It was a party in Shroom, Crescent Mall. It was hosted by Riyaaz Amlani, Shiv Karan Singh and Harmeet Bajaj. The party featured DJ Phil Keiran. We danced so much that we burnt the floor and set it on fire. And the DJ played some awesome music for us. Did I do Tango? Of course, I did.

The weekend and the fun has just begun.

Today was our friend Sonia's Birthday (The one in all black). We decided to take her out for lunch to Machan in Taj Mansingh. But today was also my very busy working day. I could sneak out two hours for this lunch. So could not dress up. For first time, I went ahead in my track pants only. I had a salad of asparagus and green pea.

I had to finish this lunch and reach for a yoga class. In response to my last post, I got four emails from different parts of the world. These people asked me that I should share more of my old pictures. So from now on, I will try to post my old pics every now and then. The pic below is 1996. The date on the pic says so. Seems like yesterday. Get ready to see more old pics.

I loved beret even then. I had my nose pierced and had long hair.

My family member posted this picture of mine on fb. Here I was 19 year old. I saw this and am so amused. I am looking so different- I was fat, had long straight hair, was so innocent, was such a kid.
This is at my cousin sister's wedding. I wore a sari. This pic had to be shared on my blog.

Patanjali Yoga Sutra #1

Shasana means rules someone imposes on you. Anushasana is the rule you impose upon yourself. Do you see the difference? Now, why is yoga called a discipline? Where is the need for discipline? When does the need for discipline arise?

Atha yoganushasanam – when translated, this means now I will enunciate the discipline of Yoga.

1. Your hands might not remain as soft, specially if you do not wear gloves. You might break a nail.
2. You could even bruise a male ego.
3. You’ll eat properly and still be able to lose fat. Because of the gained muscle mass.

There is so much strength in our sankalpa, we forget this. So many people have their work done without asking. Have faith. With faith a lot can change.

Break through all the barriers and feel that you are blessed. This Is the one and only step you have to take - the rest will all happen....'

How many children eat cereal for breakfast? About 95%, why? Because of marketing.
I say why not give the children a healthier choice. Kids will be kids. They are going to eat junk food and experiment. Parents you understand exactly what I am talking about. Most health conscious folks know sugar cereal is bad. But all cereal?Allow me to dispel the common misconceptions about one of the most

My article in Mail today.

I always say, "The last straw breaks the camel's back".
Art of Living’s’ policy is not to see intention behind others’ mistakes. Once, twice, thrice as much as your capacity is, you keep forgiving. But then when it comes up to your neck, you say, “No more”.
There was a king who was all the time hurling abuses at Lord Krishna, when Lord Krishna was here on the planet. Fear and threat to survival can bring people together. You make friendships because you have a common problem. You talk about your problems and become friends. For example, sickness, job dissatisfaction, etc…People get together because they

Papa CJ and Friends' featuring Rajiv Satyal, Azhar Usman & Hari Kondabolu

NEVER BEFORE have four international headliners of Indian origin been on the same stage. THIS SHOW WAS NOT TO BE MISSED. I saw the show in Epicentre, Gurgaon. Throughout the show I was laughing so much. It was hilarious. I just loved it.

Indian stand-up comedian of international repute, Papa CJ, introduced three of his friends from the US comedy circuit.

Today me and my darling friends shot for Bhangra aerobics for "The Week" magazine. It will be on stands soon. The theme of course was fusion of punjabi and western attire.

Harmonicka, my Caanaada waali friend, seeped into the characted and oozed out with paraandi, bangles, bindi and kurti. My Delhi babes, Madhavi and Chand, attired in their most fashionable and trendy kurtis with tights.

I had written this post some time back. Check it here

I guess it is time to reiterate it.

If, even one person, in the whole group

The three musketeers

Attachment is that which gives you pain. Love is that without which you cannot live. If love becomes attachment, then the same love which was giving you joy, starts to inflict pain. Attachment is when you want something in return. If you love and do not want anything in return, then that love doesn’t turn into attachment.
DON'T LET LOVE BLIND U...LET IT SET U FREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE

Today, I am inspired to write this blog post after reading Leia blog post here. Privacy on blogosphere is important and how do I ensure that?

Yes, as much as my life seems like an open book, it is not so. I am quite careful with what I write and what I mention. At the back of my mind, while writing a blog, many things are lurking.
