Hello,

I made a video on how to butterfly a pork loin. This form of butterflying I believe can be used for most large piece of meat.

Just be careful when you are butterflying Good luck if you need more instruction feel free to ask. I decided there is a better way to actually show you how to butterfly this pork loin so you can get a better idea. So when I can get my director back in the kitchen and I need another large piece of meat I will do a retake.
This is not my typical how to post but its full of information:

I am sure everyone has heard the name "Weber" before. I personally have a Weber grill in my back yard covered up for the winter months. Weber I have recently found out makes many accessories. One being the "griddle for Weber g grill at Lowes". I do not have this particular accessory but, am curious who does? Would you actually use it to cook pancakes on the grill or maybe saute some peppers and onions to go with your burgers. I have never tried but I guess with something like this the possibilities are endless. I know many people who says that they cook many different food items on the grill. I personally am a hamburger and hotdog girl. What about you?

Has anyone every heard the name "Reed and Barton" before reading this post? I sure haven't until I was told about the "Reed and Barton Baroque Spanish Child Spoon" All I can say is "Wow!!" Talk about growing up with a silver spoon in your mouth. The patterns were absolutely beautiful. So beautiful I do not think I would ever let one of my children eat off of it, but keep it for their keepsake boxes. Okay the only reason I would not let them eat off of them is not because they are so beautiful mind you. I would never purchase one, they are rather pricey!! Definitely not in my budget these days. Mind you I would not ever turn one down if it was given to me. I would think that they were crazy for spending more on one 3 piece spoon and fork set than I spent on my whole flatware set serving 18 people. Maybe I'm just cheap but take a look and pick out something nice for yourself, but do not send me the bill.

I have decided that I would throw myself a big birthday bash when I turn the BIG "4" "0"!! I mean I am going all out. I thought about renting table linens for my tables, but since visiting this site that has "Holiday Tablecloths 144 inches long" I am really considering buying a few tablecloths and keeping them for other uses. I personally like to use table linen when I have holiday gatherings or nice parties so these would come in handy. Some of the prices are a bit high but I can find something in my price range. The color selection looks great to find something fun and reusable. Well since I just turned "38" yesterday I have 2 more years for my bash. I will post pictures from when it happens so you can see what I did choose.

Let me know if anything I talked about is interesting to anyone else.
Hello,

Do you ever go to the store and want to buy fresh pineapple, but always go for the canned pineapple? For most people it is not the cost, but the fact that they can't figure out how to get the hard skin away from the golden flesh? This video shows how to cut a pineapple safely with out all the worry. I do have a suggestion that I don't believe I have mentioned anywhere so far. When you cut any vegetable or fruit on a cutting board it is best to use a wet dish towel or wet paper towels under your cutting board to prevent slippage. The towel does not have to be soaking just damp enough to keep the board from moving.

STEPS:
1. Cut off the top and bottom
2. Cut down the body of the pineapple trying to keep its shape
3. Remove any eyes left behind
4. Cut down the middle of the pineapple (2 pieces)
5. Cut down the middle of the halves (4 pieces)
6. Remove the core (hard center)
7. Lay pineapple piece flat and cut into chunks
I am still trying to decide exactly how I would like to use this page and give everyone my "How to" knowledge. I started a YouTube Channel "The way my mom makes it" so when you are browsing feel free to take a look at it. More videos to come soon.
My views on dicing an onion is that it is best to be safe rather than sorry. I notice that a lot of professional cooks slice an onion differently, but I am fearful that I may lose a finger for the perfect square onion. I don't think it's worth it. How about you? I hope my videos and information is helpful. If there is something you would like to know how to do easier feel free to ask and I will do my best to help out. Happy chopping......
