Panty & Stocking Wig review

I did a video review on this when I first received it, I really really like this wig. I have had experiences with wigs in the past, I've paid 40 bucks once for a wig that was ok, but it still looked really fake and did not fit my head very well. I like this wig because its very comfortable, it stays put nicely even if its so long.

So kawaii!! xD I love Panty and Stocking... and I obviously prefer Stocking :) she's so cute and her costumes are really stylish. I bought this for halloween but I will probably use it for conventions and cosplay.

The sellers name is Coszone, I bought it off ebay and it was relatively cheap compared to other ones. There were some of the same wig that were cheaper but the shipping time was much longer so I bought from this seller instead. They are located all the way in China but I received this in two weeks.

Circle Lense Review : Neo Cosmo Glamour Brown

Hi guys~Back with another review. In a lot of my previous YouTube videos I've gotten soo many compliments and questions about my Neo Glamour Grey lenses, they are definitely my favorite thus far so I decided to try the brown ones.

Color : 3/5 - I primarily got these because I saw that in many pictures of Angelababy and Janice Man(Chinese models) that they wore these lenses, it looks so natural on them, but honestly on me they don't look very natural. Probably because of my pink hair, because when I had black hair they looked more flattering. These lenses have an orange hue to them, its more obvious on lighter skin tones.
Comfort : 3/5 - Usually Neo lenses are super comfy on me, they feel very thin and light, which these do. However, I found that they need to "settle in", like when I first put them on they are a bit uncomfortable and make my eyes blurry. But after an hour or more of wear, they feel fine.
Design/Size : 4/5 - I really prefer these size of circle lense(14.2mm), they can be less obvious, and Glamour series has a sunburst design that I really like.
Overall: 3.5/5 - I really wanted to like these much more, but it's the color that let me down. I was expecting a lighter color to really give me natural hazel looking eyes but instead I got orange :/ All other colors from these series are gorgeous though, and If I had to buy one circle lens for the rest of my life it would be the Glamour grey or blues.

Circle Lense Review : Neo Dali Extra Brown

Circle lenses provided by Candylens.com . These circle lenses are made by Neo Cosmo, they are basically the bigger version of the Dali lenses. However, for these they also extended the color so that its not just brown on the edges.
Comfort: 3/5 - With bigger lenses I feel them weighing down my eyes a bit, so I can't wear them as long as regular circle lenses.
Size : 5/5 - Really big, 14.5 mm I believe so they enlarge quite a bit, almost too much but the design makes it so they dont come off as too unnatural.
Color/Design 4/5 : I expected them to look lighter, in the promo pictures the models eyes look like a chocolate brown color. However on my dark eyes they still look really dark, you can only tell close up that they are brown. I still think they look more natural than alot of other super sized lenses, no harsh edges or wacky designs = natural looking :)

Hair Timeline 2010-Now

Hi guys!!(insert a lengthy yet awkward introduction as to why I haven't blogged in ages) I started college..enough said :P
My hairs been through plenty of changes since my senior year of high school.

First I achieved growing it out to my desired length of mid-chest, it was healthy and still virgin hair... the perfect time to experiment -_-'' This is my hair un-dyed, pretty shiny and healthy.

Then I dyed my hair for the first time to a soft black color with semi permanent hair dye. It looked awesome.. I thought black was my "it" color.

Then I gave myself a crazy haircut of super short layers and thinned it out, basically an asian mullet style inspired by BoA... This cut suited my face shape really well, it's just one of those cuts that only with plenty of styling and heat will look good.

As seen in my last blog entry from a long long time ago, I bleached my bangs and dyed them pink. But it wasn't a 1 day process, I actually started out with highlights in my hair. Then I bleached the entire bangs and it turned out fugly and brown.

I then put my hair through a total of 5 bleaches..yes..5!! Until my bangs were a pale yellow. Keep in mind that I was a complete noob and did not know how damaging bleach was, and I also didnt know that toner could of saved me a possible 2 bleaches.But finally I got my pink bangs, and it was great while it lasted... but I couldn't keep them because of prom and graduation, so I dyed over everything in black again.

The last time I dyed my hair it was with a blue black color by Revlon I believe. It was really really dark, and even after two months my hair did not go back to its natural color. I had to wait heeps of time for it to fade.I am dying my hair again, but this time an unnatural color because I'm bored of blacks and browns. ( please excuse the following crappy webcam photos, I didn't bring my camera with me to college -__-'')

Time to damage my hair!!

Here it is after I used the product " Color Fix" . Color Fix is a hair color remover that uses sulfur and a bunch of other chemically science stuff to remove any artificual dyes from your hair. It works great for semi permanent dyes, but it might not work 100% with permanent or vegetable dyes. I used it twice on my hair and it took all the black out. My hair went from black to a brown that was lighter than my natural hair color.

After the color fix, I bleached my hair and it turned this .. brownish orangish color. Still too dark, so I bleached again. (Oh keep in mind that my hair is naturally curly and poofy, so the change in texture is not the bleaches fault)

Lovely, uneven color.Yellow roots and orange and brown.

Fried ends.

And here it is today, after 2 bleaches. It's a orange/light brown color.. I am going to bleach it once more and see if I get blonde.. if not, then you guessed it, bleach again!! Don't worry, I'm really gentle with my hair and I give it plenty of time to rest in between bleaches.

Really pale roots.. if only my whole head turned this color!!

The damage is still no where near how bad my bangs and peekaboo pink hair was , I am more patient and caring with my hair this time so hopefully it doesnt all get fried.

Ends will definitely need a trim, but the rest of my hair is still ok.

Circle Lense Review : EOS Adult Green

Long overdue review of circle lenses from Candylens . These are the EOS Adult GREEN (the old version) As many reviews say, they are not indeed green but blue. I tried looking at them from all sorts of different lighting; indoor,outdoor,artificial,flash etc.. but they are blue no matter what.

COLOR : 5/5 Definitely one of my favorites in terms of color. I wanted a blue that wasn't dark or grey,these are more on the light side, so if you want noticeable eye color change get these or the grey/blue ones would work swell.. They are vibrant, noticeable, I think they went well with my pink hair(always a plus). There's a purple outer edge, which isn't very noticeable unless you are very close up.

COMFORT : 4/5 These are my first pair of EOS lenses, and because of their small size (14.2mm) they are OK in terms of comfort. I could say these are good for someone who wears contacts daily.

ENLARGEMENT : 1/5 Tiny... no significant difference in iris size. Some might even see their eye look smaller. But they are still pretty!!

I would definitely recommend these lenses as well as the company who sponsored them for my review. NOT just because I got them for free!! -They came packaged in lovely little boxes with ribbons and the package arrived within a week. Also they have been very patient with me (^-^)'' The variety of lenses they offer and the prices are also a nice feature(they sell BB creams and dolly wink lashes). Overall pleasant to deal with, user-friendly,and responsive.

Next to review : Neo Glamour Brown , Dali Extra Size Brown.

Portfolio 2010

I probably wont be adding much to this portfolio until I start college in the summer(hopefully). This is basically all I submitted for my Ringling portfolio a few months back, it's not exactly what I had in mind..its a bit half-assed to be honest lol. I would of spent more time on it, but what can I say I work horribly with deadlines.

And that's basically everything I got a chance to scan/photograph..there's a couple more things but I didn't save them on my flashdrive so they got deleted (-.-)'' My computer got a virus on steroids last month and I had to wipe everything..If I had more time and better materials I would of come up with something more impressive.. I think my portfolio is lacking 1. Color and 2.Variety. It's a bit blah honestly.. Oh well there's always next year.

Coming back from the dead post(sorta)

Hi... lol

My last blog update was in November, it's crazy how things change in a couple months. I have to say, I am really sorry to those who follow this blog in the pursuit of reading about makeup and related girly things. Not that I'm not into girly things anymore.. but I dont feel entised to really blog solely about makeup anymore. Maybe makeup blogging is too superficial, maybe it's too expensive, maybe I just dont wear that much makeup anymore.. who knows!!

