Today, NLA - Nuno Leónidas Arquitectos, Lda has completed more than two hundred projects and established a reputation as a highly professional and capable practice.

The firm is very successful in public competitions and has built up a high level of expertise in hotels and tourist resorts, offices, corporate projects and residential developments.

Great emphasis is placed on advanced computer technology for administration and computer aided design. The practice has developed its own software to improve the efficiency and quality of internal methodology and project management.

Normal services also include feasibility studies, project co-ordination and construction supervision with specialist areas of expertise in hotel design, town planning and passive solar architecture.

Arising from the firm's extensive experience in hotel projects, the interior design department has now been established as a separate company, NL - Decoração, Lda.

Although independent, strong links are maintained with the core architectural practice in order that projects may benefit from the resultant synergy.

Cor was created in 2006 by Jesus Olivares and Miguel Rodenas, both architect trained at the University of Alicante, Spain.

The first and most intimate vocation was to be a meeting point between ideas and their realization. In 2008 he was recognized with the innovative trajectory Chamber of Commerce Award for the New Company.

Nowadays, its founders are 'honorary professors' in Architecture Degree at the University of Alicante. On the other hand, Cor Associates is currently undergoing a consolidation of its business model and global expansion.

Martine De Maeseneer Architects is not a compulsive builder. The practice mediates between 'theorisation' and 'realisation'. How can we build in 'differance' (with an 'a') in our practice as a selfregulating machine? It is a question about quantity (also), but then of a different order. Amies is best known to the British public for his work for Queen Elizabeth II. The association began in 1950, when Amies made several outfits for the then Princess Elizabeth's royal tour to Canada. Although the couture side of the Hardy Amies business was traditionally less financially successful, the award of a Royal Warrant as official dressmaker in 1955 given his house a degree of respectability and resultant publicity. One of his best known creations is the gown he designed in 1977 for Queen Elizabeth's Silver Jubilee portrait which, he said, was "immortalized on a thousand biscuit tins." Knighted in 1989, Amies held the warrant until 1990, when he gave it up so that younger designers could create for the Queen.

I was born in Vigo, a small city in the north west of Spain,in 1974.Vigo, although a beautiful place with lots of fresh seafood, is not the most cosmopolitan or creative city I can think of and definitely not the kind of place where I saw myself pursuing my lifelong dream of becoming a designer. AR43 was founded by Lim Cheng Kooi in Singapore in 2006. Prior to this, Cheng Kooi was part of a trio of designers heading the renowned practice of Forum Architects. During his 12 year partnership with the firm, he was involved in a variety of projects, many of which have received awards and recognition through publications in top architectural journals.

Cheng Kooi has previously worked with William Lim Associates, an architectural firm widely respected for its innovative and unique designs. He has also worked in Akitek Tenggara II under the mentorship of Mr Tay Kheng Soon. Mr Tay remains one of the most deeply respected Singaporean architect of today.

His works comprise commercial, residential and hospitality architecture & interior works. He has also carried out charitable projects. The Karuna Home for the Disabled located in Bylakuppe in the district of Mysore, Karnataka State in South India is one such project he has undertaken.

An avid designer and self-taught painter, Cheng Kooi devotes himself not only to furthering his practice, but also painting and sculpture. His designs are an act of continual exploration based on knowledge and experience gained from the many influences in life.

Yen studied Architecture at National University of Singapore, then at Columbia University, New York. In this time, she had been selected for annual exhibitions and publications. Upon graduating with a Masters of Architecture, she received an award for ‘Excellence in Design’ given by Graduate School of Architecture, Planning and Preservation, Columbia University.

From 2004 to 2009, Yen worked on local and overseas projects in Eco.id Design Consultancy. Focusing on larger overseas hospitality projects, some key projects Yen was involved in at this time include Marriott Hotel Poolside Villas Singapore, Luxury Safari Resort at Abu Dhabi, 6-star Seaside Resort in Koh Samui, and Beach Resort at Saadiyat Beach, Abu Dhabi.

After graduating from Babson College in Wellesley, Massachusetts, Michael Bastian moved to New York City, where his first job was as an Assistant Buyer at Abraham & Strauss. This was followed by positions within Sotheby’s, Tiffany & Co., Polo Ralph Lauren, and most recently, Bergdorf Goodman, where he was the men’s fashion director for five years. It was this experience that led Bastian to launch in 2006 his own men’s wear line. The line, produced under a licensing agreement by the Italian company Brunello Cucinelli, is now carried in over 50 retail locations in America, Canada, Japan, Europe, and the Middle East. The licensing agreement with Cucinelli was terminated in December 2010.
