New Day SOS

I read Whistleblower One's testimony yesterday and started on Whistle Blower Two's an hour ago. I cannot believe this has been allowed to go this far. There has to be something wrong with the water in the D.C. Swamp.

I had a dream this morning that I died. It was very cool for about as long as it takes to catch my breath. It woke me up to a level just below conscious but frightened just the same. Now that I'm awake - I think and hope - the fear has washed off.

In my wildest, colorful dreams, inspiration shows the network like a web of ganglions, each with their infinite extensions. This world is a paradox. That's why I love it. It is beautiful and it makes perfect sense for me to be here, at the Four - Corners witnessing the SOS through the worldwide web.

What used to be the greatest experiment on Earth has turned our form of government into a hiss and a by-word. There's these guys in The Book of Mormon called the Gadiantons - they were robbers. They lied, cheated on their taxes, imprisoned their enemies for nothing and murdered at will. They were the people my mother warned me about.

Many of our three-letter institutions have adopted the Gadianton's proclivities for evil. And yes, they are evil. What else would you call killing a life inside or outside of the womb.

The modern-day Gadiantons are as shrewd as their original standard bearer - Satan. They suppose that because they're big, bad and tough, nobody will mess with them out of fear. That's how and why they are able to classify themselves as wolves in sheep's wool. Let's call them goats and let it stand as such.

The goats have their cabals in and out of government. They run the apparatus we know as the Media. They control print and electronic information along with the airwaves. Most of the sheep still think the goats are on their side. That is the insidiousness of this whole mess.

Paul describes the apostasy and perilous times of the last days -

His epistle in 2nd Timothy Chapter 3 reads:

1 This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come.

2 For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy,

3 Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good,

4 Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God;

5 Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away.

6 For of this sort are they which creep into houses, and lead captive silly women laden with sins, led away with divers lusts,

7 Ever learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth.

He continues with this:

13 But evil men and seducers shall wax worse and worse, deceiving, and being deceived.

Immaterial Matter

That's how much the earth weighs. So here's a question. Has it always weighed 13,170,000,000,000,000,000,000,000 pounds and will it still weigh 13,170,000,000,000,000,000,000,000 pounds when we are all dead and gone?

Mass is a measure of the amount of matter in something. People use weight and mass interchangeably in casual conversation, but they aren't actually the same thing. Earth doesn't really have "weight" because it's not being held down to a particular planet or surface. It does have "mass" because it has a certain amount of matter.

As far as the mass of Earth, it's generally just reorganizing. Matter can't be created or destroyed, so the only way that the mass of earth changes is if something enters earth that wasn't there before (like a meteor), or if something leaves earth (like the flag we left on the moon, or the robots we send to Mars).

According to some calculations, the Earth is losing 50,000 metric tons of mass every single year, even though an extra 40,000 metric tons of space dust converge onto the Earth’s gravity well, it’s still losing weight.

Chris Smith, a microbiologist, and Dave Ansel, a Cambridge University physicist provided the answer in BBC Radio 4’s More or Less program. The 40,000 metric ton of mass that accumulates comes from space dust, remnants of the formation of the solar system.

"Earth's mass is variable, subject to both gain and loss due to the accretion of in-falling material, including micrometeorites and cosmic dust and the loss of hydrogen and helium gas, respectively. The combined effect is a net loss of material, estimated at 5.5×10⁷ kg (5.4×10⁴ ) per year. This amount is 10⁻¹⁷ of the total earth mass. The 5.5×10⁷ kg annual net loss is essentially due to 100,000 tons lost due to atmospheric escape, and an average of 45,000 tons gained from in-falling dust and meteorites. This is well within the mass uncertainty of 0.01% (6×10²⁰ kg), so the estimated value of Earth's mass is unaffected by this factor."

Since matter cannot be created or destroyed it would appear that every atomic particle of every atom, of every molecule, of every substance of everything living, dead or inanimate is still here and can be accounted for.

I was born here with nothing more than a few kicks and screams and will most likely go out the same way. Or, more likely in my case: I came into this world with nothing and still have most of it.

Douglass Mackey is facing ten years in prison for making fun of Hillary Clinton. He's the one who posted the tweet about voting for Hillary on your phone by texting a number. It was funny. Or, I thought it was.

Last night the grand jury of Alvin Braggs indicted President Trump for process crimes. The indictment is sealed but already NYT is leaking how many counts and so forth. Most of the world is going bonkers.

We took the little black kitty Lula named Jemima to Wally World in East Farmington. The little gray one is still at her place. I'll get him next week and break him in with the mutts. We weren't there more than 45 minutes before some girls smoking pot stopped to check her out. I told them if they picked her up they would have to keep her.

We went to Cortez yesterday for Chinese and groceries. It was our 50th Anniversary. We had fun if it means not much bothers us anymore at our age. I missed the red slug bug but dodged the slug so far. We got Dairy Queen this afternoon and still have a chocolate cake to fit in somehow this weekend.

I've taken my meds; even took a couple extra strength Tylenol awhile ago. I've had a gnawing headache for a month. It has given me some sleepless/sleep - shortened nights and early mornings. I do not need that. But the days are lengthening out and the sun is setting to the north of Three Monkeys now.

We are entering the week before the final days of our Savior's life almost 2000 years ago. Some people think the end is near. Most of us think it's close but we might might still have a little time to prepare. I think time for preparation is almost over. If you haven't got it yet, you might want to buy some life insurance quickly. I'll pay mine on Monday.

The Farmington New Mexico Temple is coming along very nicely. Next time over I'll bring the camera to get some better shots.

They're building a Welcome Center and a new Stake Center, too.