If you knew me back in, lets say.. middle school? this would be a different story. A 13/14 year old girl who wore thick Gothic makeup with an eccentric clothing style would probably become the next big Youtube Guru.. that's how much I was into makeup back then. But I'm no where near as dedicated to blogging or youtube as I used to be... keep in mind I started this blog when I was 16 ----> I am now almost 18 years old o_O im getting old!!

My lovely un-glamorous self.. I have 5 no makeup days a week :)

But nowadays, I rarely even buy new cosmetics. All I need to get by is a good liquid eyeliner, some concealer and maybe a lip balm or lipgloss or two. When I do have money(I'm always broke) I'd much rather spent it on clothes ..or food LOL.

Curled hair.. oh I didn't mention I gave myself some weird asian mullet haircut =.=''

Ok, this post is going no where.. But I think you can get an idea of the direction this blog is going into. I might make it more of a personal blog(regardless of how many readers I get..it's a scary thought to have all my stuff out there for everyone to read.. but who cares, that's the internet for ya) I think my life and the things that happen to me are much more interesting than what I have to say about makeup, or the kind of makeup I wear one day.. you know?
Maybe a lot of subscribers are wondering why I vanished off Youtube or blogging for soo many months.. well it's a bit complicated. My main reason was the one I just mentioned. My second reason(s) is a bit irrevelant now but I'll say it anyways....

It's a very very long story.. a personal one at that. But in a nutshell I ,
1. Broke up with my boyfriend of almost 4 years..super depressing
2. Got a new boyfriend..super happy but then.. he broke up with me after two weeks.
3. Super depressed again.
4. Started dating again.. with no luck for a while
5. Tadaaa ~ magically found a new love <3 super happy again :))
6. My cousin's death.. again with the depression.
7. College decisions.. not depressed, just stressed..ok maybe a little depressing lol

And that's pretty much where I stand today..

Oh, and dyed my hair black(a few months ago)..and more recently tried some highlights :D very much experimental with the hair lately xD I'm going to end up bald..

I've taken a vacation from the internet it so seems, but I have a lot of exciting news! First I wanted to share some things that have been going on in my life, since obviously theres reasons why I havent been updating...

Long story short school is absolutely insane this year, whether it's activities or work I am totally giving all my spare time to school and I hardly get any sleep. I have some days off coming up though so I hope to get back in the gear of making videos then.
It's been a long time since I posted any pictures of my art from school, and it's really all I've been focusing on. Thankfully I've improved a lot since then.. These is just a few of my works from earliest to the most recent which isn't even finished yet.

This is actually a self-portrait I did in chalk pastels(hence why it's covered in plastic) ^^'

Can you believe I only have 3 of 30 works done? Yup! Welcome to the " I want to be an artist" club!

As far as makeup looks, I hardly wear any makeup on a daily basis. In fact, nowadays I wear eyeliner,concealer,and lip balm to school which is the most makeup I've worn in years(though I feel I need it because of how tired and sleep deprived I look). I think for everyday and school makeup, natural look is the best. First because you don't need to be all dolled up to go to school(unless it's just your style) and second, I think I'd rather have a few more minutes to sleep and get beauty rest than put on extra makeup!

This was me dressed up as a nerd for nerd day at my school =P

And this is me(its kind of obvious who's me) wearing a garbage bag dress I made for a school fashion show.

And this is right on the day I cut my bangs!! I couldn't see anything with bangs so long so I had to.. But they grew out really fast =(

This is the most recent one, from yesterday when I curled my hair finally. Actually this was Halloween, which I did not celebrate yet again! I am not anti-Halloween, but my family isn't too crazy about it.
I waited for all this Halloween crazyness to be over because I really did not plan to do Halloween looks, and for that I'm sorry but it really does need to be planned ahead of time =P Next year for sure though!

And for those of you who are wondering, yes my contest did end already!I didn't forget.. I will be contacting the winners soon when I finish sorting through all the comments, because I also have another mini contest that I want to start as soon as possible.

Oh and I forgot about the exciting news.. well here it is.. I made Youtube Partner !! yay!! I was so happy when I found out, I had gotten rejected like over a gazillion times so it's quite the accomplishment for me =P Thank you to everyone who made it possible!

MAC Venemous Villains Collection Swatches & Reviews

Finally, here is the swatches and reviews of the MAC Venomous Villains Collection. I was very excited about this collection, for me personally it is my first time trying out MAC products . And before you look at the first picture and think I'm crazy, note I did not buy any of these products!(I won them a long time ago in an Elle Contest). So yes, this definitely made me not want to buy any new makeup for a while.

Collective madness, this is too much makeup even for me, I feel like a hoarder!

In their cute little boxes.I love the sketches on the black background, it makes Disney look sophisticated =)

Cruella de Vil Collection

This is my favorite of the four, because I think it is the most wearable and the colors are very well thought out. I think as a whole this part of the collection works very well on its own.The one product I am in love with is the Innocence Beware lipstick.

Evil Queen Collection

The eyeshadows are nice colors but I feel the pigmentation is a little low.The lipstick colors are wearable, even the red one can be natural if applied very lightly. The blush and beauty powder are also gorgeous. I would definitely suggest getting the blush if it isn't sold out.
Maleficent Collection

This is the part of the collection you should get if you want the unique, out there sort of colors. It screams Halloween to me, because of all the dark colors and the colors they choose truly reflect the evil yet mysterious character of Maleficent.I think the beauty powder and the nail polishes are the best products from this collection. I see little practical use from the eye shadows or the lipsticks unless you want cool Halloween makeup.
Dr. Facilier Collection

I'm torn on this one, I really LOVE the eyeliners. They go on silky smooth and stay on all day long with hardly any smudging or creasing. Also I love the pigment samples, and the gloss is alright even though I don't like glitter. The liquid powders however, I still don't understand. I think it would of been nice to have some instructions because no matter what they apply kind of streaky or chalky. So in conclusion, pick up the eyeliners and the melon pigment if your unsure what's worth it.

Eyeshadows

From left to right : Carbon, Vainglorious , Her alter image ,Sweet joy

Mineralize eyeshadow "She who dares"

While it looks beautiful in the pan, I can't see much use out of this eyeshadow because the color payoff is kind of low because you mostly get glitter particles which can be messy of applied dry.

Pigments : Melon, Push the Edge, Brash and Bold. All applied dry.

Blushes & Beauty Powders

The packaging on these is a lot nicer than on the single eye shadows. And for those who are wondering, the pictures on the products are not pasted on stickers, they don't come off what so ever.

From left to right : Her own devices, Oh so fair, Bite of an apple, Darkly my dear.

All lovely natural colors, it's hard to pick just one favorite. I'd probably say the "Bite of an apple" blush would look good on most skin tones because it looks like a natural flush of color on the cheeks. "Darkly my dear" actually looks more like a dusty pink than a brown so don't be intimidated by how dark it looks in the pan.I was actually surprised how dark "Her own devices" looks considering it looks like a neutral flesh tone in the pan, but it does show up considerably dark if used as a blush."Oh so fair" is just a cute baby pink color, I probably wouldn't apply this to my entire face because it looks like a blush color or a highlight.

Nail Polishes : Dreamy,Formidable!, Bad Fairy
All polishes have a duo-tone finish. Dreamy is a sheer green with pink and gold shimmer.

Formidable! is a dark purple with light blue shimmer.

Magically Cool Liquid Powders

Left to right " Truth and light" , "Cajun" .

In the jars, they appear to be super finely miled finishing powders that would feel velvety soft and airbrushed on the skin. Truth and light looks like an angelic highlight color, and Cajun a shimmery bronze shade.

But application is a different story. These powders turn into a creamy consistency as soon as they hit your skin(or your brush). So you can't use them like a regular powder unless you want wet brushes and streaky skin. They have a cooling sensational(hence the name) and go on rather sheer. I think the liquid powders are fun to use, but it takes some practice to apply them properly.

Lipglosses

From left to right : Resort life, Devilishly Stylish, Wicked Ways,Strange Potion, Revenge is Sweet.

Resort life : A sheer gloss mostly made up of gold and pink shimmer.

Devilishly Stylish : Sheer caramel with subtle golden shimmer. Much less glittery than Resort life, thicker consistency, more opaque color.

