Google want to become frank by publishing a transparency report

Google have published the transparency report publicly. Google says, Transparency is their prime values in their business. Report what Google have publish is stats of User Data request. User data request is the request which Government of countries and other companies or an individual does to Google for banishing things from the Google. This can be like domains, pages, blogs, sites and etc. Many interesting facts has also revealed in the transparency report. It’s say something like as follow:

- Microsoft has request most about copyright removal.

- Brazil has recorded maximum number of request and reason is Orkut, a social networking owned by Google.

- Now, China’s number of request is zero as they have their own implemented firewall and they use to filter out themselves.

- India has to do maximum request to block pornography content and national security contents.

- Every request of South Korea was considered and Google compiled.

Energy from Algae? NASA gonna do that

Prices of oil barrels are on fire all over the world. At the same time, NASA is going to develop a plant for generating fuel from the Algae. When crude prices are touching new height day by day, researchers are keen to find out some unconventional source of energy. This time Algae comes to the help of humans. Now a day’s land where agriculture is not possible, it is nice option to develop algae farms, which is very useful source of Biodiesel, Bio-gasoline, bio-fuel or vegetable oil.

NASA, in couple of weeks will show a latest technology of generating energy from algae which grows on the floating plastic bags. Challenges faced are:

- Lot of plastic is necessary as every year.
- Pumping of enough sewage water in to the plant.
- Need huge piece of land to make it affordable. Each acre can extract 2000 gallons of fuel.
- Weather condition should be suitable which helps algae to grow.

NASA has demonstrated the research using 9 meters long plastic bags at near San Francisco. The researcher on life-support systems, Jonathan Trent, has also developed the plant in around 1200 acres of land near San Francisco. It is possible to produce 2.4 million of oil for US when the total usage of oil in US is 800 million. Huge amount of waste water is necessary to provide necessary environment to let algae grow in optimum speed. Like sewage water has enough nutrition’s such as ammonia and phosphates which help algae to grow. Humid warm temperature will also help microbes to multiply fast which is taken care as processes in plant. This is really nice innovations carry out by researcher, which will be proved to be blessings when conventional sources like coal and crude will be out of stock. Anyway and anyhow we are not going to stop as far as technological innovations are concerned.

No!!! It’s not unnecessary like you must be thinking. This technology can be proved to be very useful for different class of people. Basically, with viewpoint of family members, in which one is suffering from Alzheimer’s. Moreover, you can analyse yourself that at the end of month, how much time you spend at what place. This is the way to optimize your time management and basically your living pattern. Challenges for this kind of application to be developed are about finding the perfect location where you visited. Using services like Google maps also, it’s not so easy to get accuracy. They may use accelerometer and compass to be more accurate. Moreover this application doesn’t drain down the battery unlike other applications working on basis of GPS. Developers of this application say it is very difficult to track the exact place in the dense city. But it is self trained application. Means if you feed once about the location and its details then later on it will be able to track for all the time. Humans!!! Unstoppable.

Technology we don’t use: Use laptop as your Bluetooth headset

People, who are continuously on the laptop, don’t need to take calls on mobile. If your phone and laptop is Bluetooth enabled, you can use laptop as a Bluetooth headset.

Follow these steps:

Start Bluetooth in both the device
Search Bluetooth places in laptop
Find you mobile device and Map the devices by required verification
Right click on the device’s icon
Go to Advanced Operation
Click on “Connect to handsfree audio gateway”

While you are using your laptop as Audio Gateway, you can talk on phone using Mic and Speaker of your laptop. This is very useful when you are on long calls or some conference calls, because you can use Computer headphone (with mic) to feel more comfortable on longer calls. It’s helpful when more than one person want to communicate from one place and one connection. Mostly, these days we have 3.5 mm audio output jack so we can directly connect speaker with mobile but limitation is when we need to give input as our voice, this idea fails. Airbus was fighting hard to be in the market after Boeing launched 747 models in the market. Boeing was dominating passenger plane market. In late 1980s, Jean Roeder, with team of engineers proposed a plan of making Ultra-High-Capacity-Airliner (UHCA). The design, Jean team was working on got approval for feasibility test from Airbus management. In June 1994 it was finally decided to go for developing a monster aircraft which will have 20% more passenger’s capacity then biggest passenger plan of that itmes that is era of Boeing 747. After long 6 years Airbus launched a program to manufacture the model name A380 with the confirm orders of 50 at cost of $8.8 billion each.

The size of this plane is like 19 storage building with height of 73 meters. So just imagine that 555 people with their language can take off in one piece of extreme engineer and this can be seen as one of the man made wonder on this land. The Singapore airline was the first to get the delivery of this flight in 15October 2007 and Emirates was the second to get in August 2008. Following to this Quantus, Lufthansa, Korean Air and so on got their first delivery in later year. In 2012, Airbus got 253 confirm orders for A380 which was an achievement in themselves. Planes always needs runway? – Pretty old school

If someone ask me what is the main difference between air plane and helicopter, my brain will suddenly come up with a line that, plane will need a pace and run-way to take off and landing where as helicopter doesn’t need the same generally. But, let's change this wrong notion of air plane because humans have such fighter planes which doesn’t need a run-way and take off with the pace. These planes can keep themselves steal in air and act like helicopter as far as takeoff and landing is concerned.