So General Conference begins tomorrow morning. We are ready so long as the electricity holds out. Lula paid the bill on the way into town to dump the kitty. I must be doing more here before He returns.

We have work to do with renewing the lease on the church building here in Teec. Lula and I got played like a cheap version of the Keystone Cops Sunday before last. But now we know what needs to be done to get the lease renewed. It's similar to a homesite lease except there is a previous lease we can work from. I have questions about a petition that need answers. So that's my plan for the coming week. I've been in contact with Salt Lake and they have been very helpful.

So, I was on The Conservative Treehouse earlier today and found a piece about fasting and prayer. The lesson was one that we had two weeks ago from Come Follow Me in the New Testament. It was taking on the Savior's yoke so that our loads might be lightened.

I felt prompted to make a journal entry and really had to force myself to make a decision. There are many more things I want to do that are useless than there are things I need to do that aren't. That's how the decision to write again came upon me. I have much more to do in my life and need not delay anymore. Here is the lesson for me today.

Mark 9:14-29

And when he came to his disciples, he saw a great multitude about them, and the scribes questioning with them.

Microsoft, Tracfone and Straight Talk

Before last Wednesday, August 10, 2022, my only real problems seemed to be of my own creation. Last week's lessons were made for me. Job ain't got nothing on me now.

Two weeks ago I wrenched my lower back for the umpteenth time. Getting it healed isn't difficult; just time consuming.

My little calico kitty had a rough go with birthing her first born. She was in labor for almost 36 hours before delivering a still born and the next day (July 31, the same day my father passed away and right in between Thomas' and Michelle's birthdays) she died.

Bad back and all, I buried her out beyond the Trio where Lula has her trail worn into the hard dirt. We were just looking at the site and the ants, stink bugs and other critters are working hard to infiltrate the grounds.

All at the same time my gardens are overrun with the same malfeasance. We planted in the first week in May and the only thing still giving the slightest hint of producing vegetables in the lower garden are a few cucumbers. But I've spent over $200 and 16 loads of water to grow five mounds of cucumbers. I planted peas and beans three times and the malfeasance overtook all plantings.

The upper garden looked really good two months ago. Bugs ate the potatoes and cantaloupe. We had watermelon, squash and zucchinis looking good, too. Now, there's one summer squash out of four hills; three little zucchinis out of four hills; no watermelons from two plantings (they were looking really good last week before the ants ate them).

The corn isn't looking too bad and I did kill one of the large branches off the cherry tomato but I got it planted and it looks really good. The other tomato plant in the cage by the Hogan is growing but it drinks five gallons of water every three days. The other tomato plants succumbed to malfeasance, too.

Onions are okay and there are still beets and carrots growing, albeit slowly.

But this is not why I'm here complaining like Job.

When I tried to text President Riggs a week ago Sunday to tell him I couldn't get out of bed because of my back, my phone quit working. So I waited until I could get the phone back on while trying to text Michelle for her birthday on the 1st of August. It still didn't work.

So last Wednesday I tried to update my Straight Talk account online. It said my network wasn't working and I needed to update the account. I got another card, brought it home and tried to add minutes but they wanted me to activate my phone first. When I tried the card, it said they couldn't do it because it's a TracFone. I'm like, duh. I've added minutes on a $45 plan every month for three years with a Straight Talk card over the phone.

So I called TracFone and asked them to activate the phone (970 275-1460) over the phone. I gave them $45 more and they said it would show on the phone as soon as I rebooted it. It didn't.

I spent all of Friday attempting closure but only succeeded in pissing off 7 or 8 Indians in Mumbai.

When I try to call them now, they hang up on me.

Next plan that worked seems so simple - bought a new phone. The Samsung A03e was on sale for $49.95 and it's a nice enough phone for me. The sales clerk at Wally World in Cortez was very helpful. I started to buy the A03e but wanted to make sure I could use it as a TracFone with my TracFone account. See where this is heading?

It doesn't work like that, so I bought the Samsung A03e for Tracfone with a Straight Talk wireless account! Confused yet?

In the beginning, all I wanted to do was reactivate my old phone. When that didn't work I tried to keep my number and add another phone to that number. Right! So now I have a new number on a new phone and neither TracFone or Straight Talk have the foggiest idea what they're doing. For now I have $45 missing off my debit card for a TracFone that doesn't work and a $45 Straight Talk card that Straight Talk won't add to my Straight Talk account on my TracFone.

But my friends are not against me, yet.

When I went into church yesterday for Fast and Testimony Meeting, President Riggs chastised his counselors, (Wesley and me) by way of admonishment. After our meetings we straightened it out. It is embarrassing but I'll survive. This last week's lesson was Job and his heartaches.

I once lost my faith but never came close to cursing God. It's been twenty years since I came to that place where Job did. All I wanted to do was make it all go away. Many of my friends along the path have told me the only reason I couldn't make it go away was because He wouldn't let me.

Another big wind and dirt storm blew threw here this afternoon while I was trying to fix the gardens as best I could. The gardens, like every other thing in my life right now is day to day. I do not know any of the answers as to why God allows good things to happen to the worst of us and bad things to happen to the best of us. I suppose most would say it's a crap shoot. I believe there's a reason for everything and I'm just here for the ride. Have to take the good with the bad; the sweet with the sour; fire and rain; heaven and hell.

So this morning I made the attempt to put all my ducks in order. Tracfone and Straight Talk are still not talking to me. But my phone works fine and I have more than enough sport left in me for another battleground on which to die.