Wicked ways : Semi opaque plush red with extremely subtle shimmers. One of my favorites.

Full face:

Strange Potion : Creamy opaque peachy pink with subtle shimmer.

Full face:

Revenge is Sweet : Goes on a sheer fuchsia/purple color with high gloss and practically no shimmer.

Lipsticks

From left to right : Toxic Tale , Sinister , Heartless , Innocence Beware! , Dark Deed, Violetta.

Toxic Tale : Bright, matte coral red.

Full face: It can be applied straight from the tube to look super bright or you can softly dab it on to give your lips a tint of color.

Sinister : Sheer, glossy rusty brown color with red shimmer.

Heartless : Intense bright red with glossy finish. A true red, very similar to Cruella's lip color.

Innocence Beware! : Nude light pink with creamy finish. My favorite lipstick from the entire collection. Not too nude and not too pink, no blue undertones.

Dark Deed : Dark vampire red with glossy finish. As you can see, the color goes on heavy and it does tend to bleed. So I advise you use a lip liner to stop it from bleeding.

Violetta : Amplified violet with subtle shimmer.

NOTE : Some of the products I did not swatch because they were included in my giveaway and that would of just been plain unsanitary to swatch them.

Some aspects of the collection are a bit repetitive so if you plan on buying all four parts of the collection I think you will see some things are not necessities. Such as the amount of red lipsticks in total(there are 5) there's a range of reds but I feel they could of been more adventurous and gone with blue or green or black lipsticks to better fit the villain theme. I think many were disappointed there wasn't a single green eyeshadow or eyeliner, which I agree.

Regardless of all the negative feedback on how the packaging wasn't good enough or the colors looking "boring" I think this collection succeeds at bring a wide variety of colors and looks. The packaging does not look "cheap" or pasted on. I like how there are different pictures of the characters on every item, and the concept art on the boxes is also very creative. I get a very "Halloween" feel from the packaging though, I feel this collection would of been received better if released as a Disney x Halloween collection because as I said some of the colors are very reflective of the character's personalities(dark,spooky,evil).What do you think? Circle Lense Review : G-202 Candy Doll Brown from Kiwi-berry

My new favorite dolly eye lenses, the G-202 Candy Doll Brown are basically a bigger version of the Geo Angel Brown lenses and they give you the perfect dolly look. At first I was intimidated by the size, they looked too big for my eye no matter now wide I opened them but it does take getting used to if you usually wear smaller lenses. The first time I put them on it was actually a bit uncomfortable and they looked off(I wasn't wearing any makeup) But your eyes get used to the size after some wear and they look amazing with the right makeup.

Review :

Color 4/5 - The color comes off as a muted brown, sometimes gold and sometimes it can appear a bit greenish in certain lighting. I think the color is light enough so your eyes "sparkle" a bit but dark enough where it doesn't look unnatural and lizard like. 

Enlargement 5/5 - These are huge, 14.5 mm lenses. I was shocked by the size at first, especially trying to  fit them in my eyes, but the second time was a breeze putting them in. 

Design 4/5 - Very similar to the Geo Angels but with a thicker ring, exactly like the dolly eyes you see in Japanese Magazines.

Comfort 3/5 - Because of the size, I don't think it's healthy to wear these for long periods of time. I wore these for about 4-5 hours but after that it gets a bit uncomfortable. You need to keep your eyes more hydrated if the lenses are bigger than what you are used to.

Target & Ross mini Haul + DIY dress

I went to Target for the first time last week because I had to buy some Maybelline lipsticks for someone, but of course you always manage to buy a couple extra things for yourself . Target is probably the most expensive supermarket type store around here. Everything was pretty well organized and clean, so maybe they had to increase prices to maintain the store that way. Either way, I could not shop there regularly, not even for groceries!o_o Ok, rant over.

I hadn't been in a makeup isle in a while, things have sure changed.. Drugstore makeup is no longer dirt cheap or bad quality, however that doesn't stop people from testing lipsticks in the store -_-' I had to open about four or five lipsticks until I found a new one that someone else hadn't tried out.I also picked up a nail polish and an eyelash glue.

I think everyone and their granny has this nail polish color by now. Mint green is one of the prettiest colors I've ever seen. I don't think I've ever gotten so many compliments on my nail polish.

Revlon "Minted" - It's cute, and it's very long lasting. I painted both my hands and toenails and the color didn't start to chip until maybe the 6th day.

Sadly , the eyelash glue which was my biggest FAIL purchase because not only does the box say single lashes but the glue comes in a glass bottle with no squeeze applicator. I felt so stupid for buying this!

Then there's this cute grey bag I got on sale at ROSS for about $10. I was initially really attracted to this Harajuku Lovers bag but honestly it seemed over price even if it was on sale at half price. I used to love Harajuku lovers, but I might be too old for the childish style.

Should I have bought it?? I think it was adorable!

New favorite pair of skinny jeans <3 Though, they looked 100% Grey in the store, but at home apparently they are navy/black? .

Lastly, heres a "dress" I've been working on. Do you remember that ugly granny looking dress from my AsiaFashionWholesale post? well if you don't let me refresh your memory.

I can't stand to just look at it like this and think how I'm never going to wear it because it isn't cute enough. So I was bored one night and grabbed some scissors and baby pins and turned it into a short bubble dress.

Hardly recognizable, I can't wait til I get this sewed up to wear it!

Back part, it will look longer when it's finished I hope..

Most recent, I been in a hair curling obsession this month because there's no point in straightening my hair when it rains every other day :( Curls however, look good even if they get a little frizzy.

So sorry for the lack of anything lately, I am so busy and I hate not having any time to do the things I want to do. My teachers seriously need to stop giving so much homework so I can have my life back! Nothing very exciting has happened to me but I did manage to get my driving test online and hope to finish it soon so I can finally get a step closer to driving. Imagine me on the road?heck no. I am petrified of driving, but everyone has to do it at some point.

Eyebrow Transformation

Do you know that urging feeling you get when you want to chop off all your hair or cut your bangs like in those dove commercials? Well, I have been getting those feelings a lot lately and one of the first things I've done is completely transform my eyebrows. I feel like I've had the same eyebrows for at least a year and a half and honestly I'm just bored of how they look. They say your brows frame your face, and even though my eyebrows were "proportional" and "naturally fitting" to my face, I felt like they didn't do anything for my appearance nor did they take away from it. I wanted something new and refreshing, something more versatile and clean.

Huuuge difference!! It took me about an hour to get them this thin. The before is a bit dramatic because I purposely messed them up so you can see why I plucked them so thin, my eyes look so much more open.

1. Huge, I mean HUGE gaps on my old eyebrows. My hairs would randomly fall out and certain parts were bald and looked like I shaved them by accident.

2. Thick brows are nice for everyday and simple makeup, but any time I did dramatic looks it looked a bit off.. big eyebrows + big makeup = a hot mess.

3. I guess you can say the straighter the eyebrows, the younger and "nicer" you look, the bigger arch you have, the "meaner"(well in my case I just look more serious) your face looks since your brows are in a permanent frowned shape =P

Here is what I use to do my eyebrows :

Nothing cute or fancy, your typical tweezers, an old brush/comb thing and a small scissors for trimming. These Sally Hansen tweezers are the best I've ever had(I think I've been using them since middle school!)

To another person it might look like I don't know what I'm doing because my eyebrows look different - They have always looked different and there's not much I can do about it. I don't get caught up in having "Identical" eyebrows , because you can't force your hairs to grow in one place and not the other!

Now looking at these pictures, I might actually want to go even thinner! Yes, I know.. But I'm loooving the new thin look,I think it really suits me.

The next thing I want to change is my hair. I am still debating whether to let my bangs grow out and get a center part or to cut them into straight bangs again =/

BoA Hurricane Venus Tutorial + Previous FOTDs

Hello everyone!! I hope you are all having a great week! I am so busy these days ever since school started, it's not easy to keep up with blogging since I'm exhausted by the time I get home. Life was so much simpler during the summer when I had nothing to do. Aside from school, I lost internet for almost an entire month a while back, and then after that I got the flu for a week, hence the short hiatus. Anyhow, I wanted to share some looks I did since I don't update daily, I guess you could call them "faces of the month".

