Acer announced brand new 7.9 inch Tablet PC called 'Acer Iconia A1 Tab'. Packed with features like Android 4.2 (Jelly Bean version), 1.2GHz quad-core processor, MediaTek chip, 1GB RAM and 1024x768 LCD resolution.

Acer mentioned it as 'one hand tablet'. Iconia A1 is just 11.1mm thick and weighs around 410 grams for wifi version and 430 grams for 3G version. Display is of IPS XGA LCD. There is 2 storage options 8GB and 16GB. 5MP rear camera with 1080p video recording and 2MP front camera for video chats.

For Additional storage microSD slot that support up-to 32GB. It has ports like Headphone jack, Micro USB and Micro HDMI. Extra options like Bluetooth 4.0, GPS and Wi-fi. A1 tab also includes a 18.6Wh rechargeable battery that can run up-to 8 Hrs. 16Gb version is priced around $200 and will be in the stores from June 2013 on-wards.