About noon today, after the ping pong phone games, I logged onto this old computer my mother (bless her and dad eternally) left for me. I keep a journal on this PC because it's much easier to type on the keyboard than the laptop, tablet or either phone. Makes sense to me. The file, The Day the World Missed, is nearly 100 pages now. My Office 365 subscription is on all my devices. But somehow, Microsoft hasn't ever heard of Job.

Do you have any idea how hard it is to get Microsoft to fix anything. I think they're almost as inept as the Federal Government. Or it's a toss-up.

I've had to play pin the tail on the dumb asses all day. The only way I can edit my journal is to log onto Microsoft Office 365 (for which I pay $9.99 a month). Well, when I finally figured out how to get it (the file mentioned above) onto One Drive, it has all the functions I want for editing except the one I use on every journal entry at first - The date and time! How freaking difficult can it be to make my file available off line?

It's growing late, and there's still more work needing done online. I have Steve Bannon cued up on Gettr right now. His message Friday at CPAC in Texas is awesome and very timely, too. The Senate passed the "Tax us all more than we can afford and spend it faster than Speedy Gonzalez bill" yesterday while the FBI was preparing to raid President Trump's home in Mar- a - Lago, Florida today.

People, we need to get the tines on our pitchforks sharpened; the empty bottles for the Molotov Cocktails prepared while the price of gas is still below $5 a gallon and invest in millstones for the perverts in D.C. who are trying to take our government away from us.

If we can survive the fascists in power today we can get through to mid-term elections well off enough to correct some of the biggest problems. Fixing 2020 needs to come first!

Washington D.C. is out of control. Our cities are overrun with crime while all the largest metropolitan cities, run by mostly Democrats, have lost control because the cops are too afraid to do their jobs, courts are too lenient and the citizenry hasn't a clue. Firefighters in Seattle are being stoned while trying to do their jobs. Congress and the interloper have left the border with Mexico wide open and we are in a crisis unparalleled in our history as a nation.

The phony pedophile in the White House wants to change the Supreme Court of the United States into a by-word. And mostly because we have to create a green enough world so snowflakes and rainbows can enjoy living in Lalaland.

And how do we think selling our liberty to a foreign power along with our oil reserves will help US in any way, shape or form? Look what your government has done to the finest military ever known to defend freedom for ourselves and our friends around the globe.

Drug cartels control the southern border while bureaucrats laugh at us because we can't or won't do a thing about it!

I'd have to say the climate looks cooked today. Meanwhile, I'm dumping my waste oil into ant hills here on the Rez. Don't worry. The water table is buried thousands of feet under 30 million years of rocks; some the size of VW Bugs; some a little smaller.

THE END OF CONSTITUTIONAL LAW

Why does humankind desire freedom and liberty? In opposition to God’s Economy, much of mankind still labors under the imposed rules and laws of an unequal economy without knowing why. We are either free to choose or not. In America our choices diminish by the minute today. What was originally a foundation based upon principles for hope of a better future, is now a disdain for all principles originating from God. Our Creator is now placed at the back of the rooms and halls of education and told to shut up because of that contempt. Thus, freedom is taken away and replaced with fear that something more valuable can and will be taken away in the future. That future has been here for longer than most know.

“And if it seem evil unto you to serve the Lord, choose you this day whom ye will serve; whether the gods which your fathers served that were on the other side of the flood, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land ye dwell: but as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord.” Joshua 24:15

The modern Amorites have infected our government. They preach the doctrines of men rather than the doctrines of salvation. And it should seem a simple task for men and women in government to choose whether to serve We the People before choosing for themselves or serving the gods of their fathers on the other side of our Declaration of Independence. Denying the existence of a Creator will not make Him go away. For this sole purpose was mankind given breath and freedom to choose good or evil.

“And Elijah came unto all the people, and said, How long halt ye between to opinions? If the Lord be God, follow him: but if Baal, then follow. And the people answered him not a word.” 1 Kings 18:21

Government cannot answer that question nor can it circumvent, through legislative powers, one of the most important articles of our liberation from oppression of the state.

Ways You Can Capitalize on Your Freedom of Speech

The good news is that the First Amendment still exists. It’s part of the Constitution and you have every right to protection that it offers. But here’s the bad news: If we don’t start standing up for our rights and using these freedoms, they’ll start to fade. And while it might take 10, 20, or even 100 years, the government will take these freedoms from us. Now is the time to stand up. Here are several ways you can do it:

Ø Publish your own content. While platforms like Facebook might silence conservative content and talking points, there are plenty of other ways to let your voice be heard online. For example, you can always start your own blog. In fact, The Blog Starter will show you how to do it in just 20 minutes. And once you’re up and running, you can begin publishing content and ideas for meaningful dialogue.

Ø Engage thoughtful discourse. When you do spend time on traditional social media platforms, make it a point to only engage in thoughtful discourse. In other words, stay away from the toxic, argumentative traps that other people lay. Instead, join groups and make friends with those who are willing to look at both sides of an issue. The more these types of conversations are pushed to the top, the more media platforms have to give room for objective discussion.

Ø Support First Amendment groups. Finally, put your money where your mouth is. Find free speech groups that you believe in and support them with your time and dollars. Oftentimes, this is the best use of your resources. They have the ability to pool money from thousands of different places, which gives them the power to spark change.

THE TANK WAGON

When I went to work for Chuck Alarcon in 1977 he had a 1966 Ford F-600 Tank-wagon that held 1500 gallons of anything wet you wanted to put in it. We sold and serviced quite a few accounts within the Denver – Boulder area and some beyond. Bobby worked in the two-bay service station and there was another building; detached and large enough for more than four cars at a time. While Chuck got me started on the tank wagon Bobby kept up maintenance on the trucks and cars Chuck owned as well as a long list of clients that kept us all busy. There were five underground fuel tanks behind the big shop with a loading dock for the tank wagon. In the alley, behind the larger shop was a storage room for oil in cases, drums and barrels.

