Just Sunday

Yesterday (Saturday noon) was shiny & lovely afternoon & I'm planing for a road trip for tomorrow (Sunday) but suddenly when I wake up it was a rainy morning so I decided to stay at home hoping that the rain will stop in a minute but an hour later it is still raining because of tropical depression "Goring".

then I buy some bread called "pandesal" for breakfast with
3in1 coffee & a cheez whiz spread.

after an hour later me & my son where playing his toys & after taking his bath I decided to play again with him but this time we make some photos of planking positions inspired by the Bulacan Photographer club from the topic of "Jessica Sojo" last night about a photographer. Photo below was his first position at the top of the round table, just a second of his photo & his the one who decided for the next different positions on the stair ways just laughing & photo-shot what position he wants to like, photos shown below & later he just felt asleep.

I thought it was just an ordinary Sunday, but me & my son just enjoy

the single moment doing those stuff & hope rain stop for tomorrow.

Street food is intimately connected with take-out, junk food, snacks, and fast food; it is distinguished by its local flavour and by being purchased on the street, without entering any building.Both take-out and fast food are often sold from counters inside buildings, there are so many kind of street food here in the Philippine some street food deals with grilled(barbecue) food.

vendor are busy inviting some customer to try their food -

-the sauce that they used was made up of vinegar, slice onion & chili,

while the other sauce was a mixture of corn starch, sugar & soy sauce then

they cooked it-

-some street food are small & big intestine of pig(isaw), ear of pig(tenga),

meat of pig(barbecue), hotdog, head of chichen-

-feet of chicken(adidas), fat or skin of pig & liver of pig.

-actual grilling of the street food (hmmmnnn) excited to eat what I bought-

-chicken skin & chicken meat rolled with cornstarch-

Scientific name: Allamandra cathartica Linn

Tagalog : Kampanilya

English : Yellow Bell

Allamanda, also known as the yellow bell flower or the golden trumpet, is a tropical shrub or vine. The plant is native to Brazil and has rich green foliage and bright yellow blooms. Vines are extremely sensitive to inappropriate growing conditions and require specific care to thrive. The Allamanda is not to be confused with Tecoma stans or the Fritillaria pudica, which are referred to commonly as "yellowbells." The bright yellow flowers on the Allamanda vine have overlapping petals that create a trumpet shape, and can have a diameter of up to 5 inches. Flowers come into bloom in groups of two or three which come from the tip of stem growth.

The Allamanda has been used by herbalists to treat a number of conditions including jaundice, malaria and constipation. It has also proven to have antibiotic properties effective against staphylococcus.

My sister also loves to travel everywhere here in the Philippines & in other country, as a bread winner in our family she travel Hongkong Disneyland, somewhere in Indonesia & Malaysia. She has a work in Singapore so she can afford those travel & this is one of his video travel in Bali Indonesia called paragliding. As I watched the video I found it interesting, cool & the lovely place on the cliff of the mountain, it fells like flying on the air (wow) & I felt jealous about the experienced hope to experienced it also, at the same time happy for her. I asked her that I will make a blog on her experienced.

Tagalog: Gumamela

English: China rose, Hibiscus

Gumamela is cultivated as an ornamental flower throughout the Philippines. Gumamela flowers are used as an expectorant in bronchitis, for general coughs, as a refrigerant drink in fevers, medicinal used and for use in soaps and shampoos. It can come in a multitude of colors, such as purple, orange and pink. Gumamela has been used for centuries to treat skin ailments. The flower consists of 5 petals that form a bell shape.

Balayan (was derived from Old Tagalog word balayan, which means walk past the paddy from a basket to another and carry or accomplish anything with the tip of any batten. Other possible source is from the Old Tagalog word balayang, which means-wood, as old natives used to call this town up to the present.) is one of the oldest town in Batangas officialy founded by the Spaniards in 1578. Prior to Spanish Colonization, it was already inhabited by the descendants of the two Bornean datus who settled in this place.

Significant events includes the Parada ng Lechon (every June 24) and the Feast of Immaculate Conception celebrated every December 8 of a year. Widely known products originating from the area include the Bagoong Balayan.

The Immaculate Conception Parish Church traces its origin from the church built out of light materials by the Franciscan Friars in 1579. The present stone church began to be constructed in 1749 under the supervision of the Jesuit Fathers and was completed in 1759. In 1876, the administration of the parish was transferred to the Secular clergy of Filipinos. It is now listed as a cultural heritage site in the country.

Basilica de San Martin de Tours in Taal is the largest church in Asia, standing 96 meters long and 45 meters wide. The Augustinian Missionaries started construction in 1756, but it was destroyed whenTaal volcano erupted in 1754. It took a century for the church to achieve its present form. St. Martin of Tours is the patron of Taal, whose feast is celebrated every November 11.

Taal Basilica was first built in present day San Nicolas, Batangas, by Fray.Deigo Espina in 1575 under the Augustinians, with San Martin de Tours as patron saint. In 1754 the church was destroyed along with the town Taal in the eruption of the Taal volcano. It was then that the church was transferred to its present site. Father Martin Aguirre donated the land for the new church in 1755, but in 1849 it was destroyed again by an earthquake. Construction of the new church began in 1856 to 1878, the Spanish architect Luciano Oliver commissioned to design and manage the construction of the present church. A small tower was made on its left side but it was destroyed during Japanese occupation. It was reconstructed later and it was then taller than the original. The church was made into a basilica on 8 December, 1954 and was declared a national shrine on January 16, 1974. The conical coronation of the Our Lady of Caysasay was also made in basilica in 1954. Taal Basilica is consider as the biggest church in the Philippines and in Asia.

