. He said she had done nothing wrong and was sure she would be vindicated.

UFO seen in China

On July 7, something unusual happened near the Xiaoshan Airport in Hangzhou, China. An oddly shaped bright light appeared, forcing the airport to close down and delay 18 flights. Things are now back to normal, but people are wondering, what was that "thing"?

An ABC News article on the mysterious sighting explains that some who witnessed the light are calling it a UFO. But, keep in mind, a UFO doesn't necessarily mean little, green men.

There is plenty of speculation on whether or not the object was some sort of military aircraft or missile. The ABC article explains that a day following the sighting, "an anonymous source told China Daily that authorities already discovered the identity of the UFO after an investigation but could not publically disclose the information because 'there was a military connection.'"

Truth be told, there's not much left to be said. Something weird happened. Nobody knows what it was. And if they do, they aren't saying. Check out the video below and judge for yourself.

Memorial services held for UVa. lacrosse's Yeardley Love

Dozens of people gathered at a funeral home Friday for the viewing of Yeardley Love, a University of Virginia lacrosse player who was slain earlier this week.

The viewing, the first of two to be held Friday at the Ruck Funeral Home in Towson, was restricted to friends and family.

Around a half-dozen members of the Georgetown women's lacrosse team, including one carrying a lacrosse stick, were among a steady stream of people entering the building.

The Virginia women's lacrosse team was expected to attend later Friday.

The 22-year-old Love was found beaten to death in her off-campus apartment on Monday. George Huguely, a member of the Virginia men's lacrosse team, remains jailed on a charge of first-degree murder.

Funeral services for Love will be held Saturday in Baltimore.

In Charlottesville, Va., mourners attending a Roman Catholic Mass honoring Love were reminded to pray for the accused in the case as well.

Father Joseph Scordo told the crowd of about 100 Friday that Christianity calls on believers to not only treat friends and enemies with love, patience and care, but also forgiveness.

George Huguely Has Been Charged with Murder of Fellow UVa Lacrosse Player Yeardley Love

George Huguely, 22, has been charged with first-degree murder of 22-year-old Yeardley Love after police were called to an off-campus apartment on 14th Street around 2:15am Monday May 3 in Charlottesville Virginia according to the Charlottesville Daily Progress. (Pictures of the couple)

George Hugely plays for the University of Virginia men's Lacrosse team and Yeardley Love played for the University of Virginia women's Lacrosse team. Both were fourth year students at the university.

Police are not releasing details of the murder, but according to the Huffington Post, the police have not determined the cause of death at this time, saying only that Yeardley Love's body exhibited signs of physical trauma.

Virginia Lacrosse Player Yeardley Love Dead

Yeardley Love, a women's lacrosse player at Virginia, was found dead in her apartment early Monday morning. George Huguely, a men's lacrosse player at the school, has been charged with first-degree murder in her death.

According to the Washington Post, Charlottesville Police Chief Tim Longo said officers responded to a call at Love's apartment at about 2:15 AM Monday. Although the call reported an alcohol oversdose, officers concluded after observing "the obvious physical trauma to her" that she had actually been murdered. Huguely was arrested at his apartment about four hours later.

Longo said Love and Huguely "have had a romantic relationship but the exact status of that at this time is part of our investigation."

University of Virginia President John Casteen released the following statement, via the Charlottesville Daily Progress:

"Although we know nothing other than what appears in the Charlottesville Police Department's more recent statement, this death moves us to deep anguish for the loss of a student of uncommon talent and promise, and we express the University's and our own sympathy for [Yeardley Love's] family, team-mates, and friends. That she appears now to have been [slain] compounds this sense of loss by suggesting that Yeardley died without comfort or consolation from those closest to her. We mourn her death and feel anger on reading that the investigators believe that another student caused it."

"And let us all acknowledge that, however little we may know now about Yeardley Love's death, we do know that she did not have or deserve to die -- that she deserved the bright future she earned growing up, studying here, and developing her talents as a lacrosse player. She deserves to be remembered for her human goodness, her capacity for future greatness, and for the terrible way in which her young life has ended."

Love was 22 years old and is survived by her parents and a sister.

Something old, something new.

It's not a traditional marriage, but serious commitments will be declared during the 75th version of the NFL draft that begins Thursday.(7:30 p.m. ET; ESPN, NFL Network)

The draft will again be staged at Radio City Music Hall in New York. But here's a different twist: The NFL is instituting a three-day draft for the first time, with the first three rounds in prime time Thursday and Friday.

After a record 39 million viewers watched at least part of last year's two-day weekend draft, the NFL's most-anticipated offseason event is poised to generate even more buzz.

"In this league, we can adjust to a lot of things," Baltimore Ravens general manager Ozzie Newsome says. "We'll deal with the change the commissioner (Roger Goodell) has decided to do with this draft. Hopefully it will have the popularity it has had over the last few years, going in prime time."

The league has invited at least 17 projected high-round picks to New York — more than doubling the usual number of invitees.

And to add spice to the second day, when Rounds 2 and 3 will be held, many famous draft picks from previous years will participate as the league celebrates the 75 most valuable selections of all time, as determined by fan balloting.

It will be interesting to see how teams respond to the new format. With the later starts Thursday and Friday and an extra day for the draft, more time is built in for teams to reset their draft boards and discuss trades. The record for trades since the seven-round draft began in 1994 (including predraft deals involving picks) is 46 in 2008.

"I don't know if there will be more trades," says St. Louis Rams general manager Billy Devaney, who holds the No. 1 pick overall. "But I know this will give us a lot more time to eat. And there's always too much food served during the draft."

One pattern that could continue: a quarterback taken at the top.

If the Rams choose Oklahoma's Sam Bradford as projected, he will be the 10th quarterback in 13 years selected No. 1 overall.
