Intel Launches Two New Android Education Tabs for Students

As Aakash 4 Ubislate Tablet proves helpful for students in India to work with it. Similarly, Intel launching Education Tablets in two different sizes with the most advanced portable OS Android installed by default.

Intel Education Tablets will come in 7-inch as well as in 10-inch touchscreen display. Well the chip maker has optimized this slate in good combinations. The 7" Tab will feature multi-touch TFT display with a 1024x600p resolution. On the other hand, the 10-inch slab has a capacitive TFT LCD touchscreen with a high 1280x800p resolution.

The Education Tablets features dual cameras, it has a 0.3MP VGA front facing camera for video callings and a 2 megapixel rear camera to take some classic shots as well as record videos in high quality formats in real time. The camera sections of the both size tablets will be same.

However, 7-inch Intel Students Tab is powered by a 1.2GHz Intel Atom z2420 chipset. On the contrary, 1.6GHz Intel Atom Z2460 Processor for the 10" Intel Education Tablet. Both of the tabs are supported by the 1GB LPDDR2 RAM for better device performance.

Internal (inbuilt) memory storage capacity for 7-inch tablets up to 8GB and for 10" tab it supports 16GB internal storage. It can be expanded further using the microSD card. 16GB for smaller tab and 32GB for larger tab respectively. Apart from that it has integrated speakers and microphones for both tabs sizes.

Now tablet or Smartphone running Android OS getting more response from the people. So, keeping this in view Intel chosen Android as a primary OS for their devices. For 7-inch Education Tablet it added 4.1 Jelly Bean Android Operating System and for 10" Tablets it takes Android Ice Cream Sandwich 4.0 OS for more reliability.

Coming to its battery section, it included powerful battery for both devices are as follows. 4200mAh battery has been used for 7" tab and 6600mAh battery for 10-inch tablet. Talk time and standby battery backup up to 8 hours and 28 hours standby. For 10-inch you can calculate by yourself which gives you up to 6.5 hours and 36 hours standby.

As far as the price concerned for the Educations Tablets no announcement has been made by Intel officially till yet. Today I found shocked of not being found the best features functions of Blogger Search Description box in Post Settings. I found no reason or source of the removals of this option from the Blogger Description. It is really a sad moment for bloggers for restricting with only post body description on the search engine.

Apart from that all Post Settings remain same like Labels, Schedule, Links, Location, Options. Well is this a great move by Google of removing the key search description box from Blogger Dashboard. Who never knows, what Google can do for his bloggers, till then enjoy hide and seek game.

Hope I get back to Blogger Search Description to make my articles more beautiful in search engines.

Update on July 26, 2013: Finally I found the Search Description box on my Post Settings. Due to untick meta tag description from Dashboard Settings>Search Preference>Meta Tags Description>No>Edit and tick Yes to enable Search Description option under Post Settings. For such reason I was unable to use Search Description. Now I'm enjoying this features.

Tata Docomo Update its Roaming Scheme for Prepaid Users

Tata Docomo India's fastest growing telecom network have recently updated its Roaming Plan for Prepaid subscribers. With the new roaming scheme users both CDMA and GSM can enjoy the free incoming call while roaming in the country. Other outgoing calls have been updated for benefits users.

After making Vodafone and Idea Cellular and BSNL changes in their roaming plans. Following them, Tata Docomo announces its two National Roaming Plan (RTP) and free Incoming Call Plan (RTP-FR) schemes for GSM and CDMA prepaid users of Rs.152 and Rs.252 respectively across India.

With the recharge of Rs.152 (RTP) voucher, Docomo subscribers would enable to make all Local calls @ 78 paise per minute on Home Network and STD call @ 90ps/min on Home and Roaming network. Well on this plan you would be charged 75 paise per minute for incoming calls on roaming networks. Local SMS 1rupee per SMS and STD SMS 1.5 rupee. And its validity of the RTP is 2 months from the date of activation.

However, Docomo also provides other schemes where users can receive incoming calls free while in roaming networks. With the recharge of Rs.252 (RTP-FR) enjoy unlimited roaming incoming calls free. On this particular plan, you would be charged 78ps/min for outgoing local calls and 90paisa per minute for STD calls. SMS charges same as of RTP Rs.1 for local SMS and Rs.1.5 for STD/national SMS. It comes with 60 days of validity from the date of activation.