This is from my most recent tutorial , it's inspired by BoA in her MV "Hurricane Venus"

Not the most wearable look in the world, but Halloween was my excuse for doing this =P

And here was a more toned down look I did, but I don't think I will upload a tutorial on it since its so simple. Used mainly Glamour Doll Eyes shadows but I'm still getting the hang of using them since they aren't pressed and it can get a bit messy.

And this is probably the closest to the makeup I been wearing daily(I go a lot of days without any makeup though) My Holy Grail Majolica Majorca eyeliner is running out, I'm thinking of trying out a new eyeliner maybe the Dolly Wink pen? I need something thin and very black to do my typical winged out eyeliner.

I will do a review on these circle lenses soon!

Then there's some experimentation I've been doing with false eyelashes. I Finally figured out how to make falsies look natural even if they have black band -You have to cut the strip of lashes into three or four pieces and glue them separately and you can also glue them underneath your natural lashes(though I'm scared to try this because it might rip off some of my real lashes!)

Eye makeup from last weekend , playing around with pink L.A colors palette. I learned a trick on how to turn pressed eye shadows into cream eye shadows. So far it works fine as you can see but just a bit of creasing :(
I don't know if it works for other oils, but I used a few drops of Bio Oil and pressed it into an eyeshadow until it soaked it up and turned creamy.

My Skincare Routine , what REALLY works

I get asked what my skincare routine is and what products I use all the time. Though it may surprise you that you will find no product recommendations in this post, I am not going to list my "HG cleanser" or "favorite moisturizer". I follow this "routine" called the "Caveman Regimen". I saw it over a year ago on the internet when I was searching for an all natural skincare routine. For those who are totally lost, here is how it goes .
- You wash your face once or twice a day with just water from your sink or shower. I recommend warm water to dissolve oils first, then cold to tighten the pores.
- You don't wear foundations,concealers, or any makeup on your FACE(not eyes or lips).
- You don't wear a moisturizer or sunscreen, literally nothing on your face.

My routine is basically skincare for lazy people, or people who have tried everything and only gotten bad results.I started this regimen about two years ago, back when my skin was extremely oily and irritated. I had so much inflammation and scars, literally everything I put on my skin only made it worse. Within the first week, my skin did a complete 360 in terms of color,texture, elasticity. Now, there's TONS of scientific mumbo jumbo out there that explains exactly why this works so well, but to save you the time I will summarize.

- Your skin has a pH just like anything else, and by using products that are very acidic or very basic, they mess up your skin's natural pH, making it go crazy.
- Water(assuming you have clean, filtered water) has a pH of 7 which is perfectly balanced and therefore can fix the pH of your skin.

The main thing that bothers me is dark circles, I've had them since I was a kid so there's not much I can do about it. I think staring at the computer for hours nonstop might of attributed to it, but it's nothing some concealer can't hide. I have always been a lip biter, I can't not bite my lips not even for a day, so they always look sort of red and bloody. I think constantly wearing lip balms helps though.

And here is just my own little theories, which helped me get through the odd periods of this routine.

-When I was younger(lets say 0-11) I never really used anything on my face, it was perfect and that's the way it stayed. When I started using products, there was really nothing wrong with my face but I used them anyway and that's where all the problems began. I think if you revert to the things you did when you had nice skin, you might achieve it once again.
- Skin care products no matter how "natural" or "dermatologist tested" they say they are, didn't work for me. They are loaded with chemicals,detergents and oils that made my face really oily, really irritated etc.
- Buying all these skincare products is expensive! It is relieving to know I don't have to worry about buying a new cleanser or sunscreen or what ever when it runs out, I can use that money on other things.

I been sick for about two weeks now, and it's made my eyes look tired and my dark circles worse. I really haven't figured out the solution to dark circles, even eye creams don't do it for me. For bags though, I like to use those cooling eye masks you put in your fridge and then re-use over and over since they are filled with water.

I have dark circles, and in the morning my eyes are very puffy, but then the puffiness turns into bags later on in the day. As you can see, I also have a lot of visible veins underneath my eyes. It's still a mystery to me how I got them(perhaps it's hereditary) For now the only solution I've found is concealer :(
I got many questions asking " well how do you remove makeup?" - I guess it isn't clear enough what I mean by you don't put anything on your face. Now, for eye makeup I obviously need a makeup remover. Right now I'm using Shiseido makeup remover cleansing oil. No matter how "bad" you think your bare face looks, if you seriously want to see results with this you have to give up using your foundation and powders. I had to do it even though I had acne scars and redness, it's do-able. You just have to be clever and try to do this at a time where you don't need to go out much such as during summer or winter vacation. I literally hibernated in my house the first month and it did pay off. After it started working, I felt comfortable going out again without makeup on. I am proud to say that for the past two years, I have not put on any makeup on my face.

And as far as exfoliation, I have found that out of all the exfoliators out there - Scrubs,masks,chemical exfoliators, peels etc, the best and least abrasive ones are these exfoliating towels, basically it's a long towel you scrub any area you want to get rid of dead skin, and then wash them and re-use them. You can literally see the dead skin on them sometimes, it's not painful and you can choose the amount of exfoliation depending on which towel you get. I use this once every two weeks on mainly my forehead because a lot of dead skin cells tend to build up there, on my nose and chin area as well. I use a green one and a white one, I bought them at marshalls for less than $3 a pack.

Now, this is actually the simple part believe it or not. There are other tips I wanted to share with you guys especially if you are constantly dealing with acne or oily/problem skin. I unconsciously do these things every day.

-Never,ever, touch your face with dirty hands. Always wash your hands first before washing your face, and then after to make sure no oils from your face got stuck to your hands - this makes a huge difference!

-Get plenty of sleep. This is a no-brainer but you won't believe the difference it makes. Out of all the tips I have, this is the most important. Getting 3-5 hours of sleep a day is horrible for your skin. It doesn't give it any time to heal itself and rejuvenate(very important for those of you with scars). I think 8 hours is too little for someone my age(they recommend 9 hours for teenagers)You need less sleep as you get older, but try to get at least 8.

-Eat healthy, it pays off! I been eating healthy for three years now. Some times were more extreme than others, because I tend to eat better when I see my skin is breaking out. I know skincare companies always want us to believe "diet has nothing to do with skin yadda yadda) this is utter B.S. You are what you eat and , and your skin reflects this as well. I cut out all dairy and sugary foods from my diet for a while because it was really worsening my skin, I don't drink soda anymore, cheese is still a no for the most part. For some people dairy doesn't do anything to their skin, but for me it's kind of an allergy. Sugar on the other hand, has been proven to be a culpit to causing acne and oily skin. Sugary = sodas, candy, chocolates,icecream ect.

-Be well hydrated! I know the rule of thumb is "8 glasses a day" but my belly almost exploded when I tried to drink this much water. I think three 8-10oz glasses a day is a good number to start, besides most of us aren't even that thirsty. I just recommend drinking water instead of soda or alcohol, and also getting some fruit juice in there as well.

-Don't stress!! Stress from school, family, or appearance is one of the worst things for your skin. Everything in our body is regulated by hormones, the way you feel, the way you look etc. Every time you stress, your body is sending out those hormones. It has been proven that stress ages the skin, and stress on your mind is stress on your skin. Overly thinking about the way you look whether it be weight, features or skin is going to have an affect on your success. People who diet and exercise but think they will never loose weight, don't. If you are depressed about being overweight, having acne or wrinkles or scars, it won't get better. Think positively, and try not to look in the mirror so much. Out of sight, out of mind.

BoA Game Inspired Makeup

Just finished uploading this new tutorial and wanted to share with you guys.I am actually a new fan of BoA's, because for some reason when I got into K-pop two years ago, I never bothered to watch her music videos. But now, she has two new ones out that I really liked which were "Game" and "Hurricane Venus" - Which I have a upcoming tutorial for as well, though I am still deciding what second look I should focus on.