I was driving up the hill on State Highway 7 toward a farm just north of the highway and west of I-25. When I went to slow down to make the turn across the road the brake pedal went all the way to the floor. I live for this stuff! Fortunately there was a hand brake on the tail of the transmission so it wasn’t that difficult, with the help of the gears, to slow it down and stop.

I used the farmers phone to call Chuck. I told him what happened and said I’d unload the fuel and come back empty. It was only 300 gallons of regular gasoline so no problem. Although, when I was driving back there was a road crew 2 miles east of Lafayette working on some pot holes. I was going downhill about 60 miles an hour when I saw the flag-dummy (that’s what I call them – it’s a simple job and any dummy can do it) turn his sign around with the STOP part showing. I started hitting gears and slowed it down enough into low 3^rd gear and pulled the hand brake, slowly filling the cab full of smokey asbestos. I stopped about 10 feet away from the flag dummy and stuck out my head. I yelled out the open window, “Not bad for no brakes, huh?” I’m sure he had no idea what I meant.

Bobby was waiting for me in the big garage. He pulled off the rear left drum and found the wheel cylinders were extended as far as they could and the brake drums were too worn to be used again. But we figured out a way to get them to work. I was back on the road in less than two days and all seemed well from my viewpoint.

A couple of weeks later I loaded the tank wagon with 1500 gallons of regular unleaded then pulled around in front of the shop to load a barrel of oil or antifreeze. I don’t remember. I was headed for Joe Burns’ service station on east 6^th Avenue in Denver. But I do remember starting the truck and getting ready to pull across the street to head toward Broomfield. It’s a good thing I had to stop because If I’d taken the other route I would have already been on a doomed mission. I pulled around back, unloaded the fuel and took a week’s vacation.

Chuck sent the Ford down to a shop on York Street. We picked out a new Chevy C-60, 2 ½ ton with a 366 big block Chevy and five speed Clark transmission with a 2-speed rearend. The truck was an ugly green but when they finished stretching the frame and put the tank, pumps, meters and all on it, they painted it with Imron® red and we were back in business.

So now for the rest of the story. When we got the truck it had new highway tires on it. It drove very nicely down the highway and wasn’t too bad off-road either. But it was lousy on ice like most big trucks are whether loaded or not. I loved to drive through the side streets of Boulder. Even though there are laws about that, we might have been blessed with work-arounds for laws, regulations, etc. And Flagstaff Road above Boulder is a beautiful drive any time of the year when the roads are dry. But one day between Thanksgiving and Christmas, I had to go up to Walker Ranch with 500 gallons of unleaded and 300 gallons of regular gasoline. The also had a 250-gallon tank for diesel but it wasn’t in need of servicing.

It had been snowing most of the morning and it was rather chilly that morning. I was surprised that there were people at the park looking over town from their perch atop Flagstaff. It really is beautiful. The trip uphill was slow but I never need be in a hurry in a tank wagon. I got all the fuel pumped into the tanks, made out the invoice, dropped it in the box and began back downhill. Just after going past what is now Kossler Lake, the first of the hairpins appears. I wasn’t going more than 20 mph but I could feel the rear tires losing their grip and the second I touched the brake pedal I could feel the wheels lock up and the truck started skidding rearend toward the right; front end toward the left. My first thought was to open the door, which I did. I figured if it was going over the forest and through the streets of Boulder it would have to do so without me as a passenger. Thank goodness I didn’t panic and jump. I just tapped the brakes lightly enough to straighten out the wheels and caught some sand on the right side of the road. It actually stopped right at the curve so I set brake to see if it would hold but it didn’t.

So, into 2^nd gear, low on the rearend, I herded the 2 ½ ton tank wagon down the road at 8 mph. Probably took less time than I remember but that still wasn’t soon enough for me. Like I said, getting in a hurry in a truck like that doesn’t end well most of the times.

When I got back to the shop I told Chuck about those tires. They barely had 3,000 miles on them and were still good highway tires. So Bobby, Chuck and I peeled off all four tires on the rear and put snow tires on it and I started packing chains in one of the side compartments.

There are a hundred stories I could tell you about some of the wildest stuff you would probably believe, and I know your mother heard about plenty of them, but I still believe there’s a great plan in the scheme of all our days here. I’ve been recording this stuff in my journals since I was 15 years old. It never grows old for me. Guess you could say it’s probably why I’m still here.

Parler is Back

Parler is back. What has happened the past few months since the stolen election is beyond comprehension. We are at war with the adversary and he is very powerful. Out of all the possibilities for an election like the last Presidential/General election, I never guessed someone as lame-brained as Slow (Lunch bucket Joe) Biden stood a chance against an incumbent who received more votes ever in the history of the Republicans -- How could bite me get more than 75 million votes?

One of the strangest things about this all was that Biden sat in his basement and campaigned from hiding, only to come out for half an hour to prove he was still alive. While all he could achieve as a following were those who he paid to show up on tarmacs in groups of fifteen to twenty-five. All while President Trump attracted crowds, at every turn, estimated not in thousands but ten's of thousands.

On election night as the polls closed and ballots were counted, it seemed quite obvious this could turn into a fifty-state landslide for the incumbent, Trump. It seemed the only way he could lose was if the fraud he predicted might happen, did happen. Enter Fox News. They called Arizona for Biden before the poles closed and the country took notice while eastern and mid-eastern polls closed. So when I went to bed a little concerned about Arizona I figured Trump was so far ahead in Pennsylvania, Georgia, Ohio and close enough in Wisconsin, Michigan and Minnesota, that the landslide was inevitable. So I thought.