There nothing like so unimaginable fundamental behind this superb show. Simple keeping in mind that when Space shuttle can take off from the earth without any runway why can’t planes too. This may strike you with the idea that plane can be in air with help of thrust which is vertically opposite to the gravitational force. Many countries have made this piece successfully. Talking about one of most powerful country in this area, The United States, they are going to replace their out dated planes with this type of fighter planes. U.S. and Allies countries have funded for the design and manufacturing of this type of planes called F-35. Lockheed martin is a lead of this project. Seeing to the peculiarity these planes will be like great advancements for the Naval force of country where in warships, a long run away is not expected. F-35 are single seated, single engine plane. F-35 has different models with different specialty and cost factors. It is experimented and founded that F-35 will be at least three times more powerful than the existing normal fighter crafts that too at the same cost.

These types of planes have capacity to hover in the air also. It can be shifted to left and right being steal at zero pace. There are many other species of VOTL planes like Yak, Harrier, Bell-Boeing V-22 Osprey and a long list. If you would have experienced the freshness of “Windows 1995”, it was very mesmerizing feeling at the first. It was complete change of User Interface from OS giant Microsoft. Computing was like re-defined into faster and ready-to-swallow way. Now you don’t have to wait much if you dint experienced it at that time, as Microsoft has again redefined the look ‘n’ feel interface of Windows OS and this time it is known as “Windows 8”. You might have read previous article regarding Lumia, so here by Microsoft is bringing similar type of Operating system for Computers aside from Mobile, needless to say that this was the primary idea.

The innovation and new perception which companies like Apple has given to the consumers, has forced every Giants to re-think on their interfaces and way of looking to the Computing. As a result, Microsoft, who was never ever, had anything for consumer with touch screen technology, are about to launch a complete Touch-screen Operating system for the Desktop computing. Talking about the GUI, this time you will get rid of the damn mouse even though you are Microsoft user, since its touch screen era. If you look to the above image, the screen you look is your so called Desktop screen which is divided into rectangular blocks or say “Colorful tiles”. Heart of OS that is the start menu will be no more available instead; all the applications will be visible in the tab under “Apps” tab. Beauty of this interface is the dynamically working of this tiles. These tiles can be seen as a monitoring window for each active app. Like you will be continuously updated with the application say for example outlook tile will be updated with new mails and weather tile will show atmospheric updates. Concept of task manager and explorer remain same but in fact we would not be able to judge this before experiencing the real time hands on over it. Most amazing thing what I found in this launch of Microsoft is the dual-mode usage. Getting clearer, I would say, this will be use as the Laptop as well as the Tablet independently. This feature might attract many user and can this is one of the salient features which may effectively dump Apple’s increasing dominance on tablet market this time.

None of the Giants are going to set themselves back in this cut-throat competition of innovation and grabbing more market share to their bucket. As end user we will always cherish this type of race by getting amazing things for our use and easing our day to day lives.

Seeing to last couple of years, automobile industry is very aggressive for technology advancement. Companies like Mercedes, General Motors, Volvo, and quite many has equipped their cars to give more safe drive for their consumers. Now car to car communication is taking the pace in the mind of researchers.

Department of transportation seems very lucrative for promoting this research especially car to car communication. They have provided 14.9 million dollars to University of Michigan. Many Expensive cars come with the sensors and cameras. This car is able to sense the cars which may intercept the road and accordingly slow down. This keep checks on the degree of view which user cannot see even. So in case if car is losing its lane discipline or going towards pavement car will slow down and give necessary warning. When this technology will reach to basic or medium expensive cars then it is assumed that 75% to 80% crash will be reduces because of it. For information if we see data of US where we the traffic management is pretty good, the toll of accidental deaths on road reached to above 36000 in year 2011. Many automakers are joining hands with the University for this Research. Almost 65 cars will be equipped with the sensors and radio. This will connect to the concerned object and establish a connection to exchange the necessary data. These machines can communicate between themselves and act smartly which we can call artificial Intelligence.

As we have gone through in previous articles before, Google has been trying to apply cent percent artificial intelligence and making a self driven car. This project is going to take time but the above technology we discuss will be soon in almost every normal car too. Humans are making now planes without pilots so conclusion is only one. We are never ever stoppable as far as technology enhancements are concerned.

Any launch of Apple is always so awaited but the tech savvy people. That is none another than a next generation tablet that is the ‘Baap’ of iPad2, “The iPad3”. There are many speculations in the market regarding the design and features embedded in the iPad3. As this product is in the final stages of manufacturing it is expected that it will be soon in the hands of people.