I know a lot of people already did tutorials on this look, but that doesn't mean I can't take a shot at it too right? I noticed also how HUGE my eyes look with this makeup, besides the fact that I'm wearing circle lenses I don't get why they look so huge o_o

I should of gone with maybe a icy grey circle lense , but it looked so nice on Jen fromheadtotoe :P Everytime I do one of these crazy tutorials my mom looks at me and goes "omg what's that on your face??"

I am kind of in overclock mode in terms of making videos lately, I film two a day and then take one day to edit most of them and then upload them one at a time. Transformation of my hair

And of myself in general.This might be strange and maybe a bit disturbing for some people, considering how "normal" I look now, and well.. you'll see.
p.s This isn't supposed to be a serious post so just sit back and laugh at my craziness .

So here I am at the ripe age of twelve or thirteen.This was taken on one of my cosplay days. I wore a full face of makeup to school all the time.I was very over the top and scared many people but I had so much fun, this was the most fun time of my life in a sense but it was also the oddest.I was really morbid and pale and gothy.

On a lighter note, when I was twelve exactly I loved the bright rainbow emo style that had just started becoming trendy, here I am rocking it to the max =P

Yes.. that is a neon pink fishnet shirt I got from Hot-topic. So cliche.

The only makeup I wore was a bunch of white powders and a thick winged eyeliner.

This was when I was thirteen, on a good hairday. You can see my hair was super long and straight and shiny, what the heck happened? o_O

I don't know why I had such curly bangs, I guess it was the style back then.
Back in my jrock cosplay days..

My hair is brown? wtf. So damaged..
And I had an obsession with taking highly contrasted pictures.

I loved to dress up like Mana from Malice Mizer and I probably had better makeup skills back then than I do now. Also I had practically no eyebrows or eyelashes.

Totally into the gothic lolita image and I was in love with Marilyn Manson and Miyavi and decorated my walls with pictures of Mana-sama. I had hair to my waist and only knew how to straighten it. At this age I remember being totally spoiled, stuck up and highly opinionated(thank god I got over this angst teenager stage really early)

P.S I am not advocating or encouraging young girls (12-15) to wear makeup like I did. Honestly my mom let me even though she was against it and I now understand why . I had perfect skin and yet I still smacked on layers of foundation and powder, please don't make the mistake I did and ruin your beautiful young skin! It's not worth it, even if you don't know any better take your parents advice and be as natural as you can when you are young. So that this way when you are older you won't need to wear makeup everyday to cover your flaws, instead you can be confident and proud of your fresh face. This also go for young girls who think they need to have a bunch of skincare products when they are only in middle school wtf. Please don't experiment with your face just because you see older girls doing it, you can end up doing more harm than good in the long run.

My hair was actually cute here why did I cut it more?
To look like this.. (Also notice how the next couple of pictures I didn't have any makeup on.. yea I got tired of wearing it for a good two years) .

I learned how to draw on eyebrows and smile for pictures.

All of a sudden I decided to cut all of my hair off. I didn't feel like looking girly anymore, I wanted to be more guyish for what ever reason. I was a true tomboy in every sense of the word. I walked like a guy, never wore girly clothes, liked to take pictures of guys to my hairdresser.I was obsessed with video games, only had guy friends.Yep.

Somewhat decent looking.

Then in between this and that I had a pretty gross looking stage because it was my first year of highschool and I signed up for too many hard classes, was super stressed all the time and didn't care for my looks.

I think this is freshman year still, my hair was at it's shortest here.

Matching glasses to my synthetic hair clips , so stylish.

Then I went completely back to my crazy fashion sense because I rediscovered Japan but this time with punk music and the more grungy , obscene looking bands. I look so mean in these pictures, I hated to smile, but honestly I was nice and quiet.I was shy because I had really low self confidence and all that jazz.

I'm the one on the right obviously. I really wanted to look like Tadahisa Yoshida .He was the first japanese person with a visual style I met in person . So starstruck..

Then I started to grow back my hair in attempts to look like a real girl again LOL It was a slow and painful process. I was also at a small hippie stage because I didn't wash my hair with shampoo and believed in all that all natural organic healthy lifestyle crap. I didn't eat sweets,dairy, or fried stuff, and everything must be 100% natural haha.
I think in this span of give years I went to get a haircut about six times in total. I mostly cut my own hair, sometimes it was a total disaster though, but I still cut my own hair.

Then this was around the time I started this blog, I'm sort of getting there ...

Then fast forward about a year and here I am today. I don't think if I ever do a time-line like this in another 5 years it would be as interesting.
Most recently , I discovered circle lenses, learned how to wear makeup again, grew my hair,used better haircare products,my skin cleared up, I learned to smile more .

Thank you if you made it to the end of this post and still don't think I'm out of my mind or weird. I don't really have much to hide, and I'm not ashamed of all the crazy things I've done to my hair or how I've dressed. It's all just a part of who we are and the stages we go through in adolescence. I wish I could offer some touching words of wisdom but honestly I still haven't figured it all out. Just be thankful for what you have, be shameless, and be yourself(even if "yourself" is me in my first picture) .

Lovelyshoes.net Haul & Reviews (pic heavy)

As promised, here is my haul and review of my purchase from Lovely Fashion . When I made my purchase at AsiaFashionWholesale, I became interested in seeing how the quality of wholesale shoes was. There are many wholesale stores that mainly sell clothing and also sell shoes but I found they weighed their items a bit too high and the shipping would turn out to be more than the item cost itself. So I found this site mainly sells shoes but also a wide variety of bags.Lovely Fashion prices are mainly in the 8-15$ range. The more costly items are the boots and sneakers but most things are fairly priced. .

So first there are some pros and cons of buying from this site, and here are some tips that would make buying easier.

-Shipping is measured in weight, so pay attention to the weight of the shoes or bags. You might think you are paying $10 for a pair of shoes, but in reality are paying $20 because they weigh too much so stick to things under 800 or 700 grams.
-There is no longer a minimum order to buy from Lovely Fashion and they have lowered their shipping cost recently, so now is a good time if you are considering it.
-Size chart is in China Sizes. I am a size 7 in US and their size 38 was perfect for me.
-My least favorite items were those made of this "matte leather" faux-swade material. It looks quite cheap and is not worth the money so try to avoid those.
-They have many similar styles that are available on sites like Yesstyle but they might not be the same quality since you are paying much less and the product are replicas not the actual thing(EDIT: I checked Yesstyle today and they are selling exactly the same shoes as this wholesaler, I doubt it's any different)
-Don't rely heavily on stock image even though the items do look similar they may not have exact details or color.
- The items will have a strong factory smell that takes about a week to go away!

So in total, I ordered eight pairs of shoes and spent $138 = $78 for total and $59 for shipping which means I paid about $17 bucks for each pair which isn't that bad, I spend way more buying shoes at marshals or at payless and payless has the same quality as this site. I would much more recommend getting a bag or two, a pair of boots or some sneakers to really get your moneys worth. Try and focus on items that might have a style that is difficult to find in your stores.

So first, my order arrived pretty fast. In less than a week I suppose in a big cardboard box. All the shoes were squished together and had a bunch of wrinkles, most went away pretty fast. I could smell the shoes even without opening the box. A very strong factory chemically smell filled my entire room LOL.

4/5 - Beautiful, I loved how these look but my only issue is my left foot kept sliding off the sandal because of the poor craftsman ship on the fabric. I am used to it now, so it isn't so bad as when I first put them on but I still wish the quality was better.

3.5/5 - No they did send me the right color, I just couldnt get a stock pic of the black ones. They look nice, they are just like the picture. Except the material is cheap (artificial leather) The light cream color started to peel off with little wear, I just hope the black part doesn't come off. And the fit is a big on my skinny feet. They are comfy but they just look too wide and big on me. I've worn these the most out of all the pairs so I still like them.

5/5 - Yes, you are seeing correctly. This is the same brand of shoe that Yesstyle sells for $30-$40 a pair called "HVBAO". They look exactly the same, the quality is the same, they may not be the "real deal" but I can tell no difference and I have bought the authentic ones off Yesstyle for $38. I got these for school, they came with 4 laces to tie them with.