When I got up Wednesday morning the news sounded as if the race was closer than I had heard before turning off the radio Tuesday night.. Somehow, the lead that Trump had in Pennsylvania, had switched to almost the same for Biden. My first thought was, this has to be a mistake. But they were saying that Biden had won the required 270 of the electoral college and it was over.

It seemed so strange though, that Biden had so much more of a following than anyone guessed possible. Something was wrong and I knew it.

What President Trump had predicted was the mail-in ballots in some states were being allowed through days after the election. Pennsylvania, unconstitutionally changed the ballot rules by going around the legislature (who has sole power in elections by State Law) and allowed ballots that had not been post marked on time or, in some cases, without post marks or time stamps. Same thing happened in Georgia. Michigan and Wisconsin had issues too with some of the machines used to count ballots in certain places. More about that a little later.

Lawyers for the President started their requests for inquiry into the fraud observed in Atlanta and Philadelphia. Somewhere, some way, votes that were cast for Trump had been swapped for Biden's votes. Two counties in Pennsylvania and one in Georgia had major discrepancies needing investigation. In Philadelphia, ballots from a UPS truck coming from New York or New Jersey were unloaded, counted that corresponded to the spike of 300,000 votes for Biden. In Atlanta all the poll workers were told that they were quitting for the night and come back in the morning to complete the vote tabulations. When the Republican poll workers tried to get back into the building they blocked their view and would not let them see what was really going on.

Whistle-blowers have come forward testifying under oath to the fraud and irregularities in six states. One of the states, Texas, file suit against Pennsylvania arguing what affects one state in a Presidential Election affects all. The Supreme Court refused to hear anything as Chief Justice Roberts wanted nothing to do with the outcome of any election. Democrats began calling those who voted for Trump conspiracy theorists and would have loved to have them locked up indefinitely. Most Democrats fell right in behind Biden and ran with the win all the way to their good buddies the media.

A fairly new social platform arose during the summer leading up to the election. It was called Parler and promoted free speech of any and all kind. Within a week after the election conservatives, Republicans, independent voters and those interested in 1st and 2nd amendment rights flocked to the platform. It was obvious beyond explanation a terrible injustice occurred and it all revolved around the political class throughout this country and every leftist or Rino was out for Donald J. Trump's hide.

Then, Twitter banned Trump and began cutting off many of the right and libertarians from their platform and others, like Facebook, followed along. Parler began growing momentum and appeared nearly capable of gaining enough to spill over into the media of the left. Facebook along with Twitter began assaults on my First Amendment Rights too.

On January 6, 2021 President Trump spoke to a crowd of somewhere in the range of 250 to 300 thousand supporters at the Ellipse, from all around the country. It was viewed on television and online by millions more. Before he finished the rally, some thousand or so came in the back of the Capitol and made a mess of things. The Senate and House were certifying the election for lunch bucket joe. An investigation is ongoing.

Now this country is more divided than ever. Parler has been back for a couple of weeks now but that's not really helping much as the media is controlling everything now. Bill Gates and Mark Zuckerberg along with Bezos and others, are limiting our speech to only what they want any of you to hear; nothing more. More than 80 million people know beyond doubt that Joe Bite-me isn't president of anything. But they believe nanny nancy and chucky the schmuck have everything under control. They do not.

And I know the answer to the biggest question of all. Who really is in charge today? Well, Satan thinks he has duped most of the irreligious souls of earth. We know God will never let us down. Have faith and fear not what man can do because what good would it do to gain a whole world like this and lose your soul?

Finally, the Whoo-hah Chinese Red Death Verona Crisis is still with us but don't worry. Fauci said it'll be okay in another year so get vaccinated and wear two or three masks and you might survive and not spread the mutations of the Red Death from China.

When we planned for a drive to see more of the Four Corners, the road above The Valley of the Gods looked perfect. We entered on the Bluff side from US Highway 163, heading into Mexican Hat and Monument Valley.

Ten vertical drop-offs from the lower road to the top, switch back and forth to the summit, 1300 feet above the valley floor. There were three guys in a loaded Ford of firewood coming down at one of the steepest drop offs. I backed up along the edge to let them by.

The valley is a picture paradise.

We spent more than an hour driving through and capturing pictures. The road is an easy drive if you take it that way. It was wet and icy coming off the highway but dry all the way through to the end where the Valley of the Gods Road meets with Utah State Hwy 261.

My idea was to drive up the switch backs, make it to the top where Moki Dugway guarded the valley then drive back to Utah State Highway 95 into Blanding.

It was a little longer drive than I anticipated but well worth it. The difference in elevation from the valley to the Kane Gulch Ranger's Station is incredible. There's more than two feet of snow on top and dry as well as warm in the valley.

There was very little traffic. One family passed us after we came in. We saw five other vehicles before making it to the Valley of the Gods Bed and Breakfast nearly at the end of the road.

We made it into Blanding before 4 PM and ate at A&W before heading home. Somebody in an SUV blew past me in town and made the mistake of tipping off a local cop. No idea what the cop did but if he was passing out speeding tickets he made a good stop with that one.

We have to go back to Blanding for my glasses this week. I'd like to go back through Comb Ridge on Highway 95 and begin my search for ruins in that part of the Four Corners.

