a little change

2012-09-10T10:39:00.001-04:00

i've been debating on cutting my hair for weeks. i felt an attachment to my hair because i wanted long hair for so long and it took awhile for it to get this long. when my hair gets to a certain length it tends to get really straggly looking, looks dead and just hangs with no body. so! i took the plunge and got it cut and lighted it up.

bad iphone pic, but you get the picture! it lays so much nicer now.

sometimes you just need a change.

royal naval dockyard maritime museum

2012-07-03T16:58:00.005-04:00

the bermuda maritime museum is located about 5 minutes walking distance from where cruise ships dock, in kings wharf. for a small fee we got to explore this awesome place, and even watch some dolphins.

heh heh we're gonna blow you up, the norwegian star!

they were so cute. sam got to swim with them on our first day in bermuda. she got a last minute deal.

crystal & fantasy caves.

2012-07-03T00:09:00.001-04:00

"In 1905, two young teenagers named Carl Gibbons and Edgar Hollis were engaged in a spirited game of cricket. One of the lads struck the ball with ferocity and it disappeared into a hole several yards away. This ball was a prized possession and no effort was spared at attempting to retrieve it. As one of the boys crawled down deeper and deeper, it became apparent that this was not your ordinary hole. What the boys had discovered was, in fact, the entrance to a spectacular natural wonder." Read more here.

this was a really cool adventure that we decided to go on. the pictures really do not do them justice. we got to explore two caves.

2012-07-02T14:53:00.000-04:00

last week my family, anthony and some friends of mine went on a cruise to bermuda. we all had a lot of fun. i'm going to break down the posts of the trip that way one post isn't so huge. here are some pics from around the ship. we went on the celebrity summit.

we left on june 24th.

not even an hour on the boat and we walked in on tim napping. we had lots of jokes about napping and tim. tim came up with 5 stages of napping. he even fell asleep in a bar on the ship.

first formal night

i think tim looks like he's holding a can of beer but its actually just on his shirt.

Ant & Tim did karaoke. Quite entertaining. Ant got 4 compliments on their performance hahahha.

2nd formal.

valentines day 2012

2012-02-21T22:28:00.000-05:00

we celebrated our 4th valentines together. each year it just keeps getting better. we never go too crazy but we put a lot of thought into what we do for each other.

the night started off at anthonys. he turned his room in a lil cafe called Antonios. he prepared spinach lasagna. (ova-vegetarian of course)

we always make each other a little something. he knit me a rose <3

we then went to my house where i served dessert. i served red velvet brownies with vegan buttercream frosting with bubble wine.

ever since ant got his iPad we play life all the time. i decided to make him life tiles that reflect what we've experienced together.