2/5 - I borderline hate these. The color is much darker in real life. I don't care much for the ugly ruffly things attached to it. I would not hate these so much if they were just more COMFORTABLE. Easily the most uncomfortable shoes I ever bought. The outer sole is hard as a rock, it's so inflexible. You can also see where it is literally super-glued on to the shoe.

4/5 - I do like these, they look cute and they are not far from the actual photo except it came in a total mess. I had to cut the bow strings and fix the strings that wrap around the ankles. It was difficult to get these to look anything like the photo when they came totally smashed and wrinkled. I think getting these in black means it looks dirtier over time, especially since the material they used isn't as nice as it should be.

4/5 - These came in better condition than the black ones. Ok, the photography is very tricky in this case . They make the boots look so cute in these(stolen) pictures, its bright , glowy and most of all deceiving. But with all that said, I'd probably still buy these in a different color(beige) because they are comfy, and look darn cute either way.

Would I buy from Lovely-shoes again? Yep,just a bit more careful next time :)

I know many people are really into shoes, fill their entire closet with them and are willing to pay top dollar for the perfect pair. I am however, no where near obsessed with my shoes. I have never had more than twenty pairs, and before this haul I only had about five pairs(that I actually wear). I have never spent over $40 for a pair of shoes. I have special occasion shoes,(which I got at marshalls) and a few pairs of sandals, and now these new shoes I consider my "casual" shoes for school and going out. So until you see me strike it rich I will continue to get my clothes and shoes at wholesalers and discount shops! ;)

Circle Lense Review : G&G Super Nudy Pink from Kiwiberry

Heres my review of the G&G Super Nudy Pink which were kindly sent to me by Kiwiberry-1collection . Yes another circle lenses blog entry!I promise a makeup or fashion post after this :)

So first off, I wanted to talk about the actual site. Kiwiberry is in my opinion, one of the best seller of circle lenses right now. They have a wonderful collection that offers a ton of variety and many series that may not be common on other sites. I also like how they have promotions all time time like special offers and discounts. Their customer service is excellent. Even before I was contacted by them they would answer me when I asked them something. They answer every question they get and respond very promptly through email. They are also located in Canada which makes it very quick for us in the U.S and Canada to receive circle lenses. It took about 5 days for me to receive my lenses, by far the fastest of any site I have bought from.

Color - 4/5 Not necessarily very pink but a nice light purple color that actually shows up. With flash the pink is more noticeable but in person they appear more purple.

Design - 5/5 - Just like the Geo Super Nudy and EOS versions but has a less pronounced black ring and I still think even though they seem identical these are a bit lighter.

Size - 5/5 - HUGE!! 14.5 they look ridiculously big on me so I would only wear these for an occasion not for school or everyday.

Comfort - 3/5 - Kind of bothersom the first few hours of wear, it felt like there was something in my eye so I was always blinking. After 8 hours of wear it was less bothersom but I wanted to take them off.

Overall - 4/5 - I like these but wish they were more comfy. I was told the EOS version of these is more comfortable but I like how these look more(even though they are nearly identical) .

A shout out to those of you who inspire me

First of all I am sorry for lack of post/videos . I haven't had proper internet for more than a week now, but now I'm back and this is just something I typed in the time I didn't have anything to do.. it's a bit long but like I said I didn't have internet for a week and a half -_-'

^ Last makeup I did a couple days ago(yes I look different without bangs) ;_;

So the reason why I came up with the idea of doing this post might sound a bit strange but here goes. So this week there has been some major drama yet again in the Youtube makeup community, I won't go into specifics, but until this I always thought of the makeup community as being innocent and sisterly in a sense. I was under the impression that everyone got along, no one talked crap about anybody, and so on. But boy was I WRONG. I discovered controversy after controversy about beauty gurus,makeup companies, the worst scandalous drama you could imagine. I even stumbled upon a very popular beauty guru trashing forum, that I'm sure most of you will get a kick out of reading but it's still a bit unsettling.

So just about everything I've been reading has been without a doubt extremely negative, so I am here to bring you something POSITIVE. I wanted to share a list of my all-time most inspiring people in the bloghosphere/Youtube world. And of course, because I don't have the guts to say this to them directly, I will also share exactly why I like them so much.

I was going to put up pictures next to their names to make this more entertaining to read, but I wasn't sure if they would be ok with me doing that.

Ok, so let's begin ^_^

Queenie/BeautyQQ - I look at her and think "that's what I wanna be like when I'm older" I can't understand Mandarin to save my life, but even through subbed videos I really feel inspired when I watch her videos . She is stunning for her age, not just on the outside but her personality is so positive and genuine. I love it when beauty guru's are not afraid to laugh or act silly in their videos. Queenie has a way of being entertaining yet still informative and professional and she is not afraid to express herself. We also share a love for cute chihuahuas :)

Fuzkittie - I don't think I know anyone who doens't like fuz. She has a warm personality and it really shows in her videos because she is always smiling and it really seems like she enjoys living life to the fullest. When I see people like fuz who don't ever seem to have a bad day(I'm sure she does, but my point is she never seems like things get to her) it makes me want to be like that too. I remember back in the day, when she didn't have so many followers I would read her 5 page long post about confidence and happiness and other life topics like this , searching for advice from someone much wiser than me. Now that I look back on it, those post really did help me out in a lot of ways . First of all,she taught me a lot about self-esteem(me being very short, not as pretty or cute as her, and extremely shy) she actually made me feel better about myself. I learned quite a bit about healthy dieting, and if it wasn't for her I would of never known what "matcha" tea was. And lastly(in order to not sound like a stalker which I probably already do!) she helped me understand that being nice,respectful and staying out of drama does get you somewhere(she is obviously super successful in both her career and her beauty guru life) .

Eki from Ekilove - I think if anyone deserves to be like the next bubzbeauty or MichellePhan it's gonna be her . I think one reason she inspires me is because how relatable she is. Well, not like I am a skilled makeup artist or am super famous in the blogosphere but we have a few things in common. She loves art and its amazing how she took her passion in life and made it into a career. I really admire how she became a makeup artist, went to beauty school (Check out her portfolio, her skills are crazy). I could only dream of doing such amazing work while running my own business at the same time. I remember when Ekilove first started and only sold bows and hair accessories. Now she makes jewelery,pouches..all handmade and runs everything on her own, now that's a role model. AND she is very kind and generous to her customers, something I wish I could say about all business owners.

Akisa from BeautySwatch - I'm sure at one point or another everyone has heard of BeautySwatch. I think it takes a ton of effort and creativity to make a site that stands on it's own yet mainly has to do with lip product swatches. She has been so successful in getting publicity for her site(more like press caught on to her), and I think this is inspiring to many bloggers who don't think they have what it takes to make their ideas a reality. All these bloggers who literally update daily yet still work all week, take care of their families and do loads of other stuff in their lives is really something I respect. And even though Akisa doesn't really do many videos I have seen a few and even seen some wedding photos(in which she did her own makeup btw) she acts professional and is very blunt but never rude(which is why I like her reviews). See, now I feel bad for not doing enough lip swatches for her :(

cl2425 - Catalina is super sweet and very talented with makeup. You don't need to be a makeup artist to be good at makeup, she just does it because she has fun and wants to teach others what she knows. Her video editing and computer skills in general are crazy good, makes me wish I knew what I was doing =P She is also super sincere and down to earth. I have tuned in many times to her blogtvs and she gives genuine advice to her viewers and always answers their questions and even treats the haters with respect. You rock Catalina :)

Adorabatbrat - Has the most amazing figure for her age and she can very well be my mom(which would be awesome) She has three kids , is in a electro goth band, does modeling, and dresses in spectacular outfits and makeup all the time. Her style is so out there and amazing. Reminds me a lot of the gothic lolita style I would go to Walgreens and Kmart in on a daily basis , (what happened to me?) She inspires me because she doesn't have this fear. And she is an amazing dieter. I never heard of the Montignac diet before her blog, it's works wonders!