I've put this off for a week. It's May 29, 2018 on a nice Tuesday early evening at the Church Avenue alley. Tomorrow morning I'm headed to pick-up Lula at her sister's place in Teec. She has been down there since before the funeral. But, I'm getting ahead of myself.
This morning I went in to see my PA Dan Burnell. He re-wrote two of my meds. I also got to talk to Lindell about some of the events of recent months: namely, April and May.

As I write from Teec Nos Pos Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, two years have past since last I was ready to post this. Here's how all is working today: It's very difficult at this present moment. Our nephew Chris had a heart related death last Saturday. He and Thomas are together now and get to witness from the other side of the veil. Lula had dreams of Chris night before last and, she's always talking to or with Thomas. I was dreaming of Michelle night before last. She was still a little girl -- my little smurffer girl.

Thomas has a new grand-daughter name Charley. She is a chunky little burrito but she's growing so fast. We would love to drive up the roadway to Montrose, Olathe, Delta and Grand Junction to visit but, this god-forsaken Verona Crisis is getting ridicules.

I am only able to work from the church building here. We have no electricity still and we are still hauling our own water. Imagine what it must have been like back in the Depression except we have food and some semblance of normal life without the madhouses in urban populations

So, I have some news I just found on the patient portal I've signed up with at Utah Navajo Health System in Blanding/Montezuma Creek. Utah. I have cirrhosis of the liver and kidney problems. There's a few other things wrong with me but that's for later. Right now, I feel fine except for the "chronic pain syndrome" the health professionals try to describe from their points of view. Me? It hurts; all the time; and I don't think it's going away any time soon.

I've been digging a large hole where I plan to put a garage with a grease pit. There are very strange rocks when going through the layers of earth, metamorphosed rocks of every kind and even some uranium and iron deposits. Imagine that my, geologist son has said. This was once a riverbed; with two ton boulders made of pre-Cambrian Metamorphic rocks. I'm almost past six feet. It has take more than a year to mark off a 24' X 30' excavation and clear away the rocks to just 2 feet at the least and six feet in the middle. Pictures will come soon enough. The garage, however, will be later I'm sure.

The WiFi here is atrocious. It takes my phone an hour to update gmail. Meanwhile, here's the bigger issue bothering me right now. There's a bus load of terrorists running around in the back of my brain. I think it's that nerve cell #54. Anyway, being sober and living with unfinished business is dangerous and very unhealthy. My calling requires more attention than I can give right now. We have twenty to twenty-five members of the church nearby who we would visit if not for the quarantine here on the Rez. Lula's sister, Ernestine, is a paramedic and she gets to transport the sick and elderly every day. I am beginning to feel helpless, as if there's something more needs doing.

So, here I am at the point of feeling again and I all I can think of is myself! Go figure!

When this calamity is finished, another will come anyway. I trust God in all I say and do because I know I have been sent here, not to do my will, but, to do what the Lord wants me to do. And what's important right now is gathering the Lost Tribes of Israel and bringing them back into the fold. That's all.

I told Dave Mossburg again yesterday to read The Book of Mormon. He can go to any Baptist church or gathering of a few humble servants of the Lord and still read the Book of Mormon. We all can. Everyone, read your lesson from Come follow Me. Stay in touch with the Spirit. He will guide you in all you say and all you were sent here to do. We are all in this together so, don't forget where you or I have come from so we know where we are right now and know where we want to go today and forever.

In a month the vernal equinox will have passed and we have the first Sunday of April, which is the 1st of April. So, I have nothing better to do than add up what I've been doing since my last blog, last year.
Most of my fun so far came when I was driving back and forth to Red Mesa, Arizona on the Rez. The white knight has been on the road more this year than anything I've driven for ten years. The transmission is holding out well but, I need to figure out the racket in the front end. Now that it's warming some, I'll be able to move some things around in the driveway and work on it.
This year, I finished Jesus the Christ and started on The Book of Mormon again. We have new curriculum this year in Sunday School and Priesthood/Relief Society. We have not been to the temple yet this year.
Thomas and Jeanel are still spending time at home in the camper. They're not here today but may be coming back tomorrow or Sunday. Michelle just sent a video of Miss Navajo from 2000-2001. Mike and Stephanie have a one year old and Kevin and Alex have two cute kids of their own.
Lula has kept herself preoccupied with upcoming events out of her control. It's not fun watching. It's nice to have my own time killers for trips to Wally World, that still take three to four hours. The Samsung S5 isn't working well, though. It needs a battery which can be purchased online for less than ten bucks but, costs up to forty-five bucks in Montrose or Grand Junction. I really need it fixed.
We haven't had much snow down here this year. But, it's just now the 2nd of March and we have until the middle of May before I'll be concerned. The house plants are well.
Then there is a big deal I call government. It is screwed-up big time. About the only solution I see involves fire, earthquakes and nerve gas. Could be a visit to The Black Canyon is in my future.
There is so much to report on the things that are wrong, it would be easier to say very little is right. That will suffice.

It's Alive, Again! While I was there, I figured a new boat motor was good idea. Then, Mark and company brought over to run it in Ridgway Reservoir. It runs great! But, I baptized my phone and had to get another one. We just went down there Saturday afternoon to see if it made it to the dock or shore. Guess it'll be frozen in a few more weeks.

The white knight made to Denver and back without any problems even with the transmission problem. But, that is solved know. It didn't want to take off in second or third and the overdrive didn't work properly. This is at the shop in Arvada where the boat motor landed into the boat. Go figure

I have withdrawal symptoms when I don't get to see any of the grand-kids. Michelle just stopped over to pick up Jeanel and Thomas. Micah is driving now. Ruby Red (Briar) is growing up too fast! The summer is coming along as is anyway.