Seeing to the speculated image if iPad3, it seems like Apple will again flatter its fans by the bigger screen for better look and feel experience. It looks like approximately 9.7 inches of panel and hopefully user will have 2048 by 1536 retina display (Retina display can be seen like Apple had visuals smoother. Want to know more?). Oh!!! What the crap. I don’t want the jungle of wire lying down on my table. So humans who are never stoppable in innovation have solution for me. Now I won’t need damn wires to pass the electricity to my appliances. Some companies are trying to make products which will able to charge the appliances with help of air rather than wires.

WiTricity, is ready to launch a black pad which will charge electronic appliances. This was researched by MIT and company will be able to implement it in real time appliances charging. This is called as simple “Inductive Wireless Charging”. These are basically black pads type which does all the things. Reading this it obvious that you will have a question that how it work on high level view. Let see the same. The black pad is nothing but it contains a coil which generates magnetic field. This charged up magnetic field when comes in the contact of any other electronic enabled device, charge the coil on the other side.

Needless to say that as much as there will be more distance, the frequency of energy reaches to the appliance will be decreased and it would be preferable to keep the devices as near as you can to be more efficient. Simply, bigger the coil more range it have. In coming year or a two it is also expected that we will have same time of charging points to charge the cars. They came up with amazing concept of search engine with at most efficiency which helped world to grow in each and every field with greater speed. Kenya, country where humans needs to fight keeping away themselves from rapidly spreading diseases like Malaria, tuberculosis, HIV and many more, are back with optimal use of technology to get rapid improvement in the Human Development Index. Shimba technologies the developers of application will be start fetching the revenue by either premium services or from the doctors up to some extent. Doctors can be charged $ 10 for getting user base of this application.

At the end this is win-win-win situation for Kenyans, Doctors and Telecom as well as developer companies. Kenya being an African country, is struggling to improve health indices and innovations like this will surely help government also for betterment of people.

Facebook Phone: Now it’s easier for Facebook freaks

It was announced in end of November 2011, that facebook is going to launch a phone. They are in to collaboration with HTC to design and manufacture this phone. It is assumed that this phone will be on Android platform and have extensive support for HTML5. Still facebook have shared very limited details about the project and refused to comment on the news which gets aired as rumours. It is also assumed that phone will be launched in the market not before year and a half.

Having the advantage of reaching around 800 million users, and also getting itself installed on almost every smartphone, facebook has a greater edge over other companies in launching its own phone. Phone from facebook will be very user friendly for tons of facebook freaks. But seeing on the other side of scenario, facebook will have equal challenges to make this product successful. facebook is just an application installed in the smartphones and other than that smartphones have lot of duties to do for its user like mailing, sharing media and other functionalities. facebook phone should also be very user friendly from all this aspects which are basic for any normal smart-phones at least. Otherwise there will be very less number of user who is actually willing to compromise on this functionality for getting betterment on facebook integration and functionalities.

Experts say that facebook has challenges to convince user to switch from their smartphones to facebook phone. Phone by facebook may not be so appealing for users if it is just based on Android. Facebook should come up with either its own operating system or else can get everything done by HTML5. This may save their efforts and money by using existing technologies rather than going for their own operating system. But still, I personally have high expectation from the cellular device we can name as smartphone by facebook.

Apple TV was launched at the end of year 2006 and second generation was launched in end of 2010. Seeing to the name of Apple TV it seems why Apple has jumped into selling Televisions. But it not the television which Apple is selling but it is just a set top box. Again don’t do mistake by seeing this set top box as a satellite STB. This doesn’t capture the satellite signals and acts as other STBs. Then what Apple TV is?

This is what you will say if you meet Siri. Yeah, she is smart-intelligent Siri, which you are thinking about after listening name. You get her free with your iPhone 4S. Siri was born in 2007. Apple is not the creator of Siri but Apple has adopted her from SRI International’s venture group. Seeing to the revenue earned in year 2008 and 2009 which have crossed millions, Apple found good prospect to integrate with iPhone and today Siri is a big player behind successful marketing and selling of iPhone. For information, 4 million iPhones were sold out in the week’s period of its launch. Being Siri was mastered by Apple, it was then not reachable to Androids and other OS. But that was the idea of a creator when Siri born, to make it available for all the platforms.

This question can be described in very long list. Siri is like your virtual personal secretary. First is “App password”. This will be an additional layer in the facebook password security. This can stop hackers who have stolen the passwords but if someone opt for this facility this would be an additional overhead always.

Second is “Trusted Friends”. In case of recovering the password, if user is not able retrieve the password via Email then facebook will keep some preselected group of people from the friend list who can pass on the codes to you.

This is security statistics populated by the facebook. Facebook report says that 4% of shared links are spam. Adding to this they say that only one in two hundred user face the spam in a day. As you know always technology is very invasive in itself. It is Unstoppable always. As far as War Weapons are concerned, researches and inventions have been imaginable. Pieter thinks that the robotics is the very prime area of innovations seeing to the scientific world after 15 to 20 years.

Robot learns seeing human to performs the task. Other robots needs to programmed to perform some task which limits the robustness of the robots. Where as this robot is very robust in itself. I can make a laundry for his master or it can fly model plane by itself.