Melove5 - Melody is a Circle lense guru in my book and I recently found out I am a year older than her yet she has probably triple the amount of circle lenses and far better makeup skills than me! I need to step up my game lol. I like how she is honest with her subscribers and doesn't try to be someone shes not. Which is difficult to do at this age where people try to judge you so much. When she came out saying she no longer preferred K-pop because she prefers the talent of J-rock bands verses the superficiality of Korean Celebs I was very impressed because it takes guts to say something most of your viewers probably disagree with yet still have them support you because you make a point.

If you managed to read up til here you deserve a round of applause o_o I know it's a huge wall of text, but I feel there's things people don't understand about Beauty Guru's and bloggers and that is that they are not successful merely because of their looks or makeup skills but because they are inspiring individuals.I had many other people in mind to talk about, but then this would be 50 pages long.

To end this pot, I'd like to give a huge thank you to all of my followers and subscribers! 380 of you on this blog and 1400 on my Youtube channel! I have been receiving so many emails lately that really make my day. I appreciate all of your support, because without you I wouldn't of gotten where I am ,because you all inspire me to keep going. And with that said, I hope I can continue doing this for years to come since this has become one of my main hobbies.

New Circle Lense Video + Tutorial : Everyday Japanese Eye Makeup

Hey guys , so just wanted to let you know I've uploaded two new videos. One is a video of me modeling my favorite circle lenses, the Geo Nudy Golden Blue. I know I have previously done a video and review on these but this will be the last time you see these most likely because they are way past their expiration date and need to be tossed :( Atleast until I get my hands on a new pair. I will be making a series of modeling videos of my small lens collection, followed by reviews and such.

In response to the negative news about circle lenses, I simply think it was poorly played out on their part. As in, every article or news video I saw had no real basis for facts and did little research even though their message was very clear(circle lenses are dangerous,don't buy them ect.) In my honest opinion, the only real thing they gain from all of it is the doctors who will make money because circle lenses are so much cheaper than regular Acevue or Freshlooks. They might of noticed how popular they have become, and that their patients have not been buying the regular American contacts. But by claiming that circle lenses should be illegal because they are "not approved by the FDA" is total bull, of course they aren't approved here, but they are in Korea where they are manufactured!If you cared for circle lenses the same as any other lens, you should have no problems what so ever, so I don't understand what the big controversy is all about. Anyways, I can go for pages about this topic, I'd rather just make a video about it later -_-'

Been playing around with my camera settings lately, uptil last week I had no idea what "MF" stood for, and still dont, but I know it makes pictures super sharp!

My eyes before ^ need to cut bangs yes? They grow so fast, yet the hair I want to grow fast is so slow.

It was my first time entering that contest, really did not expect to win. My prize will arrive next week, but I am not allowed to tell you guys about the products till they hit the shelves. Asia Fashion Wholesale Haul & Reviews (pic heavy)

This is something I've never done before which is buy from a wholesale store. I was inspired to do this because of all the buzz about wholesale shops on Soompi's Beauty and Fashion forum. I read tons of mixed reviews when deciding what website to buy from, so I hope for the person who was as confused as I was this will be a big help to them.

So first off, a wholesale online store is basically a site that sells fashion for very cheap price(4-8$) Most of the common Chinese/Korean wholesale stores, such as Wholesaledress.com , Asia-fashion-wholesale , Happy-wholesale, Yipif, Dressky,and Zipia often sell replicated items for very cheap and have high shipping cost based on weight. There is also Lovely-shoes.net which sells mainly shoes and bags which I find to be decent quality and have very positive reviews. Out of all of these sites, in my opinion Wholesale-dress is the worse in terms of both quality and customer service, Asia-fashion-wholesale and Happy-Wholesale are the same(average), Yipif is also quite bad, and Zipia is the highest quality but they are the most expensive. Yesstyle is not considered a wholesale store because they charge retail prices for most things,very cheap shipping, and often they sell authentic brands. All these sites I just mentioned, are TRUSTWORTHY but please be mindful most will not give you a full refund if you dislike an item ^^'

So the reason for me shopping at Asia-fashion-wholesale is simple. I was tired of paying top dollar for Asian style clothes, tired of the long shipping time from Yesstyle, and looking for affordable fashion and shoes to start the school year. My total for these 22 pieces was $178 , so about $8 per item and this includes a 60$ shipping cost. When I did the math, this is a very economical way to shop. On Yesstyle and Forever21, I was spending average $20 per item. Which means I would need to spend at least $400 to buy as many things as I did the wholesale shop.

Here are some things to watch out for :
- Clothing that is transparent, even in the model's picture can often mean very thin and bad quality.
- Items such as dresses or tops that look way too good to be true ; with intricate detail, beautiful color, designer style ect.
- Chiffon material!! It is not good quality chiffon, it's very delicate and transparent. Save your money and buy clothes made from cotton.
- Be sure to see real photos of the items, do not rely heavily on the stock image as this may not be the same item you receive and of course everything looks better with beautiful models and studio photography. Check out this Tumblr for pictures of clothing modeled on real people.
- Items that are very heavy because this will dramatically increase shipping cost.
- Measurements , measurements! Always read the measurements on the site to make sure something will fit you, or not be too short or too long. Size conversion charts are handy!

Ok, so boring part is over!=P I think that's about everything you need to know. So now for the FUN part! The pictures of course..

For reference I am approximately 5'2 and weigh 93-94lbs . I wear a size 1-3 in woman's, and often buy size small. "One size" clothing typically will fit a small to a medium depending on how stretchable it is. First off, my package arrived in about four days which was extremely quick.I paid the cheapest shipping which was DHL Express. They sent me tons of emails notifying me of my order process.

^ No cardboard box? yep.. it was wrapped in another plastic bag thing. Which means tons of wrinkling but less shipping cost. When I opened it, it looked like this :

2/5 - Probably my least favorite. Not like picture for a few reasons. The brown strings are way too short, there is a huge gap between the under layer and the top layer so it looks very transparent. It's a bit too long,doesn't fit right and overall it's just not my style =/ I look like I'm dressed to a Renaissance festival or a granny or something! This probably would only work for some fancy photo-shoot or costume.

3/5 - I rolled up the sleeves because it looked too baggy. Obviously you don't get the vest with it, so I'd have to buy one =/ It's not that bad, the color is a bit off, seems lighter. Also the neck line is a bit small, I expected more of my chest to show.

4/5 - I didn't give this a 5/5 because I don't like the white chiffon attacked to the sweater, it looks cheap so I might just snip it off. Other than that,looks exactly like the picture, maybe with a few washings it will shrink. T-shirt part is good quality, it's thick, so is the sweater part. It's all one piece, everything is attached together.

4/5 - Top is very nice quality, except for the grey chiffon part(I am not a big fan of chiffon as you already know) But it's not terrible either. The materials used are interesting.The polkadot top underneath is like swim suit material o_o? yea.. and the sweater is very thick and not stretchable. It's almost impossible for me to roll up the sleeves like how the model has it. But it looks pretty much the same as the picture, I have worn this out once already.
4/5 - The leggings are very nice. Though let me warn you they are NOT faux leather or even remotely close to the fake shiny leather material. They are a thin fabric with a shiny outer coating. But in pictures they appear like the real thing. These are comfy and breathable, so I still like these very much. Will buy another pair made from thicker material.

3/5 - Because I can't stand the material. It really cheapens the quality of this,because I really wanted to love it. I do like it however, because it's adorable. I can't get over how cute and ninja-ey it looks!But! I don't like the umbrella fabric or what ever they used to make it. I would of given 5/5 if it was made from regular black cotton.Also wish it fit a bit more snug around the legs. I will purchase a similar style romper made from cotton.

4/5 - There really isn't anything wrong with these. They are just not my style. A bit too much fishnet makes them look cheap. But I would still wear these I guess.

I also ordered a black hat and grey belt. I didn't photograph these but the hat is very nice. The cap part is brown not black. And the belt I am a bit mixed, my mom absolutely hates it and thinks it looks "ghetto" whith the gold and the rhimestones. But I think it can be worked with something.. but it still isn't too cute.

So overall will I buy again? Do I recommend this?