The trip to Denver was really uneventful back and forth. My first stop was at Peak Elevator. The boat was in there when I arrived. The four cylinder Chevy was in place, too.

We ran it back to the hacienda Saturday and spent the week lookinng at it until I couldn't stay out of it by Saturday. We got a little cooler weather for a few days but got the motor fired up on Saturday. It sounds good and ready.

Henry and Mark did a good job of getting it cleaned and prepped for the lake. I'm waiting to hear from Mark shortly to see when he wants to get it onto the lake. Blue Mesa is looking good right now.

I went with my mother to the Ft. Collins Temple the 28th of June. Then I got to visit Jerry at Carol's and his new home in western Greeley. It was a wonderful drive and it was lovely to be with my mother at the new temple.

Cheryl and I got to talking about the Scotchman on Federal in Denver. That's where we'd hang out when school was out. Cheryl's mother was born in the house that was there before 1952.

There are more pictures (plenty more), but I'm too lazy right now to take the time to load them. I've been playing musical cars and trucks this past week. Right now the 61 is backed into the drive for brakes. Thomas helped put the correct shoes on the rear last night. Monday we can do the front shoes. I put the smaller, wrong shoes onto the back last May. Now the 3 inch shoes are on the rear and the fronts shoes, which are half an inch narrower will work well. None of the shoes were worth anything when I started so, it now has good ones on the rear.

I had the 89 Ford running Thursday evening. Then I went to move it back onto the street and it barely made it to its new home, now, behind the white knight. The little green Mercury is ready for the bone yard. The Bollingers got the front and alley side of the apartment painted. It looks really good now.

My neck and back and shoulder and hands (hands especially) are really sore today. Tomorrow we're going to the Monticello Temple. I'll get pictures for when we get back.

Whatever your problems, there is always somebody who has it twice as good as you and that should get you motivated enough to move. But I really do not feel up to anything at the moment. And it's okay. I was lucky to get my meds lined out for the coming week.

I ordered a new Samsung S-7 Tab but Amazon wouldn't accept my credit. Before I found that out, I ordered a Dell 15.6 laptop with a touch screen. I am writing with it now. There are more things this can do than I have time left in my life to learn. I still want a tablet though.

So the ~~Christmas~~ Thanksgiving Cactus is growing big blossoms. There are more than 50 buds on it and more are still coming out. Two have bloomed but there are going to be many this next week.

Two Days Later

Now there's pretty a sight. Actually I'm not into this today for the pictures. I had a really awesome experience the other day while reading a Conference Talk from Elder Faust when he was Second Counselor in the First Presidency of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. This is really a big deal for me so I'll compose myself again and start from the Beginning.

HOW CAN THIS HAPPEN?

Elder Faust 2nd Counselor in the First Presidency of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints wrote of a good friend and his interest in the Church and Joseph Smith's part in the restoration.

Donald Rehnquist, an Army friend of mine, convinced me it would be a good idea for us to travel to Rome so we could see the Vatican and The Sistine Chapel. He had seen pictures of the baptismal font in the Manti Temple and wondered why the ornamentations of that font were so artful. We did get to see the Sistine Chapel. I was quite impressed. The frescoes and especially the vaulted ceiling are beautiful.

On our trip back on the train Donald admitted that the substance of the Gospel of Jesus Christ had merit whether from seeing and believing or more readily, praying to know the truth. He appreciated the religious fervor of Joseph Smith and the followers of our faith but could not bring himself full circle to acceptance.

My friend, Don Rundquist, and I were looking at a picture of the baptismal font in the Manti Temple that he thought was a little extravagant. I explained to him the importance of the imagery in all edifices the same as any other religion or practice. So, we planned a trip to Rome in 1971 just after Christmas and went there for a few days. We visited the Sistine Chapel and I was really impressed with the vaulted ceiling painted by Michelangelo’s hands. As Elder Faust commented; “The frescoes, and especially the vaulted ceiling, are beautiful.” I concur.

This is representative of my whole life considering it could have been different but I would not have learned the lessons needed to progress. I think it’s important to stay grounded. It’s okay to have your head in the clouds but your feet need to stay where the work is.

We like to say there are no coincidences in this realm. Everything suggests order even in the chaos. When I experience things in my life like the story above, I'm convinced there's a plan devised way into the future that had no beginning nor has an end.

Don Rundquist and I had a wonderful time travelling to Rome and back from Germany. We were stationed north of Frankfurt about 40 miles on a place they called The Rock. It was the resting place for much of the equipment after WWII. We managed to light off some 1944 gunpowder from one of the newer howitzers (1969 like brand new in 1971). Won’t do that again.

Anyway, I’ve found many pictures recently so this was a small preview of them, So be it.

It's called rust. It never sleeps. But I have a cure for it.

A little siding from one of the garage projects and it's good to go.

How about some rust and stain blocker?

It's almost a hundred degrees out there right now and I'm indoors with only a borrowed fan for a cooler. But it could be worse. I could be in the jungle and that's no fun at all.
I'm still waiting on a few parts to get this thing running. It needs an oil filter housing to replace the cooler housing that came on it. They do that a lot with crate engines installed in motor homes. I need to get cooler lines installed. The u-joints on my home-made drive shaft have the wrong caps for the yoke on the transmission.

For all of the rust and cleanup needed, I think this is going to surprise even me once it's all together. I have enough sheet metal to cover up most of the holes. Then, I need to come up with an accelerator cable. There's not enough room behind the valve cover to put the original back on.

