I love the look of detachable collars and I've really been wanting to try this trend along with the peter pan collar since it came out. It took awhile though cause most detachable collars and peter pan tops I see in the market are cute and girly. Although nice, they're not really my style. The peter pan shape is enough cute for me without any additional girly embelishments.</div>

You can buy punchers (the ones that look like pliers) in National but I had to use my scissors for this step since I broke my puncher a few weeks ago. When using scissors, be careful not to make your hole too big.</div>

I'm a big fan of Chef Bruce and his restaurants. Whenever Dennis and I are in Galleria, we make it a point to have a meal at Hyphy's or Lutong Hinirang. We've never been disappointed. Not once. I had lunch in Lutong Hinirang again recently with Ana and I ordered their Calamansi and Tuyo Pasta. It was so good that I havent stopped thinking about it since then.</div>

I'm sure a lot of us are currently challenged as to which "Lent Appropriate" meals to serve to our family so I thought it wouldn't hurt to post this. </div>

(good for 2-3 big eaters)</div>

<li> about a 3rd of a 500 gm pack of Pasta - Linguine, Spaghetti or whatever you have</li>
<li>1 head of garlic crushed and chopped or 2 heads of native garlic (that's what I used)</li>
<li>4-6 pieces of tuyo ( I used 6 cause I love tuyo)</li>
<li>olive oil a substantial amount</li>
<li>grated queso de bola</li>
<li>salt</li>
<li>3-4 calamansi</li>
</ul>

<i>*For International Readers - Tuyo is a Filipino delicacy that is similar to Anchovies, only slightly bigger, while Calamansi is our local lemon.</i></div>

<b><span style="font-size: large;">Procedure:</span></b></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<ul>
<li style="text-align: left;">Take off the head and skin/scales of the tuyo.</li>
<li style="text-align: left;">Fry on low heat with olive oil (low heat so the tuyo has the chance of flavoring the oil without burning)</li>
<li style="text-align: left;">Remove tuyo from pan, take out spine (you don't have to, I just don't like it) and roughly chop it</li>
<li style="text-align: left;">Saute garlic in same pan, add cooked noodles, mix, add juice of calamansi,salt, mix, put cooked tuyo back in pan, turn off heat, mix some more.</li>
<li style="text-align: left;">Serve with grated queso de bola cheese.</li>
</ul>

Certainly getting a lot of mileage on this metal belt I purchased from Nava last year. They had a single band version which I really wanted at first but the metal portion was too wide for me,didn't have the preconceived thought that maybe I could bend it to my liking? Might go back to the store and see if I can. Haven't been able to go out shopping lately. So busy with other things.</div>

There were a lot more tubes of Carmex lipgloss in the bag but my friends all helped themselves to it even before I got home! We all love Carmex! Who doesn't right? I think we all grew up with the brand. Same is true with Heno de Pravia. My 80's memories are all scented with it's "conyo", clean and powdery scent. I think I'm putting it back on the grocery list from now on! Along with it's cousin, Denenes! Remember that? I never realized that Nostalgia could smell so irrisistably good!</div>

LOS ANGELES, CA (February 8, 2012) 7 For All Mankind, the world’s premiere brand of denim-lifestyle products, unveils a groundbreaking new Spring 2012 marketing campaign. Born from an art film imagined and created by James Franco in collaboration with the brand’s creative agency, LIPMAN, the unorthodox campaign is an innovative multimedia experience that embodies the brand’s California roots and ‘forever cool’ aesthetic. The campaign debuts with a short teaser video, which was shot from behind the point of view of James Franco. The campaign will feature a number of cutting-edge print and digital assets and will culminate with a full-length feature film to be released in May.<br />

The new campaign brings the brand to life through the eyes of Franco resulting in a stimulating visual journey. “This marks an important evolution for 7 For All Mankind. The campaign is the perfect platform for us to tell our brand story of a modern, elevated California lifestyle," said Barry Miguel, President of 7 For All Mankind. “It takes the brand to a new level and communicates both our image and product in a new and compelling way.”<br />

Shadowing a cast of actors, artists, models and musicians that embody the Los Angeles way of life, including Lily Donaldson, Henry Hopper and Amber Anderson, the campaign depicts the story of a hedonistic house party that takes place over a warm December weekend in Malibu. Evoking the causal California lifestyle interspersed with fashion and sexuality, the resulting imagery and film communicates the brands’ values with a realism that is entirely unique.<br />
<br />
While Franco is known for his exceptional work in the arts, this was his first time shooting an advertising campaign. “Working with 7 For All Mankind was an amazing experience. I was able to work in ways that were similar to what I do in the film world but in this case we had a tremendous amount of freedom. We were liberated from the conventional film apparatus and were able to create something both classic and new," said James Franco. “The campaign was born out of a desire to do something that has never been done before,” said David Lipman, Founder and CCO of LIPMAN. “With James helming the camera, you connect so strongly to the narrative and yearn to be a part of it.”<br />

The campaign launch includes a dedicated 7 For All Mankind You Tube channel debuting on February 15th (youtube.com/7forallmankindjeans). The print and digital assets will live on the YouTube channel including curated episodes, which delve into the key cast members’ journey throughout the shoot. The episodes, all edited and directed by Franco, showcase the unique interpretation and expression of the brand. The channel will have a global phasing in of local market translations.

These photos were taken right after my first bleaching process after a failed bleaching/pink hair stint. I am undergoing my 3rd bleaching process as I write this post.<br />