YES! Absolutely . I think after this first purchase I am much more knowledgeable about what to look for and what to avoid. I think my next purchase from a wholesale will be much better. This was a trial and error, and I am honestly very happy with the service of this website. It arrived so fast, and none of my items were out of stock. Overall, a very positive experience. The quality rivals that of Yesstyle, but at almost a fourth of the cost. Yes the shipping is quite high, but even with that the items turn out ridiculously cheap.

Japanese goodies from Sara Mari & other misc + tag

I meant to post this a while ago, anyways I have a feeling this will be an extremely long post mainly consisting of picture dumps ^^'' This is just some japanese goodies I recieved from Sara Mari who's blog is Momments Like Diamonds, I won her giveaway last month and I love the prizes :D thank you so much!

At first I was quite confused at some of the things, especially the candies.. I didn't know if they were actually edible LOL . And of course I don't read Japanese so totally confused at things with no english on them.

There's this really cute phone chain doll, with button eyes xD it's ugly and cute at the same time. There was also like three pairs of earrings I wanted to wear, but I don't have any piercing so boo :(

It got to me really fast(about 4 days), which I was surprised at because that just shows she cares ^^. Makes me want to hold another giveaway asap seeing all the effort she put into it.. but I'm so broke :( I just did some major damage at a wholesale store, which I will try to post about this week since I have quite a bit on my mind about the items.

I was curious what was in the lucky bag, so I opened that last. In Japan, "Lucky bags" are really popular, even with clothing stores they sometimes hold a yearly lucky bag event. Once I spent about 10000yen on a lucky bag with clothes which is risky because you might get something totally hideous but it's the thrill of the mystery why people buy those things =P

The lashes were my favorite, they fit really well and weren't heavy or too long. I wore these in my previous post on the Tsubasa makeup .

I emediately teared open the box to try them on >.<

And here's my hair for that week.. I am quite addicted to curls nowadays( have not had straight hair in over a month) I like it because it's faster to do, it last longer, and it's easier to maintain(and probably less damaging).

This was on the first day I curled my hair, I wanted to see how long it would last as a little experiment and was kind of shocked(I didn't use hair spray or anything on my hair).

Second day:

Third day: *LOL* yes, I never wear makeup. I'm too lazy and unskilled.

Fourth day !!: Though I have to admit I cheated a bit and used hair oil to revive the shine and shape of the curls.

Amazing right? =P I am considering buying a real curling iron, but I'm worried it simply won't do a good of a job as my CHI iron. There's so many flat irons I have not tried, besides Chi and Solia(I gave it away) there is also the Sedu and GHD which are ranked right up there.

I also rediscovered a nail polish I hadn't used in years.. It's the Wet n Wild Wild Shine in Blazed. This color is sort of strange, at first I think it's peach, but then it looks hot pink, for example :

And another interesting find of June was two new wigs for me to play with! :) I was kindly donated these by someone who works at the flea market. The black one needed a lot of cutting and trimming and washing, it also has a bit of a static problem but I think that's fixable too. The short one is really cute but doesn't seem to fit my head -_-' Here's some pictures for you're amusement.

The long hair wig , you can totally tell that this is NOT my hair , I could never have this much hair grow from my head... and my hair isn't black either. But I find it would come in handy if I was ever to dress up as a Kill Bill Japanese school girl or something..

I toned down the shine a bit by adding baby powder, but that just made the frizz go crazy. I'm clueless at this point on how to fix it .

And here's a freaky picture of me with the short hair wig LOL xD this is why I don't smile with teeth in pictures, I been told I have "fangs".Anyways, this is a good alternative for those who don't know if they want shorter hair or just want to see how they would look.

As you can see.. haven't worn makeup in weeks. It's time for a tutorial? :)
And as always, I end my post with a food porn picture. This was two pizza's I made for my boyfriend from scratch .Even though I'm lactose intolerant, I still ate it.The first attempt kind of sucked, not enough cheese. But the second attempt.. well, you'll see .

3. I don't use sunscreen, ever. This is probably a death sentence to a lot of people,but for me I just don't care for it. I don't leave my house even though I live in sunny Miami Florida. I never get any sun so that's why I don't wear sunscreen.

4. I am chinese, hispanic, and black. Yep, most people ask me this so I thought I'd clear it up =P

5. I am still in highschool(no duh) With a 3.0 gpa and no plans to go to an ivy league college.

6. My dream as a child(and still now, though it's quite unrealistic) Is to be a singer in a band or a solo artist. I love singing more than anything and I really wish to make a career of it, thus why I am learning guitar.

7. I cuss like crazy!!!omg, I use a curse word in almost every other sentence when speaking to my friends(who cuss twice as much as me!). I try to keep my language clean on my blog but don't be fooled lol.

Tutorial: Tsubasa Inspired Blue makeup

Hi guys! I just finished uploading this new tutorial. I was inspired by this magazine scan of Tsubasa where she has like this electric blue eyeliner. But I found a different way of doing it, so here's the tutorial :3

-Imju fiberwig mascara (from sephora)
-NYX round lipstick Strawberry Milk (from cherryculture)
-NYX round lipgloss Whipped

I'm wearing black circle lense called Neo Rink Circle, they are super small =P

Thinly lined eyes with Majolica liquid liner.

Then I used the blue eyeshadow and applied it wet with an angled eyeliner brush.

Fix the eyeliner once the eyeshadow dries.

I applied the false lashes and mascara to the bottom lashes. You can use false bottom lashes but I found it looked too heavy and that my natual eyelashes were sufficient enough =P

I wore NYX lipstick in strawberry milk and then topped it with NYX lipgloss in "Whipped" which is my favorite color combinations :)

I look so ghostly pale in these =P Makes me mad at how SUNBURNT I am right now!! Went to the beach yesterday and my face is super red.. If you want to vacation in Miami, never ever go to the beach at around 1-4 p.m.. those are the worst because the sun is directly on top and it burns you instantly. I think best time is early morning or in the evening.

FOTD Strawberry Cheesecake

This is from a while back I'm assuming since my hair looks a bit short and the cheesecake I made is long gone =P But I this is little pictorial so I thought I'd post it anyway.

It looks pretty modest from far away but close-up its like BAM hot pink action o_o I just felt like using bright pink that day because I made my first ever Strawberry Cheescake which I spent like 6 hours in the kitchen slaving over!haha.

What I used :
- NYX eyeshadow primer in White.
- Coastal Scents 88 matte palette
- Majolica Jeweling eyes PK85
- Makeup forever eyeliner OL

^ Just the first two colors.

First prime eyes with white base to make pink more vibrant. I put it on the top and bottom of my eyelid.

Then apply a light layer of hot pink eyeshadow to start building the color.

Apply more of the same hot pink on the outer corners

Apply the a matte white shadow and then a matte baby pink over it on the inner lid and blend together with the hot pink.

The colors should be a gradient starting from white to baby pink to hot pink to a very dark hot pink. I intensified the outer corner using a tiny bit of red eyeshadow but this is optional.

Line eyes with a black pencil, though I didn't wing my eyeliner out like I usually do this was to make the eyes look more rounded. Then I took an angled brush and smudged the bottom eyeliner a bit and mixed it with pink.

I applied criss-cross clashes on the outer corners only, and regualr Imju Fiberwig mascara on my bottom lashes. Last thing is to use a shimmery pink eyeshadow(from the majolica palette) on the brow bone and inner corners.

Done! :D

Gahhh!this camera drives me crazy with it's weird yellow hues.. I'm so glad I finally have my Canon back :) I been making new videos now and I never have to use my webcam ever again thank god.

Omg, sorry if my mask painting scared some of you o_o , it always hiding in the background =P I actually painted that myself back in 7th grade(5 years ago!)I was quite the disturbed,morbid child.

But as promised, here's the cheesecake I made from scratch. Yes I know, the strawberry part is red not pink, but I don't think bright red eyeshadow looks good on anyone but geisha maybe :3

And then a few weeks after that my mom handed me 5 pounds of cream cheese and guess what I did?..

Chocolate Marble Cheesecake galore! I made 5 in total, each with it's unique dark chocolate swirl design *_* too pretty to eat. My favorite part though, the chocolate animal cracker crust.

My dream job would be to work at a bakery(but then of course,gain like 40lbs in my first month)