As a father is not so easy task to do it's like you have to work until midnight then wake early the next morning prepare the things that will be needed by that day. As you noticed I'm the one who cater my son because his mom is the one who work on other country & the one who run a small business here in our place. I'm his dad at the same time his mam, but it's ok with that, for the name of endless love (drama).

Activities of my son as a daycare students together with his fellow students & I just remember the days that I'm the one who is doing this, praying, singing & playing with my co-students.

as I am waiting for my son, to went home I noticed this tree that capture my attention & as an artist wanna be I call this one "The Isolated" a simple tree called "camatsili" in the middle of the green rice planted around it, the farmer who is busy on planting, The building behind him indication of progress. This is one of the lovely view that I always look up. I just appreciate it's real beauty even-though few years from now maybe it will be developed as a subdivision or a commercial area.

Mt. Maculot 2011 part 2

Unlike last year were more crowded going to Mt. Maculot & my cousin & I became the tour guide (just kidding) of our fellow friends, but the only difference is last year is much adventurous that this year.

climb the Mt. Maculot just to enjoy the Holy week.

Mt. Maculot is one of the favorite day-trip destinations, also popular for weekend & summer vacation especially on weekends. This mountain at the heart of Batangas, is known for landmarks for travelers, cliff that is challenging for rock climbers, enjoyable & breathtaking for everyone.

Experience in Singapore (SG) is one of the memorable things that happen to me, my sister invited me for a visit last October 2009 - Nov 2009 for 25 days & hope to get job on that country. First things that came up to my mind what is the whether, the culture, etc,. I arrived at Singapore 12midnight then my sister pick me up at the airport together with her board-mate. My first impression at Singapore is simple unique, there advance technology & a lot more, a far different from Philippine (PH). I can't tell every detail what happen to me but the experience was good. The next day morning I noticed that the whether in Singapore is the same in Philippine, humid. but the Land area of SG is small

Similarity of Singapore & Philippine + differences

1. Same whether but the sunrise in SG is a bit late, I think the full sunrise there is 6:30am in the morning while in PH is 5:45am.

2. Transportation : in SG people there are more discipline rather than in PH

3. Gadget & I think I would not mention all of that because we all know what system PH have.

4. Always bring map of SG where to ride to go to the other places.

There's are lot of different nation in SG also looking for fortune & landed a good job not only the Filipinos have this belief always remember that other nation have also this belief, for some tips if you are applying as a tourist at SG click this:

Abstract experience:

It's so hard to apply for a job at SG as a tourist because there's a lot of things to remember & the way they speak, there English are poor & not all can understand English especially when you are asking for some places or you want to buy at there store I can't remember what they call them but in the PH it's the wet market. I always go out to look for a job in SG but at that time there is a crisis there & they are interested for PR(permanent resident) & those who have the work permit. but sad to say I didn't landed a job.

We called this fish as "Tanasya" the red rough skin but it's flesh is so delicious taste

like "Lapu-lapu"& it's also perfect for "sinigang".

My son & my niece can't wait to eat & taste this fish

Crispy pata perfect for soy sauce, slice onion & chili (siling labuyo) with tthe mixed up of

a bit of sugar & garlic.

Family Reunion & barangay fiesta, I never been absent on this occasion because I don't want to miss the celebration of Feast of Corazon de Jesus that was was held every last Sunday of April. It was just an ordinary feast but the meet ups & reunion of our family was one of the best. The food, the liquor, a simple occasion that makes me feel glad.

Experience at Tagaytay Zipline was one of my challenging & maybe so far the best get away summer of last 2011, the cool ambiance was perfect the adventure was there, the gimik, it was a complete package to kill your boredom for everyday work, a great way to loosen your stress because you gonna shout when you try the zipline & if you wanna try some extreme posed on the zipline if you are dare & brave to try. The usual post was sitting when you have some babies with you or your afraid of the superman position. Some are brave enough to try total extreme on riding at the zipline. I think the long of the zipline was 300m+ & the adrenaline that you will experience is like 20kph or less, but I really not good in calculation. The place was perfect for gathering, because of it's land area and picnic table for rent. I think the zipline ride was different from weekdays & weekends for complete info for the pricing click here.

Monte Maria was located at Brgy., Amuyong Alfonso, Cavite it can be viewed along the hi-way of Tagaytay. The placed was perfect for retreat, picnics, religious activities, wedding, and a lot more for any occasion. A hectares of land area of Monte Maria was an eye captivating, the climate was good, fresh air & cool breeze. A chapel that can handle a hundreds of person with their flowery garden. Children can't be bored on this site because of ambiance & nature friendly.

There's no sweet to the place that we can called it HOME. In our place we don't have the white sand, or whale shark(budanding), just this simple place a black sand, peaceful & relaxing place, people know each other & have respect, hospitable to strangers, sea that gives earn for living to their residents, clean place. Just imagine living in a simple barrio, fresh air, clean water, not so populated, young one's played on the seaside enjoying the beautiful scenario that sunset brings.