Lastly, it's going to cost to put headers onto this 454. I found them for $100 with collectors and all the bolts. The factory manifolds are worth more than that. But I'd also like to get an intake for the spread bore carb. It still needs a freeze plug, oil and transmission fluid, oil filter, transmission cooler, and few assorted things like a couple of hoses and spacers for the alternator. I'll work on the body/exterior and interior sheet metal as well as the drive line while I wait for parts. It has been fun if not downright hot but that's how it goes. We can do this.

It's been really hot the past week. Had to get Dave Mossburg to take me in to Home Depot to get a new air compressor. I wound up putting the engine together by hand and without a torque wrench. But I worked on the truck all week long, in the afternoon after the shade took over and managed to get the sucker installed. I pulled out the cross member and had to cut the rivets off so it would go into the frame easier. There are holes in the frame in the right place already.

There's the dead air tank. I'm going to add it to the system for more storage.

I'll work on getting it running this week. My budget has no room for this but it'll fetch a good payday when it's up and running. I'm going to have to put a different accelerator pedal on it. But this whole project is made simple just by removing the front clip and the bed.

Here I go again. This is a 1969 Chevy C10 long bed, stepside. I got this from Scott Butler earlier this week. It has no engine or transmission but I have the means to fix that.

This will be a real rat rod when I'm done. The LWB (long wheel base) stepside bed is pretty rare. At first I thought it was a short box.

It needs a little body work but nothing serious. The windshield needs replaced and there is some cancerous metal on it. I have a little sheet metal work to do on it.

It shouldn't take more than $1000 to get it onto the street. It has power steering and if want, I'll replace the front drum brakes out for power disk brakes. I still have the booster and master cylinder from the motor home I took the engine and transmission out of.

Trailing arms and shocks are all good. If you didn't know, the use of trailing arm suspensions is much better for the ride than leaf springs. That's what is used on NASCAR race cars. My neighbor, Bob, helped remove the bed as far as we could. When the boys get over here to help I'll get them to stand it up then go over to the storage unit and get the BBC (big block Chevy) loaded onto Dave's little Ford Ranger.

I will have to make a drive shaft for the Turbo 400 that's going behind the 454.

It's going to be fun until the sun scorches my head.

With the front clip off I can get into the nooks, crannies and forbidden zones to scrap off the cheese.

The front brake shoes need replaced. But all of the bushings, tie rod ends, idler arm, ball joints, and control arms are in pretty good shape other than a little rust.

There's a lot of cancer underneath the front clip corners. The floor pan is pretty nasty, too. I just pulled the seat out a few minutes ago so I can get into the cab floor. I'll get a picture later.

It's hot out there today.

The cylinder heads are cleaned and ready for assembly.

It needs a seat cover and dash pad. But the door handle button popped back into place all by itself while I was pulling out the seat.

Where's the lesson in rancor? I hate flies. That's an upgrade from mosquitoes. When we went out to give blessings to a family in need I found a very unpleasant sight upon exit. It looked like one of the dogs had killed three kittens that couldn't have been more than a week old. The ants and flies were hard at work.
If the rest of the world would just pay attention, all would be as it should. That's why the fly swatter is coming out of the closet. Did I mention I hate flies!
Well, I'm going to the park in about 45 minutes to help with a lesson by our Sister Missionaries. I did find the phone charger for the truck. I have spares but this one is coiled.
The government is no longer for the people. The government is for the government. Every student must be comfortable enough to allow green marshmallows to share the bathroom with left-handed lizards. I still don't like flies.
I have another project ready to go after Scott gets the parts he wants out of the back. I thought that truck was a short bed but he says it's not.

But it's okay no matter what. I need more debt. And did I already say I hate flies?

Robert Redford is on my TV in a Twilight Zone episode. Happy New Year! The dog whined most of last night. I looked on CO Trip dot org for the road report and all of the roads in Colorado are dry; except of course for the alley outside my window. Snow packed and not sanded rules for it and the remainder of the streets in Montrose and Olathe. But when it warms up in a few months the fish will be jumping in the pot holes. If the hardware store is open tomorrow (it will be, unlike the credit union yesterday) I'll get another can of foam insulation for the truck cab. A jack-rabbit tried jumping in while we were in motion a couple of days ago. I can't feel my toes anyway but there are some who still can and they have complained about all of the leaks. Didn't realize Tommy Lee Jones was young once and made a black and white appearance on Rod Serling's famous show. So in the words of the immortal hero, Dustin Hoffman, "Now what!" More executive actions from Washington D.C. will suspend criminal behavior by criminals and prevent the other 28 people in the nation who don't own a firearm from harming you or me. Sticks and stone might break bones but a real nuclear threat from Iran is imminent. Imagine my surprise, Tommy Lee isn't that old after all. That wasn't him on The Twilight Zone. Circus Peanuts and vanilla Coke will help with my weight issues. Last time I stepped onto the scales the slide rule went to 80 before it leveled out. I will be 64 this year if I survive another 140 days.

The 96 Tracer has a new owner. Yesterday I was prepping the car for a trip to Denver. Elle and Adam Lloyd were going to ride with Alvie and me to find a car. After I loaded tools, rotated tires and made it clean, a thought came to me. Why drive 285 miles in a car that is low maintenance and gets better than 30 mpg to get a car that does the same but not one guaranty of road-worthiness? So now I am back to a truck and a truck with a camper on it.

The Grand Marquis wagon came from somewhere up north around Longmont and we parked it at Fred's while we cleaned the glass enough to get it to Thornton. I had it up to 130 mph on I-25 and it ran just like it had never missed a car-wash. The 429 ended up in the super-cruiser. That's because it wouldn't fit in a 96 Tracer. Oh well.
