Christmas is near!

Christmas is nearly coming!. Yes it's December already, start with a countdown. Houses are blinking with christmas lights and decorated with christmas trees and gifts. A time to buy gifts for our inaanak. This season is much appreciated by children who are always excited to wear their new clothes and new shoes and go to their ninong and ninang to get their gifts. It also the time to have a reunion with families parted with far places, friends in different regions, and even former classmates. Carolings can hear everywhere. Bibingka and Puto Bumbong are famous food during this season. What else could be more meaningful than celebrating Jesus' birthday with the family during Noche Buena...

Blighted Ovum

Months ago, I was so surprised in finding out I was pregnant. Though it was not planned (again), but we really like to have an addition to the family. Most of my friends knew I really wanted to have a big one.

Last, Last Friday was my scheduled pre-natal check up. I had a transvi ultrasound again and found out that I had a blighted ovum. My baby did not grow nor formed. But the gestational sac grew. We were so sad but we had to accept the fact that I missed a pregnancy again. I knew it from the start. My body and instinct already told me that there’s something wrong with what’s happening inside my body but I hoped and believed it was ok especially when my bleeding stopped after two weeks. After finding my condition, My OB told me to stop my vitamins and medicines. I bleed a little and I still wait to open up my cervix and proceed to D&C procedure . My OB preferred me to stay and wait it at home.

After a week, My bleeding and cramps increased. I went to my doctor and had the D&C at the same day.

I was so sad. We were so sad. But we had to accept it. I prayed! And everything went fine!

FYI:

- A blighted ovum, also called an "anembryonic pregnancy", is a fertilized egg which implants in the uterus, and begins to devlop a gestational sac. The fertilized egg, however, fails to form beyond the sixth week and is absorbed back into the uterus.
- D&C, also known as dilation and curettage, is a surgical procedure often performed after a first trimester miscarriage. Dilation means to open up the cervix; curettage means to remove the contents of the uterus. Curettage may be performed by scraping the uterine wall with a curette instrument or by a suction curettage (also called vacuum aspiration), using a vacuum-type instrument.

Hi! I've been absent for weeks in blogging and in joining Girl's Talk... This time, I'm back with my class pictures during my high school and college moment.

It's almost 2 weeks since I went to my OB for my 1st check up. I still bleed a little until now. My OB told me to that my pregnancy now is at risk. I had my ultrasound last week and yesterday and seen only the gestational sac, it's growing but can't see the baby yet because it's too early to tell. I've been given medicines and vitamins, I rest a lot, put away worries and pray hard. I ~~hope~~ know these would work.

4 Weeks Pregnant

The ultra sound says it's 4weeks and 3days... but base on my last mens period, it's almost 6weeks...

I've been absent in blogging for a week. First, I've been busy with my kids in preparing their things for school. Since I don't have a helper, I have done it all. (with the help of hubby, of course)
Second, busy with the shop. I've got many customers now unlike last school years. Many students have known that I make personalized sticker tag for notebooks and books.
And the highlight! I'm pregnant!!! From the first fews days of mens delay, I already thought I was pregnant. Unlike my previous pregnancies, I was having a little bleeding lately. That's why me and hubby went to the doctor after I confirmed it through PT. I was a little worry because of the bleeding and kept thinking and wishing that It wasn't an ectopic pregnancy. I have read that once had an ectopic pregnancy has a greater chance to have it again. I had an transvi ultasound. It was a relief when my doctor told us that it wasn't an ectopic. . But she said that I need to take a rest for 2 weeks because I was having a bleeding. She gave me vitamins and a medicine to stop the bleeding and to prevent miscarriage. My baby is now on going to 6th week.

It was really a major change in our life. All we previously planned were already changed with much more better moves. And for the coming addition to our family, is such a wonderful blessing!

Pink Friday: Pink Bag & Shoes

Hi! Last friday I featured Jopay's uniform and this time, it's her bag and PE shoes plus her pink student handbook.

Her handbook now is pink while last year was white.

Her old PE shoes but still look as new who was given by her Ninang Verna after coming home from Dubai.

She has chosen a back pack now because her classroom will be on the 2nd floor.

Goodbye to her old trolley bag.

Food that takes back to my childhood...hmmm...I do have lots of foods to remember during my childhood days.. but what's the most is an ice cream made by my father. Cheese, coconut or avocado were the flavors he often made. I think it is also called "dirty ice cream." I really don't know why it is called by that. Basta, my tatay's ice cream was prepared clean..:D Anyway, I remember every during my elementary recognition day, he made ice cream as my thankful treat to my classmates and teachers for being on the top list.

I spend my time in facebook while I'm still awake. From the start I wake up, till I close my eyes!:D I check updates from time to time while busy doing household chores. For me, it's a sin to go out somewhere without important things to do. Only if I could bring along my laptop when out. It's just quite heavy and huge. Besides, it's battery is not charging anymore. I am thinking of buying a Netbook which I can bring along any time when out and doing my work at the same time. .

Latest netbook now has its thin and light features that makes it portable and easy to carry. You can just put it in you bag or hand carry it. Many netbook bags are now available in the market. What is good about the netbook is that it has also long battery life. You'll not be in a hurry go home, you can use it while travelling or when eating in your favorite restaurant. Aside from that, you can read and receive important e-mails anytime and won't miss updates from your favorite social networking sites like the ever popular Facebook. Most of netbooks has built-in wifi and more establishments are generous to share their connection. Or better yet, buy a USB prepaid internet to be sure you have a connection on the go.

It is wondrous how technology evolves. It makes works easier to handle. It makes people easier to move in around a busy world. All we need to do is to look for its better features that will suit our needs.
